Absolutely loved working with Aria Studios!

We are so so happy we worked with Aria Studios for our photography and videography for our wedding at Sunset Ranch. We purchased the 8 hour photography and videography package along with the engagement shoot. Sarah G, our lead photography, was incredibly kind and easy to work with. We also worked with her for our engagement shoot and genuinely just had so much fun with her. Her calm and positive energy really helped make us feel comfortable around the camera and the photos came out beautifully. Gabe was our lead videographer and our video highlight was amazing! Truly showcased the best parts of the whole day and we were so happy to review all the footage of the wedding thereafter. We had significant rain on our wedding day and the Aria Studios team really pulled through for us and made the best despite the torrential downpour. Highly highly recommend this vendor!

Absolutely amazing!

I can't stop raving about Aria Studios! Mia and Laurie made us and our family so comfortable the entire day. They have such a great artistic eye and found the perfect backdrops and lighting to capture our vision. They are so responsive and professional from the initial consultation to the wedding day. We received our preview photos TWO days after the wedding and are in love with how Mia captured each emotion perfectly. She is a dream to work with and brought so much joy to our wedding day. Stunning Photos!

We heard about Aria Studios from Aloha Bridal Connections. And what can I say but only good things about them! Jess, Gabe and Aria Crew did an amazing job and stunning photo previews! Looking forward for more photos and videos to re-live the most amazing day of our lives!! We initially only wanted to hire photographers on our wedding day, but we don’t regret about hiring videography on our special day! Light, Bright, Perfect Photos

ARIA Studios did our photography only, and they were just the best! From the moment we inquired through to the day itself, communication with them was fast and easy, which is a huge relief when you're trying to plan a wedding from afar! Even though we didn't get a chance to meet Jess and Amber before the big day, they were super friendly and instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photos they delivered are absolutely gorgeous!! We love looking through them and reliving the best day ever, and can't wait to have some of the prints framed. They beautifully captured moments that we will treasure forever, and we highly recommend them to anyone!

I cannot stop raving about ARIA Studios. They are THE BEST. Booking their cinema team was easily one of the best wedding-related decisions my husband and I made. They were a dream to work with from beginning to end. Their studio manager, Jessica, was so responsive, accommodating, and friendly--she made the booking process a breeze. On our wedding day I was basically a scatterbrained mess since we opted not to book a coordinator but Kolby and Kash showed up on time, got their cameras rolling right away, and figured out a lot of things on their own. They worked seamlessly with our photographers throughout the day and put together an AMAZING same-day edit which they played for us and our guests toward the end of our reception. We had really high expectations for our SDE and it still completely blew us away--Kolby and Kash were able to include footage from our reception that took place just moments before. We couldn't believe what they were able to capture while remaining virtually invisible--we seriously barely noticed that they were there. We received the rest of our footage about six weeks after our wedding (an incredible turnaround time by industry standards).

The ARIA team is so special. They truly love what they do and it shows in their work and the relationships they forge with their clients. We are so happy and proud to be a part of the ARIA family and are hoping to work with their photography team sometime in the near future. Thank you so much for everything, ARIA Studios! We love you!

Before we even got engaged I wanted to book Aria Studios. (I didn’t even care I just knew I had to have them for video and photo on our wedding day!) Kolby, Kash, Jonas, Holly and Jess are your DREAM TEAM! I have enjoyed their work for some time now and I loved how their team was like a family. They are all so close and work so amazingly well together. I could not just have one member of their team… I wanted the whole team. We finally got engaged and best believe Aria was on speed dial. We were so excited to finally book them and make them apart of our Wedding Day. They made everything SO SO EASY. We used them for engagement pictures, Wedding Photos, videography (Love Story, SDE,) oh... and they even do Photo Booths... Yes we booked that as well- WE WANTED THEM ALL!
When a team like this invites you to be a part of their family you know they are something special. They truly care about the happiness in each of their couples and always gives 110%. You can see it in every video and every photo. The images are always so breathtaking and you feel like you were at every wedding they were at and all you can do is smile. They made my husband and I so excited and comfortable about our wedding and we wish we could do it all over again… (Like every weekend!!) That is how much we LOVE ARIA STUDIOS. Kolby and her team are AMAZING!!! Aria Studios was highly recommended to me by a handful of people, but naturally, I wanted to explore all options before deciding on our videographer, because really, 20 years from now, all you have to look back on your wedding are videos and photos. When we first met Kolby, we automatically fell in love with her! She was extremely easy to talk to and really open to hearing all of our thoughts and suggestions. From our initial meeting, we knew we had to have them for both our SDE and Love Story feature. Although Kolby wasn't able to do our SDE (because of another booking), she reassured us (with videos lol) that her brother Cash, is also incredibly talented. AND HE IS!!! They did an amazinggggg job with both our SDE and Love Story. Let's just put it this way, I hate being on camera AND seeing myself on camera, but I have been watching both videos since our wedding on repeat!

I am a very particular person and I like to have control of everything to make sure everything's perfect, but on my wedding day, I did not have to think once about how much more perfect everything could've turned out, because it really was. All thanks to my vendors. Working with Aria Studios was a dream and I could not have dreamt up a more perfect day.

THE BEST TEAM!! We had an amazing time with Kolby and her team, from the initial consultation to wedding day they were super responsive to any of our changes or questions. On the day of they made us all feel so comfortable, especially during those awkward poses! Haha. Our SDE (Same Day Edit) was off the hook! They captured the most precious parts of our wedding day and we’re so thankful that we get to relive our wedding day over and over again!!

From the very first email, Aria studios was quick, accommodating, organized, and very easy to work with. Many people recommended Aria to us and I'm so glad we listened. They took all our preferences into account and had us fill out organized forms leading up to our wedding day. The day of the wedding the photographers and videographers were very easy to work with and flexible. They directed us and didn't make us feel awkward! I didn't even notice the videographers! When they played the same day edit we were amazed. It was beautiful and one of the highlights of our day. Our photos came in quickly and we are in love with the whole album. A lot of our guests commented on how gorgeous our photos and video came out! We highly recommend Aria studios!

We hired Aria Studios as our videographers for our wedding. When we were doing our research, we immediately knew that their style was what we wanted for our wedding video. They were super helpful and quick to respond when we sent our enquiries. On the day of the wedding itself, Aria Studios was so on time (if anything, they came early!) and they were so friendly and were not at all intrusive. If anything, you hardly notice that they’re there (in a good way). When they gave us directions, they were super clear and easy to follow and not at all staged or awkward. Aria Studios created a Same Day Edit for us and it was out of this world. We were in awe with the way Kash had put together that video in such a short amount of time. It was so creative and clever and had such a natural flow to it. It was just unbelievably good and we and our guests were brought to tears again when we watched it at the reception. OMFG totally worth it. We also engaged Aria Studios for a video messaging booth – the attendant who manned the booth (sorry we didn’t get his name!) was so easy to work with and so natural. We’re waiting to see this final product, and also a Short Film – we can’t wait to see it! We would HIGHLY recommend Aria Studios – like without a doubt! Professional, friendly and fantastic work quality. Thank you so much, Aria Studios – you have given us such beautiful lasting memories!

Still waiting on our pictures but Jessica and her team member were very nice and professional during our wedding day. They were also nice enough to carry my shoes and my bouquet when it wasn't needed for the shoot. I also love how they edit their photos! Highly recommended!

The entire team at Aria was amazing! They are the so professional and talented. If you want the absolute best, they're the one!

We met with Jessica before we decided on the what company to choose- she was great and answering all our questions and made us feel very comfortable. She was the one we communicated with from beginning to end. She always responded to us quickly.

Jessica, Kolby and Jonas were the videographers the day of the wedding. Not only are they talented, but they are also humble, professional and fun!

The SDE was more than I could have ever imagined! We also received our package from them months earlier than the contract entailed.

I really wanted to do this. My husband wasn't really into it. I told him this was the one thing I was making the executive decision on and doing it. After our reception when they showed the video, he looked over at me with tears in his eyes and said it was the most amazing thing he has ever seen and so glad I didn't listen to him.

Everyone at our wedding was blown away. Kolby and her team were so gracious, professional and really worked with me on a budget to make this work. This was one of my favorite things about our wedding, so many friends who couldn't make it to Hawaii were able to witness this and feel like they were there. I received so many calls, texts, facebook messages how it made them cry it was so beautiful.

If you’re looking for the best photographers/videographers in Honolulu, you’ve found them. Summary: Hire Aria for both photo & video. The day goes by so fast, in a blur, that you won’t remember half of it in a week’s time. Photos document static moments, capturing the details and people. Videos capture the dynamic mood and emotions. Both are absolutely essential. It is crucial to hire an EXCELLENT team. I’ve been to enough weddings to know exactly what I don’t want. I also did enough (excessive) research to know what I want. We had a long engagement (3yrs+) and 3 cities to choose from: Vancouver, LA/OC, Honolulu, plenty of time to scour for photo/videographers in all 3 cities. When I first found Aria, I spoke with Jess and emphasized that I wanted candid moments, nothing orchestrated. She was so friendly and positive, every email felt like an explosion of pink bubbles and sparkles, on top of that she was replying my emails at 11pm, dedication! Planning a destination wedding takes a bit of courage, but Jess made sure I was comfortable. The day of, Team Aria was agile, efficient, and invisible, like ninjas. The photographers (Jess & Holly) and videographers (Kash & Jonas) worked seamlessly together. Magical ninjas taking stealth candid shots, check! The finished products exceeded our expectations. Everything was absolutely perfect. Photos captured each moment in its essence, from mischievous ring bearers, to Vanity Fair cover-like family portraits. The video was simply epic. After watching it for the first time, my dad needed a few moments to recollect himself. Then he secretly hid and watched it a few times on repeat. There are moments in life when something stirs your emotions, whether it be a well written article, or a good movie. Your wedding video is going to be that something. It’s worth the investment, even if you have to splurge. Skip the linen/flatware rentals, get a smaller cake, shave off your guest list, do whatever you have to do, trust me on this!

I knew I was going to hire Aria when I started planning for my wedding. I follow their work on Instagram and am constantly blown away with their work. I hired them for photography and videography with a same day edit (SDE) and drone footage. The photographers were easy to work with. They kept us at ease and were very friendly. The videographers were very stealthy and I hardly noticed them throughout the night. This was perfect because I didn't want videographers/photographers in the way of the guests view of the wedding. The highlight of the night was to see how they were able to create a highlight clip, SDE, of the night at the reception. I was amazed at how well done it was and how they were even able to include my hula dance which happened almost right before they presented the SDE.
It was a nice treat to see how the day went on the same night. My guests were blown away with their work. It was fast and very well done. I am super happy that I made the choice to work with such a reputable and professional company such as Aria.

Our video could not be more perfect! A beautifully captured momento of our special day. We eloped from Australia with our 2 kids & it was important to us to have our day documented to show our friends & family. Right from my first enquire Aria Studios were fantastic. Working with Aria Studios was great from the beginning! Our contact with them (Jessica) was very responsive and answered all our questions. On the day of our wedding, our two videographers worked seamlessly with our photographer and I sometimes didn't even notice them as they blended in fluidly. One of the highlights of our wedding.
Aria is absolutely wonderful, punctual, talented, and professional. This company is extraordinary and worth every single penny. We hired them for our wedding (sorry for the late review ) we had initially seen some of their videos from the wedding café workshops. After meeting them at the bridal show I wanted to interview them. From the first interview with Kolby and Jess my husband and I knew they were the ones. Kolby is truly talented in videography and the core of Aria studios, her fellow aria studio team members Jonas and Jessica were absolutely stupendous as well. Due to the weather our wedding timeline got thrown off course (even with a wedding coordinator) and they were able to handle everything so professionally. They were so polite, kind, accommodating, and professional. Hands down they are responsible for making our weddings one of the most memorial days of our lives. Our highlight video always puts a smile on our face every time we watch it, you can't even tell how hectic it was that day. Honestly, I'm currently obsessed with all of them and follow each of the members on their personal instagram. ;) haha. Jonas, thank you so much for dealing with the heat and hectic-ness of our wedding day, Jess, you were fantastic from the day we met you and it was such a pleasure seeing your familiar face on our wedding day, and Kolby THANK YOU so much for running such a amazing company, you hard work shows within the beautiful videos were all going to watch for the rest of our lives.

WE LOVE ARIA!!! We are still waiting for our highlight video, etc, but we are so thrilled to have gotten he opportunity to work with Aria Studios on our big day! Like many couples, we were hesitant about spending so much money on videography, but we finally decided to just go for it. We met with a few vendors and after talking with Kolby and seeing her past work, we knew we had to go with her! Kolby was so sweet and professional and we felt so comfortable getting to know her. On the big day, everything went so smoothly. Kolby, Kash and Jonas were wonderful to work with. And then there's the same-day-edit video...it was AMAZING!!! Couldn't have asked for a better video. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Aria studios!!!

The Aria Studios team are amazing! They are so much fun to work with and make the day easy and stress free during the process. I am a photographer and have worked with Aria in the past, and have loved their work for years. I was a little on the fence when it came to having a videographer at the wedding, but it is one of the best decisions that we made.

We did a love story video and also a same day edit and they were such a hit, when they were played at the reception. For weeks after the wedding, our guests raved about how incredible the videos both were. Aria is amazing and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a videographer!

Kolby and the crew at Aria Studios did a great job with our wedding videography. Our same day edit was AMAZING and one of the highlights of our reception. People are still talking about it to this day and I couldn't have hoped for more! The videographers are very unobtrusive and most of the time I didn't realize they were there which was a bonus. I can't wait for my DVD but I'm sure it will be great!!!

Kolby Akamu is a master of creating artistic videography�she weaves emotion into her images like no other videographer in Hawaii. Looking for your wedding photographer/ cinematographer? Congrats, you found them!! ARIA studios. Seriously, they are INCREDIBLE! The whole team is super fun and easy to work with, incredibly professional, and their work is perfection.
We knew from the beginning we wanted a cinematographer for our wedding. As soon as we saw ARIA’s portfolio, we were in love. This was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made! The day goes by so quickly and it almost feels like you’re in a dream; the video captures the vibe and the emotions and the fun and all the stuff that was a blur. Kash and Jonas were video ninjas. They got all of these amazing shots and you didn’t even realize they were there. The highlight video they put together is so perfect and I’m so in love. The song they chose was released only a month after our wedding and I can’t stop listening to it! Amazing job guys!!!!
When we first started talking with ARIA studios, I was dead-set on having only video, because I’m cheap and I planned to grab still shots from the video. I’m so glad my mom convinced me otherwise. While the video perfectly captures the dynamic emotions of the night, the photos let you obsess over magical split-second moments of happiness. Jessica and Holly are such a great team and their eye for composition is unparalleled. These are pictures we’re going to treasure forever and they were well worth every penny.
I can’t thank the ARIA studios team enough! Our wedding photos and video are even more perfect and wonderful and beautiful than I could have imagined! You guys are the best! <3

The best! Great professional staff and wonderful photos. The same day edit video was insanely wonderful and I still don't understand how it was pulled together so quickly. I would absolutely book them again.

Capturing priceless memories

ARIA studios was flexible with minor changes in the wedding (like change in groomsmen photos and formal photos with family). They went along with the change and accommodated it as it happened. My husband and I are awkward with posing in front of a camera and the ARIA studios team really made an effort to make if comfortable for us. We had two photographers and two videographers. I was impressed by the way they positioned themselves throughout the wedding; they were barely in the large amount photos we received back. The team paid attention to important photo detail/inspiration shots that I wanted for the wedding (e.g. our mickey ears in the sand). All the photos we received back were high quality and captured the love, surprises, and pure beauty of our wedding. ARIA studios is totally worth it!

I was in love with their style way before I was engaged to my husband and booked them the minute I had the chance since they were so popular. Kolby and her team were very professional and very approachable and kind. They captured every bit of what I had hoped for and more since I wasn't able to spend time looking at my decorations during the day of and see how everything looked overall. I was able to watch my videos and see it there. They did a beautiful job of capturing the love and happiness that my husband and I shared during our special day. We had a SDE and I loved our SDE video so much that I watched it everyday, countless of times, for a good two months. Aria Studios is an excellent vendor. They were reliable, and responded to my emails quick and appropriately. They treat you with kindness and they don't make you feel pressured when they take videos of you.

We went with Aria Studio because we really liked their style based on the videos that were posted on their site. Their price was higher compared to other venders we were considering. Everything went well and on the day of the wedding we met Kolby. We were delighted to meet her and really liked her. We hardly noticed they were filming. However, the reason for the low rating was the time frame in which Aria took to complete our video. The promised time frame was 6 months. When the 6 month period came we were not contacted in any way to let us know it would be delayed. We contacted Aria several time and they seem to be unresponsive (compared to the response time pre-booking). Once we did get a response they made us aware that something had come up (personal matters). Calling their office with no one answering, our emails went unanswered, it really got us worried. Finally we received our DVD on February 8th. That’s over 2 months delay. Now, to the quality of the short film, we loved it. Then we find out that we only got the DVD version. DVD??? For the price we paid??? I then saw in the package that the DVD came in that if I wanted the HD version that would cost additional $200.00. I was extremely puzzled as to why there would be an additional charge of $200 just to get the HD videos. The video was filmed in HD!!! Why would they downgrade the quality of the video as a finished product to send to the customer??? To make a profit of $200.00??? Yes, I understand that a company needs to make a profit but this seems more like taking advantage of a customer. Also, we never got compensated for the video being late. We ended up paying for the HD files since we had no choice at that point. Our final thought on Aria is that they provide a good quality video at a very high cost. I would not recommend them based on cost and how their customers are sucked out for every penny possibly.

We had an awful experience with Kolby from Aria Studios. We LOVED Kolby initially because she was so bubbly and nice. We also thought her work was unique and fun. So we booked her. The first incident where things went bad was a scheduled meeting to go over the details. We waited for an hour, called her phone and left messages. It turns out that she was feeling ill and fell asleep, completely neglecting to contact us. When we did meet up, she informed us of her new rule that we can't have the song we wanted for our video because she used the song for another couple's video already. We can't have the song that we want for a video that we are paying for and will have for the rest of our lives?! It was a new stipulation that was created after we booked Aria Studios and something we had no idea about. Lastly, we waited the expected 3 months for our video, which is fine, but 3 months turned into weeks and weeks more, which half the time she was very unresponsive and had one excuse after another. UNPROFESSIONAL/UNRESPONSIVE/POOR QUALITY OF SERVICE. We finally received the dvd a month and a half after it was promised. Very anxious to see all the best man speeches, bridesmaids speeches, banzais, first dance, thank yous, only to find out that the reception was not filmed. We were heartbroken to say the least. My wife was in tears. It was blamed on miscommunication, which we thought all the details were made very clear to her. On her part, she didn't confirm the timing, nor make sure that we didn't want the reception recorded, when in fact we wanted everything. All of those moments that should have been caught on tape, lost forever. Aria & Kolby took those away from us. I am writing this so that other couples will not have the same experience as we did. Yes, Kolby has done weddings and they haven't been a horror story like ours but do you really want to take that chance on that one special day? I would pay anything to have that priceless footage of our reception. Kolby and her team took that away from us.
