We got married in the Hudson Valley in October, with multiple stops throughout the day (hotel, church, reception), so we knew we needed a true expert—someone nimble, creative, and able to seize every photo opportunity along the way. Sam was that and so much more.
We initially fell in love with her portfolio because of how effortlessly she plays with natural elements—and she absolutely delivered. We were lucky enough to have gorgeous sunshine and a full moon on our wedding day, and Sam knew exactly how to capture and utilize both to their fullest potential. She has an incredible eye for natural daylight, creating warm, romantic, and luminous images, and she somehow made the moonlight feel just as magical. The photos she captured under the full moon are some of our absolute favorites—dreamy, cinematic, and completely breathtaking.
Beyond her talent behind the camera, Sam made us feel so comfortable and at ease all day long. She expertly shepherded our entire group through a busy, multi-location schedule without missing a beat, all while keeping the energy calm and joyful.
We also worked with her for our engagement photos during an outdoor connection session, which made us even more confident we were in the best hands. She has an amazing ability to make moments feel natural and authentic—and then turn them into stunning, timeless images.
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. If you want someone who understands light, movement, and magic, Sam is it. -

The moment we met Sam it was obvious she had to be our photographer. Absolutely everyone loved her and she did an incredible job of being everywhere to capture every moment! She made us both feel so comfortable from our engagement shoot, to helping plan the entire wedding day flow (it really is like hiring a wedding planner with a photographer!!!), and making everyone feel welcomed, excited, and feeling beautiful.

From the moment we first spoke with Sam, we knew immediately we found our wedding photographer. Booking her was the first and best decision we made in our entire planning process. She also shot our engagement session, which was a fantastic way to get comfortable in front of her camera and got us even more excited for her to photograph our wedding day.
Sam's vivacious energy is truly infectious; she is the coolest person in the room and someone you instantly want to be friends with. This warmth and enthusiasm translate into her ability to make anyone feel comfortable and authentic behind the lens. She has an innate talent for capturing the very essence of every moment without making anything seem forced or posed.
Beyond her incredible photography skill, she is a master of organization and execution. She was an incredible director when it came to herding family and friends for group shots, keeping everyone on track without ever losing her magnetic cheerfulness, and she had my dress bustled in under 60 seconds! She was always ready to do whatever it took to make sure we got the best shots.
The photo album we recieved absolutely blew us away. She got every shot we wanted and then some and truly captured every beautiful moment of the day. We will without a doubt cherish these photos for the rest of our lives.
We wholeheartedly recommend Sam to any couple looking for a photographer who is both a master of her craft and an absolute joy to be around! -

Sam is the absolute best in the business. Her artistry is unparalleled - from the way that she captures playful movement to how she perfectly harnesses the light, her work is pure MAGIC. It’s been almost two weeks since Sam sent us our sneak peek/teaser photos from our wedding, and I cannot stop looking at them. They are PERFECTION.
Not only does Sam create the most STUNNING photographs, but she is the coolest and kindest person you will ever meet. We had the best time hanging out with her on our wedding day, as did many of our guests who specifically told us that they thought she was amazing. And they were 100% correct.
Sam knows all there is to know about weddings and was integral in making our day perfect. When I needed advice on how to make something happen, Sam was there. When I needed to tell someone “no,” but didn’t want to be the one to do it - Sam was there. When I didn’t know how to pee in my dress - Sam was there with a solution. When I needed a lipstick touch-up or my essential oils - Sam was there and ready! SHE IS A QUEEN and will be the best friend you have ever had on your wedding day.
Before finding Sam, choosing a wedding photographer was the to-dos I was most nervous about. My husband hates being the center of attention, particularly with a camera pointed at him, and I hate stuffy posed photos that make your face hurt after fake smiling for way too long. It seemed like that was all I could find at first, though. But then, the stars aligned, and after looking at a venue in the Catskills, I found Arius Photography on a preferred vendor list and immediately fell in love with Sam’s style. Ultimately, I ended up getting married just outside Boston, and was over the moon that Sam was willing to travel to my venue.
A few months before our wedding, my husband, pup, and I also took a trip to the Hudson Valley for our connection session with Sam, which I 1000% recommend to couples who want a little photo-shoot warm-up before their big day. Of course, Sam also slayed that session and sent us photos that I will cherish until the day I die. (If you are a pet-owner, you should also know that one of Sam’s special powers is capturing your pet like they have never been captured in a photograph before.) WORKS OF ART.
I love this woman and hope sincerely that our paths cross again. You’d be a dummy not to hire her. Look no further, you have found the right human for the job. Sam was born to make art with her camera, featuring you and your great love(s). THANK YOU, SAM!!! -

Wedding confidant, coach, cheerleader... AND amazing photographer
I’ll start with the cliché: “I don’t usually post reviews.” It’s true—I value my privacy and prefer to keep some wonderful things within my inner circle. But I feel compelled to shout from the mountaintops about how incredible Sam June (Arius Photography) is.
To give some context, my husband and I work in entertainment, so we look at professional photos daily. For us to be blown away, the work has to be exceptional. And let me tell you, our wedding photos are really exceptional. Sam wasn’t just my favorite wedding vendor; she truly elevated our wedding experience—as a professional, a friend, a cheerleader, and so much more.
Before the Wedding:
From the start, Sam’s communication was flawless. We connected via Zoom shortly after reaching out, and the fact that she was at the Tucson Gem Show during that time gave me a hint that our personalities would click. Her responses were always prompt and clear, and she laid out exactly what to expect—how many meetings we’d have, when they’d happen, what she needed from me, and so on. Every step was seamless.
Beyond logistics, Sam became my coach and confidant for all things wedding-related. She had a wonderful relationship with my venue, knowing their ins and outs - even secret photo spots that other photographers may not have access to. Whether I needed advice on local vendors or how to handle certain wedding details, she was candid, kind, and drama-free. She brought real, honest insights based on her experience, always delivered with a supportive and understanding attitude. I didn’t have a bridal party, but I felt like I had the world’s best honorary maid of honor in her. I made my hiring decisions based on one criterion: “Is this someone I’d want to invite to my wedding and spend the whole day with?” Sam was all that and more.
The Wedding Day:
By the time the wedding day arrived, I was genuinely excited to hug her. Her positivity, energy, and excitement filled the room while still making me feel like the star. She guided the day effortlessly, maintaining the same calm and supportive presence I’d come to rely on. My friends loved her immediately—some overly focused on “posing right,” but Sam put them at ease while offering simple, helpful tips.
And then there was her artistry. During the ceremony and reception, Sam was a ninja. In just a few minutes, she captured multiple angles, sometimes climbing onto a chair or dashing across the room—all without being intrusive or distracting. In those rare quiet moments of the day, Sam was there too, helping my husband and me pause, breathe, and connect. She made sure we stayed present and soaked in those intimate moments.
The Final Product:
The photos are breathtaking. I had one main priority: to capture the joy and happiness of all our people. Sam delivered beyond expectations. It feels like we have a photo of every single guest caught in a candid, joyful moment. Her use of color and light is stunning. We had a chilly fall day, and she made the foliage and colors look like something out of a dream. The photos make us laugh, cry, and even see little moments we missed during the day. Choosing which ones to include in our album will be HARD!
Sam is an amazing wedding photographer, but she wasn’t just that. We feel like we’ve gained a lifelong friend, and we can’t wait for her to capture future milestones with us.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Sam. We had the opportunity to have her photograph our connection session as well as our wedding day. Sam made us feel really comfortable...no awkward poses! Sam was the first vendor we booked. From the moment I saw her photos I knew I absolutely needed her for our day. From our very first call, there was an instant connection and I knew she was going to be so much more than my wedding photographer. We just spoke the same language. Throughout the entire planning process she was a guiding light, helping us with the timeline and prioritizing how we wanted the day to feel. On the day itself, she kept everything on even ahead of schedule and worked expertly around the rain! She kept me calm, protected my space, and allowed us to be fully present with our people. Sam from Arius Photography is the real deal. She is absolutely incredible in her talents and ability to capture authentic, beautiful moments. When I look back at my gallery, I FEEL my wedding day. BOOK HER. BEST decision EVER!!!
Sam was the best person we could’ve had alongside us during our special day. Her business sense, efficiency, direction, artistic vision, and her impeccable energy - 1000/10. She did my complex French bustle on my dress, dealt with funky family dynamics, kept us on time, was practically a wedding planner, and did everything with the highest level of detail and intent. Her communication leading up to the wedding was a game changer. We had a coordinator but Sam ultimately is the one who came up with the schedule that we ended up using. She felt like a true friend the entire day and night. Her excitement helped my husband and me feel comfortable and happy the entire day. I HATE pictures of myself and being in front of the camera but I've never felt more comfortable than I was with Sam. I could write a book about my experience with Sam. I am convinced she is the best photographer and woman in the world. Don't second guess booking her for even a second!!!!

Sam June is simply an artist. There is an undeniable coolness with her vibe and an authenticity she brings to her work. From the first phone call, through the delivery of our wedding album, Sam shows a passion for her clients and is genuinely able to connect on a deep level through her photography. We were lucky enough to have her genius to capture our wedding day. We had heavy rain the majority of our October wedding in the Hudson Valley, which Sam navigated beautifully at Red Maple Vineyard. Do you know that you probably spend just as much, if not more, time with your photographer than you do your significant other on your wedding day?! With that being the case, you better pick right. Enter, Sam June! She is an amazing artist, an amazing human, and someone you want by your side during your big day. Sam is the type of person you instantly feel comfortable with.
Sam is the type of person who will email you to check in and reassure you the day before your wedding because she sees the weather forecast and she KNOWS you’ve been obsessively checking (spoiler alert: it rained, and we ran around in the mud and didn’t even care). She is the type of person who will wrap you in a big hug when she sees you that morning and you instantly feel calmer than you did before she got there. She is the type of person who will climb through any terrain to get the best angle for a photo. She is the type of person who will make your friends and family feel comfortable behind the camera, will handle rowdy guests with ease and humor, and will be by your side all day hyping you up. She is the type of person who is prepared for all situations. Did you get blood all over the bottom of your dress right before you’re about to walk down the aisle? NO PROBLEM. Sam will fly into action, keep you calm, know the remedy (your own spit apparently gets out your own blood) and will have your dress back to new in under 10 minutes. She is the type of person who will be breaking it down on the dancefloor with you while also managing to get SO MANY PHOTOS. She’s the type of person who will have you crying while writing your review, because you feel so lucky to have gotten to work with her. You will get it all with Sam—a true professional, an incredible artist with a creative eye, someone who finds the picture perfect moments within your day instead of manufacturing and overly posing them, and a gallery full of the best photographs you’ve ever seen and that you will cherish forever.

Samantha of Arius Photography will exceed your photography expectations! My husband and I cannot recommend her enough. From our engagement shoot to the day of the wedding, Samantha always kept us in the loop, was extremely professional, and most of all, the warmest/kindest person we could have asked for. The way we were able to connect with her through our engagement shoot helped us the day of the wedding, it felt so comfortable and natural! It's clear that Samantha makes it a point to make personal connections with her clients, which was so evident throughout the time we worked with her. We cannot wait to work with her again in the future (specifically for pregnancy photos when we get there) and no words can really describe the amazing experience we had with her. Especially after we first met for our connection session, we felt so comfortable knowing that Sam would be handling our photos and, moreover, helping us navigate the flow of the entire day. She advised us on our entire timeline (even laid out scenarios for different hair and makeup locations/timing) to the end of the party to make sure we captured the moments that were most important to us. Photography is easily one of the more important wedding day vendors to secure, so it was one of the first vendors we sought after. When my now husband showed me Sam’s page, I was blown away. The stories she tells in her photos, the LIGHTING, and her overall talent is just striking. From the moment we connected with Sam, we felt like we were talking with a friend - who made us feel safe, heard, and understood. Her experience shows not just in her photos, but in her advice of how to set up the day for pictures. leading up to our wedding, Sam created a website portal for us where we could fill out our picture needs/questionnaire, and be provided with best tips/tricks/and other important details. This was a really smart and lovely feature to working with Sam that no other vendor of ours had. When our big day arrived, Sam was prompt, positive, and ready to rock. We had a lot of family shots we wanted capture before the reception and she got them all and then some. In fact, many of my friends and family members made it a point to tell me how wonderful Sam was, how comfortable she made them feel, and how kind she was. That meant everything to us. And similarly, my husband and I felt at ease with Sam - she guided on us on how to pose and look our best. When I walked to my first look, Sam held my hand and gave me the best pep talk - resulting in me to break into happy tears and truly feel like I was safe and ready to do this. After our big day, we received almost 100 teaser photos, which definitely held us over to the two months later where we received over 1,400 beautiful pictures. We cannot get enough of them and are constantly being complimented on them. We would recommend Sam to any future couple in a heart beat and are so thankful that she was a part of our day. -

If you want stunning wedding photos capturing gorgeous authentic moments and to feel like your best friend took them, Samantha June is who you want to hire. My husband and I were drawn to her work because it was so unique; every photo looked like a movie still or a painting and she was able to capture so much emotion in her photos. We didn’t want anything super posed or staged and Sam delivered tenfold! She is also professional, efficient, and warm and does so much more than take beautiful photos. She graciously maneuvered through divorced family dynamics and toddler meltdowns during family photos and made everyone feel so at ease and taught me how to handle the long train of my dress like a pro. You just feel like she’s got you and you can trust her. She felt like part of the family even though we had just met her. And we absolutely LOVE our wedding photos. We can’t recommend her enough! -

Don't even hesitate to reach out and book, Sam is the INCREDIBLE. I knew from the first time I saw Sam's work that I wanted her to be our photographer and I knew from our first conversation that she was the one. Simply the best!
When we saw Sam's photos online, we knew we wanted to meet her, and then once we had our initial phone call with Sam, we knew we had to book her! Sam is so calm, cool, and collected, and makes everyone around her excited, yet at ease. Our family and friends could not stop gushing over her!
My husband and I are not big picture-takers, but we both agreed that some of our favorite moments of our wedding day were the times we snuck away with Sam for some private phots. It was incredibly special to have some more intimate moments in the midst of all the fun, dancing, and craziness. We are so thankful to Sam for helping create and capture those amazing memories for us!
Sam worked so seamlessly with all of our many many family members and friends. We just got our teasers in and it was so magical to get to relive the day. We looked for a wedding photographer for a very long time. We knew we didn’t want a bunch of posed pictures that tend to look awkward and … well, posed. We wanted someone who could document the magic and love of this day in a real and artistic way, and we hit the absolute jackpot with Sam. We never felt weird or awkward while taking pictures, there was never the moment of “what do I do with my hands” that anyone who’s had their picture taken ever knows all too well. We just had a blast and goofed around and Sam turned that into absolute gold. We’ve been going through our pictures for about a month now still trying to pare them down (every last one of them is truly stunning) and everytime I look through them I get to relive the day all over again in the most beautiful way. Sam perfectly captured the beauty, silliness, joy, and love in a way that truly jumps out of the pictures she takes. To top it off, she's just about the raddest person to ever live, and you will have the absolute best time with her. And then she will gift you the most gorgeous pictures you could have imagined. I don’t know where to begin writing this review, because Sam was everything we dreamed for our wedding photographer and so much more!!! For starters, Sam’s work is so unique and breathtakingly beautiful. When my husband and I first saw her website we immediately knew we wanted her to capture our day. Even knowing the quality of her work we were blown away by the teaser photos we received! But hiring Sam ended up being the best decision we made for our wedding for even more reasons. She helped keep us on schedule the whole day and help communicate with other vendors and, more importantly, was a true beacon of fun, kindness, and joy. She made us and our family laugh, she danced with our friends on the dancefloor, and she immediately put me and my husband at ease. Hiring Sam was one of the absolute BEST decisions we made for our 5.15.21 wedding. She came highly recommended by our venue so she was on our list from the beginning (especially once we reviewed her stunning portfolio!), but within moments of meeting her via facetime we knew she was the photographer for us!
We met Sam in person for our connection session a few months later and she immediately made us feel at ease - we were totally able to be ourselves with her due to her cool, calm, outgoing and fun personality! Throughout the weeks/months leading up to our wedding, Sam regularly checked in with us to firm up our day-of timeline and review our photo checklist with us, ensuring a seamless wedding day experience!
Leading up to our wedding day, we were already amazed by Sam's skills, but we fell even more in love with her the day of!!! We cannot express just how much Sam helped us the second she arrived at our venue the day of our wedding. She instantly made the entire wedding party and our families feel comfortable, relaxed, + excited, and helped us stick to our timeline perfectly. She knew our venue SO well that she was able to lead us to all of the most beautiful spots on the property, chasing the light and getting the most amazing shots!
Sam's gifts go far beyond her skills as a photographer -- it felt like she was our wedding planner too! She helped me in and out of my veil multiple times throughout the day, and was there helping me when I had a wardrobe malfunction minutes into the reception! Any time we'd hit a minor hiccup, the first thing folks would say was "should we ask Sam?? Where's Sam?!" She was a shoulder to lean on and a source of comfort and support for EVERYONE the entire time! It literally feels like there's nothing she can't do!
After our wedding our guests could not stop raving about Sam and her second photographer Gabriel, and their ability to navigate and get photos during all parts of the wedding (including wrangling several large families for group shots AND being all over the dance floor getting photos of all our guests having fun!)
Sam provided many teasers less than 24 hours after our wedding, which was BEYOND what we were expecting! The photos are stunning and there's so much more beyond the shots that makes her the best in the biz.

Sam and her assistant Gabe made for such a smooth and memorable day. Sam is like a wedding coordinator herself with her knowledge of weddings, photos, venue, and relationships. Best Wedding Decision
We have received our teaser photos from Sam and they are absolutely beautiful; they encompass our entire vibe and vision from our wedding day. Frankly, the pictures could be ordinary, and we would have paid double just to have Sam by our side. The calming, chill and confidence aura Sam exudes inevitably calmed, chilled and boosted our confidence on a day when we needed it most. She drove two hours each way in a mask to be there for us. We cannot rate her, praise her or recommend her any higher and look forward to our completed album and all works she produces in the future. -

Sam was the perfect photographer for our wedding. We were drawn to her style and personal approach towards photography. We wanted the photos to capture the vibe and intimate moments of the day more than having staged photos of ourselves and the guests -- though we got a bunch of those too :) . Sam made us feel very comfortable right away even though we were coming from out of town and weren't able to do an engagement session before the wedding date. Working with Sam was really easy from the beginning through to the end product. Our photos came out great; a year later we still look at them every day! From the moment I saw Sam’s photos I knew I needed to work with her. After our first call, I was even more excited. She is extremely personable, funny, and makes you feel like you’re old friends which is an amazing gift. Our wedding day was flawless and she played a HUGE part in that, lending her knowledge to our timeline and using her impeccable eye to determine where we would be photographed. It was a blast having her a part of the “getting ready” experience, and I quite honestly forgot she was even photographing us. Our family and friends could not stop talking about how cool she is and how she fit right in. I immediately trusted her to direct us anywhere (inside a hungry sheep pen even!) and I am so glad I did. Our photos are STUNNING. There are so many incredible shots it’s almost overwhelming to figure out how to properly honor each one.
Sam has an amazing eye for light and works with her surroundings as opposed to trying to make them something they’re not. Our photos are works of art and I’m trying to come up with more reasons to work with her !

Pure magic
Sam was pure magic from beginning to end. We felt an instant connection with her during our first meeting. During our wedding day, she was my (the bride) sense of calm in the room while getting ready and she even DJ'ed for us when we couldn't decide what to listen to!
We appreciated her attention to detail, her ability to get amazing photos without over posing us, and her and her assistant Gabe's professionalism throughout the whole experience. And then, to have truly amazing images of our day was the best part of it all. -

There is no one like Sam June. We know this because (it felt like) we talked to every photographer on the planet before finding her. We fell in love with her warm, genuine spirit from our very first call! She took the time to get to know us and our story while simultaneously instilling confidence that she truly knew her stuff. We were bummed to find out that she was already booked on our date but decided to move our wedding to another weekend just so we could work with her.
We were super nervous for our engagement photos, which Sam June lovingly calls “connection sessions”, but there was nothing to be worried about! She kept us moving and laughing the entire time and surprising us with her creativity. If you just let go and trust her, your photos will be both beautiful and interesting.
On our wedding day, she was an absolute rockstar — wrangling our families for obligatory family portraits with ease, getting along with everyone, keeping the timeline humming along. Not only is she professional and organized, she’s an absolute joy to be around. Saying goodbye to her at the end of our wedding really felt like we were saying goodbye to an old friend.
When we got our wedding photos back, we were completely blown away. Sam June is truly an artist. We feel incredibly lucky to have such beautiful images captured by her. If you want romantic, nature forward, beautifully edited photos that capture the magic of your wedding, she’s your girl. -

Listen, if you folks are like us, and you were kind of well, lost on who to choose to give this absolutely massive responsibility to for photographing your wedding day please, just stop right now and read.
Sam June is nothing short of spectacular. My wife is a bit camera shy, which is totally fine so the one requirement that we had in our process in choosing our wedding photographer was that she (my wife) needed to feel comfortable with them. After reviewing Sam's work we understood that she wasn't your average run of the mill wedding photographers. First off, she loves what she does, and if you spend a day with her at a wedding you'll see that. She loves putting couples that are nervous and overwhelmed, calming them down and getting them in whatever THEIR element is.
So after we contact Sam, we set a Facetime call where we got to know each other and we absolutely hit it off. Fast forward to our wedding day, same arrives early with everything she needs and then some and was an absolute professional. She took time to understand family dynamics, and anything else that could factor into a huge day like a wedding day.
Were we nervous? Damn right we were, but not only is Sam a damn good photographer but she's an awesome person as well. If you're on the fence, please just give her a call, she's worth every penny and then some.

I've been putting off writing this review because I knew I'd get emotional writing it. There are not enough good things I can say about Sam. She is SO MUCH MORE than just a photographer. From my very first Skype call, Sam made me feel completely comfortable. She just has a way about her that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay no matter what. She worked with us to create a schedule that took advantage of every minute of her time so we could get as many photos as possible. She is so chill and down to earth, she got along with everyone, and she was actually fun to have around all day. She even danced with us and our friends on the dance floor at the end of the night. We just received our preview photos this week, and I was floored by the photos Sam was able to capture. She works with the natural light and captures the beauty in every moment. She isn't about posed photos, but instead finds real emotion. I can't imagine what our wedding day would have been without her. -

Incredibly thankful

Talented, personal, quite simply the best.
We are so thankful we found Sam June! From the moment we stumbled upon her portfolio during our search for a photographer, we knew there had to be an incredibly talented person behind such dreamy, thoughtful, personal photos. It was such a breath of fresh air to work with someone who truly cares about their craft and the people they work with, and has the rare ability to connect with everyone with such grace and kindness. Sam seamlessly blended in with all of our friends and family on our wedding day and made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, turning family and wedding party photos into some of the most memorable and fun moments that we'll cherish forever.
We had complete trust in her from our first e-mails and were blown away by how communicative and helpful she was, offering advice, vendor recommendations and a timeline that made our wedding day a breeze! She was flexible and worked with us on what photography package made the most sense for us, making time in her busy schedule for a Connection Session in our neighborhood that not only made us feel more comfortable in front of the camera, but was a highlight leading up to our wedding.
Sam is so much more than a photographer and we are so thankful for all the times she stepped in and offered her expertise on our wedding day, truly becoming a day of coordinator that was calm and made everything feel like it was taken care of. That was the best gift we could have ever asked for and her suggestions for sneaking off throughout the evening to take portraits in the river, in a field surrounded by sparklers and at night under the stars were the perfect moments for us to take it all in and some of our fondest memories. I would recommend Arius Photography in a heartbeat with not only documenting your wedding day, but capturing those personal moments in the most beautiful way. -

So I don't know if its better to start alphabetically or chronologically with why Sam is the absolute greatest. Holding onto the memories of what is one of the biggest days of your life is really up to the quality of the photographer you hire. The person needs to be able to capture intimate moments of you, your friends, your family, to fully encapsulate what it meant to be at your wedding. Sam I am convinced is the absolute best person for this. We did both our engagement photos and our wedding with her and we immediately felt right at home. She has this way of very quickly understanding the energy and vibe of the couple, and then amplifying that to capture these natural, wonderful moments between us. All of the family and bridal party portraits were an absolute hilarious part of the day, all because of Sam. We actually found her work before we had any other vendor picked out and we knew from that point that no matter the scene, she would be the choice to make it all work perfectly. Huge thank you to Sam. -

Sam June is pure magic—from her calm demeanor to her ability to have fun with us and with our families, bustling my dress and pinning my husband’s boutonnière when my hands were too shaky to do it, she is so much more than an amazing photographer. This wedding day stuff is stressful, but her experience with it all put us at ease. We knew that we were in the best of hands the very first minute we met her. Sam is also just so fun and so cool—our families all remarked how awesome it was to witness her professionalism in action. Everyone loved her.
When I found Sam’s work online, I knew immediately that I wanted to insert my wedding into her dreamy, romantic world. What bride wouldn’t?! What a thrill it was to get to work with her. Samantha June is absolutely amongst the best in the business! From the first time we spoke with her on Facetime, to meeting her for our connection session and working with her for our wedding this weekend, we have continued to be amazed and wowed by her work and overall presence. Her photos are absolutely magical and truly capture some of life's most intimate and special moments! Colleen Sent on 03/14/2018I was lucky enough to find Arius Photography through my makeup artist and let me tell you, Sam June is the real deal. I knew leading up to my wedding that a photographer was something that I was willing to be a little “crazy” over...pictures last forever and tell a whole story in one image, so I knew I needed to be picky. I scrolled through countless websites and reviews but always kept coming back to Arius…something about their photos kept calling to me so I knew I needed to pull the trigger and boy am I glad I did. Sam was extremely pleasant to deal with in the weeks leading up to my wedding day and when we finally spoke on the phone I knew it was a match made in heaven. Just through hearing her voice I immediately felt so calm and relaxed and I could tell she understood mine and my fiancé’s vibe. The day of the wedding Sam and her second shooter showed up promptly and got right down to business capturing all the small but important details without disrupting anything that was going on. She was so present, without being present, which is exactly what you want in a photographer. When my fiancé and I were doing our couples shoot Sam knew exactly what to do to make us feel at ease and what to say to capture the most natural reactions from us. Our photos are beyond breathtaking. I cried while scrolling through each and every one because I felt like I was relieving my wedding day all while seeing things I never got to see the day of. The photos truly surpassed my expectations and Sam June is to thank for that. -

Stephanie Sent on 10/17/2017We found Sam and Dave online while as I was scanning through the seemingly endless collections of photographers on endless wedding websites. All of the pictures looked the same to me. When I found Arius Photography I was immediately struck by the unique quality of their photos. Anyone can stand you up next to your wedding party and take a pretty picture. Sam and Dave have a way of finding the most magnificent, natural light to make you look etherial. Their use of light and color are artistic and creative. They are masters of the candid picture, which is exactly the style we were looking for. Their pictures are one of a kind, works of art, so different from the cookie cutter pictures of many other wedding photographers. Our pictures were so stunning they were described as “magazine worthy” by more than one of our friends. What you can't see online is how much support and guidance they will give you leading up to, and on your big day. As soon as we met them for a preliminary meeting my husband and I both felt instantly at ease with their professionalism and extensive experience, but mostly, we just really liked them as people. They are super-easy going, fun and relaxed. Having that kind of energy around us on our wedding day was a life saver. We had so much fun hanging out with them during our “connection session” that I knew they would get along wonderfully with our kooky rag-tag wedding party. I had Sam in the house with me and the bridal party, she brought such a calming presence and fit in seamlessly with all the rowdy women. While I was stressing out about the impending rain threatening to ruin my outdoor wedding, Sam was keeping me updated by showing me the weather radar images on her phone, making timing decisions about the first look portraits when I lost the capacity to think rationally, and managed, with all this craziness going on to take a wonderful series of photos. Dave was with the groom’s party and fit in like an old friend.
