The uplighting truly transformed the room and elevated the entire atmosphere. Our dance floor stayed packed all night, which says everything about how great the music and vibes were. Shawn and Tony were absolutely fantastic. We’re so grateful for everything they did to make our day unforgettable.

I was a bridesmaid at a wedding this past weekend and was on the dance floor all night! At first they were set up inside the venue but was able to move their whole set up outside to the dance floor! Very accommodating to where we all wanted to dance! Song mixes were so much fun! Kept my 5year old niece (the flower girl) on the dance floor all night long! Played songs she’s familiar with and took song requests!
I’m not engaged yet but will be keeping in my back pocket to hire for my wedding in the future!

Where do I even start? Truly, from our initial conversation with Joe, to setting up our detailed itinerary with Johnsie, this group will ensure that ALL the details are covered. With the wedding now behind us, I have to give major credit to Johnsie and Ava for how smooth the day went. We transitioned from outdoor, to indoor (then back outdoors) between the ceremony and reception. They quickly made those adjustments without sacrificing sound quality & lighting too! Johnsie in particular went above and beyond - he kept in touch throughout the planning process, made sure we stuck to the timeline, and frequently checked in on us throughout the night to make sure we were having a great time. He really understood what we wanted for our wedding. If we had a question, he was so responsive and so helpful. He was so kind and offered fantastic advice. You’d make a mistake not choosing Arrested Sounds
Joe and Arrested Sounds was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a DJ. I was the groom that Joe DJ’d on August 9, 2025 wedding. We went through about four or five different DJ vendors, but Joe is the most personal and the best option we could ask for. every request we’ve ever asked for was immediately taken care of by Joe and he gave us amazing input and solutions to any problems that arose. He was extremely professional, detailed oriented, quick responses, and just a wonderful human! I would suggest Arrested Sounds to anyone planning anything in the future as this is probably the best DJ company I’ve seen or hired! I recommend paying extra for the Photo Booth as well as Joe himself as that was the highlight of our event as Joe just absolutely nailed every song choice, transition, and kept the party going to the very last second. Most of our guest never left the dance floor thanks to Joe! I can think of no one better to DJ than Joe himself and no better company to DJ your event then Arrested Sounds!

We cannot say enough good things about Arrested Sounds and DJ Tony! From the first consultation to the last dance, they were professional, fun, and completely in tune with the vibe we wanted. The music selection was perfect — they read the crowd effortlessly and kept the dance floor packed all night.
They seamlessly blended our must-play list with guest requests and spontaneous moments, making the whole night feel magical and completely us. The sound quality was crystal clear, transitions were smooth, and their energy was contagious.
Our guests are still raving about how fun the reception was, and we owe so much of that to the DJ. If you're looking for someone to bring your wedding to life with incredible music and great vibes, this is the one. 100% recommend!

DJ Tony: The man, the myth, the legend.
Listen. I don’t know what kind of deal DJ Tony made with the universe, but this man had every single person at my best friend’s wedding dancing like their lives depended on it.
He didn’t just play music—he summoned a vibe. One minute we were wiping tears, the next we were throwing it back like rent was due.
AND HE WAS FUNNY?? Like, genuinely funny. Dropping jokes between tracks, hyping people up, keeping the energy high without ever being cringe (a rare skill, tbh).
He kept the night flowing so smoothly it felt like a dream sequence. The transitions were seamless, the mood never dipped, and somehow he got everyone, yes, everyone, on the dance floor. Even people who claim they “don’t dance.” Lies. DJ Tony made them believers.
We loved him. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Honestly, if he started a cult, we’d probably join. Book DJ Tony before he gets snatched up by Coachella or something.

Tony From arrested Sounds was our DJ for our wedding. He made the planning process so easy and fun for both My Wife and I! I could not recommend him more! Not only were his responce times to our questions quick and helpful but he also took care of us at the wedding, always asking how everything was. Working with Joe and Tony is like working with two cool uncles you didn't know you had who also DJ, MC, and photograph your night perfectly. Everything from the introduction meetings to the final run of show plans, Joe and Tony have it all going on. No need for a event coordinator with these two professionals. The two gentlemen DJs exceeded our expectations for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception. They were readily available to address any questions or concerns throughout the entire process. Joe and Tony played great music, and at all times were attentive to the needs of the Bride, Groom, and Family. They were always adressing the night's events with a personal aspect which I especially liked. Their lighting added to the consistent fun and high energy, Everyone had such a great time! Arrested Sounds was absolutely incredible at our wedding! They had everyone on the dance floor and the set list was amazing. We met with Joe a few times leading up to our reception, and each time he had wonderful ideas and made ours come to life. The communication through the entire process was consistent, and on the day of there wasn't a single thing I had to worry about. On top of the great music and lighting, Joe and Tony took pictures during party time that were spectacular! We love having those candid moments captured with all our friends and family!

The DJ (Joe) was great. I don't typically get out on the dance floor and show my amazing dance moves, even with a little liquid courage, but he had me out there nonstop digging deep in my arsenal of moves. Everything about the night was so lively, that you never wanted to get off the dance floor. I would recommend Joe be your guy and I would recommend him to be the DJ for my brother's future wedding.

I am the mother of the bride I recommend arrested sounds they were so professional went above and beyond anything I had expected they first started with a FaceTime meeting with my daughter myself and the maid of honorFrom there they met with my daughter and my son-in-law and went over everything that they wanted a month before the wedding they had another meeting to go over details to make sure everything that both the bride and the groom wanted what happened the day of the wedding they arrived around 2 PM to set up,around 530 he came and gather the wedding parties together put them in the line in order who would go first to be announced,and the I play list was amazing he played amazing music during cocktail hour he announce the wedding party made jokes was just the perfect host. And just when you think there’s nothing else he could amaze me at and he went and pulled out a camera and snap pictures throughout the night mind you we had a photographer our photographer left after dinner so they were amazing as well but when I tell you he snap pictures from 7 o’clock till 11 o’clock all while he continue to play the music that went on all the way till 11 o’clock at night he didn’t have to do all these extra things that were never talked about he just did it on his own he did videos we didn’t have a video photographer I wish we did and guess what because of him we did I am sitting here crying wricing this right now because this man went above and beyond see a lot of you may think that you’re just hiring a DJ for your special day this man is so much more than a DJ this man is a police officer a member of our community and this man’s business it’s so much more he’s making memories for families! and at the end of the day when our love ones pass this is all we haveOur memories and he captured that in our hearts and with pictures and videos for us I lost my mom A few years ago along with my brother and my sister this year I lost a nephew and all we have left her pictures and our memories so thanks to Arrested sounds! we were given the best memories for the rest of our lives and he captured all that on videos and pictures as well!he took picturesOf the speeches at the start of the wedding that we knew nothing of, and videos he is spectacular at what he does please believe me if you’re looking for a DJ he’s so much more than that if you higher arrested sounds I promise you you will not regret it this was one of the best things we spent our money on!and I think he’s fare in price.Arrested sounds Thank you with all my heart and soul you are Amazing with love mom of the bride of Beverly and Casey wedding p.s I have another daughter getting married next October you will be hearing from me soon

Arrested sounds made me and my wife's day even more special than it already was!! Meeting with Joe for the first time I already knew my wife picked a winner. I mean she did pick me. I used Arrested sounds for our wedding and people were on the dance floor from the second the party started until they started shutting the lights off! Our DJ, Johnsie, was awesome and totally made my vision for ceremony and dinner music come to life!

DJ Tony took in all of our request and geared the music to our wedding specifically to us. He is willing and able to make a playlist with a lot of songs in mind, or with very few songs in mind and provide an awesome experience.

DJ Tony for the win !
Worked with DJ Tony for our recent August wedding. We planned a wedding in 4 months. Regardless, Tony was great with guiding us on the planning process. The timeline helped guide the rest of the day, that went seamless. There was even a last minute change by venue which Tony adjusted to seamlessly. Meetings were timely, as were email/text correspondence's.
Dancing was awesome, the lighting looked great and his MC skills killed it. I’m looking for another reason to use arrested sounds and Tony !

Joe and his team did such an amazing job this past weekend for our wedding. He made sure everything ran smoothly and stress free! We couldn’t have asked for a better dj. He is very crowd orientated so he kept everyone entertained all night! Would definitely recommend!

Nick and Bre’s wedding day!!
Arrested Sounds exceeded all expectations in DJ’ing our son’s wedding! Prior to the big day they had great communication and several meeting sessions to provide details of everything they wanted to incorporate and create a timeline for the reception. Joe is extremely professional and pays attention to all the small details to create an amazing experience for the newlyweds and all the guests!! The Photo Booth was a hit with fun memories for all!
