We loved working with Anne and her team! We got married in August 2016 and when we met with Anne in January, we knew she was the right choice! She immediately responded to our initial inquiry, was able to meet with me at her studio on short notice as I was in town, communicated with us throughout the entire process, and delivered incredible photographs and a beautiful album! Anne is warm, relaxed, and patient (especially with our large, disorganized bridal party!). She made the process very easy and it was a pleasure working with her! Thank you, Anne!

I don't even know where to begin! We got married November 4th, 2017 in Baltimore, MD and Anne Sachs and her team were incredible and so easy to work with. Anne was such a calm presence on my wedding day and managed to take the most beautiful wedding shots without feeling like you had a camera in your face all day. She got every single requested family photograph in addition to the most beautiful candid photos. She was able to seamlessly navigate our wedding party and family members in order to get every single requested photograph. She was creative and always thinking of something new, not just the typical family portraits etc. She was able to shoot all of the beautiful details of the wedding (ceremony and reception space before guests had entered and all of the other details that we spent so much time creating). The wedding day flew by and now I have a timeless collection of STUNNING photos to last a lifetime. My friends and family cannot stop complimenting the photos; they look like they are out of a magazine. Anne and her team are a DREAM to work with, they will get every shot and then some on your special day, while navigating every aspect of your wedding in order to obtain the most beautiful photos. Her entire team is so professional and all creative geniuses in their own right. We were so lucky to have them. Their turn around time is fast and their site is so easy to navigate, even giving you a sneak preview before all of the photos are completed. If my words don't do them justice, just see my photos!

I am so grateful to Anne, Tara and the whole Artful Weddings team for the role they played in creating such beautiful memories of our "Farm to Chapel" wedding weekend. We will treasure the stunning pictures they took forever. They fully capture the joy and love of the day. As I went through the images, each one felt like a story. They caught so many special moments that, although brief, were so precious and significant. The gift of having someone with the vision and talent to capture the day for us so perfectly, to look back on in years to come, was really priceless.

Beyond the gorgeous pictures, Anne and her team were such a positive and supportive presence throughout our wedding weekend. We loved working with them from the beginning to the end of the process. Even when the going got tough (or wet, or squishy), their energy and commitment to capturing the joy of the day did not waver. That, in turn, truly helped carry me through and help me see the beauty and joy, even in the rain and the mud. Getting to know our families, charming the flower girls, and even stepping in and helping hold my gown at some points-- It really felt like we were working with good friends, that we knew we could count on (who just happened to be incredibly talented photographers/artists!). Anne and her team did an amazing job photographing my daughter's wedding! The composition and coloring of all the shots were beautiful and they had some unique settings that truly highlighted the venue. Anne met with us at the venue and gave some great advice and ideas that we incorporated into the reception. My daughter lives in LA and the wedding was in Baltimore - Anne juggled working with the bride and the MoB beautifully!!!! We highly recommend Sachs Photography, they are true professionals!!

Anne was fantastic to work with. They were so organized in making sure we got all the photos we wanted and even more! Throughout the whole day, we had so much fun and were still able to join in festivities of our wedding....not stuck taking photos the entire reception! My main goal when choosing a photographer was one who would not be in the way during the ceremony, and they achieved that. You could barely see them during the ceremony, but captured some of the most amazing photos! I am still oohing and ahhing over my images!

We got married in July next to the Chesapeake Bay on a very hot sweltering day. But that did not phase the Artful Wedding team who essentially ran the show. They got exactly what we wanted, the photographs were beautiful and the photographers themselves were so delightful to be around that even our guests were raving about how excellent they were. They also thought on their toes. A surprise thunderstorm was blowing in right around the time of sunset. So they grabbed us a little earlier and we got gorgeous photos on the water and the gardens. And then we ended up with amazing photos of the storm!

Howard Korn of Sach Photography was our photographer for my daughter's wedding. He was extremely professional and helpful, and the pictures turned out wonderful. Working with Anne and Joe as a duo was fantastic! They split their time to capture getting ready photos of both sides of the wedding party and then worked as a team to capture all of the group family shots. Anne and Joe both worked my wedding in November. Earlier in the year, Anne also did our engagement shoot. Sometimes staged shots can drag on and on, but they kept the shots moving along at a good pace. During the wedding, Anne, Joe, and their team blended in and were not at all obtrusive. Because my wedding was in the Fall, I wanted to do some photos outdoors but not at my venue. Anne patiently helped us select a few convenient locations, and I love how those photos turned out.

We received our proofs just a few weeks after the wedding. Next we will select just a small fraction of the photos from the total number of beautiful pictures, which will certainly be a daunting task!

From the first meeting to finalizing the albums, it has been a pleasure to work with the Artful Weddings team. We first met with Anne as we looked for a photographer for our daughter's wedding and we didn't need to look any further! From the beginning, she was able to combine her expertise in photography with the feel our daughter wanted in her photos. She and her assistant did a wonderful job of capturing the entire event in beautiful images which conveyed the feelings of the day as well as the actual happenings. Anne worked seamlessly with all of the various groups -bride and groom, bridal party, extended family, guests, venue..., and we couldn't be happier with the wonderful collection of images of the wedding. Anne was a pleasure to deal with from the time I met her at her studio until the last time I saw her to select my wedding pictures. She made all of us feel so comfortable at the event and didn't get in the way of the flow of the party. It was important for me to have candid photos that covered the special moments of the wedding and the reception and she did that beautifully. She also gets to know you, your story, how you met, your backgrounds, your photo preferences, so she can portray that in the photo story. Her pictures were flawless, creative, and magazine cover quality. If you want the very best, you must have Anne photograph your wedding. She is the best.

Anne and Howard photographed our September wedding, and I couldn’t have made a better decision than to meet with Anne last year and get on her calendar early! She is everything you could ever want in a photographer and more. We hit it off from our very first meeting, and Anne listened closely as we told her our vision for the day and how we wanted to capture it. Even though I’ve only seen a sneak peek from our wedding pictures so far, I know they nailed it! Anne was patient and flexible with us when we had schedule changes. She was as passionate about our day as we were—even going as far as to visit our venue on her own time to scope the best views at different times of day. She was organized and made sure to get all the shots we wanted, while at the same time making sure we were having a good time and enjoying our night. And to top it off, she is just a fun person to be around! Her smile and enthusiasm are contagious. Our bridal party, our families, and our guests all loved her. I only wish we had another event to photograph so we could work with her again soon!

This review is WAY overdue! It is hard to express just how much my husband and I loved working with Anne and her team. We immediately felt at ease working with Anne and when we clammed up in front of the camera she knew exactly how to make us laugh and loosen up. We used Artful Weddings for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and both are absolutely beautiful! (We had our engagement photos done on a farm with my sheep and Anne did not hesitate to go right in the field and befriend the flock) In addition to working well with my husband and I, Anne and her team were also very kind and respectful of our guests and making them feel at ease as well. There is just not enough time to express how much we loved our photographer!

I am writing this review as MOB for our daughter's June wedding. It has been weeks but still the compliments are coming in on our "awesome" and "creative imaginative" pictures that captured the spirit of the day. They were exceptional in being there getting poses etc without getting in the way of the day's momentum. Many a Facebook profile picture has been changed with their work.
Now we had a rainy stormy day at the Maryland Zoo but our photographers Howard and Tara were there from start to finish to help document every beautiful detail and to capture great candids of the guests along with the wedding party and my radiant daughter. Thank you so so much. We now have so much to share with others and look back on.

We absolutely love our wedding (and engagement) photos and wholeheartedly recommend Artful Weddings!

The main person that we worked with was Anne. First off....She is without a doubt a very talented photographer who has an eye for catching moments in a beautiful way... you can see this just from glancing at even a few of her photos!!! But (second thing...) I think it is rare that such a great artist can also be so strong at organization and scheduling. One of my favorite things about working with Anne was that she helped us put together a very solid day-of schedule that made me feel confident and organized leading up to the wedding. It was very helpful to have her many years of wedding experience at our disposal. She also was extremely professional from start to finish and delivered our photos very soon after the wedding. Anne is a huge asset to have as you are planning your wedding. Finally--- Anne is a lovely person who gets along well with everyone and exudes a calming presence. You will feel like you have known her for a long time! She moved everyone along on the wedding day without ever making us feel time-conscious or rushed,and it made me feel great to know that she was in charge. Also one more thing - Anne loves dogs and she got some great shots of mine :-)

We also were very fortunate to have Joe and Christina photographing along with Anne on the day of the wedding. Joe is Anne's husband and they work together seamlessly. Christina has an infectiously fun personality and did a fantastic job dealing with our very large bridal party. I love the photos that she took, and you can definitely tell that she makes people feel happy and smile a lot for the pictures!

I really cannot say enough good things about my experience with Artful Weddings! If you go with them, you can rest assured that you will have amazing photos to remember your wedding day, and it will be an easy experience from start to finish.

Working with Anne was an absolute pleasure! From the moment I stepped into the studio she made me feel comfortable and was immediately able to understand my vision for the wedding day and how I wanted my pictures to look. One of my best decisions when planning our wedding was to chose Artful Weddings Photography! Anne and Joe were a pleasure to work with both in planning and the day of the wedding. They were incredibly organized and proactive in the planning process, reviewing all the different solo/ group pictures we needed to make sure nothing was missed, creating a schedule for pictures, etc. They were also very calming and unassuming to help with those day-of jitters and make you feel comfortable as a couple. Anne and Joe also put immense time and effort into understanding Orthodox Jewish traditions to know the most important moments of the day to capture. They scoped out our venue extensively beforehand to find the best places to shoot, and somehow helped make a golf course look like a beautiful forest/park for outdoor shots. Most importantly, the pictures were ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and I had our wedding album within 3-4 months!!

Choosing Sachs was one of the best decisions that we made. Working with Anne and her team was such a pleasure from the start. She made everything such an easy process, from working with our other vendors to making sure she had the right team with her the day of the wedding to be sure they got all of the requested shots, and then some! Easiest and best decision we could have made! From the moment I met Anne, I knew she and her team would be the perfect photographers for our wedding. She is patient, clear, and incredibly talented. We had a lot of questions throughout the planning processes, and she quickly got back to us with all the information we needed. Not only did she listen to all of our requests, she also had suggestions to guide us through everything.

We were lucky to do a pre-wedding shoot with Anne in the Clipper Mill area to get a feel of working together. We used these photos for our guest book, which Anne designed to perfection!

On the day of the wedding, she kept us calm and focused! She was even able to keep our huge families focused during the big group portraits (not an easy task). During the ceremony and reception, she remained professional and unobtrusive, while still getting the perfect shots.

We were so excited when she sent us our photos. They were absolutely perfect! A great mix of classic portraits along with some more artistic shots. They were so good, we had a very hard time picking just 70 photos to include in our album. Anne was also quick to design our album once we told her which pictures we wanted, and made changes as we requested them. We cannot wait to see the album in person!!

I would recommend Anne and her entire team at Artful Weddings without hesitation!

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Christina and Tasha. From the first meeting we had with Christina she was an absolute pleasure. She listened to all of the photo ideas I had and asked questions to help me think of even more photos that I wanted, and she allowed me to email her any ideas of photos I absolutely wanted them to take, and sure enough they captured them all. Even during the day of our wedding, while our bridal party was getting ready Christina was there to capture those moments, but also was more than willing to help me out in any way. Christina and Tasha both had a very unique way of blending in with our guests so that no one really realized that they were there taking so many photos. They were so wonderful to work with and I can't thank them enough!

Howard Korn and Amy photographed our wedding in March 2014 at the Belvedere and they did a fantastic job. I doubted how many candid photos we'd really want during the reception, especially during the dance set, based on photos I've seen from others' recent weddings, but I was blown away by the quality of Howard & Amy's shots as well as their ability to truly capture the moment. I cherish our photos and am so glad we went with Sachs.

Though it took me longer than ever intended to write a review, I am reminded daily of the incredible work both ladies (Sarah Sachs and Laura Black) created in capturing our wedding day. My husband and I met with a few different photographers but none compared to the comfort and trust we had after our initial meeting with Anne. After also meeting with Sarah (and her pup) to review details, we knew our day was in good hands. We challenged both Sarah and Laura to use their creativity with poses/location, etc. since we only had a few shots we knew we wanted. From the ceremony to the reception, you can see through the photos how the whole day actually felt. They were able to capture our happiness as a couple and the fun of friends and family (not to mention, the amazing backdrop of both our church and Camden Yards. Go O’s!). I highly recommend Artful Weddings, Sarah and Laura not only because they provided us with phenomenal photos, but they are all lovely people!

My husband and I could not have been happier with our experience with Artful Weddings by Sachs Photography. From our very first meeting, my husband and I just fell in love with Anne as she made us feel so incredibly comfortable and at ease through the entire process. Anne and Christine shot the photos for our wedding, and we were absolutely blown away by the results! They are both so talented, easy going, and energetic! They are without a doubt the kind of people that you want with you on your big day, as you will feel like you have known them for years! Not only did they make the entire photography experience easy and carefree, but they took the most stunning photos that I have ever seen! They captured every aspect of the wedding in a way that truly tells the story of our magical night. Each and every photo looks like it could be on the cover of a magazine! My husband and I found it almost impossible to pick and choose when putting together our album!! I would highly recommend Artful Weddings by Sachs Photography to anyone in search of a high-quality and extremely talented photographer at a reasonable price. Howard was our photographer and he was phenom. He was patient when things were chaotic and managed to capture some amazing shots as we were getting ready. I heard numerous comments from friends and family about how good he was at working with everyone to get the right photos. The photos themselves are great and very crisp. We love them. We also can't believe how quickly we got to see our photos (i.e. we were looking at them online on our honeymoon!) We haven't yet ordered our large prints, but we are fully confident that they will be amazing. Overall, a great experience with Sachs.

I had the pleasure of having Anne as my wedding photographer. My husband and I had really high expectations for the photography that we wanted for our wedding and we made it one of our top priorities in terms of budget. I can honestly say that Anne and Sacks photography met every single expectation and then some. They worked within our budget and produced BEAUTIFUL pictures that really captured the essence of they day. Everyone in the wedding party and at the wedding complimented how friendly and easy Anne and her assistant were to work with! (That is not easy to come by). She knew exactly what she was doing, worked well with the light and made us feel comfortable the entire time and it really showed in the pictures. I can't say enough good things about Anne and her work, but it is a good feeling when you and your guests look at your pictures afterwards and can relive the day all over again. THANK YOU!

Artful Weddings by Sachs Photography provided the photography for the day of my wedding. The images are beautiful and, importantly, plentiful! Anne was very responsive in listening to direction from my bride and I, including the style and composition of shots. We met several times prior to the ceremony, looked at samples, and came up with a package that met all of our needs.

Anne was also extremely professional in directing friends and family for photos, including those who made themselves hard to find or did not feel like cooperating. She never overstepped and prevented us from enjoying our day, but still managed to capture all the pictures we wanted. Anne and her assistant were also very skilled at getting great shots from the flower girl and ring bearer, both of whom were under 3 years old and a little cranky from the long day.

We specifically requested that there be no formal 'table shots' and yet still Sachs managed to capture all of our guests, in fun and interesting photos that will enable us to remember our wedding for years to come.

Although definitely not a budget vendor, I found their prices comparable to other high end photography services, although I think Artful Weddings creates better images. It should also be noted that they were flexible in pricing by letting us build a package of services that met our needs, where many other vendors we spoke with wanted us to pay for services we didn't feel necessary.

Anne and Joe were absolutely wonderful to work with. The photos are fabulous and they really listened to the kind of photos we were looking for. Anne makes all the different meetings very lighthearted and fun so it feels like you know her well when they are shooting your wedding. I highly recommend them.

Choosing a photographer was definitely one of the more challenging decisions we had to make for our wedding as there are SO many out there and many offer very different types of packages.

From the second we met her, Anne put us at ease and we knew she was the right photographer for us! Anne was extremely flexible with meeting times as my husband and I weren't living in Baltimore and were only in the area every so often.

From both our engagement shoot to the wedding, Anne and her team did an incredible job at making us all feel natural and comfortable without worrying that anything was being missed!

It was so great to have our photo selects sent out so quickly after the wedding and the album layout sent even quicker after we selected our photos!

If you're in the Baltimore area and are looking for a great photographer, I would HIGHLY recommend Anne and the whole Sachs team over and over again!

Sarah was an amazing photographer to work with. She has a great aesthetic, and we felt that her photographs were a true reflection of who we are as a couple. After six months, we still find ourselves raving about her photographs and have received countless compliments on how beautiful the photos are. In fact, several people have told us that the photos look like they should be in a wedding magazine! Not only have we received compliments on the quality of her work, but our parents continue to talk about how nice and easy to work with she was. Artful Weddings and Sarah were incredibly sensitive to our photography needs while we decided on which photographer was the best match for us, and 100% flexible as we added changes to our photography package (e.g., the later addition of a second photographer and a wedding album). We are so thrilled with the way the wedding album turned out-- Sarah did an amazing job with the layout of the photos. Having beautiful photographs to look back on and a great photographer was so important to us, and we are so glad that we chose Artful Weddings!

We used Sarah as our photographer and she was great! She did a good job of getting to know us as a couple and the way we wanted our wedding to be recorded. We loved working with Sarah! Choosing a photographer was one of the biggest and most important decisions for us in th wedding planning process - and we chose right! Amazing photos that capture all the special moments and emotions of a wedding day are a treasure that will be cherished forever. It is every bride and groom’s dream. Anne and Joe fromArtful Weddings went over and above my expectations in this regard. The photos were a work of art capturing the special environment of Block Island where the wedding was held plus the joy, fun and love the couple plus their family and friends experienced on the wedding day and at the rehearsal dinner. The photos were amazing not only because of their photo expertise but more because of the emotions that were felt as you viewed them. I cannot think of any special moment that was not captured. Also, the bride and groom made so many special items for the wedding that can now be remembered forever because of the crisp pictures of them. The beautiful flowers and view from the venue were amazing. Joe and Anne were flexible and captured thoroughly all that we asked. All this was done even when you did not realize it was happening. Joe and Anne made many friends because of their fun personalities which shined. I could not of asked for anything more. They are the best most amazing photographers ever.

Throughout the process of planning our wedding, we received so many recommendations for the Sachs and so many "good choice!" from other vendors. They have a stellar reputation amongst their peers and there is no higher praise than that.
Joe did such a great job on the day of the wedding. He was so easy to work with and was so accommodating and flexible. He is a total professional and we were so comfortable working with him. The ladies were running late (shocker) and Joe made up time with his flexibility working between the bride and groom parties while we were getting ready. He was also amazingly fast and efficient moving through our group and family photos. I was surprised that he took so few shots of each photo but after seeing our photos, I realize it's because he only needed to take the one perfect shot. And Joe sure knows how to do that! Our pictures blew us away. They are spectacular and stunning! we couldn't be happier! We've received so many compliments on them, with family and friends saying how talented our photographer was. He captured so many special, intimate moments throughout the day - seeing them (and i have seen them over and over cause I can't stop looking at them!) has helped me to remember and re-live our magical night and feel the emotions of our special day. That is priceless.
We couldn't give Joe and Artful Weddings a higher recommendation. A+++!!!

From the first moment we met with Anne, we felt extremely comfortable! It clicked, we knew she was the one :), the photographer that was going to shoot our pictures on our very special day! We did our engagement pictures and everyone was speechless as the results. I mean, my fiance and I are cute ;) lol, but WOW all of Anne's pictures belong in the cover of a magazine! We JUST got our wedding pictures and I forwarded them to our families. The texts have not stopped with: "OMG!!! look at this one! oh and this one"... in other words our pictures are flawless!!! the quality, the angles, the lighting, the emotional parts! We are super pleased with our pictures, the only complaint is we want to print and canvas them all...!!
Anne is an amazing person and a super talented photographer! She literally laid down in the middle of the street for us to get the right angles! She was sooo easy to work with, and so much fun! her personality was super sweet and easy going, and she's sooo funny! She'll sneak some funny words (our favorite was "nuzzle" ;) that will make you and fiance smile and laugh and BOOM, next thing you know, you look like a movie star in that pic.

For my wedding day I had Joe, another photographer and an assistance for my services. They were godsent! I LOVE all my pictures. I wanted to post less than 200 pictures on FB for friends and family to see but that was easier said than done, I ended up posting 800!!! I am sooooo thankful I had Joe and his crew with us on this special day. Additionally, I had sent a timeline for the wedding day to Joe, and on the wedding day he did such a great job of keeping the wedding party on track. So many people were so excited and wanted to make decisions on how pictures should be taken, Joe and his crew were great at turning them down, reducing my stress, just telling me where to be and what to do and most important keeping track of time! I cannot express enough how impressive it was that they were keeping track of time and following the timeline. I had a list of pictures that I liked that I emailed to Joe and mentioned I wanted. On the wedding day I had forgotten about it, but not Joe and his crew. They would randomly pull me to the side and say "okay let’s take that dipping picture you wanted here, let's take that elevator picture you wanted here". It was amazing!!!! When I show my pictures to my friends some of them comment that they regret having gone with a cheap photographer and having their wedding pictures look horrible after they spent so much money on their wedding... Do not make this same mistake. The first thing I booked for the wedding was Artful Weddings (the best photographer according to their porfolio and my beautiful wedding pictures) and then I asked them for a venue recommendation that would provide us with the most beautiful pictures and so on and my husband and I went with their suggestion, and the guests loved the venue. I love Artful Weddings! Thank you so much for everything! Go with Artful Weddings do not end up being a bride who had a beautiful wedding and no pictures to remember one of the best days of her life, just don't do it. I am so happy! :-)

I am a HUGE picture person and I am so happy with the pictures from my wedding - Anne and Joe did a tremendos job and I'm so thankful that i will have these gorgeous pictures forever. Anne is so easy to work with - very accomodating and a lot of fun behind the camera. She really took time to understand our personalities so she could capture the right moments at our wedding and they didnt miss a THING! If I coud offer one piece of advice to future brides, it would be DO NOT SKIMP ON YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER! You wear the dress once, the cake gets eaten and the flowers quickly turn into potpourri, but the images you have of the biggest, most expensive day of your lives will last forever. We loved Anne's editorial style and knew she was the photographer for us when we learned about her experience shooting for magazines in New York. We couldn't have asked for better than Anne and Sarah's fabulous service and all our wedding guests (including my father-in-law, so bonus points) were very pleased at how friendly and professional they both were. I cannot recommend them enough. If you are looking for a photographer who can deliver both posed shots that still look visually-interesting and candid shots that don't look like Facebook, look no further. Thanks Anne and Sarah!

I can't say enough about Anne and Joe Sachs and their accomplished group of photographers - they were just the best. When we met with Anne, she walked us through all our options, listened to what we were most interested in, got a feel for the kind of wedding it was going to be, and paired us with photographer Howard Korn. Howard did the engagement session and my daughter and (now) son-in-law had the best time - and his photos were just wonderful. They were the basis for their reception guest book - which is going to be a real keepsake.

The day of the wedding, Howard and his assistant took so many pictures, but never intruded on the event - we didn't feel "managed" or "posed" so I know Howard will have captured the real spirit and meaning and fun of the wedding.

We had a great time working with everyone at Artful Weddings - I would recommend them without hesitation.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Sachs photography. Both of us were very nervous about having a photographer that could capture the moments of our wedding, but not feel so intrusive or make us feel uncomfortable. Sachs has several photographers who were all amazing. But when we sat down with Joe, he took the time to listen to what we wanted and recommended that we use Heather Keating to photograph our wedding. It was the best recommendation that we received throughout the whole wedding planning process.
Heather's personality was perfect for us. She was very professional, but also relaxed and fun. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and allowed us to have a lot of fun with the pictures as well. We opted for the engagement shoot (which I really recommend.) It was a wonderful way to get to know Heather as well as get some amazing pictures of the two of us in a more relaxed setting.
By the time our wedding rolled around, we had no doubts that she would capture some amazing memories. The pictures are everything we wanted and more... From the details of the arrangements to the venue grounds to the more intimate moments like our wedding kiss, my bridal toast, and my grandmother dancing on the dance floor. She managed to capture it all, but still let the moments happen naturally.

The pictures for our daughter's wedding were tremendous. We were extremely pleased with the entire experience. As the mother of the bride, I could not be in all places. So when I saw the wedding pictures what struck me the most was not just how the imporant moments were captured by all the little moments of the day that were just as special.

We were so happy we close Sachs photography for our wedding!!! Joe and Ann did such a great job! We had both of them at our wedding and we were so glad we did! Ann was great at getting a lot of carefree and whimsical photos where Joe was great at making sure we stayed on time and covered all the tradition photos we requested. Ann was wonderful to work with at all of our meetings and if I ever had a question they were so quick to respond to me! I am so very thankful that I went with Artful weddings. My husband and I were planning our wedding from a different city which can always be challenging. But Joe and his team really went above and beyond to be accommodating in terms of meetings and scheduling. They are super responsive and are truly professionals. As a bride, your vendors need to be people that you can trust to execute your vision. Artful Weddings absolutely did that. Not only that - but they are all very calming (so important!) and unlike a lot of weddings I have attending, they were NEVER in the way.

We havent gotten our proofs back yet (we JUST got back from our honeymoon) but I am beyond confident that they will be stunning. These people really are best in class and KNOW what they are doing. It was the one part of my wedding I really didnt worry about because I knew I picked the best. If you have any doubts, just look at their beautiful website.

If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding...STOP! Look no further than Artful Weddings. We worked with Anne and Joe, along with Eric for our wedding at the Peabody Library this weekend and we could not be happier.

After being a bridesmaid and guest at other weddings, I was not looking forward to taking photos -- especially the posed photos. I have been part of too many "look over here and pretend like you're doing X" photographs that make my skin crawl when I see them afterward! Anne, Joe and their team were such a pleasure to work with that my husband and I both agree that taking photos before the wedding ended up being our FAVORITE experience of the entire wedding. They are both incredibly talented and the entire experience was seamless and so natural (not how I would describe most wedding photographers!).

Once we were at the wedding, I never felt like I was being hovered by the paparazzi. I know that Anne, Joe and Eric captured all of our important moments without intruding in them. There is a reason that their calendars are booked -- they are the best in the business and worth every penny!

Joe and Anne did a fantastic job with our wedding. It is going to be very hard to narrow down which photos to choose. They did a great job of setting up our pre-ceremony group shots. They managed to be everywhere throughout the night and captured many wonderful moments from the reception. They also got the proofs to us very quickly - shortly after we returned from our honeymoon.

My husband and I used Anne and Joe for our engagement pictures and as our wedding photographers. The two of them arrived with plenty of time on the day of our wedding to take pictures of us getting ready separately with our bridesmaids and groomsmen. We had a large wedding party, and took pictures before the ceremony - they were able to coordinate everything seamlessly, while making everyone feel at ease. They were not only a pleasure to work with, but did amazing work. Anne and Joe captured every step of our special day and the pictures were absolutely beautiful. There were so many great pictures, that we had a hard time narrowing down which to use for our album! I would highly recommend them- they truly helped make our wedding day perfect.

Working with Anne has been a wonderful experience! She has been the ultimate professional, while also being flexible with meeting our needs and making sure we were pleased with the end results. The day of the wedding she did not intrude on any events (which we had heard from others that you have to be careful of) and worked hand in hand with our planners to ensure we were happy with everything. Since the wedding day, she has assisted my daughter in choosing just the right photos, layout, and album to help her vision come to life. She took the time to really get to know my daughter and listened to what she wanted. She is a true artist and we have come to trust her opinion and she has not let us down.

My husband and I are very happy with the turnout of the photographs and the price was well worth it. Howard truly has an eye to capture peoples expressions and is a visionary. Artful Weddings', Howard Korn and his assistant were absolutely the highlight of my daughter's May 19th Wedding 2012 in Baltimore. Kate and I met Howard earlier in the year and realized pretty immediately that his confidence, professionalism and overall "sense of calm" would be what we needed. Every priority that we wished for in pre-planning and then finally capturing this most important day for our families, was indeed fulfilled and beyond. With a challenging timeframe and logistics between church service and reception, Howard and his assistant didn't blink an eye. They are upbeat, cool, energetic and talented in every sense. Howard and team blended into the party and made the wedding more fun just by being there. I can only say, thank you, and we are so happy we found you!

Where do I even begin? Everyone at Sachs Photography was a joy to work with and we couldn't be happier with our images! Sarah Sachs photographed our engagement session in Nov 2011, we had the best time together and the photos from our session were AMAZING, we just couldn't wait for our wedding day to arrive knowing what fabulous images Sarah and Edwin would capture! Artful Weddings is without a doubt the BEST in the city - and worth every penny! Anne was our lead photographer and was spectacular across the board. She was very professional and friendly to work with prior to the wedding and it continued all the way up until, throughout and after our big day. We met a few times before, of course, when we comprised the list of 'must have' photos and location shots. Anne was wonderful at recommending her favorite spots to shoot in the city. We chose to take photos in Mount Vernon after the ceremony, like many couples do, and are so thrilled that we did. The photos are gorgeous thanks to Anne's shot selection and her eye for the architecture and color and light and all of those things that make a good photo timeless. We used two photographers for the day, Anne and Howard, and would highly recommend the investment in two, rather than one, shooter. Anne and Howard didn't miss a thing. In fact, when we looked at the photos afterwards, we were so shocked to see all that they captured. My mother noted how seamlessly they blended with the guests; we didn't even notice they were right in front of us during moments like the cake tasting and the toasting. I would highly, highly recommend Artful Weddings; in fact, I already have! One of my girlfriends has booked them. Bottom Line: Some of the best wedding advice I received stated that after it's all said and done, you're left with the pictures. I cannot say enough about how happy I am we invested in Anne and Howard for the day. You will not be disappointed.

Anne and Sarah were the photographers for my wedding. I am just getting photos back and am just blown away and speechless. Such perfect moments were captured that make me feel like I am reliving the day as I go through them. Both Anne and Sarah are not only so amazingly talented, but are just wonderful people in general, accommodating, and so easy to work with. I think their work, along with Joe's speaks for itself, but these are people you can't help but love working with. Just really easy going and honest.

I was in love with the photos Anne did of our engagement session and the beautiful album she presented to us from it that we used it as our sign in book. I cannot wait to see how our full wedding album turns out.

Oh, and the photo booth!! Not a typical photo booth, but a camera ready with a clicker that you to use while posing! The photos from that alone are amazing with the fun filters and all, it's definitely something you should consider.

Artful Weddings photographed two weddings for our family this year, and both sets of pictures are beautiful, capturing each event's unique character. Anne, Howard, and Joe all know what makes a good picture and provide excellent guidance but also know exactly when to fade into the background and record the unscripted moments. Anne Sachs and Edwin shot our June wedding and did such a phenomenal job! From the first time I met Anne, I knew from her sample photos and her professional yet kind and fun demeanor, that she would be great. This initial thought was bolstered by conversations with friends that had used Anne, as well as recommendations from all the other types of vendors we consulted.

At the engagement session Anne put us at ease, and on the day of the wedding, she managed to be everywhere, capturing every moment, without being intrusive. All of our friends and family commented about how wonderful Anne was that day. She also made sure to that we captured all of the people we had put on our list to make sure we didn't forget any pictures amid all of the excitement.

The photos were nothing short of exquisite, and the link to the website was posted quickly. We are now in the midst of designing our album, and it is so hard to choose from all the lovely photographs!

We have already recommended Anne to all of our engaged friends and can't say enough good things about her!

Joe captured every special moment of the best day of our lives in May of 2008 when we got married. He also did our engagement pictures in fall of 2007. Today, Anne photographed our one year old son and we had one of the best family experiences to date- our session was fun and relaxed and the perfect way to benchmark our little family. I can't thank Joe and Anne enough for helping us to commemorate our special occasions in such a touching, beautiful way.

The photos are classically beautiful, creative yet understated in their simplicity. I would whole heartedly recommend Sachs for any event... they have an eye for detail and an easy yet professional manner that makes working with them pure joy!

Anne and Sarah photographed our wedding at Tabrizi's and did a fabulous job. They had great ideas and captured some beautiful moments in unique and artistic ways. Joe and Ann Sachs shot our June wedding and did a more spectacular job than we could have expected! From our first meeting their personalized service and can do attitudes won us over (as did their beautiful portfolio). While shopping for other types of vendors we received very positive feedback when asked who was shooting our wedding. From our florist to our videographer, everyone who had worked with them had nothing but good things to say! Which as a bride, really put my mind at ease. The day of the wedding they were professional and fun. They seemed to be everywhere to get the shot without being intrusive. After coming home from our honeymoon we were immediately able to access our online album and couldn't have been happier! Ann and Joe took so many amazing photographers! We received so many calls from friends and family saying how beautiful our pictures are. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives but seemed to go by in the blink of an eye. We had the pleasure of working with Anne in the spring of '08. We had such an incredible experience that I find myself STILL singing her praises. Specifically, we were drawn to her quality of work - every photo beautiful and captured the emotion of the moment. Choosing photos for the album was hard because of that! Planning with Anne was effortless, easy and enjoyable. Then, on the day of our wedding, Anne blended right in to capture fantastic shots. She even worked with us to get a large group photo taken from the second floor while our guests were on the lawn. To this day, I am still left with a great impression of the work and the person who helped to capture our special day. Working with Anne from start to finish was excellent in every way. Before and during our engagement session, we had a chance to get to know Anne and her style of photography. She was extremely flexible with us and how she shot our photos. Her professionalism showed through when we got to see our prints. Her experience in helping us lay out a time line for our wedding day and keeping to that timeline was priceless. We chose to use Anne and Edwin as our wedding day photographers and they were exceptional! They gave us great input, but allowed us to add our own creativity to the photos. Anne and her team made us feel like our wedding was the most important day of their lives. They truly treated us like a king and queen. I couldn't have asked for more perfect pictures. I got all the photos i wanted and i got the artsy beautiful natural feel that i love with them as well!!!

Working with them has been great they are so flexible and so helpful when designing the album. I am a graphic designer so i am very particular about this stuff and its just been amazing.

Choosing Sachs Photography for our wedding was a no brainer. When I went online and saw the gorgeous photographs, I just knew I had to use them. I was nervous that my pictures wouldn't turn out as perfect as the ones on the website, but boy was I wrong. We hired Joe Sachs and an associate photographer to shoot our ceremony and reception. The pictures truly exceeded my expectations. They truly captured every special moment, and made us and our families feel at ease. And, we had our pictures within 2 weeks of our wedding!!! We had such an amazing experience with Sachs Photography throughout our wedding planning and day. Anne Sachs captured our wedding perfectly and was also responsible for many helpful suggestions throughout the process. Joe and Edwin worked our Halloween wedding last October, and they were both great. They made us feel completely comfortable and kept us loose before the ceremony, then dressed in costume and really blended in and had fun with everyone at the reception.

The pictures turned out amazing; we're having a hard time figuring out which ones to pick for our album because they're that good. We would recommed Artful Weddings to anyone.
