AMAZING doesnt even start to explain her cakes

She did an amazing job on our wedding and she has the most amazing different flavors i have ever had. Her key lime cake is to die for. She was so great about understanding we had a budget we were trying to stay with. I would recommend her to anyone. I think we was the best bakery i tried in Charleston and we tried ALOT!!!

Baking at its Finest!

I can’t express enough of how Mrs. Lady made our vision for our cake to be a vocal centerpiece at our reception! The cake was so delicious and full of flavor and moist. I can go all day long of her professionalisms. We’re so glad that we chose her bakery! You don’t have to take my words for it but go and see for yourself! Thank you again Mrs. Linda and you definitely have my business for other occasions that I have that’s needs a cake.

Wedding dream cake

The wedding cake buying process with Mrs. Linda was smooth. She is very hospitable and knows her cakes. My wedding cake was as beautiful as it was delicious. I only had my top layer left over!

We "love" ms linda

Used Linda for our daughters Charleston Wedding Cake, it was gorgeous and delicious. Just asked her to make our daughters Baby Shower cake/ same thing, delicious and so pretty !

Delicious Wedding Cake!

Linda was fantastic to work with. Starting with the cake tasting for our wedding, she made everything easy and delicious. She made a fantastic Batman groom's cake that my husband was so impressed with. On the day of the wedding, she made everything easy by delivering the cake herself and coordinating with the florist to get fresh flowers on the cake, which ended up looking beautiful. Our guests raved about the cake, especially the Neapolitan and Poppyseed flavors. My husband and I couldn't wait a full year to try our cake topper, but even four months after the wedding it still tasted amazing. I would highly recommend Linda to anyone looking for a great cake and easy wedding experience!

Look no further! Mrs. Linda providers quality service and beautifully, delicious cakes! I was very indecisive, but Mrs. Linda was very patient. Our wedding cake was perfect! I'd share a pic if that were an option! Certainly can't thank Mrs. Linda enough!

We met Mrs. Linda the other day for a cake tasting & all of the flavors were so good we had a hard time choosing which one!! She has some original flavors that have been passed down from her grandmother and have been featured internationally!
Love her!

Linda was absolutely amazing! She executed our wedding cake and grooms cake perfectly. She was quick to respond to all of my texts and even down sized my cake at my request less than two weeks to the wedding. The cakes were not only beautiful but tasted so DELICIOUS! We 100% recommend her to anyone looking for their perfect cake.

When one of our vendors found out our daughter wanted a naked cake at her destination wedding near Charleston, she said we had to use Linda because she made the most moist naked cakes. We met with Linda and tried many flavor so but fell in love with the Amaretto Poppyseed. There was an up charge for this flavor but it still was very reasonable and well worth it. Linda arrived with the cake in a timely manner and decorated the cake with flowers we ordered from our florist. Everyone raved about the cake! Highly recommend Linda

I cannot say enough great things about Linda and her cakes. We had a tasting of many delicious cakes - very hard to choose!! We finally chose the Hummingbird Cake. Since it was our wedding cake, we had Linda do the sea shell design with her edible sand - WOW! Everyone at our reception was in awe! Linda was great to work with from beginning to end - and she even delivered the cake! If you truly want a beautiful and delicious cake, Linda is your only choice! Jackie & Russ

I could not be more pleased with the cupcakes and cake provided by Linda for our daughter's wedding! Linda was a dear to work with---so friendly and helpful. Her cakes are so tasty! I loved the way she decorates the cupcakes to look like hydrangeas and roses. They are truly beautiful as well as delicious! Each cupcake has a filling as well. We opted for a small two tiered cake on top of the cupcake stand and it was all gorgeous! I highly recommend Linda!

Our entire experience with Linda was amazing! Not only was our cake absolutely gorgeous and just as we pictured, but it was insanely delicious! We got so many compliments and we cannot wait until our 1 year anniversary so we can eat our top tier and experience the deliciousness all over again! Thanks again, Linda!!

We just loved our cake from Linda! Not only did it look exactly like we were hoping, but the cakes also tasted amazing! We ended up having a variety of flavors and all of them were equally outstanding! Our friends and family all commented that our wedding cake was the best cake they have ever had. Our wedding coordinator also told us that she tries the cake at almost every wedding, and Linda’s cakes are by far the best and the most moist cakes of any cakes she had ever tasted. We even had our wedding outside on a very hot and humid day and the cake stayed moist throughout the evening which I was pleasantly surprised being that two of our cakes were semi-naked cakes. Linda is very talented and passionate about her cakes, which is evident in her delicious works of art! I'd highly recommend Linda to any couple looking for a delicious and beautiful cake!

Linda creates absolutely gorgeous cakes--she's really talented. She books up really early, so I recommend contacting her ASAP if you're thinking of using her for your wedding cake. We had a 3 tier wedding cake (vanilla cake with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting and then a marbled cake of chocolate and vanilla with buttercream frosting) and a groom's cake shaped like a basketball for my Hoosier husband (chocolate cake). Not only did the cakes look fantastic, but they were SO good. My mom complained for a straight week after she returned home from the wedding that she should have had more cake because it was so good. My husband and I couldn't wait a year to eat our top tier of the cake, so we enjoyed it during the week after the wedding ;)

Linda was amazing! The cake tasting itself to decide on our flavors was fantastic. We had a to-go box of cake that my husband and I ate for 3 days after. Our cake was beautiful, and our guests are still talking about how delicious the cake was! Would highly recommend using her!

Mrs. Linda was absolutely amazing in every aspect! Our wedding cake was awesome ( and delicious) and my groom'a cake... let'a just say I was left speechless. I still am. She took an idea I had for my husband to describe his favorite activities and just blew my mind with the finished product. Her talent is God given. She is friendly and easy to work with, she doesn't over charge for simple add ons like other bakeries I spoke with. Her response time to my questions was always very fast. I keep trying to come up with reasons to order another cake from her! Her cakes just keep you wanting more! She says her carrot cake is her specialty... but I believe everything is her specialty! They are just so tasty and moist! If you choose Mrs. Linda I can personally guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Linda does an amazing job! From the tasting to the final product everything was great. Our cake turned out exactly how we wanted and tasted even better. Our favorite flavor was the key lime and we can't wait for our first anniversary to eat it again! Linda was also very accommodating with staying in our price range but providing exactly what we wanted. She also took care of the delivery and setting up as well as providing instructions and a box for saving your topper. I would highly recommend Linda!

Mrs. Linda Thank you so much for the time and care you put into creating the perfect wedding cake for us! We were delighted with it and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful and delicious it was. I think the cake got more attention than we did. The attention to detail was wonderful, we were alawys pleased with your recommendations and professionalism. Your hard work and craftsmanship was definitely noted! I'm having a hard time resisting the urge to eat our top layer. Without any hesitation we would recommend your services to anyone looking for a cake that's is just as much delicious, than it is beautiful.
It also really helped that you were able to meet with us beforehand and provide us lots of examples of cakes that we could choose from, and it was great that in the midst of hectic wedding preparations we had peace of mind that our wedding cake was in safe hands!"

Her cake is so good! I had four smaller cakes and each one was beautifully decorated! One of the small cakes was gluten free and the gluten free guests said it was the best they had ever had!

After attending the bridal show at the coliseum, we thankfully met Linda who owns her cake business, Artistic Cakes by Linda. The cake we tasted at the show was absolutely phenomenal. It was hands down the best cake at the bridal show and definitely the best I’ve ever eaten. We tasted her signature creation, Kahlua chocolate chip with raspberry filling, and were sold. We went home that night to email her and set up an appointment later the next week. We got to try all her unique handcrafted flavors, but chose to stick with our instant favorite, the Kahlua Chocolate Chip and raspberry filling cake. On our wedding day, Linda came to our venue and set up the cake herself. Everything exceeded our expectations and was absolutely delicious! We didn’t have a single piece of cake left over after our reception, save for the top tier which we froze for our anniversary. Everyone raved about how delicious it was! If you want an exquisite and delicious cake, look no further than Linda!

Linda made our amazing wedding cake. When my husband and I first met with her we had no idea what we wanted. She showed us several pictures and we could not settle on exactly what we wanted. Linda somehow took all of the things we liked and turned it into a cake that was "us". Linda personally delivered and set up her master piece and after traveling 5.5 hours the cake was not only flawlessly beautiful but oh so delicious. Thank you Linda, our day would not have been so special without you.

I cannot say more positive things about Mrs.Linda. She was truly amazing from the beginning. She is very patient, kind and truly made me feel at ease when it came to picking the design, flavor and size of my wedding cake. My husband couldn't make it to the tasting but she did the kindest thing and prepared a small tray for me to take home so that he could sample it as well. Overall, everything was professional, timely and the BEST part is the TASTE of her cakes ARE AMAZING!! We were able to have three different flavors and my guests really raved about how much they loved the cake. In fact, as you know, the top tier is supposed to be saved for my hubby and I to eat for our first anniversary however, the next day (after our wedding) he whined and pleaded to cut the cake. Needless to say, we will have "half of a cake" to enjoy next year because he simply couldn't resist! If you want your cake to be delicious, beautiful and a guest favorite, Mrs. Linda is the way to go! I promise, you will not be disappointed!

Delicious groom and wedding cakes. Groom cake was Neapolitan and looked exactly like a bottle of Captain Morgan. Guests were amazed and ate every piece! Wedding cake was beautiful and guests raved about the Kailua chocolate chip and the poppy seed flavors. Thanks Linda for the beautiful and delicious cakes!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Linda Blackwell and her artistry as a cake maker. First, she is so easy to work with -- a real pleasure. She's very creative and her cakes were just amazing! Beautiful as well as tasty! Everyone at our wedding absolutely loved Linda's cakes. We chose to have several smaller cakes so we could pick some different flavors and designs. Two of the cakes had seashells made from white chocolate and you couldn't tell they weren't really seashells, until of course, you tasted them. Amazing! I had a destination wedding so I don't live in Charleston but I would have Linda make cakes for me in the future and fly them to me. Linds is quite accommodating. She just wants to do her part to make your wedding special and she delivers! Awesome cakes!

To be clear, Linda did not cater our wedding; had I ONLY known her back then we would have used her. Linda has catered the most magnificent displays at our parties. I cannot say enough good things about her level of artistry.

Artistic Cakes by Linda is my all-time, hands down favorite cake designer in the entire Charleston, South Carolina area!

Not only are her designs out of this world, HER CAKES TASTE DELICIOUS! Delish!

Linda made my wedding cake recently and I cannot express how absolutely perfect the cake was! NO cake has ever tasting so good, and she nailed the design and decorations too. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. I cannot recommend Linda highly enough.

Linda was amazing to work with. She meet our every request and then some. She showed us a large variety of her work and delicious samples and then turned our vision alive! I contacted Linda about two months prior to my wedding after a friend of mine raved about how amazing her cakes were at a bridal show. Luckily LInda was available to make a cake for me on such short notice. She met with my fiance and I very promptly for a tasting and to go over a design. All of her cake samples were absolutely delicious it was difficult to choose. I brought her some images of the look I wanted for my cake and she designed a sketch for me while I was there. We ended up going with her kahlua and chocolate chip cake with a raspberry liquor filling and a butter-cream frosting. I have to say that it was one of the best cakes I have ever tasted! I had so many wedding quests tell me the same. Not only did the cake taste amazing, it was absolutely beautiful. It was everything I asked for it to be and more. I honestly can say that it was my favorite thing at my wedding. I could not stop looking at it! Linda's pricing is also very reasonable, especially considering you will be receiving such a superior product. Linda was an absolute pleasure to work with and I am so grateful that she was recommended to me.

Linda is amazing! Her Kahlua chocolate chip cake is out of this world and her cakes are beautiful. I loved everything about my cake! I would highly recommend Linda!

I love this woman, and I LOVE her cake. It is the BEST cake I've ever eaten. We did two flavors, amaretto poppyseed and Kahlua chocolate chip with raspberry schnapps filling. So GOOD. I'm not going to lie, my husband and I ate the top before our honeymoon. ( Opps.)
The cake was beautifully decorated and better than I could have dreamed for. Do yourself and your guests a favor and hire this lady. BTW, her prices are better than people with 1/2 as good cakes. I'm convinced of this. so highly recommended!

Linda makes the most AMAZING cake you'll ever put in your mouth! She created a divine key lime cake for our wedding along with an equally delicious red velvet cake for a different layer. I handed her a picture of what I wanted and when I walked into our reception hall it was exactly what was in the picture, absolutely perfect! Its nearly a month later and people are still raving about our wedding cake.

Charleston tends to have an extremely high opinion of its self for weddings, but Linda is so down to earth and AWESOME to work with. She truly sets herself apart from all the other vendors in Charleston, by the time you leave your cake tasting, you'll feel like family. Don't go anywhere else, just call Linda!

My husband picked the cake and I sent Linda the picture of the cake I wanted. It looked phenomenal and tasted even better than looked. Very light and melted inside your mouth.

Linda is fabulous. I was a destination bride, and Linda was able to meet with my husband and me on one of our few visits to Charleston. Her cakes are delicious--try the carrot or Kahlua chocolate chip--and BEAUTIFUL! She also created a custom-design for the groom's cake I surprised my husband with, and he loved it! Definitely look up Linda if you need a cake for any special occasion in Charleston.

Linda was very inviting and professional when we went to see her about designing our Wedding Cake. Her home office was comforting and showed the dedication she has put forth into her business. She had a great presentation on her TV to show us some samples of her work as well as tasting samples. Our meeting with her was quick because it was easy to choose and pick a design for our cake from all her selections. She knew what we wanted and it was executed perfectly. Thank you Linda!!

I met Linda while trying to plan a destination wedding in SC. After I had a very bad experience with Medicine Wind Farms Venue, Linda stepped up and guided me to the most amazing group of vendors that literately, saved my day!! I did 4 cake tasting for my wedding. By far, Linda was the best. Her price was nearly the most economical and the flavors were amazing. We received several compliments on the cake the morning after the wedding at our brunch. The cake was so good, a week after the wedding my husband and I almost ate our anniversary layer. We were going to thaw it and enjoy it after dinner. She's a great Charleston cake baker.

Linda provided the wedding cake for our March 2013 wedding. When we first inquired about her cake services, she invited us to meet with her, preview her work, and do a tasting. Her cakes are delicious -- she not only provides stunning / beautiful cakes, but they actually taste great too!! We wanted to customize our cake with a collegiate mascot incorporated in the design, and she accomodated our request perfectly! The cake was beautiful, and everyone loved it! She is very professional and nice, too! Highly endorse Linda and her cakes... we're planning to get birthday cakes from her for many years to come! :)

Linda's cakes are delicious! (and affordable) We designed a 3 tier cake for our wedding and she executed it perfectly. It was amaretto poppy seed with butter cream. It was the best cake I have ever tasted. Everyone raved about it and wanted seconds. Linda also made chocolate shells as favors for our wedding which were also a hit. I highly recommend Linda for any occasion.

Linda was great to work with and made the most amazing cake for us. I knew I wanted to hire Linda when I tasted her samples at a bridal show. The cake was delicious - there were only a very few pieces left. People are still talking about the cake a week and a half later! It was moist and absolutely the most delicious cake I've had. Our photographer mentioned that they have cake every weekend for the last 10 years, and that our cake was the best they'd ever had.

And besides delicious, the cake was beautiful. I wish I could post a picture with this review. We took Linda a picture of what we wanted, and she executed it flawlessly. On the wedding day, she came in unnoticed, had the cake set up, and popped right back out.

Just fantastic. Definitely recommended!

Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious! Very moist even after being frozen for a week after our wedding! The cake decorating was absolutely perfect and exactly what we wanted. Linda provided a comprehensive sampling of her cakes at the tasting and even arranged for us to pick up the sampling box when we were not able to schedule a one on one meeting. If you love cake, she's the best!

Linda's cakes are the BEST!! I first tasted her cake at my sister's wedding in 2007, and it was a no-brainer to have her make my cake as well. In addition to sending me home from a consultation with 13 flavors of cake to sample with my fiance, she listened to my ideas and gave her suggestions to work with me to help me come up with my perfect wedding cake!!! Her cake is moist, delicious, and isn't too rich like most other cakes are (I usually have to scrape the icing off of most cakes). Our wedding guests were flooding the cake table for seconds, and we're struggling to not break into our top tier. It's going to be tough. You cannot go wrong with Artistic Cakes by Linda.

Personally, I never met Linda. I gave my planner a picture of what I wanted my cake to look like, and Linda was able to replicate the look to perfection. Linda provided samples to my planner where I selected the flavors for the layers. The cake tasted as great as it looked, and many guests commented on how good the cake was and how beautiful it was. Big shout out to Elyn and ACE for recommending her.

Linda was very easy to work with and very creative. We went with a classic almond poppyseed flavor. We literally had no cake left at our wedding because everyone loved it. Her designs are beautiful and delicious. If you can think it, she can create it for you.

Linda is an amazing cook! We ordered a cake that fed a little more people than we needed and it was completely gone! The only piece my husband and I got was the piece we fed to each other! She also did our grooms cake which turned out fabulous too!

I LOVED MY CAKE. I saw her at a bridal show I attended 4 years ago with a friend and just had to have that cake, I kept her card all these years. Had a wide variety of flavors to choose from, all of which were delicious! We married almost a month ago and everyone is still talking about how beautiful and delicious our cake was. I would pay the money for her to make my next birthday cake just becacuse it was that great!

Linda was a little difficult to get in touch with. But I assume this was because she is so busy. She was able to do my cake because it was on a Monday (it was last minute). I hose her because our photographer suggested her.

I wanted something really unique--black fondant squares on top, stripes on the middle tier and polka dots on the bottom. She said she had not done anything like this before. She did an awesome job! It was a hit, everyone loved the cake and it was delicious. She had a lot of flavors to choose from, and we chose one of the basic flavors (and more complicated ones for our tier to save.) She also made us a sheet cake in the same flavor, and people didn't know the difference, it looked great!

She was timely and professional and set everything up for us. Highly recommend!

I cannot brag on Artistic Cakes by Linda enough! Not only was our wedding cake exactly what we envisioned, but her flavors are second to none! We chose the poppyseed amaretto and key lime pie flavors for our wedding cake and got so many comments from our guests on how amazing the flavors were. My husband and I saved our top tier, which is key lime pie flavored, and I cannot wait to cut into it on our one year anniversary. I've already told my husband I might have to order a cake from her for our anniversary every year, that's how amazing it was! I also threw her a bit of a curveball for my husband's grooms cake as I wanted it in the shape of a bow tie. I was over the moon when I saw how great it turned out. I could not recommend Linda enough!

Linda's Key Lime Cake was a real highlight of our day! Our guests loved it and were not expecting such a fun cake flavor. The cake itself was gorgeous!

Linda was wonderful to work with, helping us pick a cake that reflected the feel we were trying to create for our whole day, tasted amazing, and didn't blow our budget.

Did have some slow email responses shortly before the wedding, but it didn't derail our day. And the cake more than surpassed expectations!
