Nicole is amazing!!

Nicole and her assistant did an amazing job at my wedding! She was very professional and calming during the whole event and I couldn’t of asked for a better person during my special day! Definitely recommend :)

Simple and Elegant

Nichole was great, she kept in touch with me leading up to the wedding and showed up with plenty of time to get everything done and still be early. Even with the many interruptions, and coming and goings of the wedding party, father of the bride and guest. The groom was very adamant about me looking like my self for our wedding. I don't wear a lot of make up often and wear my hair pulled back. Nichole did an amazing job with my fine hair (no extensions per the grooms request ) and makeup. I felt like myself and comfortable all day. My hair and makeup didn't budge at all, even with all that dancing and sweating. Thanks Nichole

Bridesmaid Makeup

To be honest I’m always disappointed when other people do my makeup it’s never how I want it. Nichole on the other hand was amazing! I absolutely loved my makeup. It was exactly what I wanted! :) I would highly recommend her for your wedding!

Flawless and Beautiful

Nichole was amazing! I told her to do what she felt would really make my eyes pop and boy did she do that. She made me look stunning it a palate I normally would be to nervous to try. She really knew what would make my eyes stand out and how to make my skin look flawless. She also educated me on good products and tips. She paid attention to little details making sure my makeup would last and be beautiful all night! She was professional and had great energy!

Best makeup artist!

Nichole was the best makeup artist and was able to make me feel special on my wedding day. She works with you to figure out your comfort level to make sure you look great on your special day. She also worked with my bridesmaids to make them look gorgeous as well!

Best Day Ever!

Nichole and her assistant were absolutely amazing! They were on time, efficient, and so accommodating. I did a trial with Nichole and went very natural. I decided to do something a little more intense for the actual wedding day and Nichole was able to do exactly what I wanted! Everyone looked absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else! Thanks Artista!

Excellent, amazing, wonderful

Nichole was great she did both my makeup and hair and I loved it my makeup was gorgeous and my hair was beautiful she even came to the location of my wedding to do it. She was amazing!!

Amazing Wedding Makeup & Hair!

Nicole was amazing. From even before my consultation, she was so open and inquisitive and supportive. She asked for pictures to get a feel of what I wanted, and during both my trial and wedding day made sure every step of the way I was happy. Nicole is fun, keeps things light on a potentially stressful day, and made me feel like the most beautiful bride. 100% recommend her for any event you need!

LOVED Artista Makeup

It’s always hard to pick a makeup artist or hair stylist when you’re not from the area. I feel like I got so lucky finding Nichole! She was SUCH a pleasure to work with, she’s so sweet and professional!! I am very picky with my makeup and she worked with me through the process and I LOVED my wedding day makeup. I had a large bridal party and she did such a fantastic job at working with everyone on styles that worked for them. Everyone was super happy with their makeup that day, which helped the day go SO smooth. One less thing to stress about. I love that she offers hair services too, it really helps pull the whole package together. Thanks Nichole!!

Highly recommend!

It was so lovely having Nichole for both hair and makeup on my special day. She was punctual and ready for the day with a smile on her face. Her energy was just what I needed prior to the ceremony... calm & relaxed yet still upbeat and positive. She went above and beyond with my nieces ages 4 & 7yrs who absolutely adored her! Nichole was so patient with them :) My braided hair style and makeup was just perfect and lasted the entire day as well as my mother’s hair which she loved! I don’t usually wear much makeup so a natural look was very important to me. Nichole nailed it and the photos look awesome! I would highly recommend her any day for all occasions!

11/10-- can't recommend highly enough

Nichole is so, so awesome.

She is super friendly and professional, and went above & beyond the call of duty as my wedding makeup artist. When my concealer creased during my trial (probably due to my oily skin), she went into investigator mode, finding techniques for me to try (fellow oily-skinned gals: mixing a tiny bit of setting powder into your liquid foundation is a game changer-- you're welcome!) to ensure that my makeup was perfect on my wedding day. While I loved my trial aside from that minor concealer issue, she was completely open to feedback and changing things up if I wanted to tweak anything.

When we had a day-of crisis (it didn't look like my outside, non-Artista hair stylist was going to show up-- she eventually did, 2 hours late... yep), I reached out to Nichole on the edge of panic to see if she could bring her hair kit just in case. She responded to my email immediately, reassuring me that she was bringing it & that we had a backup plan in the event that the hairdresser didn't show. This gave me so much peace of mind, and her professionalism throughout the day as she gave myself, my mom, & my maid of honor gorgeous looks for the day was so appreciated. It was sweet to see how special & pampered she made my mom feel as they visited during her turn.

Can not recommend Artista highly enough-- you will not be sorry if you hire her for your event.

So happy!!

Nichole is amazing! Everything from my first conversation with her to my wedding makeup was perfect. She is so kind and talented, and she truly knows what she's doing. As someone who doesn't usually wear makeup, I was worried I'd feel uncomfortable wearing what I thought was typical wedding makeup, but Nichole worked with me to find the perfect, natural look for my wedding day. She also did the makeup for my bridesmaids, all of whom also loved their looks. I'm so grateful for Nichole and she will always be the first person I recommend.

Nichole was more than I could have ever hoped for. She transformed me into a bride like magic. She made my dry, puffy skin glow and made my frizzy hair smooth. More than that, she has a great personality that put me at ease and made me laugh. And when my fiance broke a cuff link, she lent him her eyelash glue to fix it! Nichole and her team did hair and makeup for myself, my 6 bridesmaids, flowergirl, and my mom. She is extremely kind, passionate about her craft, and easy to work with! She was flexible in scheduling my hair and makeup trials! On the day of the wedding, she arrived early to set up and even built in extra time into our schedule to ensure we had time for final touchups without feeling rushed. I have very long, thick hair and Nichole was able to do an updo with ease and my makeup was natural but photographed beautifully!

I had an elopement in Paso Robles last week. Nichole is a great makeup artist and great to work with. Fun to talk with and calms your nerves. After a not so great trial, I intensely moisturized my face & skin and it ended up coming out perfect on the actual day. She even gave me a emergency haircut I desperately needed an hour before my wedding! She really went above and beyond helping me to look my best on the most important day. She even gave me tips on where to visit being an out-of-towner. Thanks to her I had perfect gatsby hair and old hollywood glam makeup for my vintage inspired wedding. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for hair and makeup.

Nichole was very organized and responsive leading up to my wedding! She coordinated the hairstyling services for my bridesmaids and me. Her stylists, Summer and Adrienne, were so sweet and talented!! They definitely added to the fun of getting ready on the big day, and they did an amazing job on each girls' hair. Nichole and her assistant Adrian made myself, mother, and bridesmaids picture perfect on my wedding day!!! From initial contact Nichole was responsive and professional in all of her communications and took the ideas I had for my bridal hair and make-up with ease. She was extremely flexible in planning my hair/make-up trial and made all of my bridesmaids (who traveled cross country just the day before) feel comfortable and welcomed. Having an outdoor wedding in June had me concerned about how my make-up would hold up, but both my make-up and hair stayed flawless through the tears, photos, and dancing the night away! Nichole uses quality products that even contained SPF so I wouldn't get too much sun throughout the busy day! She Is amazingly organized and emailed me a perfect timeline for the day off, and even add a buffer time just in case any last minute changes needed to be made! Both Nichole and her assistant did the hair and make-up of myself and 4 others and everyone looked polished and gorgeous without looking overly done-up! I have hard to manage hair, so I was worried about the limits I would having on styling however NIchole's experience really shined through and my hair looked exactly as I wanted. It is obvious that Nichole loves what she does and has so much pride for her profession. I can not imagine working with anyone on my wedding day and if I have any other events that I need to look fabulous for Nichole will my absolute go-to!

Nichole was wonderful to work with! I looked absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and the pictures came out perfect because of her. Nichole is very professional but is also a sweetheart to work with. She did an excellent job listening to what I wanted and her results were better than I could have imagined. Nichole was great. She worked with my schedule and had a timeline ready for the hair and makeup of my mom and bridesmaids. My hair was amazing and my makeup lasted all night. She was very professional and took what I wanted into account but also used her own expertise to give me advice on the styling. My mom and bridesmaids looked so gorgeous. I was very pleased and extremely happy on my wedding day. My girls and I had our hair beautifully and complimentary done just how we wanted it but with an extra touch. Adrienne and Nichole were terrific to work with! Everyone in our wedding party really enjoyed them. The makeup they do is tasteful and elegant.

My only complaint was that the bride costs more than double the other girls. I know that includes the trial before the wedding (which was excellent), but it supposedly is also because they spend significantly more time on the bride the morning of the wedding. This was not my experience. My makeup turned out terrific, but the extra time I paid so much for was spent on others.

Nichole is absolutely amazing! If you want to look and feel flawless and still look like yourself then go with her! We had so much fun getting ready with her and she made me feel so comfortable. I'm so happy I found her for my big day. My make up was perfect and she did everything I wanted and if I didn't like it we changed it. I never felt like I was being rude or crossing a line if I told her I didn't like it. She definitely wants you to feel like a princess on your big day. Nichole is also very laid back and easy to get a long with and that's very important when choosing someone to do your make up/ hair for your big day.

Nicole was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a more attentive and professional hair and make up artist. Some how she still made everyone feel comfortable and like family to her. Our wedding day would not have been as perfect with out her involved. She truly is amazing at what she does. I looked beautiful (according to my now husband ) and felt beautiful too. Great customer service, she makes you look and feel so beautiful. My bridal party all had particular requests and I had a father who doesn't like makeup. He was thoroughly impressed abs so was I. She loves what she does and I loved what she did!

I truly want to thank Nichole for everything she did to make my wedding day preparation and special day so memorable. She was extremely easy to get along as she had such an ease about her and great sense of humor. Her work should speak for itself...It was so amazing. I would highly recommend performing the hair and make up trial as this provided an opportunity for Nichole to get an idea of what I wanted for my wedding day. I was very open to her suggestions and allowed her to work her magic. And boy did she work her magic! I looked in the mirror and didn't even recognize myself because I was darn beautiful! I received so many compliments for my hair and make up and cannot thank Nichole enough for her graciousness and professionalism. I spent a lot of time searching for the right person to do my make-up for the big day- and was amazed at some of the prices. I just wanted someone who would help make the morning stress-free for both me and my bridesmaids, but was overwhelmed by $30 extra for lashes, hair and makeup packages only, etc. Then I came upon Nichole- she solved all of my problems! She worked with me to find a package that was affordable and fit my needs.

Nichole and her partner were both professional, sweet, friendly and talented. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup! (They still say so 2 months post-wedding). I was a little worried about having enough time to get me + 6 bridesmaids all ready, but Nichole made it happen! She works quick, but also takes the time to make sure she is doing something you will like. I didn't have to say much, but she was able to do my makeup exactly how I wanted.

The makeup she uses is high quality. I didn't have to reapply the whole day! We ended up getting married on a SUNNY day- making for squinty eyes during pictures. Luckily, everyone looked so good in their makeup the pictures still turned out! She's also very hygienic- meeting my germaphobe bridesmaids' needs.

I am so happy with my choice to have Nichole there on my wedding day!

Nichole is a superb artist and I would recommend her without any hesitation whatsoever! Here's why... I was planning hair and makeup for my best friend's wedding when, days before the wedding, our contracted makeup artist company completely stopped responding and would not confirm that the hair/makeup artist would show up on the day of the wedding. I panicked and contacted a local salon in town that recommended Nichole. When I called her, she responded immediately and we were able to enter into a last minute contract.

On the day of the wedding, Nichole was incredibly professional, friendly, focused and communicative. She literally saved the day and the bride was absolutely thrilled with the results of Nichole's hard work. We are so lucky to have found her and would recommend her 100x over! She knows how to come through in a pinch and perform brilliantly under pressure. The bride looked like a glowing goddess. We are so grateful!!!

Nichole is an amazing person and a very talented hair and makeup artist. I'm a commercial art director in Los Angeles and it is my job to be a perfectionist...so needless to say on my own wedding day I wasn't going to settle for anything less. My original makeup artist went MIA days before my wedding and Nichole sympathized with my dilemma and squeezed me in to her already full schedule. She had to tackle my very particular taste, extremely long hair and a complexion that is far from perfect...in other words she had her work cut out for her. I originally chose Nichole to do my wedding makeup because she uses Jane Iredale as foundation (instead of air brush which I find to be too heavy and 'fake' looking). I don't wear very much makeup on a regular basis and wanted to look great in photos but also look natural - and like myself! NIchole was awesome. She was so kind and accommodating. She actually listened when I asked for 'light' makeup and let me check in as she was putting it on. She also made changes and suggestions to help fit my style like choosing brown instead of black eye liner and not using fake eyelashes. I've had my makeup done for a couple weddings and Nichole was the first who was very invested in my own comfort and not what she thought looked good. Such a relief! She also did the makeup for 4 of my bridesmaids who all loved the result, they felt comfortable and like themselves! Nichole also brought her work partner, Adrienne, to do hair. Adrienne was incredible, she listened and created the exact hair style I was looking for with no trouble and no questions, it was perfect. I would highly recommend working with these ladies!

I chose Artista Make-Up for my wedding and I'm so happy I did. Nichole did my hair and make-up and one of my bridesmaids and mom as well. She did a trial make-up and hair prior to the wedding which was nice because I got to see how everything would look. I wasn't sure how exactly I wanted my hair to look but she was really patient with me and helped me to find the look that was right for me. On the day of my wedding Nichole arrived at my house on time. She made me look the best I think I have ever looked. I still looked like myself (the make-up was really natural) but a much better version. My bridesmaids and mom looked beautiful as well. Nichole was really conscious of how my hair and make-up would photograph and I really appreciated that because my photos ended up coming out beautiful. I would highly recommend this vendor.

Nichole was amazing! She gave me great pricing and was incredibly professional. I almost never wear make up and wanted to look WOW, but not like I was wearing pounds of make-up. Nichole was able to accomplish just that. She also worked very well with ALL others in the wedding (10 other people). She can work in any space (hotel room shared by 5 girls and things everywhere) and creates the look you want. My pictures came out beautifully largely thanks to her. She works very hard and does not skimp on quality to rush through, but she meets her timeline deadlines.

Nichole did an AMAZING job on my bridal makeup. I did not have to touch up all night except for my lips, and I received MANY compliments on how gorgeous I looked - thanks Nichole! The other members of the bridal party also loved their makeup too.

Since I was not able to do a trial with Nichole being from out of town, I emailed her a picture of me with makeup and one without. Then we chatted on the phone for about 20 minutes about what I liked and what I didn't like. She totally put me at ease with what we were going to do on the actual wedding day.

Nichole showed up right on time and had tons of makeup with her and a makeup chair. She was very professional and really listened to what each person wanted. You will NOT be disappointed.

Nichole did an exceptional job! We had an unusually large wedding party, as well as a mother and a grandmother of the bride. Nichole came in right on time and went right to work. The result was just beautiful! I was especially impressed that even with having a variety of skintones and skin conditions, everyone looked picture perfect. We were so happy with Nichole's work that two months later we hired her again for my younger daughter's wedding with the same outstanding results. I would hire her again, but I am out of daughters :)

I used Artista Makeup when I got married in 2006. Nicole was very helpful in choosing the right shades and colors to go along with my wedding and my facial features. Nichole was fantastic! She did my hair and makeup, as well as two of my bridesmaids and my mom. She went above and beyond in the trial run to create exactly the look I wanted. I found Nichole on WeddingWire and she was easy to work with and answered my questions quickly! I was excited she used mineral makeup, as I was looking for a more natural look. I had my hair and makeup “test” 2 days before the wedding (I live in Denver, so couldn’t schedule it before), and Nichole and Summer (who did my hair) did a great job on the test – taking my suggestions and wishes into consideration and making everything look exactly as I wanted. On my wedding day, we did hair and makeup onsite (Tiber Canyon) which is rustic and has a small “get-ready” suite, but they made the space work! I didn’t have a wedding party, so we only had hair and makeup for my mom and I. Nichole and Summer did a great job with both and kept us on-time for getting ready! I really appreciated their timeliness, ability to work in the rustic space, and listening to both what my mom and I wanted to sticking to that. Our hair and makeup lasted the long day (and night) and it looked perfect. I was initially concerned about “flash back” whitening with the mineral makeup, but (as Nichole had assured me), this did not happen since she uses a high-quality mineral brand.

Nichole was recommended to me by the local professionals in Cambria, CA (my wedding venue was at the Cambria Pines Lodge). Meeting her first over the phone, I found her disposition very professional yet personal too. That, along with her enthusiasm for her craft made her a perfect fit for me and my bridal party. My now husband had only one request - for me to have my hair down, and when we met for our 'practice session', Nichole was very creative - made my hair look wonderful and incorporated the style with my veil and headpiece. I cannot say enough about how great Nichole and Krissy were as our hair & makeup team for my wedding. On the day of the wedding both arrived promptly on time and they were great about sticking to the schedule we had come up with so that everyone had time to get their hair done. Nichole was also super flexible pre-wedding in scheduling the hair/makeup trial. I live up in San Francisco and I probably rescheduled last minute 2-3 times, and Nichole was super understanding. She was great about creating the look that I wanted. I don’t wear a ton of makeup day-to-day and wanted a very natural look for the wedding, which she nailed. We made some tweaks after the makeup trial and the morning of the wedding I decided I wanted a slightly lighter tone on the face makeup, and she redid it no problem. I also loved the fake eyelashes we chose, which I was hesitant about at first. But, they turned out great and looked even more natural than wearing mascara. Nichole had the same attention to detail with my hair. In the pre-wedding trial Nichole addressed several small challenges with my fine, frizzy hair and was able to create some awesome volume and smooth everything out the day of the wedding. She created a beautiful updo and was able to incorporate some flowers into it as well. The best part was that it stayed put all night and looked just as good at the end of the night as it did in the beginning. My bridesmaids, flower girls, and mother were similarly pleased with how their hair turned out and how well it stayed all night. Overall I would highly recommend Nichole and her team!

Nichole was fantastic, professional, friendly and easy to work with. She came on site to do my make-up and two of my bridesmaids the day of our wedding. We had a phone consultation a couple of weeks prior, because I live out of town, where we discussed what make-up I wear day-to-day, the type of wedding we are having, etc. She offered a few ideas and was able to give advice and pointers. Nichole was very nice, responsive and flexible in booking my reservation and individuals from my bridal party. It wasn't really discussed that she intended to use take eyelashes for me and my sisters, and they all ended up peeling off before the wedding even started. Then since I didn't have eye lashes on anymore I was putting on my own eyeliner minutes before walking down the aisle. My makeup was caked on and with my first smile after it was done I had creases around my mouth. I immediately went upstairs and wiped off half of the layers on my face with tissue. I like a more simple natural look and I believe I communicated this, but the amount of foundation that was out on my face was way too much for me.
