Beyond the aisle there are the vows…

We are so grateful to have had Annemarie take us on the journey towards “We do”. So many people remarked that they found the ceremony portion of our wedding so incredibly meaningful. That is mainly owing to Annemarie, and her skills in guiding the proceedings with both gravitas and grace. Bringing a blended family together. It should also be noted that Annemarie pushed us to truly think about what we both cherish & love about each other, and put that into our vows. Our day wouldn’t have been the same without her!

Personable professional

Annemarie was an absolute pleasure to work with! We had a short timeline to plan our special day and having Annemarie on our side made it easy. She is truly a professional and it shows in her planning and presentation. I especially appreciated the detailed questionnaire she uses to get to know her clients and put together a ceremony customized to us. She helped us find ways to include our dogs in the ceremony and family that were not able to be present. I would 100% recommend her to officiate your wedding day!

Fun Modern Officiant with Good Humor

Annemarie was THE perfect officiant. We couldn't have asked for a better person to collaborate with. We wanted a modern take on the wedding, and she definitely delivered. :) The ceremony is an intimate, special, and scared part of the wedding shared with our closest friends and family, and she spent the time to get to know us and brought the ceremony speech to life. My husband and I are are deeply touched by her words on our wedding day. Our guests have shared it was the best wedding ceremony they've ever attended, and this greatly had to do with working Anne Marie's magic! We are forever grateful for the love, support, humor, and the positive energy from our amazing officiant.

Best down to earth, funny wedding officiant!

Oh my goodness!
My wife and I were so grateful to have had Annemarie do our Wedding Ceremony this August!
She did my mom's memorial service a year ago, and she did such a a beautiful job talking about my mom. While looking online with my wife for the perfect non-denominational officiant, her name was on the top of the list! And i didn't have to say a word to my wife. We knew it was a no brainer to hire her!

Overflowing with love and joy!

Annemarie,

She was the perfect person to lead our ceremony of love and joy. The love my wife and I share comes from the depths of our core. We wear our heart on our sleeves and express our deepest love for one another openly.

Annemarie made our day feel as special to her as it was us, and that because it was.

Absolutely Perfect!

I've never been married before, therefore I don't know the process that other officiants use. This being said, Anne Marie's process is perfect. She gives you homework. Two, in-depth questionnaires. One to fill out alone and one to fill out as a couple. Simply going through the process of answering the questions brings you and your significant other, closer. It's almost like therapy! Anne Marie then takes your answers, your stories, and creates a beautiful, moving, heartfelt ceremony, with a touch of humor. My fiance and I had been together for 20 years, and we literally fell completely in love all over again as Anne Marie spoke. It was so intimate, beautiful and heartfelt. It could not have been more perfect. She is also a source of advice, guidance and care. I knew from the moment I heard her voice on the phone that we were in good hands. She literally takes a lead in your dance and guides you through it all. She is nurturing, full of spark, and has a passion for her art that comes clearly shining through in her delivery. Whether you are planning a huge wedding or an elopement, as we did, I highly recommend Anne Marie.

Amazing officiant!

Annemarie was everything we hoped for on our wedding day! She crafted a meaningful, personal, perfect ceremony. She spoke to our friends and family and took our personal stories and values to make everything feel unique and meaningful. She also did an amazing job incorporating my father (who recently passed) into the ceremony in a way that was heartfelt but not too overwhelming. Everything we hoped it would be!

Annemarie exceeded our expectations! She was super flexible and was always quick to answer our many questions. She also provided amazing recommendations with location and photographer. She ensured that our elopement was stress free and lighthearted. We also love that she made everyone (the 3 witnesses and our pup) feel very included in the ceremony. Annemarie also took the time to read and hear about how we are as a couple and as individuals, which was completely captured in the vows. We are thrilled to have had Annemarie as our Officiant!

couldn't imagine a better officiant than Annemarie!

Annemarie was one of the most integral parts of making our small ceremony so special. We debated having a Justice of the Peace ceremony but fortunately found Annemarie and it was the best decision to go with her! She made the process and ceremony easy, personal, and extra special. Expectations more than met!

Professional wedding photographer here. The first thing you should know is that as a wedding professional for over a decade, I have VERY high standards when it comes to working with others in this industry. If you want the short version of my review, here you go: You can stop searching for your wedding officiant now, you just found her.

While most of you are here looking for your wedding officiant, I recently hired Annemarie to be the officiant for my mother's memorial service. Two different types of ceremony, but the skill set required is the same and I'm certain my experience with Annemarie is relevant to you.

My siblings and I recently lost our mother to Alzheimer's disease. We had a very short amount of time to pull everything together and were frankly daunted by the task at hand. Thank goodness we stumbled on Annemarie! I was initially drawn to Annemarie by the warm feeling I got from the photos of her on her website. I can confirm that the same warmth carries over in person. Annemarie was absolutely wonderful to work with. She gave us just the right amount of guidance to get the info she needed to put together the memorial service for our mother. I worried that I wouldn't be able to convey my feelings and memories in a way that would allow Annemarie to deliver a service that would properly honor the memory of our mother. But oh man, did she deliver! The service was absolutely incredible and was just the closure we needed to move on. Everyone I spoke with after the service made a comment on how it had been one of the nicest services they have ever attended.

As a professional wedding photographer in my home state of Vermont. I work with wedding officiants every weekend and I just have to say that Annemarie is top-tier.

Annemarie is absolutely amazing!!

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing Annemarie was for our wedding! Not only did she make our ceremony so perfect that all of our guests were asking where we found her but she was also there for my husband and I through the entire process of pre-wedding. My mom passed away 3 weeks for the wedding so I had a lot going on before the wedding day and the support we received from Annemarie was so amazing. She was able to customize our ceremony to add in an honoring of my mom and provided emotional support throughout one of the hardest times of my life leading up to the best day of my life! Additionally, Annemarie helped both my husband and I with our anxiety of having all of the attention on us during the ceremony! We were both SO nervous to have all eyes on us but Annemarie talked us through everything and made the ceremony perfect in every way. I honestly couldn’t recommend Annemarie enough. Thank you Annemarie for everything!

Truly an amazing person!

Annemarie was such a breath of fresh air and truly wonderful to work with. She helped us create a ceremony that was heartfelt, humorous, personable, and just uniquely "us". We got many compliments from our guests about how unique and enjoyable the ceremony was, and how much they enjoyed the energy that Annemarie brought to it. She was very flexible and available to us throughout the entire process, and we instantly felt so much trust in her from our very first phone call. There was so much that we didn't know about the ceremony (how to go about exchanging rings, writing vows, obtaining our marriage license, etc.) And she was incredibly helpful in guiding us throughout it all, and provided us with a number of unique ideas to incorporate into the wedding ceremony. You really can't go wrong with Annemarie!

I can't tell you how many compliments we received from our guests regarding Annemarie! So many of them told us how this was the first wedding they've actually cried at and how tailored the ceremony was to us as a couple. She was charming and funny—she navigated between the light moments and the serious ones with ease. Having Annemarie officiate our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. She is amazing at what she does. She guided us through the whole process with such ease. She really did the work to get to know us and make our ceremony so unique and personal. It was so much better than I could have ever imagined. Working with Annemarie was such a incredible experience. Lovely ceremony, lovely person!

Annemarie is not only just a lovely person and made a beautiful ceremony for us, but she went above and beyond! We had a small Covid "micro" wedding, so we did not have a "coordinator." Annemarie took into hand many small tasks that a coordinator would have done. She eased our minds and her ceremony was beautiful! We love Annemarie!

Energetic, up-beat, professional, on-time, easy to work with!

Annemarie was quite phenomenal to work with. She took her time and put in a lot of work to make sure she gets to know you, your values, and what you're truly looking for. In our case, we wanted a minimalist elopement with close to no frills and her process allowed us to communicate that.

Amazing officiant!

We booked Annemarie to officiate our wedding and we could not have been happier with our experience working with her. Her communication was excellent throughout the planning process and she took the time to really get to know us as a couple. Annemarie is sweet, thoughtful and completely in tune with what her couples are looking for in their wedding ceremony. Best officiant ever!

First off, I think we all agree that this past year was a rough year for all, but believe me when I say that our wedding planning was bombarded left and right by all manners of unforeseen events. There were so many changes, so many hurdles, but each time. Annemarie was right there, in our corner to support us and see us right.

I can not even recall the number of times I shared with my (now) husband how thankful I was for her all-around awesomeness. Annemarie was prompt with every response, very communicative, kind and heartfelt in every interaction. She truly was very protective of us and did her very best in helping to pull off what was a very beautiful ceremony at the Salish Lodge.

If you are looking for an officiant who will have your back and feel like part of the family, who really puts in the effort and cares, then I feel 100% confident recommending this wonderful lady for all of your officiant needs!

An amazing officiant with an eye for details

Annemarie is an impeccable officiant. She put in tons of work pre-wedding, working with us and guiding us to the perfect ceremony for us with well thought out questions about us, our relationship, and our family. We wre planning out wedding in a VERY truncated timetable and it felt like there were three of us planning it with Annemarie's help. On-site leading up to the wedding she provided valuable insights for our live stream (we were getting married with a remote audience due to Covid-19) and video recording with respect to angle, background, how close the three of us would be to the camera, etc. She took a ton of stress out of our day by managing the wedding's flow in the final minutes before the ceremony. She is extraordinarily professional and has her craft DOWN! During the ceremony Annemarie was conscientious, aware, and took all the right cues. To make it easy for everyone on the livestream to hear and to allow us to be maskless while respecting social distancing requirements she positioned herself away from us, but right next to the video cameras, so that the audio came through clearly, ensuring our audience was able to take in every word. The day went off without any problems, largely thanks to Annemarie's preparedness, professionalism, and poise. All of the guests we spoke with afterwards spoke effusively about Annemarie too. We couldn't have gotten luckier to have her as our officiant.

Annemarie: The best at curating a personalized and one of a kind ceremony

Your search should truly stop here, with Annemarie. There are no amount of words I could use to express how grateful I am that my husband and I found her and booked her for our wedding. Terrific Original Ceremony

When we first met with Annemarie, we were really unsure what we wanted for our ceremony. By our wedding day, thanks to her experience, we had a celebration that was unique and utterly perfect. We were referred to Annemarie by our wedding planner who spoke very highly of her. When looking for an officiant, we wanted one that would make the ceremony interesting, fun, and not just something to sit through till you got to the party. Annemarie was the perfect choice! Can't praise Annemarie Enough!

Annemarie is truly special. We hired her for our wedding last weekend and couldn’t have been happier with our decision. My husband and I knew the first time we met her that she was the person we wanted to lead our wedding, and she made the entire process of planning our ceremony stress free and easy. In preparation for our wedding, Annemarie assigned both of us “homework” to get to know us better and to better know the details of our relationship. The questionnaires are VERY thorough, but once you see the finished product in the ceremony draft; you’ll understand that this is a person who makes a true effort to get you as a couple and it absolutely shows during the ceremony!
We had multiple people tell us after the ceremony how fun, heartfelt, and joyous it was. We would hands down recommend her to anyone we know getting married.

Annemarie is AMAZING! At our first meeting, even before we chose Annemarie as our officiant, she asked us so many questions about our wedding and gave us recommendations for other vendors. Surprise! It's a wedding!

My husband and I were planning an engagement party that was actually a surprise wedding, and our good friend who was going to act as our officiant was diagnosed with cancer and not well enough to make it. I was given Annemarie's name by our photographer a week before the wedding - A WEEK! Talk about stressful! Annemarie was able to get to the heart of who we are as a couple and write a beautiful ceremony that was special and specific to us in that short period of time. She was also an amazing sport, pretending to be my friend from culinary school and fooling our friends and family left and right, all the way up to the fake toast she called that was actually the beginning of the ceremony. I cannot say enough about how amazing Annemarie is, and we both feel so fortunate to have had her as a part of our crazy, happy day.

One of the best!!!

Annemarie hands down was one of the best vendor decisions we made when it came to our wedding. After being a bridesmaid in a wedding Annemarie officiated, once we got engaged we knew right away we wanted to reach out to her. Our first meeting with Annemarie was fun, lighthearted, and laid out the groundwork of what her services would provide. We left that night knowing we didn't want anyone else to be in charge of the most important part of our wedding day. During our engagement, we had 3 per-marital sessions with Annemarie that we are so glad we did. She brought up topics that maybe we had talked about before, but asked deeper questions to help us have more in depth conversations. Neither of us had any sort of counseling before so we weren't sure what to expect, but it was never awkward and truly was helpful. Months prior to the wedding, she took our many back and forth e-mails and was always so prompt with ceremony edits. For our rehearsal, Annemarie made it fun for everyone while making sure everyone knew what they were doing. And when it comes to the day of our wedding, I look back now and say that the ceremony was my favorite part of the day. The ceremony Annemarie wrote for us felt so personal an so "us" and encompassed everything we ever wanted. We cannot recommend Annemarie enough!!!

In a word, Annemarie is PHENOMENAL!!

Our experience with Annemarie was truly wonderful! I don't have adequate wording to describe how much we appreciate her! From our first meeting, there was just something about her that stood out. She was the perfect combination of compassion and professionalism. Once we met her, we knew she would be the best person to create our ceremony! Ceremony was everything I could have asked for and more. Annemarie is something special!

Looking back on our wedding day, the entire ceremony stands out as the biggest highlight and that is largely thanks to Annemarie. Annemarie crafted a ceremony that so perfectly represented our relationship and our love for one another. During the ceremony she made us laugh, she made us cry, she made us feel comfortable, and she made our love feel so special. She listened so carefully to our wants and needs for the ceremony and brought them to life in such a beautiful and eloquent way.

Countless guests came up to us and our parents telling us that our ceremony was the best wedding ceremony they had ever witnessed. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house!

I would highly recommend working with Annemarie if you're looking for someone to work with who is both professional and personable. We feel so fortunate to have been married by Annemarie!

Fantastic! I had the pleasure of working alongside Annemarie at a wedding in Port Gamble. She is exceptional. Her warmth, lively personality and upbeat vibe energized the whole crowd and made the entire ceremony interesting and engaging. The bride and groom loved her! I read a lot of websites of officiants available in the Seattle area. I kept coming back to Annemarie's. She quickly responded to my initial email and I knew from the start, she was the one I wanted. I didn't even contact another. From the start, she was professional, positive, caring and warm. My now husband was equally impressed upon meeting her. The ceremony she created was fantastic. It included everything we wanted. As I was out of state at the time, we corresponded via email. Always prompt replies, She took the time to get to know us and what we wanted. Annemarie is an absolute delight! Where do so even begin...I had gone to a good friends wedding last year and their ceremony was so touching that both myself and my fiancé at the time were in tears. Annemarie did such a beautiful job with our wedding ceremony. We are not religious and didn't have any strong traditions to pull from, which can leave you feeling unmoored. Annemarie helped us to craft a meaningful ceremony that captured us so well, and going through the process helped me learn more about our relationship and made me appreciate what we have even more. So many guests told me how moved they were, and several assumed that we were long-time friends of Annemarie, she just knew us so well. In fact, my mother had to scrap most of her toast because "well, Annemarie just said it all".

In addition to the beautiful ceremony, Annemarie was professional and responsive and thoughtful throughout the planning. She helped herd the cats for our rehearsal, managed the kids we had in our ceremony, and on the wedding day she helped everything run smoothly. It helped us relax and be present which was exactly what we wanted. I feel lucky to have found such a caring, funny, smart person to marry us.

Hello Annemarie!
I was so happy to finally meet you yesterday and when Dawn and I were taking photos in the bedroom, I heard you arrive. I said to Dawn, "That's Annemarie! She's here!" And I felt so excited!
Months back when Dave and I had taken our original script of our ceremony to a local coffee shop to review, we read it together and both of us cried. We knew then that you were going to make it incredible. We wondered-if your orchestrated words and ideas taken from our work sheets evoked that response in us then, what kind of emotional messes were we going to be on the actual day?
I knew all along that what you delivered for us was going to create the feelings we were looking to come away with from our ceremony.
Yesterday, I recognized much of the written ceremony that I had reviewed-but there was more. And it only worked to further cultivate the feelings of love, togetherness, closeness, happiness, and family. As I write this to you now, back at home in Vancouver, I'm beginning to cry. In a very, very good way!
Annemarie, you are so very gifted at what you do. Dave and I are so pleased with how you were with all of us yesterday. Dave has mentioned several times how grateful he was to have you know what to do to organize the details and make it all happen. You know the questions to ask to determine what it important to people and you have a way of happily making those things take place. You create the best possibilities for your couples and their families. We all talked about how much we loved your vibrance and energy last night and Abbie asked how I found you.

Now that things are slowing down after the wedding and honeymoon, Vince and I have had a lot of time to reflect on our wedding. The whole day feels like a dream and our ceremony was perfect. We laughed and and cried (a long with our guests) and got so lost in each other and in the moment. We can't thank you enough for making it so special. We are still getting so many complements. We hear that people could feel the genuine love and joy shared between Vince and I and the two families. I have a good friend of my moms who is photographer and has been to many weddings say that our ceremony was the best she has been to and that she has never been to one that was so heartfelt. We also have some people say that it allowed them to reflect on their own marriages and remember why they made a commitment to their significant others in the first place. Simply stated, Annemarie did an outstanding job on our wedding ceremony! We received so many wonderful compliments on the ceremony that she wrote and performed for us! We had multiple people tell us our ceremony was the most beautiful, personal and genuine wedding ceremony they've ever attended! In fact, my Uncle (74 years old) said he's been to a lot of weddings over the years and ours was second to none! Annemarie did an absolutely fabulous job creating our personalized wedding ceremony. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple and all of our guests commented on how beautiful, intimate, and personal our ceremony was. There was not a dry eye in the house! She made us feel comfortable every step of the way and provided great advice, while still honoring our ideas. We were so happy with all the work she did for us and could not recommend her more highly.

Annemarie officiated our outdoor wedding on one of the hottest days in 2016. She is an expert in her field which was made evident when she kept us cool as cucumbers during our ceremony. The ceremony that she crafted for us was so beautiful and authentic. Annemarie’s process of developing our ceremony involved interviewing each of us separately and providing unique options for the final ceremony. To capture items that we may have missed about each other she reached out to our friends and family and included statements from them in the ceremony.

Her craftsmanship of the ceremony was so fun - she not only took us on a journey to capture events from the day we met to the day we got married, but also brought our guests along on for the journey as well when she delivered the ceremony. She radiated warmth and genuine thoughts throughout the entire ceremony. Annemarie really loves what she does, and her personality shines through! We actually had more feedback from our guests about how good our officiant and ceremony was than the food and party - when does that ever happen?! Annemarie made the ceremony fun but sweet, lighthearted but engaging. We couldn't have imagined a nicer ceremony, and she was so incredibly easy to work with.

Don't hesitate to hire Annemarie! We were looking for a more non-traditional wedding ceremony as neither of us are very religious and Annemarie was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She does do religious ceremony's too and she is a very genuine, professional, and endearing person to work with. Her personality above all else should be the reason to hire her. We couldn't of asked for a better officiant and we were honored to have her as part of the next chapter of my wife and I's life.

I will warn you that her "homework" is extensive but trust me, it is well worth it. The ceremony she put together was a work of art and the effort she puts into crafting a ceremony that caters to you is outstanding.

I feel like when all was said and done we didn't just hire another vendor, we hired a friend! There are plenty of other officiant's out there but I can guarantee there are none quite like Annemarie!

Annemarie officiated our elopement and we couldn't have been more pleased. Not only did she make our small ceremony fun she made sure it was personal and memorable. If you are looking for the perfect officiant... Look no more. Annemarie is truly the most amazing officiant and so much more. She organized our whole ceremony for us, put everyone at ease and most importantly, made it fun!
The first officiant we found canceled one month prior due to a family emergency. With less than a month, we called Annemarie-it was the best decision we've made with our wedding planning! Within the first phone call we knew she was the one. She took all my stress away. She was so fun to talk to and completely took care of everything. She sent us a few packets to get to know us better and share our story. I don't know how she did it but she sent us the most perfect customized script for our ceremony. This woman is amazing! All of a sudden every bit of stress I had for the wedding was gone. We didn't have any idea what we wanted to say for our vows and all of a sudden we had these perfect, customized vows for our wedding.
We weren't able to have a rehearsal because of the holidays and family not being in town. Once again, Annemarie saved us! She showed up early the day of our wedding (after fighting crazy Seattle traffic with the Seahawks playing!) She told everyone where to be and what to do. Everything went even better than we ever imagined it could be. I'm someone who doesn't like to be in front of big crowds- yet Annemarie made it so relaxing and enjoyable. The guests were crying & laughing. She made our ceremony sentimental & sincere yet fun & happy! I don't think there was one person who didn't come up to me to tell me what an amazing officiant we had. Everyone ranted and raved about her for days after. She is so passionate and so gifted at what she does. We are so incredibly thankful we chose Annemarie to be a huge part of our big day. My grandmother said "In all my years, I've never been to such an enjoyable and perfect wedding ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful!" And she was so right.

Annemarie was the first and only officiant we spoke with for our wedding. It was clear from the moment we met her that she was exactly what we were looking for in an officiant--warm, engaging, and funny. Through a lengthy questionnaire she got to know us individually and as a couple, and then created a beautiful, hyper-personalized ceremony that showcased our relationship. She had several excellent suggestions for ceremony elements, such as an oathing stone and travel box, and we loved having the opportunity to diverge from a traditional wedding structure. We received the first draft of the ceremony in July for our November wedding, which gave us plenty of time to think through it and make tweaks (all pretty minor, as she pretty much hit the nail on the head with the first draft).

On our wedding day she arrived well ahead of time and made sure everything was running on time, the venue had everything set up, and our wedding party knew the plan and was ready to go. Our guests loved her and we continue to receive compliments on our ceremony, and I know we'll continue to treasure her words for years to come!

Our first officiant dropped off the face of the earth one month prior to the wedding. We scrambled and found Annemarie. On very short notice she met with us and listened to our needs. We quickly liked her more than or first pick!

The first visit we covered the style, theme, and feel of the wedding that we wanted. Annemarie was very attentive to our needs and had many helpful suggestions. She then gave us some homework to fill out. It had many in depth questions about our history and relationship together. The more information you put in here the better she is able to put together a script for the ceremony.

We absolutely loved the script that Annemarie came up with. It was better then we had hoped for! All it needed was a bit of tweaking in the processional to accommodate a special request. With that we were good to go!

Annemarie was early to the event. She was vivacious and eager to make everything perfect while still being attentive to all of our needs and requests. She arranged all of the cues with the processional, DJ, and photographer. Once she showed up, we didn't have to do anything at all other than look good and pay attention!

The ceremony was absolutely wonderful! There were a few tiny hiccups with children in attendance and our repeating of the vows, but Annemarie handled them with ease and grace.

We love her so much we will use her for our baby blessing ceremony as well!

Words cannot express how happy we are with the job Annemarie did as the officiant of our wedding. Even two months later, our guests are still raving about the great job she did. She did a great job capturing our personalities and as a result, crafted a memorable ceremony complete with some rituals but it wasn't so drawn out like some ceremonies can be. Due to us being out of town most of the time, all of our communication (except for the initial meeting) was done thru email. Her prompt replies made our lives easier and during the planning process, we knew that we didn't have to worry about this important part of our wedding day.

We asked Annemarie to perform an upbeat and most of all, joyous ceremony. She really delivered. After a bit of discussion and emails, she wrote a beautiful speech for us. She even found a way to include coffee and fancy chocolates in to the ceremony for extra personalization. Beforehand, when our nerves were aflutter, she was bouncing around making sure everything was ready and would go smoothly. During the reception later our guests kept heaping compliments on the amazing job she did officiating. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to tell any of my friends to book her for their wedding.

Having been to many, many weddings over the years, you basically only remember whether you had a good time or not, and maybe a few other details. We really love working with Annemarie! From the first moment we met her my fiancé (now husband) and I knew she was the one for us! She has this presence that make you take notice. We recently (June 13) had Annemarie officiate our wedding at the Salish Lodge in Snoqualmie. We had to plan the entire wedding from out of state, which was definitely anxiety-inducing. By the time we actually met Annemarie on the day before our wedding, it was almost like meeting an old friend. Our ceremony was exactly what we were looking for, everything went perfectly well, and I'm still in shock in regards to how wonderful it turned out.

I cannot stress enough how great it was working with her. She took so much of her time getting to know the both of us, and tailored our ceremony to our personalities so well! She was extremely helpful not only on the day of the wedding, but throughout all of the months leading up to it.

You will definitely want to find an officiant that you feel comfortable with, so if you are browsing officiants in the Seattle area, STOP HERE! At least give her a phone call to see if you think she'll be a good fit, I can guarantee you that it will not be a waste of your time.

Annemarie was referred to us by my dad, who is a wedding DJ and has worked with Annemarie a number of times. She totally exceeded my expectations in terms of what an officiant provides. My fiance and I met her for coffee a few months before our wedding. She asked us a few questions about how we met, what our relationship is like, and had us fill out a very detailed survey. I wasn't sure where all this was going until I read the ceremony script. We're not religious, so we wanted our ceremony to be about us as a couple. When she sent it over, I couldn't make it two lines in without crying. How could a woman who just met us know us so well? She totally nailed our sense of humor, without sacrificing the sentimental tone. The day of the wedding, she was so calm and collected. My fiance forgot his vows in the hotel room, and she made all the people who were worried about time feel rest assured things would continue to go smoothly. It's rare that your friends and family actually enjoy the ceremony portion of a wedding and talk about it afterwards, but all we heard were rave reviews about Annemarie, our hand-written vows, and how moving and hilarious the ceremony was. I wish Annemarie could marry us every year on our anniversary. Of all the things I've since forgotten about my wedding day, I'll never forget how special the ceremony was.

We discovered Annemarie through our wedding coordinator at Salish Lodge. She came highly recommended and still exceeded our expectations.
From the first cup of coffee with her we felt connected and we knew that we had found the perfect person to officiate our wedding ceremony.

My husband and I loved working with Annemarie as our wedding officiant! We interviewed a few others, but knew instantly when we met Annemarie that she was the one. She is so friendly, bubbly, confident, and reassuring. She's a true professional with many years of experience, and that shined through in her personal interactions with us and during our incredibly special ceremony.

Several months before our wedding, we also did three private coaching sessions with Annemarie in our home that were so enriching and helpful. She posed questions to us that made us think about our future together, and prompted important discussions. We learned what each other really needs in a partner, and how we can be the best partners for each other. Even through we thought we were prepared for marriage prior to the sessions, our time with Annemarie made us feel even more confident.

Annemarie got to know us very well through the sessions, and she was able to write a very personal ceremony for us. She sent us a draft well before our wedding day, and was very responsive and flexible as we worked together to finalize the ceremony to our liking. At the rehearsal, she took charge and gave everyone specific directions to make sure the ceremony went perfectly; again, that is where her experience with hundreds (maybe thousands?) of weddings really helped!

The ceremony itself was the highlight of our wedding day. Just about all of our friends and family cried, as did both of us. I can't imagine having had anyone else to make our marriage official but Annemarie. Don't miss out on hiring her to make your big day even more special than you could hope!

Annemarie was such a joy to work with, and I don't think I have enough words to express how great our ceremony was because of her! Not only is she professional and really knows her stuff, but she's sweet, caring, and has a wonderful energy about her. Our 15 month old daughter (she was 9 months old when we met Annemarie), liked her right away and Annemarie was so gentile and sweet with her. That's when we immediately knew that she would be officiating our wedding!

She worked very closely with me during the planning phase of our wedding, and answered all questions that I had and even offered additional suggestions and ideas that I hadn't thought about! My husband and I went into this with no stress or worry, because we knew that it would be "all good, and at the end of the day we would be so very married" as Annemarie would say. I am so thankful to know Annemarie and so thankful that we got to share our special day with her!

The first meeting my fiancé and I had with Annemarie, we knew she was the one for us. We hit it off right away. It felt like she understood exactly what we wanted for our ceremony: personalized, not too religious, entertaining, and truly "us". It also felt like she really understood who we were as individuals and as a couple. She was able to offer amazing insight and guidance throughout our planning process that started by recommending other vendors to us that would meet our needs. Through Annemarie, we found our wonderful florist and photographer, and couldn't have asked for a better team the day of.

On the day of the wedding, Annemarie made sure everyone knew what they were doing and where they should be at all times prior to the ceremony and during the ceremony. I never imagined going through my wedding day with my only concern being that I don't trip down the aisle, but Annemarie made sure that that would be my only concern all day! I didn't have to worry about anything else, which allowed me to focus on having a wonderful day.

Her ceremony was perfect from entrance to exit. It couldn't have expressed or explained the relationship my fiancé and I have any better. She has this amazing presence that draws the audience to her, and this incredible sense of humor that will have all your guests giggling and smiling at all the right times. By the time we made it through our vows and the ring exchange, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. She also found a way to incorporate our dogs into the ceremony!

If you truly want a personalized, heartfelt ceremony from a wonderful lady that takes the time to get to know you and your fiancé as a couple, and also as individuals, you can't go wrong with Annemarie.

Annemarie was recommended to us by Willows Lodge in Woodinville.....thank God! She was simply awesome! Annemarie made a valiant effort to get to know my wife and I AND our families, including them in her message. She was dependable, affordable and very entertaining as well. All of our friends and family just loved her. Do yourself a favor and get in contact with her to do your wedding! She is fantastic!

Annemarie was an amazing officiant! From our initial meeting with Annemarie we knew she was a great fit for us as a couple. Annemarie is a warm, confident, bubbly and passionate officiant, who truly believes in the celebration of couples and the journey they are about to embark on. To start, Annemarie had both my fiancé and me fill out an individual and a couples questionnaire. At first I thought this was a bit daunting, but it was a great experience to look more deeply into our relationship. From this Annemarie wrote a beautiful ceremony that was truly unique and inspiring. From my (brides) perspective these are the top three things I loved about Annemarie; 1) Annemarie presented herself in a professional manner and spoke with conviction and care when officiating our wedding, 2) Annemarie took extra time and really listened to what we wanted for our wedding 3) Annemarie is the ultimate cheerleader for love – she made the day joyous for both my husband and me. I cannot say enough good things about Annemarie! She is amazing at what she does. She puts a lot of time in effort into her work and it shows. Our ceremony was everything we wanted. She made our ceremony sound like she had know us for years and it was beautiful and intimate. I will recommend Annemarie to everyone who asks!
