Beyond incredible band

Around Town was truly incredible! Their organization and planning process make it seamless. They never made me feel like I had a dumb question and were extremely organized. They were beyond incredible during our wedding and we got compliments all night and people reaching out to us for the name of our band afterwards. The dance floor was packed all night because they played only bangers and sound amazing. It was extremely appreciative of the subtle ways the band leader checked in with us throughout the night as well. They nailed the vibe we were looking and hoping for. Nothing beats live music and they are above and beyond the best of the best.

Anthony & Sara DeNinis Wedding

My wife Sara and I truly could not recommend Around Town more highly. They were absolutely phenomenal from beginning to end and completely exceeded every expectation we had.

As someone who has played musical instruments my entire life (piano, violin, and saxophone), I can honestly say I was thoroughly impressed with their musicality. The singers were powerful, polished, and incredibly engaging. The instrumentalists were tight, dynamic, and clearly at the top of their game. Every song sounded intentional and expertly executed. They didn’t just play songs, they performed them, and it was very clear they have worked with each other countless times as a team.

They kept the dance floor packed all night, reading the room perfectly and sustaining an incredible level of energy from start to finish.

Beyond their talent, they were amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process. They were responsive, organized, flexible, and genuinely invested in making sure everything reflected exactly what we envisioned. They made the entire entertainment process seamless and stress-free.

Our venue had a somewhat unconventional room layout (dining room and dancing room were slightly separated by a foyer in between), and they handled it flawlessly. They moved musicians around throughout the night so they could be heard clearly in different spaces, which made a huge difference in maintaining the energy across all the rooms. That level of awareness and adaptability really stood out.

One of the most unforgettable moments of the night was when they surprised us by performing Che La Luna fully in Italian. Our guests went absolutely wild - the room erupted into singing, dancing, and celebrating - it instantly became one of those magical wedding moments, and I'm sure our family and friends will remember it for years. It felt so personal and so special.

If you’re even considering booking Around Town - please do it! They are world-class musicians, consummate professionals, and they made our wedding unforgettable! We truly could not recommend them more!

Fantastic Band!

Around Town Band was fantastic! From the very first time we connected with Adam, he was incredibly helpful. Throughout the entire planning process, his responsiveness, guidance, and support made everything feel seamless. We had so much confidence in our band choice!

We had such a fabulous time dancing the night away! Our guests have also not stopped raving about the fantastic band and a few have even said they have shared the band name with others they know planning a wedding.

The talent among the band is incredible and they all bring such incredible energy! Around Town Band made our wedding such a memorable and fun day! We would highly recommend!

Incredible band at an incredible price!

We had Around Town Band play at our wedding, and they were truly incredible and had a very affordable price (especially compared to some of the other bands we had been looking at). Around Town Band is so talented and high-energy, and they had our wedding guests up and dancing the entire time. From the moment dancing started and throughout the entire night the dance floor was continually packed. The quality of the music was outstanding (we had an 8 piece band at the reception, jazz trio at cocktail hour, and piano player during the ceremony). Throughout the night they played an excellent variety of songs, and I think they did a great job playing a lot of the songs we highlighted that we said we would especially like to hear. They are also willing to learn new songs for special moments, like your first dance, father/daughter dance, etc. In advance of the wedding, they will work closely with you to make sure that everything is prepared and ready to go. The band leader, Adam, was also especially impressive at MC'ing and was able to seamlessly work with our wedding coordinator to make sure the run of show went smoothly. Communication with Adam was always smooth - he was super fast and responsive whenever we had questions. And most importantly, him and his band brought fantastic energy to our wedding--they are such talented musicians, and they made the entire night unforgettable. After our wedding we had multiple guests tell us that they are the best wedding band they had ever heard, and we 100% agree! We could not recommend Around Town Band enough, and we are so thrilled that they played at our wedding! During our wedding planning process I was very stressed about choosing a band (the quality of the music and energy of the band can really make or break a wedding), and I feel like we truly could not have chosen a better band to play at our wedding!

Book this band!

My wife and I booked Around Town's Authority band to play at our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Our guests raved about the band's quality music choices for days after our wedding weekend; many had never seen a dancefloor as full as it was all night from start to finish. We also hired a string trio from Around Town for our ceremony, which perfectly set the mood we were looking for. Adam and his team were very responsive and very easy to work with.

You must hire this band!

I am a wedding professional who works with different vendors all the time.
On my first wedding with Around Town, I was immediately impressed by their professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to help/ensure the couple is happy. Then the wedding day came and they blew me away with their talented musicians and singers, their stage presence, and their flexibility, which, most people don't realize is an invaluable asset that ensures the success of a wedding.
Needless to say, they are now on my preferred vendor's list, and I have had the pleasure of working with them in many other weddings since then.
Elsa, their band leader, is an absolute rock-star, and the entire team form Gabby to Adam, are a gem.
I can't recommend them enough!

As someone who lives for music and dancing, choosing the right band was one of the most important decisions I made for our wedding. The energy, the vibe, the flow of the night—it all starts with the music. And I can honestly say: look no further. The Around Town Band was everything and more.

From the first song to the last, they absolutely nailed it. Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but they also have the rare gift of reading the room and knowing exactly what the crowd wants next. The setlist had a perfect variety, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. My guests are still raving about how amazing the band was—it truly made the night unforgettable.

Company Appreciation Cookout

The Authority Band was Great. They arrived on time, set up and patiently waited until it was time for them to play. The music chosen was a variety of classic hits, pop music and some easy listening. Very entertaining. I would recommend this band for anyone seeking an awesome experience.

Hands down the best band

From the ceremony to the final song of the night, every moment was filled with so much joy, energy, and emotion—thanks to Around Town Entertainment.

The pianist during the ceremony was absolutely wonderful. The music was so beautifully played and set an unforgettable, emotional tone that we—and our guests—will always remember. It truly elevated the moment in a way that words can’t fully describe.

The jazz trio during cocktail hour brought the entire room to life. The vibe was so classy and fun—exactly what we had hoped for—and so many of our guests commented on how much they loved it.

Our grand entrance as a married couple felt just that—grand—thanks to their energy. They made it feel like a true celebration right from the start, and it set the tone for the rest of the night.

We’re especially grateful for the beautiful renditions of our first dances. They brought our songs to life in such a personal and moving way. Those moments were among the most special of the evening, and we’ll never forget them.

Around town was so flexible and was willing to play during y their scheduled break for our traditional money dance. Our guests were so into it, they played 3 songs.

Truly, we’ve lost count of how many guests told us how much they loved the band and the music throughout the night. Several people even told us it was the best wedding they’ve been to in the last 10 years—and we know Around Town had a huge role in making it that memorable.

Around Town Band is so talented!! Highly recommend!!

The Around Town Band was AMAZING! We knew after watching their videos and our initial call with Adam that they were the right choice for our wedding. They were responsive and very accommodating during planning. We had seen them at a friend’s wedding so knew they sounded incredible but we really had a great experience with them throughout the whole process as well. We ended up adding 2 extra musicians to the band and it was always a simple process to update the contract. My husband coordinated singing a song for me with the band during the reception and it went perfectly!! They played all our requested songs and had everyone on the dance floor all night which was exactly what we wanted. We keep getting compliments about how great our band was and how much fun everyone had!!! Strongly recommend Around Town!!!

Entertainment you and your guests won't forget!

From the moment we started talking to the Around Town Band, we knew we were dealing with a group of professionals. We attended a wedding where they played once before, so we already knew they were excellent musicians. Dealing with them directly for our wedding was just as pleasant as listening to their sweet sound.

Adam is an absolute rock star who made us feel taken care of immediately. Once we booked them, they were on top of everything, from making sure we had a song picked out for every special moment to working with us on the more traditional aspects of our ceremony. They sent us a beautifully organized form that helped us get all of our ideas to them in a concise manner.

Periodic e-mail check-ins (nothing excessive!) and just a few reminders ensured us that they were going to be fully prepared for our event and that they never forgot about us. And once the day finally came, they were on-point and present from the beginning to the end of the event.

Oh, and by the way, they completely rock! They’re legitimately excellent musicians and they nailed every song we asked them to play (with a ton more that they knew would keep people moving on the dance floor). Every time we look back at one of our videos, we smile listening to the music and that’s entirely because of the Around Town Band! You seriously won’t regret booking these guys!

A Band Your Guests Wont Stop Talking About!

My husband and I got married on November 9th, 2024 to the glorious backdrop of the music of the Around Town Band. It was clear from our first conversation with Adam that he cares deeply about the whole guest and wedding experience. His musicians arrive early to play music while guests arrive, during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and of course the reception. He doesn’t piecemeal these hours because he sees the whole experience as one package – and it showed.

Working with Adam and his team members Gaby and Rachel was a breeze from the beginning. There was a clear run of show and they made the process of picking songs fun and easy. Ultimately, we let them run with it and respond to the crowd and they NAILED it. Their vocal talent was unbelievable – the RANGE! People kept coming up to me during the wedding and just saying “the BAND!!”. They played intergenerational music, 90s throwbacks, R&B, current pop, it was insane. I definitely recommend adding the horn section – they stole the show! Adam was also so gracious and didn’t mind when I approached him with a question or song request during the event. A huge thank you to the Around Town band for being a part of our special day!

The best wedding band

The After Party Band performed at our wedding and kept the dance floor full all night long! Around Town came highly recommended to us from others who had them at their wedding and from the first call we had with Adam we understood why - they are transparent, organized, easy to work with and patient with answering all of our questions. The band itself was incredible - from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the wedding - there's so much talent and they really made our wedding unforgettable. Best Wedding Band Ever

A vendor we love working with!

Working with Gaby and the band Altitude for Casey and Wes's wedding at City Winery Hudson Valley was such a pleasure. They were extermely responsive during the planning process and got everything I needed (like COI's and team counts) in such a timely manner.

On wedding day they were a dream. Not only did the guests and couple love the music but we were confident in knowing they knew the timeline and didn't need us to follow up a ton during the day, which from a planner is amazing when we have one less moving part to worry about. They provided a great energy and I cannot reccomend them enough.

Amazing band

This band was absolutely fantastic! They really were everything we could have wanted from a wedding band. We had them play custom processional / recessional songs at our ceremony, some music during cocktail hour, our custom first dance song, and of course play during the reception. Their song selection was on point and it was so much fun when they played our special requests.

The band lead was a fantastic emcee throughout the night and helped guide us through the night. We had an afterparty and the band lead was kind enough to help our friend set up his iphone to DJ after they were gone. You don't realize how stressful the day of the wedding can be and how nice it is to not worry at all about the band!

Also, all of the "named" bands were already taken on our date, so we actually hired the band that was comprised from various members of all the named bands. We definitely didn't feel like the quality was affected at all by this!

Your guests will be so tired from dancing all night long

I'm a wedding planner in the area and had the pleasure of working with Around Town Entertainment this past weekend. We see over 20 bands a year through our different weddings and clients. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Planning was a breeze, communication was on point and clear. The days leading up to the wedding they answered emails and questions immediately. The day of was amazing. They were friendly and easy going and worked seamlessly with all the vendors on site. They had everyone up dancing and having a great time all night long. Each musician was phenomenal. I cannot say enough great things about this band. Your wedding or event needs to hire them you won't regret it! People will walk away talking about how great the music as and how tired they are from dancing all night long!

Amazing Band! Smooth Planning Experience!

I've had the pleasure of working with the Around The Town team on several weddings and it is always a great experience. Most recently I worked with Gaby to plan the entertainment for a wedding at Dobbin St in Brooklyn, NY. She was always quick to reply to any of my questions and addressed concerns swiftly with thoughtful solutions. Working with a multi-piece band has a lot of moving parts but the Around The Town team was consistently organized and made it a seamless process. On the day all the musicians were prompt, friendly and enthusiastic. The band leader made sure to check in with me multiple times throughout the night to ensure we were on schedule and things were going well. She had great command over the band and flow of the evening, not to mention her voice was INCREDIBLE! The quality of the vocalists and musicians is stellar. I'm always blown away by the talent that performs at all their weddings. Highly recommend!

Dream wedding band!

Around Town was amazing to work with! We hired the "After Party" band for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice. This band ROCKS!

The Around Town Band played our wedding at Country Meadows Barn near Lake George. Everything was super smooth from our initial conversations, to booking, to prep / special song requests and day-of set up. The band KILLED IT! Highly Recommend!!

Good music at a wedding is SO important & Around Town Entertainment made my entire night/life! I didn’t leave the dance floor all night, they were INCREDIBLE. Every song was better than the last (if that was even possible). The only time they stopped the music was during speeches, to keep the party going. Your wedding reception is really only a few hours, so having nonstop music that goes with the flow of the evening made the night that much better and really elevated the event. Adam and his team were a pleasure to work with. They answered all our questions and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our decision to hire them for our wedding day! Outstanding Wedding Band

We booked Around Town for our daughter's NYC wedding and were absolutely thrilled with them. From my first phone call with Adam, I knew we were in great hands. He is so personable and provides customized details you won't find elsewhere. The band members you select are the band members who perform at your wedding- no surprise changeups. Their communication process was organized and easy...I received a prompt response every time I had a question. We requested a Springsteen song and their rendition of Born to Run was outstanding. Our guests danced all night! Many of them told us afterward that it was the best wedding band they have ever heard! We also had their jazz trio perform during Cocktail Hour and the music was just perfect for that as well. The bride loved them so much that she made a point to compliment them right then. Highly recommend this band!

AMAZING band! Everyone danced, had fun & is still talking about how great the music was!!

Could not recommend Around Town enough!! They were INCREDIBLE at our wedding & with them was so easy. Leading up to our wedding we worked with Adam & Gaby and they were professional, responded to emails quickly, and made the whole planning process extremely easy & organized.
The music was AMAZING at our reception, all of our guests were up dancing and loving the band. We received SO MANY compliments on how fabulous the band was during the reception and have continued to hear from guests about it since the wedding.
For the mother/son dance, the band learned custom lyrics to a song requested by the mother of the groom. The way they played the song was absolutely beautiful.
We also booked a DJ through Around Town for our after party, and it was a JAM!

If you have the opportunity to hire Around Town Entertainment, you will not be sorry! It was the best decision of our entire wedding. Adam and his team are so easy to work with and The Altitude band exceeded all of our expectations. the BEST party starters!!

The Around Town Band was incredible. The dance floor at our wedding was packed the entire night and everyone is still raving about how wonderful they were. They were so easy to work with and very responsive. They even let my brother use their piano to play a special song for me to walk down the aisle. Perfect night and perfect music

We initially booked Around Town Entertainment because Adam and Gaby were so professional and responsive and easy to work with. They helped walk us through the options for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and even got on the phone with me a week before the wedding to finalize how the timeline would work. We booked a pianist for the ceremony, who did an amazing job and was able to learn a song that my sister sang during the ceremony.

We had a jazz trio for cocktail hour which was great. It was a cherry on top that the night of our wedding, Authority Band blew everyone away! We booked a 9 piece band with 3 extra brass (sax, trumpet, trombone). The band catered to every request we gave them beforehand, as well as totally understood the musical vibe we were going for just from us highlighting songs we liked in their repertoire. We loved that they had such a broad range of songs, and it was incredible to have a live band that could play David Bowie, Madonna, Jackson 5, Blink182, Harry Styles, Robyn, Earth Wind & Fire in the same night. Every guest of all age ranges (19 to 60+) were out on the dance floor the whole night. Also super impressive that they do not take any breaks all night - the dance floor was always full which was super important to us. We loved every minute of our wedding and having the perfect band made it even better!

Around Town was exceptional for our wedding from start to finish.

Working with them was easy and effortless - they were prompt to answer questions, provide recommendations, and adapt to our needs for the ceremony and reception. Adam was available to speak directly on the phone with us multiple times, or answer emails promptly, as we prepared and modified our schedule for the wedding day. He was always polite, flexible, and provided his expert opinion on how to make the day as smooth and successful as possible. His advice, based on his extensive experience in the industry, was essential and elevated the wedding for us and our guests. We could not have asked for a more organized and professional band for our wedding.

The band's performance during the wedding was perfect - first, we were able to add ceremony musicians who learned songs at our request and performed outdoors on a day's notice. They performed beautifully and made the ceremony unforgettable for us and the guests. Next, they provided the soundtrack to cocktail hour as the guests mingled and the band knew exactly the right tone and energy to kick off the night. After the cocktail hour, they MC'd the announcement of the wedding party flawlessly while performing our requested song that elevated the energy and got everyone on their feet. For the reception, they learned multiple songs at our request, adapted to the flow and energy of the night, and performed at the highest level. They kept the night moving at a great pace while finding the right opportunity for speeches and special dances. Of all of the components of our wedding, I can honestly say the guests complimented the band more than anything else. As we mingled with our friends and family, we were met with "this band is incredible!" countless times throughout the night, and in fact months later Around Town Band still comes up in conversation with our friends. We give our highest possible recommendation!

Around Town was so amazing for our wedding! Well worth the investment

I'd give so many more stars. We couldn't be happier to recommend Around Town Entertainment -- they absolutely helped make our wedding so incredible. From booking to wedding day; entire process working with Adam was so easy and seamless - he gave us great guidance on our ceremony, cocktail and reception selections and helped us feel so confident in their ability to work with our venue and walk us through the day's timeline. We ended up using violin and piano for our ceremony, a jazz trio for cocktail and full band with an added horn section and it was AMAZING - so worth it! Our guests are still raving about the band and people came up to us during the wedding and called us after to ask how we found them-- they were so impressive! I was most nervous about music because we have such a varied musical taste and they delivered above and beyond! Everything from house music to R&B and classic hits. Our first dance was a Lauryn Hill R&B inspired cover and I am still stunned at the amazing performance they put on. They learned every song we requested, read the crowd and kept the party going all night long. Truly just such amazingly talented musicians and wonderful to work with.

BEST DAY EVER - thank you for your part in it!

Our wedding was the absolute best day of our lives and Around Town most definitely played a part in that!

From the very start, we knew we were working with a well-oiled machine. Adam was extremely communicative often replying to our emails within a matter of minutes.

We appreciated the fact that he made us feel extremely confident in our musician selection and always steered us towards what was best for our wedding, never towards the more expensive option. He assured us that a 7-person band would rock out just as much as a 12-person band and boy was he right!

Our guests raved about the band the entire night and following days. The team on-site was extremely kind, easy to work with, and SO MUCH FUN. The vocalists were AMAZING and the musicians were SO talented. Our guests were so impressed by the fact that the music was non-stop.

Around Town did such an amazing job curating a set lists based on our selections and got the party going in no time. Our dance floor was packed the entire night which is just what we wanted.

Our ceremony and cocktail hour music was absolutely perfect and we were so glad to be able to knock out all our musical needs with the same company.

Incredible band for our 6 hour reception!

We chose Around Town Entertainment because we wanted an extended reception (6 hour dinner + dancing) and they were one of the only bands to take this on. Wow did they deliver! They kept the energy up all night long and multiple guests commented how incredibly talented the band was! We also had some unique song requests that the band absolutely nailed!

We also used the same company for our string quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour music. All was phenomenal!!

Adam is VERY responsive and answered our questions immediately. We did try getting the staging and lighting through the band, but found a less expensive vendor in the end. The only hiccups came from the band and our venue having a disagreement over a contract and causing a bit of stress. It ended up that the Around Town team needed to read the contract closer to resolve the issue (and our venue were rude about it which didn’t help), which was a bit frustrating, but overall it was resolved and the band on the day was INCREDIBLE!

Amazing experience with After Party Band!

We could not have been happier that we hired the After Party Band for our wedding! Having good music at our reception was high on our priority list, and we spent a long time researching potential bands. While we saw many positive reviews of the After Party and Around Town Entertainment online, we weren’t able to find many recent videos of them performing but decided to hire them anyway for our summer Catskills wedding. We were absolutely blown away by After Party! One of the reasons we wanted to hire a band versus DJ was because of the energy live music brings, and it was important to us that our reception be upbeat. When providing the final info requested to ATE before our wedding, we asked that the band play minimal slow songs and also indicated some song preferences on their song list. We could not have been happier with After Party’s execution. Not only is each band member unbelievably talented, but they have incredible stage presence and an infectious energy that had people up out of their seats and dancing all night. The music they played really reflected what we were going for while also being organic. Numerous guests have said the band was the best they’ve seen at a wedding, and we couldn’t agree more! We can’t recommend the After Party Band enough!

Best experience ever! Completely blown away

We were completely blown away with how amazing Around Town Authority Band was. They took our music suggestions and kept the energy alive the entire night not only without breaks but also by impressively transitioning one song to another. Our guests literally had to pick up their jaws from the floor because they were so in awe of the band. There was a portion of our dance party where our guests all faced the band and cheered. They received a standing ovation and it was truly the best night, not only because we got married but also everyone kept talking about the band the entire night. We are impressed and will recommend this band to everyone. Best investment. Also, we have family that celebrates Jewish traditions such as the Horah and Latin traditions with Salsa music. We originally chose this band because they could sing in Spanish and do the Horah and pop music and oldies. They could do it all and I fall asleep thinking about how great the band was. 1000000 out of 10.

Worth the hype!

Music was high on our list of priorities for our wedding and Around Town was the best investment we could make! We booked super early because I wanted to make sure we got who we wanted in terms of availability and Adam (and team) were so organized and in contact with us throughout 1+ year of communication. Checkpoints were clear and they were always quickly able to answer any questions we had.

Not to mention how amazing (and professional) everyone was day-of. We feel so lucky to stumble upon this talented group and can't recommend them enough. From the jazz trio during cocktail hour to the 7+ piece band for our reception they sure were worth every penny. We have a lifetime of memories dancing the night away and would do it all again if we could! Xo

Around Town Entertainment knocked our socks off!

Our wedding venue recommended Around Town Entertainment as a preferred vendor for live music--and we were not disappointed! Unlike other live music booking companies, Around Town is a cohesive group of 5 different bands, each of whom can be heard in live performance on the Around Town website. We went with the Authority Band, and they were just spectacular. Our guests were on the dance floor the whole night and the energy and musical excitement were off the charts--so many guests commented that the band was "amazing" and they really made the party a smashing success. Working with the staff at Around Town in preparing for the event was easy and they were extremely accommodating to all we asked. The band leader and musicians were not only talented performers but very solicitous of the needs of the bride and groom during the event. Outstanding in every respect.

We had Adam and the Around Town Band play at our wedding on 10/29/2022 and it’s hard to put into words just how incredible they were. From the moment we entered to the final song, the band played the perfect music in the perfect spots and kept everyone dancing the entire night. We had 175 guests and every single one of them went out of their way to tell us just how amazing they were-and were only 2 days removed. A must hire!

My husband and I booked this band two years prior to our wedding, during the pandemic. They were recommended by our venue and we booked based on their youtube videos – we had never seen them live. They exceeded beyond our expectations. Only booking based on videos did worry us but they are amazing! Adam was so great to work with leading up to our event, answered all our questions and responded so quickly. He introduced himself to us prior to the ceremony, we chatted and he instantly made us feel comfortable. Our guests and ourselves danced the whole night. Fantastic, hire them!

We had the Around Town Band. Owner Adam and his team were fantastic from pre-booking until the end. With the exception of dinner (keyboard only), the band played nonstop for our entire reception, and even stayed a little extra as our guests chanted, "One more song!" The singers were unbelievable and the band was tight. They even learned a few extra songs that we requested. Some sounded like they had played them for years, and the others were still fun and we appreciated them learning the songs for us! While a band is expensive, Around Town was very fairly priced compared to other bands we looked at that we felt were nowhere near as good. Watch the videos on their website. Our guests continue to tell us how much they loved our band, and we thank Adam and the band for putting on an unbelievable performance!

Around town entertainment was an absolute blast. Our band altitude knocked it out of the park. Could not have asked for a better band and company to work with. It was not easy coordinating with our DJ and the myriad of entertainers we scheduled throughout the evening. However, the band delivered a seamless, once in a lifetime experience for my guests! Each vocalist was awesome and I especially appreciated the effort that was made to sing “James Bond” theme songs as requested. The performers really put their hearts into their performances and blew everyone away. A relative of mine conducts orchestras and said the musicians were “spot on” with their instruments. Wow!!!

Simply incredible- made for the most fun wedding!

The Altitude Band put on the most incredible performance for our wedding on August 6. There aren’t words to describe how they took our party to a level beyond our wildest dreams and made it the most fun wedding we’ve ever attended (we may be biased) but a large number of guests who said it was the best band and dance floor they’ve ever seen. I could go on and on. The vocalists were INCREDIBLE. Their range and energy was amazing. And all of the instrumentalists were on point the entire night. People could not stop raving about the band all night and all the next day. The band leader said they gave out so many business cards and deservedly so! People were even out dancing before we were introduced, which our wedding planner said she had never seen at a wedding. They even accommodated a special guest performance during the evening and worked with our wedding planner to build it into the timeline and work out the technical elements. We also wanted to thank the band for sticking to the vibe and type of songs we requested, which was pretty specific. There was not a single song in the entire reception that was off the mark. People have RAVED about the playlist. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, and the band never missed a step. We truly appreciate their willingness to play to that vision and hope the band enjoyed playing those songs all night! Finding Around Town and the Altitude Band was an unbelievably fortunate part of our whole planning process. It made our reception the party of our dreams. They are incredibly responsive and easy to work with (which makes a huge difference, especially if you are doing most of the planning for your wedding!). We can't recommend them enough.

Excellent best party band around!

Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment rocked the house at my daughters wedding. We could not have had a better band from the music at the ceremony to cocktail hour to the big party. As soon as you entered the ballroom they had the dance floor full. The amount of people that raves about them was unbelievable. No one we had at the party had ever heard of them but now we know a couple people that are booking them. Adam answers you immediately when you reach out to him which also is great. You practically instantly hear back. If you are looking for a band I highly recommend them.

Around Town Band made the night!

Around Town Band was absolutely incredible. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. Many guests even asked us where we found this band and noted how amazing they were. Adam helped manage the timeline of the reception which was so wonderful. Additionally, part of our package was a pianist for our ceremony, and a jazz trio for our cocktail hour. This made the event from start to finish a great experience. They prepared our special request songs, even one that we asked for late in the game. The music made the night SO amazing. For us, a GREAT live band was such an important part of the night- and we definitely splurged for it- but it was 1000x worth it. We're so thankful to Adam and the Around Town Band for MAKING our wedding magical!

The best band!

We just had a 60th birthday party. We were fortunate enough to hire them. Omg they are the best! Everyone danced the whole time. The music is all consuming. It lifted everyone up and made the party. We are having a wedding this September. We can’t wait and our confident we have the best!!

Unreal band!

Our wedding was EPIC, many thanks to Around Town Entertainment. From the second we booked them, Adam was so responsive in answering all of our questions and helping us curate the perfect set list for our guests. We hired the 7 piece band and added an additional singer and saxophone. As we walked into our cocktail hour, the jazz trio sounded so gorgeous. During our reception, the party was NON-STOP. The band read the crowd and always knew the perfect song to amaze us with next. We asked the band to learn a special song for the father-daughter dance and it sounded perfect. We also asked them to start our first dance off slow and transition into a faster song for a special surprise choreographed dance and they nailed it! Many guests at the wedding were singers and musicians and they couldn’t get over the band's talent. People are still raving about it! Hire them for your wedding and know that it’ll be the most epic event.

An unquestionable homerun!

We had the "Altitude" band from Around Town for our wedding on 12/4/21 in NYC and they did not disappoint! We had an incredible time at our wedding and I won't be shy to share that so many people said it was "the best" wedding they've ever been to :) - hard work does pay off! The reason I share that feedback is because everyone should understand that the band is one of (if not the) most important aspect of the evening. If the band doesn't get it, can't figure out your vibe, or is off the mark, the party isn't much of a party at all. Well... Altitude kept the party going from start to finish, they knocked it out of the park. I would highly recommend Around Town and encourage you all to consider them. Adam, who will be your point man when it comes to pre-event logistics and preferences, is super responsive and is willing to work with you - remember, it's your wedding, so make sure the band (and every other vendor for that matter) gets you, your vibe, and your expectations. Around Town - Best wedding band

Around Town is the best wedding band in the area. I have been to several weddings where they were performing, and decided I needed them at mine. Everyone was on the floor dancing the entire time, and even during when people were eating they didn't take full break which was a huge relief.

Amazing Band and Wonderful Event

My Wife and I hired the Around Town band back in mid 2020 after we got engaged and planned to celebrate our marriage at the end of 2020. Covid had other plans and forced us to postpone our wedding reception until December 2021. We worked with Adam Michaels from Around Town band and his band put on a performance which can only be stated as a:
Dream Come True.

Adam is the most punctual and responsive vendor I have ever worked with. His band consists of studio musicians who are absolute professionals. (I have played in a few bands over the years) and was blown away by how professional and fantastic his band is and how easy his business was to work with leading up to our Wedding Reception.

Prior to our party I had read in some reviews how guests would approach the bride and groom and inform them that AroundTown Band was the best wedding band they have ever heard. I was skeptical and thought perhaps this is too good to be true until I heard the doors to the reception hall open and the band was playing the introduction songs which the Bridal party would enter to. My mind was blown away at how amazing the band sounded. I felt like I was entering into a Concert. I should mention that my only responsibility from my wife was to pick the music entertainment for the reception. So, I felt a tremendous relief and a lot of excitement when I realized, I nailed it. During the night, we became that couple where guest approached us asking “Where did you find your wedding band? They are incredible!”

The whole night was filled with outstanding music, exactly to the playlist which we suggested, and the dance floor was packed with everyone enjoying themselves, some even in excess.

Thank you again to Adam Michaels and Around Town Band for an amazing night and surpassing ours and all of our guest’s expectations! They absolutely killed it!

Kept the dance floor crowded all night!!

We are extremely thankful for the Authority Band for making our wedding such an unforgettable event. When we listened to Around Town Entertainment, and specifically, the Authority Band, we knew we had to book right away! When working with Adam Michaels, we appreciated his flexibility and the bands willingness to work with us when we needed to reschedule our wedding due to COVID. Adam was always available for questions and often responded to our emails/questions within minutes of us sending them. Through our conversations with Adam, we emphasized how we wanted music playing throughout the entirety of the wedding and the Authority Band delivered just that! From soft background music during dinner to dance hits throughout the night, the Authority Band delivered exactly what we wanted. They played our first song to perfection and even took a few song requests the night of the wedding. It is three weeks after the wedding and our friends and family are still talking about how unbelievable the band was!

Outstanding

There are no words to describe how INCREDIBLY a talented and fun Around Town Entertainment is! They were my band at my wedding on November 5, and I literally did not get off the dance floor all night along with my guests. All the singers were amazing and very entertaining. My guests are still ranging and raving about how they never heard a better band at a wedding! Adam also was so accommodating from the minute I got in touch with him, until the whole night of my wedding. Incredible Band

The Altitude Band from Around Town was incredible. We had 9 pieces (including Sax and Trumpet). They were so good that the dance floor was packed before dinner was even over and until we had to leave the venue. At one point in the night I thought they were on a break and playing recorded music and looked over and it was still them, that's how good they are. Every single guest we've spoken to since our wedding day has commented on how great the band was and several even asked for their info. The band was the most important vendor for us and we would absolutely book them again.

They Made the Night!

Everyone says that the music sets the tone for a wedding, and Adam and his Around Town Band were stellar! Everyone was dancing the entire night and they are still talking about how great the music was. They had to learn our obscure wedding song and it was FLAWLESS! My husband heard them play at a wedding 15 years ago and vowed that if he ever got married again that was the band he wanted to book. Needless to say, we booked the band before we booked anything else. If music is important to you, do yourself a favor and book the Band Around Town, you will not be disappointed!

Kickass Band!

This band absolutely rocked my wedding! From learning our first dance song and doing an amazing job, to keeping the party going all night long! My husband and I didn't step off the dance floor for more than two minutes the entire time. Their response time when emailing is top notch, and they are all incredibly kind to work with. We're looking for a new party to plan so we can hire them again!

This band was incredible. Our family and friends at the wedding kept saying how great the band was! We loved them. They were very helpful with learning a new song for our first dance. They also were very accommodating up until the very last minute making changes. You should definitely get them for your wedding. You will not bad disappointed!

Around Town "Awesome"

These musicians were absolutely outstanding! But, it was more than them just being talented musicians. I'm in sales and when I have to be on the "buying side" of the table, I expect responsiveness from the vendor. Adam was almost real-time in his responses to me. And that meant a lot. I also just went to (4) weddings over the past (6) weeks and heard really good bands. I think the one thing that separates "AT" is they focus on "reading the crowd". How are they reacting to the songs were playing, should we stay on track, or mix it up? And lastly, I really liked their look. Kind of sharp-classy with a bit of edge...

Amazing Talent & Band

Adam and his team were amazing. So accommodating to our music tastes, style, changing dates and everything. Their lead singers are extremely talented, as well as all their musicians. They provided a free piano or violin for ceremony, a free jazz trio for the cocktail hour and did NOT stop playing music all night except for during speeches. They learned 12 songs for us, to make sure that our favorites got played, and went above and beyond. Communication was always fast and efficient, and we couldn't have been happier to dance the night away to them. My bride even got to play the drums! Highly recommend.

The BEST band!

The band had an incredible performance last night! A truly exceptional group in talent, energy and kindness. Go with Around Town! You won't regret it!

Adam and the Around Town band were absolutely fantastic during our August 2021 wedding! When our original 2020 wedding date was postponed due to COVID, we made the decision to pivot to a new venue where we could safely celebrate outside. Adam was very responsive and accommodating in helping us reimagine what our set up would look like. The planning process was very easy and the band learned/played a ton of our requests throughout the night. Having only one point of contact to go to for all of it made planning extremely efficient. Around Town was able to provide us with audio equipment for our ceremony, outstanding ceremony musicians, a great cocktail hour trio, a high energy band for the reception, and a solid DJ for the afterparty. Everyone raved about the musicians and the setlist. Around Town really did keep the energy high and the dance floor packed all night! We would definitely recommend Adam and the Around Town band - you will not be disappointed!

All of our guests RAVED about them!

100% the best part of the wedding for nearly all of our guests were the band. It’s great value for money. My husband pushed for us to spend a smidge more on a band vs DJ and I have to say it was TOTALLY worth it. They had everyone on the dance floor and the quality of the songs was amazing. Extreme professionalism and responsiveness throughout the process. I didn’t have to worry about a thing, they worked directly with my venue and figured it all out. Amazing Band

Around Town Entertainment Made Our Party!

We had Around Town Entertainment’s After Party Band play for our wedding and they absolutely made the party! Guitar music for the ceremony, a jazz trio for cocktail hour, and an amazing band for the dance party during the reception - they nailed every part of our event. Elsa, the band leader, not only showcased her fabulous singing voice, but was also a great leader: she was organized, professional, friendly, and easy to work with. She made sure that our timeline stayed on track and that no beat was skipped, and did so with ease. Adam helped us throughout the process, with booking the band and arranging all of the details, and he was always very responsive. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice for a wedding band, and we only wish we could do it all over again with them!

Fantastic Wedding Band – Absolutely Made the Party!

The title of this post sums it up. From start to finish, Around Town Entertainment is a high quality operation that delivers when it counts.

To start, Adam Michaels runs a great business. He handles all questions, payments, and scheduling with ease. He is very responsive and knowledgeable about the wedding industry. Because he sings in one of the bands the company offers, he is also very knowledgeable about music. He continually worked with us during the pandemic to ensure we had options if circumstances changed. Payments were made easily through the company’s electronic bank transfer portal. All band options, music choices, and scheduling information is transmitted to the band through a shared google documents system. It all couldn’t be easier.

We chose the Altitude band and it wasn’t a mistake. The soloist during the ceremony was excellent and the jazz trio kept the mood light during cocktail hour. But the full band during the reception was unbelievable. We did not do a traditional wedding with a lot of speeches and a sit down dinner so the music and overall vibe of the party was very important. Altitude band delivered. The special songs they learned for our introductions and first dances were spot on. They then proceeded to play non-stop for 3.5 hours and kept the dance floor packed. They also knew when to organically slow the pace down as people chose to go to the bar or eat dinner. The highlight of the night was when the lead guitarist and saxophonist came out onto the dance floor in the middle of the crowd for a music battle! The entire crowd went nuts for that performance. All night our guests continuously raved about the band and the vibe they brought and for days after the wedding we received text messages and calls that consistently mentioned how great the band was.

We would certainly recommend them for your wedding if you want a high quality, talented and professional wedding band that puts on a fantastic performance and keeps the dance floor full all night.

Absolutely AMAZING!

Thank you so much Around Town Entertainment for making our wedding night absolutely amazing!! Around Town Entertainment made every step of the wedding planning process so easy and answered every question we had along the way. Adam was always there for us to talk to, and his fast responses show he truly cares about his couples. As a couple trying to plan a wedding during Covid-19, Adam and Around Town Entertainment supported us in every decision. When our wedding finally came, they read the room and made sure the dance floor was packed the whole night!! My husband and I never stopped dancing! We are in still in awe at how incredible Around Town is! Words truly can’t express how spectacular Around Town is- the only way to truly know is to have them at your wedding! Our family and friends are still talking about how amazing Around Town Entertainment is. When the night was over, everyone chanted one more song (and they did!)! No one wanted them to end! Blown away!!!

Something that was really important to my husband and me was having a band perform at our wedding—Around Town completely blew us away! More specifically, we went with the after party band and they brought such a positive energy from the start and kept us and our guests dancing all night long! We are SO happy we went with around town (specifically the after party band!)! Something I also really appreciated was how communicative Adam was throughout the process! The Perfect Wedding Band

Adam from Around Town, leading up to the wedding, was soooooo amazing and responsive and helpful and __________ (insert all amazing adjectives here).

It made our lives so easy. And of course, the band (we used A-List) was UNBELIEVABLE. Our first dance was John Legend's Conversations in the Dark and the singer sounded EXACTLY like John Legend - my wife and I teared up it was done so perfectly.

We already had 4 of our friends, who have upcoming weddings (originally pushed back because of COVID) who will book Around Town because they were THAT impressed.

100% recommend, 1000000 times over.

Altitude Band kept the dance floor going all night!!

We had the Altitude Band perform at our wedding on 6/12/21 and they were AMAZING!! The #1 thing my husband and I wanted for our wedding was an incredible band and Altitude did not disappoint. They played a great range of music (if you're on the fence, book the horns!!) and following dinner, I don't think one wedding guest sat in their chair. The dance floor was amazing from the beginning to the end of the night and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you Adam, Elsa and the full band for a memorable night!!

Non stop dancing all night

Dancing all night long!

Around Town Entertainment provided the ceremony, cocktail and reception music for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding on May 8, 2021. Adam is the contact and he is incredibly responsive and organized. We had to reschedule the first wedding due to Covid and he easily transitioned one of his bands to accommodate our new date. Adam recommended After Party Band and Elsa as the coordinator of the evening. Best decision ever! Guests never left the dance floor. Interlude and cocktail music had a comfortable sound and easy to speak and hear at our tables.

And, the price was most reasonable. No need to look further!!

The best band ever!

Around Town Entertainment went above and beyond since the moment we inquired about booking our wedding. We will be eternally grateful for the level of care and professionalism that we were shown on one of the most special and most important days of our life. Not to mention the music and vibe that was created. They literally kept the party going all night long. Every guest was talking about how amazing the band was. Adam, and the whole crew were by far the best and we can’t thank them enough for all they did to make our wedding day perfect.

Fabulous band for our NYE COVID wedding!

Adam & the Around Town band recently played at our wedding on New Year's Eve and did a fantastic job! Despite shifting to a much smaller guest size due to the pandemic restrictions, the music truly made the night and kept everyone's energy and spirits high throughout our reception. Unfortunately due to COVID our dance floor was restricted aside for first dances, but everyone was trying to dance throughout the night regardless because of the music. Would definitely recommend Adam & team for your wedding!

They are the best wedding band I have ever heard! Tons of guests said this. Star quality, in fact we had a star in attendance who sang two songs with them and he was so impressed that he also took their card. Dance floor was packed the entire time. High quality, fun, reliable. Use this band if you want the best party ever.

Around town was amazing. From cocktail hour until the minute our event ended, the music was wonderful. They were lively and exciting the entire time, and they were extremely talented in a wide range of genres. You absolutely must pick this band! My sister-in-law booked this band for her wedding and they were amazing! She chose to do a 7 piece set (no horns). Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. When it came time to plan my own wedding, my husband and I knew that we wanted to also have them. We decided to go with a 10 piece (4 singers, and horns) and they blew us away! We had people who already were married and had bands come up to us and say that they wished they got our band instead of theirs. Adam is great to work with, very professional and responsive. We had 250 guests at our wedding, and I think we had 90% of the guests dancing the entire night! Do yourself a favor, and book them!

Best band ever

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I've been to weddings where Around Town has played and had the absolute best time as a guest so I knew they'd be perfect for my own wedding and that turned out to be true. They had my guests on the dance floor the whole night, were extremely accommodating with learning new songs, and were overall amazing. 10/10
