The Catering team was amazing to work with they were so sweet and thoughtful. During the cocktail hour they made us our own little apps board so we could snack while we took some photos and they made sure to keep our dinners warm and covered while we mingled with our guests. They were a breeze to work with and the butternut squash was to die for everyone was talking about it! -

We got great reviews on the food from all our guests! From the beginning of our planning process through the wedding night, the whole staff was very flexible and helpful to help make our vision a reality. They did a great job setting up all the tables and decor just how we envisioned it. They frequently checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend! -

These folks are amazing and their food is too! We knew from the first appetizer at our tasting that Two Chefs was going to be catering our wedding. There’s the fact that everyone we worked with was out of this world kind, but their food really speaks for itself. “Bad wedding food” is a trope for a reason, we’ve all been to weddings where the catering is memorable for the wrong reasons. But everything here was a real home run. The variety is expansive, and every single detail was phenomenal. We wound up with a fun, eclectic buffet that we’ll remember fondly forever. Shout out to Allison, who worked with us so thoughtfully and really pulled off some magic tricks. Tara and Katie and Joe, the entire team made us feel like we were putting on one big party. Which is a great feeling, and maybe a rare one in such a weird year. We changed venues and cut our guest list considerably because of the pandemic. Two Chefs was there for us the whole way. Their pricing is fair and completely up front. They facilitated rentals for us too which made us both feel a little less crazy in the run up to our wedding. Can’t recommend these guys enough! -

Given COVID, we changed plans in July for our October wedding. Jamie was responsive and helpful in helping us plan last minute. Their team served our "before we do BBQ" with tacos from their van which were a huge hit. The day of the wedding, the food was amazing. My fiancé said it was the best meal of his life and he's pretty hard to please. Would definitely recommend this team! -

When you get married food is at the top of the list for what makes the perfect event. That delicious, perfect, memorable food is exactly what Two Chefs brought to our wedding. Two Chefs came highly recommended to us and we couldn’t be more thankful. Two Chefs was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and they helped us build the base of how we wanted our entire wedding to look and feel. We worked directly with Tara to plan our wedding. I really loved working with her! She had great ideas and embraced ours. I really loved all the details she put into our wedding food to make it “on theme.” Our wedding was at a vineyard. We have big Italian families and I just wanted it to feel like a big family dinner. Ideas like a bruschetta bar, gelato for dessert and other Italian dishes really brought this idea to life. And even with all the restrictions around COVID, she helped us figure out ways to keep our original ideas and keep our guests safe. I really appreciate Tara guiding us through the safety process.
Our guests are still RAVING about the food. I got some many calls the next day saying specifically how delicious the food was. Family members are trying to figure out how and when we can have another event so that Two Chefs can cater again! The short rib, the butternut squash ravioli, the chicken piccata, the gelato …. Everything was delicious and perfect! I am getting hungry right now just writing this now!
I also found Two Chefs easy to work with, not just because of the collaborative working style, but also because of their extensive experience working at our venue, Fulchino Vineyard. Because they have worked at the venue many times, they knew the ins and outs of the venue and have a trusting relationship with the owners. They know the setup, the best place to set up the tables and how to work well with the owners. This allowed me to sit back and not worry about the flow, set up/presentation of the food. Tara was also that amazingly thoughtful person that came over and asked she could bring me and my husband some food while we were taking our pictures. Love that about her.
I highly recommend using Two Chefs for your wedding or event. I really loved working with Tara and the Two Chefs team, and I look forward to working with them again in the future. Thank you all so very, very much!

We got married on 10/10/2020 during Covid. We were supposed to get married at a venue but that quickly changed and we had to host a small wedding ceremony at our home. Planning a wedding is stressful on a normal day but Covid definitely added to that. Once I started working with Two Chefs, I immediately felt at ease. We had no idea what we were doing and Jamie led us though the process and made me feel confident that we could pull it off. The food was amazing, the Chef was super professional and did a wonderful job. If you’re looking for fantastic food and a great team, definitely go with Two Chefs Are Better Than One, your guests will be talking about the delicious food you served for some time after your event, just as mine are. -

We worked with Alison from start to finish, and through the entire process we felt supported and encouraged by her and the entire staff. They were beyond attentive to us and to the plans, supported our decisions and presented new and creative ideas when we felt stuck. And the most magical thing of all... they kept us BELOW BUDGET. Seriously. They did. So many vendors told us that it could not be done, and Two Chefs did. They cut no corners doing so either, they provided ample staff and every one of them was professional, friendly and generally just happy! It felt so great to have a wedding where our guests were happy, but also it seemed like our vendors were too. Two Chefs made sure that our other vendors were taken care of as well, and everyone seemed happy to work together.
One of the best bits of wedding advice that I got was that, "Guests will be happy if you are happy, so if you look out at the dining room and dance floor and it's just what you wanted, everyone else will follow suit." I am really really happy to say that this was the case. It was so important to us that our guests would be taken care of, and that there wouldn't be any distractions from enjoying the evening and having fun. We could relax and enjoy the wedding ourselves knowing that Two Chefs was behind the scenes making sure everything went smoothly. And they did, from start to finish. -

Katie Sent on 09/14/2015Steve and team at Two Chefs have been amazing to work with. The flexibility in menu and options got us to the perfect menu for our budget. The tasting was an incredible display of our full three station menu including passed apps (and wine!), and they listened to all of our ideas and we tweaked the perfect menu for our big day. They have won so many awards in our area they are a no brainer for your event. Pro tip: Get the award winning bananamisu...to die for! -

Shannon Sent on 07/30/2015Two Chefs was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had a backyard wedding and it was predominantly DIY so, let's just say, not everything went according to plan! There was an issue with our rental company that resulted in our family having to go pick up chairs the day of. When they arrived, the Two Chefs team insisted that they go relax and they took charge, unloading and setting up all the chairs for our reception. This type of service is above and beyond! They were all so friendly all night and the food was delish! We received so many compliments from guests and wouldn't hesitate to hire them in the future. Great food, service, pricing; Two Chefs is a home run! -

Lianna Sent on 08/11/2012Wow. That's a good word to describe our experience with Two Chefs. It all began when my initial catering choice cancelled on me 3 months before the big day. My planner and I immediately started a new search and I came across Two Chefs are Better than One through the web. We had a quote for our eclectic menu within days and a tasting scheduled within a week. The tasting was INCREDIBLE!!! And we got to take home all the leftovers, which was insane. Our event coordinator, Alison, was so attentive and organized - she managed to get our rentals under control in no time. The day of the wedding was no exception. They took our station style menu and worked wonders. Everyone talked about how good the food was and gave so many compliments to the Chefs. The service staff was awesome - one server heard me make a comment about how I missed the cheese table during cocktail hour - next thing I knew I had a personal cheese and cracker plate at my dinner place setting. Unreal! I could go on an on - all you really need to know is that you will not be disappointed with Two Chefs! -

User561137 Sent on 06/14/2011In actuality, I would give them 6 stars in all of these categories, because that is how I feel about them. They were more than just caterers providing excellent food - they acted as my decorators, event coordinators and handled all the details of my wedding. I'm a DIY bride, so I made decorations for the event and then Alison (Two Chefs event manager) told me that if I dropped it off, they would handle all of the decorating. I don't know how they did it since they had less than 2 hours to prepare food and decorate, but somehow, they managed to take my decorations...change them and make them EVEN BETTER than I'd even imagined. I kept thinking, "wow, these are stunning."
They took care of the rentals for my entire reception and throughout the night, there was always someone by my side, reminding me when I needed to do things like change my dress (I changed twice) and cut the cake, if I wanted something to drink or eat. I still cannot get over how incredibly organized and efficient (and kind) these people were. And it extended to their staff as well. One staff member, who I unfortunately did not get to thank, knew my theme was paper cranes and folded me a paper crane out of table napkins. I was so touched, I wanted to take it home with me.
When we were taking photos and portraits during cocktail hour, Kathy was always bringing me and my wedding party hors d'oeuvres so that we could still partake in the delicious food. You know how they say that you never get to eat during your wedding? Maybe with other caterers, but not with these - they look for every chance to make sure you have food. Steve (head chef) brought us food to eat as soon as we sat down....and then brought us seconds when we were done. And they remembered minute details like someone in my wedding party had a food allergy, so when Kathy brought hors d'oeuvres, she brought 2 extra that my friend could eat. They even remembered that I didn't eat beef (I mentioned it once during the tasting months ago), so they brought me a plate of food without beef.
This caterer is just incredible, and you know it must be true since I just had my wedding a few days ago and yet here I am writing a review because I just could not get over what an amazing experience they created for me. The process was so easy and they took such good care of me and my guests - I have a feeling they will be talked about for years to come. -

Highly recommend!
This was the first time I’ve used Two chefs catering and I was nothing but impressed!
In terms of value, it was worth every penny. I’d say their pricing was fairly good in comparison with other companies I’ve researched, but the quality and quantity you get are well worth it.
They were so responsive to emails and calls! It was set up so that it was contactless for drop off and pick up during a Covid friendly mini wedding. They came right to the house, set it up, left before the party arrived and picked up the dishes the next day - so easy!
Most importantly, their food was delicious! I did a cocktail hour and appetizers for my mini wedding, and we picked out a great selection that appeased everyone. My guests raved about the food days afterwards. The quality was so fresh, you can tell they put a lot of time and effort into each dish.
Would recommend to anyone and may use again int he future! -

We got married at Willow Spring Vineyards, and they work exclusively with Two Chefs. Because of this, they coordinate the day of timeline together and it really showed because the day went so perfectly and smoothly. We received such positive feedback on the food, and it was incredible! We also did the cake through them, but it was from Cakes for Occasions (and was also amazing). We had some communication hiccups in the beginning, but once we started working with Tara everything went perfectly. Would definitely recommend. -
