Annie is a true gem! Right from the start, Annie was warm, kind and thoughtful in guiding us in the process of not only helping to create the perfect ceremony (and day) for us but also navigate all the dreaded paperwork and details. Her deep years of experience, truly getting to know us, and passion for details helped us create something that was 1000% better than what we initially planned ... and create magical memories that we will always remember. Annie is the best!

Annie was so amazing to work with! We instantly knew she was the perfect choice for us! Leading up to our wedding day, she was very responsive and took the time to meet with us in person to get to know our story, values, and what we wanted for our wedding day. We also got to know Annie’s story a bit. She is so warm & caring, and really gave us a lot of helpful guidance on how to plan our wedding ceremony (everything from how to include our dog, what readings to pick, how to deal with family pressure… you name it!). We went into the day feeling calm, confident, and knowing we could fully trust Annie with such an important moment in our lives.

A wonderful and professional VT officiant

We hired Annie for our August 2023 wedding in Reading, VT. From start to finish, she was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with and we loved getting to know her throughout the process. As an officiant, Annie’s years of experience in planning and leading ceremonies makes her very well prepared for all kinds of couples and unique celebrations. With all her guidance and suggestions, we really felt that our ceremony had a great flow and included many little details that made it unique and special to us. Annie truly made our private elopement in Vermont, so very special! She helped us with every detail and made personalizing our ceremony so easy and fun. Superb Destination Wedding

At the time of our wedding in Vermont, my wife and I lived in Texas. Annie did a fantastic job communicating with us regularly and generally giving us wedding planning tips. Annie is amazing!

Annie was SO helpful, kind, and well equipped to assist us write our vows, pick readings, and guide us during the ceremony for our wedding day! She met with us a couple of times before the day and made sure we had plenty of materials to choose our wedding ceremony readings and guided us in writing our personal vows. Annie lead the wedding party the day before in the rehearsal and made sure everyone knew what they were supposed to be doing. Her services are worth every penny and I would HIGHLY recommend giving her a call if you are in need of a welcoming, knowledgeable officiant! Thank you, Annie!!

Wonderful Officiant!

After our very first phone call with Annie, we knew we were in excellent hands. Creating a personalized and unique ceremony was important to us, and Annie helped us do just that. She took the time to meet with us to review the components of a wedding ceremony and discuss our vision. She provided us with a large selection of readings, poems, and symbolic ceremonies to choose from, but also welcomed outside material.
We had a pretty stressful wedding planning experience and Annie stuck with us through it all. We decided to postpone due to the pandemic and then ended up changing our postponement date and venue as well. We made a lot of changes to our original wedding plans and Annie was instrumental in reassuring us that everything would work out when we were facing so much uncertainty. Annie was also very responsive by both phone and email during the planning process, which we really appreciated.
Annie has many, many years of experience as an officiant, which we found very comforting because we were looking for someone who knew what they were doing. She also had lots of advice to share about the ceremony and weddings in general, which we found very helpful. We really enjoyed working with Annie and having her with us on our wedding day; she is a genuinely nice person.
If you’re looking for an officiant who has a lot of experience and will help you personalize your ceremony, book Annie! She will be a great asset to your vendor team and is a joy to work with.

Best decision we made in planning our wedding!

Choosing Annie as our wedding officiant was the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning. We were originally planning our wedding for August 2020. Our venue was pushing us to hold off on rescheduling. Annie was our voice of reason throughout the chaos of planning and replanning. She was honest with us when it was time to postpone, based on information she had through the Vermont Board of Wedding Professionals. She supported us when there were challenges with rescheduling, and just could not have been more patient and lovely. Once we did have everything rescheduled, Annie had multiple calls with us, planning every aspect of our ceremony. It was very apparent that she truly cared about the ceremony being what we wanted. Annie shared her tips with us from her 20+ years of experience and was able to provide guidance that we very much trusted. Annie stayed in touch with us leading up to our wedding and answered any questions we had ahead of time. She spent quite a bit of time talking with us about our ceremony and what to anticipate. She was very thorough leading up to our wedding rehearsal and actual ceremony. All involved knew where they needed to be and what would happen the day of the event. We can't say enough about Annie. She was truly a source of calm amidst so much uncertainty throughout planning a wedding during a global pandemic. We are so very grateful. If Annie is available on your date, don't wait to book her! Guys, if you have not booked Annie for your wedding and you can get on her calendar, JUST DO IT! Annie was amazing and made our wedding feel like it was 100% ours in every single way. We incorporated both non religious and some Roman Catholic aspects to make our grandparents happy as well as us who decided that we really didn't not feel like getting married at a church was our cup of tea. She had readings that she recommended laid out for us, recommendations that our guests loved (do the wine box you won't regret it!) and amazingly kept in touch with us even though she was going through an extremely hard time♥️She also ran our rehearsal and corralled the herd of cats that is out bridal party as well as mine and my husbands family in the most professional way ever! We got married at the Inn at Mountain View farm and she knew the place like it was the back of her hand. She was a calming force on a day that could have been incredibly stressful and we never would have been able to do it without her♥️ Thank you Annie from the bottom of our hearts for being so responsive, thorough, and caring throughout the entire process! Again if you are thinking about hiring her get your foot off the brake and just do it! You will not find a more professional, prompt, and personal officiant out there!

Totally customized the experience to represent us- Married on 5/8/2021

Annie was incredible throughout the entire process. She was extremely knowledgeable and up to date about the status of Covid-19 in VT and what the guidelines were for weddings. She met with us over the phone multiple times to make sure that our ceremony would be customized and specific to my husband and I which made for a very personalized ceremony. It is clear that she spent much time planning the ceremony for our special day. She even had a back plan already in mind if we had to move the ceremony from outside to inside, which we did, and she executed this seamlessly. We absolutely loved having her as our officiant and got many compliments about how sweet the ceremony was. We highly recommend Annie!

Annie did a perfect job as our wedding officiant at Stratton Mountain! Annie is amazing

There are almost no words to describe how wonderful Annie was. My husband and I (same sex couple) as prepared as we thought we were, really had no clue about what we wanted in terms of the actual service and also the practical steps we had to follow in making our marriage official. Annie truly guided us from square zero and built the most beautiful personalized ceremony. She was soo good she actually married us twice, both officially in a small ceremony and symbolically in a large ceremony for family and friends.

If you are a busy couple and have no idea what to do, I would 100% recommend reaching out to Annie. Before our ceremony we were living abroad and all communication was done via email and phone. Somehow through this she was able to deliver the most heartfelt officiation (my eyes water thinking of how beautiful her words were) and she was also able to incorporate various cultural traditions going above and beyond doing independent research to make all family feel welcome and included.

Annie was the foundation of our marriage and started everything on a good foot. I am so thankful to have had her as an officiant.

- Annie was an amazing officiant! She was with us each step of the way. She truly has ceremony planning down to a science and her experience shines through. When talking with Annie on the phone, she was kind and truly wanted to know what it was we wanted for our ceremony. She met with us in person to go over ceremony details and helped guide the way. Our Tiny Wedding

Annie officiated over our wedding in May 2019 at Boorn Brook Farm in Manchester, VT. We had chosen an elopement with just the two of us, Annie, and our photographer, Sally Carpenter. Great Officiant and person

We got married on May 25th 2019 at the Alerin Barn in VT. It was so perfect thanks to all the vendors but especially Annie. The ceremony was so personalized as my husband and I created it together with Annie's help. It was exactly what we wanted for us. Not every officiant is like that. Annie was, by far, more affordable than competing surrounding officiants and, honestly, she was worth every penny and more. Everyone kept saying that they were in the moment and the whole ceremony felt genuine- I felt like we created a ceremony that was truly shared with our guests. and the rehearsal went off without a hitch! Wonderful officiant!

Annie was an amazing officiant and a wonderful person! She was professional, easy to communicate with and extremely knowledgeable about weddings. We met with Annie before our wedding and she helped us feel confident and not worry about a single aspect of our ceremony with her as our officiant. She helped us make our ceremony unique to us.

A truly amazing woman

My husband and I eloped last year. I literally googled officiants in the Woodstock, VT area and Annie’s name popped up. It was a very spur of the moment and last minute decision on what day and time we would get married. Well Annie was a blessing for sure. She was so kind and patient with us. She made sure that our day and the words we said and what we felt was all from us. The ceremony was one of the most special moments of my life. Truly perfect

Annie wasn’t available to be our officiant but she went above and beyond to help us plan the ceremony. She set us up with a backup officiant, contacted our vendors, and worked with us to ensure it went perfect. In hindsight I can’t think of a single thing I would change about our ceremony. It was truly perfect.

Orator, Confidant, Sage (and she really gets the job done!)

Annie was incredible. At our planning meetings, she provided us with tons of options and resources for readings, symbolic ceremonies and ways to combine our mixed-tradition wedding. She advised on handling our families' feelings and representing both traditions, along with ways to build our own. Annie kept us on a realistic timeline for planning the ceremony, and rolled with the punches when we made last-minute changes. She is a a gifted orator, and treated our wedding as though it was for her own family member. Everything ran perfectly, and we owe it all to Annie. We never worried about our ceremony (because we didn't have to). From planning to The Wedding Day, you can't beat Annie Alexander-Kramer.

Woodstock, VT Wedding in July

Annie's experience and knowledge was extremely helpful in planning a ceremony that felt personalized to my husband and I! We had an initial phone call to talk through what we were generally thinking and then we had an in person meeting a few months out to nail down the details. She provided binders worth of reading and ceremony options for us to choose from to make our wedding perfect for us, and also planned out every little detail (procession order, song choices, etc) so that the day felt super organized. She was easy to get in touch with to answer any of our questions along the way. It also helped that Annie has worked with my wedding coordinators in the past and was familiar with the Woodstock Inn that she was able to run a seamless day! She even gave us suggestions on where to get our marriage license and other local VT vendors to use. I would highly recommend having Annie as your officiant to ensure a stressless planning process and great ceremony!

Annie was fabulous!

Annie was great to work with! She walked us through every step of the planning from the start to finish. She made everything simple and shared the many options we had for the ceremony. We were able to make it fit right for us and Annie was flexible and open to all of our ideas. She was so easy to communicate with from a distance and also met us in person too. Perfection

Annie preformed my daughters wedding on October 6, 2018 at the Barn at Smugglers Notch. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The ceremony that Annie preformed was perfect. It was elegantly done yet light hearted. At the cocktail hour I was so happy to hear how many of the guest commented on her ceremony and how beautiful it was. She is truly a wonderful person and would recommend her wholeheartedly.

September Wedding in Vermont

We got married in Vermont at the end of September and Annie helped us craft a perfect ceremony! Many of our guests told us the ceremony was the best part of the wedding! She met with us before the wedding to learn more about our "love story" and give us reading options for the big day. She also allowed us to incorporate our personal vows into the ceremony, which was very beautiful! I would definitely recommend Annie!

Vermont Fall Wedding

My husband and I live in Pennsylvania, but got married last weekend in Vermont. We quickly found that planning a wedding from 7 hours away was not an easy task. Despite the distance, Annie was always available and great at communicating with us. It is apparent that she has a lot of experience at officiating weddings and we really appreciated her expertise and professionalism. Our ceremony could not have gone any more smoothly or been more beautiful and we largely have Annie to thank for that. We feel extremely fortunate to have had her officiate our wedding and would definitely recommend her!

Annie was amazing!! As soon as I spoke with her on the phone, I knew that she was the perfect person to marry us. Annie met with us before the wedding and provided us with materials, etc to build are ceremony. We made it totally us! Annie came to Jay peak and completely ran the rehearsal. Our rehearsal was inside and at last call the wedding was outside. We had a lot of..... oops. On our wedding day including temporarily mis placing the rings. Annie rolled with all of the hiccups and she made our ceremony perfect!!! We have the most amazing memories of our wedding day and ceremony and that is thanks to Annie!! I would highly , 100% recommend her to anyone getting married because she is AMAZING!

Annie was terrific! Though she is based in Vermont and our wedding was in upstate New York, she was willing to take on our wedding. She was always available via phone or email, and she was very much a pleasure to meet with as we planned the big day. When it came time to meeting in person, she was more than accommodating, helping coordinate a location to meet that was not too cumbersome for us to get to.
She has a great personality, matched with experience. She has a wonderful resources ready to choose from to help you plan a structured, yet incredibly personal, ceremony. Beyond her resources in readings, unity ceremony options, and vows, she will accommodate readings/speeches that you bring to the table.

Picking an officiant was something my now husband and I were very nervous to do. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted in a ceremony and didn't know how to go about finding out. Working with Annie was fantastic. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable and her wealth of experience really put us at ease. Even though we planned our wedding from far away, we were able to have a number of calls with Annie to work through the process as she was very easy to get in touch with. When it came time for the rehearsal, Annie had everyone in place and understanding their roles very quickly. As for the actual ceremony, it was perfect and we got so many compliments from our guests on our amazing officiant!

We were supposed to get married in our home state and then travel to Vermont for our honeymoon. But at the last minute- those plans fell through and we decided to try and get married in Vermont. I spoke to several industry people who told me that it would be near impossible to find anyone that could pull something off this last minute and certainly not anyone any good. A photographer I spoke with gave me Annie's name but warned me that she was very popular and would probably be unavailable. I left a frantic voicemail for her - and within minutes I received a call back. As I expected - she had 3 weddings that weekend - but to my surprise - she said she would be glad to accommodate us. She woke up at 7:30 am - drove over an hour to Woodstock - performed the perfect ceremony - and even stayed and took pictures. If I had my choice of every officiant in the entire state - I would still pick Annie hands down every time. She was the picture of professionalism mixed with the right amount of personality and spunk. We could not have been more pleased and would give her our highest recommendation.

Annie was excellent! From our first phone call with her, we knew we had the right person! She gave us great feedback and advice not only for the ceremony but also for dealing with outside pressures and how best to enjoy our day. She met with us twice and answer more than a few emails and phone calls! She printed out our vows and readings to ensure everything was just right and even acted as a soundboard when we had writer's block. Because of possible rain, for the rehearsal she made sure everyone knew the outside and inside plans. The ceremony has great and a large part of that is due to Annie's dedication. I doubt you could do better than having Annie on your side throughout the entire process!!:)

My partner and I could not have been happier with our choice of selecting Annie to be the officiant for our wedding! Annie went out of her way to get to know us. She met with us countless times both in person and over the phone. Annie said if we ever needed anything or had a question about the planning process that we could reach out to her by phone or email …she was so helpful in all aspects of our wedding planning. Annie was wonderful. I planned our elopement to Vermont from Texas all via internet and telephone. I contacted Annie via Weddingwire and had a response almost immediately. I called her and we visited. It just felt right. We actually met 15 minutes before the ceremony and it was like we were old friends. Annie was very helpful in suggesting Vendors who would work with me. Annie was on top of it all. When she did not realize we were marrying down by a river, Annie took hold of my sons arm and climbed down. Annie is professional, very nice, smiling and caring. Annie dressed very conservatively so as not to take away from the bride. She also had a tissue ready and discreetly handed it to me when the tears began to fall. Her husband came along and he was a delight. My only regret is we did not have more time to spend with her and her husband. Ladies, choose Annie, you will not be disappointed.

Annie was amazing!! From our first call to the day of the wedding she was always on top of everything. Having done so many weddings we felt so comfortable with her right from the start and trusted that she knew what she was doing. She is so personable and kind!
We did most of our planning over the phone as my husband and I were living outside of Vermont. We did meet at her house to go over ceremony options in person but all other meetings were over the phone. Annie had so many ceremony options that we really felt like we were able to fully personalize our ceremony and make it our own. Annie shared her opinions but listened to what we wanted and ensured the end product was amazing.
Annie was great at the rehearsal and stayed until we were comfortable with how it was all going to happen on the day of our wedding. We had a beautiful day the day of our wedding and Annie made sure it went flawlessly!
We really appreciated how organized and prompt Annie was. With all the weddings she was the officiant for she always knew who we were when we called with questions or follow up items. Thanks so much Annie!

Annie was everything my fiance and I could have hoped for in an officiant. Going into the planning process, I dreaded finding one, because it's always awkward for me talking to strangers...especially when it comes to something as important as your WEDDING. When I called Annie, she was so kind and helpful and immediately I felt comfortable talking to her. I live in TX, and she very promptly got me her wedding packet containing a sweet hand written note and a TON of helpful information. She explained everything and clearly knew what she was doing. Annie was absolutely amazing and made our ceremony so intimate and memorable. She was experienced and knowledgeable and able to take charge and help our ceremony run smoothly. We live in Florida, but got married in Vermont and Annie was with us every step of the way contacting us by both phone and email. She spent time with my wife and I going through options for the ceremony so we could have our own unique wedding ceremony experience. In short, our wedding ceremony was wonderful. I highly recommend Annie to anyone looking for an officiant. You will not be disappointed!!

My husband and I are from CT and needed help planning the perfect ceremony for our outdoor VT wedding. We both have extremely busy schedules but Annie was magically able to help us figure out a personalized ceremony that reflected exactly who we are. It was intimately unique yet traditional in the right ways. We could not have done this without Annie. She had tons of readings to choose from, and offered her vast experience within the wedding industry to help us figure out the order and timing of the ceremony. Anytime I called her, she was available... Which was really helpful for us being in CT or traveling on business throughout our engagement. She also ran our rehearsal the night before, and is very professional and patient. If you need an officiant for your wedding, call Annie. She is the best!

We had the pleasure of having Annie as our officiant for our wedding this past summer at Sugarbush Resort in Vermont. From the initial phone interview we had with her prior to signing our contract, we immediately found her to be warm, professional, and highly interested in us as a couple. She was flexible and available when discussing and planning our wedding ceremony, either by phone or in person, which was extremely helpful and well-appreciated while planning a wedding from out of state. Annie also provided us with some inspirational material to help guide us while creating our perfect yet unique civil ceremony.
At the rehearsal, Annie showed up on time and remained professional throughout. It was clear how knowledgeable and well-versed she is in officiating weddings, and kept our rehearsal flowing smoothly--even when we had to unfortunately change the location due to inclement weather. On the wedding day, Annie delivered a wonderful, unforgettable wedding ceremony that we had written with her help. It went absolutely beautifully and flawlessly, and we are so glad to have had her officiate our special day. It is clear how much Annie loves working with couples from the initial planning all the way to the "I do", and we would 100% recommend her to future brides & grooms!

Annie was an amazing officiant. She helped us plan a wedding in Vermont while living in California, and even though we didn't meet her until the day before the wedding I knew for sure that she had things under control. She gave us great advice during the planning stages and was super flexible with when she was available to talk on the phone. She also did an awesome job keeping everyone focused during the rehearsal. My husband and I were planning our dream winter Vermont Wedding from NJ over the last 18 months. I am Jewish and my Husband Episcopalian so we were looking for an Officiant that could include both traditions but, most importantly, a ceremony as unique as our relationship.
From the first meeting with Annie it was clear that she was the one to make our dream wedding come true.
She made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. Helped us choose readings that suited us and created a flow that was perfect for us. She wanted to know every detail of our day so that she could enhance the overall experience, and she did. We spoke several times and there was always a clear process. But above all, Annie is one of the most kind and genuine people we have ever met. Our entire Wedding party just loved her. She is gentle, but assertive making our rehearsal a beautiful part of the entire experience.
We got married on January 31, 2015 at Stowe Mountain Lodge, Stowe VT. We feel like our ceremony was so perfectly us, with lots of laughs and just the right amount of tears.
Thank you, Annie for everything. You really MADE the Wedding for us and we will visit the next time we are in VT.

My husband and I hired Annie as our officiant for our winter wedding in Woodstock, VT. She was extremely professional, and it was very clear to us that she has many years of experience under her belt! We loved the vows and readings Annie suggested for us and also her idea to have a wine ceremony. She was amazing to work with and made us feel at ease with how the ceremony would turn out (which ended up being wonderful)! Annie is terrific! She has great energy, loves her involvement in weddings, and is very organized. Annie was great in helping us plan our wedding! We were having to plan our wedding from Texas, so my husband and i needed a lot of help along the way. Annie was super helpful! She had a ton of resources for us to look through and was VERY helpful in helping us make decisions as to what we wanted. (we were so clueless on so many things) If she thought our idea/plan needed a little help, she gave great advice that we ended up loving. She even checked in with us along the way to make sure we were ahead of the game and not stressed. She helped us plan a very beautiful wedding that really matched our personalities and we were very proud of.

We planned a destination wedding in Vermont from Virginia, and she was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond in helping us prepare for the ceremony, emailing us several suggestions that we could choose from for our vows and for readings. During the day of the ceremony, she helped us travel around town getting wedding pictures, going so far as to help carry the bride's wedding dress trail to keep it from getting dirty. The wedding was stunning, and Annie was certainly one of the reasons why we will cherish that day for the rest of our lives.

We had a great experience working with Annie for our June 21st wedding in Vermont. After our first meeting with her, she kept in touch to discuss ideas and was great about keeping us on track with our "homework" leading up to the wedding. She had lots of ideas to share from her bountiful experience, but was also very open and flexible to let us incorporate our own details of the ceremony.

She is extremely professional and made the whole ceremony run perfectly smoothly, from prepping beforehand, to the rehearsal, all the way to the big day.

Annie did a wonderful job from the day we met her to the day of our wedding. She had lots of reading samples and ideas for us to choose. The day before the wedding, she helped us to reorganize the ceremony site. I was skeptical at the beginning but it worked perfectly!

Working with Annie was amazing! Our first introduction to her was over the phone. She is so warm and puts you at ease immediately. She asked many questions to learn as much as she could about my husband and I. Upon meeting her for the first time, she walked us through a typical ceremony. She was open to all of our ideas and had such great suggestions. Having performed so many weddings, she had so many helpful pieces of advice (things I NEVER would have thought of). We couldn't have planned such a special and intimate ceremony without her. All our guests raved about what a wonderful ceremony we had and we owe it all to Annie! Annie was a wonderful wedding officiant. My husband and I had always known that we wanted to create a custom ceremony, but we weren't sure where to start. To this end, Annie was a fantastic resource. As soon as we formally booked her for our event, she mailed us a packet that included her core ceremony along with multiple suggested vows and readings. When we met to iron out the final details a few weeks before the wedding, not only did she travel to meet us halfway between her home in Vermont and ours in Connecticut, she also brought along a huge binder that was full of other readings and pro tips that we could peruse and pull from to create the perfect ceremony.

Annie was always willing and open to hearing our ideas, but she also wasn't afraid to interject her own expertise. In the end, although we worked together, her judgement was spot-on; we ended up putting together a ceremony that fit my husband and I perfectly and left every one of our guests crying happy tears. Thanks Annie!
