Wonderful people to work with

Dan and Marie are both very helpful and their second shooter is so so sweet. Our wedding pictures are beautiful! No issues with them given the pandemic. Cant wait to order our album

Dan was Amazing!

Dan and Marie are amazing! Marie answered all of my questions via email and even helped me make a wedding timeline since I didn’t have a wedding coordinator which was super sweet of her! Dan took my husband and my engagement pictures (which were also amazing) so we were already comfortable with him. He even made my non photogenic husband smile (score!). Looking back at our wedding pictures I am overcome with joy! They captured every part of our day! I would highly recommend!

Flexible and Time efficient

Dan and Marie interested me with their skills, and won me over with their passion. They are so good at making even my picture hating husband feel like an hour worth of pictures was only about 5minutes. They make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, know exactly how to move you to look like a straight up model. They were so amazingly flexible with payments and making time to meet up or talk on the phone about everything going on. I am so excited to see the pictures!!

Hands down, best photographers out there.

Dan and Marie are a lovely couple that perform exceptional teamwork which is incredibly vital in a wedding and the wedding planning process. Our wedding photos are so exquisite that I must have looked through them 100+ times the week after we received them. Their partnership truly shines through the entire process— from booking all the way through to the final photos. They really are talented and an absolute treasure to work with!

Our wedding was almost 200 guests and a jam packed schedule filled with a number of personalized nuances that they adapted to with excitement. They made sure to call and double/triple check on plans/timelines and even reached out to our DJ to make sure everyone was on the same page. Our wedding was in August in St. Augustine… hot, sticky, humid, gross, etc. BUT it didn’t stop Dan from capturing a plethora of lovely moments all the while, sharing a few laughs with our family and bridal party. As a former photographer, Dan’s hustle to get that perfect shot (especially in the heat) was admirable.

Genuinely one of the best parts of our wedding. A solid 5 stars for Dan and Marie at Appleseed Photography. 100% recommend!

We highly recommend Appleseed Photography! Marie was very responsive to emails and was able to recommend timeframe and get that information over to us quickly. Dan did our photography and he was so much fun to work with. We had so many people compliment us about the photographers just at the wedding because they weren't intrusive but seemed to be getting shots from everywhere. Can't wait for the pictures!

Marie and Dan are INCREDIBLE. They really went above and beyond for our special day. Not only did they take fantastic photos, Marie even helped me and my bridesmaids get ready since we were running tight on time. A fantastic company. Highly recommend.

We hired Appleseed photography for our daughter's wedding on Amelia Island in May of 2017. Marie and Dan make a wonderful team--often capturing the same moment from different angles and identifying "artsy" opportunities before, during and after the ceremony. Marie added additional value in helping the bridesmaids with makeup and eyelashes! Thank you Appleseed!

True Artist!!! I was introduced to Appleseed Photography by my wedding planner. She assured me that I would love their work and I did. I got married March 18th of this year. We had a Great Gatsby themed wedding so everything had to be grand and timeless. We first met with Marie and had the pleasure of Dan shooting our engagement photo shoot and our wedding day. When me and my husband received our pictures back we were immediately filled with emotions. The pictures were so perfect. We felt that we were living our wedding night all over again just looking through them. They did such a great job capturing every moment as well as embracing the theme. God has truly blessed them with an amazing gift. Thank you Appleseed Photography for photographing the best day of my life and making out memories look stunning!

Dan and Marie are wonderful to work with! Their photos and work speak for themselves. They offered us a free 1 hour engagement session with our booking and were super accommodating and speedy in getting those pictures edited and sent to us so we could use them for a photo album guestbook. We had to delay our engagement shoot a few times so getting our photos to us as quickly as they did was so awesome! They photographed our Spring Wedding in March and I received my finished photos today. I am blown away by how many beautiful moments they captured and the artistic eye they have! Absolutely amazing photos that we will enjoy for many years to come! I highly recommend them!

They did great! Arrived on time, seemed to know where they wanted pictures in order to get the best lighting. We haven't received the final pictures yet, but I anticipate them turning out great. No complaints!

Dan and Marie were very helpful, kind, and pleasant to work with. They captured every single moment on our special day, even the tiny little details. Dan and Marie were great! They are a great team & make you feel very comfortable to work with. Our wedding was on the windiest day I can remember, at the beach, and despite the weather they were still able to get some beautiful pictures outside. I am so happy with how everything turned out. The day goes by so fast, but you have those pictures to remember forever. I'm very happy we decided to go with Appleseed, I will cherish our photos forever.

Dan and Marie are amazing beyond words. Dan captured our engagement session, which was absolutely incredible and both of them photographed our wedding.
They are both very professional and you can tell that they take a lot of pride in their work. They have a great sense of humor, were very encouraging, and were happy to allow us to try to do shots that we specifically wanted.
When I received my images back, I was so pleased with them. Every image is edited wonderfully and I can't stop looking at them.
I honestly can say that I am very impressed. I originally had my wedding booked with them for April 16th, and spontaneously decided to move the date for December 5th. I called Marie and she was very happy to accommodate my changes, even if they inconvenienced her and even talked with me for over an hour with suggestions on venues and what not.
She was very helpful and was happy to help me as much as she could.
Also, they are actually one of the most inexpensive photographers that I came across if you're looking for professional quality. I definitely think that it was worth it and I recommend them greatly.

Appleseed Photography was hands down the best decision made for my wedding (besides my groom of course!) When researching I found Appleseed’s work I was immediately impressed. A husband and wife team, Dan and Marie. Dan(my main photographer) made me comfortable & had me laughing when I was sure I’d be nothing but nervous. He really made it fun. At one point he asked to take a photo of me holding a bunch of Twizzlers like a bouquet! It was unexpected but turned out to be such a cool & very unique picture! My wishes came true many times that day thanks to A.S. We even got to take some special photos with our dog all dressed up, right after our first look. ~A.S. was very helpful & went above & beyond the call of duty every step of the way. They offered pro-advice on the set-up & placement of our homemade paper-moon photo booth in terms of lighting, location, etc And for our engagement shoot they reviewed photos of outfits I was contemplating & assisted me with selecting & coordinating the best options. Also helped me narrow down engage-shoot locations- sent me links to view their prior sessions at the sites I was considering. They gave their honest opinions on the pros/cons of each place. ~My wedding venue notified us last minute of an unfortunate change of schedule A.S. brought extra staff (3 people) so we'd get every photo possible! ~They made a point to ask/become familiar w/ any sensitive family issues & accommodated despite all they were juggling that day. I recommended A.S. to a friend needing photography for her maternity session. When writing A.S. a well-deserved review she asked me to add this about Marie: “She was very warm&accommodating to my (very pregnant) condition-always concerned with my comfort, making sure I wasn’t hot, tired, etc" She even called to make sure I brought water. She was so kind and I really enjoyed the shoot.”
We are both grateful to have found Appleseed Photography. I highly recommend them for any type of photography needs.

Marie and Dan from Appleseed were very responsive to all my questions before the ceremony. Marie helped me to create a wedding day timeline, and on the big day, when things did not go exactly as planned (weather and cranky wedding party member), Marie and Dan seamlessly adjusted the timeline and kept cool heads. At the reception, they were so pleasant in working with me to take all the photos I wanted of my and my husband's family. Although I have not yet seen the wedding photos, the engagement photos were gorgeous! I highly recommend Appleseed Photography.

My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Appleseed Photography! We can't say enough great things about them. We loved working with Marie and Dan for both our engagement and wedding day photos (and looking forward to other future shoots!). They are friendly, professional, extremely helpful, and quick to respond to all of our questions. Marie even helped us with our wedding day timeline. Marie and Dan are absolutely amazing! I was referred to them by my Maid of Honor who used them a few years prior to my wedding and I am ever so thankful. After meeting Marie for the first time I knew she was the right fit for us. She is fun, energetic, creative, flexible, complimentary, and professional. I knew Marie and Dan of Appleseed Photography would be my photographer as soon as my husband and I sat down with them the first time. They are enthusiastic, confident, creative, and very professional. The quality of photos they produce and the value you receive is remarkable. I am an artist with a very picky eye and the photographic style at Appleseed really caught my eye. The colors, clarity, artistic shots, lighting effects, and editing makeyour pictures look like they should be in a magazine. The personality of this couple is also wonderful to work with. I recently got married in December and after much research decided to contact Dan and Marie. From the first email Marie was extremely nice, helpful and fast with responding. We spoke on the phone a few weeks before the wedding to finalize details and after our conversation, I knew they were going to be fantastic. She covered details I would have never thought about. On the day of the wedding...which was supposed to be an outside ceremony and reception it rained and we were forced to move inside. Despite the changes Dan and Marie were extremely flexible, compassionate and nothing short of wonderful. They are so creative and were able to capture beautiful photos despite the rain. Every detail and exciting moment from ceremony to exit was captured for us to look at and remember forever. Every picture is amazing and I could not be happier. The rain was no match for them or us and I am so grateful that they were willing to go out and take pictures in that weather. They went above and beyond and even after stalking their blog and facebook page, knowing we were going to get wonderful photos, they still exceeded my expectations. We even got our pictures early! I cannot say enough good things! I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a photographer for any occasion. They even traveled 2 hours for us and were very reasonable on travel expenses. THEY ARE FANTASTIC!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Appleseed Photography!! Their talent, service and professionalisim is above and beyond anything that I could have ever hoped for! Marie and Dan captured ever precious moment of my special day. The pictures were creative and turned out so very beautiful. Marie and Dan Leslie are absolutely outstanding to work with. Marie did our engagement photos and both Marie and Dan shot our wedding. They are such a power couple and compliment each other so beautifully. They both have such an eye for these amazing artistic looking shots which my husband and I both love. Although my husband and I are friends with Marie and Dan, they both seem to still maintain this amazing professionalism, yet are still able to make you feel so comfortable. Finishing up my makeup and seeing all my girls dressed in our hotel room was starting to make me very nervous, and the second Marie and Dan showed up, I was completely put at ease. They bring such a fun and laid back energy. The fact that we are friends just made our sessions that much more fun, exciting, and special. They are so organized, punctual, and kept our sessions right on schedule. Marie helped me plan out my entire schedule for the day of the wedding, including when my hair and makeup artists should be finished over the phone, and was always quick to respond to any questions and concerns I had. Appleseed Photography is THE best photography company in Jacksonville and I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone I know. We love you Marie and Dan!

Dan and Marie were wonderful!!! Dan had never photographed a wedding at Jekyll Island before and he went prior to the wedding to look around the island and find good photo opportunities. Dan and his assistant showed up early on the wedding day and stayed late. They worked so hard and the photos turned out great. I could not be more pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

Appleseed Photography is the best of the best! Dan and Marie went out of their way to make our wedding special! They were even early for the event, and worked so hard to make sure we got the best pictures (and as many of them as possible!). The pictures are stunning, the rates are good for any budget, and you will not find friendlier or more professional individuals to work at your wedding!

Marie and Dan were truly amazing. The pictures created throughout the day were beautiful. They both took out the time to listen and read through the type of pictures, the feel I wanted, the lighting I was hoping for, and all of my concerns as well. Family and friends all loved looking through the pictures and seeing all of the emotions and special moments of the day. Marie and Dan will respond immediately and take out the time to provide wonderful service.

I looked at their blog and I really liked the pictures there. I was so excited when I received beautiful pictures of our wedding. I'm so glad that we chose Marie and Dan as our wedding photographers. They are easy and great to work with. They captured lots of beautiful moments. Photo delivery got delayed because of an accident, but they sent us updates and they were sincere, so there was no problem.

Dan and Marie were AMAZING to work with. I cannot recommend a better photographer. From first meeting Marie I knew they would be a joy to work with. They were very responsive and I knew I would not have to worry a bit on my wedding day. They are great at what they do and it really shows in their pictures. They captured every single moment during my big day and I find myself constantly looking at our pictures.

If you want a photographer who is easy and wonderful to work with, very creative, on time, and one that you can trust choose Appleseed Photography. Our pictures are amazing and we know we will want to look at them forever. There was not one bad photo. They are amazing.

I haven't seen any pictures yet... since my wedding was less than a week ago... but I am comfortable leaving a review without even seeing the pics. They are very passionate about what they do. Very fun to work with... we had an all around great experience. Everyone kept commenting on how long the photographers stayed around.... they couldn't believe they were still there!

Amazing Photographers!! Highly Recommend!!

Marie and Dan were absolutely wonderful to work with! They were very professional, very nice, and I am so happy with the way our photos turned out. I am really impressed with their creativity and in the range of different styles of pictures they were able to provide us with. On our wedding day they were right on time and actually stayed a little longer than we had originally planned to take some family photos for everyone. They did a great job dealing with my very large, very boisterous family!

Our wedding planner actually ended up ditching us at the beginning of the reception and Marie and Dan stepped in and helped guide us through the rest of the reception. They were extremely helpful and we really appreciated the way they stepped in to help us out. Ever since I have gotten back our photos I just can't stop looking at them! Getting such wonderful pictures back is like getting to relive the day all over again. Marie and Dan really went above and beyond and I would hire them again in a second! I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a great photographer! :-)

I had the pleasure of working with Marie from Appleseed Photography for my engagement & wedding pictures. First, off she is an absolute pleasure to be around, making you feel comfortable in every picture. She took absolutely amazing photographs and captured every moment beautifully. We were recently married in Hilton Head, SC and had the pleasure of working with Marie and Dan from Appleseed. We were drawn to the photos on their website and were ecstatic to find out they would travel to Hilton Head from Jacksonville. We saw each other prior to the wedding and had some photos done beforehand in order to relax more during the ceremony and reception. The time we spent prior to the ceremony with Marie and Dan was exactly what we needed. Marie and Dan made us feel relaxed and were super easy to work with. While we haven't seen the pictures yet, we know they're going to turn out amazing. We can not speak any higher of Marie and Dan. My husband and I got married on the beach in Destin, FL this summer. We chose Appleseed Photography and we couldn't be happier with the result! Compared to other photographers in the area, Appleseed is one of the more reasonably priced. We definitely feel like we got the best value for our money! Call me partial, but I think our wedding photos are breathtaking! We have received so many compliments. I would chose Appleseed Photography again and again to capture the precious moments in my life!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing of a job Marie & Dan did to capture our Engagement & Wedding images! Everything about their pictures are simply beautiful. All from the lighting, to capturing the most candid moments; allowing us to re-live our special day all over again. They were so easy to work with and and we had an absolute blast shooting with them. Marie and her staff were very professional, from the very beginning i could tell that marie really enjoyed what she does and that her clients are #1 to her. My pictures came back right on time and all i could say was WOW! This was absolutley the best thing that i could have invested in during our entire wedding! She done a really great job dealing with my family and bridal party, when it came to getting everyone to do pictures. she was very creative when it came to posing and kept us all laughing. Marie done such a great job on editing our pictures and gave us exactly what we paid for! Marie came highly recommended by a client of mine. She did such an amazing job on both our engagement and wedding sessions. She has such a creative eye and took some amazing shots. We really enjoyed working with Dan and Marie. They were fun, professional, and good at managing our wedding party (probably like herding cats). My only wish is that we get our pictures even sooner! If they are anything like our engagement photos, they will be beautiful.
