Traditional Almond Wedding Cake and Almond Frosting so delicious

My son got married on a river on a rock in Gatlinburg. We wanted a simple wedding cake I could put what a wanted on it for my son and daughter in law Arriel. My son loves penguins and my daughter in law was named after the Little Mermaid. The cake was priced so reasonable. Art of Cakes were so helpful and designed the cake with a mountain, sky, tree scene around the whole cake. We just had a small family dinner reception after at a steakhouse in Gatlinburg. The cake was so fresh and delicious, I even brought containers for them and family members to take with them. It was so delicious that we went back another trip and picked up a birthday cake with the almond flavor including the buttercream icing. 🍰💕🎂 My son and daughter in law took it with them on their Honeymoon to the beach. We needed a cake fast and could not find anyone close by with beautiful wedding cakes. Art of Cakes did it for us.

Amazing service

We had a destination wedding on a cabin property in Tennessee. Living in North Georgia I wasn't sure what bakeries delivered if any did. ( being that the wedding was Thanksgiving week and I had specific wants I contacted a few bakeries on Wedding Wire. )
Art of cakes looked a few of my pics that I wanted quoted me and I gave a deposit. I was able to contact them with questions about a ything related to my cake size time of pick up flavors and dietary needs.
Half the family is gluten free and the other half was fine.
We ordered a gluten free grooms cake and a red velvet and butter cream 2 tier cake. They were both good. The red velvet was AMAZING !!! Moist smooth so yummy. I've only tasted one better than theirs and that was made by someone I know.

Note... I added the gum paste flowers to the 2 tier along with topper and we added a flower petal to the football cake being my ring bearer decided to taste the fondant while we were getting ready. Lol 3 year old boys will be boys it didn't ruin the day or the cake.
We have saved the top layer for our anniversary. I cannot wait to have the bite!! So yummy

Simply the best!

Art of Cakes did an amazing job in bringing our vision to life! They even went as far as learning a new technique with icing to get the look we wanted! The cake was so good that there was nothing left!! We will always use them for all of our special occasions in the future!

The best tasting cupcakes and cakes

I think the cupcakes we ordered from Art of Cakes were our guest's favorite part of the day. Our cake and the cupcakes were SO AMAZING. Art of Cakes has so many flavors to choose from, it was hard to pick just a few. I so recommend Art of Cakes!

Loved our Cakes

I absolutely was please with our cakes. I had one for my bridal shower which was a beautiful Barbie doll bride cake. I had always wanted a Barbie doll cake when I was little and my fiancé surprised me with one for my bridal party. She was beautiful and tasted amazing. Our wedding cake was just perfect! They did a great job and were super easy and friendly even when we made changes. I had butterflies place around the wedding venue and Art of Cakes even made a fondant butterfly for the top of our cake. The cake was delicious! We had blueberry, wedding vanilla, and blackberry layers. Everyone still talks about how beautiful and yummy our cake was at our wedding. I will definitely use them again for other events or birthdays. I stopped in and had banana split cupcake. I was really good too. Nice and soft and not overly sweet icing.

Delicious and great to work with

Art of Cakes provided cupcakes in Strawberry Champagne, Chocolate, and Almond Orange for our wedding. They were all delicious and very pretty. The cupcakes were moist and soft and each had a great flavor. Art of Cakes was willing to use cupcake liners I sent them and put cupcakes in wrappers I had placed at the venue. They also decorated our cake topper with a simple art deco design in exactly the color I wanted to match our venue and wedding colors perfectly. Erin Holloway at Art of Cakes was great to work with to help get these details in order and help with any changes to our order as we got a better head count.

Delicious and Beautiful!

Erin at Art of Cakes totally nailed our wedding cake! It was one of the most delicious cakes I have literally ever had. We got the traditional white wedding almond with buttercream frosting and had her do a semi frosted, nude cake. It was identical to pictures I sent her and she was very prompt in her email responses about what I wanted. I highly recommend Art of Cakes!

Delicious and Beautiful!

Art of Cakes was one of my favorite vendors! They were extremely responsive, emailing me back right away when I first inquired, and when I had questions and changes closer to our wedding day. The ladies there were always very helpful and kind. The cake tasting is very generous, we got to try lots of flavors and they were all delicious, and their buttercream frosting is to die for. On our wedding day everything went perfectly with no issues or delays. The cake was exactly as we wanted it, and we had multiple guests tell us how delicious our cake was! Love love love art of cakes bakery and hope to return for anniversary cakes in the future. I would absolutely recommend them to every Bride in the knoxville/east tennessee area!

Best Tasting Desserts!

We hired Art of Cakes for my June 7, 2019 wedding, and everyone was so impressed with the taste and quality of all of the desserts. We ordered cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and our wedding cake, and all of it was amazing. It has to be the best bakery around. We received so many compliments even eating the leftovers several days after the wedding. Despite several days having passed, each dessert tasted just as fresh as it did on the day it was made. All of the desserts had the perfect texture, and our wedding cake looked so elegant and beautiful even being of a simpler design. Erin was so patient working with me. You will be doing yourself and your event guests as huge favor by providing them with Art of Cakes desserts.

Stunning Cake!

Art of Cakes did a wonderful job with our wedding cake! The cake looked exactly like the picture that I showed them of what I wanted and the cake was the best tasting cake I have ever had! They were also very quick to respond to my emails. I will definitely be using them again for other events!

Beautiful and Delicious Cake

The Art of Cakes Bakery was fantastic. They made our wedding cake look amazing. They were able to put together the look I wanted from only reference photos and written description as we planned our wedding from afar. We weren't able to do a tasting beforehand but we were not disappointed. The classic cake flavor of Almond is delicious! We also had a chocolate sheet cake that was fantastic. We received many compliments on our cake for days after the wedding! I would highly recommend the Art of Cakes!

Art of Cakes is absolutely amazing! We ordered 240 mini cupcakes in 8 different flavors with a 2 tier cake as well. Everything turned out PERFECT. The guests raved about the cupcakes. The banana pudding and blackberry vanilla bean cupcakes were favorites by far, but all the flavors were perfect. They delivered everything and set up the whole cake table beautifully, as well. I would absolutely recommend Art of Cakes for any event!

Guests are still raving that it was the best wedding cake they ever had. It was beautiful and delicious. Erin communicates very well through email which made her so easy to work with. She handled so much beyond what I probably will ever even realize, but I guess that is the point.. to hire vendors who make the bride's job easier. Thank you Art of Cakes. We will be by the bakery for years to come. Every anniversary we are going to come out for sure!!

Erin and her employees (one of which is her daughter) did an AMAZING job on my wedding cake AND the grooms cake! I went in to the consultation not knowing what I wanted except for the colors being used. I showed her a picture of what I kind of liked, and she did with it. The grooms cake was a 3-D R2-D2 ffrom Star Wars. My husband LOVED it!
Our guests kept telling us even the days after the wedding about how delicious the cakes were!

Art of Cakes made my bridal cake and groom's cake for my wedding on July 7, 2017. When I first started searching for cakes, I really wasn't sure where to start. I knew that picking a bakery for my wedding would be a difficult task because my mother and grandmother were cake decorators for a long time. And on top of that, I can be a very picky cake eater (not only thanks to my family ties with cakes) because I am very sensitive to sugar; too much can upset my stomach. So after my mom and I looked at reviews for many places, we decided to squeeze into Art of Cakes' shop to try out some of their cupcakes. I was amazed at the variety of flavors that they had! I have never seen so many options before and was even more astounding at their amazing prices! I decided to try their Strawberry Cupcake and my mom got a Salted Caramel Cupcake. And after one bite, we were in love! We couldn't believe how moist and flavorful the cake was. We especially loved their whipped buttercream icing, which was so unique to us. We just loved the texture! But the very best part to me was that it was so flavorful and DID NOT have such a strong, artificial sugary taste. It was completely natural and delicious! After that, I knew that I had to have their cake at my wedding, so we booked a tasting, decided on flavors, and planned out the cake of my dreams. They did such a fantastic job and were very responsive and accommodating to all of our requests. And their pricing was so reasonable! Everyone talked about the cake all night long (and even through the next week)! I highly recommend Art of Cakes for any occasion! And trust me, I will be back for more!!!

We did cupcakes from Art of Cakes for our Maryville wedding. We had 5 flavors: honey cream cheese, german chocolate, wedding cake, lemon blueberry, and salted caramel. All were delicious and were ready to go by the reception. Highly recommend!

Erin provided the cake (and a few cupcakes for the kiddos!) for our wedding at RT Lodge. We were planning from Nashville so a traditional tasting wasn't an option but she boxed up some samples that I grabbed en route from Nashville to Asheville so my husband and I could do a tasting. Ultimately, we opted to go a more personal route and asked Erin if she could do a hummingbird cake - a childhood favorite of mine. She even used the same recipe my dad always used! The cake was moist and delicious and looked exactly as we'd hoped - a modern 3-tier semi-naked cake. The little ones loved the chocolate cupcakes, too. Highly recommend!

So I'm not a big fan of cake, but my mom loves it. So as a gesture of wedding planning goodwill to her, I decided to do a fake wedding cake (with a real top layer for the cake cutting) and instead I selected 9 of their dessert cakes so we had an entire table of cakes. It was one of the biggest hits of the whole wedding. People couldn't stop talking about how good and impressive all 9 cakes were. Additionally my florist left flowers and greenery behind for the fake 3 tier wedding cake and Art of Cakes did a wonderful job of putting it on the cake. All in all they were nice, easy to work with, and delivered an exceptional product.

Art of Cakes was wonderful to work with! They created a huge (!!) custom pink armadillo cake for my bridal show and it was a hit. (Hello steel magnolias!) They also created a replica of my husbands grandfathers truck with our puppy in the back- it was so perfect and identical to the pictures I gave them! He was so surprised and I have not seen anything more realistic! They were awesome to work with and will be my go to for custom cakes!

I think our cake was the best cake I've ever had at a wedding. The cake was exactly how I wanted it and we received so many compliments on it. It tasted amazing, and it looked so perfect. Erin was super easy to work with and so responsive with emails. We really enjoyed working with them!!

Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful!! They used plenty of dowel rods to make sure the cake would not fall and the cake tasted delicious! I highly recommend!! Art of Cakes really knows what they're doing!

The most phenomenal cakes I've ever had! Every guest was blown away by the taste of these cakes and the decorating was gorgeous as well. I ordered two cakes with each being a different flavor, one for birthday and one for graduation, and they were both amazing! I will be ordering all cakes/cookies from Art of Cakes going forward! This is the very first party I've ever had where there was not one single slice of cake left over!

Art of Cakes is the best bakery around! My husband and I went to them asking for a cookie cake instead of a traditional wedding cake. Erin immediately sent a photo of something they could do and we loved it! We later asked them to add on a grooms cake so guests could have a selection of desserts. Both the cookie cake and grooms cake were perfect! They looked and tasted amazing!

The Art of Cakes bakery was recommended to me by my photographer. We arranged a tasting and found Erin to be very professional and accommodating. They were in the process of opening their new shop. I am sure it was a very busy time for them. Not only did we feel welcome, but we never felt rushed. The tasting was wonderful. The cupcakes were superb!! We had tried another bakery and they were okay, but not even a close second to The Art of Cakes! We had a picture of what we wanted and the colors we wanted. The cupcakes turned out perfect! Many of our guests commented that they were the best cupcakes they had ever had and my wife and I agreed!! They come highly recommended by us and all of our wedding guests!

Art of Cakes is the best bakery for cakes in the Knoxville area for many reasons. 1.) Their cakes are delicious. 2.) The customer service (specifically Erin) is above all others. She is prompt in answering e-mails and is very friendly when she does! 3.) They have the most options of flavors! 4.) Every single cake I have had has been delicious!

I have had two celebration cakes and two side cakes for my wedding. Their rosette garden cakes are beautiful and are priced extremely well. I had so many compliments on each cake I have had from Art of Cakes! I would 100% recommend Art of Cakes to any couple searching for a wedding cake baker!

These ladies from Art of Cakes were amazing and are truly some of the most talented in this area, not to mention they make some really tasty cake flavors! Our wedding cake and grooms cake were custom designs and and they exceeded my expectations on that! We met with Art of Cakes after our first vendor fell through a little over a month before our wedding. They were great and the process was super easy! I emailed them some pictures and ordered extra fresh flowers from my florist for the cake and let them decorate the cake the day of the wedding. The cake was perfect and so beautiful! When looking for a bakery to get our wedding cake from, we weren't looking for anything fancy - just a small, three-tier cake with simple lace - but it was still important to us that we find a place that would do that well. The ladies at Art of Cakes did! Our cake was absolutely beautiful, and was exactly what I had imagined. The cake was also delivered early in the day, so that was one less thing to worry about as the day got started. All in all, I loved working with this bakery.

Everyone loved our beautiful cake! It tasted amazing and we couldn't have been happier! The only thing was that we were supposed to have peanutbutter cake in 2 of the layers, but they used vanilla instead. It actually worked out better, because our guests loved the vanilla with the cream cheese butter cream. (My email was also sending their messages to the junk folder and they had a hard time contacting me, so they did awesone under the circumstances) We will use these guys for all of our future cake needs!

I love the ladies at Art of Cakes! Planning my wedding long distance was stressful, but we were able to communicate with Art of Cakes via email, send them pictures of cakes for inspiration via Pinterest, and were even able to schedule a cake-tasting rather last minute the week after New Year's when we happened to be in town to visit with family. They were endlessly helpful and willing to work with my fairly specific goal of NOT having a cookie-cutter cake design, but instead worked to put together a cake that was absolutely unique for my wedding. I found a picture of a cake that I loved on Pinterest and took it into Art of Cakes hoping they could get the cake at least similar to the picture. They nailed it. It was indentical! And they did it with buttercream frosting and not fondant. Amazing! The cake was perfect and delish! VERY reasonably priced too.

We used Art of Cakes for our wedding and were absolutely amazed. Every other vendor in our area either wanted us to pay for our cake before we did any tasting or did not even offer one. Art of Cakes scheduled us immediately and offered several flavors for us to try. We decided on Chocolate and Butter Vanilla with a cream cheese icing for our flavors and it tasted amazing. Even though I'm biased, it was the most beautiful and elegant wedding cake I have ever seen. Every phone call and email were answered immediately and coordinating everything was a breeze. Many said that it was the best cake they had ever tasted...bar none! My only regret was that I didn't order a bigger cake because we only had the top layer left, which we took home to freeze for our 1st anniversary. I only got a small slice, and my husband only got a bite, and he even LOVED it, which was very unusual for him. They provided samples for both my fiance and I and offered to make more if we wanted to try other flavors. The raspberry and vanilla are incredible! Art of Cakes did a custom Graduation Cake for my wife upon graduating from Nursing School. I wanted the cake to look professional and customized into my own Nursing theme. Art Of Cakes did an outstanding job and the cake was delicious! I highly recommend this company!

The Art of Cakes is amazing, not only was the cake more beautiful that we imagined, but it tasted wonderful too! We celebrated my in-law's 50th anniversary and it was the perfect centerpiece for the event! Our cake was carmel with buttercream frosting.. Yum! Now my sister-in-law is getting married and will Definately be doing business there! Thanks so much for the perfect cake!!

These ladies were great to work with. I sent them my ideas and they did a great job recreating them. They also helped us with flavor choices and samples as well as ideas. All and all it was a great experience. If I ever need a future cake I know where I will be going!

Super easy to work with including the ordering process, responsiveness, billing and setting up delivery. The cakes and cupcakes were not only delivered promptly and in pristine condition but the attention to detail is out of this world. So much talent these girls have, I don't believe there is anything they couldn't create. Then when you actually taste them, WOW. The chocolate hazelnut is the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. Five stars!

The cake was not only beautiful but DELICIOUS! My guests wanted to know where I got it!!! They were so great to work with...quick to respond!!! HIGHLY recommend!

They were absolutely wonderful to work with and really helped my vision become a reality. Their prices were competitive with other vendors in the area, and the cake tasted amazing. I would highly recommend them for your event, and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Wonderful cake for my daughter's wedding! We had many compliments on it! I would highly recommend Art of Cakes! They did an awesome job...The cake was delicious, beautiful and the service impeccable! Can't say enough good things about them!
