Nicole made the wedding!

Amazing wedding DJ!

We loved having Joe as our wedding DJ! He was super easy to work with and has a planning portal that is smooth, efficient, and made selecting our songs so easy. Joe handled all of our audio needs perfectly and curated our wedding playlists beautifully. He's got an amazing sense of music and how it can be used to create vibes for any sort of event -- taking our ecclectic musical tastes and using them to create romantic dinner music, upbeat background music for a night of boardgaming, and finishing it off with an impromptu swap to dance music as we finished the night off by getting our boogey on.

He was super flexible with last-minute changes to our ceremony cues and cake cutting songs, and worked amazingly with the rest of our team to make our night run so well. We appreciated having his happy, friendly energy there during wedding planning process and on the day of!!

Indian-American Wedding

Aria Melody was an excellent choice for our wedding DJ. We knew that Joe would be the DJ for us once we listened to his Bollywood mix. Joe's communication was efficient, thorough, and responsive from the start. He spent the time getting to know us as a couple and our music tastes. During the wedding, Joe continued to check in with us to ensure we were satisfied with the music. In terms of the playlist, his mixing was seamless, and he was highly adaptable, transitioning effortlessly between genres and keeping our guests on the dance floor all night long. Joe kicked things off with an incredible Bollywood and Punjabi mix that had everyone dancing, and the energy remained high until the very end. Two weeks out, our friends have continued to rave about our the music at our wedding and Joe in particular. We highly recommend Aria Melody/Joe for your wedding and DJ needs given the excellent service and quality of work and we're so grateful that Joe was part of our wedding.

Aria Melody DJ (Joe!) was an incredible choice for our special day. He was very prepared throughout the entire process, and accommodated all special requests. Great DJ!!

Incredible music and very easy to work with!

It was a pleasure to work with Joseph as the DJ for our wedding.

In the weeks leading up to our event, Joseph was very easy to communicate with. We ‘met’ by phone a few times to coordinate details in the weeks leading up to the event, and were impressed with how thorough and flexible he was at each stage. We also very much appreciated how easy he was to work with when we had to reschedule our wedding in spring 2020.

On the date of the event, Joseph was a huge hit with our friends and family! He helped set a lively setting for the ceremony and cocktail hour. When it came to the reception, he absolutely crushed it, taking our preferences into account and running with them to put together an incredible dance set. I’m no expert on the technical details of DJing, but he blended and remixed crowd faves on the fly in a way that kept the dance floor going right till the last song. You know it’s a good thing when quite a few of your guests ask for your DJ’s info. during / after the event!

We were excited upfront about Joseph because, unlike many other DJs we worked with, he didn’t insist on a ‘hype man’ or try to up-sell with crazy club lighting or pyrotechnics packages. He just put a lot of thought and care into the music and let that alone set the tone for the night, and the result was incredible.

Great experience with Joseph!

Had a great experience working with Aria Melody and Joseph! We are not big music people but knew we just wanted music that would be fun for our wedding, and Joseph understood exactly what we wanted and set the perfect tone throughout the night. He was extremely nice and professional and brought the energy without being over the top or tacky. We also had a few last minute additions and changes and Joseph was very accommodating and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!

DJ Joseph was amazing!

We could not be happier with Aria Melody & DJ Joseph Schimicci. From our first moment speaking with DJ Joe we knew he understood the vibe we were going for. I'm very particular with songs I like and songs I don't like and he totally got it - even beyond the list I had given him. There truly was not a single bad song played. One of the most frequent comments we've received from friends and family since the wedding was that the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night, and that is fully because of DJ Joe's sense of the crowd and knowing exactly what songs to play and how to mix them. The world's biggest thanks to DJ Joe and the entire Aria team for making this process so seamless and easy. If I had one goal for the wedding it's that people would describe it as "fun" and because of DJ Joe, that mission was definitely accomplished. Wish that I could re-listen to our wedding playlist over and over again. Highly recommend!!

Best Music arrangement and DJ!

Loved working with Aria Melody. During our first meeting, we shared with Owen that we were looking for s DJ that could play both Latin and American music, so they connected us with Nicole who was just incredible. She had this amazing spreadsheet were we could add songs during all of the parts of our wedding and everyone was dancing all night long! additionally we got Owen to play live music for the ceremony. Amazing music for an amazing night!

We chose Aria Melody because we knew they would be a great fit since one of our priorities was to break the mold a bit with our wedding, including our vendor choices. From beginning to end, working with them felt very personal vs what I would imagine working with a more typical, larger entertainment company (which we weren't interested in but still wanted professionalism and above all talent). Our DJ, Luke, was super talented and definitely nailed it in terms of the overall party vibe we requested and type of music we loved and knew our guests would also love. He even did an amazing job flawlessly mixing in Arabic music which may have been a bit outside of his comfort zone. My wife and I are not even typically the biggest dancers but we ended up dancing almost the entire night!

Joe from Aria Melody was the DJ for our wedding reception, and he was outstanding. He had a call with us ahead of time to discuss what we envisioned, and he was very responsive to all of our thoughts. When we needed extra microphones at the last minute for our ceremony, Joe added ceremony services right away, saving us potential headaches. On the day of the wedding, Joe was perfect. He dressed appropriately, made exactly the announcements we requested, and (most importantly) put together a song list that had everyone dancing from start to finish. The dance floor was packed the whole night thanks to Joe's ability to read the room and keep the energy at the perfect level. Guests kept telling us it was the most fun they'd ever had at a wedding! We cannot recommend him enough and are so thankful he was our wedding DJ.

Working with Owen and Luke at Aria Melody made our wedding both easy and so FUN! From our first encounter, Owen was super responsive and let us know that his DJs were there for our kind of party - a fun night with good music and without cheesy intros and choreographed weirdness. He immediately connected us with Luke, who would be available on the actual date of our wedding. We got to chat a bit on the phone and meet in person before signing on and it was all a breeze. Luke got a feel for what we liked and didn't like and gave us much needed advice on the flow of the evening, song selections, timings, etc. On the day of, he showed up ready to roll and got us through our ceremony, cocktails, dinner and - FINALLY - the party! All of our guests had the best time and gave us tons of compliments on awesome music. We would 100% recommend Luke and Aria Melody for any event!

Working with Aria Melody DJ was awesome! I think cost-wise they were on par with other DJs we looked into but without the CHEESE! I definitely would recommend DJ Coolhand, we gave him a TON of music and he was able to mix a lot of different songs together. He was very accommodating in terms of meeting up with us for a very quick rehearsal 2 days before the wedding and was super responsive whenever we had questions (which was a lot of the time haha).

Aria Melody was the best! Our DJ Luke somehow magically managed to both stick to our list, and yet also improve on it at the same time. We barely got to eat our cake at all because we kept saying we would take a break from dancing after this next song, but then we were into every song and the dance floor stayed full.

Luke was also extremely professional. Each event was announced at the right time, people introduced in the right way, their names pronounced right, sound system working and played at the right volume. As promised, no gimmicks or drama.

Finally Luke thought of some things that we didn't even think of. We had picked out a lovely song for our first dance, but hadn't completely thought through how we'd feel to have everyone watching only us for that whole time. So we began our dance, but started to feel awkward and stressed, and right then Luke called out for our families to join us on the dance floor. Thank you Luke! We would have asked for that ahead of time if we had thought of it. Five stars would hire again if that was a thing.

What a blast our wedding was! Luke @ Aria Melody was so responsive to what we were looking for and was so helpful throughout the planning process. Working with Aria Melody was wonderful - from beginning to end. Owen coordinated the services for our wedding and was helpful and available all the way through the process. Services were well priced and clearly explained, no hidden or surprise charges.

June was our DJ and she understood the exact vibe that we were going for, including some special requests and some songs that were fun and humorous to us! She expertly worked in songs that pleased ALL of our guests. It's not often that I've seen guests of all ages and musical interests sharing the dance floor! It was fun, and never corny, exactly what we were looking for.

Our search for a DJ took a really long time because we didn't want someone with a fog machine and cheesy dance songs. We wanted a DJ who could appropriately accommodate our Sunday afternoon wedding and play to a crowd of mixed age groups, and Joseph from Aria Melody did not disappoint! We don't live in the area so weren't able to meet Joseph before the wedding, but he was really prompt in answering our questions via email and called a few times to go over details. He had people from all generations out on the dance floor and having a good time. He was also really accommodating when our reception ran a little bit longer than expected. Thank you so much Joseph and Aria Melody DJ for a fantastic wedding!

Our experience with DJ Luke and Aria Melody was great start to finish. Luke was easy to work with, accessible, responsive -- and most importantly, he gave us exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. Booking a DJ through Aria Melody was seamless! Owen was very responsive, answered all our questions and suggested that we meet with a DJ before making a deposit. We ended up booking Nicole as our wedding DJ right away since she understood our taste in music and offered affordable rates. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Aria Melody DJ! Owen was our DJ for our wedding on August 25, 2017. We spoke to him the night before the wedding with several new songs request etc. He executed so well. If your looking for a a DJ who is professional, organized and someone who knows his music, then Owen is your guy! Some of our guest almost missed dinner because they were way too busy on the dance floor. Funny little story, one of my guest ripped his pants and Owen got right on the job and duck taped him up! My husband and I are very happy that we chose Aria Melody for our wedding in July. We originally reached out to Owen, who was very responsive, informative and professional. Owen put us in touch with June who would be our DJ for the event. We worked closely with June to customize the soundtrack for our wedding, from start to finish. June was super friendly and flexible with us and provided recommendations when we were drawing a blank. She made the process fun! On the day of the wedding, Owen and June worked together to set up the music and microphones for our outdoor ceremony, then June scurried back inside to get the tunes started for the cocktail hour and reception. Everything went so smoothly! We had a daytime wedding and were nervous people might not be up for dancing, but June had people on their feet the entire time! She even selected a last song for us that was a huge hit; everyone was on the dance floor! Joseph from Aria Melody DJ did a fantastic job for our wedding. He was professional, responsive, and most of all did a great job editing/mixing our requested music together into a perfect evening. Our dinner ran late, which cut his play-time nearly in half. Luke, our DJ, was easily to communicate with by email and through phone calls. He was there early to set up and everything ran smoothly. I loved how our guests could suggest songs and he would play them. A great value for a great DJ! Thank you!

I really appreciate how responsive and how flexible Aria Melody was, we had DJ June and she really got everyone into the mood! She helped us make announcements and Owen was able to help us edit our first dance song so it would flow the way we wanted! Thank you so much again!

My husband and I lived in fear of a cheesy wedding DJ...we wrestled with having a DJ at all, but we decided to go with Aria Melody DJ after reading their deal - no lights, no fog, no gimmicks. Perfect. Rob was our DJ, and he completely nailed it. He had perfect timing, playing exactly the right song at the right time. He helped us build a playlist that had all 165 of our guests dancing right from the very beginning and through the entire wedding. He was able to read the crowd expertly. We ended up choosing Rob because he didn't seem like a typical wedding DJ. He told us about the individual themed playlists he made for couples based on their taste, and he absolutely delivered...right up through the very last song. I would highly recommend Rob and Aria Melody DJ.

My husband and I could not be happier that we chose Aria Melody to DJ our wedding celebration at the Nomad Hotel Rooftop in NYC. Owen was our original contact and was very responsive, informative and professional. He also ended up being our DJ on the night and we couldn't have been luckier to have him. My husband and I didn't have many "must play" songs, we just wanted a general party high energy vibe and Owen absolutely nailed it! We shared a spotify playlist with some genres/songs we liked and the playlist he came up with for the night was perfect. He was professional, on time and looked polished on the day. We had minimal formalities, but he assisted on the mic to help them move along with such class. And most importantly, all of our guests were on the dance floor all night and HAVE NOT STOPPED raving about the music. We thank you Owen for making our special day that much better.

Nicole was our DJ and she was just great. We gave her a couple "must play" songs but let the rest be up to her after a discussion of what kind of music we liked. It was so much fun! She played great music throughout the entire day. She called us the week prior to the wedding to make sure she knew the pronunciations of the people doing the toasts at the wedding. Everything was set up by her and Owen and I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding. Would definitely recommend!

Luke was AWESOME! I was super picky about the music and had a lot of specific instructions. He was accommodating and understanding. Everything went off without a hitch! He was clear about it being OUR day so he was happy to take any direction we gave him.

We booked Owen for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. From the first time we met him through the last song that he played, he was incredible. He was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. He welcomed all of our song requests (even the more obscure ones), wove them together seamlessly, and did not play a single bad song the entire night. I lost count of how many friends of ours commented about his song selection. He stayed true to Aria's mantra; no cringe-worthy chicken dance/electric slide/etc, no cheesy chanting into the microphone; just great music!

DJ June was fantastic! She was super helpful during the planning process and I was confident she knew what we wanted. My guests, family, and I were blown away by how amazing June was at the wedding! I've never been to a wedding that was so fun and with so many people dancing! I could not recommend June enough!

From the minute we first reached out to Aria Melody, they were responsive, thoughtful and excited to be a part of our special day. We found them by a simple Google search: "non-cheesy DJ." We got exactly that, and SO much more. We met our DJ (Joseph S) only a week or two after our first email exchange. He was flexible with our schedules and it was refreshing to meet a vendor in person. We have pretty specific tastes in music, and Joseph did a great job of sticking to our curated Spotify playlist as well as our do not play list. He also took some liberty with the list to make sure everyone was having a great time. Our guests were dancing all night! We have heard nothing but rave reviews from everyone at the wedding, and I've even recommended Aria Melody to 2 future brides since our wedding day.

We worked with Joe S and he was so much fun. We decided last minute to have our friend perform our first dance song and he was so accommodating and helpful to make sure the audio sounded great not only for our guests, but for our videographer too! The entire experience was wonderful. We chose our DJ Joe because we had seen him several years ago at a friend's wedding. Of the 10 weddings we went to that year, he was BY FAR the most memorable DJ. My guests and I love to dance to a variety of different types of music(Motown/pop/hip-hop). He does an excellent job understanding the type of atmosphere you want to create for your event, feeling out the crowd, and mixing music to optimize the situation. He was one of the highlights of the evening, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Working with Rob to make our wedding reception playlist was such a blast. As a DJ myself who loves a wide variety of music, I was looking for a DJ who understood my music taste and who was willing to honor many of my requests. Rob was perfect. Everyone loved the music. The dance floor was packed all night. Reflecting on that night and looking back at our pictures, no one would doubt that anyone had more fun than the bride. Aria Melody was amazing and really helped make our event extra special. They provided everything you could ask from a DJ and more! They were extraordinarily accommodating, from our picky taste in music, too setting up in multiple locations, their punctuality and attentiveness and just overall professionalism. So many of our guests commented on how great the music was and how everything was timed well. We even made special requests for our ceremony where music needed to be altered and edited and they executed it perfectly. They are very affordable and really went the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly and to our liking. Most importantly, they are genuinely good people and it made working with them that much more enjoyable. We highly recommend Aria Melody for any party or event, you will not be disappointed!

Our experience with Aria Melody DJ was very positive. They were very accommodating and responsive to all of our questions and concerns. Our DJ, Joseph, was also very responsive, professional and made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. He would check in about song choices and payment deadlines, which was very helpful in all the wedding planning craziness. They were very helpful and accommodating, making sure we had exactly what we wanted, didn't push anything, but gave us suggestions when we asked. Our family and friends had an amazing time with the perfect mix of music we requested. My husband is Israeli and I'm American, we wanted a good mix of Israeli and American music, I was a little worried how it would turn out with that mix, but Joseph made sure the music and dancing was seamless and a non stop party and everyone enjoyed themselves. He also made sure our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception flowed seamlessly as well. It was definitely one of the best non cheesy wedding djs ever, it was exactly what we hoped for.

My husband and I are thrilled that we chose Aria Melody as the DJ for our wedding!! We worked with Joe who was professional, responsive to our requests, and went with the flow of the evening. After endless searches when planning our wedding, we came across Aria Melody and instantly loved that they advertise themselves as not being your typical cheesy/fog machine/strobe light DJ. They lived up to their word! We were in contact with Joe for months leading up to the wedding and he accommodated all of our must play/do not play requests. So many people have asked us since where we found them. The variety of music kept our guests of all age ranges happy. I wish I already had the pictures of our friends going wild during some of the killer sets he played! We hardly wanted to leave the dance floor, can't ask for anything more than that on your wedding day! Thank you for being such a huge party of our party!

I knew Aria Melody was "the one" after seeing their straightforward, "no gimmicks" website, and they totally delivered. Joe S. was a dynamite DJ--I'm kind of bummed that I was busy being a bride during some of the music bits, because I would have LOVED to have been part of the surprise funk session that broke out in the middle of the night.

Joe was great at moving in and out of songs that weren't getting people on the floor, something that only happened maybe twice. He was very easy to work with (so mellow that I was even a little nervous about his potential energy levels--I shouldn't have wasted my time. He was totally on his A-game), and even sourced a few songs that I was worried would be difficult to get.

Four months later, and people are still talking about how fun our wedding was. Joe was a huge part of that, and I'm so grateful.

We hired Aria Melody DJ for our Halloween Eve wedding and we had the pleasure of having Joseph Schimicci as our DJ!! How lucky are we?! From our first meeting he was so kind and friendly. The music was the most important part of the wedding to me as we did not have any traditional music at our wedding. We had a lot of Tim Burton/Danny Elfman music going on and Joe put everything together beautifully and pulled it off flawlessly. It set the perfect mood for each phase of the evening and guests commented on how cool and unique that was. I was having a hard time picking the music and Joe was very patient with me and provided a lot of wonderful suggestions. I will be recommending him to anyone I know in need of a DJ.

Joe Schimicci was a lifesaver and filled in for our wedding when our dj was unable to make it due to a family emergency. We couldn't have been happier with his services! He was an absolute sweetheart, making sure we felt comfortable and at ease. Everyone at the venue had a great time and we got a ton of compliments from guests who said they were so happy with the music selections for the night! We're a little non-traditional and weren't sure what to play to keep our families dancing for the night - Joe helped us and kept everyone up and enjoying the night!

If you want a carefree and fun evening, Joe is absolutely your guy! Aria Melody is such a professional group and they really care about making sure you're confident and happy with your night! You don't have to worry about the cheesy wedding dj stuff that comes with other vendors. We definitely recommend them to anyone in the NY/NJ area! <3

Rob was an excellent DJ who demonstrated a masterful, yet subtle, ability to control the upbeat mood and atmosphere of our wedding. He made himself available months in advance of our wedding to walk us through the process and assuage our fears about what type of music would be played. He went the extra distance by checking out the venue in advance of the reception and coordinating with other vendors to maximize dance floor space. During the reception, Rob kept generations of all ages dancing, which, in and of itself, is incredible. I would recommend Rob to anyone.

Aria Melody, specifically Joe Dunn, was hands down the best decision I made for my wedding besides deciding to marry Sara. We had an amazing night and it all started with Joe taking the time to chat with us about our music interests and ideas. He used that feedback to craft a genuinely unique and personalized night that we will never forget. Several guests approached me over the course of the evening to tell me how great the music was, especially the covers and mash-ups that Joe weaved in to keep the party on point all night. These guys really know how to gauge a crowd and keep everyone on their feet. We couldn’t be any happier with the job that Aria Melody and Joe Dunn did at our wedding and I would recommend their services to anyone without hesitation.

We used their services for our Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception. Joe did an awesome job of making each part of the night come to life using music that captured each of our personalities and tastes.

When my wife and I first stumbled upon Aria Melody DJ’s website, we had a really good feeling about them. And when we sat down with Joseph Schimicci in person, we knew he and Aria would be the perfect fit. We discussed our music interests and our vision, and he really seemed to understand us and what we wanted. The music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (he did all three, which were held in different rooms of the same building) went off without a hitch. The music was just amazing – it was “us.” And when it came to dancing, he had the dance floor moving the whole evening. A lot of guests even told us that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to, and we know that the music had a lot to do with that. Joe was also able to accommodate last-minute requests and additions. He and Aria were an absolute joy to work with, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a personalized, seamless, and stress-free experience.

Joe from aria melody really set the tone for our wedding on 8/29/15! We loved his easy going demeanor and positive attitude, not to mention his very impressive resume and experience in the field. Joe was so accommodating to all of our requests and was so appropriate on the mic. He really pulled a rabbit out of a hat with the music when our slideshow malfunctioned. We gave Joe a last minute cd about 30 minutes before our reception and he was able to play the music without a hitch! I really feel like he got our taste in music from the few songs I requested. I would highly recommend aria melody for any event.

I would absolutely recommend Joe Schimicci as a wedding DJ. He was probably one of the best vendors we had for our wedding and we were really pleasantly surprised. Joe is young, energetic but very professional at the same time. He played the music we requested and was able to easily make adjustments upon request throughout the night or based on the crowd. He was also able to work with the venue and day of coordinator to make smooth adjustments to our schedule throughout the evening (which will happen!). Joe was our ideal DJ in the sense that he spoke during our introduction and in between events but was not over the top or cheesy. He was integral in making our night seamless and we heavily relied on him and our coordinator more than anyone else that night to keep our 200 guests and wedding on schedule. Our coordinator also has worked with Joe in the past and raved about him as well. Joe is really terrific to have and we can't say enough good things about him! I can't imagine anyone would regret having Joe as their wedding DJ, honestly.

The whole Aria Melody team, and most especially DJ Rob, was incredible to work with! Highly professional and prompt, and exactly what was promised -- no gimmicks! I was a little bit nervous planning a wedding to be held in NYC by booking most vendors via phone/email and without in-person meetings due to being out of town, but I never questioned that Aria was the right fit for us! We actually looked at two different cities and had some crazy DJ experiences elsewhere, to the point of almost being harassed! Aria and DJ Rob put me at ease and I never had any issues or displeasure.

In the few weeks leading up to the ceremony, DJ Rob sent me links for Spotify playlists so that I could give him a feel for what vibe we wanted for each part of the event: pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, and then a formal dinner separate from the dance party to round out the night. The venue is two stories so we needed sound equipment all over the place, and after setting up for an outdoor ceremony, it started pouring 45 minutes before and we moved the ceremony inside but still had dancing outside. This created A LOT of work for DJ Rob and he handled it incredibly well and was just an all-around pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

We loved Aria Melody's approach to DJ-ing and they are true to how they advertise. No crazy announcements or gimmicks, just great music that provided an essential flow to the whole event! We worked with Rob Sicat for our wedding in New Haven, CT in 2013.

Rob was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our first meeting with him. He was relaxed, had great experience, and really listened to what we wanted. We had hoped to have a band for the wedding but it fell through and I'm so glad that it did. Our guests still talk about how great our DJ was and the whole room was dancing most of the night!!! He also was super helpful in terms of logistics, working on playlists through spotify, and on the day of, helped us with the sound for our outdoor ceremony. I would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking for a fantastic DJ and a truly unforgettable soundtrack to your wedding!!!

We first met John 3 years ago at another wedding he did. As soon as we got engaged, we knew we wanted John to DJ our wedding. From the moment we met John, as others have stated, he really "got us." We gave him a couple songs we wanted played, a couples songs not to play, and full creative license over everything else. He did not disappoint. We wanted our wedding to be a party and John had the dance floor packed from beginning to end. John read the crowd and and left out the cheesy DJ schtick that you so often witness at weddings. He was amazing to work with and made sure to ask us about crowd requests (the groom approved "The Thong Song") and even helped to edit our first dance as we couldn't chose between two songs. We have already recommended John to a friend of ours and can't say enough positive things about him.

Aria Melody provided the music for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We worked with Owen, and loved him! John was also involved with the contract and planning stages and was also great to work with. You book some of these vendors so far in advance and then don't speak with them until a few months before the wedding - sometimes it is stressful and you hope they are still in business and didn't forget about you during those months of little contact, but John was sure to check in with us every couple of months just to see how we were doing and if he could help in any way - amazing! Owen's low-key style is exactly what we wanted, and he was also very responsive and listened closely to and adhered to our playlists and likes/dislikes. Working with Owen and Aria Melody was stress-free, which is exactly what you need during your wedding!

John was our DJ for our wedding November 15, 2014. He was incredibly wonderful to work with from the minute we first contacted through the last song of the night on our wedding day. John, and his company, are truly focused on making sure the bride and groom - and all of your guests - are having the best time possible, while honoring your taste and style in music. John immediately "got" us and played nearly every song we asked him to play at our wedding. Better yet, his improvisational song picks were spot on, crowd pleasers that had the dance floor packed all night. My husband and I have received countless compliments on the music at our wedding. We wanted everyone up off their seats having a great time, which is exactly what we got.

One of the best parts about working with John and his company is the incredible amount of song suggestions they provide you. It was so nice to have that kind of guidance planning out our music, when it is often hard to think of where to start. John even recommended dour first dance song - which we had never heard of before - but have come to love. Guests were coming up to us at the wedding asking us about the song, and telling us how much they loved it.

We are so incredibly happy that we picked John as our DJ.

Aria Melody was great! We had Joseph as our DJ and greatly enjoyed working with him. He really listened to what we wanted (no cheesy songs or excess time on the mike!) and incorporated some last minute changes/additions the day of the wedding seamlessly. We had an amazing time dancing our hearts out, as did our friends/family. We'd recommend Aria Melody in a heartbeat!

My husband and I just got married last weekend, August 30, 2014 and we had Joe as our DJ. From the beginning when we first met him we already had a good feeling about him and when we met up in person we knew that we really made the right decision. I gave him a list of songs so he can have an overview of what we like to listen to and he used that to curate an awesome set list for our wedding. Our wedding was such a blast and everyone was on their feet from the 5 year old to the 70 years olds! He knew when to keep the crowd up and going and when to let them rest and over all he just gave such a great energy! All our friends immediately asked for his information and my mother in law even wants him to DJ her birthday party!! Thank you so much Joe for such a wonderful time, you made our wedding perfect!

Let me start by saying: all of the guests we've heard from has said they loved the music and how perfectly it fit our wedding. We knew early on that we wanted a simple elegant reception to match our personality as a couple. When we met Owen over coffee, we got a good feeling from him that he understood what we were going for AND that he was a professional who knew all the small details we couldn't predict that would help make the day perfect. Owen worked with us to make the reception the perfect mix of excitement, casual, fun, and elegant. As I said earlier, everyone tells us they had a fantastic time, and we really loved it. Thank You, Owen!!! Aria Melody was perfect for our wedding. Owen was awesome to work with and did a great job. He accommodated all our requests, and even found some Italian songs that were requested by our families. He was helpful in guiding us to select the perfect ceremony and reception music for key moments. We are so happy to have worked with Owen and Aria Melody - can't recommend them enough!

I had the pleasure to work Owen for my wedding. From our first meeting to the day of the event, he was so easy to work with. My music selections were played, my do not play list was not played..it was awesome! I made changes to playlist along the process and everything was handled effortlessly. Not to mention, my guests were talking about how great the music was well after my event. Great signs of an awesome DJ!

Talk about a DANCE PARTY!! From the moment we walked in through the doors the WHOLE ENTIRE wedding was dancing their asses off! Owen, our DJ for the night listened to every single word we said, and totally made our wedding the party of the year.

We are so thankful to John, who runs the company and Owen, for their vision and listening to our details. I cannot wait to have another party and have them rocking the house again!

I always second guess reviews with all 5's but Aria Melody definitely deserves the high ratings. I was contacted quickly by John Sinclair after I left my contact information online. He outlined everything I needed to know regarding Aria's services and was beyond helpful. He took care of all of the administrative duties and made sure I was taken care of up to my wedding date.

Joseph Schimicci DJ'ed my wedding and I cannot say enough great things about Joe. He took the time discuss the vibe I was going for at the wedding, the type of music I liked (and the type of music my groom, and family liked as well) I had some pretty specific requests and Joe was able to deliver on everything I needed. After giving Joe a list of songs he was able to incorporate other songs not on the list that I absolutely loved. I allowed my guests to make requests but one of the songs requested I was not a fan of so while dancing I made eye contact withe Joe and he knew right away to smoothly transition out to the next song. It was pretty cool :). A month later guests were still asking about my venue and my DJ.

I highly, highly recommend Aria Melody and would use them again for any event where I need DJ services.

We decided on Aria after seeing Owen dj a friends wedding. The music was awesome and we loved that he never made the night about him. So happy we moved forward with him for our own wedding. He had the dance floor packed the entire night and did a flawless job of feeling out the crowd and playing the right music at the right time. If you want great tunes and a professional who understands it's your night, aria is the way to go. He also did the ceremony and cocktail hour - worth every penny!

I've had the pleasure of using Aria Melody DJ for my wedding in 2011. In 2011, John was the DJ and did a fantastic job bringing his, "No Fog, No Lights, No Gimmicks" brand, focusing on expert music mixing, crowd reading, and creating an overall good vibe with our guests. Since we had such a great experience with this vendor the first time around, we used them again for a birthday party in March 2014.
While I naturally wanted John to DJ this party, he was unavailable, and Joseph S. was given the assignment. I was a bit hesitant since I already knew John's work/style, and was very pleased with it, but I was assured that Joseph would do just as great. I am writing this review to confirm that Joseph did deliver the same brand as expected from Aria Melody DJ. Every one of our guests had a great time at the party and the music was expertly mixed, live, according to the crowd. I had several song requests for Joseph, that I told him during the party, and he was able to hit them all seamlessly.
Overall we had another great experience with Aria Melody DJ and would recommend them to everyone. They deliver a brand of DJ that we enjoy, which is very personal, like a friend doing you a favor. They don't have any signage displayed, they don't give out business cards, they don't just "push play" from a predetermined top 40 song list, they will not play anything you tell them not to (you would think this is obvious but this has happened to several of my friends that have used other DJs), and there is no cheesy shtick. They didn't even say the company name during the night. Aria Melody DJ brings a professional brand of DJ that takes years of experience to perfect.

Rob was absolutely the greatest wedding DJ... he took EVERY request my husband and I made before the wedding and wove it in with his own awesome song ideas perfectly. The parents and "the kids" had an amazing time thanks to him-- it was perfectly balanced.

We had a lot of concern about the volume of music during dinner (parents were very concerned they wouldn't be able to hear themselves talk!). Rob was able to make a very chill vibe that everyone appreciated and enjoyed.

Thank you so much for making our wedding so much fun!

We hired John to DJ our Manhattan wedding and we couldn't be happier with our decision! From our first meeting to our final check-in before the wedding, he was so easy and fun to work with. I consider myself kind of a "music" person and he did an absolutely perfect job playing at our reception. We absolutely loved Aria Melody from the moment we contacted them to the end of the wedding! We first met with John in person and went over what our thoughts were for the wedding music. He was flexible from the very beginning as we were still debating whether to have a DJ or live music for the cocktail hour. We ended up going with the live music and they were very flexible with accommodating that in the schedule. Prior to the wedding, John told us that due to his other work that he was unable to play at the wedding but assured us that Owen would be just as great (Owen actually DJ'd for John's wedding). We spoke with Owen and were just as comfortable with him as we were with John. After sending our thoughts on dinner music and dance music, Owen ensured music was great for all ages and kept the dance floor going all night. He play our must haves and we trusted him fully to pump up the party (as he is the expert in this area so we didn't want to interfere much). Great professionalism and most of all everyone had a BLAST! Thank you John and Owen from Aria Melody for making our night so special and memorable!

John with Aria Melody is exactly who he claims to be....no lights, no gimmicks, no fog...and that is exactly what we wanted for our wedding reception! What we also got was an amazing playlist of music that kept our guests and us on the dance floor all night long! John was extremely professional from the moment we spoke with him on the phone a year before our event and he was very responsive with song selection and music edits leading up to the big day. It was a pleasure working with John, he was friendly, timely and personable. Music selection was a small source of stress for us and John relieved that by giving us the confidence that he would take care of everything and he did! We can't thank John enough for helping create the exact environment we wanted for our wedding day!

Aria Melody DJ is an amazing company and our DJ Rob was professional, talented and just an overall pleasure to work with. He catered to all age ranges but stayed within our taste of music. He was able to read the crowd throughout the night and made sure everyone got on the dance floor. No cheesy gimmicks, no line dancing, just great music!

We had a good feeling about John from the first time we spoke with him. In fact, he made our decision pretty easy, even though he was a bit outside our budget. But in the end, he was definitely worth it. Our biggest criteria was putting people on the dance-floor and he delivered. Professional (easily managed three different set-ups in a challenging venue), attentive, and personable...just about everything we could want from someone who played such a big part on our special day.

We'd recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone who wants to feel at ease about their DJ decision.

John from Aria Melody delivered more than we could ever ask for! His professionalism, creativity and attention to detail was outstanding. We knew we didn't want all the gimmicks, smoke, lights and loud DJ announcements and that's exactly what John delivered! People complemented the fact that the music spoke for itself. John was able to take our song ideas and choose the genre's and music we absolutely love....neither us nor our guests left the dance floor all night! His talent for putting together that perfect mix stood out. Our guests haven't stopped telling us how great the music was and what an awesome time they had! And neither can we!! We cannot thank John enough for helping us achieve the environment we dreamt of for our wedding!

John at Aria Melody DJ is awesome! From the first meeting, to the day of our wedding, John was completely professional, responsive and most importantly- talented. My husband and I gave John a pretty extensive playlist as we both love music and would be damned if our wedding had the usual, overplayed and standard music. John took our requests- played them, and also made his own selections that fit our style and the mood perfectly. He understood what we were going for and surpassed our expectations. There was not a single person seated during the dance portion and our friends and family are still talking about how it was the most fun they've had at a wedding. I should also mention that John was a perfect MC. He provided structure to the evening with simple, non-overbearing announcements and kept things running smoothly. I would highly recommend Aria Melody for any event!

Joe Dunn was our DJ for our wedding on 10/13/13. He was so easy to work with and completely open to all of our ideas. My husband and I were very involved in our song selection for every aspect of the wedding - pre-ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Joe did an amazing job - our friends and family are still talking about how great the music was and how much fun they had. The dance floor was constantly packed and Joe took all of the ideas we had and made them reality. We could not have asked for a better DJ or a better company to work with. John Sinclair was our main contact throughout the process and he was also incredibly responsive and on top of everything. I would recommend them hands down to anyone who is looking for a DJ company that listens to you, avoids all of the corny gimmicks and lets everyone have a great time.

Hire Aria Melody! DJ Joe absolutely blew us away and made our wedding. I cannot begin to count the number of guests that told us that he was the best DJ they've ever heard (which means a lot considering how many weddings our friends have been to recently!). From my first conversation with John (the owner) to my final chat with DJ Joe the week of the wedding, Aria was a pleasure to deal with. Prices are fair and DJ Joe was a complete professional (early, responsive had everything he needed, checked in with us and my coordinator). But it really goes beyond that...these guys are real music fans and love sharing in couples' special day. They are so good at what they do. When I explained a few non-traditional things we wanted, DJ Joe's expert opinion on how to work everything in was invaluable. Our plan was not to have any dancing before dinner but I told DJ Joe to see how the crowd was...turns out they were well ready to party and DJ Joe put together a phenomenal set that resulted in my 60+ year old aunt (who is a librarian) TWERKING! Our dance floor was PACKED the entire night. To make things even better, DJ Joe made sure it was "our" wedding and incorporated the random assortment of favorite musicians my husband and I have - including everything from Oasis (and not a remix versions - he followed those directions perfectly!) to a Britney Spears/Gwen Stefani mash-up (my 2 fav ladies...my mind was blown!). We cannot thank DJ Joe and Aria Melody enough for making our wedding the party of a lifetime. Highly, highly recommend these guys!

My husband and I chose Aria Melody DJ for our wedding, because we loved their tag line: No Lights, No Fog, No Gimmicks, which is exactly what we wanted and that is exactly who they are. We worked with Owen, who was incredibly responsive, great with providing suggestions and very professional. Owen played the ceremony and the reception and all seemed to flow nicely. There were also a couple points in the evening that we requested a certain song to be played, at an exact time and he nailed it each time. The dance floor seemed to be filled throughout the night, with all different ages, and the positive feedback we received in the following days confirmed, for us, that we made the right decision in hiring Aria Melody for our wedding. I would definitely work with them, again!

I cannot speak higher about Aria Melody. We were expecting the hunt for our DJ was going to be long and difficult but after meeting Owen we knew he would be perfect. He immediately was able to understand our music styles. In the months leading up to the wedding we worked very close with Owen on what songs we wanted played (thanks you Spotify!). He was SO GREAT in helping us pick out our specialty songs (ie: ceremony, mother son dance). Also-- John has some killer Spotify playlists which I pretty much listened to daily.

Now for the actual day of! What a success!! Owen blew it out of the park. Everyone was coming up to us during and after the wedding saying how perfect the music was. I swear he's psychic he knew exactly what to play at every moment. I could go on and on and on but just know that Owen and the AM team is fabulous. You will be very happy having them as your wedding entertainment !!

Outstanding. Words cannot describe how pleased we are with Rob's work at our wedding. We gave him a few do/do not play-- but let him run the show. All we told them was that we had a wide range of ages and wanted everyone on the dance floor for the majority of the night, and he did just that. The night flew by, and guests raved on how amazing, awesome, insane the music was and how it would flow. The dance floor was packed all night! Amazing job, thank you!!

We learned about Aria Melody because Owen was the DJ for our friends' wedding a few years ago, and we had a blast at it. For our wedding, we worked with John, and I can honestly say it was the most stress-free part of planning our event. John was professional, responsive, flexible with meeting times, offered great advice on the selection and timing of our songs, and knew the ins and outs of our venue. My parents ballroom dance and had some unusual song requests that my husband and I were worried would detract from the fun of the party, but John was able to work in all the requests at opportune times while keeping the party going the entire night, so everyone young and old had a great time. I think the most important thing is that working with John, we had 100% peace of mind that everything was going to run smoothly, and it did. I don't know why anyone would choose another company! Aria Melody DJ is awesome.

Aria Melody was an amazing DJ. John is very responsive and a pleasure to work with. He helped us arrange everything with our DJ Joe. Joe was 100% on point all evening. He played great music at the all the right times and kept flow of the wedding going perfectly. He was great to work with and got to know our music taste and what we wanted the feel of the wedding to be like. We received many compliments about Joe and how great of a DJ he was. Everyone was saying that they have never been to a wedding where people danced so much for almost the entire wedding. I highly recommend them.

The first DJ we met with claimed to not be a "cheesy" wedding DJ, but then proceeded to make me feel badly/stupid that we didn't want a MC, lights, bouquet toss, etc. I left that meeting in tears. When we met with John of Aria Melody, I immediately knew we'd found our DJ. He was flexible in terms of scheduling a meeting with our busy work schedules, had amazing music suggestions, and found a way to blend our music tastes (90s grunge for my husband, alt-country for me) during dinner into songs that got EVERYONE on the dance floor.

For our wedding, we were specifically looking for a DJ who would just play music (good music) and keep the dance party flowing - we didn't want strobe lights, blow-up microphones, or any of that stuff! Aria Melody delivered on our wishes.

Joe was our DJ and we had a great experience with him and with the company, overall. Both he and John were pretty quick to respond to emails and phone calls, and they weren't perplexed by our "minimalist" DJ requirements (as that is basically what they do - the whole "no gimmicks" thing). Several other DJ companies we inquired with offered no less than two-man teams to DJ our wedding (which we thought was unnecessary and only served to drive up the price) and didn't quite understand that we did NOT want to be presented as "bride and groom" accompanied by Jock Jams and a smoke machine.

If you're looking for a DJ that will be easy to work with and play the music you want to hear at your wedding, then we would suggest Aria Melody. Our wedding guests mostly commented on 3 things from our wedding: the food, the MUSIC, and the overall atmosphere (and also my dress - had to throw that one in there) - overall that is an A+ wedding, in our opinion.

Aria Melody is all about the "no gimmicks, no lights, no cheese" and this is exactly what we wanted. John Sinclair was really easy to get in touch with and he put us in touch with our Dj, Owen. Owen found out more about us and we created a really fun musical atmosphere that everyone, from my friends to my parents, could enjoy. I would highly recommend Owen and Aria Melody to any bride!

We had Joe DJ our wedding and he was fantastic! He had everyone dancing all night, including our older family members and all of our friends. He was also super flexible, we ended up changing the whole order of the party during cocktail hour to accommodate my sick grandmother who had to leave early. My dad really wanted her to see our father / daughter dance and we had originally scheduled it to be later in the evening. Anyway, Joe was completely flexible and re-organized the whole night on the spot.
Before the party was over our friends were asking for the DJs info. We've already given it to several people! He's truly amazing!
