  My husband and I are not one to pose for pictures, but Cassandra made both of us extremely comfortable, and produced some stunning photos. We used Artful Adventures for engagement pictures and our wedding. Cassandra was extremely easy to communicate with, and was able to adapt to a lot of not-so-great situations (rain on engagement photo day and food poisoning for the bride day before the wedding). We wanted a lot of candids, and she did a great job capturing those moments, as well as the traditional posed family and detail shots. Her second shooter, Jennifer, was also fantastic, and jumped in to help when I couldn't get my veil to stay in at the last minute. I absolutely love all the pictures! She was fairly priced, with multiple different options, and it was very easy to set up a payment plan.

  Cassandra is an awesome photographer! She took both our engagement pictures a few months ago and our wedding pictures recently, and we LOVE all of our pictures. If you are not very photogenic, or always seem to be blinking in pictures, or don't like the feeling of being "posed" like in a middle school class photo- hire Cassandra! She will somehow manage to take beautiful pictures, even of your unphotogenic self. (Of course, if you're naturally beautiful I'm sure she would do a good job for you too, ha ha ha). Cassandra is also very sweet person, and we loved her laid-back, fun attitude in the midst of a busy wedding day! On the practical side, she answered any emails we sent her quickly, finished our photos in just a couple of weeks, and, compared to the other photographers we looked at, was quite a bargain! Thanks Cassandra for our lovely photos!

  From our first contact on the phone to the completion of our photos, dealing with Cassandra was a pleasure. There are so many talented vendors in our area; I chose Ms. VanCuren because she has an incredible eye both for photography and staging. Her prices were reasonable and she was extremely accommodating. Her partner, Jennifer, was also a pleasure and did a great job of manning our "photo booth". I can't say enough about Cassandra VanCuren and the fine work she delivered. My husband and I are thrilled!

  Words just cannot express my satisfaction with Cassandra and her work, but words are all we have here, so let's get to it! Artful Adventures was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, and we are so thankful for being put in touch with Cassandra! She was easy going, extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helped us immensely, even through our planning phase, with ideas that would align with our vision and create a gorgeous evening. Cassandra was incredibly generous in bringing some decor and props (at my request) for us to use in our wedding to make our night even more beautiful! We were so impressed with the second photographer she brought as her assistant, and we ended up with pictures so amazing my mother cried with happiness when she saw them. We've been told numerous times that these pictures belong in a magazine, they were so well done. Absolutely perfect! One surprise when we received the final photos was that someone went table to table and took photos of each couple or family who came to the wedding. Now, not only do I have wonderful pictures of my day, my guests also have a great photo of them all dressed up that they can enjoy as well! From the beginning, she was eager to hear about all the details of our big day.   Cassandra is a nice, reliable and dedicated photographer. She was amazing in shooting both our engagement session and our wedding. She was always flexible with us, and believe me we changed a lot of things in a very short amount of time. As a bride I needed some positivity, and she was always patient and supportive with me, and for me having that positive attitude around was great throughout the entire day. She never complained about anything and was always on top of things, captured all the emotions in our wedding and was very dedicated and focused. Her turnaround time was amazing also, we got our photos in about 5 weeks, maybe less. We are very happy we chose her as our photographer and we will definitely be working with her again soon. You won't be sorry if you choose her as your photographer, no matter what event you're having.

  Cassandra and her team combined our family portraits with my daughter's 1st Birthday party and I cannot recommend her enough. From the beginning she was prompt, professional and accountable, quickly responding to my inquiries. Upon deciding to retain her services we met to go over how the day would go (her idea). The day came and we had a major hurdle to over come and she was a magnificent help. She knew what to look for and look out for in our outdoor location. She was kind and patient in dealing with our "Modern Family" with a lot of kids and varied personalities.
  
  When I received her work product, I had high expectations and they were blown away. Bar none the best family pictures we've ever had taken. She has quite the eye for photography and capturing people.
  
  I have told Cassandra to feel free to use me as a reference so I can sing her praises more. You will not be disappointed with Artful Adventures Photography.

  Cassandra was very excited to take on my event as a my photographer and her enthusiasm lasted from booking till the end of my wedding night.   Cassandra photographed my wedding, as well as a trash the dress shoot. I cannot recommend her more highly. She is extremely skilled, has a high attention to detail, and so fun to work with! She makes every shoot fun, and brings such great knowledge and ideas. She is open to trying new things and you can truly tell she puts so much extra time and effort into everything even beyond the shoot itself. She even baked the most delicious cake for our trash the dress shoot and brought up all the props to capture my ideas. She is well priced, but her work is easily worth double. I am so lucky to have found her and look forward to utilizing her in the future to capture all of our important moments!

Her professionalism, care, pride, and creativity led to an amazing day for me and my wife.
