We highly recommend “Another Lu” Wedding Photography Experience!
Our wedding photography experience with “Another Lu” was truly beyond expectations. From the initial communication to the photo shoot day and the final images, everything was smooth, professional, and thoughtfully handled.
We chose three stunning locations: Legion of Honor, Torpedo Wharf, and Marina Drive. Another Lu was extremely familiar with all three locations and knew exactly how to use the scenery, architecture, and lighting to create breathtaking shots.
Legion of Honor -
The architecture here is very elegant. The photographer did an amazing job using its natural light, and the photos came out cinematic and timeless.
Torpedo Wharf & Marina Drive -
These locations were such a surprise. The combination of ocean views and the bay bridge gave the photos a storytelling feel. Although the fog were very dense, and super windy on that day, Another Lu still captured so many beautiful moments that we absolutely love. The team timed everything perfectly, and the final images feel romantic, soft, and dreamy, exactly what we envisioned for our wedding photos.
The entire shoot was fun, relaxed, and stress-free. Another Lu guided us naturally through all poses. We had so much fun and laughter through out the whole time. Most importantly, the final photos brought us smiles to our faces. We loved every single images. This was more than just a photo shoot; it was a wonderful memory we’ll always treasure. -

Lu’s team is simply the best

Nan and her team beautifully documented our special day! She showed her dedication and professionalism from our first conversation to the very end. We are novice at getting photos taken but Nan made us feel very comfortable. The photo came out beautifully and we received endless compliments from our friends and family. I am really thankful that I found Another Lu! We had Another Lu for our elopement photos for straight 8 hours. Another and Jamie are amazing, absolutely a pleasure to work with! They are professional with a lot of expertise and warmth. They scheduled calls with me to make sure they know exactly what I want for my wedding day. Another gave us a lot directions, as well as made us feel comfortable, made us laugh to ease the nerves. The photographies were beyond our expectations even though we already had high expectations for her from the beginning. Another captured all of the special and unique moments in such a beautiful way. I recommend Another to anyone and everyone! If you need a reliable photographer, Another Lu it is! -

Issac Sent on 04/28/2024#Our Fun and Memorable Pre-Wedding Photoshoot with Anthoerlu Photography in San Francisco
This past March, my fiancée Charis and I had the pleasure of traveling from Hong Kong to San Francisco for sightseeing and our pre-wedding photoshoot. We chose Anthoerlu Photography based on their stunning Instagram presence (@anotherluphotography). Right from the start, we knew we made the right choice. Nan and Jamie weren’t just ordinary photographers; they were engaging and very helpful, guiding us with care and immense attention to detail.
From the get-go, they were incredibly supportive, addressing our worries about bringing a wedding gown from overseas and even setting up a call to walk us through everything. We ended up buying one gown in Hong Kong (with a roughly 1.5m tail) and renting a beautiful long-tail (about 2 - 3m) gown from their collection, which Charis absolutely adored.
Visiting their studio was like dropping by an old friend’s home. It was warm and very welcoming, and finding the perfect gown with them felt personal and fun. Our shoot began at the enchanting Pulgas Water Temple, where Nan and Jamie effortlessly captured our love amidst the temple’s tranquility, surrounded by lush greenery and a serene reflecting pool. They were so skilled in making us feel relaxed, directing our poses with gentle suggestions that really made the photos come alive. The photos we received are simply stunning!
As we moved to the bustling intersections of California Street x Powell Street, we embraced the essence of San Francisco. The steep hills and the clanging cable cars were all vividly reminiscent of Hong Kong, yet uniquely San Francisco. Nan’s professionalism shone as she navigated through the uncertainties of street photography, keeping us focused and engaged despite the busy surroundings.
We also had a spontaneous hopping on and off a cable car. We went down to the Powell Street final stop, met a friendly operator speaking our mother tongue, Cantonese, who allowed us to capture some truly special moments from unique perspectives. These are all precious moments that were captured not only in the camera but also in our hearts.
Ending our day at the San Francisco City Hall, we were in awe of its architectural aesthetics. Nan knew exactly where to position us to make the most of the grand staircase and marble structures, ensuring every shot reflected the elegance of the setting (such as the scene, the luminance, and our interaction).
What touched us most was the genuine connection we felt with Nan, Jamie, and Alice (A big shoutout to @alicetangmakeup, whose services we absolutely loved. She was very caring towards Charis and paid great attention to detail). Despite coming from different backgrounds (Shanghai+Taiwan+HongKong+USA), the warmth and chemistry between us was undeniable. They made our session more than just a photoshoot—it was a memorable experience filled with laughter and shared stories. Receiving the photos in less than four weeks was just the cherry on top, allowing us to relive those moments and share them with loved ones back home.

Nan did an amazing job of capturing our wedding! She was professional and communicative, and she and her assistants knew how to navigate around shooting a wedding. The setting couldn't have been more ideal, harmonizing exquisitely with our attire and creating a backdrop that felt both intimate and grand. Karen and I really loved it.

Great style, flexible and professional
AnotherLu photography was the perfect option for our 50 person wedding. They were happy to work with my fiance on her mood-board for the style of the photos, and they were very flexible with us moving around to 3 different locations to capture many great moments from our special day. The best wedding photos!
I can't believe how great our wedding photos are!
Nan and their assistant were the absolute best to work with!
From capturing the random little moments to helping us find cute poses and encouraging us to be silly, Nan was the best and brought so much joy to our wedding day!
We had a pretty loose idea of what photos we wanted on our wedding day. We had planned a few location shoots and a few different series of photos at the wedding but we didn't have a strong plan or vision for what we wanted. Nan was great at taking our rough idea of what we wanted and making it perfect! Especially once we got to our venue and totally forgot about all of the photo shoots we had talked about doing. Nan was great at rolling with the punches and helping us make sure we got the pics we wanted.

My wife and I hired Another to photograph our wedding reception and ceremony on 3/26/23 and are so glad we did. Another was very professional and easy to reach. She met with us beforehand to get an idea what we wanted and explain her entire process. She even went above and beyond and showed up at our rehearsal to scope out the venue to get an idea of the layout. Another captured or special day beautifully and the pictures turned out great! I would recommend Another to anyone looking for a wedding or event photographer in the Bay. -
