Book them!

I cannot recommend Arlen Music Company/Evolution Orchestra enough!

They were professional, polished, and fun. They really partnered with us throughout the wedding planning experience, so we felt that all of the music was personalized and exactly what we wanted. We had a few calls with them leading up to the wedding, where we explained our vision and vibe. They made sure it was delivered on the dance floor.

We planned sweet and sentimental songs for the walk down the aisle. For example, my bridesmaids walked down the aisle to a violin version of "Mastermind" - the same song my husband proposed to. My mother walked down the aisle to a piano version of "Cannon D" - the same song she had walked down the aisle to at her wedding. And I walked down the aisle to "XO" by Beyonce and John Mayer - my favorite singer and my husband's favorite singer.

Then, they played our first dances beautifully. My dad and I danced to a slow version of "It's a Beautiful Day." The slow version didn't really exist, so they helped us to create one. Then, they played it so beautifully as we danced to it.

For my husband and my first dance to "Simply the Best", they sounded even better than the original.

Then, they made sure the dance floor was bumpin'! They played slightly older songs at the start for the dance floor. Then, they played really fun songs that brought all of the young people onto the dance floor.

At the middle of the party, I really wanted to bring out espresso martinis to a fun song. They helped me to find a song and time that would keep the vibes high for our 5-hour dance floor, but also would be after grandma went back to sleep for the crazier songs.

Towards the end of the night, the lead singer even came out on the dance floor and danced with us. It made the crowd go wild and the pictures so fun!

Plus, they knew I loved Taylor Swift, so they did a surprise bonus song where everyone sang "Love Story" together.

Then, we did a final slow dance to "Wedding Dress" by Matt Nathanson. They made it all so perfect, before we headed to our after party.

I cannot recommend Arlen Music Productions more. We loved Evolution Band - from the sentimental pieces to the party. They made our wedding so memorable, fun, and special.

Our wedding was 18 months ago and we still get compliments on the band - from their beautiful voices for the first dance to their vibes for the dance floor.

Thanks Entourage!

Entourage was instrumental in making our Chicago Cultural Center wedding such a memorable event and kept the dance floor PACKED all night long. After our wedding, countless guests told us that Entourage was the best wedding band that they had ever heard and we couldn't agree more. Morgen is an absolute rockstar of a bandleader and was a true pleasure to work with in the weeks and months before the wedding. Live music is very important to us and we were so lucky to be able to book Entourage for our big day, we can't recommend them enough. Thanks Entourage!

Best wedding band ever!

Indigo was the band we chose for our Chicago wedding at Salvage One. We cannot say enough great things about Indigo – they made all our wedding band dreams come true! The band is lead by the incredibly talented Kendall Nesbitt, who kept all of our guests on the dance floor (including himself) all night long, curating a set list that perfectly matched our music taste (Motown, oldies and pop). He delivered the BEST version of “Shout!” (with a mashup of Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds!) we have ever heard. Some guests who typically do not prefer that song were raving about it. Each band member and singer were also insanely talented – Noah perfectly sang our first dance song “Forever You and Me”. We also would be remiss to not mention the solo guitar during our ceremony too. They were able to perfectly learn and play versions of songs we requested for the processional. If you are looking for a high energy, fun wedding band, we highly recommend working with Arlen, specifically Indigo. “Worth every penny.” – A happy father of the bride. Thanks Arlen/Indigo!

Hire the band Velocity!

Velocity provided music for our wedding ceremony over Labor Day Weekend at Revel Motor Row in Chicago. The musicians and vocalists brought so much energy and joy to the celebration! They played music at the ceremony so beautifully, created a calm and elegant atmosphere during cocktail hour and dinner, and kept the dance floor full all night long! They kindly learned first dance songs as well as additional songs special to my family members. Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but they also know how to read the room and keep everyone engaged. Guests of all ages have told us it was the best wedding band they’ve ever heard! Would highly recommend Velocity to provide music at any special event.

Skyline - a huge win for our wedding!

Can’t say enough great things about the band we booked, Skyline. They played an incredible variety of songs to perfection! They even happily learned a new song for the bride/father dance.

If you’re looking for a top-notch band all around, look no further than Skyline. They have it all!!! We literally think they are the reason the wedding celebration was a huge success. Guests are still reminiscing about their favorite song that they danced to with their best friends. Priceless!

Front of House

We are so happy we hired Front of House for our September wedding at the Chicago Athletic Association! Everyone raved about the band - from my aunts in their 70s to my cousin’s teenage daughters. A band that can cater to all ages and different tastes and keep everyone on the dance floor is pretty rare! David was really helpful throughout the planning process helping us build a timeline for our reception dinner. We had a song in mind for our first dance and the band learned it for us, which made our night really memorable. We had a guest comment that she felt like our wedding had the best timeline “flow”, and that was all due to David’s suggestions. If you are considering Front of House as your wedding band, do yourself a favor and book them!

I can’t say enough great things about FRONT OF HOUSE! This incredible 11-member band, led by the talented David Sherman, exceeded every expectation. During the planning stages, David went above and beyond, helping us fine-tune the evening’s itinerary and carefully curating a perfect playlist based on our preferences—both songs we loved and ones we wanted to avoid.

FRONT OF HOUSE even learned a few new songs we requested, including the Father-Daughter dance, which made our celebration even more personal and special. On the day of the wedding, they brought an infectious energy and professionalism that had everyone on the dance floor all night long. Their enthusiasm was palpable, and their talent undeniable.

We especially loved their on-stage choreography—it was clear they were having as much fun as we were! Their ability to read the room and create the perfect musical vibe made our wedding reception truly unforgettable. The energy they brought was lively, joyful, and exactly what we dreamed of for our daughter's big day.

A huge thank-you to Rebecca Richey, Katherine Anderick, Bret Zweir, Curt Bley, Brian Danzy, Tom McCarthy, Josh Hettwer, Josh Jern, LeTroy Jackson, Rebecca Brown, and of course, David Sherman. You all were the heartbeat of our celebration, and we wouldn’t dream of hosting a wedding without you!

Best vendor decision ever!!

Indigo - Amazing Band!

Oh what a night! Indigo is amazing! Our wedding guests were so impressed with them - from the jazz trio during dinner to the high energy music that kept everyone on the dance floor. Kendall knows how to start a party and keep it going until the end of the evening! Their range of music and ability to play to our guests was so impressive. We are so glad that we decided to select the 11 piece band - the horn section was fantastic! And then they ended the evening with a private dance for the bride and groom that was so special. They are definitely a five star band! A big thanks to Kendall and Indigo for a very special evening!

An outrageous night with Front of House!!!

Look no further than Front of House for your wedding! I cannot say thank you enough for the work David and the band put into making our night so special. As a guest said "I knew it would be fun, but I did not know it would be THAT fun!" We have Front of House to thank for that. The dance floor was packed from the moment David invited guests to the floor until we all sang the final song together. If budget is a priority (as it was for us), I can assure you Front of House was worth every penny and much more. We even extended the playing time another 30 minutes!! Thanks again Front of House!

Ken Arlen Made the Night!

My husband and I planned our entire wedding around when Ken Arlen's Evolution Orchestra was available. They are the best of the best. Not only are the musicians incredibly talented, Ken and Lloyd's ability to cater to the couple and their families is first rate. Best wedding dance floor

We hired Indigo band from the Arlen Music Productions group and had the best time. Working with them was so easy and they were willing to learn our first dance song in addition to a few others. Every musician in the band is so talented and they really brought the energy. Our guests had the best time dancing the entire night. Would highly recommend Indigo for the best wedding dance floor!

Non-stop dancing at our wedding with Entourage

We used Entourage for our wedding band and they were AMAZING. We were both very skeptical of wedding bands in general – most of them that we had experienced were cheesy and overpriced. However, my parents felt very strongly about having a wedding band, so we decided to go for it. I hate to say it, but they were right – at least, when it comes to booking Entourage. They brought such incredible energy and our dance floor was PACKED all night. They even learned some extra songs for us, and they kept their song list updated throughout the season. Six months after our wedding, our guests are still talking about how much fun they had dancing at our wedding and how incredible the band was!

Ken Arlen and His Team Will Make Your Night

Ken Arlen Music Productions was probably the best choice we made for our March 2019 Chicago wedding. They have lots of different options but we ended up deciding on the Evolution Orchestra led by Lloyd Snyder. Ken and Lloyd helped us with all of the planning. Everything was customized and I'm so glad we went with their suggestions even on things we originally said we weren't sure about. Lloyd's band was just fantastic. People were truly shocked by the quality of this group of amazingly talented musicians. We also asked them to keep one of the saxophonists and the drummer for the final thirty minutes of the party while the rest of the group was packing up and they played along to popular EDM songs and this was a huge hit that other friends have now copied for their weddings. Best Decision We Made!!

Erik Martinez and his band Velocity were the highlight of our wedding! Arlen music was SO EASY to work with. They listened to our vision and helped put together 3 different ensembles for each component of the wedding. We started with an amazing string trio for the ceremony playing beautiful classical music, but they also had many contemporary songs in their repertoire. The cocktail hour featured a piano & saxophone duo playing soft jazz and added a sense of ease and elegance to the ambiance. The reception featured the Velocity band and Erik Martinez as the band lead and emcee. We were so busy leading up to the wedding we were only able to provide 15-20 songs and a general idea of what we were looking for and they DELIVERED. We started the reception with big band jazzy type tunes and as dinner finished transitioned into the classic wedding dance songs. High energy, talented musicians, and so easy to work with! Would definitely use again and highly recommend!!

We had the Velocity band within Arlen Music productions as our wedding band, and I can't imagine having a better wedding band! The 3 singers are absolutely incredible! The flow of the night was flawless, and they sounded amazing. I have gotten SO MANY compliments on this band choice. My guests had an absolute BLAST because of how they entertained SO HARD all night! They have an incredible range for the types of music that they can perform and their energy is amazing. They were great to work with! There were SO many people on the dance floor all night for every song which is an achievement!!!

We hired Entourage (part of Ken Arlen Orchestra) for our wedding day. This band literally ROCKED. Aside from getting married, the band was the best part of the day. After the wedding, we were approached by countless people about the band and saying that this was the best wedding band they had seen.

Entourage was great to work with (Leslie is there point person and AWESOME). They coordinated with our venue without a hitch and learned several songs to play at the reception. Absolutely extraordinary and a no-brainer for your wedding day!

They say the 5 most important things for a wedding are inviting the right guests, selecting the perfect venue, serving great food and drinks, choosing an exceptional photographer, and most importantly the perfect entertainment. If you want the very best entertainment for your wedding there is only one band to select and that’s Entourage out of Chicago with Arlen Music Productions. With Entourage you not only get a great band but you get two incredible singers and entertainers in Leslie and Jerome. But the very best thing you get is a terrific band leader and the very best MC money can buy in Leslie Hunt! Our daughter’s wedding was at Notre Dame and we live in Atlanta and even though her band is out of Chicago communication was always very easy. In addition, Leslie always had great ideas leading up to the wedding and we ended up using all of her suggestions! Lastly, even though we had a small hiccup during the evening Leslie was always in total control and as the Father of the Bride you could not have asked for more. If you want an exceptional 8- piece band with a large playlist that appeals to all ages led by a classy young woman look no further. You just can’t do any better than Entourage for your event!

We were nervous about hiring a band for our recent wedding at the Harold Washington Library, as we had heard that the acoustics could be a little tricky in the Winter Garden. However, from our very first meeting with David Sherman from Front of House, we knew that we didn't need to be nervous any more. When we asked David if he had played at the HWL, he said that he had, and before we could even ask our question about the acoustics, he followed with, "It can be a tricky venue, but we've played it enough that we've figured how out to rock it."

And rock it they did. Front of House was INCREDIBLE. From helping us choose our processional music to playing the Cantina Song from Star Wars during dinner, to keeping the dance floor rocking, everything they did was absolutely amazing. Our guests kept asking us who our band was, and both the older and younger crowds said that the band was one of their favorite parts of the wedding. We couldn't agree more - from our first dance as a married couple to the last dance of the evening, David Sherman and Front of House were amazing.

Indigo was absolutely incredible at our wedding reception! They played a wonderful variety - pop, older hits, etc. They even learned a song we requested for our entrance. We had so many amazing comments from our guests - I can't wait to see them perform again. Dan the bandleader was great to meet with ahead of time and set up a wonderful timeline for the evening which definitely set the tone. Couldn't have been happier!

Of the vendors I worked with for my wedding, this is the only review I am writing the following day. We were blown away with Indigo: they energized the crowd from the moment our folks walked into the reception hall. Dan, the band leader, worked with us beforehand to understand us as a couple, what we liked, what our friends would like, what we were looking for in our event. During our wedding they played new music that old folks loved and old music that young folks loved--my bride's maid of honor entered on a Dre beat and our aunts an uncles danced until the band stopped playing.

Indigo's musicians were absolutely top notch, and the singers sounded authentic singing every style. We loved every bit of their work and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Ken Arlen Evolution completely ROCKED it at our recent wedding. Even with incredibly high expectations given feedback we'd heard, we were totally blown away.

Caitlin Simone & crew took the time to meet with us, really understand our musical preferences, learn a few favorite songs, and understand the meaning behind some of our "must plays".

They had so much energy and enthusiasm, not to mention raw talent. I could not peel myself off of the dance floor, and neither could most of our guests. I'd recommend them to anyone, and book them again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I booked Front of House for our wedding ceremony and reception and, as always, they exceeded all expectations. Band leader David Sherman made the entire experience easy for us, from the planning to the evening of the event. Arlen's staff is professional and responsive, and were a pleasure to work with. David clearly has a lot of experience, and made intuitive suggestions on music and how best to arrange the evening. He even took it upon himself to help coordinate all of the relevant vendors with the band to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible.

And, of course, the music was amazing. The dance floor was always packed with guests of all ages, and every song we didn't specifically request matched our tastes perfectly. Even songs that weren't a part of their rotation sounded like they'd been playing them for years, and the custom arrangement of the song for our first dance was phenomenal. My wife and I realized fairly late in the evening that we hadn't been to the bar even once, as we had never left the dance floor once the party started.

We have nothing but praise for Front of House. All of our guests had a fantastic time, and *everyone* complimented us on the band. This is the third time that our family has booked Front of House for a wedding, and we'd gladly recommend them to anyone.

Caitlin and the Evolution Orchestra performed at our wedding on 5/28/17. We continue to receive rave reviews from friends and family (of all ages!). We thought that the band would make the party and Caitlin and team blew us away. They learned new songs for the event and all throughout the planning process they were professional, responsive and creative. So much fun to work with. Thanks to Caitlin and team for everything - the dance floor was full the entire evening and friends from across the country are still sending compliments our way!

We could not be happier that we chose to go with Leslie and Entourage for our wedding band. Even before the night was over, I had people in my ear from every angle telling me how amazing the band was. Leslie sat down with us a month or two before the wedding and helped us plan out a timeline that worked within our constraints, and we were happy to have her expertise in the general flow of a reception. Their song catalog is extensive, and they played every song with confidence and grace. The night of the wedding, she was totally in control, kept the dance floor packed the entire night, and made us feel completely at ease. There is literally nothing we would have changed about the band.

We admit that we were quite nervous choosing to go with a band over a DJ, but after spending the night with Entourage, we are 100% confident we made the right choice.

We went into our wedding being a little nervous about if people would dance and if the dance floor would be empty. If only we had known how incredibly talented, fun, energetic and amazing every member of Indigo is--we could have spent our time way less stressed. They were FANTASTIC. Our huge dance floor was packed the entire night with people young and old. Two days later we are still getting texts about how good they were. I can not rave about them enough. They read a crowd perfect, play to a crowd and truly are having as much fun as the crowd. Their talent is unreal and I'm so grateful they spent the night entertaining us!

My husband and I booked Velocity for our wedding on June 17th at Morgan Manufacturing, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about Erik (band leader) and the entire band! From the beginning of our interaction, communication was clear and constant, and Erik dedicated time and effort into making sure that the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was what we had in mind. We had a few special requests for songs for our processional, recessional and first dance/parent dances, and Erik and the band arranged the songs for us as part of our contract (at no additional charge). When we booked the band, we were a bit nervous because we only saw the promotional video on their site, and since they are a wedding band, it is not appropriate to go to others' weddings to see them play live. However, I think we both agree that they were even BETTER than the video on the site, as evidenced by people on the dance floor the entire night! The party never thinned out, and this was in large part to how amazing Velocity was. Several of our guests commented on how great they were, and friends of ours even inquired with Erik about playing at their wedding in Madison next year! We had a specific list of songs we wanted played, not played, and songs we were indifferent about (based on their song list), and they listened to our requests and did a wonderful job at keeping the music varied, and keeping the party going. I cannot recommend them enough- they truly rocked!

From almost the opening songs our guests were coming up to us and commenting so positively on the music. Leslie Hunt was the leader and her energy and voice is outstanding. Leslie told us at the meeting we had in their office well before the wedding date that she would "read" the crowd and adjust for them was spot on. She and the band had everyone on the dance floor all night. While our daughter and future son in law picked the music from a 5 page list, the performance from the band made the evening very special. Leslie set the itinerary for the evening but also was very accommodating to switch some things for our personal preference. What a performance they provided and a pleasure to have Entourage perform at our daughter's wedding.

We LOVE Entourage! From our meeting with Leslie to our wedding reception, everything was great. Our wedding guests had a great time and people (even our reception coordinator) are still talking about the dance floor being full all night. We had the pleasure of having Entourage play at our wedding on 12.31.16. All I can say is; WOW. From 6:30pm-1am, it was non-stop great music. After dinner the dance floor was full the ENTIRE time! I don't think I've ever been to a wedding where I've seen that to that extent. The band's energy was so contagious and every single person in Entourage is extremely talented. I can't tell you how many times people told us that night and after the wedding how incredible the band was. Leslie, the lead singer was perfect to work with. She knows exactly how to pick songs that will all blend into the next one and was on spot with everything. I would recommend Entourage to any and everyone!

We could not have been happier working with Front of House and David Sherman. Throughout the entire evening, all of our guests were thoroughly enjoying themselves and out on the dance floor, both young and old. Front of House does an amazing job of mixing in wedding classics with newer age songs, which keeps all guests in high spirits during the night. Even the music played during the cocktail hour and dinner was perfect. We also had some pretty specific special requests, which they took the time to learn and absolutely nail! The band truly sounds like the original version of every song that they play. At the end of the evening, they performed a special tribute and asked our guests to form a circle around us as we danced to close out the evening, it was a moment we will never forget. David even took the time to find us during the evening and make sure we were comfortable with the flow and timing of the night. We received many compliments after our wedding, but everyone mentioned the awesome band!

In short, Entourage absolutely killed it. They made our wedding the best night of our lives. From the initial discussions with Mike, through scheduling the night with Leslie, all the way through the night of the wedding, Arlen was incredibly easy to work with and helpful the entire process. They were always responsive and communicative, responding quickly whenever we needed anything. And Leslie was incredibly professional and still made the planning part fun, and stress free.

The night of the wedding, they played beautifully through the ceremony and during cocktail hour and dinner, setting the tone for a meaningful and fun night. Leslie's experience informed some of her recommendations, which helped make our night unforgettable. From the moment the first song played and the dance floor opened, the party never stopped. The band brought such high energy and incredible enthusiasm that literally every single guest was on the dance floor. Uncles, aunts, grandma. An hour into dancing, I went to the lobby bar to get a drink and it was completely empty. Everyone was dancing and we give all the credit to Leslie and her band at Arlen, Entourage.

If we were planning another wedding (and thankfully we're not) we would put Entourage first on our list to book. We don't have enough great things to say about them and couldn't recommend them any more. They're perfect.

Front of House truly made my wedding one to remember. Working with the band could not have been easier, which was refreshing considering all the stress that comes with organizing a reception. Meeting with Mike was a lot of fun, and got me and my husband very excited for the reception. Also, there were some things that we were unsure of up until the last minute, but Mike could not have been more accommodating. The band is so talented, and played songs from a great selection. The singers blew the crowd out of the water. What really stuck with me? When the band took a quick break, the dance floor didn't empty. Everyone stayed! They waited for the band to come back, and there was no room left on the dance floor because they kept the crowd going and the party would not stop as long as they were playing. There is no other band to consider.

Arlen, and particularly our band Velocity with bandleader, Erik, made our wedding so magical!! It was a dream come true, and everything was absolutely perfect. Coming from a family of musicians, I was hesitant at first to hire a live band and live musicians for our wedding ceremony. How could the band (Velocity) sound as good live as they do in a promotional video?! Well they certainly did, and even better in person! The musicians for the ceremony were wonderful, also. Very professional. I listened to so many out of tune versions of "Pachelbel's canon" from various groups online, and Arlen's musicians were top notch.

Little did I know when I was initially beginning the wedding planning process how big of an impact the music, and the bandleader have on the wedding. Erik organized our evening down to the greatest detail, really taking note of everything we wanted (no easy task!) He then executed everything perfectly. Erik was so laid back, kind, and easy to work with. He remembered everything we had told him we wanted, which is the sign of a true professional.

Arlen (and particularly the band, Velocity, in our case) made our wedding better than we could've imagined. The musicians were incredible.. all so talented. The atmosphere they created was a true dance party, and everyone was on their feet the entire night. We've been to so many weddings where the music just falls flat, and the vibe of the evening with it. There was no lull or awkward moments of an empty dance floor...they understand the pace and mix of songs to keep everyone up and having a great time (guests from all generations!). We got so many comments and compliments on the band, and everyone told us they had the time of their lives (including us!) Truly, it was spectacular. We couldn't be happier with how things went, and strongly recommend this band and company for anyone planning a wedding.

Wow, we LOVE Front of House! The band was better than we could have dreamed and we had so many compliments through the night. David Sherman is FANTASTIC and read the dance floor perfectly. I could not recommend this band more highly and am hoping to have any excuse in the future to hire them again.

We worked with Entourage for our September 2015 wedding and they were fabulous! We wanted to make sure that our guests had a great time and enjoyed the celebration and with very little direction from my husband and myself they were able to make it happen. Our dance floor was packed the entire evening! They were so great that night, that a couple at our wedding is bringing Entourage in as the band for their daughters wedding in Pittsburg next summer. I would highly recommend working with them!

INDIGO...GO...GO...GO! This band rocks! My daughter's wedding was this weekend and we were lucky enough to book Indigo early. You name it, they can play it and their 4 vocalists are phenomenal. Dan Nicholson, the band leader, was great to work with and his recommendations kept the dance floor full all night. If you want guests on the dance floor...go...go...go with Indigo!

ENTOURAGE!! Choosing Entourage as our band for our reception was hands down the best decision that we made!!! They were INCREDIBLE!! Our wedding was over one month ago and our guests are still calling to say how amazing they were. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. My husband and I never left the dance floor because we were having so much fun.

Leslie Hunt is not only an amazing vocalist, but she is a dream to work with! When we met with her before the reception she had so many amazing ideas and knew exactly what she was doing. She did a wonderful job leading the entire night and made sure that everything ran smoothly. She worked so well with all of our other vendors and we cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work. Entourage knew exactly what music to play to keep the dance floor jam packed all night long. Jerome was incredible too! He invited myself and all of my bridesmaids up to the stage during one of the songs and it is something that we will all remember forever! We all had a blast!

If you are looking for a band at your wedding, which I highly suggest, you have to choose Entourage. If you want to have a blast at your wedding and if you want your guests to have a blast at your wedding, you have to choose Entourage. They are, without a doubt, the best decision that you will make for your reception. They are incredible and we are SO beyond happy with our decision :)!!

Entourage MADE our wedding! If you're looking for a band - look no further. Literally our guests were chanting for more after they announced it was the last song. Leslie was amazing to work with - so chill and helpful - especially given we were planning the wedding from North Dakota. She even executed a surprise song that my husband and his groomsmen danced too! We also wanted a few of our musical friends to join with the band at certain points and she made it happen. Truly the best and most memorable parts of our wedding were thanks to Entourage. Not only were they amazing to work with - but INCREDIBLY talented. My husband and I are musicians, so our standards are high - but Entourage exceeded our standards - by miles! Book them before it's too late!!!

Wow! Choosing Ken Arlen Orchestra's Front of House band was such an amazing decision! I have gotten so many compliments from our guests about the band and how much fun they had; paired with the fact that the dance floor was full all night, you know they did something right! They were great to work with - we met with them one time before the wedding to go over the basics...who they should announce with pronunciations, order of events, special dance songs, what kind of music we like (or want them to avoid), etc....and they did the rest! So easy for us and nice to not have to worry about anything when it came to the entertainment for the evening! They sounded amazing and brought such a great energy to our wedding - it was so fun for us to see all of our guests having such a great time....the playlist was perfect for the evening and kept people moving all night! They were definitely the highlight of an amazing night and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to blow their guests away with an amazing band for their special day...totally worth every penny!

Arlen Music's Skyline band was amazing. They were the perfect size to fit our budget and we could customize to add an additional instrument if needed.

Front of House rocked the house at our July 2014 wedding! First of all, this band sounds so perfect that I felt like the recordings of the originals were playing all night. I had a friend tell me she felt like Rihanna was actually present! We considered many bands and Front of House's sound and professionalism was unmatched. If you like their online samples, they sound even better in person! From the inquiry process, wedding planning meetings, last minute changes, and day of coordination and performances, the Ken Arlen Group and Front of House were absolutely professional and outright amazing to work with. David, the band leader, in addition to having a beautiful voice, musical versatility, and a fabulous MC personality, is very organized and experienced. He really understands how weddings flow and how to keep the dance floor packed all night long. We trusted his instincts and our dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. The group learned and perfectly performed our first dance song (without sheet music, but from a YouTube cover!) with ease as well as a few other tunes that weren't in their rotation list. They exceeded our every expectation, and we will be recommending them to every couple we know. Front of House is a class act that's worth every penny-- they were the highlight of the night and made our wedding an unforgettable night of fun and dancing! Go ahead and make the best decision of your wedding planning and book them now.

I know that the one thing everyone is going to remember from my wedding is how nice it was to have the group of violinist playing. I got so many compliments on it that I cant even count.
They were perfect and even when something went wrong because the flower girl didnt want to walk in and than decided to do it they improvised and no one could tell what had happened.

Hiring Ken Arlen's Skyline band was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They are top notch musicians and entertainers. They kept the energy and the dancing going at our Sunday evening wedding (yep, it's a tough crowd on Sundays).

Caitlin met with us prior to the wedding. She really listen to our likes and dislikes and helped us craft a ceremony and reception that worked for us. The band was flexible about learning new songs (I wanted to walk down the aisle to Here Comes the Sun) and did an amazing job of performing them.

On our wedding day, I think the band was actually at our venue before we were. They kept us on track with all of our timelines from the first dance to speeches and cake cutting. They also did a great job with Salvage One's strict time constraints on loading/unloading equipment. If you're thinking of going with Skyline (or any of the Ken Arlen bands), you won't be sorry.

We hired Front of House for our wedding at the Radisson Blu in March and they exceeded our very, very high expectations! They did a fantastic job of working the crowd and including fun dance music for guests of all ages and we have received nonstop compliments about how great they were! The group did a wonderful job of mixing in classics with our own contemporary favorites and the flow through the evening was perfect. I cannot speak more highly and would unconditionally recommend them.

Sign a contract with Indigo and never look back!

I actually booked them before I booked any other vendors. They played my little sister's wedding and it was one of the most fun nights of my life - I knew I wanted the same feeling at my wedding!

Dan and the rest of the Indigo team know how to own a room and keep people up and dancing for hours on end. They play such a well-balanced mix of music for every person - even the older people at our wedding were living it up!

On top of that, they're just an amazingly fun and kind group of people. Dan made sure that we were happy every step of the way, and he even had a bunch of suggestions that made our night even better.

I cannot say enough about them - and neither can all of the people who attended our wedding! I've already been asked for their contact info by 5 friends! Thanks so much, Indigo, for making our night so perfect!

Some weddings are all about the show, and others that are about the marriage and the celebration. For our event, the families took care of a meaningful wedding ceremony, and Caitlin Simone and Skyline did everything possible to make the rest of the evening an exceptional celebration. They personalized the evening for us and accommodated a few special musical plans meaningful to our family and friends. From the first song, the dance floor was packed, and it never emptied. We hope to see Skyline again at another St. Joe wedding for our younger daughter some day.

When deciding on a band and entertainment for our ceremony we had a many choices. We watched Front of House during a free concert and we were amazed; we brought some friends along who said it was more like a concert than a band! After meeting Mike Goldman with Arlen Music and his band leader David Sherman we knew we had the right team to make our event memorable.

We had a specific type of music we wanted played and they not only listened but came through for us. We also asked David to sing us a special song we had chosen during dinner and he made it fun and personal. Late in the evening they started to play music we didn't ask for, but everyone was having a great time - as he mentioned, he knows the feel of the crowd so it worked out great. But be sure to be specific to what you want to be sure they know.

They made us feel and our ceremony feel important to them and that it wasn’t going to be just another ceremony…it was going to be just as important to them as to us. What we didn’t want was another wedding band, we wanted our guests to feel like they were at a concert…and they sure did. Our guests were blown away by their sound & appearance.

We would certainly work with them again and would recommend them for anyone who wants a great, professional band who is able to customize to any event.

Arlen's 8-piece band, Entourage, was the band at our recent wedding reception at the Crystal Gardens on Navy Pier. We had an absolutely wonderful experience and could not have been more pleased.

To begin, the band is incredibly talented. Both lead vocalists hit it out of the park and the musicianship is second to none! David Young, the band leader, also had incredible polish (and was a wiz on the trumpet!); he was the perfect MC for our night. They set the perfect tone for the event and kept our guests dancing all night.

Our guests were (and still are) raving about the band - we couldn't be happier to have worked with them!

We used the band called Skyline and the band leader is Caitlin Simone. She was amazing helping us with the song selections and even learned some new songs that we had requested. Everyone commented all night long how amazing the band was and how all the vocalists were so strong. I work in the entertainment industry and so do many of our guests and everyone was blown away! We strongly recommend Skyline! You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I hired Arlen's Indigo (and various combinations thereof) to play all of the music at our wedding (pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception), and could not be happier with how beautiful they helped make our special event.

The way they arranged the various music for our ceremony (which varied from classical to folk) was beautiful, and we have never been to a wedding reception where more people--young, old, gay, straight, men, women--were dancing the ENTIRE evening. Our evening was beyond a blast, and Indigo was so easy to work with and so knowledgeable about every detail.

I cannot recommend working with Arlen Music Productions (and Indigo in particular) enough!!!

It seems as though giving five stars to Arlen Music Productions is simply not enough to explain what an amazing experience they made our wedding – from planning all the way through execution on our wedding day. I knew that booking a band was one of the most important decisions for our wedding, but didn’t know where to begin. My dad found Ken Arlen, and we were immediately smitten with their professionalism, ease in answering questions, extensive knowledge of the wedding industry, and the list could go on and on. In our planning meetings, Ken and Caitlin put me right at ease ensuring that I was in the most capable hands and truly took a lot of the planning stress off of us. I wasn’t sure how the flow of the wedding was supposed to go, and they took that right off of my plate and helped me schedule the evening minute by minute – and in a way that wouldn’t leave any long pockets of time without a raging party throughout the night. And aside from how great they were during the planning process, enough cannot be said on how unbelievable they were while performing. To say that our guests were obsessed with Skyline is an understatement. I had dozens of people come up to me and say that, hands down, it was the best wedding band they had ever seen and immediately asked a million questions as to how they could book the band for their own events. The dance floor was PACKED all night long without having to coerce people out there – the band had everyone dancing within seconds, and the party just never let up. They know how to read the crowd and play the right song at the exact right moment. Their vocals are incredible, their energy and vibe amazing, and overall, they are incredibly kind, accommodating, and smart wedding professionals. Hiring Ken Arlen’s Skyline was definitely one of the smartest wedding planning decisions I made, and one I would make a million times over. Thank you so much for everything, Caitlin, Ken, and team! You guys are truly the best in town.

Indigo performed at our wedding and did a fabulous job! We received so many compliments from our guests - they couldn't believe how talented the band was and how they were able to play such a diverse set of songs. Dan was great to work with - very responsive and professional and he did a great job pronouncing all the Indian names :) Hiring a live band was one of the best wedding-related decisions we made. Thank you!

If you want a wedding where everyone is out of their seat and on the dance floor thoroughly engaged with the party and having a fantastic time, then the The Ken Arlen Orchestra is the band for you. It is money well spent. ...it is money extremely well spent. They are professional, helpful and friendly. Without a doubt the wedding was made even more memorable because of the amazing time ALL the guests had.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would....and so would all our guests.

David and the entire Entourage band were amazing. My dad and I met David for the initial meeting and were hooked immediately. David was fun to work with and had lots of great suggestions. My fiancé (now husband) and I wanted a reception full of fun and dancing. David understood what we were going for and totally delivered. All night people were coming up to us telling us how great the band was. Music ranged from oldies to present. There was something for all of our guests to enjoy. Entourage is not a cheesy wedding band, but instead a group of incredibly talented musicians who know how to keep a party going. We highly recommend them!!!!

We used one of Arlen's newest bands, Skyline, for our 11/3/2012 wedding in Chicago-- we and our guests were so impressed! At first, we were a little nervous, as they were a newer band and we were not able to hear many samples of their music. However, we knew that Arlen is a reputable company and only has great musicians employed. Also, after meeting with Caitlyn, the lead singer, we were put to ease with her fun yet professional demeanor. She was amazing with her song suggestions and talked us through the planning process. For the actual wedding day, Caitlyn MC'd throughout the evening and did a fabulous job. The band was amazing with their song selections and did a great job keeping everyone happy on the dance floor. The band has a great look and has talented musicians that are able perform both Motown and today's hits equally well! We had an amazing experience with Skyline and definitely recommend this band!

We hired Front of House for our wedding in Chicago this Fall and could not have been happier! They had performed at my sisters wedding a few years earlier so we knew how awesome they were but I think they've gotten even better since then! The dance floor was packed the entire evening and we got so many compliments from our guests. I don't think anyone sat down the entire evening and they had great transitions between songs so that there were no awkward pauses. David, the band leader was great to work with and was really easy-going about learning a few special songs for us. He was also great as a master of ceremonies and kept the night moving along very easily. The entire Arlen team was really easy to work with too and we didn't feel like we had to worry about anything leading up to our big day. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-energy and fun band to keep the dance floor full the entire night!

The decision to hire Indigo was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. They are well worth the expense. We were so impressed with Dan and the entire band. They were so accommodating and a dream to work with. They were wonderful musicians and really knew how to read the crowd. It felt like we were at a live concert; they are not your typical cheesy wedding band. We highly recommend Indigo!

We are just about to leave for our honeymoon and I wanted to take a quick second to thank you and Indigo for putting on such an amazing show. Really from the start of the wedding during the ceremony the tone was set that this was going to be a fantastic night. Everything you guys did was perfect and we enjoyed every second. I loved the Call Me Al, Coldplay, even the Phish during dinner. You guys really killed it!! Thank you so much for everything you guys put into the night, you have a very wonderful band and it was even better than we expected. All of our friends have been telling us how great you guys were. If you are looking for a wedding band that will not quit and will give its all, look no further. We owe a majority of the energy created throughout the night to these guys. Dan Nicholson is the perfect band leader and is not one to take the spot light away from the happy couple. Would use them 10 times out of 10.

We chose Entourage for our wedding, and they were magnificent! Professional, yet personable,I would highly recommend this band to anyone! Everyone loved the music and danced all night! We couldn't have done better, that's for sure.

We went to Arlen Music and looked at several of the bands they manage. We knew what kind of sound/energy we were looking for and were drawn to 2-3 of their selections. After hearing Entourage perform at the Taste of Chicago, we decided they were exactly what we wanted. Anyways, they were perfect at both the ceremony and at the reception. We had three instrumental songs performed for the ceremony that were on the pop side and then at the reception, they killed it with motown, R&B and modern hits. Everybody loved them!

The Ken Arlen Orchestra is, quite simply, the best in the business. There is simply no other private-event band that matches KAO in term of quality of sound, musicianship and performance. They will rock your world.

We worked with Ken to play at our wedding at Café Brauer and we could not have been more pleased with KAO. They can play such a broad range of music - blues, pop, klezmer, etc etc- and every song they pull off with high energy and total perfection. Ken is extraordinarily talented at "reading crowds," building energy and maintaining momentum throughout the entire night. Ken also took several of our special requests and performed them perfectly and flawlessly. All night (and ever since the big day), I kept hearing people rave about how amazing the band was.

If you want a wedding band that will truly "wow" your guests (and keep them on the dance floor all night) - KAO is the one. Of course, it does come at a price. For the best show in town, you do have to buck up a pretty penny. That said, I personally could not think of a better, or more important, place to splurge. Ken will deliver.

Front of House played at our wedding and it was made the night into a fabulous evening. They sound so goo, that sometime I would forget that I was listening to a band! People are still giving us compliments a month later on Front of House. They were also extremely flexible and let me husband choose every song to be played during the wedding. But, if you want less work, they have a really good standard list that they can play from as well. If you can book them, get them!

FRONT OF HOUSE WAS BEYOND AMAZING!! they had family members up and dancing that I didn't know knew how to dance. From every age range to music taste they played something for everyone!! All of their voices were even more amazing in person and my husband and i knew when we hired them they were great but we were blewn away by how good they were. They exceeded our expections!

Best part of my wedding hands down was Indigo. I had so many people come up to me and say that this was the best band they'd ever heard at a wedding. Dan was an amazing bandleader and I just had so much fun. And my parents absolutely loved them, too!

My husband and I were EXTREMELY satisfied with the band Entourage! I have never witnessed so much talent, enthusiasm and professionalism on one stage! From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely felt so honored to have Entourage perform on our wedding night! We saw some people on the dance floor that we have never seen dance before!

Hands down, Entourage absolutely was the main reason our wedding night was so unforgettable.

The Ken Arlen Orchestra (KAO) recently played at my wedding (in Sep'10) and words cannot describe how talented this group is! Music was one of my now-husband and my top priorities, so we did a ton of research on bands during the planning process. One of the things that stood out to me about the KAO was the fact that they were the only band that I spoke with that did not allow couples that were considering them to check them out at other weddings. I was really impressed with this as I would not want a random couple "crashing" my wedding to listen to the band. Instead, we listened to their samples on the website and then went in to the band's office to meet Ken and watched a video of a wedding they played at. We were floored when we walked out and decided that we needed this band at our wedding and wow, did we make the right choice! We met with Ken again soon before the wedding to discuss our musical tastes and I was so impressed with his attention to detail as he laid out a timeline for the night. The night of the wedding, the band literally made the party! We had the Sirens perform during dinner and they were spectacular! They added a comfortable, fun atmosphere to an elegant evening. Whe the orchestra came on. I honestly did not want to leave the dance floor for one song for fear I'd miss a second of their outstanding performance. They were so energetic and kept the dance floor packed all night. The highlight of the night for me and my husband was when Ken let my younger brother join the band on the guitar while they played "Sweet Home Chicago." I will never hear that song again without going back to that moment. The KAO is the absolute best wedding band in Chicago and I can't tell you how many notes and calls I received from guests after the wedding who felt the same way!

Indigo was amazing! Our dance floor was packed from the beginning to the end of the night! Toni was so easy to work with, they were willing to learn any songs that we wanted that was not on their playlist. We received so many compliments from our guests on the band and have had 3 of our guests ask for their information so they could book them for their wedding - I think that proves what a great band they really are!

Let me just preface this review by sayig that they played at the Bush inaugural ball 4 years ago...whether we like Bush or not that is impressive. Ken is a master at his art. His musicians are all excellent and professional. I have never heard a band play some songs so true to their original sound, it was scarry. Ken is a perfectionist, and a visionary. He sees music in everything, and is wonderful at helping pick out key songs for the wedding. You will not be dissappointed.

Indigo was awesome. Every song they performed sounded just like the original band recording. Toni, the band's leader, sat down with me a few weeks before the wedding to plan out the schedule for the entire day. She coordinated beautifully with the hotel and the kitchen staff to make sure the evening ran smoothly. The band was also willing to learn every song I wanted that wasn't on their play list, and they performed them well!

We are still on a high after such a great night of music, dancing, and performances by Entourage of Arlen Music Productions.
First, let me start with David Young’s control of the evening. PERFECT. David is such a talented musician, but very importantly for a wedding, a seasoned Emcee. He has such an engaging personality with a ready smile that lights up the room and he is so ready to please: LOVED HIM! He was able to make our wedding a truly fun evening without stress by keeping us all on schedule with speeches, blessings, and special toasts flowing smoothly throughout the night.
From the start of the party at 7pm, David was able to get our crowd dancing to current music and not a single table sat back to just watch. Our guests were even aware of this and many came to comment about how enjoyable Entourage was making the reception. The dance floor was always full, everyone was dancing at one time or another, and all age groups seemed excited to be dancing to the music selections. And not only was David able to keep the music in high gear, but he was also so adept at not drawing all the attention on himself. He did not make our wedding a concert, at least not at the beginning, and he clearly made the families and the Bride and Groom the center of attention.
But let me also mention David Young and Entourage’s musical abilities. The Bride was initially concerned during the planning stage, because we refused one thing to her, and that was we were not going to have a DJ. She felt that the music from a live band would not be hip and new enough to keep her younger crowd happy. But, at the end of the night, both our daughter and our new son-in-law came up to us individually and told us it was the BEST wedding either had ever attended. So many guests told us the same. SKYLINE = THE VERY BEST
We are still recovering from our 12/29/12 wedding with Skyline, because we had so much fun. From the very first interaction with Arlen Music, it was evident that they knew how to put on a fabulous event. They listened to our requests, understood our budget, and put us at complete ease. We had a fairly big group of our closest friends and family, 275, and wanted to make sure every single person could enjoy the music, which they did. Caitlin, who I just adore, made sure that the night flowed perfectly and made our guests feel special with her MC skills. The group not only played such a WIDE variety, from The Band, Temptations, Rihanna, Grateful Dead, but timed the songs so well that it kept the dance floor absolutely packed the entire evening. If you are looking for a professional, sweet, compassionate, talented group of people, here they are. They made our wedding one that we will never forget, and many of our friends are stating was the "most fun they've ever had at a reception, EVER."

Entourage rocks! Band leader D. Young and his group hit it out of the park at our daughter's wedding (manganaro-smith) april 20 at the pfister hotel in milwaukee.

the group played for just more than 3 hours--nonstop! the dance floor was packed every single minute. what a great blend of music, too... nothing schmaltzy like "YMCA" and those stale wedding staples. as a bonus, mr. young welcomed one of the church musicians, chuck smith, uncle of groom michael manganaro, to bring his trombone up to play. chuck loved every single minute of it, and it looked to me like the band was thrilled to have him up there with them.

i have never heard such a fantastic wedding band before, ever. many people i am hearing from are saying the exact same thing. what a talented bunch. and also very personable. mr. young handled the MC duties superbly and with much class.

the entire day was so memorable. in fact, the bar was raised pretty high come 9 p.m., but entourage only made the entire ceremony that much more special and memorable. what a group!

i highly recommend this band to play at any event, especially weddings. please thank mr. young and the band members. we will forever sing their praises and we will never forget the energy, passion, fun, and total class they brought to all of us on one of the best days of our lives! god they were good!

I used Arlen's 8 person band Entourage for my wedding after seeing their larger band perform at a friends wedding. I will say that the performances of their bands are fantastic across the board and that you are in good hand no matter which band you work with.

However, I am partial to Entourage for their amazing range of music, polished sound, and professional yet fun band leader David. He was such a pleasure to work with in preparation of the wedding and really energized the dance floor at the reception. I would highly recommend working with Arlen Music Consultants to any bride

We used Front of House from Arlen Music for our wedding. They were a bit expensive, but everyone raved about the band after our wedding. They did an amazing job! The only thing I would warn about is asking them to learn a song. We were told that we just needed to tell them ahead of time and they would learn our song, so I gave them months notice and it was obvious that they didn't know the song well enough to perform it on the day of our wedding. It wasn't a huge deal, but just a heads up for future brides. Other than that, all three singers were amazing - didn't miss a note. We also used two violins and a piano for our ceremony and cocktail hour and it was just beautiful.

This review is for Entourage Band. Don’t be deceived by the description on the website and large song list.

ENTOURAGE review: They will only play the generic wedding set despite their large and “unique” song list even after having conversations with the lead on what types of songs from their song list we preferred. We even went through an entire exercise crossing off songs we did did not want played and others we definitely wanted. They ignored our conversation and this exercise completely and we made sure to not cross off too many songs. They are very talented and our guests had a good time but it was a far cry from what we expected and wish we hired someone else. For the amount of money a band costs, you’d think they would cater a little more to the preference of the couple and it’s not like we asked for anything special or separate from the song list they sent.
