We were lucky to find a photographer in Liv Rhodes, owner of Apollo Fotografie, who captured the weekend exactly as we envisioned. Her style of photography makes every shot feel like a classic, and her demeanor behind the camera made us feel at ease, confident, and able to let ourselves have fun with it.
Our photos from both our engagement shoot and the wedding are incredible and worth every penny. We've had so many people compliment the photos and how Liv and team operated at the wedding.
We also had an unusual vision for our wedding video. We wanted a Wes Anderson inspired version and Ross from Apollo Fotografie DELIVERED. -

We absolutely recommend Apollo Fotografie. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish, from our very first call with Liv through our wedding day.
Our main photographer, Jess, also photographed our engagement shoot, which gave us the chance to understand her style and build a relationship ahead of the wedding. This made the wedding day feel easy and natural. She made us feel incredibly comfortable, encouraged us to try new poses, and we fully trusted her with both our couples photos and family photos.
We had a wonderful time working with Jess and Mikie on our wedding day. They really listened to what mattered most to us, including our photography preferences and emphasis on candid moments, while also bringing thoughtful professional recommendations that made us feel confident throughout the process.
Jess absolutely crushed it. She was incredibly organized, struck the perfect balance between calm and guidance, and worked wonderfully with our families. Mikie was also fantastic and worked especially well with the groomsmen, keeping things moving and everyone on track.

Apollo did a fantastic job capturing our wedding in November in San Francisco. Andra and Melaina were with us every step of the way, capturing a full range of memories from posed portraits to candids with our guests to details of the venue. Our ceremony was indoors at night in low light, and Andra and Melaina worked with the lighting to create beautiful, dramatic pictures that we can’t wait to hang in our home. Apollo has tons of experience photographing weddings, and they have a very helpful structured process to follow in advance of the wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly. As a couple, we aren’t super comfortable in front of a camera, but Andra and Melaina were helpful coaches and cheerleaders which made us much more at ease during the shoots. They also did a great job of planning for our venue and using their own artistic perspective to put us in locations that turned into amazing photos. If you’re looking for a great Bay Area wedding photographer, Apollo is an awesome choice! -

We highly recommend Apollo Fotografie if you're looking for a Bay Area wedding photographer and videographer! In fact, we chose Apollo because we were so in love with the wedding photos they took for another couple at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. From our very first inquiry to our big day, Liv was thorough, detail-oriented, and always made us feel taken care of. The email follow-ups and timeline reminders were impeccable!
Our wedding photos and video are stunning!!! It's such a wonderful way to relive the memories. We're so grateful for Carrie and Jas (our wedding photographers) and Terrence (videographer) for capturing our special day. Everyone showed up on time and was professional. Carrie was very thoughtful in capturing the exact angles I had shared with her in my vision document, and Jas did a phenomenal job on our tea ceremony and getting-ready photos. Terrence captured an incredible drone shot of the Palace of Fine Arts, which was shared in the beginning of our wedding video. We love all the candid shots from our ceremony, reception and dance floor!

When planning for our June wedding in Mendocino, we knew we had to get the perfect photographer, someone who could really capture the beauty of the coast and all of the vibrant colors that come along with it. After viewing tons of portfolios, Apollo's work really stood out from the rest. We loved everything we saw, from their ability to capture motion, their framing, to their vivid presentation of colors. We immediately hopped on a call with Liv, and she was super clear and up front about the whole process, which was very helpful for a couple like us who have never hired a professional photographer before.
Many months before the wedding, we worked with Andra for our engagement shoot and it couldn't have gone better! Both my fiance and I are not used to being in front of the camera, so we were definitely anxious about the whole ordeal, but Andra assuaged our fears instantly. She led us around Buena Vista park and picked out the best locations with the most magical lighting like a hawk. After feeling how comfortable we were with Andra taking our photos and seeing how beautiful they came out, we were both so much more confident and excited about our wedding to come.
For our wedding weekend, Andra came up to Mendocino and captured both our Chinese tea ceremony/wedding games and the wedding itself. Andra was super punctual and always at the right place at the right time. She was always where the action was, even getting a photo of my fiance catching a random bird that flew into the house! On the day of the wedding itself, Andra and her team made both the bridal party and groom's party feel comfortable, and took some of the most breathtaking shots of us on the coast. After the ceremony, she was able to get everything we wanted: candid shots of pure happiness, photos with various permutations of family and friends, and moments on the dance floor after dinner, where Andra's photos serve as a more accurate record of events than our own memories.
Earlier than expected, we got an email with some teasers and we were amazed! We showed them to our friends and family and they were equally blown away with how they turned out. It definitely left us super excited for the full album!
Overall working with Andra and the team was fantastic. Great communication, no logistical overhead, fun and compassionate team, and beautiful memories captured perfectly. Apollo really has the best wedding photographers in the Bay Area, and we are so glad we were able to have them come up to Mendocino to take our photos. The moments Andra and the team captured for us will live with us forever. Every time we see them, we can't help but to smile! -

Truly Wonderful Photo/Video Team!!!
If you are looking for an engagement and wedding photography / videography team, Apollo Fotografie is the one for you. Truly the best wedding photographer in San Francisco and in the overall Bay Area!! From our engagement shoots to our actual wedding day, the team was nothing short of amazing. When we were searching for a photo / video team, we wanted a team that was incredibly knowledgeable about cultural, Indian Hindu weddings - we looked at various portfolios, and Apollo’s portfolio stood out to us the most! We first contacted the team in August, and every single one of our communications with Liv was professional, fun, honest, engaging, and comfortable. It was like speaking with a close friend - Liv made us both feel incredibly comfortable and excited for our big day! I had to apologize to her several times for bugging her with so many questions - but she always responded quickly and transparently!! It was truly a blessing, as other vendors we were interviewing for photography were not as communicative! From then on, we knew Apollo was the team for us.
Leading up to the wedding, we worked very closely with Andra. Andra is so wonderful, easy-going, and fun. Speaking with Andra on our numerous calls to discuss our vision was like speaking with a close friend as well. Our wedding calls the week of were incredibly helpful - Andra was incredibly detailed in making sure she understood which shots we wanted, going over timelines and visions with us, and ensuring that we can relax while they take care of everything and make everyone and everything look beautiful.
On our wedding day, the entire team was ON TIME (I say this in caps as being on time on a tight deadline is truly important), incredibly friendly, and made us both feel very very very comfortable in our own skin. Andra, Josh, and Alexa were truly truly fantastic, professional, knew all the right angles, and were able to adjust on the fly (which is what you need in in a photo video team). The entire team had incredible vision and had such an eye for detail, knew how to pose to make it look less awkward, were cracking jokes to keep us at ease (one funny moment was when my wife and I were doing our first look, our priest and one of my close friends walked by, and they suggested doing a first look with them as well :) ) but also captured such natural, loving, fun moments of us and our family.
Further, literally 2 days after our wedding, Andra sent us the most amazing sneak peeks we have ever seen. My wife and I were absolutely shocked at how beautiful the pictures came out - everyone looked so natural and loving. Further, the artistic vision as I mentioned above was clearly present in these pictures!!! Overall, I highly highly recommend Apollo Fotografie for your photo and video needs!! I promise you, you will not be disappointed. -

We had a wonderful experience with Apollo Fotografie for our wedding photography and videography. The photos we received are absolutely beautiful, and although the videos are not yet available, I have no doubt they will be just as amazing. We chose Apollo Fotographie because they are one of the few in the industry that offer a combined photography and videography package with extensive experience in City Hall weddings.
I was especially impressed by our photographer, AJ, and videographer, Jordan. They made an incredible team and did an outstanding job capturing the stunning interiors of the Rotunda and the Grand Staircase at San Francisco City Hall. Despite the venue being quite crowded on our wedding day, they managed to beautifully frame me, my husband, and the lovely Christmas tree in the background. Our guests also had a fantastic time joining in on the photos inside and outside City Hall, thanks to AJ and Jordan’s great suggestions and guidance.
A special shout-out to Liv, who was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, addressing all our inquiries before and after the wedding.

Choosing a photographer was one of the most nerve-wracking things for my wife and I during the planning process. We're awkward in front of the camera, don't know how to pose but also didn't know how to find the right fit. Then by chance we stumbled upon Apollo Fotografie and knew that we'd find the right place. Their entire team was extremely communicative and prompt. Liv and Jas helped boost our confidence, made us feel at ease, and produced images we instantly fell in love with. Even though we were at a new venue, they came early to scope out the place. We were also dealing with extreme heat, but Liv and Jas made sure to not let that get in the way of our special day. They adjusted and adapted, found shady spots for us and our bridal party, helped with our trains, and captured all the emotion and love on our special day. We got so many compliments from friends and family about how much they loved our photographers. We can't recommend them enough! -

We worked with Liv as our lead photographer for our week-long Indian wedding this past May, and she was hands down the BEST wedding photographer in San Francisco Bay Area! We are so happy we picked Apollo after interviewing several vendors. Liv knows how to make a couple feel comfortable in front of a camera, even a couple like us (we had no idea what to do with our faces or hands!) She provided great direction, cracked jokes to make us feel more comfortable, and waited patiently with me (the bride) while I was getting the finishing touches of my hair and makeup done. She worked very well with our videographer, planner, and other vendors, especially when we made very last minute timeline changes. You could tell this was definitely not her first rodeo. She also handled our Indian aunties and uncles who wanted nonstop photos with the appropriate amount of firmness and guidance. Assistant photographers Jaz and Mikey were so friendly and helpful throughout the week at various events! The photos that we're walking away with from our wedding are absolutely MAGICAL and we're getting compliments from all of our friends on how well the photos have been taken and edited. Apollo is by FAR the best wedding photographer in San Francisco!! The owner, Liv, is extremely professional and responds quickly to emails. She has everything organized which makes being your own wedding planner much simpler than I ever imagined. Our head photographer was AJ who was somehow able to bring the energy and the peace that I needed the day-of the wedding, and our 2nd photographer was Jas who brought all of the visions I had for detail photos to life. Our wedding photos were overall absolutely stunning and I am so very happy with my experience with Apollo. My husband and I came across Apollo Fotografie online and we immediately loved their photojournalism style and their pictures, videos were stunning. Upon meeting Liv, we were so excited to work together—she is so wonderful, efficient, fast, and helpful, we felt at ease immediately and in good hands with her artistic vision and immense experience! Liv took our engagement photos at Lands End in SF, and they were absolutely stunning. She caught the golden hour and has wonderful experience with the best spots around to take pictures, posing us (two people who didn’t know what to do or how to take photos together in a non-awkward way), but she somehow made us look greater than we could’ve ever imagined!
We had Liv and Shane for photo and Jordan for video, for our wedding and reception at Garre winery in Livermore and they were simply incredible! They all captured moments that we didn’t even know they captured, when we saw the pictures (super fast and only 2 weeks after the day!) we were stunned and so thankful we had them on board to capture our special day. The life, action, and moments they captured were amazing and we truly couldn’t have asked for better photos. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with a photo team either—Apollo is immensely professional, experienced for all kinds of weddings (especially cultural weddings, ours was an Indian Hindu wedding), they have incredible vision and art, are very talented working with people to pose them, thoughtful, efficient/fast, thorough, and organized. All the wedding calls before the day were very efficient, helpful for us to plan the day, and they raised incredible questions that improved our wedding day plan and made it even more memorable. Even when we were running late the day of, they were all incredible adaptive and helped ease us, and still take the most incredible portraits and all the photos we hoped for.
Apollo is truly the best wedding photographers in San Francisco. They really took time to know us and work with our needs, in a very passionate and enthusiastic way. All of our family and friends were stunned with their work and their interactions with them the day of, and we were so lucky and happy with the whole experience and value they added to our special day! Apollo Fotografie was an iconic and absolutely incredible wedding photographer and videographer!!! When we were selecting our photographer, it was important to us to have a photographer that would both understand our multicultural backgrounds (I’m Chinese-American and my husband is Indian-American) including large families with diverse needs (and a lot of combinations of family portraits for the extended family) and simultaneously be able to capture our essence of taking organic and unposed photos of us in action - we loved that Apollo Fotografie was able to seamlessly do both!! We worked with Apollo for our Friday night event (an Indian wedding event called a Sangeet) and our Saturday ceremony and reception.
We primarily worked with Liv as our lead photographer, who is Apollo’s director of operations and client relations - she was amazing and super easy to work with; she was very communicative in the lead up to the wedding and very organized (which helped a lot because any one who has planned a wedding knows how many logistics are involved). On our wedding day, when we were running behind schedule, she was very flexible and didn’t stress me out at all, but instead was a grounding force and was able to keep me calm, adapting the schedule to make sure we still were able to get all the photos we wanted (e.g. we had run out of time for family portraits of me and my parents and brother after I got ready in the morning and she remembered to carve out time for them later in the afternoon). Liv also made me feel very natural during our first look, which is such an intimate moment, and throughout the ceremony, which was super special and memorable and I’m so grateful to have it documented so well. Finally, it was pouring rain and very cold for most of our wedding day, and Liv was really creative with locations for photos and ways to work around the rain or work with the moodiness of the weather to still get really beautiful, cherished photos that we are so excited to keep looking back at for the rest of our lives!
Numerous of my best friends have complimented how our photos turned out and the moments Liv was able to capture - the editing is natural and sleek and the framing both classy and creative. My friends (many of whom are also married and have planned their own weddings) have said that our wedding photos are the best they’ve every seen!!! Liv and Apollo is the best wedding photographer in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area (we got married in Napa at a resort with our Friday event at a winery in St. Helena).
We also loved that Alexa, our videographer, captured so many moments that felt very authentic to us and showed us the experience through our guests’ eyes (rather than having us awkwardly pose and taking precious time away from our wedding weekend) - the highlight videos she made used our vows as audio and it felt so special and so unique (it’s hard to not shed a tear whenever we rewatch the video!) I would highly recommend working with Apollo - you will leave with beautiful photos and a smile on your face!!!! -

Hands down, Apollo Fotographie is the best wedding photographer in San Francisco!!!
After my initial call with Liv, I knew I wanted to book Apollo and most of all, I knew I wanted to work with Liv!
Liv took our engagement photos and our photos on our wedding day. Liv is cool but in a way that is approachable and magnetic- I was drawn to her no nonsense sensibility- she’s good at what she does and she doesn’t sugar coat anything- she gets sh*t done.

Apollo was hands down the best photographers we could have asked for. We did our engagement shoot with Liv, Andra shot a pre-wedding party, and Liv and Shane joined us for 2 days of wedding ceremonies and receptions. We felt so unbelievably comfortable at every shoot... a huge accomplishment for us 2 awkward models! Liv told us their style was photojournalism so we shouldn't expect to be interrupted a lot during our events, and boy was that true! As we were reviewing the photos, we kept saying "Did you even realize they were there?" The shots were everything we hoped they'd be: artistic captures of the moment. Apollo Fotografie is hands down the best photography company I have worked with! Andra absolutely captured the joy and magic of our wedding day. Beyond the stunning photos she took, she was a pleasure to work with. She was so kind, compassionate, funny, and had the best energy. She calmed our nerves and hyped us up all day. When we were looking for a wedding photographer, I checked out our options on Instagram and instantly knew that Apollo was who we wanted to go with. Their posts are consistently breathtaking. I am confident any Apollo photographer would have been magical, but we were beyond obsessed with Andra. Additionally, working with Apollo leading up to and after the wedding was great. The Best Wedding Photographer in San Francisco!!
My husband and I are from the east coast and made the daring decision to fly across the county and elope in San Francisco. Once we picked the destination, our number one task was to find a photographer who would capture one of the most important days in our lives together. It felt daunting at first, not knowing from personal referrals who the main contenders should be. But with help from other reviews online, we found Apollo Fotografie.
From the moment we happened upon their website, we knew we had found a special team. When we first spoke to Liv, we felt heard in what we wanted our vision to be. Liv listened and understood and was genuinely excited to help us curate the style. Liv paired us with a fabulous photo/video team. We truly loved working with Mikie (photo) and Jordan (video) the day of our wedding. They both made us feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the lens. The prompts they gave us were a great mix of serious and fun and the diversity in that really highlighted special moments of love.
At the end of the day, our closest family who made the journey even mentioned how professional and non-invasive Mikie and Jordan were throughout the event. The pair seemed to “blend into the woodwork”, so to speak. Our families have been to some weddings where the photo/video blocked everything; with our they almost forgot Mikie and Jordan were there during the ceremony! That being said, they still captured every small detail and brilliant moment.
We recently received our photos back and when we reviewed them our jaws hit the floor. Mikie was able to capture such wonderful memories and it truly felt like we were being transported back in time. She knew all the right angles and spots in City Hall. Her skill is unmatched and provided us with breathtaking memories. We can’t wait to see Jordan’s film work when our video comes in. We know it will be stunning as Apollo Fotografie holds their professional teams to such high standards. Apollo Fotografie was a joy to work with from beginning to end and they truly are the best wedding photographer in San Francisco.

Incredibly Grateful
We are so grateful we chose Apollo Fotografie for our wedding photos (and much more!). From the first meeting to the day of our wedding, Apollo made the process smooth with timelines and reminders. Liv was ALWAYS available to answer my million questions and we appreciated her help so much in coordinating our photography, videography, photobooth, and engagement/dog shoot.
We were assigned Kate as our lead photographer, and we could not rave about her enough. We first met Kate in Dolores Park to have a photoshoot with our pup, who is not always the calmest or easiest to work with. She was, to put it simply, delightful. My partner and I are not naturals in front of the camera, and she made us feel so at ease with her humor and kindness. We had a blast and captured some of my favorite photos I have ever taken both with my partner and our dog. The shoot set the tone perfectly for the wedding.
Kate then photographed both 2 hours of our welcome event as well as a full 12 hours of our wedding day. She was so kind and encouraging the entire time, and we are blown away by the pictures we received. We feel beyond grateful that it was really the best day of our lives, and that we have so much of the joy captured thanks to Kate.
Our videography also turned out spectacularly. Mario did such a beautiful job and I have sobbed whenever I have watched the film. We initially were not set on video, and I am so glad we decided to go with both photo and video. Mario captured our vows and moments that a still picture cannot show - we are so happy to have all of those memories on film.
In full, we had a team of 4, and they communicated seamlessly with each other and truly took the stress out of our day. And Liv was the glue that made it all possible. We cannot express enough thanks that we have these memories captured so beautifully. -

Can we do a 10 star review? If we could, we would!! Liv was our lead photographer and there honestly aren't enough words in the english language to do this review justice! The second we met Liv, we knew this was going to be an amazing fit. Every step of the way, from our engagement shoot, to our venue walk-through, and our wedding day, she and the entire Apollo team have been a DREAM to work with! The entire group was fun and easy to be around (which is VERY important on wedding day). We really only interacted with Liv from the jump and she helped us with multiple pre-wedding photoshoots, our videography package questions, getting us set up with a photo-booth (which was a huge hit during our reception), and SO much more! She was always professional and super quick to respond to our many (seriously....so many) questions and always did so with kindness and understanding. And then, to top it all off, all of our pre-wedding, and wedding photos are GORGEOUS!!!! Completely blew our expectations out of the water and we are so so so so happy we chose Liv and the Apollo team. Honestly could not be happier!! -

My husband and I are so, so grateful to have found Apollo for our wedding photography needs. My husband initially booked them for our proposal (and did so last minute, when another photographer ghosted him) and they were super communicative and flexible leading up to the proposal and the day of. We decided after that to use Apollo and the same photographer (Terilyn) for our engagement photo session and wedding as well, which made us really comfortable with them and made communication and coordination simple. Terilyn is INCREDIBLE - she is fun, bubbly, comes with great ideas and produces gorgeous work. She was open to all of my ideas and brought some of her own as well. Communicating with Liv in operations was great as well, everything was super organized and clear and I was really grateful for the resources and timelines they provided. On the day of our wedding, Terilyn and our second shooter, Larry, helped keep us on schedule and everything ran so smoothly + they worked really well with our videographer (who was not from Apollo). Our photos are all SO beautiful and cherished and we couldn't be happier. You won't regret hiring Apollo - they are genuinely the best wedding photographers in San Francisco and the Bay Area (and beyond - they came out to Winters for our wedding!) -

My husband and I eloped from Texas to San Francisco for our civil ceremony last March and I was initially very nervous about picking photography service in a strange city. Fortunately, I was so blessed to have found Apollo Fotografie. Liv and Andra (owner/manager) were very prompt and informative in all of our conversations prior to our big day. We were thoroughly informed of what to expect and they even suggested what we could do while visiting San Francisco :) We were assigned AJ and Thanh for photographer/videographer and you bet: they were professional yet sweet and extremely friendly. Apollo Fotographie photographed our June 2022 wedding and they are the BEST wedding photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Liv and her team are an absolute pleasure to work with and they shot AMAZING photos of our wedding day, which included our getting ready, first look, couple, family and bridal party photos, ceremony and reception.
First - the business side: Liv was very responsive and informative in all of our communications throughout the planning stages, and getting a contract set up with Apollo Fotographie was seamless. We also decided we wanted a Photo Booth (which was super fun and I highly recommend) at the very last minute and she set that up right away.
Second - the photographers & the photos: we worked with Eliza and Brittani, who are two incredibly skilled photographers and also wonderful people. We could totally be ourselves around them - they were full of warmth, their focus was on us, and when we saw our album, we realized there were many times we did not know they were there snapping photos! As a result, we have some really heart tugging candid photos - like ones of us smiling at each other while bouncing down our ceremony stairs right after saying ‘I do’ and walking into our reception, and others twirling during our first dance - we had absolutely no idea that they were anywhere near us! Eliza and Brittani had fun being creative with our couples portraits and we got some incredible unique shots as well. Everyone was at ease (bridal party, families and guests) with Eliza and Brittani - no small feat as a lot of people do not like their picture being taken. The quality of the photos is incredible. Eliza and Brittani captured our love for each other and our joy as well as the joy of our family and friends truly resonates through each and every photograph.
Third - timing: our full album was delivered less than a month after our wedding!! Truly exceptional.
The only problem you will face is that you will get HUNDREDS of amazing photos and it will be almost impossible to decide which ones are your favorite to print! -

When the world shut down due to COVID-19, we were initially terrified we'd lose every cent we paid toward our many wedding vendors.
With our original wedding postponed a year, Apollo Fotografie stepped up to the challenge of managing the date change. They not only transferred our original package without penalty, but also provided us the chance to hire them for our intimate elopement on the original date with just parents and witnesses present.
Our photographer Abbie, was a dream! She knew exactly how to capture key moments while not being distracting during the ceremony... I forgot she was there! Then when it came to our couple's portraits, she provided the direction my husband and I needed to feel natural in front of the camera. Her energy was contagious and she was able to take beautiful shots, mask and all!
We are so grateful to the Apollo Team, but especially for Jonathon and Abbie, but also Eliza, and Ross who we are excited to meet next year at the postponed wedding celebration. This company values its clients and is very ethical with its business practices. I can't recommend them more! They are worth the investment as photo/video will be the most tangible memory from that special day. -

Planning our wedding, we knew that photography and videography were hugely important to us in capturing and preserving the moments of our day forever. Jonathon and their Apollo Fotografie team did this, and more- checking boxes beyond what I even thought we needed. From our first contact, I felt Jonathon's diligence and passion, and these qualities persisted throughout our experience working with the whole team all the way from the initial phone chats to the wedding day itself. Not to mention, the aesthetic of the photos from Apollo resonated with us- beautiful and captivating.
Terilyn was the incredible photographer for both our engagement shoot and our day of. When we met her at our engagement shoot, she brimmed with an energy and sense of humor that propelled us through, thoroughly loving taking pictures that my husband initially dreaded (he hates "posed" photos!). She was always creative in getting us to truly smile and laugh, and this really shone through in the gorgeous photos- we displayed one as a large canvas at our wedding reception. Same thing the day of- she and Sean were with me and my bridal party all morning prior to the wedding, and we had such a lovely time with them in such an intimate setting. She did an exceptional job for it all, and we are lucky to have had her, Sean, Angela, and Stephanie as part of our day. They were all so sweet and talented, and I must mention, braved the freezing winds of Treasure Island during our family and bridal party photos with nothing but smiles and cheer. Our bridal party and our families loved working with them too- they felt like an extended part of our family for the day.
Our wedding day was amazing, and we've been feeling so much nostalgia for the day. Apollo has made it all the more amazing, bringing us back to that day with the most heartfelt photos and videos of us, our family, and our friends. For that we are so grateful to have gotten to work with the best wedding photographer in San Francisco. Apollo Fotografie made our wedding photography and videography a completely stress-free experience during the extremely stressful task of wedding planning! We researched tons of vendors for each aspect of wedding planning EXCEPT for photography/videography ... as soon as we saw Apollo Fotografie's website and sample of work, we were amazed by their style and aesthetic and knew that we had to book them for our wedding! I really appreciated having all payments, documents, and questionnaires sent through Honeybook, which helped keep everything neat and organized. We absolutely loved working with Abbie and Wayne on the day of our wedding. They were completely professional and kept everything easy and seamless while also being really fun to work with! When we received our proofs and later our online album and then photo album, we were amazed by the quality and have received nothing but compliments about the photography. They definitely exceeded our expectations, and we'll treasure the photos and our album for decades to come. For anyone getting married in the Bay Area, look no further than Apollo Fotografie to capture your special day! This San Francisco Wedding Photographer is incredibly professional, talented, and incredibly passionate about weddings and the details of your big day. Photography and videography are one of the most important decisions you’ll make - it is what will cement your memories forever! Therefore, it was the first vendor I sought and researched. Let me save you all some time - I was a completely obsessive/detailed bride, so I created a massive, complicated matrix of photographers and videographers all over the bay area comparing prices, packages, reviews, and interviewed the entire gamut. As soon as I spoke with Jonathan, I knew he was the one. The prices for the quality and care of what you get are reasonable, and he and the team are incredibly responsive and organized with all of the details leading up to your wedding day (so so important, with so many things going on!) We utilized Apollo for our engagement photos, wedding day photos and videography, and photo booth. Our engagement pictures were absolutely stunning, so we knew we hit the jackpot. Day of, we had the pleasure of working with Jonathan, Nicola, Sean and Ross. Their energy and spirit and ability to capture those very special moments are unmatched. We had a bridal party of 19, and they were able to rally the crowd in a professional yet enthusiastic way. Everything felt natural and fun! Most importantly, the end result was just the most amazing beautiful work I have ever seen. The moments, the angles, the quality…it allowed us to relive our special day all over again. Our video was truly like a love story music video, and our photo booth had killer props and a great background and print outs. OVERALL SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION Overall, the quality of service was above and beyond anything we expected. We discovered Apollo Fotografie with the help of the universe! We absolutely loved the style of the photos we saw across the different portfolios. We met with Jonathon via video chat for our initial meeting, and truly loved his energy and passion. We booked the team shortly thereafter and were so excited. From the first email outreach Jonathon was extremely organized and utilized several modern applications/web services to obtain our preferences, schedule and make payments, and to communicate important information. Jonathon was timely and thorough in his responses, often returning our emails within a day. One thing we really loved was their flexibility throughout the day. While we tried to stick pretty close to our schedule, the family photo session ran a little long, but both Jonathon and Terilyn were troopers! Jonathon was so sweet and professional. Our guests loved both him and Terilyn. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT! We have to give a special shout out to Terilyn though; after our ceremony Tasha and I ended up staying at the church longer than we had booked our limo, so we sent our wedding party to the reception in our ride and planned to make other arrangements. After our post ceremony photos at the church, Terilyn so graciously offered to drive us in her car to the reception space, and of course we accepted! I got shot gun and Tasha piled her and the dress in the backseat and off we went! SO SWEET! A wedding day can be hectic, so you have to be ready to roll with the punches, and have vendors like Jonathon and Terilyn that are ready and willing to do the same. IN A NUTSHELL

There are so many San Francisco wedding photographers out there that trying to pick one proved really difficult at first. Eventually we decided to get in contact with Apollo Fotografie because of all the raving reviews we found online. Since they seemed like such a popular company, however, we figured we might end up feeling a bit expendable as clients. After all, tons of other couples wanted to work with them too. But we were very wrong! Our main contact with the company, Jonathon, made us feel like all of his energy was being poured into getting to know us as a couple and making our day exactly what we wanted. He was extremely quick to respond to our questions, and answered everything very thoroughly so that I never needed to follow up for clarification. He was also extremely proactive about contacting us to make sure everything was in order and he knew exactly what we wanted. Communication and payment were both extremely easy.
The photographers that were assigned to us were equally fantastic and exceeded all our expectations. Brooke was the primary photographer for both our engagement session and wedding, and Nicola was the secondary photographer at the wedding. Even though my husband and I both feel extremely awkward in front of a camera, Brooke was incredible at giving us direction and making both the engagement session and wedding photos so much fun! We felt completely comfortable with her. In fact, we have said many times that it felt more like we had a friend following us around on our wedding day than another vendor. Which was wonderful considering how much time you spend with the photographer on your wedding day! And the images she took are absolutely gorgeous! She really took the time to get to know us as a couple, which is very evident in our photos. None of them look staged or forced. They capture the true spirit of our relationship! -
