The perfect addition to your ceremony

When my second daughter was planning her wedding I knew I would be having these amazing musicians to play. They are an amazing talent and worked with us for the perfect selections. Highly recommend!!

Flawless and Beautiful Wedding Music

The quartet played during the wedding ceremony and then during the cocktail hour before the reception. The wedding music made the ceremony angelic and the reception guests listened in awe as the quartet played in our conservatory. I can't think of a better way to orchestrate a wedding or set a classical tone to a reception. Thanks to the entire quartet for making our celebration perfect!

The Surprise of a Lifetime!

I really wanted strings at our wedding last year, but my wife shot the idea down as it “wasn’t in the budget”. Little did I know she had booked Appassionata already. I was so stunned and their music was amazing. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I called rather last minute to request prelude music for my son's outdoor wedding and the result was absolutely beautiful!!

I cannot rave enough about the music that was provided for our wedding guests before my son's wedding last Saturday! It not only provided enjoyment for all the guests listening, but it raised our wedding to another level! I did not have to search endlessly for the right music as the talented violinist new exactly what to play! Many guests commented how wonderful it was to have a violinist as talented as Joy!

Elegant, Classical Music for a Formal Wedding Ceremony

Joy Deminski and her fellow musicians added a beautiful touch to our wedding. They played classical and modern pieces. We chose a four-piece group and the sound was magical. I would highly recommend this ensemble for a wedding or other special occasion.

Amazing! Great experience!

We hired Appassionata for our ceremony and they were amazing! It was beautiful to have as guests arrived and they did an amazing job with the song selection we requested for the processional and recessional! They were such a pleasure to work with and so accommodating! We had requested a song that wasn’t in their repertoire and they were more than happy to add it and play it! I even rearranged song selections last minute and they were so nice and it was no problem! We would definitely work with them again and would 100% recommend them!

Absolutely Beautiful!

The Appassionata String Quartet played for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The music made our intimate ceremony better than anything we could have imagined! They helped us to navigate through changing dates due to COVID and were very responsive to emails!

Appassionata played for my son's wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Joy D. was a delight to work with. Always prompt with responses to my inquiries and the music was great. I was uncertain about hiring a quartet through the internet but Appassionata met all my expectations and laid to rest any concerns. Price was very reasonable and well worth it. Highly recommend this group for their professionalism and friendliness.

Joy and her team are so incredibly talented, Joy was a pleasure to work with from the moment we booked her up until the big day. She was very responsive to all of our emails and worked hard to find music sheets for songs that we found on own and wanted played at our wedding. The music the was beautiful and provided such a special touch to our ceremony and cocktail hour. We had so many compliments from all of our friends and family about how beautiful the music was that Joy and her team put out.

We loved working with Appassionata String Quartet and using them to provide ceremony and cocktail music for our wedding. Joy and her team were responsive, accommodating, and excellent musicians. It was such a pleasure working with Joy to book our ceremony music. She was very kind and easy to communicate with through email. All of her information was very detailed regarding their services and music choices. She even went out of her way to send us some examples of different songs to make sure we picked the sound which would be the best fit for us. Joy was wonderful to work with! I had a specific song I wanted for the ceremony and she was able to accommodate my date, and the music was perfect. I would highly suggest using Appassionata String Quartet if you are looking for professional service and beautiful music.

We absolutely loved having Appassionata String trio at our wedding! The trio played while our guests arrived and during our ceremony. We live out of the state so all of my communication was completed through email with Joy. They showed up to our rural location on time and played beautifully during the ceremony!

Appassionata provided the music for my son Sean and his wife Tracy's ceremony and it was beautiful! The next month at my 60th birthday party my boyfriend proposed - a total surprise to me…..and everyone else as he told no one…isn't he wonderful! Fast forward to planning OUR wedding and I knew that I wanted Appassionata to play at our wedding ceremony. Joy was so helpful planning the music selections. When I heard the music playing as I was walking closer to the ceremony (my daughter was by my side, as my matron of honor, before my brother took her place) it made me cry happy tears. Our theme was the "Best Day Ever" and with Appassionata string trio playing beautiful music for our ceremony it really WAS the Best Day Ever!!!

Appassionata provided a String Trio for my pre-ceremony and ceremony music. They were absolutely wonderful! I was a bride that planned everything just to make sure that nothing went wrong, but on my wedding day, we had a MAJOR set back in the bridal suite which caused a significant delay in the start of the ceremony. Instead of leaving at the time I booked them for, they stayed and played until everything was over. The intro music for me to walk down the aisle was so exceptionally beautiful that I couldn't stop crying. They are just amazing! I really appreciate that they stayed the entire time instead of leaving! They added the extra elements to make my wedding incredible!

If you are need music for your wedding or next event, please, look no further! They are true professionals and will give you everything you ask for and more!!!

A a duo play at our ceremony. They were perfect! Best of all is that they came and set up and did not SEEK US OUT for our final payment. I had my dad bring them the check and it was fine. Beautiful music, and highly recommend.

Appassionata String Quartet was such a great addition to our wedding. From the moment guests arrived to be seated at our wedding, you could hear beautiful music which really set the tone (an elegant one I might add) for our wedding. Working with Joy from Appassionata was a breeze. They have a WIDE selection of music to chose from. We did our best in making choices and then sent them to Joy. Being much more intimately familiar with the music selections, Joy ably guided us to better suited song selections. Sure enough, when I would compare her song selection with ours, she was always right. Also, Appassionata's pricing is incredibly reasonable. I reached out to several companies before settling on Appassionata (who was recommended to us by our vendor as they had recently performed at a wedding for a groom who himself was a professional classical musician), but went with Appassionata because they were very reasonable, responsive and had already come highly recommended. You will not be disappointed if you chose Appassionata Quartet!

I cannot say enough good things about Appassionata playing at our wedding. It was really easy to work with Joy to set up what music we would like them to play for the different portions of the ceremony. She sent us a list of common choices, but was willing to learn new music upon request. We chose the string trio and they sounded absolutely amazing!! They arrived promptly and were very professional. They were even willing to stay extra as the ceremony ran a little late. We thought their price was very reasonable for the quality of their performance. We would highly recommend them!

Appassionata was a great vendor to work with. When I first called Appassionata's number, I spoke to Joy, who was my contact throughout the planning process. She was extremely friendly and helpful at all points along the way. She helped us decide how many strings we wanted/needed for our ceremony and gave us a very reasonable price (I called many others and her price was the most affordable) for a string trio. They have a large repertoire and Joy sent us plenty of music to choose from. She contacted us the day before our wedding when the weathermen were calling for 100 degree weather and were flexible, despite the impending heat, regarding where they would be placed for our outdoor ceremony. Our guests very much enjoyed Appassionata's music before and during our ceremony. Appassionata was a wonderful vendor and we would recommend them to any bride looking for beautiful ceremony music!

We won an auction for a hour and decided to book them an additional hour for our wedding. They played for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I had no problems with emailing Joy and getting our play list to them. They sounded beautiful. I recommend a live string quartet to anyone that is getting married. It just added something so special.

The Appassionata String Quartet was recommended to me by my husband (as I had little idea of good musicians to play for our wedding). Although we only had the duet, I could not have been happier!!! They did a magnificent job, from start to finish! Joy guided me in my selection of ceremony music, and professionally offered her expertise as to what would sound best in our particular wedding venue. Furthermore, considering that I had an incredibly small wedding party (just a matron-of-honor) she recommended that only one song be played during the processional. This worked out fabulously (utilizing more songs would have taken away from the fluidity of the processional).

My hope was to have a sophisticated, elegant wedding�and the Appassionata String Duet helped to fulfill my dream!

This group was very professional and flexible throughout the entire planning process as well as the day of the wedding. They helped me decide on music based on my own taste and are familiar with many classical songs. When I changed one of the songs closer to the date it was absolutely no problem for them. The process was very easy and it was one thing I didn't need to worry about at all. They were on time and ready with time to spare on the day of the wedding. I absolutely loved walking in hearing the string music and I received many, many compliments on how great they sounded. I know that several guests at my wedding have asked for their information to book for their own weddings or to suggest to a friend. I would recommend this group to anyone who wants beautiful music played at their wedding!

Joy was so very kind on the phone and in her emails. The quartet was professional and even played a special request for me to walk down the aisle. We have a lot of highly trained musicians in my family and they were impressed by Appassionata's arrangements. We requested more modern music during our cocktail hour and they did an excellent job playing it!

Appassionata musicians played ceremony music for our garden wedding. Neither my fiance or I knew what to have played for our ceremony; Appassionata was happy to suggest a list of music for our consideration. They were very professional and pleasant to work with throughout the planning process. The music was a lovely touch to the ceremony. Our guests commented on how beautiful the music was as well. I would highly recommend to others for a wedding our special event.

The Appassionata String Quartet was a fabulous choice for my wedding - I am a composer, and having my own music performed at the ceremony was an absolute must! Appassionata met with me a few weeks before the wedding to read through my pieces, and their sight-reading was just as good as if they'd been practicing the pieces ahead of time. I was so impressed, as were the guests at the wedding. They just added such a special touch of class to the ceremony that I had been hoping for. The only thing that went wrong was that one of the violinists got lost on the way to the ceremony, but the other three string players played just fine without her until she arrived before the processional was to begin. Once they were all playing together, I truly had goosebumps walking down the aisle!

Their price was very reasonable, too. I believe musicians deserve to be paid, and paid well, at that. Kudos, Appassionata!

We had many positive comments about our ceremony music, provided by Appassionata String Quartet. Joy sent a long list of music that they had in their repitoire from which we made selections. It was really lovely. They played from the choir loft of our church on a July afternoon - it was HOT up there but despite the conditions, they did a great job. I would have no concerns about recommending them!

The list of songs was very helpful; additionally, it may be helpful to include with the list samples of what other brides have done in terms of order etc.

After seeing and hearing this quartet at a friends wedding, I thought they were great and booked them for my own wedding. Booking them was the easy part...it was everything after booking that felt like pulling teeth. I emailed a list of songs that I would like played, asking if they were songs they knew and could do. A month and a half go by and I heard nothing. Eventually, she did get back to me.

Our ceremony was to start at 3:30. In our contract, the quartet agreed to be at the church at 3 and start playing by 3:15 when my guests were arriving. Well, 3:20 rolls around and they have not arrived. Thankfully, we had a good friend who jumped on the piano and played some prelude music. We decided then that we would start at 3:40 in hopes the quartet would arrive. At 3:25, I see the quartet come in. They started playing around 3:30. When they did play, it was beautiful. I was happy to walk down the aisle to strings.

I received an email a few days after the wedding asking to fill out a survey. I told her I didnt think she would like me to fill out a survey, as I was not pleased overall. I asked her why they were 25 minutes late. Instead of being apologetic, she became defensive and wrote back saying that their GPS made them turn left instead of right at the very end of the route, setting them back "a few minutes" and that "they do their best to be professional, but they are only human". There is a HUGE difference between a few minutes and 25 minutes. To blame it on a GPS is unexceptable. They should have left with plenty of time to make it there. Perhaps next time they will look over the directions before the day of the wedding to make sure they know where theyre going. She then said that they actually stayed past the time we agreed on, as if it was a favor or something. The reason we ended up going a few minutes over the contracted time was because of the quartet being late. I dont think she understood that.

Obviously, this turned out being very stressful for us. They ended up just being added stress to the day. The fact that they didnt even call to say they were lost or would be late left us hanging, not knowing what was going to happen. When they played, they did a wonderful job. But the fact that they were very late is something to be considered.
