They are wonderful :)

Personally I've always loved Artesano's vibes and how unique it is as a wedding venue. Corie and Sam are wonderful to work with, they are responsive, efficient and organized, love them! We really appreciate them and Chef Kelly working with us on our cocktail Hors d'Oeuvres menu, we specifically wanted to recreate a Cantonese Dim Sum - Chinese BBQ pork pastry (Cha Siu So) and they made it happen and nailed it!! All the staff there are awesome :)

Our Dream Wedding Venue

We could not have picked a better venue for our June 2023 wedding! From our first meeting with Corie and Sam at Artesano, we were sold. The space is so unique and visually stunning. We loved the juxtaposition of all the iron chandeliers, candelabras, and art against softer elements---like the living wall, plants in the ceremony pace, and soft uplighting in the main reception space. We were also extremely impressed by the food options---many of our guests said the hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour were the best they ever had! Corie and Sam were wonderful to work with and really set our minds at ease throughout the planning process. Our wedding day went off without a hitch because of their meticulous planning, attention to detail, and having a great team around them (ex. Chef, servers, bartenders). If you're looking for a wedding venue with all star-staff, top notch service, amazing food, and super cool vibe, run---don't walk---to Artesano Gallery!

Not Enough Words

There are not enough words to describe how perfect our wedding was at Artesano! Within 10 minutes of our tour we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Its unique vibe and decor was modern enough to make our wedding stand out, but still had traditional beauty. The staff was absolutely incredible and Sam and Corie were complete rock stars throughout the entire planning process. Everything they promised from our initial meeting was brought to life on the actual day and I had complete faith in their team without having to hire any additional coordinator, There is so much natural beauty throughout both the ceremony and reception space it made decorating beyond easy. Then there is the food.... food is cooked onsite and it OUT OF THIS WORLD. The amount of compliments we got for both cocktail hour and dinner were amazing. Everything came out hot and full of flavor. The Artesano staff has their system down pat and I would recommend this venue time and time again. They made our wedding dreams come true!

The absolute dream venue!

The best venue out there!! - Artesano Gallery was the most magical location for our wedding. I have truly never seen a venue like it in my life. It is so different, unique, and beautiful. Not only was it the most gorgeous venue, the food was phenomenal. So many of our guests have mentioned to me that it was the best wedding food that they've ever had. The hors d'oeuvres kept flowing. At our cocktail hour, people kept stopping my husband and I to tell us how amazing the hors d'oeuvres were. And it didn't stop there. The first course and entree were outstanding. So many guests have told me that at weddings, they don't usually enjoy the wedding steak. However at Artesano it was the best wedding steak they've ever had. And the crab cakes were to die for. For the vegetarians, we went with the vegetable shepherd's pie which was delicious as well.

My husband and I brought ZERO decorations because the venue is so gorgeous that you don't need any decorations. People kept complimenting the decor and were shocked when I said I brought zero decorations. We saved SO much money by choosing a venue that was already decked out in decor. Even the table decor all belonged to Artesano. We used their table numbers and candelabras and they were stunning. The other venues that we toured, we would have spent an arm and a leg to dress it up to make it look nice. Not Artesano, it's already the perfect back drop for the perfect day.

Along those same lines, there is so much included in their package. We only had to add a few other additional vendors (photobooth, photographer, DJ, ceremony musicians). Artesano in their package takes care of food, alcohol, desserts. It was so nice to not have to worry about outsourcing food/alcohol/or even a wedding cake. Artesano takes care of the wedding cake for you (from Bredenbecks which is the best!)

The best part was, Artesano and their staff are such a well-oiled machine. As a bride, I didn't have to worry about any details because Samantha, Corie, and their staff took care of everything. It was such a smooth and perfect day.

So many of our guests hadn't heard of Artesano before, and I've already had a few people tell me that they'd love to consider Artesano for their wedding one day.

For any brides and grooms out there looking for the most perfect and unique venue that'll absolutely wow their guests, look no further than this hidden gem of Artesano. I'm forever thankful that we chose this as our wedding venue. By far the best day of our lives!

PS - Their coffee shop is beautiful as well! Be sure to stop in and try some of their coffee or food from their brunch truck!

The Perfect Backdrop for Our Wedding!!

The Artesano Gallery was the most beautiful and unique place to host our wedding! Corie and Sam were incredible to work with throughout the planning process - always quick and helpful responding to any questions or concerns, and such sweet people to be around. The Artesano itself is unlike any other venue we've seen, and our guests were completely wowed! Not to mention how tasty the food was! Our day, and our photos, are incredibly beautiful amongst all the intricate metal artwork in and around the Artesano. 100% recommend for a perfect, urban, funky, one-of-a-kind event!

GOAT Wedding Venue

If I had a dollar for every person who said this was the best wedding they have ever been to I would be the richest person in the world and we have the entire Artesano staff to thank. The ceremony space décor was amazing and like nothing any of our guests had ever seen. And it only got better from there. Cocktail hour was extremely well done, every hot appetizer came out perfect and freshly made. I have received multiple reviews from guests expressing the food was incredible and fresh. Incredible venue, better food, and phenomenal service from start to finish. Wish I could go back this weekend!

Perfect Service and Absolutely Stunning Venue!

First off, Cory and Samantha were absolutely amazing to work with and really were the glue the held everything together, leading up and the day of. They are truly rock stars!
The venue was absolutely stunning! The ceremony space is the perfect look to engage any crowd or service and the cocktail/reception area is why we chose Artesano in the first place. It is just gorgeous. From the flower/plant wall that has been the backdrop of every instagram post to the hand made iron trimmings throughout, this is a place that makes your special day stand out amongst the rest. Could not be happier!

Spectacular Venue!

Artesano Gallery was the perfect venue for our wedding. We wanted a unique event space with incredible food -- and Artesano went above and beyond our expectations. The ceremony space was magical with the exposed brick and gold decor, and the reception space was so unique with contemporary artwork on the walls and as the furniture (e.g. sweetheart table, escort wall) itself. The passed hors d'oeuvres were delicious and plentiful, and the entrees were so much more than standard wedding fare. We also loved that all hors d'oeuvres were prepared for us to enjoy immediately following the ceremony -- it ensured that we ate during the night and tasted all the food! The late night desserts were incredible as well -- so many guests commented about the attention to detail with these items. In addition, Artesano was responsive to all our questions during the planning process, did not have hidden fees, and was easy for our vendors to work with. They accommodated all of our special requests (e.g. alcohol, specialty cocktails, and specific furniture for the sweetheart table). We are very grateful to have planned our wedding at such a magical venue!

Simply Awesome!

Talia and Ivan at Artesano were amazing and we are so thrilled we had our wedding at Artesano! Talia met with us several times leading up to the event and was so organized and has an awesome attention to detail. The communication was impressive as well, even when we had to postpone to a later date because of Covid. We were pleasantly surprised, after finding a mutually agreed upon date with all the vendors, how easy it was to postpone.
We had both the ceremony and reception at Artesano and the ceremony was in the new space across the street which is so unique and cool. The music from the two musicians we had in there from the band was really enhanced with the high ceilings. It is so naturally beautiful, our florist barely had to add anything to the space. The large brass door is so elegant and dramatic for entrances!
The entire night went so smoothly and the staff at Artesano was like a well-oiled machine, and there were plenty of them. There was no wait anywhere, including at the initial bar during the cocktail hour, with the signature drinks ready to go and described as delicious from guests. We received so many compliments on both the venue itself, how beautiful it was with the lighting and artwork; and on the food. People could not believe how yummy and also attractive the butlered appetizers were. We have guests mentioning them a month later. The filet was one of the entrée choices and described as ‘melt in your mouth”.
We really cannot thank Artesano, and especially Talia and Ivan enough for making our event so grand and special.

These guys are the dream team!! They felt like family.

The people:
Let me start by saying you won't find a better team to work with than at Artesano. Ivan and Talia were such a pleasure to work with and were a big reason we chose Artesano. We were looking at 6 or 7 venues in the philadelphia area, and Artesano was the first one we toured. After we toured the venue and spoke to Ivan, we made our decision on the spot and cancelled the rest of our tours. Ivan truly cares about you. He makes you feel like family and is responsive and accessible. We would drop by when we were in the area or give them a random call, and Ivan and team were always there to help and chat. Wedding planning is stressful enough, but Ivan and his team make it as easy as it can be.

The people make a difference and you won't find better people to work with. We were supposed to get married May 23rd 2020, but were unable due to the COVID-19 restrictions. It was a stressful time, but Ivan was so understanding. He was flexible and was open to how we wanted to proceed. We ended up having to cancel due to the unknown of the pandemic timeline and personal reasons. Ivan refunded us all of our deposits and not once did he pressure us to consider postponing against our best interest. We'll definitely try to book an event there when life returns to normal.

The Venue:
The space is unique and beautiful. It feels like you're in an upscale sophisticated art gallery, but also has a homey and intimate feel. Artesano is really unlike any other venue in the area (and this is coming from an Architect). It's definitely a space that your guests won't forget. It's right on main street in Manayunk, which is an awesome neighborhood. Your guests will have a great time checking out the shops and food places on main street.

The Food:
Usually when you go to weddings, the food is mass produced and just not great. That's not Artesano. The food is amazing. Chef Kelly definitely takes pride in her food, as every hors d'oeuvres and main course we tried left an impression. We continued to talk about how good the food was after the taste testing and our two foodie friends that came with us couldn't stop raving about it. Case in point, the vegetarian option (we chose vegetarian shepherd's pie) might have been our favorite. Usually the vegetarian draws the short end of the stick and the vegetarian dish is an afterthought. The vegetarian Shepherd's pie we tasted would make any meat lover happy.

Summary:
Feel like you understand how much we love Artesano. We really have no negatives about Artesano. You're going to get the best food, people, and value. Whether you're looking for a wedding venue or just hosting a party, Artesano is really an ideal venue.

The Artesano Gallery is truly the best!

The Artesano Gallery is truly the best! We fell in love with the unique, gorgeous venue the minute we walked in and were beyond happy to work with Ivan and Talia. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. They guided us through the entire process with a smile and were even complimented by our other vendors for their professionalism! The day of our wedding was perfect and all of our guests are still talking about their experience! The food was AMAZING and everyone who works there went above and beyond to provide the best for our us and our guests! All of our guests can’t stop talking about the how much they loved the beauty of the venue, the food, and the staff for running such a flawless night! We could not be happier!

We just got married at Artesano and could not be happier with our experience here. Throughout the whole planning process Talia and Ivan were so responsive and walked us through the whole process. The day of was perfect. The space is unique and funky. The moment I walked in, I knew we were there to have a good time. Our guests could not stop talking about how good all the food was. Multiple couples who had gotten married already told us that they wish they had known about this location. The menu options are insane - there are so many choices and all the food we had was cooked to perfection. Go see for yourself how great this place was. The staff was so attentive to us throughout the whole evening. We wanted for nothing and wish we could relive that night again and again.

Best wedding venue in Philly!

When we began our process of looking for a venue in and near Philly, we found that most places were similar in a lot of ways. Artesano Gallery does not fit that mold at all. From the moment we walked in, we knew that Artesano was the place we were getting married. We even cancelled another venue visit while we were still there! Ivan is not your typical wedding vendor; he will not say yes to all of your requests and he has strong opinions on the space and how the event should flow. However, we LOVED working with him and really appreciated the wedding wisdom he brought to our planning process (he was right about everything). We did mostly work with Talia and she answered all of our long lists of questions from day one, and kept us on track until the day of. She was really amazing to work with and coordinated everything in a way that kept me relatively stress-free. Our favorite part of the whole night was the FOOD. The food was above and beyond any wedding I have ever been to and we have not stopped receiving compliments, especially for the cocktail hour. It's really not fair to other wedding venues how good this food is. We were initially worried about them only having one bar in each room, but between passed wine and signature cocktails there was never a long wait for our 145+ guests. The staff were all attentive and made the whole night seem effortless and classy. Overall, the whole process was wonderful. My only slight complaint that is not even worth taking off a star is that they don't open the venue more than 15 minutes early for guests without charging an extra fee. That said, we found everything else to be priced reasonably in comparison to other venues, especially considering all the extras that the venue comes with (centerpieces, hundreds of candles, Ivan's orchids, the living wall, THE ARTWORK EVERYWHERE). Our wedding was absolutely perfect and we can't recommend Artesano highly enough.

From the amazing decor to the first-class food and service Artesano was the perfect place for us to get married! Every question we had was answered through quick responses. The service was impeccable! We have had an amazing amount of comments back from our guests that commended us on our level of planning... and we didn't have to do much on our own. Artesano deserves the credit for 98% of our compliments :)

Artesano Gallery truly is unlike any wedding venue we have seen and we were so pleased to have shared our special day here. Everything exceeded our expectations. The food, including the hor d'oeuvres, were amazing works of art. The venue itself was candle lit which made the ambiance very romantic and inviting. Artesano Gallery has various pieces of iron artwork throughout the venue making this location unique including a stunning vertical garden that is perfect for photos. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had anything we needed and that our guests were happy as well. The dance floor is located on a different level than the dining area which makes the space versatile and interesting. We had guests that preferred to stay on the upper level who enjoyed their time just as much as those who wanted to go down onto the dance floor. We have received, and continue to receive, compliments from our guests from all ages saying what a great time they had, but especially the unforgettable food experience. We were able to sit down and eat comfortably which is apparently not so common for a bride and groom at a typical reception, but the Artesano staff made sure time and time again that our needs were being met so we didn't have to leave the table for anything.If we were to get married again, we wouldn't want to do it anywhere else! Thank you so much for creating everlasting memories and enjoyable experiences for our guests, but more importantly for us as bride and groom!

Artesano is a very unique urban venue that wowed all of our 150+ guests. They accommodated a group of our size with no problems and everyone had a great time. The food is excellent and the management team is super professional, warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend for wedding, reception or corporate events.

We wanted a truly unique location for our daughter's wedding. She is artistic and a bit non-traditional. The venue space is not only beautiful, but flexible for ceremony/cocktails/reception. The furniture in the space is distinctive and wonderful for relaxing lounge areas. The artwork that graces the entire space is fantastic with a fun flair! People LOVED photographs in front of the bio-wall! The food was wonderful. All our guests raved! Working with Ivan and Talia was easy - they are true professional. I really can't say enough about how pleased we are that we chose Artesano!

The overall experience at Artesano was perfect! It was so nice working with Talia and Ivan and they really cared about each and every detail. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for and more. It was warm and inviting as well as elegant and special. Our guests commented throughout the night and after on the venue and the food. We had our wedding here in November of 2017 and we could not have asked for a more spectacular venue. We received so many compliments from guests about the beauty of the location and the quality of the service. The food is beyond delicious and it was so special that they personalize it to your tastes. We planned the wedding from out of state and Ivan and the team helped us make it seamless and easy as can be!

Artesano was the perfect place for my daughter's wedding on 10/1/16. The food, staff and ambiance of the venue was everything we wanted and a perfect place for a day of celebration. Ivan and Megan were more than willing to help us plan a joyful day for our family to share with friends and family. The venue and artwork is absolutely beautiful. We are still getting notes and thank you notes for hosting a fantastic event! I highly recommend Artesano for your wedding! It's wonderful!

We just had our wedding at Artesano and it was absolutely amazing! The venue is so unique and absolutely gorgeous. It's a hidden gem just outside the city that I am so thankful we found. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Artesano, Geo, Ivan, and the entire staff. The venue had recently undergone some renovations and it came out more gorgeous than we could have imagined. The food was delicious, staff was pleasant and helpful, and attention to detail is impeccable. If there were any hiccups, we were never made aware and the night went so smoothly. A concern we had was about parking, however, it is included-there is a lot directly across the street. We have gotten so many compliments on the wedding and we cannot be more thankful to Artesano for helping us do so. We could not have asked for a better night. I wish we could do it again!

My new wife and I had our wedding ceremony & reception here yesterday and it was absolutely AMAZING! From initial planning & meetings through the actual event the entire team was on their game. Execution was flawless. Food was top notch, and we are in the business and extremely picky. Their Chef is talented! The venue space was described by guests as the most unique they had ever seen and gorgeous. They even handled "that guest" with grace & charm. I could not be more pleased. The wedding planner even drove the Mothers back to the hotel post party. Well done Artesano, well done indeed!

Artesano was the perfect venue for our wedding! I can't say enough good things about the venue itself, which is very unique, the food and the staff. We ended up getting married 10 months after our engagement, and one of the things we loved about Artesano was that so much was done in-house. The caterer/chef is FANTASTIC - my family keeps telling me that a month later they keep thinking about the food, and that's so rare for a wedding!

Most importantly, the staff made the wedding process absolutely seamless. Ivan was involved from day 1 and was always around to answer any questions or give any advice, but the event planner switched a month or so before our wedding, which terrified me. Upon meeting Geo, I only wished he had been there from the beginning! He was thorough, ensuring that every detail was correct. He made sure we had everything we needed, confirmed and re-confirmed lists with me, which is perfect for my Type-A personality, and generally just eased all my worries, especially in the final 2 weeks! I couldn't have imagined a better person to have helped ensure our day was perfect!

One thing I have it say is that you definitely pay for the service. Friends and family constantly told us you never eat at your wedding, but we had a full meal! The servers brought a plate from one station, Ivan made sure nobody bothered us, and as soon as we were done, a plate from the next station appeared. We were amazed! One of my favorite moments of the day was when, right after the ceremony, they took myself and my new husband back into the bridal suite to give us a minute to ourselves. They had previously asked us each what our favorite drink was, and that was waiting for us, along with two of each of the passed appetizers. The first drink together as husband and wife was such a special time for us!

In all, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding. If you book Artesano, you will not regret it! THANK YOU GEO AND IVAN!

I have to say that I had the wedding of my dreams & a lot of that has to do with the team at Artesano Iron Works! Artesano offers so much - from amazing food, to incredibly beautiful atmosphere, to extremely attentive & hard-working staff, my husband & I were beyond impressed.

The food served to my fiancé & I as well as my parents at the tasting was exactly as it was at the wedding reception - AMAZING. Artesano’s chef is incredible & the gourmet food served was something that had all of our guests talking! I wish we had the option to go & eat there on a regular basis!

The staff, in particular Geo (wedding coordinator) & Ivan (co-owner), are extremely attentive to detail & ensure that you get the reception of your dreams through their meticulous planning & organizing. Geo came on board to the team at Artesano only a couple weeks before our wedding & ensured that he was on top of everything that we had planned for the 9 months leading up to our wedding. He consistently responded to all communications, questions or concerns I had usually in less than an hour. He also took work off of my plate & stress off my mind by calling & confirming all reception details with my vendors in the week leading up to the wedding – without me ever even asking! I was so impressed with him & knew I had nothing to worry about on the day of. The rest of the staff that we met on the day of the wedding were also amazing. My parents gave a toast at the beginning of dinner & forgot to bring glasses up with them & the servers noticed & had 2 glasses on h& to give to them when it was time to make a toast – little things like this made a HUGE difference & meant the world to all of us!

I can’t say enough positive things about our entire experience with Artesano! Artesano is a beautiful venue to begin with but it’s the people & the high-quality service & offerings that made it our perfect day. Thank you all for an amazing wedding reception!

We had a blast at our Artesano reception and want to give thanks to the amazing team, headed by Ivan and Geo. Both Ivan and Geo care greatly about making sure your event goes off without a hitch... and ours did. Geo is highly organized, responsive and a source of calm during what can be a crazy day. For instance, the strap on my dress snapped during our cocktail hour and Geo immediately ran to CVS to pick up a needle and thread. As an overly-organized person myself, I had full confidence that Geo would remember every detail, and that made it easy to relax and enjoy our day. We received tons of compliments on the ambiance -- that it was "the best wedding venue" people had ever been to -- as well as compliments on the service and food -- that it was delicious and served at a good pace. We sprung for the extra hour and we were so glad we did. My only complaint is that it's over! :)

Dawn and Ivan were very engaged and accommodating to make our wedding exactly what we hoped it would be. The food was without reproach, the level of service our guests received from the moment they were greeted to enter the ceremony (with a choice of prosecco or sparkling water!) to the way they were ushered to cocktail hour (we were fortunate to have a gorgeous day and were able to take advantage of the courtyard space), and then up to the dancing. It went off without a hitch. It is a very cool space, very clean and open with a character to it that you just can't find in a generic hotel ball room type setting. If you want a wedding space with some flair to it - book at Artesano!

I might be the only bride who can honestly say I had a perfect wedding, and it was all made possible because of Dawn Bainbridge at Artesano Ironworks. The venue is a perfect combination of hard and soft with the exposed brick and artwork, mixed with the linens and lights. I looked at many industrial spaces in and around Philadelphia, and there truly is no other venue like Artesano.

The food was AMAZING. Friends and family could not stop talking about how great the appetizer pairings were, and how great dinner tasted! They are still raving about all the food weeks later. The desert table was gorgeously displayed and people were popping cakes and treats in their mouth through out the night. The great thing about the apps and the desert were they were all bite size, so no one had the awkward ‘where do I put my drink? ‘ and ‘How do I eat this?’ moments.

Throughout the year of planning, I began to think of Dawn as more of a BFF than a coordinator! She is just amazing, knows everyone in the business, is able to give good recommendations and has great ideas. She also knows how to keep you calm when planning becomes overwhelming. I can honestly say my wedding would not have been the same without all of Dawn’s help.

We had a fantastic experience working with Dawn, Ivan and their team to plan our wedding. Because we do not live in the Philadelphia area, almost all of our planning was done from a distance, and Dawn helped make the entire planning process run smoothly. Dawn was wonderful to work with, and made us feel at ease through the entire planning process. Their vegetarian options were amazing, and they helped us put together an amazing dinner that could accommodate all of our guests dietary restrictions. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and our guests had a fantastic time. I would recommend this venue for anyone looking for a beautiful and unique space to get married in. I knew we were in good hands with Dawn, and we were able to fully enjoy our wedding day without having to worry about any of the details!

Our wedding was an absolute fairy tale!!!!! Artesano was breaktaking. From the food, to the lighting and the beautiful ceremony space we couldn't have asked for more. Our family & friends loved the location. The food was delicious and the overall look was unremarkable. We couldn't be happier with our decision to have our ceremony & reception at Artesano. The staff was super welcoming, flexible and responsive to our many questions and requests. Dawn was easy to always get in touch with throughout the planning process & she absolutely made our wedding possible. I was never meant to feel bad when I emailed at all hours of the day. Ivan was also constantly available when we needed things, and always had a warm smile on his face. My husband & I are still receiving calls, texts and emails about how much people enjoyed our wedding because of the venue. If given another opportunity we would without reservation choose Artesano's again, again & again for our wedding location.

While our wedding has not yet occurred, I can tell you I have no concerns that it will be an amazing event. Dawn and Ivan are true professionals who want nothing more than to have their customers' special day be nothing short of perfect. The space is by far the most beautiful, their chef creates the most delicious meals (that are not your typical wedding menus), and their vendor partners have been easy to work with. I can not say enough good things about the people at Artesano Iron Works. Ivan and Dawn made me feel so secure about everything. The event was flawless. The food was phenomenal. It was everything that I dreamed my wedding could be. Even the servers on the day of the wedding were so completely attentive and pleasant and really seemed to enough their jobs. It was like a fairytale. I felt like a princess. I am pretty high strung, type A about things that I do, but I didn't have 1 worry on the day of the wedding. I was truly able to relax and enjoy. Guests were coming up to both myself and my new husband all night to tell us how much they loved the venue and the food. I can't tell you how many people asked me how I found the place. I was so pleased that I picked Artesano.

The best part of Artesano is that they have an elegant feel of a very high end venue, (but without the stuffy pretense that can be associated with it) and the coziness to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. The flow from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour to the reception is seamless.

I am so thankful to have found Artesano for my wedding. I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

I could never express to everyone how amazing our experience was with Artesano. The moment we stepped into the building we were pretty much sold. The venue speaks for itself.. Simply fantastic. Dawn, Ivan, and Colleen- also fantastic. They made us feel very at ease with the whole planning process and were awesome to work with. They were always available and eager to answer any questions or concerns that we had.

Being a chef, the food was my biggest concern for our guest. Chef Kelly went above and beyond my expectations with this. The hors d'oeuvres felt endless throughout the cocktail hour and the servers did an amazing job at taking care of me (bride) and making sure I ate! We had 130 people and everyone's meal was fantastic. (Still getting rave reviews from our guests!) One of my cousins has a gluten and dairy allergy and they even tended to her specific needs. I'm sure they wouldnt want to make a habit of this, but she was so appreciative of this, as was I. (Thank you!!)
The service was also impeccable. I also don't know what the standards are, but I ended up practically having my own server who never let my drink go empty and helped me out with anything I needed throughout the night.

Colleen and Ivan were amazing day of, making sure everything from before the ceremony to sending us on our way was perfect. It was perfect. Everything!! We love you guys and couldn't be happier with our choice. Thank you for making our day perfection! We couldn't have done it without you!!

The space is quite awesome. The ceremony took place in what was a garage. However, it has been turned in to a beautiful, intimate space with amazing art work covering the walls, fabulous wrought iron lanterns that are filled with candles and long wooden benches to accommodate the guests. The acoustics are perfect so no mic or amplification is needed. Everyone loved this space. After the ceremony our guests went to a lower gallery for a cocktail hour. This gave everyone a chance to have a drink, eat some delicious food and mingle before heading upstairs to the main space. This gallery is filled with wrought iron works - all amazing. The room looked beautiful and has the capability to accommodate a large crowd or something on a smaller scale. It would be perfect without any added decorations as the art and iron works are great on their own. Artesano has an in-house caterer and the food is fabulous. We opted for a cocktail type party with tapas all evening. This was a huge hit with everyone. I highly recommend using space.

I cannot say enough about this unique venue and the dedicated staff working at Artesano. It was love at first sight from the moment my mom and I stepped into the gallery. Ivan and his staff welcomed us with open arms and were fabulous to work with from day one. I call Artesano my happy place!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding night filled with artwork, dancing, delicious food, and love. The ceremony took place in the new “chapel” which was so special and intimate. After the ceremony guests walked through the courtyard with sculptures and fire pits into the lower gallery for cocktail hour. The reception was breathtaking and exquisite, from the romantic sweetheart table to the amazing food. All of the artwork made the room glow with warmth. Ivan put his special touch on every aspect and made sure the night went smoothly.

My guests have called, texted, and emailed raving about everything, including the stemware, hors d’oeuvres, soup, dinner, sculptures, dance floor, ceremony space, friendliness of the staff, and the uniqueness of the venue. We put a lot of trust in Ivan and Dawn and they exceeded our expectations.

Let me say that we could not have picked a better place to get married. From the moment we walked into the venue we were sold. And this continued when we realized the menu flexibility and the amazing dedication that Dawn and Ivan had for the job.

We chose the cocktail hour featuring with an antipasta station and passed hors d'oureves, followed by two butlered tapas and two stations for dinner. (The grilled cheese and short rib on polenta was a HIT)

Colleen ran the event that night and was perfect. She was friendly along with Ivan and Chris made the evening go super smooth. Even with a little medical emergency that the majority of the guests never realized!

We were married in their new chapel. And everyone said that is was beautiful and unique like the rest of the venue. I wish I could remmeber more but I was so overwhelmed.

The evening went great. We have received so many emails, pictures, texts that we has the best, most fun, most organized wedding ever in one of the best venues they had ever seen.

I want to please let Brides know to put your even in their hands. Check in with questions but Ivan and Dawn are professionals and they want your even to go as planned. They are amazing...seriously.

We were recently married at the venue in late April with our 120 guests. Our experience with Ivan and Dawn in working out the endless details of our big day was very smooth. We loved that the majority of items needed for our big day were included in our package with the exception of alcohol. One of the things that attracted us to Artesano was the unique menu options, and we came away from our tasting very impressed. More importantly, our guests loved the food and couldn't stop talking about it. We opted for a cocktail hour featuring a sushi station and passed hors d'oureves, followed by two butlered tapas and two stations for dinner.

Walking into the ceremony was a magical experience as the room was lit by candlelight and felt very intimate. After the ceremony Colleen, the day of captain, made sure her team had every detail covered. From servers to bartenders, we were very impressed by the staff. Colleen was particularly impressive and made all of the work seem effortless, even though it clearly was not.

The setting speaks for itself - the collection of iron artwork on the walls and throughout the space provide great character leaving a limited need for other decorative elements. The beautiful weather also allowed our guests to use the courtyard, which was ideal for our cocktail hour.

Ultimately, we wanted a unique wedding experience with great food, and Artesano delivered on all counts.

This is, by far, the best place to get married in Philadelphia! Artesano was beyond all of our dreams! We had our ceremony and reception here and both were amazing and beautifully done.

The ceremony was on the lower level, dimly lit with hundreds of candles. The reception was in the gorgeous upper level set up tapas/cocktail style. They arranged the venue perfectly with a flowing feel that worked perfectly. No detail was overlooked, from the hundreds of candles, the layout, waitstaff, bar staff...it literally was amazing! Oh, and the food, to die for! My husband is a total "foodie" and refused to even consider a typical sit down dinner with the same old steak and chicken options. We had the most unbelievable selection of food. Everyone was commenting on how delishous it all was.

If you are looking for a elegant yet unique wedding site in the Philly area, you need to check out this place. Also, we had guests stay in center city and had two charter busses to get everyone to the venue. It worked perfectly and wasn't as issue at all. They were wonderful to work with and made our day so memorable.

If you want a unique venue with excellent food that will leave your guests talking, you have to check out Manayunk's hidden gem, Artesano Iron Works! The minute I walked in I knew it was our place and that we had to book. Ivan and Geo made the planning process easy and are just wonderful!

The iron pieces throughout the facility are gorgeous and each room has it's own style. The ceremony space was recently updated with a marble floor, the outside patio gives you a city feel, the cocktail space inside is beautiful with the lighting they provide and upstairs is the icing on the cake! The event managers for the night were amazing and were excellent at keeping us on track with where we needed to be and unlike other couples I've talked to, we ate at our wedding! Which brings me to the food...Chef Kelly and her team are awesome. Most wedding food is average, Artesano's food is restaurant worthy and so good! The tasting was unbelievable. Come with an appetite because you get to sample most of your appetizers and a full plate with a portion of each entree you pick, even the vegetarian option was delicious!

In your package Artesano includes parking for your guests across the street, the chairs/tables/linens, candles and large green foliage throughout the dining/dancing area with accent furniture/decor, lighting, taxes and of course all the food and non- alcoholic beverages. You bring your own alcohol which is nice so you can pick and choose which brands you want and where we purchased everything we were able to return what we didn't use. For dessert you can pick mini desserts or a cake from Bredenbeck's in Chestnut Hill, however the included cake for your package is only for a certain number of people so make sure you clarify this with Artesano.

Artesano is the most unique venue/ceremony space we found. From the reclaimed garage into a ceremony space to fit 150 people you still have the option of wedding outside in their court yard. After our wedding we we able to take a few minutes to ourselves while our guests were promptly served cocktails and butler/stationed appetizers. There is so much to look at to keep the guest occupied because they are originally an art gallery. I had NOTHING to worry about. My now husband had someone checking on him constantly feeding him, I had a wonderful girl that checked in on me. They couldn't have done a better job, they had all the plans I didn't have to think. My advise to all brides, find your venue and let them do their job, if you have the confidence in them it comes out wonderfully... and my wedding was the best day of my life. Not to mention the biggest party of a life time! Thank you!

To be candid, when we first booked Artesano, we were working with a staff member who was not as responsive or helpful as we would like. Since she is no longer with the venue and the majority of our issues stemmed from her - they aren't even worth going into!

The home stretch was handled entirely by Geo (event planner) and Ivan (owner) and they were absolutely amazing - handled everything and went the extra mile to confirm details with vendors and even supplying last minute items we forgot. They followed through on every request we had. In most cases, it would be jarring to hear the week before your wedding that a new event planner will be taking the reigns. But with Geo, we had no doubts that the event would still go smoothly. And we were right! Geo immediately was responsive, helpful, and took the initiative to handle everything so that we could relax and enjoy the day.

Ivan worked with us so closely to coordinate every detail. The greatest compliment we got from guests was that our wedding felt so like us. Artesano was more than a backdrop, but a beautiful space to let our personalities shine.

Everything was great! The food, the look, the event flow, and of course - the staff! I can't believe how seamless and easy they made it all look!

From two former event planners, we had high expectations. Artesano exceeded them all. We couldn't have asked for a better way to start our marriage!

Oh, spring for the extra hour. The day flies and it's worth it! Enjoy!

Artesano Iron Works is an AMAZING space for a wedding!! We had our ceremony on the lower level and reception on the upper level. During the planning process, Dawn was extremely responsive to answer any questions we had. We were able to visit the gallery at any time during the planning process, during their business hours. The gallery is absolutely beautiful and the art is able to be moved to accommodate the type of reception you like.

During the days leading up to the event there was some confusion pertaining to parking and candles for the event. My suggestion is to finalize all parking issues in advance, as parking passes are required to give to your guests, which we did not find out until 2 days prior. Also, the gallery likes to use specific candles for their beautiful candlelabras and chandeliers. Finalize these details in advance also!

Even with the minor parking and candle issue, the gallery owners were both present the night of the wedding to assure everything ran smoothly and it was PERFECT!!!

We couldn't have chosen a better location for our winter wedding! This Gallery is simply amazing. Everything from the decor, to the layout, to the location (In Manayunk) was MAGNIFICENT! It's stylish, unique, swanky, and elegant. If you are into the typical banquet hall type of wedding, this is NOT the place for you! This place has far too much character and is for people who clearly understand and value STYLE.

Ivan and his team are polished professionals. They have been in this business for quite some time and have impeccable taste. I would highly recommend this venue for couples who are looking for a wedding venue that will WOW your guests and leave a lasting impression. Certainly one of the best venues I've ever seen!

Artesano is wonderful

My fiance and I loved Artesano from the moment we walked in. The space is beautiful and they recently renovated to make it even more amazing. We have had to cancel our wedding due to COVID but Ivan and Talia were extremely understanding and accommodating to our situation and we did not have any issues in canceling. If it were not for COVID, we know we would have had a beautiful wedding day at Artesano. Definitely recommend them to any couple looking for a Philly Wedding!

This was the first and only venue we looked at. Right off the bat we fell in love with the artwork and natural interior design. What also made this a simple choice was that the ceremony, reception, catering, wedding cake/desserts, etc were all included and under one roof. I would agree with previous reviews that springing for an extra hour is recommended. You find yourself and your guests not wanting to leave this beautiful space.

Throughout our engagement, construction was in progress at Artesano. At first, classic bride thoughts of unfinished spaces flashed through my head, but everything was absolutely stunning. You'd never know that updates were still in progress up to our wedding day. I can't wait to see the newest updates next season. Big things in store for this already beautiful venue!

The food was spectacular! Rarely do you go to a wedding a have a perfectly cooked, steaming hot meal. Artesano makes it happen. The cake and desserts were out of this world, and the appetizers were perfect.

The staff was amazing down to the servers, bartenders, security, and our amazing planners Dawn and Geo. Dawn helped us through the beginning stages. When she moved on to another chapter of her career, Geo stepped in and took our wedding to a whole other level. He had everything under control, and I mean everything. When we had difficulty with a vendor, Geo was there to support and offer guidance. I found myself saying, "how do you ----" "where are the -----". He had an answer for everything. He was calm, encouraging, and overall an experienced and extremely talented event planner.

Overall, our experience with Artesano was absolutely wonderful. Our guests loved the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, all of which were amplified by the incredible look the space offers. We wanted the opposite of the traditional ballroom event and this was exactly that. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Artesano is a unique venue, so we want to give you a full picture of what we experienced and what you might expect.

PLANNING: Megan and the Artesano staff were exceptional during all of our planning. Megan was a terrific planner from the moment we met her through the wedding night. She was extremely responsive, paid close attention to every detail, and made sure that our needs were met. All of our meetings and online communications leading up to the wedding day made us confident that everything would be as perfect as possible.

APPEARANCE: We cannot express how incredible this space is. The art that covers the walls, the unique furniture, the extra little touches (Artesano actually added some beautiful flowers and other details for us without charge) made every moment fun and interesting. Plus, every single picture looks stunning.

FOOD: The food...oh the food! We are obviously biased, but this was the best wedding food we have ever had. The passed appetizers, food stations, the salad, entrees, and desserts, were just unbelievably good. Trays of our signature cocktails awaited guests as the left the ceremony room. The bartenders served everyone quickly. Everything about the food and drink was spot on.

I love artesano. The one thing wouldn't let me in early enough for my pictures to be taken and they were a little pricey for the rental fee ( I had an outside caterer). Overall, they were easy to work with and I loved the venue for my wedding day.

Artesano was exactly what we were looking for - a unique wedding venue that wasn't your typical hotel ballroom. The space is amazing. Everytime I visit I fall more in love with it. The two floors worked out great - we had our coctail hour downstairs and the dinner and dancing upstairs. The incredible art work, gorgeous floors and exposed beams meant we didn't need to do much to decorate - the space itself was enough. Could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our reception.

My husband and I were just married at Artesano. Please understand why I'm giving it only 3 stars. The venue is amazing and Geo was fantastic. Extremely pleasurable to work with and handled everything with the utmost professionalism. Food was superb. The renovations to the venue made it absolutely gorgeous. However, there were some major things that occurred which is why I'm giving it only 3 stars. Ivan, the co-owner was difficult to work and nickeled and dimed us for everything. We had paid an additional $500 to have the doors open early - mind you, they only leave 15 minutes for guests to get into the ceremony space. It happened to snow that day and Ivan still wouldn't let people in early (even though we had paid). Ivan was belittling to me when I said that I did not like the cake samples provided by Bredenbeck's bakery (whom they contract with). We managed to get a different cake but still had to pay for it ourselves. To top it off, we weren't even served the cake. We had to ask. Even the guests noticed that Ivan was really not a nice person. They commented that the servers working there looked nervous. We overheard Ivan, again, being disparaging to our MC (the DJ company was recommended by Artesano so we knew they had been there before). Things got so tense throughout the night that my husband even started to pour Ivan drinks to diffuse the situation.

I will start with the good: my venue contact, Geo, was absolutely amazing. He was so responsive and helpful, and always available to answer any questions. (He has since left the business.) The venue is absolutely gorgeous; we got so many compliments on how unique and beautiful it was. And the food was honestly the best catered food I've ever had in my life (and I work in events). We got married six months ago and people are *still* talking about how good the food was. However, the owner was an absolute nightmare to deal with. He was rude throughout the entire planning process; he SCREAMED at my 90 year old grandmother the day of the wedding when she arrived before they were "ready" (45 minutes before the ceremony, and she was just sitting in the ceremony space minding her business - on a 105 degree day in July). His staff broke one of my Lenox toasting flutes and never told me about it - I didn't find out about it until I got home and was unpacking them, and there was only one in the box. When I called and asked him what happened, he said "oh, yeah, the servers broke one. That happens a lot. This is why you shouldn't bring your own toasting flutes to the wedding." (um, what?) He did end up replacing it eventually, after months and months of me calling and asking him to do so. I caught him also screaming at my venue coordinator, Geo, during the wedding, and Geo ended up quitting the next day. Artesano is a beautiful venue, but Ivan is really a jerk and I'm not sure I would choose to work with him again, especially now that Geo is gone.

I would stongley not recommend this venue, it was unorganized! Ivan has a sharp tongue and is extremely opinionated, his unwillingness to cooperate floored me!
Ceremony and reception for 170 people, only 40 chairs were set for guests (because Ivan suggested that was best ) the rest of the guests stood( mind you with coats on) So I recommend do not have ceremony here if you are condsidering this venue.
Cocktail hour was great food very good.
Dinner hour with stations, food good served slightly warmed, but again for the dollar value????
Guests had a great time dancing, however, on the dance floor is a slight drop a ledge that you are not aware of, I and three guests almost fall, I can not believe someone has not had an injury resulting from this just like Ivan not to care!
All in all I am trying to say yes its a hip place, in a hip town, but please as a parent for the money that you are paying for this venue it lacks the organization you would like for your affair.
The saving grace is that our guests had a great time....no thanks to Ivan
