Gilmore Girls Bridal Shower

I celebrated my bridal shower at AWI in Saratoga Springs as a Gilmore Girls inspired event. The Inn and all the staff was very communicative and made the event a great one. They worked with us on parking as it ended up snowing the day of and made sure guests could get in and out safely. The venue was beautiful and the staff was amazing!

Bridal Shower

Anne's Washington Inn is a beautiful venue. It's open and bright and allows the outside views in through the many windows highlighting everything to be seen within the Inn. Joe, the owner, is a wonderful, welcoming host who generously gives of himself and the Inn. His kindness and helpfulness made my choice of venue the easiest part of the entire process. I highly recommend the Inn, not only for the venue itself, but also that you and/or your guests can stay there too! A major point for me was that it was impeccably clean, easy to locate, plenty of parking, lovely grounds and makes you feel happy just walking through the doors.

I highly recommend Anne's Washington Inn. You will not be disappointed. Joe is GREAT and the Inn is very, very lovely.

Fantastic!

I know that I told you this but I just had to make sure you knew that we cannot thank you enough for your genuine hospitality this past weekend and during our whole planning of our wedding! You are so easy to work with and so accommodating! Our family and guests loved the atmosphere of the Inn and how it felt "like home" ~ we had it all to ourselves! They LOVED sitting on the front porch and having their tea and also being able to go out during the wedding was great for them too! We could not have had a better experience with you and the Inn ~ it was everything that we hoped for ... and more! The feeling of "warm and cozy and welcoming" was overwhelming! My nephew and his wife had a "date" and took the bike out and rode around the park and town and had such a wonderful time!

Joe ~ I would highly recommend your Inn to anyone .... and we truly are so thankful and appreciative of all that you did!

Thanks so very much!!

Joe Bokan and his team and Anne's Washington Inn went above and beyond to provide the perfect wedding accommodations for us and our entire family and friends! The venue was spectacular and unique in its ability to not only host the wedding but provide a location for all of our friends to enjoy together all weekend. From Friday to Sunday we enjoyed a wedding weekend we will never forget. The facility and grounds are beautifully maintained, close to everything Saratoga has to offer and casual enough to make you feel right at home. The flexible wedding packages allowed us to bring in our own preferred caterer and band while using the Inn's facilities to host the wedding and reception. Top notch experience from beginning to end. We had many family and friends tell us this was the best wedding they've every attended. Thanks Joe and everyone at the Inn for making it seem so effortless!

We had our wedding at Anne’s Washington Inn in June – we could not have been happier!!! When we first met Joe the February of the prior year he felt that we had known him forever! The Inn was closed for the season and Joe had just returned for vacation but he was so willing to meet with us and show us around! We knew that minute we stepped onto the property that this was were we wanted to be! The ability to have the whole property for the whole weekend without ‘outsiders’ – perfect!!!! Over the planning process Joe was so wonderful answering any questions and calming our nerves. Encouraging us to bring family and friends to see the place and have a cup of coffee and sit on the porch. We felt that he was family – and do even more so now! The wedding weekend was perfect! If you’re having a small wedding (ours was 60 people) it was absolutely perfect!!!!! Love the Inn and love Joe and his staff were so wonderful and pleasant! We will be back for a stay most definitely!

Joe and the rest of his staff were absolutely amazing during the planning process and during our wedding. I couldn't speak more highly of the entire team at Anne's Washington. Not only were they accommodating in every way for my husband and I, they were gracious with guests and made everyone feel at home. Joe is incredible - we do not live in the area and he helped us with finding additional vendors and even helped coordinate with them the day of wedding. A large part of the success of our big day is thanks to Joe!

Anne's Washington Inn was absolutely the perfect venue for our wedding! On top of that, Joe, the owner was so kind, pleasant, and helpful, words can't even express my gratitude. This was a destination wedding for us, as we live in Virginia. All of our guests were so happy with the Inn, and it was so nice to have everything at one place. Having his "old-time' car, the bikes, as well as the swings made for the perfect pictures. Plus, our guests were able to ride the bikes into town to explore. The location could not be any better! Joe went above and beyond any expectations we had. Highly recommend Anne's Washington Inn for the wedding of your dreams!

We took over AWI for the bride's family and close friends for our wedding weekend, and we hosted brunch on Sunday after the wedding. Joe was awesome to work with and AWI is such a beautiful property with beautiful natural light and a fun back story. We also had people staying at another inn down the road, so we had a couple of late night after parties at AWI but it was super convenient to where everyone else was staying so it was really a great setup. Joe is also amazing and so open and helpful. Text is the best way to reach him, so just something to be aware of, but he's really on top of it that way and on site.

Anne's Washington Inn served as home base for our magical wedding weekend. Joe, the owner, is THE FRIENDLIEST, kindest, most generous person you will ever meet. He made me and my husband feel right at home, and welcomed all of our family and friends with open arms. We were able to host our rehearsal dinner, wedding after-party, and post-wedding breakfast there. It was so nice to have everyone in the same place--it really felt like a weekend-long house party. All of our guests remarked on how beautiful and comfortable the rooms were.Thank you, Joe, for making our wedding so perfect and memorable.

The owner, Joe, is an absolute sweetheart, and we are SO happy that we chose to work with him as our wedding reception venue. We booked the Inn for two nights (one night needs to book all 18 rooms or else you are charged a fee), so we had family and wedding party stay the night before as well as the night of the wedding, which lent us an intimate and real "getaway" feel to our weekend. The inn is just precious and again- Joe is the shining light at the center. He makes you feel welcome from the first time you meet him, when he offers you "Peggy water" (lemon infused ice water) and a sit on the porch. He is very excitable and personable, making you feel like you're the first and only wedding he's ever hosted.

My experience at the Washington Inn was absolutely fantastic! Joe was extremely accommodating and always available when needed. The venue is romantic and intimate. My party turned out beautiful and I was very happy with the outcome.

Anne's Washington Inn is a beautiful venue perfect for any event. The attention to detail was evident. Joe makes you feel welcome, and is there for whatever you need. It was also very relaxing. My guests and I never felt rushed. We enjoyed the day at our own pace. It was a wonderful day enjoyed by all.

Thanks to Joe at Anne's Washington Inn my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams. The Inn is a beautiful location and the owner is extremely flexible. We were able to decorate the interior just as I imagined and Joe is such a pleasure to work with. My husband, our families and guests, and myself had a wonderful experience.

I put unique services because the relationship we had with Joe the owner was incredible, his personality and helpfulness was unbeatable, throughout the entire process Joe has helped us and worked with us to make the day of our wedding the most memorable experience we could think of. Overall the inside and outside of the inn was a great location very cool and worked great with our rustic themed wedding, everyone of our guests loved the buildings and the outdoor experience of Anne's Wahungton inn.

Anne's Washington Inn made our wedding day one we will never forget. It was the perfect intimate setting to share with our family and friends. From the second we walked into Anne's Washington Inn Joe made us feel welcomed. We knew that Anne's was the perfect place for us to have our wedding. Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect, our guests were immediately relaxed and comfortable from the moment they arrived. The reception space provided plenty of room for a bar area, seating, dancing and a buffet table and plenty of room for guests to socialize and talk. Joe and his staff went well above and beyond our expectations for our wedding weekend. Our guests told us over and over again how perfect the Inn was and many had plans to stay at Anne's for their next trip to Saratoga Springs.

It was a perfect place to stay, relax and catch up with old friends being it was our
60th high-school reunion. The rooms were beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean.
Joe was the perfect host .... could not do enough for any of us ... breakfast was a delight and
coffee was the best. The whole setting was exceptional and I would recommend it totally
without any reservation.

I knew I didn't want my reception in a traditional ballroom or to have a reception venue where tons of my friends and acquaintances had had theirs, so my mom encouraged me to look at "That beautiful Inn on Route 9 on the way into downtown!" and I'm so glad I did. The Washington Inn is probably the Capital Region's best kept secret. I can't say enough positive things about it. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are charming, and the owner, Joe, is one of the nicest, most accommodating people you'll ever meet. One of the best parts about having my wedding here was that everyone who stayed the night (we filled all the rooms so the whole place felt like ours) really got to know each other by hanging out on the porch after the wedding and in the dining room over breakfast the next morning. I feel like my family, my new husband's family, and our friends all got to talk and hang out in a way that they wouldn't have in other venues when the reception ends and everyone goes home or to their hotels. Everyone felt so relaxed and at-home that no one wanted to leave the next morning! If you're looking for something beautiful, memorable, and just enough out of the box to make everyone jealous that they hadn't thought of it first, check out the Washington Inn!

Joe worked with my family and I to help host my destination wedding held on 4/25/15. I don't think we could have picked a better venue for our event. Anne's Washington Inn is a gorgeous and unique venue that is convenient to the best of Saratoga. Joe worked with us every step of the way and gave us great recommendations for other vendors to use for our wedding needs (catering, photography, etc). This was especially helpful since my husband and I and both of our families are not local. The weekend of the event my wedding party and I basically made the Inn our home for 4 days. Joe let us have access to the entire grounds and we felt at home. He was pretty much constantly available to help us for the entire wedding weekend. My guests made comments about the beauty of the Inn and the people that stayed and the Inn were all very pleased with the lovely accomodations. Joe helped us with our last minute needs and above all was kind and this made for an amazing experience. As a bride I had a lot of stress going into my wedding but the day went so smoothly thanks to Joe and the great vendors he recommended to us. Our wedding was a fantastic and fun day and Anne's Washington Inn will always hold a special place in my heart. I would strongly urge any bride to check out this venue for their wedding!

Joe at AWI was AMAZING! Everything we asked he said "no problem." We had a large party and used almost every room at the Inn, which were very comfortable.
We did get a tent for the reception because our party was so large and the wedding was outside at the gazebo. We had a beautiful weekend celebration of Kelsey and Sam's wedding. I would highly recommend Anne's Washington Inn and give them a 5++

Anne's Washington Inn was the perfect space to host our wedding weekend. Our family and full bridal party stayed at the Inn, and the ballroom served as the main gathering spot throughout the week. We set up a beautiful tent on the main lawn outside the inn to host our Friday night indian sangeet welcome party for all 200 of our guests. Our indian caterers traveled up from New York City and were able to cook for everyone in the industrial state-of-the-art kitchen. The evening was perfect. On Sunday everyone returned to the Inn for a catered brunch, giving us the opportunity to relive the memories from the day before with our friends and family.

The Inn is absolutely charming, with its wrap around porch, and sunny ballroom, perfect for people gathering throughout the day and in the evening. The rooms are beautiful (all of our guests were very impressed), and the victorian details make the whole experience feel timeless. Joe Bokan, the owner, bent over backwards to make sure everyone felt right at home, and ensured that the whole weekend went off without a hitch. If you are looking for a quintessential New England/ Saratoga experience, Anne's Washington Inn will be perfect for your wedding.

Joe and his staff made us feel right at home and were extremely helpful. Many of our wedding guests and even vendors commented on the beauty of the location and the friendliness of the staff. Very highly recommended for any event!

One of the best things we did for our wedding, was to rent out the Washington Inn for the night before the wedding, and off the wedding. First of all Joe is amazing and always made us feel at home while we where there. He always made us feel like we had known him forever. The Inn itself is true Saratoga, and perfect for a Saratoga wedding. The fact that it is divided into two buildings worked out perfectly for us. We where able to have the groom, his attendants and family in one building and the bride, her attendants and family in the other.
We also had the Rehearsal dinner right there and just hired a caterer, which means no one had to travel. Since we had the entire place to ourselves, it was ok that some of his family stayed up late playing cards, and my brothers stayed up playing guitar. The set up brought everyone together and allowed them to get to know each other a little before the wedding. It also worked out great for transportation and photography purposes. The building is so photogenic inside and out and backs right up to the State Park.
My mom and I had been so stressed out over finding a nice, affordable place in saratoga for people to stay, and for the rehearsal dinner. The Washington Inn solved both of those problems and Joe made it so stress free. I truly believe staying there was one of the best things we did for our wedding weekend!

I cannot imagine finding a better place to have our wedding. We had our ceremony and reception outside in the summer, and it was gorgeous. The rooms are also great-- they have a lot of individuality and charm. The location is also ideal-- walking distance to Saratoga State Park and downtown (where all the shops and restaurants are).

The owner, Joe, is one of the nicest people EVER. He really made our families and guests feel like they were at home. I wouldn't have changed a thing about our wedding venue, Joe, or his lovely staff.

If you're looking for a place to have your wedding, you MUST consider Anne's Washington Inn.

When I walked into the venue, I knew the Inn was a perfect place for my wedding. It's Victorian charm, and beautiful setting made it more personal and intimate for the .ceremony & reception than other big reception halls. We had all the rooms reserved (17) so after the party was over, we had the Inn to ourselves and many of us sat outside on the big wrap around porch and wished the night wouldn't end. In the morning we were served a wonderful breakfast in the dining room, and were able to share stories from the previous night, with family and friends. The owner Joe, was warm and extremely accommodating to everyone there. I couldn't have chosen a better venue for our special day.

I'll call it a Holiday Party since this form doesn't have "Retirement Party" on the list, however, I had my husband's retirement party at Anne's Washington Inn after attending several most beautiful weddings there. The warmth and charm of the setting and it's owner's personality were perfect… the party room, victorian wrap-around porch and grounds provided a fabulous space for the event and we filled the rooms up with our guests from far away. The band and the caterers had a blast too! Five stars from top to bottom! Some of our guests have returned there when visiting Saratoga since.

Absolutely perfect place for a 50th Birthday party or any event!! All out of town guests stayed in the lovely rooms which were affordable and made it extra special to have everyone together. Joe could not have been more accommodating, so easy to work with. Highly recommend this gem up on the hill. It's a special place for family and friends to be together.

Joe and staff are the best! Rented out both buildings for our wedding party and family for our wedding. Joe made it convenient and easy from start to finish. Was a pretty late night and since we were the only guests we did not disturb anyone which was an added bonus. Ease of making reservations, flexibility to payment methods for the guest rooms, easy/early check-in, the gracious accommodations, proximity to town, friendly staff, and clean rooms made this an A++! Thank you Joe! You've helped make the wedding truly memorable!

The Washington Inn is the perfect setting for an intimate, elegant cerermony. The owner of the Inn, Joe, is a very gracious host with a willingness to help and make this a special day. The Inn not only offers a great space for a ceremony/reception but also has guest rooms that are comfortable and quaint making everyone's stay enjoyable.

The Washington Inn was an absolutely amazing place to have our wedding this past fall. We were thrilled with how helpful Joe and the entire staff were throughout the complete process leading up to the wedding, as well as the big weekend! It was great to have both our ceremony and reception right on the beautiful grounds, and our guests definitely appreciated that as well. Joe makes sure that everything you want for your big day is taken care of, he is amazing! The Washington Inn is a beautiful venue to have a wedding and can help make the entire weekend one to remember. If you are looking to have a wedding in Saratoga, I would HIGHLY recommend checking out the Washington Inn.

The Washington Inn was the first and last place I had looked for a reception venue. From the moment I went to take a tour and had met Ginny, I knew this was the place. Ginny was amazing and made my husband and I feel like family, always greeting us with a hug. It was so nice to have the Inn for the ceremony and also the reception as none of my guests had to leave. Having accommodations available for out of towners was definitely a plus also. The setting was beautiful especially for October.

Thank you Ginny for being apart of our special day!

The Washington Inn provided the perfect setting for our fall wedding. Ginny and Joe were more than helpful leading up to the event and the entire weekend of the wedding. They were willing to do anything we needed! Details I hadn't even thought about were taken care of by the staff without a second thought. The individual rooms as well as the reception area are simply beautiful. The entire wedding party and immediate family were able to stay on site and enjoy both the ceremony and reception without ever leaving. Because we had the Inn to ourselves for the entire weekend, it was extremely private and intimate and all of our guests were able to enjoy themselves completely.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Joe at Anne's Washington Inn. Having our wedding there was an absolutely amazing experience. Although our families had some issues reaching Joe when trying to book rooms, when we were closer to the event, and especially while we were on the grounds he was the MOST accommodating venue owner I have ever dealt with. Anything we needed he was on in a flash. He allowed our friends and family to treat the Inn like home for the weekend. I would use this venue for ANY large gathering again in a heartbeat. Highlights include the beautiful dining room, gas fire pit, comfortable front porch, and a large lawn for a tent wedding.

'Its the best part'

Working with Joe and his team at Anne's Washington Inn was amazing. We booked more than a year in advance, though we likely didn't need to. He was super receptive when we needed to have vendor meeting at the Inn, and was often present if we had questions. Wedding weekend we had the Inn all to ourselves from setup Thursday and Friday through Sunday Brunch. I could not have been happier with using the absolutely beautiful Inn as the setting for my wedding.

A beautiful inn for a bridal shower, wedding or another event.

If you're looking for a bright open dining room that sits on a lovely spot in Saratoga Springs, try Anne's Washington Inn. Joe and his staff are very accommodating and the inn was immaculate, inviting and homey. Handicapped accessible too with a lovely sitting and/or bar area included with full kitchen.

Anne's Washington Inn could not have been a more perfect place to have our wedding. Most of our friends and family are from out of town, so it was amazing to be able to have them stay with us at the inn. Anyone that didn't stay at the inn stayed next door at the Hilton and it was like a mini family reunion for the weekend. It was so much fun having the Inn for the weekend, we enjoyed staying up into the night sitting around the fire. I loved getting ready and being able to see everyone from my window. We really felt like we were able to spend a nice amount of time with everyone because we got to see them for more than just the wedding. Not to mention Joe is so friendly and helpful to everyone, yet you wouldn't even know he was there! Definitely recommend!!

Anne's Washington Inn is a gorgeous venue full of personality at every turn. The reception space is light and airy, and the covered front porch was perfect for photos when it rained on our wedding morning. Each room has its own unique touches so it's not cookie cutter like chain hotels. Joe is unfailingly enthusiastic, friendly, and accommodating. Our only trouble was reaching him by phone...sometimes we had a hard time making contact, and our guests struggled with this too. But ultimately, on our wedding weekend everyone loved staying at Anne's Washington Inn and we had a perfect wedding that we will remember forever! And we can't wait to come back to Anne's Washington Inn for an anniversary trip one day! Thanks Joe!

What a find to have such a personable comfortable inn right in Saratoga that still feels secluded! We've lived here for twenty years and didn't realize what a treasure we had in the Washington Inn. Joe is very friendly and easygoing, perhaps a little too lax in the returning phone calls and e-mails department. We had a few guests who booked elsewhere because they didn’t get any response after several attempts. But the event itself went very smoothly and all our guests enjoyed flowing from the classy clean and bright inside to the wide porch with comfy chairs and couches, to the front lawn and gabezo, and to their rooms. And the location can’t be beat for enjoying all that downtown Saratoga and Spa Park have to offer, even on foot if guests want. We would heartily recommend the inn for any event.
