I found Wellington on Wedding Wire and decided to do our engagement photos with him so we could get a feel for working with him and see his work. He was timely to our appointment. During our session, he offered different prompts for poses. He does prefer to take photos close up, but offered to take them however we liked. It is clear he is quite passionate about photography. He pays close attention to environmental lighting being sure to take photos with correct light. He sent us our pictures the day following our session via email link to the gallery. He does not spend time editing photos. I think they turned out very pretty. -

I write this evaluation with much joy, thanks, and admiration for Wellington's outstanding work. He played a key part of making my surprise proposal an amazing event, and it was nothing short of miraculous.
Wellington's expertise, excitement, and knowledge for the task at hand was evident from our first discussion. He responded to my requests in timely manner and was able to meet up with me in person prior to the surprise proposal! I know he was genuinely interested in our narrative and clearly wanted to capture the essence of our journey in the most authentic way possible.
Me and My now Fiancee love the pictures he has taken for us! Thank you Wellington!! -

My wife and I hired Wellington for both an engagement shoot as well as for our wedding day and we are absolutely in love with the results. He has an exceptional eye behind the camera and his photography style is artistic but also captures the truly special moments. We were blown away by the portfolio he delivered to us after the wedding. He seemed to be everywhere at once. He captured so many amazing moments from our big day. The knowledge and experience that he brings to the table is invaluable as well. I know he is new as a small business but he seems to know a lot about photography and he is passionate about it as a hobby. We appreciated how he was able to work within our budget but also was able to provide realistic timelines and photo locations.
Cannot say enough good things about the photos that Wellington delivered, and it was a delight working with him. I would not hesitate for a second to hire him for another event. -

I don't usually write any review on anything but I am making an exception this time because it was the biggest day of my life. I would hire Artistic Photography all over again! Wellington and Sarah paid attention to every detail throughout the wedding process and gave me some good advice that even our wedding manager missed. They shot our engagement photos and we had a blast. He used a professional strobe light for our photos for outdoor that I had never seen from other photographers. I had been a bridesmaid 4 times before so I had seen other photographers at other weddings. The photos and the posts were to our liking and their prices were excellent so we hired them to do the photo and video for our wedding. At first, our wedding manager strongly recommended another photographer and another videographer they worked with. Therefore, I went with their recommendations but just booked their photographer only. I just asked my friend to take some videos on her phone. I guess they want to get some more commissions. Their photographer and videographer were charging something like $3000 each. I don't have a rich parents, my husband and I had to pay for most of the expenses. We had already used the catering, the wedding chapel, the DJ, and the flowers recommended by the wedding manager. We ran out of money for their photographer. We tried to save some money by finding a cheaper company and found Artistic Photography. They are good people with good equipment, good photos and good videos, and good services but they were new in this business. He volunteered many weddings before for his friends and relatives and have good photos. Since they charge only $600 more for the video, I asked them to do both.
On the wedding day, they captured moments we didn't even see, arranging posts, using good lighting equipment, and things to make each shot perfect without photo editing. The video was stunning and helped us relive our special day from start to finish. They helped to arrange the photo taking process for all guests that made the entire day less stress. They bought in a studio type of lightbox and strobe to make the group photos much better than ordinary flash photos and cell phone photos. Sarah the videographer was friendly with the family and even
reminded guests to stop and take photos in the photobooth and sign the guestbook. She asked guests on each table to say something to us in the video. We watched 10 times over for those videos. We took photos in the photobooth (not just the normal photobooth with props but for taking photos with bride and groom) with most of the guests and they are all very happy with their photos. The guests can order their photos online through a photo sharing site (I guess Artistic Pro make extra money off that but that is OK, I guess all other photographers do that) so we don't have to worry sending them photos one by one. We received our photos and about one hour of videos just 2 days later and we viewed them online during our flight out to Hawaii.
I recommend Artistic Photo and Video for all their services and the great photos at a great price. They don't nickle and dime us to the death like other photographers. My friend was charged $7000 total by her photographer when originally quoted around $3000. I just paid them one fix quoted price and nothing afterward. They gave me all the photo files so I took it to Costco to print them out to make my own photo albums. Thank you all so much for everything you did to make our day so special and capture the memories that will live on! -

Artistic Pro Photography saved our wedding, quite literally. Two weeks before our wedding, our photographer cancelled on us last minute, and did not help us find a replacement. We searched on Wedding Wire and found Artistic Pro. They have good prices, and they are available on my wedding date. Wellington was extremely prompt in replying to us, really showcased his empathy and helped us work through the cancellation while presenting options. He was always extremely prompt when replying, especially considering the urgency of the situation. We tried out the engagement portraits first the next day. He took us to Balboa Park and we have some of the best photos we ever have. We used two of the photo and made large canvas prints to display at the wedding. We locked in the photo/video all day package a few days before, as we were very happy with their samples. I learned that he was an engineer for many years with photography and videography as his hobbies. He took many weddings for friends from his church.
On the day of wedding, the photographer and videographer from Artistic Pro arrived promptly and were extremely patient and attentive. We have a half Indian and half western theme wedding. Even we are mostly Indian, they worked well with our wedding party and guests, setting up shots, coordinating, and generally just being great to work with. They are also immigrants from Hong Kong so they didn’t have as much a cultural shock. They worked hard covering all aspects of the ceremony and reception. Even though they weren't able to eat until very late because the venue didn't make the vendor meals, they were understanding and worked extremely hard to capture everything.
Our wait for the photos and videos was much shorter than anticipated, and they came out great! The photos are great and many of the posts are creative. They put the photos on Pixieset for all the guests to order prints and gave us all the photo files. The videos are also good and basically recorded all the main events in 2 hours of videos in 4K TV quality. We had watched again and again many times. We didn’t pay the extra for a 10 minutes highlight film.
All in all, they were wonderful, great price, good value, and they are highly recommended!

Wow! If you're looking for great photographers and at the best prices, look no further. We booked another photographer for $2500 for our original date wedding back in May 2022. One of our friends used that photographer in her wedding. Our original wedding needed to be pushed back (stupid Covid) and that photographer is not available for the Valentine Date weekend in 2023. All the other photographers were booked. However, we found Artistic Pro Photography. Their prices are amazing. We can get the photo/video combo and still cheaper than the original photographer and they are available. I guess they are cheaper because they are new to Wedding Wire. They have quite a lot photography experience as amateur photographer taking thousands of wedding photos for church friends. They said they will gradually increase their prices.
They are a husband-and-wife team of around 50 years old. The wife Sarah took the videos. Her husband took all the photos. They took our engagement photos and did a phenomenal job! We brought our two elderly Yorkies with us to the photoshoot, which I'm sure wasn't easy, but Artistic Pro was amazing.
I can't even tell you how many comments we got from family and other guests about how amazing they were. They made all of us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They were moving furniture, cleaning up our messy bridal suite, making silly noises to get our new puppy to look at the camera, and Sarah even helped sew a button back on my dress when it popped off while I was getting ready! They directed us and our wedding party to many amazing posts. It was a lot of fun during the portrait session.
Our photos and videos are incredible. My friend told me they are better than the $2500 photographer I originally booked. I compared with her wedding photos and Artistic Pro is better. The video captured all the great moment from inside the bridal room to the banquet. The videos are very sharp and require a 4K TV to view it. I just watched the videos on my computer.
