Wedding photos are not just pictures you’ll hang on your wall. Wedding photos are an investment. Something your children, grandchildren, family members, friends, and future generations will look at. Choosing a photographer can seem like a daunting task, but when it comes to Anthony you should have zero second thoughts. He is thoughtful, funny, creative, kind, and talented to say the least. He will make you and your tribe feel so comfortable when capturing your special moments. When we ran into the ocean on our wedding day not only was he at the ready with his camera but he also took off his shoes and waded into the waves with us without hesitation. If you are looking for someone who is not only going to capture moments, but will also capture the magic, Anthony is your guy. We will forever be grateful for his presence on our wedding day and the memories he froze in time for us. -

Michael Sent on 03/25/2025He Put Us Ease Which Made Our Pictures Turn Our Great!
Anthony was an absolute joy to work with! When we shot or engagement pictures he was so down to earth and chill you couldn't help but just relax and enjoy the day, the session, and location. He was able to capture the real emotion of my then fiance and I, and our sweet dogs that day.
The day of the wedding was no different! Anthony got some of the most BEAUTIFUL shots of our special day and every time we look at our wedding album, we get to vividly relive that special day, and ALL the special moments. All of our family and friends who were unable to join us all remark on how awesome the photos came out! That is all due to Anthony putting al the subjects at ease and his eye for capturing the perfect and meaningful moments! -

Amazing photographer
Loved having Anthony photograph our wedding! When we booked we got a complimentary engagement shoot and it was amazing! His communication is very professional and even though we know him personally he kept our wedding day just as professional. He listened to our wants and needs and went above and beyond for us. We even got a second photographer the day of the wedding to make sure everything we wanted was captured! -

Anthony is the complete picture- not only is he an incredibly talented photographer, he is also an incredible person and so much fun to work with! We hired him due to his artsy style and his ability to capture candid moments, and he absolutely delivered! We had some stressful moments on our wedding day and were running behind schedule at one point, and Anthony not only reassured me that we were doing fine, but he managed to help me let go of the stress and just enjoy the moments. He went above and beyond his duties as a photographer to help with anything he could, and had a blast doing it. He was having so much fun with us at the reception that we had several people comment that they thought he was a family friend! I have had multiple people from my family comment on how amazing he was to work with throughout the day. And finally, we got our wedding photos back and I am absolutely blown away! He completely captured the essence of our day in a mixture of stunningly beautiful and amazingly hilarious photos that we will cherish for many years to come. If you are considering hiring Anthony, do not give it a second thought, do it! You will not be disappointed! -

We truly cannot recommend Anthony more highly! We are so grateful for all that he did to make us feel so special and comfortable during our wedding day. Our wedding pictures perfectly capture the happiness and joy we felt on our big day and we are so grateful for Anthony’s ability to capture these moments that we will cherish forever.
Anthony is also kind, considerate, funny, helpful, and easy going. He had so many great ideas while also allowing us to choose where and what type of pictures we wanted.
Anthony was a dream photographer and we are so glad we found him! Stop what you’re doing now and hire Anthony! You will not regret it!!! We can’t wait to have him take our pictures again!! -

Hire him!!!!
Anthony was amazing! He not only captured the wedding itself beautifully, but also the natural beauty of the venue and landscape. Every shot is gorgeous. He was also extremely easy to work with and super fun to hang out with! (He’s pretty cute too for those single bridesmaids) -

Anthony was the perfect fit for our special day! He made it easy and comfortable to have people with cameras following us around and took absolutely GORGEOUS photos! He had fun ways to get us to laugh and enjoy the process rather than getting awkward with posing. One friend advised me to pick a photographer I thought I would be comfortable spending the whole day with, and Anthony is it! He not only captured the day but added to it. We also had a long day and Anthony was flexible with being there for the moments we wanted captured even though it meant a long day for him! Thank you Anthony!! -

Great experience!
Anthony is an amazing photographer! Not only are his photos incredible, but he worked with us to make sure our day went smoothly. Anthony secured my veil when no one knew how, pinned my mom’s dress, and helped my bridal party talk me down when things got stressful. At the reception, he danced with us to Mr Brightside, chatted with my family, and made sure we got all the photos we wanted. He definitely helped make our wedding as beautiful as it was! -

As a first time maid of honor for my best friend's wedding, I was running around this wedding Sunday afternoon like a chicken with my head cut off. Chaos was running wild and there was a lot of questions to be answered. Then, Anthony and his team showed up. I could say a thousand word review, but I'll leave it short and sweet. Anthony not only took fantastic, beautiful, intimate photos, which is what we wanted him there to do. BUT in addition to that, he secured the bride's veil when no one else knew how, he found safety pins when my dress started to fall apart, and unlimited number of other things that certainly didn't fall in his contract. If you want someone who cares about your day as much as you, and brings genuine joy to your crowd, Anthony & team are your people! -

Book Anthony!
Anthony did amazing work at our wedding this past August! He is very easygoing and has a great vibe- just what you want on your wedding day. The photos he gave us are beautiful and ethereal, and even though it was drizzling out all day, we got countless gorgeous photos. The only challenge is that it will be very hard to choose which of the 1000+ photos to pick for our album!!! We highly recommend Anthony! -

Absolutely wonderful!
The short version: Anthony was WONDERFUL to work with.
The long version: Anthony showed up at the venue ready to GO. He jumped right into snapping photos, and did great navigating 10+ people getting ready in a small space. He did a wonderful job capturing candids all throughout the day, as well as taking the many many many many posed/group photos that we had on our list. Working with Anthony was SO much fun, and he tools his Ice like a champ. Anthony rose to the TikTok challenge and kept up with us wanting to take a photo with EVERY table during dinner (in under 3 minutes I might add). He was very flexible around us sneaking away to do some night time photos, and he was overall prepared for everything we threw his way. Once we got the photos back, we were absolutely blown away by how wonderful they are! Anthony captured every part of our big day and we would gladly work with him again for future photography needs. -

Anthony did our wedding 12-7-19, he was very professional and accommodating! He arrived early, was easy to talk to, has an eye for creative photography and bringing it to life. I did not want a first look and our ceremony was later in the evening, he did not pressure me to reconsider (as some others I spoke to did when I was looking) instead he eased my concerns (it being dark outside), and assured me he would still get great photos, and that he did. He sent me sneak peaks a few days after, even did one for a requested "thank you card" pic. And he was very timely for getting all our photos edited and sent my way! Could not be happier with our decision! Thank you Anthony for all you did to help make our wedding day so special! -

Above and Beyond
Anthony went above and beyond to capture our wedding day! We spoke with Anthony a few weeks about our day and he immediately started brainstorming ideas. He did the work that two or three photographers would do. He even got into a kayak with his camera to photograph us onshore! Anthony is truly passionate about his work and we could not have asked for a better person to capture our wedding day. -

I have never written a bad review in my life. However, this experience I have been dealing with over the last month is something I don't want anyone else to go through the disappointment that I have faced or feel the way I'm feeling. My wedding was in October 2024 and we booked Anthony Riso Photography, who was recommended to me by a friend and he also had gone to my college so I knew of him. We got some of our family photos back before Christmas and after looking through them, I was extremely upset. I attached the screenshot where he states, "I didn't realize the sun was going to overpower quite that much" and he agreed to try to make them less bright. A few weeks later, we received the entire gallery and the photos that he was supposed to fix looked exactly the same. At this point, I asked him for a partial refund and the raw images in hopes that I could find someone that would be able to help fix the photos (although they are most likely too sunny to be fixed). He then stated that these photos are his style and that he already gave me a discount (which was because we didn’t have our engagement photos done with him). He also did not include many different poses that we did with all of our bridesmaids and groomsmen together, leaving the group photo I attached really the only ones and you cannot see half the people. He has not been willing to work with me on a compromise and stated that I have pictures with everyone because we took table photos on the dancefloor (which are completely different groups then family photos). He also made unprofessional comments like "a lesson learned to truly know my client before booking." He has now blocked me, without any sort of resolution. This was such a big event and a special day that I wanted to be able to look back on with these photos. Unfortunately, I just look at these pictures and cry because these memories can’t be recreated.
