We booked Araiza Events for our wedding on 6/29/23 and they were simply amazing! They provided both DJ services and the photo booth. Peter, the lead DJ and business owner, was flexible and worked within our budget, and from the first phone call with him, I felt that things would go really well! He was so friendly and professional! He turned out to be the best DJ we could have dreamed of!
Months prior to the wedding, we asked Peter if he could help shorten our first dance song. He quickly emailed us back two different shortened versions he created of the song – both great! He shared his preference for one version over the other, which matched our preference and made us feel even more reassured. Within a month before the wedding, I asked Peter to edit my ceremony entrance song; he did this as well and it was exactly what we had envisioned. On our wedding day, Peter and his assistant showed up super early and threw the best party we could have dreamed of! He used the songs we wanted, added some great extra songs, and mixed everything in the perfect order! He was also a great MC and his voice sounded like it was made for this job!
He also personalized the photo booth he provided for us with a display of us and an overlay that matched our wedding colors and theme. It was exactly what we wanted! Even the reels he made and shared on Instagram after our wedding were super cool!
I would recommend Araiza events to anyone getting married or needing DJ/ photobooth services to make their event awesome! We’re grateful to Peter and his team for making our wedding exactly what we wanted!

Peter came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Was the only vendor to reply quickly and check in on us. We got the dj and Photo Booth service. The photobooth got so many positive comments about the quality and set up from our guest. The dance floor was packed all night which was my biggest concern since it was a Mexican-Dutch- Catholic and Jewish wedding. You will not be disappointed by Peter and his amazing team.Araiza Events's reply:

Peter was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond in every way. He was a great DJ and really helped us feel great on our special day. If you’re looking for an amazing DJ for your wedding, look no further than Peter and team at Araiza Events! Peter played all the music that my guests and I loved, and was a fantastic MC who got the crowd cheering and dancing all night long! He provided all the microphones speakers, sound equipment and lighting for our beach ceremony and indoor reception. So many of my guests told me how much they enjoyed Peter as the DJ. You won’t be disappointed when you hire Araiza Events! -

Peter is him!
Peter was incredible to work with! Despite the heat reaching the triple digits, he was able to keep our guests entertained with incredible music and ambiance. He landed the brief in the kind of music we wanted - from soulful neo-jazz during cocktail hour to a salsa/bachata mix during the reception. The photo booth he provided was also a great hit! He allowed us to work with him on creating a custom frame that utilized assets that we decided to design ourselves and incorporate elements that he was able to update the interface with. Highly recommend him, especially if your group needs someone to keep the party live!Araiza Events's reply:

Peter was amazing! Great communicator and extremely professional all at a great value! We highly recommend the photobooth and Peter will guide you through all the ins-and-outs of music, audio, and even visual needs. He had a projector and a screen that we rented from him and everything was run smoothly, without hassle, and at an affordable price. His MC skills are great and you won't have to worry about an unprofessional or self-promoting MC! We can't recommend Peter and Araiza Events enough! -

Peter provides an amazing dj experience that both put my wife and I at ease with planning our big day as well as his expertise to get everyone on the dance floor and make lasting memories forever. Wow wow wow! What more can I say about Peter and Araiza Events! Peter really made my wedding an amazing success. My partner (now my husband) and I really didn’t want to do a traditional wedding especially it being at our home and in our back yard. But after meeting with Peter, he really helped us beyond belief! From filling out a worksheet with everything from what songs we liked and disliked to timelines of the event and names of parents, wedding party to special people. I had no idea how important these things are! If it wasn’t for Peter who would have known how the event would have turned out. We gave him a playlist and he put it all together added a few and made our day so much fun! Everyone we talked to has mentioned how much fun the wedding was and it was in large part to the dancing and music. He kept the music mixed up so perfect that I had to sit for a min to regain my breath. then back to the dance area for more fun! Also I need to mention the lighting that was placed throughout our backyard made everything so magically perfect. Peter, you kicked butt and I’ll never forget how amazing you are! I would say that Araiza events definitely stick by their motto of more than just a Dj. We were blessed to have Peter work with us because not only did we get a great Dj but we got a wedding coordinator and so much more all wrapped up in one. Peter has shown nothing but genuine interest in our story and event being taken place in addition to showing professionalism that was beyond compare. From day one peter brought up plenty of ideas and questions that an engaged couple did not think of such as lighting and events during the wedding i.e. shoe game /garter removal. He took it to a different level when he introduced his google form that was so detailed from songs to dance to to songs not to dance to, entrance songs. If Araiza events had a magic sauce that form would be the recipe. Peter was very flexible when it came down to meeting times and also songs of choice as I wanted a medley for the first dance. I gave him the cues and everything went smoothly. He was always honest and upfront with us if something can or can’t be done or would come off bad for example my original idea for garter removal could’ve been taken as insulting my new wife. However peter gave me a different perspective and im glad I changed my plans.
On the day of the event peter was the best friend i needed on the other side. Meanwhile my best man/best friend helped me take care of decorations and ensuring my daughters and their nanny were taken care of, Peter ensured i was taken care of from making sure i had utensils to ensuring I had some food in my stomach. He was my rock reminding me to breathe and ensuring no matter the chaos / party bus arriving late / people showing up early / running out of time for the open bar / that everything will turn our great and it did.
On top of everything his DJ skillset is amazing. He guided us to make playlists and he incorporated some of my favorite songs during the cocktail hour and dinner. Many times I found myself singing along to songs or catching guests singing with me. These were times where I was going to request a song and before I can even step towards Peter the song is already on. He found and used songs that weren’t not available on streaming services to use for the mother son dance. For the last song my wife and I requested a song that isn’t common however as it was on our playlist it was ready to go. That created a special moment of drunken bliss that will never be forgotten.
Id like to thank Peter and Araiza events for giving me and my wife such a beautiful event to which we will cherish in our memories forever. I hope to get lucky and have him for every vow renewal / wedding / baptism /sweet 16 any event i can get him for.Araiza Events's reply:

Peter came into our wedding with a very late notice of about 3 weeks prior to our wedding. He was very responsive and assertive when he needed information. I mean this in a good way, because with weddings there is a lot of planning and a lot of movement. Peter was very involved and active in the whole process and he did an amazing job at our wedding. We are very particular with our music selection, and amazingly (unsurprisingly I’m sure), Peter went above and beyond during the wedding. We had people dancing all night, and we had many compliments from our guests on the music selection. Peter really made the whole night flow very smoothly and he was extremely patient, calm, and confident. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ honestly. If you’re looking for a superb DJ that you feel you’ve been close friends with, I would go with Peter.Araiza Events's reply:

My hubby & I hired Peter to help us with our couples dance for our wedding. This was not just a simple couples dance; it was the Dirty Dancing finale with the famous lift and all!! Being a professional dancer and instructor, Peter took on the challenge like a champ, and was so incredibly professional, enthusiastic, and patient with us through out the 6 months he worked with us!
He was very easy to work, communicate and coordinate with. He was very creative with the choreography by utilizing our strengths and abilities and made us look good despite our limitations. And yet, Peter made sure we hit all the signature moves from the movie! He was so awesome with us; I guarantee he would be the same working with anyone! I strongly recommend Peter for any services he offers for weddings and events! This guy knows what he’s doing! -

If I had to choose the top factor that made my wedding reception amazing, without any hesitation at all it would be Peter Araiza. From start to finish, working with him was a seamless, professional, and ridiculously fun experience. He was extremely communicative, which put my wedding-planning mania to rest, and answered every panicked question with total confidence. The day of, he was prompt, efficient, and once the party started, he totally ran the show. There was never a dull moment, never a lull in fun, and he had everyone dancing. As one of those hostesses who cannot stop worrying that her guests are entertained, it was a massive relief and allowed me to really enjoy my own reception. Anytime you don’t worry about a vendor Is a blessing, they did our lighting and was our dj! Peter called and communicated so easily through it all, was so flexible with us when we initially had to postpone and was great to work with -

Araiza Events DJ’ed our Engagement Party. They provided us with helpful suggestions and even created a timeline for our event. They were always available for questions and were flexible through the whole process. We have had such an amazing experience with them that we even decided to check out some of their other services.
After our engagement party, we decided to take dance lessons from them to get ready for our first dance. So far they have made this process extremely enjoyable. After only a few lessons, we no longer have to worry about our two left feet. We are pretty shy people but they are helping us build the confidence we were lacking to dance in front of all our guests. We highly recommend Araiza Events to anyone who likes to work with down to earth, reliable and fun people. -

If you are looking for a professional, attentive and personable experience you have come to the right place!
Peter did music and and event lighting and transformed our wedding event. We hosted our wedding at a private residence and he helped us see that we could add better visibility and mood lighting throughout the property. Anything he didn’t already have, he was able to secure through his resourcefulness and at competitive pricing. What’s even more impressive, he managed to tackle this for my event in Santa Barbara and his home base is Long Beach.
I highly recommend him for any event, he will elevate anything you want to put together. -

We hired Peter as the DJ for our Santa Barbara wedding nearly 2 and a half years ago, and after several pandemic related delays we were finally able to put on our event! Working with Peter has been our absolute pleasure. He is not only talented as a DJ and emcee, but is also incredibly organized and communicates well.
We appreciated how thorough and transparent Peter was during the planning process(es). He has an extensive questionnaire and checklist that helped us better define our vision for our event, and gave us questions to bring to our other vendors. He checked in regularly to make sure that we were hanging in there and followed up quickly after our planning sessions. And as our wedding approached, he went above and beyond to help us finalize our timeline (including thinking of things like where a bathroom break could be squeezed in) and made suggestions that made the event flow much better. As an MC and DJ, he had everything running perfectly and the dance floor full all night until the last song.
We would work with Peter again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him to anyone looking for DJ and event services!!
