I can't imagine a better experience!

Chris absolutely MADE our wedding. He was responsive, professional, and had everyone dancing all night long. I can't imagine our wedding without him. Thank you for making our wedding so amazing!!

Definitely Recommend!

Chris did an amazing job DJing our wedding!! My husband actually knew him because Chris was his duck tour guide when he first moved to Boston. He loved his duck tour and he wanted Chris to be our DJ. I had no objections! Chris is just the nicest and kept the party going the whole time. We loved all the music he played. He absolutely got our vibe. He even edited our first dance song so it would not run so long! He was flexible when our schedule got off track. He talked about the timing with our videographer and made everything run smoothly. We so appreciated having him there.We could not recommend him more!

Unbeatable

It's difficult to know what you're getting yourself into when you're planning your wedding from out-of-state and over zoom. Man oh man did Chris exceed our expectations. Over the course of many emails and several zoom sessions, Chris helped us create a blueprint for the music that would orchestrate our wedding day. We had several very specific requests, including some odd-ball ones such as having members of our wedding party literally play our first-dance live. He flawlessly morphed himself around this vision and made the moment seem effortless. We were impressed by how Chris took our must-play music list, honored it, listened and responded to the vibe of the crowd, and utilized his talents to take the evening to another level. And you literally cannot beat his price. 10/10 would recommend

Awesome Experience

Chris has the ability to provide such a great positive atmosphere with his personality and playlists that he was not only the DJ for my own wedding but also for 3 other family members. He is pleasure to work with, being very responsive, accommodating and pays great attention to detail. I would definitely recommend to a friend/family.

Omg, seriously, look no further

Oh my goodness! Chris is an amazing DJ! I wanted to wait for the pictures to come out before writing a review, but they're taking too long, so here we are. Right from the start he gave off such friendly and fun vibes! He answers emails so quickly, he's super flexible and offers help whenever you need it. For the processional and recessional music, we could tell he carefully combed through the songs before the wedding to cut out unwanted bits and cut songs off at the perfect times. Everything went SO SMOOTH because of him, from start to finish. He kept the guests entertained, hosted the shoe game for us (and it was a hit!), and played exactly the music we hoped he would! He really seemed to take the time to create a perfect music set based on who we are. I'm not the type to dance, but he made it impossible not to, right down to the last dance everything was amazing. THANK YOU Chris!!

Amazing Experience with Chris at Anthem DJ

We booked Chris from Anthem DJ for our August 21st, 2021 Wedding. We had seen some great reviews, it was within our budget so we went for it and boy did it pay off! I could not recommend this DJ more! Chris was personable, easy to work with, organized, quick to respond and a lot of fun! He made the whole process easy and stress free from the planning stages through the actual end of the wedding. He created an amazing vibe through cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. He was able to capture the feel of us and our guests music taste and provided an incredible environment through music and excitement for our special day. He got the crowd amped up, kept the dance floor packed all night and made a lasting impression on us and our guests. Thank you Anthem DJ!

Chris is awesome!

We first heard Chris at a friends wedding, so knew he was good. We were very excited to work with him ourselves, and he was very responsive throughout the planning process. He was extremely accommodating to all of our special requests and a blast to work with. 10/10 recommend Chris for your wedding!

Best DJ ever!!!!

Chris at DJ Anthem Entertainment is absolutely amazing!! He had ALL of our guests dancing and made the entire night one to remember! He is super fun and had everyone laughing and smiling through the entire evening!!!! Friends and family are STILL telling us what a great DJ we had!!! Chris Crushed It!

We loved Chris! He brought the perfect combination of professionalism and personality. Way too often a DJ makes the night more about them than the couple and their guests. This was not the case with Chris. Chris took the time to take calls with us to hear our ideas and reassure us we were ahead of most couples in our planning (even though we were behind). He made planning the music for our wedding stress free and even asked us what we wanted him to wear. He made sure his attire, playlist, and talk track flowed with the wedding. Chris executed all of our ideas from playing our wedding party's wedding songs to ending the night with Sweet Caroline. He kept the energy up and even surprised my now wife with a clip of her favorite DJ mix. My wife and I could not get off the dance floor! I would recommend Chris to any couple looking for an incredibly talented DJ who will keep your guests dancing until the end of the night. We left feeling like we made a new friend. Thanks Chris!

Oh Chris!! Our favorite buddy Chris! I have known Chris for many many years now, so when I got engaged OBVIOUSLY he was the first person I thought of to DJ our wedding. Chris is full of so much life and always knows how to have a good time. He is responsive and will answer all of your questions. A few months before out wedding we sat down with Chris and went over the days timeline. He has a great set up so that you can fill in all of your information, all of the "do's and dont's" making the whole process seamless.

Fast forward to our wedding in May, and boy did he deliver! Everything turned out perfect and our dance floor was filled all night long. Chris even brought he own set of fun lights to make the night even better. I highly recommend Chris for all of your DJ'ing needs!

Best DJ ever!

Chris is absolutely amazing and so talented. We gave him a jumbled list of songs/artists we wanted to hear at our wedding and he blended everything together seamlessly. He also played to the mood of the crowd, which is so important for a DJ to be capable of. Chris is amazing and we felt so at ease knowing he was the MC/DJ of our special day. Thanks Chris!

2020 Wedding

We hired Chris / Anthem Entertainment for our wedding well over 6 months in advance. Neither of us knowing what the 2020 year was going to bring. Chris was flexible, supportive, and went above and beyond to fit our wedding plans that changed several times. He showed up early, was engaged the whole event, and was one of the last ones to leave. He was cooperative with wearing a mask and sanitizing the microphone anytime it was used for a speech. I would highly recommend Chris and his services for any wedding! Thank you Chris!

Awesome DJ

The music at our wedding was great! We met with Chris and went over all our song choices. He was very flexible and accommodating to some last minute additions. On our wedding day everything was great! My husband and I had a great time on the dance floor. Chris played a great selection of music and included everything we wanted to hear!

Brunch wedding

We can’t speak highly enough of Chris! He helped make our wedding the BEST day of our life! A month or so before the wedding we met with Chris in person to talk about the details. We had specific vibes we wanted for different sections of the day (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) but we didn’t want to get too specific with selecting acrual songs. Chris hit the nail on the head with every single song and completely captured the feeling we wanted. He was super charismatic and engaging but in a natural way that doesn’t feel forced. We were very nervous going into the day that people wouldn’t dance because it was daytime, but Chris kept the party going and all of our guests had a great time! We can’t recommend him enough.

Nothing but positives

Chris was very well attuned to the room, made smart choices about what to play when, and was EXTREMELY responsive to our efforts to micromanage the playlist. ;-)

We supplied an extensive playlist of songs for the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception dancing. He was able to use that guide to deliver a cohesive, pleasing setlist throughout the evening. We also coordinated several specific dances—for the wedding party, for the mothers, etc.—that he helped to manage and announce.

Finally, Chris collaborated extremely well with our other vendors, helping to set up the speeches with our day-of coordinator, setting up audio for the ceremony, and even accommodating a bit of surprise live music (my wife secretly arranged for a string trio to perform during the ceremony).

We heard nothing but positive things from all our guests during and after the event. I would definitely recommend his services to any other soon-to-be-weds.

Chris was a wonderful DJ. He was great throughout the whole wedding process. He was quick to respond to any and all questions we had, and was very helpful. A Magical Evening

Chris from Anthem Entertainment played a major role in the success of our wedding day. Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives and for us the music plays such a critical part in that. We gave Chris lots of song suggestions and he did a great job working them in and supplementing with other great songs that fit right in. He completely mic'd up our ceremony which was such a huge help since we had a family member officiating for his first time. He is very professional and will make your wedding flow effortlessly with his MCing. His experience truly shows and he can be trusted to make it an unforgettable fun time. Fantastic experience

Chris was a fantastic help with the wedding, from the planning stages to the actual wedding. He took careful notes of all of our requests and was super communicative via e-mail and during the day of. Oh my word, where to even begin? It is no exaggeration when I say Chris is the greatest DJ. Chris was the DJ for our wedding this past weekend. He was AMAZING. We met with him a month before to discuss logistics and timeline, and he sent us a follow up email with more specific questions. Our venue had three locations that he had to set up for( ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) and he was prepared to set up in all three areas. Chris did a great job with blending our music selections with other songs that complimented our musical styles. During the reception he was incredibly professional, checked in with us repeatedly to see if we needed anything, and to make sure we were having fun. I highly recommend Chris,
and would recommend him to any of my friends if they needed a dj. He did a great job reading the crowd and keeping the party going straight through until the very end. Thank you for helping to make our night magical and special!

Chris is an awesome DJ and made our party a party! From the get-go he was professional, quick to respond and very accommodating. My husband and Chris share a love of Rush and it did not go un-noticed when Chris played a continuation of a Rush song that kicked off our cocktail hour when the wedding was closing down. He knows all the questions to ask, how to communicate with your other vendors and is just a super nice and down to earth guy. I'd hire him again in a heart beat. THANK YOU CHRIS!

My husband and I booked Chris for our wedding and couldn't have been happier about it. We had a hard time nailing down what we did want for our wedding because a majority of our wedding guests were over 40, with about a half dozen children as attendees. We didn't want to put people to sleep, but we did want something classy. Chris nailed it! Our guests were entertained the whole night, whether they were dancing, enjoying cocktail hour, or sitting by the fire pit, he had them covered. It was also amazing how he coordinated all the changes in events between our other vendors. He really stepped up with the absence of a wedding coordinator at the venue. We had a sky lantern send-off before the final dance that required some thought and organization. We couldn't be happier with our choice to hire Chris as our wedding DJ.

Chris Maccagnano was our DJ. He was excellent! The Dance Floor was full, even before it officially opened. Chris was fun and had some great ideas for us. He was very easy to get in touch with, and easy to get along with. Everyone we have spoken to since our wedding says it was a blast. I would definitely recommend him for any event.

Chris was a great guy to work with. He met with us early on so we were on the same page of what we wanted out of our night, which was all dancing!! My husband and I used Anthem Entertainment for our 10/29/16 wedding and we were SO happy we did. Chris was incredibly responsive from the beginning, we never had to wait to hear back from him as we did with other vendors. He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Our reception would not have been the same without him. He got our guests up and cheering, dancing and having an awesome time. He added a lot of personal touches and was even able to make last minute adjustments when we wanted to change the length of a dance after the reception had even started. We would 100% recommend Chris and Anthem Entertainment to our friends, family and anyone else who is looking for a DJ.

Chris was a fantastic DJ!! Doug and I were fortunate enough to be able to experience his talent and skills at a wedding prior to our own. He was extremely great to work with as we had no concerns about that portion of our wedding. Having great music and a great DJ is one of the most important parts of a wedding to make sure people have a great time, as it will be one of the things they remember most. Working with Chris to make sure we had what we wanted for music and flow of the wedding was super easy and stress free which we greatly appreciated! On our wedding day he provided equipment for sound at the ceremony as well as music and lighting for the dance floor which he kept packed all night long with people dancing like crazy! I continue to hear from the guests that attended at how amazing he was! If your looking for a DJ to make a positive impact on your wedding day and to ensure you will have awesome long lasting memories then Chris is definitely your guy!

I'm still feeling lucky that we found Chris! He was a breeze to work with, played every song on our list (even stayed a little late to make sure he could do that.) and he kept the dance floor full the entire night. He was super quick to respond in the time leading up to the event, we had a good in person meeting where he went over all of the music we would need and gave us plenty of time to figure out the specifics before letting him know. He was GREAT about my request of no line dances, but was also open to requests from the guests to ensure everyone had a great time. From the music while dinner was served to the very last song, the dance floor wasn't empty at all. Our guests are still telling me how much fun they had, and Chris did an amazing job getting everyone on their feet and moving, by playing a good variety of music and having a fun personality throughout the night. I am so glad we went with this company and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a DJ.

Chris was awesome from the beginning until the end of the process. We learned about him while he was our Duck Tour conducktor and we loved his personality. Then we found out that he was a DJ so we looked up his reviews and they were of course incredible. After reaching out to him, we knew it was a perfect match for us. He was fast to respond (even when he was on vacation), he was knowledgeable and professional, was laid back in his approach and that just helped relax us. After our meeting to go over what we were looking for in our wedding, Chris organized everything and put together our vision. On the day of the wedding, he sought me out to assure me he was there and that he would communicate with us about all of our planned festivities like garter/bouquet toss, father/daughter and mother/son dance etc. There was a time where my wife was looking for me with the garter toss coming up so Chris told her to keep having fun and he would go get me. There were so many moments that he went above and beyond that I could go on and on all day. DJ Chris was extremely professional, helpful, flexible and fun! From our first meeting with him with lots of "unknowns" we knew we chose the right DJ for our event. Chris was able to make suggestions that went well with our event as well as give us enough time to figure out various songs we wanted to make our day special. He had equipment for our outdoor ceremony, our indoor cocktail hour in one room and our reception in another room (even with special lighting!). Chris was flexible and played the music WE wanted as well as what he knew would get our guests up and dancing. He was early to our ceremony and stayed even after all the guests had left. He took requests and even asked me, the bride, at one point if I was okay with the music that was being played. He has a great collection of music and does everything in his power to make your special day just that much better. I highly recommend him and would use him again in the future and refer him to all my friends. Bravo!

Chris was an absolute riot! He made everything so incredibly easy from the first meeting we had with him all the way through our event. He absolutely nailed the music playlist just by one sitting with us and telling him what we generally liked for music. There was literally no time during our reception when the dance floor wasn't full. He was incredibly flexible when our venue changed the time for him to be able to go and set up. The quality of the sounds for our ceremony was perfect. He will be the first person I suggest to those who are looking for a DJ for any kind of event. 5 stars isn't enough, I would give him 100.

We found Chris on wedding wire and after looking at his website, and noticing his taste in music was exactly like my (now) husband's taste, it was a no brainer! Only after we booked him did we realize he was also the DJ at my sister-in-law's wedding as well, where he also dazzled us! He made the whole process super easy, he was affordable, and flexible. He did the music for our beach ceremony, and purchased a wireless headset for our officiant to use during the ceremony. He thought of all factors around the event that we hadn't considered and held our hand to guide us through all possible scenarios. The ceremony was perfectly tasteful with his musical additions. Onto the reception, his introductions were spot on - and we had some difficult names to pronounce! Our main goal was to get everyone having fun, so we said (if he needed to) he'd come up with some little games to play to get people out on the dance floor, but it wasn't even necessary. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night! I highly recommend him to anyone for any event!

I wish I could have a wedding or party every weekend so I could have Chris come and play music for us. My husband and I had a backyard wedding and it could not have been more perfect! The dance floor was packed from the minute the music started until the end of the night. Chris was so flexible, easy going, and helpful when it came to the music for the day. He was so approachable and was receptive to any changes or modifications such as starting the dancing tunes earlier than initially expected! He read the crowd well and kept everyone going the whole time. Chris was incredibly easy to work with during the planning process as well. I knew the music I wanted played and he delivered. Chris/Anthem Entertainment was a great choice for our wedding DJ! Throughout the whole planning process Chris was very easy to work with, responsive, professional, and fun! I shared a few of my Spotify playlists with him to give him a feel for our music taste and be nailed it!! He did a great job "navigating" our unique event schedule, which was far from the typical reception structure. We didn't want a traditional wedding reception layout and he respected that and worked with us to obtain a good flow for our party/wedding. Many of our guests raved about the song choices and asked for his information, really such a hit and very reasonably priced! I will absolutely recommend his services to all of my friends and if I ever need a DJ again I will definitely hire him again! Thanks Chris!!

Chris was amazing!!! He can really read a crowd, and determine what is missing. He brought people to their feet and made it happen. Anthem Entertainment was exceptional throughout the entire DJ selection process. Chris was our DJ at The International in Bolton, MA on July 4th 2015. He was professional in every sense of the word. Chris did a great job adding his own commentary to our reception. We received a countless number of compliments about Chris. We requested him to play a wide variety of music and he was able to play all of the songs we wanted and he made it sound perfect. Everyone LOVED working with Chris. Our tiny wedding had a hopping dance floor: Even grandparents danced! People couldn't stop talking about how much he made the party. Ever go to a wedding where the DJ was a flop? Too imposing/nonexistent? He struck a perfect balance between the two. He is friendly, hysterical, personable, professional, quick witted & has the ability to masterfully energize a crowd.
Settling on a DJ was the hardest part of planning. I was stunned how many DJs told me "you don't really want x, you should do this instead" and learned they charged as much as double his price. He was the only DJ who really collaborated with us to make our wedding awesome. If we said "that's a great idea, but can we tweak it & do this instead?" he went right along with it. He was the most reasonably priced out of all the professional quotes & offered a better value: Most quoted for 3-4 hours so if you want the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception you're out of luck. Chris charged a flat rate for the day. I have family prone to seizures, flashing lights were out of the question, so I thought there would be no lighting. I was pleasantly surprised to see what looked like uplighting on the speakers that added such a nice ambiance. It really epitomizes our experience: Chris gave us EVERYTHING we asked for, but was also full of pleasant surprises in pursuit of striking that perfect balance. I never told him a favorite pasttime is karaoke but when my favorite song came on & I happened to be near him & gave him a thumbs up ("hey that's my jam!") to my surprise he handed me a mic. Needless to say, this impromptu event was a huge unexpected hit. We haven't discovered who tipped him off so beware Chris may also be psychic. He is very responsive to phone & email, responding often within the hr, always within 24. Others can make you feel obligated to make a split second decision, but he gave details with no pressure. Talk to first & I have a feeling he'll make your decision easy!

Choosing Anthem Entertainment to DJ my wedding was one of the best decisions I made in the 2 years I spent planning my wedding!

Chris Maccagnano's relaxed demeanor, flexibility, confidence, and humor helped me to stay relaxed at my wedding so I could enjoy myself alongside my guests. Chris rolled with whatever the day threw him, including a surprise toast by my husband's step-father, the best man forgetting to offer a toast, and me losing one of my grandmother's pearl earrings. Chris took these all in stride and was a fantastic MC who transitioned us through our wedding events smoothly without being showy.

Chris also chose excellent, generally family-friendly dance songs (which I had requested) that kept all generations of my family and friends on the dance floor. He also fielded a large number of requests while still respecting the "Definitely Play" and "Do not play" lists my husband and I had planned out with Chris prior to the wedding ("I guess they ran out of time for the Chicken Dance," my mother-in-law lamented). Many guests commented to me after the wedding that my DJ was "awesome" and "hilarious."

Prior to the wedding, Chris was very flexible in meeting with me and my husband (who is military) to plan out the details of the reception and ceremony music, and was extremely helpful in our planning, since we were unfamiliar with many of the events that traditionally happen at wedding receptions.

Chris also provided microphones for the ceremony at no extra cost, did not charge us a travel or set-up fee, and would have provided lighting for free as well if we needed it. Anthem Entertainment is without a doubt one of the best values in DJ services in Massachusetts, and I would recommend them highly to anyone who likes throwing a good party.

Anthem/ Chris was hands down one of the best parts of our wedding. He was instrumental in the planning process, met with us way more than any other DJ probably would have and was incredibly professional throughout the process. We've been to a ton of weddings and the DJ can make or break it and there are some really sketchy wedding DJs out there. I've seen DJs turn down guest's requests, play things that the bride or groom didn't want, etc and Chris is the exact opposite of a cheesy wedding DJ.

We liked dealing with Chris so much that we referred him to my sister for her wedding (which was actually earlier in the year before ours) so we even got to preview his services beforehand and we literally didn't have him change a thing. Just an all around great guy who was instrumental in our day. Cannot recommend him enough.

Wow - Chris and Anthem Entertainment was the DJ for our wedding just last weekend. He assisted with whatever we needed for our ceremony from simple lighting to music to greeting guests and keeping them entertained. Our reception even though in a small venue, he made it lively, and up beat when needed and played just the right music during cocktail hour and dinner.

Throughout the night, he kept us on the dance floor and he threw in his personalizations and comments when needed that had everyone cracking up. We had some odd songs that we chose to play throughout the night, and Chris made sure he played them when appropriate.

Anthem Entertainment was so convenient to work with, very easy going, and if you don't know a song, he will find it for you, if you can't figure out just what you need to fill a void, he's got it! I highly recommend Chris /Anthem Entertainment for any of your wedding needs. He has years of experience, and with his a friendly out going personality, he knows how to get the party started and he keeps the party going! A HUGE thanks to Chris / Anthem Entertainment!

Chris was great! He was very flexible when we made last minute changes to our songs. Throughout the night he was energetic and kept the party going. Being a little offbeat with our musical tastes, Chris asked us to provide him with a list of selections that he could use to build a playlist for the reception... well we ended up giving him a 7 hour playlist in a messy order and told him to go rogue. He did a phenomenal job! Our friends and family were blown away with his perfect mix of dance, rock, country and punk songs and he kept the party hopping for 6 hours straight! He even took requests from our guests (with only one dud. Sorry, Billy Joel).

Chris was easy to work with, very professional and we highly recommend him for your upcoming wedding. He'll throw a wonderful dance party and keep your guests having a blast.

We hired Anthem Entertainment to DJ our wedding. We had such a great experience! Chris was extremely professional throughout the process. He was organized and made sure that he had all the details before the actual day. The day of the wedding he was extremely flexible and our needs were definitely his priority. With only a couple of weeks to go till the wedding, we found out we'd need a new dj and was referred to Chris. Throughout the whole compressed planning he was very professional and helpful, especially as we didn't know what to expect. A week before the wedding we lost our photographer and Chris helped us find a new one at the last minute, which was a godsend.

At the reception Chris did an amazing job and was able to keep the crowd laughing and engaged in the night as well as being receptive to last minute changes. We heard nothing but good things about the production from our guests.

I would highly recommend Anthem Entertainment for a wedding reception and we'll be hiring them again for any future events.

I actually hired Chris to DJ a large work holiday party for the last 2 years. They weren't weddings, but they were complete successes none-the-less! He provided fantastic background music for the original gathering of guests and then ramped up the party with fun dance music and karaoke! He had every song we requested and when we asked him to make some announcements he handled them with the perfect mix of professionalism and humor!
As far as logistics are concerned, his setup is minimal, as he works from his laptop and he is able to utilize resources at the venue (for example, he connected to a large, flat screen TV for the karaoke!) This high-tech setup is perfect for venues with limited space and for more specific music selections! We will certainly have him back at the helm of our holiday parties in the future!!! At this point he seems like part of our team!!

I recently hired Chris to DJ my wedding. I had been to a few other events where he was the dj (trivia fundraiser, halloween party) and was very impressed. He knows how to read a crowd and get them up and dancing. Chris was very proactive and wanted to understand exactly the tone we wanted for our wedding. He is very accommodating and flexible. We couldn't have been happier with Anthem Entertaiment. Our DJ was professional, well prepared, and, most important; he made it clear to us from the outset that our needs were his top priority. He accommodated every detail of our plan for the reception music. Where our planning ended, he picked right up, playing great music that had all of the guests out on the dance floor having a blast. It was a great event, and we have Chris in large part to thank for that.
