GORGEOUS Hair and Makeup!

If I could give Carrie and her team 1000 stars, I would!

I first met Carrie and her team when she did the hair and makeup for my best friends wedding. Everyone looked AMAZING, so it was a no brainer that I was going to go with Carrie and her team when it came time for my own wedding!

I was an anxious bride and Carrie was so wonderful in helping keep me calm with our timeline! She and her team showed up early for hair and makeup to make sure that we stayed within the timeline, everyone was professional, and fun to spend the day with!

I'm not kidding when I say that people came up to me and told me how gorgeous everyone's hair and makeup looked, including mine! Everyone looked GORGEOUS!

My hair and makeup was EXACTLY what I wanted, my mom, now mother in law, sisters, and the rest of my bridal party were all so happy with our hair and makeup!

Thank you to Carrie and Team for making mine and all of my favorite ladies wedding dreams come true!

Accommodating & Beautiful

We used Appease for hair and makeup services at our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the results! Sandy was our hairstylist and she did wonderful on all of our different hairstyles. Visha was our makeup stylist and she was very accommodating to our requests. Overall, both our hair and makeup looked beautiful and I will definitely recommend this company to others!

Amazing work!!

Carrie from Appease, Inc. is an absolute gem! Her responsiveness leading up to the wedding was commendable, addressing all my questions promptly. Not only was she phenomenal on the wedding day, but the trial experience was also exceptional—she made me feel incredibly comfortable.

Carrie's flexibility and skill radiated through when I wanted to switch up my hairstyle on the wedding day. She effortlessly brought my vision to life, and her efficiency with everyone's hair was truly impressive. We all loved our hairstyles, and mine stayed flawless throughout the evening, even with hours on the dance floor.

Great Quality and Value

Carrie did my hair for my wedding day and it turned out perfectly! Even my photographer commented on how my hair stayed looking gorgeous all day/night. Carrie was great to work with from the start. At my trial she helped me decide between two hair styles based on my dress and wedding aesthetic. The prices are competitive and much more reasonable than some other vendors. Carrie also helped with the timeline/schedule for when people would be getting hair and make up.

One of my favorite vendors to work with!

Carrie with Appease is AMAZING! Right from the beginning she was very responsive and fun to work with. The "theme" of my wedding was glitter and she did not disappoint - she brought so many options for me to pick from. Me and my bridesmaids all looked AMAZING and I am still getting compliments on Carrie' work. I am in the wedding industry as well and will recommend Appease to all of my brides!

10/10 book with appease!

Appease customer service is fantastic! When Carrie got stuck all the way across the country due to a canceled flight the night before my wedding, she ensured that I had a hair artist and a make up artist for myself and my entire bridal party. We were extremely satisfied with the results of our hair by Susan and make up by Male! In my own research of other companies, I found Appease to be very affordable with discounts available depending on amount if services and early booking! Booking Appease for our wedding was one of the best things we did. Looking and feeling beautiful on one of the most special days of your life is priceless! Carrie is truly a master at her craft! She makes you fell so comfortable and treats you like family! My whole bridal party LOVED her and our makeup artist! We can't recommend this company enough, five stars does not do it justice!! Beautiful results

I worked with Carrie for hair (and bride’s makeup) and Tonya for makeup. Carrie and Tonya both showed up early (which is impressive with a 7 am start time), and we actually ran ahead of schedule! This Type A, highly anxious bride was SO HAPPY. Carrie and Tonya were both kind, professional, and so talented! Carrie did an especially wonderful job on updos and with my curly hair. Hair styles and makeup both lasted all day, which was amazing for a humid June day with outdoor photos prior to a 5 pm ceremony. Not a single woman had an eyelash come unglued or a bobby pin fall out. I felt like an absolute princess and was so happy to just relax and let Carrie and Tonya do their thing!

Excellent, highly recommend for Chicago brides!!

The Appease stylists did such a fantastic job with hair & makeup for my vow renewal ceremony. This vendor first caught my eye on Wedding Wire because they are reasonably priced, but also their gallery had a variety of hair/makeup styles so I knew they'd be able to customize looks for everyone in my party. The staff was prompt and professional with correspondence. As for the actual services the day of the ceremony, the hair and makeup was phenomenal! LaKel (hair) and Veronica (makeup) were punctual, personable, and really listened to what my family and I wanted for our individual styles. LaKel was able to seamlessly replicate a beautiful updo I found online; Veronica kept my makeup natural enough that I felt like myself but she also added a little of her own flair to spice up my look for the occasion. I highly recommend Appease for both hair and makeup services.

Loved our hair and makeup

My team for Appease (Kristy and Sandy) did such an amazing job for hair and makeup for my wedding day. I was definitely looking for more of a natural look so I could look myself on my wedding day and they were able to accomplish that. They were also very reasonably priced for Chicago. Hair and makeup trials went smoothly and they did hair and makeup for the bridal party as well as family and we all felt so beautiful and the pictures came out amazing. Thank you Appease! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Carrie is the best!

Carrie did an amazing job on my hair, as well as for the entire bridal party. I still get compliments to this day about how great the hair turned out. Carrie was so much fun to work with. We had the trial and I loved it, but changed my mind on the wedding day of how I wanted it to look. Carrie changed it up no problem, and it was better than I had ever dreamt of. She was great at giving advice for different hair types, and everyone looked beautiful that day.

Amazing service!

We used Appease for our bridal party makeup for our wedding and they were so great to work with! We worked with Carrie throughout the planning process, and she was so organized and responsive throughout and made everything super easy. Julia was our stylist for the day of and she was amazing. Everyone absolutely loved how their makeup turned out and she was so great about picking perfect colors for everyone in the bridal party! She was so friendly and fun the day of and was super prompt and actually ended up running early, which was very helpful for our busy day. I highly recommend Appease, and specifically Julia to work with for your wedding!

Highly recommend!!! Carrie and Evelyn did the hair and makeup for me and 6 bridesmaids, and it was such a great experience! The looks lasted all day (and all night), and not a hair out of place! We all received the airbrush makeup, which looked absolutely flawless. We ran just a few minutes behind schedule, so make sure to leave a little cushion in your timeline. Overall, it was such a pleasure to work with Appease and I'm recommending them to all my newly engaged friends!

Made us feel like royalty!

I can't recommend Appease enough. Carrie (owner/hair stylist) and Julia (makeup artist) are AMAZING. My bridesmaids, flower girl, mom/MIL and I truly felt like royalty. They took the time to listen to our ideas and combine it with their expertise. I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life - and I received countless compliments on my hair and makeup, even after hours of dancing. They were professional, kind, personable, and extremely efficient - they were ahead of schedule the entire time, even with 12 women to service!

Dependable, flexible, and artistic

Incredible.
Met these ladies a few years ago at my cousin’s wedding and they did an excellent job! I’ve grown up since then, thought I’d like the same make up but Carrie was kind enough to show me what was more appropriate. They are a busy bunch but that’s because they do a hell of a job. When they come on site they are strictly business— if someone doesn’t like their hair or changes their mind, this team adapts without a sound of a sigh of frustration. They are amazing!!!

Stop looking and book Appease inc now! You will not regret it! I was super nervous when it came to looking for a company to do my hair and makeup for my wedding because obviously this is the day you want to look your very best! Appease went above and beyond with my hair and makeup! Carrie was so easy to work with! She was always quick to reply to any questions I had via email. My stylists were Julia and Tammy! They were a great team together! They were at the country club on time and finished all my bridesmaids, my flower girl, mother of the bride, and my hair and makeup on time for my pre ceremony pictures! Appease is great

I hired Appease at the recommendation of my wedding planner and I'm glad I did. Carrie did a great job with hair and Iris did a great job on makeup for myself and all my bridesmaids! I thought that the prices for bridesmaids were reasonable compared to other vendors. They also have promotional discounts for booking early or off-peak weddings. Carrie was very professional in terms of setting everything up. She came up with a schedule for hair and makeup and was accommodating when I wanted to tweak it. I felt that they were both able to listen to recommendations as provided or figure out a good look for my bridesmaids who had no idea what direction to go in for hair or makeup. Carrie and Iris came to our hotel room to help us get ready. Our hair and makeup lasted all night. The only thing I'd do differently is that I probably wouldn't pay for a hair and makeup trial as it didn't seem necessary - the looks turned out great both at the trial and on the actual wedding date.

I loved working with Carrie! She was so easy going and comfortable and a pleasure to have help me get ready! She was also willing to work with my naturally very curly, thick hair (without straightening or trying to get rid of my curls) and my requests for a more natural make-up. The pricing was also affordable, and she came straight to my hotel room to help me get ready! They also offer a lot of other things, including massages and facials for the whole wedding party.

The Appease company, specifically Carrie, Male, and Tammy were an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only did my bridal trial and wedding day go perfectly, but all of my bridesmaids and mother’s of the bride and groom were overly joyed with their hair and makeup. Their hair AND makeup lasted all night, and so many of my bridesmaids wanted different things, and everyone delivered flawlessly. I hired Appease for my wedding day and was completely pleased with the services I received for both hair and makeup! Male (makeup) & Amanda (hair) are both extremely personable and talented artists! I had 9 bridesmaids all coming in with various ideas for hair and makeup, and both Male and Amanda exceeded their expectations. All my girls ended up loving their hair and makeup for the day. As the bride, I only used Appease for my makeup, as I used my own hairdresser of 12 year for my bridal updo, but Male is simply amazing. My makeup was stunning. At my makeup trial, Male gave me great suggestions of color palettes that best compliment my dark eyes and olive complexion. I received so many compliments on my makeup for my wedding day and it stayed on all night. As for my bridesmaids who got their hair done with Amanda, all of their styles looked amazing and stayed intact all night as well. She perfected every picture of styles that my girls brought in for what they had in mind for their hair for the day. She even helped a few girls who didn't know what they wanted come up with styles that best worked with their hair type, and the styles turned out beautifully. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with my services. Appease is very reasonably priced, and their stylists are all so talented and friendly. The artists all stayed on track with my time frame and adhered to my created hair and makeup timeline. Appease is worth every penny! Cannot say enough good things about them! Would recommend to every future bride for your big day!

Your search stops with Appease! Everyone ended up being stunning! Carrie did my bridal party's hair and Sunshine did the make up. My journey to find Appease was a frustrating one but well worth it when I (my mom) finally found them! Having gotten my hair/makeup done in salons previously gave me a price range of what I should pay, or at least my bridesmaids. I do not mind paying more as the bride, but did not want to overburden my BMs with that cost yet wanted a nice, professional, finished product. I also wanted to make sure that the artists aesthetic was in line with what I was looking for and that they would come to our location. Appease met all of those requirements! I really liked that regardless of the level of artist experience I went with (Celebrity), my BM's pricing did not fluctuate from the $65 for hair and $65 for make up, this I found to be more in line with what I paid when I've gone to salons for services. The pricing was so reasonable and them being in my bridal suite, my mom, aunts, and cousins signed up for services, which were completed after we all left for pictures. Carrie also did a wonderful job working with my day-of planner and getting us all out the door at the pre-determined time. Overall they really did an amazing job! (I wish I had better pictures to share)

I received a referral for Appease by my wedding planner who had brides that used them before. I am SO happy I went with this company for prior and day of services! I live in the city of Chicago, so the majority of my vendors were from the suburbs as they were much cheaper. Yes, we had to pay for their parking, but for the amount we saved, we were more than willing to do that! Appease was one of those vendors in the suburbs. Companies with on site services within the city of Chicago were astronomical, whereas Appease was very reasonable and still did an excellent job! I also really liked that they had their own salon, DRYtini. I was getting extensions and was very nervous about my natural hair matching them. Because of this, I scheduled an appointment at DRYtini the week before the wedding to have my hair balayaged to match the extensions as well as a cut. Their prices at the salon were HALF of what I would have paid in the city! After my experience at the salon, I was excited to have services done by Appease the day of the wedding, and they certainly didn't disappoint!

Appease was very accommodating in answering questions promptly via email as well as revising the schedule of services when I had people delete and add services. The stylists, Iris and Tammy, also were very professional yet personable at the same time! Both arrived with more than enough time to set up and chatted away with myself and bridesmaids the whole time. It was a great experience!

If you're looking for a "one stop shop," with a ton of different services to choose from at a reasonable price, definitely look at Appease!!

I chose Appease for my makeup + hair services, which worked perfectly for my venue in Galena, IL & the houses that we rented out! I worked with Elizabeth to coordinate artists; she is so responsive and easy to work with! I could not have been happier with selecting Appease for my makeup + hair services!

Tanya did our hair and she was so easy to work, listened to what you wanted, and made sure that you were completely happy with how your hair turned out. She was very patient, flexible, easy-going, kind, talented, + shared in our excitement for the day! I couldn't be happier with her being a part of my special day + she truly made an impact on our wedding day.

Pierre did our makeup and I could not say enough about Pierre. WOW. My girls and I absolutely LOVED him!!!!! He was professional from the get go and provided such great energy for the day!!!! He was an absolute pleasure to have during the morning of us getting ready for my wedding!! He was exceptional in doing our makeup - everyone looked STUNNING. He was also super efficient with his time without making the morning feel rushed and he gave 110% to everyone!!! I wish Pierre could do my makeup everyday!! He also keeps all of his products clean, which I appreciated. He genuinely cares about making you happy and making sure you feel beautiful. I ended up running late the morning of my wedding, because I decided to open my gift from my fiance and the gift opening process ended up taking WAY longer than I had expected, so I ended up missing my time slot for my makeup, but Pierre came through under the pressure! For our September 2017 wedding, I hired Appease to provide hair and make up services for myself and my bridesmaids/MOB/flower girls. I decided to go with them for multiple reasons-- their website was very informative and clear, pricing was affordable and reasonable, they were able to provide multiple stylists for our large bridal party, they offered an early booking promotion and most importably, they had beautiful examples of their work online. I worked mostly with Carrie during the planning process and she was organized and easy to get a hold of via email. Laura, Tammy and Roxy provided day of services and were AMAZING. They were very professional and friendly and all my ladies loved their looks. I especially was extremely happy with how Laura did my hair and make up... I was so happy with the services provided by Appease2You and my stylists, Roxy, Tanya, and Sandy. I had nine women total who received hair and makeup services in my small two-bedroom Chicago condo. The stylists adapted to the small space and had all brought extension cords, all their appliances, etc. They were all so flexible with the parking I had arranged and with the space. All of my stylists did an AMAZING job. Roxy and Sandy's makeup made everyone look and feel so glamorous. And the hair styles from both Tanya and Sandy were fantastic. Everyone had brought Pinterest photos, and everyone was pleased with how the ladies matched their Pinterest photos but made the look tailored and personal. A highlight was that Tanya actually did a bridesmaid's hair who had a pixie cut--she did a "faux undo" that was gorgeous and completely looked like a real updo.

I wanted to mention that working with Appease2You prior to the wedding day was also a pleasure. Elizabeth was my contact person for trial appointments and making the schedule. She was so flexible and helpful. A couple things that I requested and that she obliged for me quickly and graciously were:
-I requested a second hair trial with a new stylist, and she obliged (Tanya was my second stylist, who was PERFECT)
-I added on two women about a week before the event
-I requested a third stylist about two weeks before the event.
She got all of these things done for me and made me feel like I was normal in making these requests and not a bridezilla!

Overall I couldn't be happier that Appease2You was there for me before and on the wedding day. They made things run smoothly, they made me relaxed, and they made everyone in the group look and feel so beautiful. THANK YOU AGAIN!!

Appease was very easy to work with! I had a hair and make up trial for my mother and I which went well and the artists listened to what we wanted and what we wanted different day of. There was an issue with my make up artists and I had to be reassigned, Appease gave me a free trial with the new artist and she was great! They have great prices, the artists were on time and did a GREAT job on me, MOB, MOG and 5 bridesmaids! Would recommend!

Danielle took care of me and my bridal party for my June 2017 wedding. She was amazing. She went above and beyond for me, my sisters and my Mom. She came on time and stayed late to accommodate everyone. We took a bit longer than I had anticipated and she was patient and caring with everyone. Carrie and the stylists at Appease were absolute pleasures to work with. They had the difficult task of doing hair and makeup for 2 very large bridal parties and 2 brides (total of about 20 people). On our wedding day, everyone was very impressed with the quality and hold of both hair and makeup (brides included). During the planning process, we were even able to fit in a second trial to make us feel as comfortable as possible going into our big day. In addition to everyone being very happy with our looks, everyone's hair and makeup was finished totally on-time! The stylists we worked with arrived on-time and seamlessly got us through the day. We could not have been more pleased with the entire experience from start to finish!

I absolutely loved working with Appease, Inc.! I found them just by doing a quick Google search of bridal beauty services offered in Chicago. Their prices were the most reasonable and the reviews were positive, so I decided to go with them. I am so glad I did! Carrie and Sunshine were wonderful from start to finish. They listened to me and what I wanted during the trial and replicated the look I loved perfectly on my wedding day. They also did a great job bringing out my bridesmaids' and mother's favorite features, and I can honestly say that everyone loved the way they looked. Makeup was the last thing I booked. I had emailed Appease months before my wedding, but held off on proceeding because I was concerned by the lack of NYC reviews (most of the reviews are from Chicago). Well, two weeks before my wedding I reached out again after receiving a follow up email from them. I am SO happy I did. They were able to book my wedding to do make up for me and one of my bridesmaids, with TWO weeks notice. Their prices were more reasonable than the majority of makeup artists I found, and they come to you!! They managed to fit in a trial where Jennifer came to my apartment and spent time going through a couple looks. The day of, Jennifer showed up 15 minutes early to our hotel and was ready to go. She stayed right on schedule and was super friendly. I LOVED my makeup. Without going over the top, she gave me the smokey, dramatic eyes I was looking for, my airbrush makeup looked flawless and it lasted the ENTIRE night. I got so many compliments and was so pleased with how it turned out. My only regret is that I didn't book sooner to save myself some last minute stress! Highly recommend!

The Appease staff was amazing! I don't generally wear a lot of foundation so I wanted a natural look for my wedding that would still photograph well. Tad achieved this look perfectly and came up with a champagne eye that perfectly complemented the gold accents in my dress. Jennifer gave me the princess-y hairstyle I was looking for, and made my hair look gorgeous even after I completely changed the look from what I had done at the trial. All my bridesmaids liked Appease too and have asked for Appease's contact info for their weddings and other events. On top of it all, the price was right! I would absolutely recommend Appease!

Wedding beauty is such an essential part of the day and Appease, Inc. pulled it off flawlessly. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and knowing I may be one of those "picky" brides and Laura (hair) and Kim (makeup) both gave me exactly what I wanted. The trail went well with just a few little tweaks to be made and on the wedding day I looked exactly the way I wanted to!
I had 7 bridesmaids plus my mom and the two of them together not only got them all beautified but did it ahead of schedule! My hair stayed beautifully curled all night long (even though I refused to have crazy amounts of hairspray!) and my make up stayed flawless all night long (I was on the dance floor almost the entire time!)

I had a great experience with Appease. The company was super responsive and helpful during the planning stage. On the day of the wedding, Sunshine and Cristina both arrived right on time and brought a great attitude. They were fun to have around during the morning of the wedding. We stayed ahead of schedule for the entire morning. Also, they were great at listening to what each girl wanted for her hair and makeup, and everyone, even those who were skeptical, was happy with how it turned out. My own makeup was exactly what I wanted - striking, yet soft and pretty - and my hair was also exactly the loose updo that I wanted. When Cristina, the hairstylist, was already getting ready to leave, she took the time to help my mom and maid of honor make my veil stay under the updo like I decided I wanted. It was a tough request, but she did not hesitate to take the time and energy to make sure it looked good and to make sure it stayed. I would absolutely recommend Appease to other brides!

Sunshine and Carrie were absolutely fantastic for my wedding at County Line Orchard. They were fun, professional and very good at their jobs. I missed one of my trials with them and they were understanding and I rescheduled right away. They were on time and stuck to the schedule so that everyone was finished. I really like that they charge for the services prior to the wedding and include the gratuity because exchanging money can add to the stress the day of the wedding. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Getting married in the NYC area can be stressful and your hair and makeup are an integral part of your day. Everyone is staring at you all day long! I scheduled a trial with Appease after reading some reviews online. I was a little hesitant at first because there were tons of reviews in Chicago but not many in NY. NO FEAR though... Appease was professional and amazing!!

Mel (hair) and Jonothan (makeup) came to my house on the day of my trial. They are both very sweet and personable. I showed Mel a few pics of what I envisioned and she created it! I loved it. I also debated with two hairpieces and she contributed her opinion. Love me some honesty!

Jonothon is a doll! I told him that I wanted to look natural, but with a J. Lo glow (Hehe) and he made my face flawless! I took pictures after both treatments were done and I made sure to take notes of what I wanted to tweak. I sent my notes to Appease and they were acknowledged the day of the wedding. My hair and makeup also came out better than the day of the trial!!

I absolutely fell in love with the ladies of Appease! From my engagement party, trial and actual wedding weekend they made me feel comfortable and truly like friends in getting me ready. Laura was my stylist for all of my events was wonderful! She did my hair and makeup with exactly the feel I wanted and was so incredibly fast!!! That is why I decided to use the Appease team for all of my wedding needs. They were organized, timely with responses and provided me support and advice whenever I needed it..Carla and Carrie were personal yet professional every step of the way. I could not have had a better experience and they made my bridesmaids, mom, mom in law and sisters in laws look and feel beautiful. Laura went above and beyond and helped my wedding party with all of our last minute morning fix ups. Laura personally made me feel comfortable, confident and at ease as the bride and took such good care of my mom...as she is not used to getting dolled up. I really appreciated this. I had a traditional Indian wedding and she helped me with my dupatta/outfit setting last minute as I needed help with it...even though she didn't have to. Laura was awesome! She was the first person I saw the day of my wedding and she made me feel and look amazing. I've had professional makeup done before and had felt like I was wearing a mask. But with Laura, I felt that she was only enhancing my own natural beauty. I still looked and felt very much like myself. The makeup held up all day and night and never ran even in August humidity. My hair was done up beautifully! And it was sturdy enough to handle veil changes as well as a few people stepping on the veil and thus pulling on the hair. Not only that, but both my hair and makeup took only a little over an hour to do! Talk about efficiency! I had no worries about being late or running behind, which really helped lower some of my stress. I would highly recommend Laura and appease2you to any bride.

I contacted Appease four days before my wedding after my previously hired hair and make-up person showed an amount of unprofessionalism I could no longer take (i.e. charging us more than they said originally, changing our end time, etc.) Carla and Carrie came to the rescue and couldn't have been more phenomenal! They are an organized business and listened to what I wanted and made sure they could offer it before scheduling me and my bridal party.
On the day of the wedding, they were on time, listened to the bridal party and what they wanted, and were personable and easy to work with. All the girls looked awesome!
Also, even though one of the girls initially had said she only wanted hair done because she never liked any make-up services she had received before, after seeing the others with their make-up, she changed her mind; Carla agreed to do her make up too and did a great job (the bridesmaid said it was the first time she ever got her make-up professionally done and actually liked it). Before taking off they touched up a few things the girls asked for (ie re-do curl, bobby pin piece of hair, etc.), gave us a little powder and lipstick to touch up our make-up in case we felt we needed it, and put my veil on for me (I was nervous to mess up my hair). So nice!
Our photographers noticed how well they did and what great customer service they had and even asked us what the company name was so they could refer future brides to them. You can't go wrong with these two!

I danced all night and my hair and makeup were perfect at the end of the night, as if just made. Everybody from Appease were so helpful and accommodating. Thanks for helping me out on our wedding day

I had both a trial and day of hair and makeup services with airbrush makeup and eyelashes. I also had extensions used in my hair style. Although I didn't end up loving my trial hair and makeup, after sending Carrie more pictures and descriptions of what I wanted changed, I couldn't have been happier with my hair and makeup on my wedding day!! It was flawless! My makeup didn't move all day, and my hair stayed put, too. Removing the veil from my hair after the ceremony was as easy as Carrie said it would be. Carla and Carrie are great to work with!! They are flexible and excellent communicators. I appreciated that Carrie listened to me and helped keep me calm as she worked on my hair and makeup amidst the chaos of a typical wedding day.

I was really excited with how my hair and make up looked the day of the wedding even though I didn't go for a trial. I contacted them pretty last minute and they were still able to accommodate me and all of my bridesmaids and other family members. (Hair and make up for 11 girls and they did it within 6 hours.) I even got a discount which was great and I definitely think I couldn't have gotten a better service for my wedding.

I just got married this past weekend, and I was soooooo pleased with my makeup and hair, I'm beyond words. Almost every one of our guests commented on my makeup and how pristine and perfect it looked and my hair was exactly what I asked for (thanks to Elvire). Carrie and her staff were so responsive and always got back to me, answering my questions within a day or two. My wedding was a South Asian wedding with 3 days worth of wedding events (On average, there were 2 events per day). Appease did my mom and my hair for almost all of the events, and they did my bridesmaids hair for the wedding ceremony. All of us were very happy with Appease. From the moment I contacted Appease about doing my wedding, they were friendly, prompt, and professional. They always responded to my calls/emails within 24 hours and they arrived early for all of the events. (Considering I asked them to be there at 4am, its pretty impressive that they arrived early). My bridesmaids loved Carrie and Laura! Three of my bridesmaids have hair that goes down to their hips. Normally, it takes them an hour to get their hair done and their hair styles only last a few hours. Appease did their hair, and all of the other bridesmaids' hair, within a 1/2 an hour, and all of the bridesmaids' hair lasted the entire day. Carrie did my mom and my hair. We LOVED her! She was efficient, great to chat with, and I felt like she had memorized every hair style on Google. Some of my bridesmaids and myself didn't have pictures of the hairstyles they wanted, but all we had to do is give a brief explanation and Carrie knew exactly what we were talking about. Carrie was also very patient. My mom and I were late a few times b/c the wedding events ran longer than expected, and Carrie never got upset. She was always a delight. Needless to say, my bridesmaids, my mom, and I had a great experience with Appease, and I strongly recommend them!

Carla did my hair and make-up and it was amazing! My pictures were beautiful and the airbrush make-up lasted all night.

One suggestion but the matching lipstick for touch ups. It really helped to make my end of night pictures look like my beginning of the day pictures. Best $20 I ever spent!

OMG I couldn't be happier with them. I bought the blushing bride package and hair & makeup for 6. They gave me a wonderful massage, mani / pedi, hair & makeup and I must say I felt like a princess lol. They all are so professional and so nice. My mom and bridesmaids all looked so beautiful, I'm very happy with their work. They sent a team of 6 and they all did an amazing job. I was very impress with my makeup artist Sunshine and my hair stylist Carrie. I will recommend them to my family and friends.

Carla and Carrie were amazing! I had a huge wedding party and I'm also kind of a make-up snob, but Carrie and Carla did an absolutely gorgeous job on every single person. Everyone's make-up was perfect, the hair was outstanding and it lasted all day long, and even with 12 people receiving services, we were ready ahead of schedule! They made me feel beautiful, they made my bridesmaids look fabulous, and they were total professionals in every interaction.

Appease, Inc. is also extremely reasonably priced and they come to you! I have no reservations whatsoever recommending them to anyone for their wedding!

Carrie (hair) and Sunshine (makeup) from Appease were wonderful!

Carrie was super nice. When my half up updo fell flat the day of my trial, Carrie did an updo trial at no additional cost -- and I loved it!

Sunshine was excellent as well. I loved the airbrush makeup -- she made me feel and look like a celeb!

I would recommend both of them to any girl looking for a hair/makeup team that comes to their house.

My make-up artist, Maria, for my wedding day was fantastic. She was so professional and fun to work with. She listened to what I like and wanted and helped me to look my most beautiful. She did a fantastic job and I have never felt so pretty. She was worth every penny and more, I had to tip her extra for how great she made me look and feel. She even whet out of her way to help my dad who had fallen and had a black eye. Great person, great company!

Working with Appease has been great - from the moment I contacted them. They were quick to respond, matched competitor's pricing, and were very thorough with following up while I was planning my wedding remotely. I didn't get a chance to do a test run, but it was not anything to worry about - their pictures speak for themselves. Appease made getting ready for my wedding reception fun and easy. I waited until the last minute to book, but Carla was quick to respond and provide the information I needed via email. Carla was our main hair and makeup provider, and brought an assistant and a nail tech to speed things up for the 6 of us. At the trial, Carla was able to take a few random pictures I had sent her and create exactly what I wanted (which wasn't in any of the pictures). I love that the trial took place in my home...made a very stressful time that much less stressful, and my fiance was able to give his opinion (not that he had much of one). Everyone else was also very happy with their hair, makeup, and nails, and it allowed me to give a small "thank you" to my sisters, mothers, and grandmas for all their help without the added annoyance of getting everyone to another location (Appease came to the hotel we were all staying at).

My wedding was this past week on June 1st, and I'm so thankful I chose appease to do our hair and makeup. They did me and my three bridesmaids. I had a trial about a month earlier. at the trial, Carla did an awesome job of capturing exactly what I wanted even though I probably didn't have enough hair for the hairstyle. On my wedding day, two stylists came. They were on time and got all of us done without rushing. My bridesmaids looked gorgeous, especially my sister. Her hair was like a piece of art. Amazing! Not only are they great, but the convenience of having someone come to me was worth every penny. And really, when you think about it, they do not charge much for the incredible service they provide. I was completely satisfied with the service I got.

These ladies were great! My trial hair and makeup was in my own home, which is very convenient. Then, on my big day, I changed my hair and makeup plan a bit from our trial run (a girl's got a right to change her mind, right?) and the ladies were flexible and more than willing to adapt. My hair and makeup were perfect AND they stayed that way well into the night. After hours of pictures and then dancing my tush off, I still looked polished and pretty. Thank you!

I had Laura and an assistant come do my hair for my wedding, along with 6 bridemaids and one flower girl and my mother. She came first to my house and did my trial and i loved it, a few days after my trial i decided i really wanted my hair all the way up and she had no problem with coming out for a second trial so we could get it just right. The day if the wedding they showed up right on time and got straight to work. I loved the airbrush make up and it stayed on all night! Even more impressive was how well all of our updo's lasted the whole night, for a good 12 hours! I never had one touch up to do and my hair looked absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone for their wedding day or any other event, she did a fabulous job and we couldn't have been more pleased.
