I love April!
I will try not to be too long winded with this but we had a very chilly elopement and April was a very crucial part of making it all we could have asked for. She was always available to chat or if I had questions. She literally stood by us every step of the way. We had a small ceremony at my sister in law’s house because my husband’s Mom was passing away from Cancer. Our wedding ceremony was perfect thanks to April’s ability to personalize the script and make it unique. We wanted our ceremony to reflect us as a couple and it did just that. She was actually the only JP we talked to because once we finished our initial conversation was complete, both my now husband and I couldn’t have agreed more that we didn’t need to speak to anyone else! From our first conversation April took the time to really get to know the both of us, asked a bunch of questions to make sure our ceremony was personalized and made us feel so comfortable with the entire process. She sent a draft of the ceremony and really double checked to make sure it was completely what we had hoped for. The day of our wedding she arrived ahead of schedule and assured us everything would be perfect, and it was! I don't think anything can faze April. When lightning struck less than 800 feet away during our ceremony, April just kept on going as if nothing had happened. Earlier in the planning process, April was equally cool when COVID forced us to replan the wedding several times. Acts of nature aside, April is amazing to work with. The first time we talked to her on the phone, it felt like we were catching up with an old friend. We instantly knew we had found our officiant. April works very hard to give you the wedding ceremony you want, while also using her expertise to help guide you through any parts of the ceremony that you might not be so sure about. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

COVID Wedding - October 2020
We had a big wedding planned for October of 2020 and then COVID hit and we were forced to postpone until October of 2021. After a lot of thought we decided to keep the original 2020 date and hold a very small ceremony with our parents and Best Peoples. April was recommended to us from our wedding planner and she dove right in with very little time to prepare. She met us in Boston and was flexible as we tried to make the best of it. Her thoughtful words made the day one we and our parents will never forget. While we plan to have a big ceremony in 2021, the 2020 ceremony will always be special for its intimacy. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant for the day.

The creative process is often a little chaotic, but some can turn anarchy into art, and that is precisely what April did. She took a handful of scattered ideas and penned them into an achingly beautiful ceremony. My wife and I broke many conventions, but the difference between our guests seeing the custom ceremony as liberating rather than sacrilegious was in April's universal message of love and respect. Our guests loved her, and several people told us how her words moved them to tears. I was certainly crying, but from the moment I arrived late for my own wedding, April took my hands and calmed me. A few guests told us they thought April was a friend of ours, because we all have brightly colored hair and we seemed to know each other so well. Dream Officiant!!
April, the offbeat JP, was incredible. My fiancé and I are not religious, but it was still important for us to have a professional officiate our ceremony. Enter April. Of all our wedding vendors, April completely got a sense of who we were immediately when we met. It was so easy to chat with her and communicate our needs and wants. When I received the ceremony April wrote for us, I truly couldn’t believe how amazing it was. She absorbed so many details and captured our vision better than I could have even described it!! On top of that, she is prompt, professional, and so kind. I am so grateful that she guided us through the most important few minutes of our lives. Couldn’t have worked with a better JP!!!!

The Perfect Ceremony
We could not have asked for a better experience than the one we had with April. She was so helpful every step of the way, and wrote the most beautiful ceremony for us. She even had a spare lighter when the unity candle went out! We could not recommend her more highly.

Very professional, delight to work with
We’re so pleased that we chose April to officiate our wedding in early June. April was wonderful to work with and really helped make our ceremony beautiful and special. She is super organized and very professional and helped us stay up to speed with what was needed each step of the way. It was very easy and natural to work with April, and we feel (and we were told by our guests) that the ceremony that April helped us create was very authentically us. Professional helpful and easy to work with
Our experience with April was smooth and professional. There is a lot going on when you are planning a wedding. It was comforting having an officiant who was able to work with us and was understanding when were were not always the best at getting back to her.
The ceremony itself went extremely well and we could not be happier. She took in our feedback and crafted something that felt truly special and helped create a wonderful moment for us both.

Loved our ceremony!
We found April on Wedding Wire as we were specifically looking for a Justice of the Peace close to our wedding venue. We decided to book April's services based on the reviews and her initial email in response to our inquiry. We were not disappointed! April helped us create a beautiful ceremony that was not religious but special and unique. We did not know where to start and based on our emails back and forth she was able to capture the sentiments and feelings we were looking for. Our guests raved about our ceremony and April was professional and fabulous on our big day. Thank you so much April for creating an unforgettable wedding ceremony for us!

April was a perfect fit for our wedding!! Every step of the way she communicated everything so well with us and answered all my questions along the way! Every detail of our ceremony was perfectly tailored to our relationship which our guests not only noticed but complimented us on! Perfect officiant for our urgent ceremony
April was fantastic. We decided to get married on very short notice and picked her to be our officiant. It was to be a small ceremony with family only. Not only did she have the availability on short notice, she helped us create a custom ceremony with vows and ring exchange, working with us the whole way through, alleviating any stress. She was truly a blessing for our blessed event.

April was our officiant for our 9-15-18 wedding and my husband and I could not have been more pleased! April was easy to get in touch with and always had the answers to my questions. We wanted something lighthearted but with with its serious moments and she wrote a fantastic ceremony that described us perfectly. It's like we had known her forever. People were raving afterwards how beautiful our ceremony was and how the vows were so well written. We felt so lucky to have her and would definitely recommend!

April was absolutely amazing! She completely got the vibe we were going for. She wrote such a perfect ceremony. She included our kids which was awesome. I felt like it was a friend writing and performing our ceremony. She just really understood us as a family. She is so easy to get ahold of. Answers any questions so promptly. And gave me great suggestions that I wouldn’t have even thought of on my own. I had multiple people come to me and say how amazing she was! April was wonderful to work with! My husband and I chose to ask April to be our officiant based on her positive reviews and the fun vibe she presents on her website. Meeting her only on the day of the wedding we felt immediately at ease with her calm and professional demeanor. She did a great job handling the high winds that picked up during our outdoor ceremony and helped our guests think lightly of the weather as well - without even needing to comment on it! She carried on with our ceremony and projected very well so everyone could still hear her. At our request April also added into our ceremony a Sand Pouring ceremony, which we both loved as well as many of our guests who commented on it afterwards. We thank you so much for a lovely ceremony April!

I don't even know where to begin April was the perfect person to perform our ceremony. She was welcoming,listened and creatively came up with the perfect most tear jerking ceremony. April was awesome and we’re so happy we chose her officiate our wedding. My husband had arranged for us to get married in a small intimate wedding in front of my elderly grandfather (a year before our planned wedding), so last minute I had to find a Justice of the Peace. April was great and very responsive, and quickly worked with me to get me into her schedule! It was a very emotional and stressful day but April handled every thing in such a professional and calm manner. We wouldn’t have been happier with anyone else!

April was so patient and helpful! Every time we spoke she was full of wonderful encouragement! We did almost all of our wedding ourselves and she gave us some awesome resources for where to find items. On the day, she even helped out with fluffing 1000 paper cranes! She was such a calming presence that we definately needed! The ceremony itself was perfect and everything we could have wanted. When she sent it to us for a proofread I knew it was perfect (and cried)! You can't go wrong with choosing April! Here's hoping she is still around doimg this in many years so she can do our vow renewal!

April is the absolute best! I needed a Justice of the Peace on very short notice. I chose April based on her location and reviews and couldn't be happier. She responded right away and was able accommodate me for the following weekend. She was so professional but at the same time I felt like she was an old friend even though our wedding was the first time I had ever met her.

I cannot say enough about April. She was so helpful to me throughout my planning process. She gave me ideas and suggestions when planning the ceremony and sent me the final draft ahead of time. When the day came she was genuinely happy for us and felt instantly like a part of our wedding family. I highly recommend her to everyone because it's clear that she truly loves what she does. My expectations were met to the fullest.

April is the best! From start to finish, we loved every interaction we had with her. Upon first meeting she made us feel comfortable and confident in our choice. I can not say enough about how truly beautiful and amazing my wedding ceremony was. We got so many compliments all night about how it was the perfect amount of tradition and fun. Everyone loved how beautifully she delivered the ceremony, even the die hard church ceremony advocated couldn't deny how amazing she was.
