Delicious Cake!!!
Our cake was so beautiful that neither of us wanted to cut it but when we did, we were not disappointed whatsoever! Our wedding cake was honestly one of the best cakes we’ve ever had! We’ve had Annette’s cakes before for other occasions, so we already knew that we were going to go with them for our wedding cake. Our cake was so fresh from the real flowers that were hand placed down to the richness of the flavor. The only caveat is that we were not able to have a tasting (due to Covid which is completely understandable!) so we weren’t able to truly explore all of the flavors and fillings that they offered so we ended up going with something “safe” but we loved it anyway! Their services, price, and cakes make them one of our favorite bake shops for any and all occasions, we highly recommend them! -

Absolutely the best cake ever! Annette and Dave made our beautiful 50th wedding anniversary cake, and also a beautiful memory for us. They pay so much attention to detail and make sure you get exactly what you want. Can't wait for the next occasion to order another from the best bakery in Orlando. Annette and David have done it again by going above and beyond our expectations. We have them a photo of a cake that we wanted for daughter's birthday which was very detailed lotus flower and Annette stated she never has done one but when she called said cake was done not only was it beautiful she knocked it out of the park. The cake shop amazes us all the Time. Thanks Annette cakes best wishes in your ventures. -

Annette's Cakes did my wedding cake and they did a fantastic job. When my now-husband and I went in for a cake tasting, Dave helped me figure out how I wanted my cake to look. I decided that I wanted fresh flowers from my florist to decorate the three tiers, so Dave personally arranged the flowers on the cake at my reception venue. He arranged the flowers beautifully. The final product on my wedding day looked exactly the way I imagined it in my vision for the wedding.
Further, Dave was very good about corresponding with me over email regarding making changes to the cake and providing his vendor license (which my reception venue required). Overall, the cake was beautiful, tasted delicious, and the guests loved it. 10/10 would recommend Annette's Cakes for weddings or any other events. -

I have heard from many people that Anettes Cakes is the best you can do here in Orlando, and let me tell you that is exactly true. The quality is amazing, the cake is delicious, and the proprietors are some of the nicest people to work with. They truly helped make our wedding a dream come true. I would absolutely recommend them for any occasion (even if your just want to pop in a pick up something for yourself to enjoy!). -

You will not regret having your dream cake made by Annettes Cakes! I have experience baking cakes myself and I had sleepless nights worried that what i had envisioned for our big day would not be executed. I am so glad my friends talked me out of baking my own wedding cake! Dave was so wonderful to work with. I changed my cake design twice and he was so attentive and patient with me. I was surprised by the beautiful cake knife that Annette and Dave had engraved with our names and wedding date. The cake design that i chose was very intricate and i was brought to tears on my wedding day by how beautiful the cake was. My guests are still raving about how delicious the cake tasted! We could not thank Dave and Annette enough! -

You can't go wrong with Annette's for you wedding cake. Usually you have to decide between pretty or tasty. You rarely get both. My wedding cake was both beautiful and delicious. I highly recommend Annette's to anyone looking for a cake for any occasion. She also did my high school graduation. It was amazing as well. -

Annette has been a joy to work with. She personally saw to it that we enjoyed our tasting and worked with us on fitting the cake we wanted into our budget. She has been there every step of the way. I almost cried when I finally got to see our wedding cake. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Annette made our cake exactly how we wanted, and it was so delicious. Guest had nothing but wonderful things to say.

I just want to say that Dave (makes the cakes) was a wonderful person to work with. I was sadly unable to have him and his wife do our cake, but I wanted to make sure to write a review anyway. The cakes his wife decorates are phenomenal and surprisingly affordable for the budget friendly bride. They are flexible with many things and they're cakes are great! If you want to feel like a part of the family who is baking your cake, this is the place to go. They're hospitality is so wonderful and they are such sweet people. Do not overlook this quaint little bakery. It is worth your time and they will even do a cake on very short notice for you. Thank you, Dave, for a wonderful experience. I couldn't let an amazing cake go unrecognized 2 years in a row. First off let me say I am a firm believer in reviews and I do a lot of research before spending my money just anywhere. Last year a friend of mine asked me to find a bakery in the Orlando area that sold customized cakes -she wanted a Mikey Mouse theme cake for her 1 year old nephew. It was last minute and I called all over Florida looking for someone to make this cake and this birthday a memorable one. Well I ran accoss Annettes Cakes in my Google search and when I called to inquire Dave was more than helpful from the minute he picked up the phone. I had limited cake options to choose from as we had waited to the last minute (our fault) but we had a picture and a vision and Dave well exceeded our expectations - Not only did the cake look amazing but it also tasted Great!
So this year rolls around and I find out they are going back to Orlando for his 2nd birthday party and I call Dave up again with another vision this time a Monsters Inc Theme .. I emailed him a picture on Tuesday he told me he could do it but I had to have the order in that day (vecause once again we waited till the last minute) but they didn't have all the characters I wanted .. I told him not a problem I would get the characters to him if he could make the perfect cake yet again. So I searched around for the characters Dave even called around the Orlando area for me as well ( the kindest gesture) once I found the toppers at the Disney Store I had them mailed to the shop they arrived on Thursday. Friday I called Dave and asked him for a picture when he sent the picture I was blown away!! It looked better than the picture I sent him to go off of!!!

They were wonderful to work with. Dave was very receptive to what I wanted and wenT out of his way to make sure he had my requests correct. The cakes were wonderful, moist and excellent. They came out great (both of them were very challenging designs) and exceeded our expectations. They were early for delivery and the cakes were, quite simply, incredible. Annettes Cakes has been my go to bakery since the very first time I had a slice of her cake!!!
You see, I'm not typically a big fan of cake. However that all changed once I realized how good cake can be!!!
My personal favorites are her carrot, chocolate with fudge filling, and white with strawberry filling. They are amazingly moist and perfectly sweet!!!
I have gone to her for cakes for all of the following occasions:
Birthdays, Wedding Showers, Baby Showers, and my own Wedding cake!!!
In every occasion I have communicated my ideas with her and she has taken what I have in my mind and turned it into the most amazingly beautiful cake you've ever seen!!!
I give Annette and her shop a full 5 star review as I can go honestly say she always out does herself and I've never left feeling anything but thrilled!!!! -

I went in to Annette's Cakes to visit the new supply shop. While I was there I tried a sample of her rum cake. Honestly it was one of the best cakes I had ever tried! Of course I had to have more. If you want the best cakes in Orlando, Annettes Cakes is your stop. I will be back soon for cakes for many different occasions. -

When I told Annette I was getting married I know her first thought was to close for the day. I'm always coming up with the wildest ideas and have her doing some of the craziest things. When I came in she embraced me with open arms. The cake I wanted had so much detail, so much work, layers and complicated designs. Annette did what she does best and turned out one of the best cakes she has ever done. The cake was adored by my guest and had diamond rhinestones and beautiful quilting. I thank you so much my love. Annette's cakes are delicious and beautiful! We hired Annette to do our wedding cake after going to a cake tasting at her shop. She was very generous with the cake portions we asked to sample...my husband loved them so much he almost finished them on the spot. We asked for her Red Velvet and regular Chocolate with a cream cheese filling for our wedding. We also opted to do regular butter cream frosting rather than the popular fondant because we hate the taste. It was so delicious and almost impossible to tell that it was butter cream instead of fondant! The cake was rich and moist and everyone loved it! We are still eating it now!!
I gave her a picture of the design I wanted for the cake, which was similar to one she had done before, and she nailed it! We are very happy we chose Annette! -

Annette's Cakes made me a beautiful 4-tiered cake with buttercream icing in a "stucco" effect. It was simple but perfectly the way I wanted it. We did the amaretto with buttercream filling for some tiers and lemon with raspberry filling for others. It tasted fresh, moist and full of flavor. We loved our wedding cake and our guests did too! And they were very reasonably priced. They did an outstanding job. -

Dave at Annette's cakes was amazing! I planned my wedding from south Florida and it at times was very stressful. I informed Dave that unfortunately I had to move up my wedding a whole year because my grandmother got sick. They were so incredibly helpful making everything very easy for me to pick out and do from afar. Once I came into Orlando, they allowed me to try several flavors and filling (I went with the red velvet and yellow cake) the cake was AMAZING!! I'm a huge cake critique and this cake was beyond good! The prices were great, we shopped around and found that we couldn't beat these prices. My wedding was small and I only had 50 people. Dave showed me the size cake for the amount of people I was having and it looked so small! He had a good point and told me I shouldn't spend more money on getting a bigger cake because I would have a lot left over! Instead, he suggest I get a big base (fake piece that looked like cake) and that way the cake would look bigger. It worked! It looked amazing and I purchased everything at the cake shop. They have a cake supply store thats really convenient if your looking for accessories. The cake was so good that me and my husband couldn't even wait a whole year to eat the top half and we ate it all at the wedding!! I'm looking forward to ordering a replica of my cake for our 1 year wedding anniversary! Thank you Annettes bakery! -

I was so pleased with everything! We had so much going on during our ceremony it was nice to have something done right without any stress whatsoever. The cake looked amazing and everything went just perfect on our perfect day. -

I requested a wedding cake with edible photos and it came out beautiful and delicious! The cake was exactly what I envisioned plus more. My wife loved every bit of it. Dave demonstrated professionalism throughout the entire process. I wish I could say the same for others. Thank you Dave! -

We did not have an appointment, they welcome us with open arms. Mrs Annette prepared a platter with a variety of cake samples. This was great because we were in Florida for only 3 days. The samples were delicious and the staff was great. We selected the cake which will be delivered. Very satisfied.
