Whitney made my day so special. From the moment I met her I knew vibes were going to be high and that we were going to have a great time. She is absolutely incredible at what she does! She came on trail with us and was so beyond helpful(with more than just hair and makeup touches!). She nailed my hair and makeup and was exactly what I wanted and asked for and lasted all day even through sweat after climbing sand dunes. Hire Whitney and not only do you get a fab artist that will make you look HOT but also a built in wedding day bestie. Bonus points if you also use Hazel Eyes Photography and then you literally have the best duo out there. -

I cannot recommend Whitney highly enough! She did the hair and makeup for my wife, my sister, and myself on our Oregon elopement day, and she was absolutely spectacular. She flawlessly handled three very different hair types, skin types, and bridal looks, making each of us feel beautiful and confident. Beyond her incredible talent, she made the entire process so stress-free and brought an amazing, positive energy that kept us all calm and excited throughout the day. If you want a hair and makeup artist who is professional, talented, and a joy to be around, Whitney is the one! -

Having Whitney made my day stress free!
Whitney was an absolute godsend for our wedding day. We did an untraditional elopement in the redwoods, and I did have untraditional wedding hair request. I really wanted to look like a fairy princess in the Red Woods and she made sure that happened. She even got trinkets to add in my hair! She was open to and heard my request for heatless curls, and provided product suggestions and instructions on what we could do to make that happen.Not only was she a pivotal part of making our vision come true, she was a blast to be around and fit right in with all of our friends. She went over and beyond to make sure that I felt comfortable all day.
I highly recommend adding the extra service of having her on trail with you, if you were doing that type of elopement. Having her there for touch ups was a big comfort and she even got videos for us that I will cherish for the rest of time.

I've been struggling to find the right words to describe how incredible Whitney is at what she does and how beautiful she helps you feel. I found her through a recommendation from my photographer and the energy they share is infectious.
From the very first phone call to just vibe check, she was friendly, curious and informative. She immediately put me at ease and I just felt so comfortable with her. I don't really wear make up on the day to day, so I didn't really know what to say to tell her what I like or don't like but she was so patient and helpful as we went through some photos to discuss what I wanted. This definitely help to put me at ease as I wouldn't be doing a trial, so knowing I could trust she understood just from conversations hundreds of miles away was a blessing. I also appreciate that its not just make up with Whitney but skin prep and care as well. And despite some rainfall and hours of hiking, her work stayed on and looked amazing the entire time!
Day of, she shows up ready to be your hype woman and the party don't start til she walks in! She is so much fun to have around, and I couldn't stop laughing and smiling the entire time I was in the chair. But she remains on top of her time and gets things done efficiently. I had 4 bridesmaids that were also getting their make up done, and she was great at giving each of them specialized time but also keeping us on schedule!
Ultimately if you let her, she doesn't just feel like your makeup artist but like your friend helping you get ready. For whatever you need. -

Our photographer 🫶🏻 Brianna Parks Photography 📷 recommended WhitMarie Hair for my Redwoods elopement hair and makeup 👰♀️💋 and I am so grateful she did! Whitney promptly responsed to my initial inquiry. We had an informative and delightfully hilarious phone interview that confirmed she was the right fit. She gave me tips and helped me pick shades I felt comfortable with ahead of time, then we collaborated on a gorgeous updo suitable for my hair (long, thin and fine). We spoke a few times and I listened to her podcast Bride or Die, all of which helped me have zero stress for the big day! I love so many things about WhiteMarie! She is genuine, honest, hillarious, and very talented. She won’t let you fall for the AI photo fairytale, but she will give you the enhanced version of your true natural beauty and a cup of confidence to go with it! I also apppreciate her OCD level of cleanliness, keeping her amazing collection of high end products sanitized and organized. I felt like a celebrity, but still myself which is exactly what I wanted! Later, my hubby said “I loved hearing you giggle all morning with her. I could not wait to see you, doll face” (his cute old fashioned nick name for me). Both my hair and makeup lasted over 12 hours without reapplication or touchups. That means it survived hiking, climbing like a goat up cliffs to get the perfect seaside picture, and lots of 💋smooching! I can’t say enough about this amazing lady other than BOOK HER! You will have no regrets!!! I don’t have more pics to share at the moment, but you can at least get a glimpse and see how happy I was in the one I included. Thank you for an amazing experience!!!!

Exactly what I hoped for!
Whit was an absolutely fantastic artist to work with! We collaborated ahead of time on my look as a bride and she helped me to find a realistic style that would help me enhance my naturally curly hair! She helped the rest of the women celebrating with me find their best hair and make up look. The moms didn’t really have any “inspo” pics and Whit helped determine what would make them look their best. My mom said she has never looked so good in her life. My hair was exactly what I wanted, and my make up was amazing. Despite unexpected rain my makeup held up all evening and was all I could have asked for. You should absolutely hire Whit if you are considering her! Outside of hair and makeup, she helped me feel at ease all day long and made sure to help me navigate any tricky relationships with family throughout the day. She was a joy to have around, upbeat and fun, and the kind of person you hope to stay in touch with and call a friend for life. If I ever have makeup needs in southern Oregon again, Whit will be my first call! ❤️ -

Texas Bride in Oregon!
Whitney was amazing! I don't wear makeup very often and hardly ever do anything to my hair and yet decided to go full glam. She made me feel comfortable and beautiful. She was so easy to work with and my bridesmaids loved her too. Her experience speaks for her, my hair and makeup held up the whole night without the need for touchups! She made each girl feel like they were the most important in the room. 10 out of 10 would recommend! -

Whitney is such a professional, she was able to create unique looks for everyone in my party without ever having done a trial! If you're planning a destination wedding, you can 100% trust Whitney to create the look you want.
Whitney is also great energy- she made us all feel pampered, beautiful and relaxed (so relaxed my sister fell asleep).
The final result was so good that it stayed on all night on 90+ degree weather, and I sweat a lot! I'll definitely be changing up the products I use and how I do my makeup now because I learned so much from her. -

Also, if you plan to take photos over several hours it's worth the price to keep Whitmarie on site to touch things up along the way. My elopement was outside, on the coast, and my sunset photos would have been a disaster if she wasn't there to make alterations to my hair style. -

We had a lot of services to get through and even though we started out late, Whitney and her assistant Megan got everyone done on time. I was so worried about them having to wait for people, and Whitney reassured me and calmed me down. As for her skills, her portfolio pictures speak for themselves. I had a trial with Whitney and one look at my face after she was done and she knew exactly what I didn't like, and then fixed it and it was perfect! She is so personable. Literally the best person to have on your wedding day
Okay. I am not one to like most people. The moment I met Whitney I loved her. She is not only AMAZING at what she does, but she's also fuxking (pardon the language but it is necessary) fun and made my morning that much more special. Whitney and I met at my trial and she was so open and willing to help me find out exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup since I was pretty indecisive haha. She later outdid herself on my wedding day and SLAYED it - my makeup and hair was EVEN BETTER than my trial. I have nothing negative to say about Whitney or Heather (her right hand gal on my wedding day). They fit right into my wedding party group and made us all look like a snack. 100% hire her NOW for your wedding day - you will not regret it. She will help you calm your nerves, make you feel beautiful and make you laugh uncontrollably. She even covered a shiner on my husbands forehead so he looked even more dapper :).

Are we bffs now?!
Whitney did the hair and makeup for the wedding I was a bridesmaid in. Even though I chose the option to do my own hair and makeup, to save a few dollars, she was such a charm to work with! After she was done with all of the girls I asked if she would mind helping me with my halo extensions. I already had them in place, and understood since I wasn’t paying for her service that she wouldn’t help me, but she totally did! It was a wild night and I danced my booty off without ever feeling like the extensions were going to fly out. Thanks girl! On top of that we vibed over my music choices, adventures, and fun times. I seriously think I came away with a new friend. The bride and other bridesmaids looked so beautiful, seriously something out of a magazine. I’m in another wedding this summer ‘23 and I suggested her services to my bride and they are booked! I can’t wait to have her glam me up this year. Words can't express how grateful I am to have had Whitney by my side!
We got engaged during the pandemic and kept trying to decide what type of wedding we wanted. The information in the world kept changing, and we went through all the options -- a large wedding, a small wedding, and an elopement. We finally decided to move forward with a smaller micro-wedding of about 32 people in Salinas/Monterey area. With the size of our wedding being on the small side, there were often "things" we negotiated on keeping or forgoing. Having my hair and Makeup professionally done was one area I knew I wanted to keep no matter what.
Luckily for me, my sister Whitney does this for a living! The funny part is though, I think she has done my hair or makeup maybe twice in my life! So, although I love and trust her, and I've seen her work -- which is always perfect, I was a bit unsure of what I wanted. I started scouring Pinterest and Instagram saving "inspo" for hair and makeup. Whitney and I had a long thread of ideas for things we both liked. This last year was a busy one, and also as my matron of honor, she had a lot going on! We planned a trial, which really helped me learn the different avenues I could go down. Overall I wanted a glowly, bronzed, natural glam, with loose but full curls. She helped me decide on the extensions and color to get, and leading up to the wedding we narrowed the makeup "looks" down to 2 or 3.
I saw the magic of "Whitney" really come alive the day of the wedding. I know how hard-working, and wonderful my sister is, but on the day of the wedding, she greeted me with flowers, mimosas, and the energy I needed. I planned our wedding by myself and didn't have a day of coordinator. I was a wreck and beyond stressed. My sister has always been there for me, but on this day she stepped up in ways I couldn't imagine. She helped keep me calm, she played fun music, and balanced all the family -- not to mention ended up doing more than just my hair and makeup but many of the family members as well. She pampered me, we laughed, and had some of the most special moments I will never forget.
It makes this all sweeter that she is my big sis, but even without us being related, I was blown away by her professionalism, and that didn't stop with my hair and makeup. She made sure the other vendors had what they needed, got food/water, and were enjoying themselves and overall taken care of.
Whitney is the joy, the calm, the energy, the fun, and the vision you need on your wedding day. Without her industry knowledge, understanding my likes/dislikes, wants and needs, and knowing the art of how makeup shows up in photos, what to account for throughout the wedding day, the preparation (did I mention it rained on ours out of nowhere?) like the personalized hair/makeup fix kit she puts together -- there's no way my photos or my look would have stayed the way it did without her.
I am forever grateful for her expertise, her organization, her sense of fun, and her love for what she does!

An absolute gem of a human
Gosh, I don’t feel I can put into words how lucky I am to have found Whitney.
I am from the east coast and was planning an elopement in the PNW with no knowledge of the area or anyone local. I found her on WW and reached out since she had great reviews and I loved her work on her social media.
When we had our initial consultation, I knew I found a gem. Her personality is amazing and she was so extremely helpful in just preparing for our destination elopement.
Leading up to the wedding, she was responsive and willing to help with any questions I had. She even gave me skin care recommendations that I am still using post-wedding and they have helped my skin so much.
We had a major hiccup with our Airbnb the day before our elopement and Whitney was my calm in the storm. She was supportive and patient and was trying to help us come up with workarounds until we were able to find a solution.
On the day of our elopement, she was on time, beyond prepared, and honestly felt like a friend I’ve had for a lifetime. We talked, listened to music from our younger years, laughed so much, and just had a really great time. She did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and made me feel so beautiful on one of the most special days of my life. She also helped me get into my dress and tackled the numerous buttons and bustle. A literal champ for figuring that out. And so sweet for even helping me to begin with.
Oh, and I should mention that it POURED rain during our ceremony (good luck, right?) and my hair still looked fabulous. She worked magic.
I truly cannot recommend Whitney enough. She is an amazing human and a very talented hair and makeup artist! -

I am so happy that I found Whitney on wedding wire! My wedding was 6 hours from my home and I had to rely on wedding wire and online reviews to find my vendors. I happened to see Whitney's account and started following her IG. Her style is exactly what I was looking for and she was quick to respond to my initial outreach. She was great at communicating with me and understanding what I was looking for in hair/make-up on my wedding day. She was able to accommodate hair and make-up for me and my 4 bridesmaids who were looking for a soft glam look.
Day of the wedding and she and her assistant showed up early, got the bridal salon all set up, and were ready to take on the day. I absolutely adored their personalities and honestly could have chilled in there all day (you know, except I had a wedding to get to!). They both did an amazing job working together to get our hair perfect and ready to outlast the dance floor. I felt like I had my own personal spa day with Whitney and walked out of there feeling amazing, looking beautiful, and feeling so relaxed! My look lasted the whole night (even if my dress didn't ha)
I cannot recommend Whitney enough! If she is available on your wedding day, don't think twice, I promise you will be in great hands! -

Whitney was absolutely a dream to work with! She has a true gift! My fiancé and I planned a trip to the redwoods at the beginning of the year, and this trip fell a month before our wedding. I thought, how amazing would it be to have our engagement pictures taken there!! I was trying to figure out what to do about hair and makeup when I remembered a friend of a friend had her pictures taken in the redwoods/costal area a couple of years ago. She was initially referred to me by this person, but I just so happened to notice her on Wedding Wire as well! So I quickly contacted her and she immediately responded, which was so refreshing. At the time she wasn’t available for our date, so I kept searching and just really couldn’t find a good fit. A couple of weeks later she reached out to me and told me that plans had changed and she was available if I was still in need of services! It was such perfect timing because I had given up at this point, and it was so nice knowing she had thought about me! She stayed in touch with me, asked me to send any inspirational pictures to her at any time and always responded quickly. The day of she met us at our cabin, she was on time, and she was ready to go! She has such a great personality and so so easy to talk to. I told her what my vision was, she evaluated everything, we talked through it, and she made it happen! Not over the top but not too natural. It was perfect! What was most impressive was the fact that we didn’t get to do a trial run and this was probably the only time I’ve had my makeup and hair done and LOVED it! She is a gem and a true artist. So talented, comfortable, and confident in what she does! WHEN I come back for more family pictures in the future (because I will, lol) she will be the one I call and the person I trust to do a fabulous job! She made me feel absolutely beautiful! I wish I could carry Whit in my pocket
I had such a lovely time with Whitney. I truly felt so special. Whitney is funny and so easy to get along with. I picked up a vintage pin (a brooch, not a hair pin) like two days before my wedding and she didn’t even bag an eye to pin it into my hair. I have sensitive skin and she was careful to avoid any irritants for me. She really wanted the makeup look to be perfect for me and what I value. I was so sad to take my lashes off and the end of the night because they were GORGEOUS.
Whitney helped me feel so beautiful and so special on my favorite day. I would recommend her to anyone!! -

I found Whitney a month before my wedding, my hair person canceled on me last minute and by miracle I found her on Google then I found her Instagram, I fell in love with her work, I messaged her explaining my situation and luckily she had my wedding day available to do mine and my mom‘s hair, (which by the way last looked great all night even after dancing) She made the experience fun and I felt very comfortable with her, I would definitely get my hair done by her again😊 (the last picture is towards the end of the wedding) -

Rainy wedding magic
Whitney and her assistant were absolutely amazing. They made the 2.5 hour journey in the pouring rain to my venue. I had a June outdoor wedding in Oregon so naturally it was raining all day 🥲. My hair and makeup turned out amazing. I had a half up do with a braid that was honestly just everything. My makeup was natural and everything I wanted. Perfect forest boho dream. -

10/10 would Recommend
OMG.. when I say the best, I mean 10 out of 10 in all categories. Whitney was extremely friendly and it wasn’t hard to make an instant connection. She made me feel so comfortable and keep me in the loop each step she took to doing my hair and make up. (For someone who doesn’t wear make up often, this was exactly what I needed). We did a bride trial session and she did a home visit which was awesome because I didn’t have to go anywhere. She came with everything you could possible need and on the day of my wedding she even left me with a little touch up kit. My wedding day schedule wasextremely stressful but what really help was the Whitney was so flexiable and I could message her at any time and she respond in a timely manner. She was able to accommodate my wacky/ crazy schedule and it made my wedding day a little less stressful. I can’t thank her enough and my husband absolutely love the hair and make up that Whitney did for our wedding. -

Whitney was amazing! My husband and I decided to elope in Northern California. We are from Louisiana so I did not know where to being on finding someone to do my makeup and hair for the big day. I luckily found whitney. She made everything so easy for me. Even after our wedding got pushed back because of covid, forest fires and surprise pregnancy. Whitney was flexible and understanding. Whitney was seriously the easiest person to work with and was so easy going and flexible. From there he trial to the big day, she really listened to everything I wanted and everything I did or did not like and the end product was more than I had ever hoped for! Both her and the other artist she brought with(Mercedes) were both so sweet and accommodating to each of us who had hair and makeup done, especially considering we all had different tastes and ideas of what we wanted. Fairytale Hair of My Dreams
Whitney did amazing with my hair & makeup for my elopement! She arrived on time, was so professional, and was almost like a best friend on the day of my elopement.
I was so impressed by my makeup as well. I have gotten my makeup done professionally 7 times and this is the BEST makeup application I have ever received! I was so impressed.
I had clip in extensions and she was able to install them and curl them. I couldn’t even tell they were in they blended so seamlessly.
She is worth every dime I paid ! -
