We knew from the second we met Phil and Gwen that we had found the perfect officiants. They both took the time to get to know us as a couple and made sure we felt comfortable with everything prior to the big day. We came across Phil and Gwen because they were the preferred vendors through our wedding venue. They were absolutely amazing to work with. Gwen reached out to us to schedule a time to meet Phil so he could get to know us and what we wanted our ceremony to be all about. Once we met him we were over the moon with their services, there's definitely a reason they are Stone Bridge Manors preferred vendor. He took time to understand who our other vendors were and plan out our ceremony. He is very humorous and really fit the feeling we wanted of our ceremony perfectly. We were so happy with our small ceremony! Organized with Gwen over the phone, and officiated by Phillip.They were fast, efficient, and accommodating, even with a relatively last-minute wedding over the holidays, and made the whole process easy. More importantly, the ceremony itself was wonderful--an adorable venue that accommodated our family members, and a really heartwarming reading by Phillip at the beginning of the ceremony. Nice folks who seem to really care about the people whose weddings they officiate. If you're looking for something that's small and simple, but also beautiful, warm, and meaningful, I highly recommend getting married here!

While we were planning our destination wedding, we ran into great difficulty with finding the perfect officiant for our wedding day. After some searching, we came across Arizona Ministers and knew we needed to contact them. After a wonderful phone call, we knew immediately that we wanted to have Phil officiate our wedding. Our experience with both Phil and Gwen was professional, positive and seamless especially with planning everything from a far. Phil did an amazing job on our wedding day and had the perfect balance of combining our values with his words. Phil was personal, meaningful, natural and his overall disposition was beyond genuine. We even had guests come up to us thinking we had known Phil for years! There is nothing we would have changed with how our ceremony went and it was everything we hoped (and more!).

Phil was amazing. You can tell he is an expert in his field. The ceremony was so important to us and we wanted to make sure we found someone who paid attention to the little details, cared to ask how we envisioned our ceremony going and made us feel comfortable and Phil exceeded our expectations. He made our ceremony flow seamlessly and we couldn’t be more grateful. We are so happy we found Phil to officiant our special day. We can not recommend him more!!

The Best of the Best
We had the pleasure of being married by Gwen Waring. While we had not known Pastor Gwen well, we were very impressed with her services. We had our initial meeting with Pastor Gwen and she was so personable, we felt as though we had known her for ages. During the ceremony, she conveyed our message of love to our attendees in the most simplistic and caring manner. We had attendees approach us saying "they loved our minister...how long have we been going their church." When I shared that we had only recently met, they were surprised at our well she know US and made the message so personal. I'd highly recommend their services.

Phil was amazing and the wedding service was perfect!
We were planning a wedding in Paradise Valley (and we lived in Kentucky.) Phil and Gwen were so easy to work with throughout the entire process. They communicated efficiently and clearly. Prior to our arrival, Phil and I had a conference call to get to know each other and so that I could share a bit about myself and my future husband. It was a great touch, and the wedding ended up being absolutely perfect. It literally was the most stress free and perfect day that we have ever had or possibly could have imagined for our wedding day. Phil's words were spot on during the wedding, and he was such a great sport during photos even though the early morning heat was already at 105 degrees. Highly recommend him and his company for any and all weddings.

Exceptional Officiant
Gwen provided exceptional service and guidance for our wedding ceremony. She walked us through the ceremony steps multiple times beforehand. She fully respected our wishes for the type of ceremony we wanted. Even better, she provided helpful guidance for our vows and the types of readings to consider. Many of our guests complimented after the ceremony shared their compliments for how great Gwen was as our officiant.We would recommend her in every respect!

Horseshoe Bend Wedding
Phil was fantastic! My husband and I wanted a short and sweet ceremony for our destination wedding, and Phil gave us exactly what we were looking for! Amazing wedding at an amazing price
Phil did a wonderful job officiating our wedding. He was friendly and personable and he respected our wishes for everything about the ceremony. He and Gwen guided us through the process, presenting options we would not otherwise have considered. We originally had planned to do an elopement at the Grand Canyon, but after discussion with Phil we ended up deciding to do it outdoors in Sedona with Cathedral Rock in the background, and we could not be happier with the decision. We had a brief, intimate ceremony in a truly beautiful place. Communication throughout was excellent. I literally do not have a single negative word to say about the services Phil and Gwen provided.

Beautiful Ceremony
Phil performed the most beautiful ceremony for our wedding! He made the experience so personal and meaningful, unlike the standard monotone speech you expect to hear at weddings. Phil is very sweet and accommodating. He and his wife, Gwen, were excellent about keeping in contact during the planning process and ensuring everything was ready to go ahead of time. For a beautiful and memorable wedding ceremony, I highly recommend Arizona Ministers.

We are so happy we chose Arizona Ministers to officiate our wedding. Phil Waring was wonderful! Phil took time to get to know us and customize our ceremony based on our personal story of how we met and what brought us together. As we talked with Phil, I was amazed at how much Phil and I had in common and how well he understood me and my bride to be. I believe things happen for a reason and it was as if God placed Phil in our lives at that moment to make our wedding perfect! Gwen was amazing!
My wife and I had an intimate destination (we're from Canada) wedding ceremony at a private residence in Scottsdale, Arizona. The vision for our ceremony was 'romantic' and 'non-religious', and Gwen executed this beautifully. She provided us with some guidance on the words and readings to choose, and she also memorized and recited a quote/reading we provided her the day before our ceremony. Gwen's suggestions, planning, and impeccable attention to detail made us feel as relaxed as possible in the lead up to our ceremony. This was especially important to us as we planned our Scottsdale wedding from our home in Canada. It was a pleasure to meet her, and we're very appreciative for how she enriched our special and memorable day.

Wonderful Experience
Phil was one of the highlights of our wedding. He really got to know us during our counseling session and he made our ceremony so personal to our relationship. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and cares about each one of the couples he marries. The way he talks about Gwen also shows you how much value he puts in love and marriage. During the ceremony, he knows exactly where to add a touch of humor to lighten the mood. If we ever do a vow renewal, Phil will be who I call!

When we first started looking for an officiant we were nervous about not finding the right person. We wanted someone that would understand us and our family and the message we wanted to share with everyone. Gwen Waring eased our nerves and the unknown of what to expect in your officiant. She was amazing! She is definitely a professional and you can tell the experience she has. She wasn’t just mediocre she understood both of us, spoke with so much compassion and never once had to look at any words on a sheet of paper. She was flawless with everything! After our ceremony we actually had quite a few people approach us and tell us that Gwen married them as well and how amazing she is. I would highly recommend going with Gwen Waring!

From beginning to end, I had nothing but great experiences and good things to say about Phil and Gwen Waring. Phil did an incredible job at during our ceremony and many friends and family complimented us on his service. Gwen was great about communicating with us through email/phone and made sure that everything went smoothly. That's one thing you can appreciate through all the stresses of wedding planning. You can tell that these two have a lot of experiences with weddings over the years and it made me that much more confident in our decision. Overall, Phil and Gwen were amazing people to work with! If you are looking for an officiant to your wedding, Phil and Gwen are the team you want.
Since my husband and I do not live in AZ, all correspondence had to be handled via email and phone, which I was a little worried about at first. However, whether is was email, phone call, or text, we were able to easily work out every detail prior to the big day with ease. During our first phone meeting, Phil asked us what we did and didn't want, if and how religious we were, if we wanted to write our own vows, a little bit about us personally, and even walked us through the ceremony (it felt like a practice run the of the real thing), which really put my mind at ease about the ceremony and what he intended to say. Through the entire process, both Phil and Gwen made sure we were comfortable and happy. On the day of the ceremony, Phil speech was so beautiful and moving, it made everyone in our small party teary-eyed at one point. He went through the speech exactly how we asked, and even related the speech to the ceremony location (the Grand Canyon).

We reached out to Gwen and Phil 2 months before our wedding hoping they could perform our ceremony at the Grand Canyon. We thought it was going to be more difficult since it was very last minute but they let us know our options and worked with us to chose a perfect date. Gwen was amazing setting it all up. She was always really friendly and listened to what we wanted. We spoke to Phil a month before the date and went over the details of our ceremony. My husband and I both teared up listening to Phil go over the beautiful ceremony he had planned. The day of, Phil was on time and had us all teary eyed by the end of the ceremony. We could not have asked for a better Officiant. It was beautiful and everything we could have asked for.

We had our minister cancel on us just weeks before the wedding. When Gwen said she was available we breathed a sigh of relief. But not only did she show up, the ceremony was sweet, heartfelt, and everything we could have asked for. She was professional from beginning to end, coordinating with the deejay and making sure my father knew how to give me away. She also took the marriage license to get certified the Monday after the wedding, saving a lot of headache. Highly recommended!

Gwen is so patient and kind, she had to follow up with us before our wedding a couple of times even sometimes I forget to, which showed that she care, take her job and people's wedding very serious, we loved the wedding vow she provided and we had to ask her for a copy after our ceremony, we will keep those words with us forever and read it from time to time to remind us what marriage is.

We knew from the moment that Gwen suggested we arrange a conference call to ensure we were able to ask questions and get to know her that we were well on our way to finding the perfect officiant for our wedding. As Phoenix was a destination for us, Gwen's ability to listen to exactly what we wanted, interpret what would work for us and outstanding professionalism ensured that the ceremony was fantastic. I thought I was very organized with planning our wedding, but that changed when I realized two weeks out I didn't have anyone to officiate. I searched and searched with no luck, then I found AZ Wedding Ministers. I called, and when Gwen answered, my stress immediately faded. When we met in person for our consultation I knew we made the right choice. Gwen gets to know you, your partner, and really takes everything you have to say into consideration. We wanted a lighthearted ceremony with small serious moments, and what she provided went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. With my luck our outdoor wedding became an indoor wedding from a torrential downpour. Gwen not only made the best of it, she made us forget we were supposed to be outside in the first place! Thank you so much Gwen for giving us beautiful memories to hold on to. I would absolutely recommend AZ ministers to everyone. They can do it all!

My husband and I were just recently married in March 2017 with Gwen as our officiant - I gave her 5 stars on everything because she honestly made everything about the wedding ceremony go 1000x smoother! Both her and her husband run Arizona Ministers and they are very well organized, know what they're doing as they've done tons of weddings before, and are quick to respond to emails and calls. I would highly recommend them for any wedding ceremony!

Gwen Waring is wonderful. We are an older couple that had been together for 23 years. We live out of state, and we wanted to have a short, secular, semi-casual wedding while we were vacationing in Phoenix with our extended family. Gwen asked for our input, presented options, and then created exactly the ceremony we wanted. She is experienced, calm, and warm, and she even had practical tips about photographs and "staging." We could not be happier with her service.

Gwen did a fabulous job with our wedding. She is very professional and has a great feel for how a ceremony should be conducted. We certainly enjoyed her sense of humor which allowed everyone to relax. She gets our highest recommendation.

Phil and Gwen were wonderful to work with prior to the wedding as well as during! We were unsure about a sand or unity candle ceremony during the wedding, then Phil suggested the golden rope/knot ceremony that was perfect for us! At our wedding, we signed the marriage license before the ceremony and Phil was warm and funny and put everyone at ease during this nerve-wracking day. During our ceremony, he was well spoken and eloquent and all he said was from the heart, he never once read any notes! Throughout the rest of the day and even after, various family and friends mentioned how great the ceremony was and how impressed they were with Phil. One of my engaged bridesmaids also loved the rope/knot ceremony and will be using it in her wedding next year. Thanks so much Arizona Ministers for making our wedding ceremony a memorable success!

Gwen was the officiant at our wedding, and she was amazing. She does such an excellent job, and she was fantastic at letting us all know where we needed to be and what we needed to be doing. Our ceremony space was unfortunately loud, and she just spoke up and kept going. She was incredibly professional, but made us feel so important and special. I’m very thankful that we found Arizona Ministers for our big day!

Gwen made sure our wedding ceremony went off perfectly. Her professionalism was most appreciated as she guided us through our special service. Gwen is a pro at organizing the ceremony and putting all at ease. Gwen chose the perfect words to say , including the words we chose to express how we were feeling. Our ceremony was perfect. We didn’t read any reviews of Arizona Ministers prior. From the first email to Gwen she was very prompt and receptive with my many questions. The dates were booked and the venue changed but she was able to accommodate us.
We had a very simple ceremony and were expecting that from our officiant Phil. We were so pleasantly surprised by the thought and input he put into our ceremony! It really MADE our ceremony. You always think back about the day and we definitely will always have the best memories of what a special day it was because of the special words.

Phil was a WONDERFUL officiant for our wedding!!! He met with us beforehand and got to know us, and then performed a truly wonderful ceremony that everyone later commented on saying how great it was. He tailored everything in the ceremony according to how we wanted it, and included some very special personal touches. It was the perfect length, was beautiful and heartfelt and there wasn't a dry eye in the house! They also hand deliver your marriage license to the court, making it that much easier for you in the post wedding period. Thank you Phil and Gwen, you are both wonderful!

Gwen genuinely conveys the impression that she loves marrying couples. She transcends any notion that ministers preside over a ceremonies for their own personal gain. In other words, she becomes wholly concerned and part of the process, while certainly not becoming so part of the process that she loses understanding of her role. Simply, she is exactly what I believe most of us want in a ministerial ceremony-a professional that takes pride in their work, knows their role, and cares about the couple being married.

Arizona Minsters was and is amazing! We truly enjoyed our experience with them. Phil, our officiant, is a total natural and has a passion for what he does. Gwen and Phil were both amazing, from the rehearsal and everything leading up to the wedding, to the ceremony, and then to the follow-up. Outstanding, nothing else we could have asked for.
