2021 Family Reunion

Shawn McManus from Anne Marie's catering was a joy to work with. Shawn walked me thru the menus, was so patient and was always available to me. All our meal choices were delicious and the staff was professional and friendly.
I would love to hire them for our next event in San Antonio!

Absolute perfection!

Ruben and his team were absolutely amazing! They were so easy to work with and on top of everything. I appreciated Ruben coming out when we did our final walk through. Then when the day of the wedding came he made sure everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone raved how good the food was and how it was the best wedding food they had ever had. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is doing a wedding because they made sure every aspect was exactly how we wanted it. Such amazing service is so hard to find

Delicious Food and Amazing Service

We loved working with Anne Marie's! We met Shawn at several open houses in San Antonio, what drew us to them is that they always had different food at each event! Shawn was so great to work with! We had a tasting for two and couldn't decide, so we ended up bringing both of our parents and my brother to help make the final decision for a separate tasting, we had so much food to taste and were able to take all the leftovers home from the tasting. I kept throwing more things at Shawn to add to our catering, like ice cream (for the brownie bar) and street tacos for our late night snack (which were AMAZING!!! Highly recommend). Everyone LOVED the food especially the tacos. We were also able to take home all the leftover food from the reception! We were also able to rent linen, chargers, dinnerware, and silverware from them so it made planning so much easier!! Anne Marie's is the best! I can't wait to use them again in the future when I need catering

Exceptional service at an affordable price

Shawn at Anne Marie’s was so incredibly nice and easy to work with, and I cannot recommend Anne Marie’s enough! They were so accommodating, starting with our tasting when Chef Robbie offered to make our meal gluten-free without compromising on taste or quality. The tasting portions were very large and delicious and the presentation and information given at the tasting helped us answer so many questions we had. When we had to postpone our wedding in April due to coronavirus, they re-scheduled with us on our new date with no issues. During the final call with Shawn, he went above and beyond to ensure that our gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian guests would be accommodated and he worked with us when we had to lower our guest headcount. During our event, the staff was professional, friendly and operated in a safe manner consistent with the social gathering guidelines in place. Passed appetizers and water were sent to the wedding party while we were taking pictures so we didn’t miss out on them circulating during cocktail hour. Our plated dinner was served efficiently and was so fresh and delicious. I’ve received so many compliments on the meal (chicken with mornay sauce, basil risotto that I STILL think about, and roasted veggies) from taste, to presentation, to portion size. They also made brownies and churros as our “groom’s cake”. We looked at a handful of caterers and Anne Marie’s service and price could not be beat. We also hired bartenders and rented our linens and china from them. Shawn was one of those vendors that I enjoyed working with so much I was sad when the wedding was over. I’ll just have to think of an excuse to throw another catered party in the future!

Wonderful Choice!

Deciding on a caterer for our daughter's wedding was not difficult once I spoke with Holly. What a delight she is! From the first conversation, I knew everything would be fine. I wasn't fully prepared to understand all of the details that had to be decided when I started this journey. Thankfully, Holly is a very experienced planner with great vision, and she led us on this path like the pro that she is. Not only menu choices, but color scheme, table decor, florals...she does it all. We had the tasting in June, with table settings we chose, everything was delicious. Holly was always available to discuss any changes needed, and offered advice and suggestions along the way. On the day of the wedding, Holly and staff did an excellent job of setting up the venue. When we walked in it, it was just magical...more than we had ever imagined. And there she was, making sure it was all running smoothly. The staff was also wonderful, very professional and polite. I placed my trust in Holly and Anne Marie's Catering, they went above and beyond. I cannot thank them enough for making Loren and Tyler's wedding day so very special.

Exceptional and unforgettable

ACTUALLY THE BEST EVER! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH OF JUST HOW INCREDIBLE ANNE MARIE'S CATERING IS and how our entire wedding day would not have been what it was without them. The team, led by the extraordinary Holly, was all simply incredible! Every single TASTY detail was thought about and executed to perfection. And I mean, THE SERVICE was just outstanding! Everyone really went above and beyond in every single way and was just exceptional. Everything was so elegant and we are STILL getting compliments to this day! I don't think I will ever be able to thank Anne Marie's enough for all that they did for our wedding! Anne Marie's was so wonderful to work with. They allowed us to come in for a tasting on our own time. They rolled with the last minute and unexpected things such as a last minute cake cutting, left overs, dietary needs etc. Having now had a wedding with them was ideal. They were also VERY budget friendly and had a variety of options at every price point!

Amazing Food & Service! Highly Recommend!

Anne Marie’s was one of our best vendor selections!! We had the chef-tossed pasta bar and our guests absolutely LOVED the food! I have several family members with Celiac Disease who will get very sick if even a microscopic speck of gluten makes it’s way into their food. They basically cannot ever eat out because 90% of restaurants do not understand how to properly avoid cross contamination. Well, I had rave reviews from them. No one got sick!! The food was not only properly prepared, it was DELICIOUS!! A great value for the price. High end food. We received so many compliments over the chef-tossed approach! Everyone loved to watch the food be made and since the pasta was freshly tossed, the food tasted so fresh! Food was really important to my fiancé and I and we know wholeheartedly that we made the right choice to go with Anne Marie’s!

Not just your average caterer

I've worked security at 100's of weddings and know many caterers. Anne Marie's is by far the best. That's why I hired them for my daughter's wedding two months ago. Holly is amazing and so are the chefs and servers. The food is awesome and prepared top-notch. But they go way beyond just the food. The service is great and they help you with other things such as set up, decorations and ideas, coordinating set up at the venue, and much more. They truly take the time and effort to make your event special and memorable. Thanks Holly we love ya like family

Anne Marie's Catering truly helped make our wedding day a beautiful success! They are the absolute best! Our wedding was over a month ago and we still hear great feedback on how exceptionally delicious the food was and how promptly all of our guests received their food. We had a seated dinner of over 260+ guests and we were amazed by how awesome and smoothly everything went. This was the best experience of the entire wedding process! Anne Marie's staff went above and beyond in so many ways! The staff was flexible with changes in our schedule. Many guests commented on the wonderful food and organized catering team. Though we thought we were only paying for food and the serving of that food, we received so much more. The staff was efficient, helpful and cheerful the entire evening! Can't say enough good things about this company!

I’m in the food service industry from out of town so it was extremely important for me to find the best caterer I could for my daughter’s wedding. After a lot of research other than reading reviews I contacted Holly. From our first meeting through the wedding she was nothing but professional. And the food, service, and food was spectacular. Anne Marie's is without a doubt an amazing vendor. Shawn went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. He even brought us drinks and ensured that my husband and I were both fed and happy. He was super easy to work with despite our many changes, deletions, additions, etc and he managed to keep track of it all. He was also priceless when we did the walkthrough at the venue. He asked questions we would have never thought to ask and made sure that us, and our day of coordinator (it was her first event at the McNay), were comfortable and that we all were on the same page. The food at the event was delicious. Everyone raved about the food and service. They have a restaurant and we plan on going there when we can because their food is exceptional.

Anne Marie's Catering was amazing, they practically did my whole wedding. From the ceremony chairs, table linens, bar setup, bartenders, china, glasses, cake cutting service, the list goes on y'all!! Matt was very nice from the beginning of setting up the venue for my wedding renewals, to the day of. He was always available when I needed to talk to him on the phone or in person. I appreciate everything he did for me and my husband to make our day special. The venue looked beautiful and his staff did an amazing job. Working with Holly was like working with family! She was so easy to talk to and so knowledgeable about all the details we needed for my son's wedding! She made planning the menu and bar service totally effortless. And when Hurricane Harvey threatened on August 26th, Holly and her team showed up and provided delicious food and impeccable service throughout the evening. Anne Marie’s catered our daughter’s wedding and everything was exceptional. Our niece highly recommended them and referred us to them since they had catered her son’s wedding.

Our very first visit to Ann Marie’s was a tasting for 4 and we found the appetizers and food to be absolutely delicious. We were impressed from the very beginning and working with Shawn though the entire planning process was a pleasure. He handled everything promptly and efficiently for us. Every email, phone call or text was returned as soon as possible. If Shawn was out of office, he would notify us and another staff person would repond. When we had changes, additions or questions about the food, bar, linens or any services offered by them, it was never a problem.

Anne Marie’s served appetizers, entrees, and beverages for approximately 170 guests. The food was exceptional and Shawn and the staff were outstanding. They made sure all the guests were taken care of and they paid close attention to all the details so we had no worries. Any leftovers, including cake, was packed in pans and boxes. No cleanup involved for us. We could relax and enjoy ourselves. We also used the bar service which we were very pleased with. We had beer and wine only and it worked great. Many guests complimented us and the caterer for the outstanding food and service.

We highly recommend Anne Marie’s Catering and we appreciate each and everyone for making our daughter’s wedding a very special and stress free day.

If you want to mininimize your stress and actuallly enjoy planning your wedding, Anne Marie's is your perfect partner, specifically Holly. We engaged the catering services of Anne Marie's several months before my daughter's wedding, so we knew we were in capable hands from the beginning. Despite the many alterations we made along the way, Holly was the rock on which we leaned throughout the process. Every email received prompt attention, and there was no question we asked that Holly regarded as frivolous or unimportant. She was able to address all of our concerns with patience and professionalism. Although we had several dietary needs that required attention, Holly handled all of our requests with graciousness. If we were stressed, she was calm. Every detail from food choices to linen selections to china options and serviing staff--everything was perfect. We highly recommend Anne Marie's, and, by the way, the food was delicious!

Planning a wedding from out of state has additional challenges however Holly made the process much less stressful than we had anticipated. From our initial meeting through the preliminary menu selection, the tasting and then the final details, Holly guided us with her experience and professional recommendations. She was a pleasure to work with and was always responsive to our questions, very creative and flexible with our wishes, collaborated with the other vendors and truly excited to share in our daughter’s vision. We had a sit-down dinner at the Kendall Plantation and the sheer elegance of the formal place settings established an exquisite atmosphere. The food was delicious beginning with the passed hors d’oeuvres, the Ancho smoked beef entrée received rave reviews, an assortment of scrumptious mini desserts and the Late-Night Snack/Brisket Taco Carving Station was a huge success! Anne Marie’s Catering staff was extraordinarily professional and very attentive throughout the entire event. Thank you, Holly and Anne Marie’s Catering for providing our daughter and son in law with such an amazing celebration that far surpassed all our expectations!

We did about 4 tastings -- all delicious -- before choosing Anne Marie's. Bottom line, their food tasted the best, and it was very clear that they do lots of weddings, and offer a number of choices for china, glassware, table coverings, etc. Holly was our contact, and had a delightful personality full of heart-and-humor. I also liked that they offered "real" food, that people recognized, ate and complimented.

We're using Anne Marie's for our wedding in May, and we couldn't be more impressed so far. Matt is lightning-fast at responding to requests for info, and we were blown away by the quality of the food at our tasting. The rooms are lovely, and I like that everything is included in the packages they quote you, from table linens to centerpieces. I'll update my review once the wedding is done, but so far I am very happy with the level of service we've received.

We had our reception of about 100 in the Starcrest Room - only 90 people showed up, and it felt a bit snug, but there was still a perfect amount of distance between tables, etc. Our guests raved about the Barbeque plate - as we did, too - people who didn't even like Barbeque loved it. Service was excellent and attentive, and as the Bride and Groom we always had our own places set with food and drink. The decorating was perfect - understated and elegant, and Matt took it in stride when as a stressed bride the day of, I handed him a box with signs and other decorations which were placed throughout the room perfectly.

We had an open bar with a set limit, which we never reached, and were sent a check for the unused amount. Also, at the end of the night all of our leftovers were neatly packed, including our cake, and ready to take home. We ate for about a week thanks to this! I would definitely recommend Matt and Anne Marie's catering to anyone seeking a beautiful, elegant, affordable wedding reception with delicious food. I am a hard person to please in the food department, and I was blown away. Thanks Matt and Anne Marie's for making our day special!

As stressful as planning a wedding is, the staff at Anne Marie's was incredible! I was lucky enough to deal with Ruben and Matt. Matt was my go to guy and what a pleasure that was. He helped with our vision and accommodated everything we needed. Ruben knows so many people! He helped us with recommendations for our wedding cake, guitarist, florist and who knows what else. We were very happy with all of them, they were booked separate, but without Ruben, we would have lost a lot of time searching. The FOOD! OUTSTANDING! We received nothing but superlatives from everyone! From the rehearsal dinner appetitizers to the final desserts, all was delicious! Special thanks to Chef Rob and Doug! We had our rehearsal dinner at their restaurant, which adjoins the Celebration Hall, how convenient. We decided to have our wedding ceremony at the Celebration Hall. Matt and staff were awesome. It was so easy for our guests as well as us. One stop Wedding, so to say. We had our rehearsal, wedding service, reception all at the same facilities. EVERYBODY loved it.

We identified food and drinks as a top priority early on in the planning process. A majority of our guests were travelling from Australia and we wanted to show them true Southern Hospitality. The food was exceptional, seriously exquisite. Holly was also kind enough to let my sister and planner do a tasting early on and then weeks before the wedding when my husband and I are arrived stateside, we got another tasting! The Sangria, bacon wrapped shrimp and brisket tacos were all huge hits! Thank you Anne Marie's for contributing to our flawless wedding day!

Beginning with the beautiful and delicious taste testing until the last piece of cake was packed up after the reception, Holly was available for consultation and excellent advise. Anne Marie's menu had something to satisfy everyone's taste, even children and those with food restrictions. The waitstaff was professionally dressed and quietly attentive to the 225 guests at my daughter's wedding reception, slipping among the guests serving mouth watering hors d'voures and offering beverages. The buffet line went so quickly that many guests commented to my husband and I that they'd never experiences such wonderful service at a wedding this size. Hey kept the food at the desired temperature, hot food hot and cold food cold.
We also used Anne Marie's linen service which nicely complimented their choices of tableware. The simple tablecloths were the perfect underlay to the beautiful lace toppers and Anne Marie's has many colors of quality fabric napkins to choose from.
I cannot praise Holly and her staff enough!
My last daughter is now married but if I ever have the need for catering service again I will contact Holly (and she will get back with customers quickly!) and go straight to Anne Marie's!

Planning our catering with Anne Marie's was the easiest part of our wedding planning. I didn't worry about a *thing* because Holly is absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. Not only was she incredibly prompt - I mean, returning emails in a matter of minutes and phone calls in a matter of hours, at the most - but she was interpersonally very professional and sweet. She is genuinely kind, business aside. She provided us with a delicious, large portion tasting as we were trying to plan our menu and she was gracious and accommodating as we added extra food/appetizers at nearly the last minute. I was so surprised to see Holly herself on our wedding day. She was busily and professionally shuffling around the reception space, making sure that we and our guests were well cared for. Her staff was also very professional. Her bar service and licensing fees were beyond reasonable and even cheap for the service provided. The food was delicious and the plating/dishware she provided (for a very reasonable fee) was very nice and worth every penny. We received compliments on the food for days afterwards - everything was great. Everything. Trust Holly. She is an absolute professional and the best choice out there for both your wallet and your palate. I am recommending Anne Marie's to everyone I talk to.

From our very first meeting with Holly at Anne Maries, we were extremely impressed. Holly was very responsive to our needs and desires. She offered many recommendations and tips, and went well above and beyond to ensure our day went off without a hitch. As a couple who was planning everything on our own, the planning process up to the final "I do" could have been so stressful, but with Holly's help, everything was absolutely perfect and stress-free. Our guests raved about how the delicious the food was, stating that it was not your "typical wedding food." We were so impressed with the food during the tasting, that we even made time to eat, something the bride and groom often times forget to do. I can assure you, it was absolutely delicious. From the groom (that's how awesome they are when the groom wants to review): The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! We did elegant American and Tex-Mex fusion; all the guests raved about the food! Everything from the hors d’ourves to the main course was cooked to perfection.

My wife and I were doing long distance and had a difficult time arranging food tasting visits. Anne Marie’s was very sympathetic and accommodating by allowing two taste testing session: one with her mother/sister and another with my wife and me. The food at the taste testing session was as delicious as the final product on our wedding day. In addition to the food, Anne Marie’s has plenty of plates, decorations, and styles to choose from, all of which are beautiful. They are flexible and understand and one of our favorite vendors

Holly of Anne Marie’s has catered at the venue numerous times and knows the place inside out. Not only was she instrumental in setting up the food she was also very helpful in setting up the decorations. With Anne Marie’s you not just getting a cater, but almost an extra coordinator. On the wedding day she made sure to remind us to eat and took care of us. When it was apparent that we were not going to eat, she was kind enough to pack us a to go bag with all the delicious food we missed out on (which we wolfed down at midnight at our hotel).

We highly recommend Anne Marie’s to anyone looking for a cater. Her dedication to her clients are second to none! Ten stars if possible!

I can not find enough words to describe Holly, our team leader at Anne Marie's. She is joyful, sophisticated, honest, creative, tireless, observant, dedicated, passionate, polished and most importantly, responsive. At no point in the planning process did she ever fail return a phone call, respond to an email, or get back with us promptly as promised. She is the consummate professional and she has the same expectation for all of her staff. Everyone was amazing. Our food was delicious, it was displayed beautifully, and served with smiles and grace. We had multiple food needs, IE vegan, dairy free, etc and she did not miss a beat. Holly's intimate knowledge of the venue allowed her to make invaluable suggestions on how to best utilize the space. When confronted with weather issues she was adaptable and brilliant. You can not go wrong with her services. She delivered everything promised and then some. Holly is an absolute angel! I simply can't imagine our wedding without her. I have rarely in my life seen such awesome professionalism and grace under pressure! We had a very rainy wedding day and Holly made everything run as smoothly as possible, her suggestions were wonderful and lifesaving! The bar was awesome too! We came up with our own recipes for signature cocktails, and even though they were a bit labor intensive, they turned out great and were a huge success! The rellenos, risotto, and dessert were crowd pleasers as well. We were really happy with the catering, but I really can't endorse Holly more strongly -- she is a miracle worker that any bride & groom would be lucky to have on their team. Thanks Holly!!!

I highly recommend using Ann Maries catering for your wedding. My mom and I are detailed oriented and had high expectations and very specific ideas that we wanted for my wedding. Holly worked with us throughout our many revisions with a smile on her face and stayed within our budget. The food was fabulous and the presentation, bar, servers etc. were stylish and classy. She made many great suggestions having worked at Southwest School of Art before but really listened to us, took notes and did not forget or leave out one detail of our cocktail hour, dinner or reception. She is really much more that a caterer giving us recommendations for our band and helping us out last minute to find a fabulous hair stylist when ours let us down. They are the best caterers in San Antonio, save your time and book them now!

Anne Marie's food was wonderful. We wanted to different entrees with different sides and they worked with us unlike some other caterers. We told them what we wanted and they delivered. The staff was so friendly and had drinks and apps for us after the ceremony. All my guests loved the food and we even had leftovers to take with us. When looking for a caterer for our wedding, we were a little lost. Anne Marie's Catering was the answer to all our worries and uncertainties. Holly was particularly wonderful to work with, though the whole staff was great, and helped make our wedding day wonderful! In the planning stages, they were flexible and sensitive to our budget, and very responsive to the questions we had, while also making helpful suggestions throughout the decision process. The food was delicious. As far as a catering service, Anne Marie's went above and beyond what we expected, coordinating rentals, and making sure we had food and drinks in our hands at the reception. Can't say enough great things about Holly. She MAKES Anne Maries amazing. Their food is great, it's well priced and it only adds to it that the person you work with is responsive and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. We looked at so many caterers because we were very price sensitive especially because we wanted a full bar and Holly sent me dozens of proposals along the way to work with us and within budget.

We walked through the venue beforehand and she felt like my wedding planner! She had so many things to point out about the venue to be aware of and knew how everything worked - it was such a relief!
The day of my wedding while we were running a tad late getting my dress bustled she sat down and cut up my food for me so I could eat faster. It's NOT her job to do that, and she offered to do it! She is so sweet and such a nice person to work with and that alone makes it a better experience.

Plus of course, the food was great!

What can I say about Matt and his team? Or rather, cannot say! They were amazing to work with. They allowed our ceremony/reception to be amazing! Matt was very communicative over the 6 months I worked with him. He assisted us in the numerous changes we made for the day literally up until the day of the event.
Matt was so thoughtful during my reception, he noticed I was upset dealing with other vendors during my reception and he made a note to ensure that he would go above and beyond to take care of me and my guest.
My guest loved the food, the atmosphere in the celebration room, and the staff. Unfortunately we got married on the day of the floods, May 23, 2015 and his staff made sure to deliver important weather information to me and my guest. I cannot express how satisfied I am with working with Anne Marie's and I am so blessed that on my wedding day, I was able to have a semi-carefree day (no issues in relation to Anne Marie's).

Anne Marie's was amazing!! When I started looking for venues for my wedding, I really liked the fact that they offer everything in one (catering, venue for ceremony and reception, decorations, etc.). The price fit our budget, and when we met with Holly, she was so excited to work with us, I felt at ease knowing that our special day was going to be handled with care.

Their venue at Devonshire Place was exactly what we needed for our small wedding. Holly gave us exactly what we wanted with regards to the vision we had and color scheme. She gave us plenty of options, and her suggestions went very well with the current trends. She was even understanding when we had to push back our wedding date a few months.

From the rehearsal, to the wedding day, Holly and the team were so helpful and generous. They made sure we had everything we needed, and even things we didn't think we needed. Everything was set up when they said it would be, and it looked beautiful. We received so many compliments on how elegant everything looked. We even had a special surprise for our sweetheart table, which was a fresh flower arrangement with our wedding flower and roses. The food was excellent, and all of our guests were very impressed and pleased.

I would definitely recommend Anne Marie's to anyone who needs wonderful food and/or a wedding venue at a reasonable price.

Every time I told someone that Anne Marie’s was catering my wedding, they inevitably said "Oh, Anne Marie's is awesome, it's going to be great." They were so right.

At the venue walk-through the month before my wedding, the venue representatives mentioned that they were unsure if they'd be able to let us into the space more than two hours before the ceremony. Holly advocated for me. She negotiated with them to make sure that her staff, as well as my decorators would have enough time to set up. It always felt like she’d go to bat for me.

When I jokingly mentioned that my husband and I would like the kids meal (chicken tenders and macaroni) more than the grown-up meal (chicken with cilantro lime sauce and mixed veggies) Holly gave me the sweetest smile and wrote down on her clip-board to serve my husband and I a little bit of everything. The day of, when her staff member brought us our dinner, it was such a great reminder that we were being taken care of in every way possible.

Here's the kicker: The day of the wedding my dad went to drop off several cases of (what we thought was) rum. When the bartenders opened the boxes, only vodka was inside. Holly remembered that our signature cocktail for the evening was meant to be rum and coke. Instead of simply pointing out the mistake, she told my dad not to worry about it, and that she'd take care of it. The fact that the liquor store had mistakenly give us vodka instead of rum was in no way her problem, but because it was an issue for us, she wanted to fix it. Her mission was truly to make the day as easy as possible for us.

After the ceremony she greeted my husband and I with a rum and coke in each hand and a smile on her face. She was just so darn sweet and anticipated all of our needs before we even knew we needed them.

To sum up: Holly is an absolute angel, the prices fit any budget, the food is delicious. You will not regret going with Anne Marie's.

Anne Marie's did an excellent job catering my wedding. All of the food was fabulous and by far the best food that I have had at a wedding. Everything was well organized and set up when needed. Holly's team even cut up the leftover cake to put in to-go boxes for guests to take home (I provided the boxes and ordered an excess of cake). I would recommend them to anyone.

Loved the service we received from Anne Marie's! We explained the overall feel of our wedding, and they worked with us to craft a menu that really complimented the evening! We had a duo entree of an ancho smoked beef (with a jalapeno cream sauce) and a margarita chicken. Definitely a crowd pleaser! They were even receptive to me sending them my favorite recipe for the vegetarian dish! Super accommodating of "special" guests - we had a vegan, a celiac, lactose-intolerant, and a number of vegetarians: they knew where those guests were seated in advance, and made sure to prepare special meals just for them. I greatly appreciated Holly bringing my husband and I appetizers to eat while our guests were enjoying cocktail hour. And finally, my guests can't stop talking about the brisket tacos during cocktail hour! Awesome service at a great price. I absolutely recommend Anne Maries to any couple getting married in San Antonio!!

We purchased one of their packages which included the room, food, furniture, and ,linens. I can not stress about how wonderful it all turned out. We tasted/interviewed 3 different caterers, this one was our last one and we love all of their options but we loved a dish one other cater offered when telling this to Holly she said we can do it. Cannot say enough great things about Anne Maries Catering! Anne Maries played a huge role in making my wedding absolutely perfect. Holly and all the Anne Maries staff were overly accomodating, professional, friendly, and most importantly nice :) Anne Maries provided a buffet style Tex-Mex buffet for our rehearsal dinner and all of our out of town guests (from up North) raved about how delicious the food was! For the ceremony, we Anne Maries provided all of the chairs, the linens, the table set ups, and a buffet style dinner. We created a menu that had variety for all our guests and people are still talking about how amazing the food was! I especially love the hor dourves during the cocktail hour, it provided an elegant touch and gave guests a little preview of how wonderful the dinner food would be. The price is beyond reasonable for the quality of food and service you will receive. If you are looking for professional, afforable, and superb quality for you wedding caterer you MUST go with Anne Maries. Holly with Anne Marie's Catering is the ABSOLUTE best! She was sincerely excited to cater our wedding and did everything to make sure "my vision" was created perfectly. She was very responsive to all my emails and phone calls and never missed a beat even when I was changing things a week before the wedding. The food was DELISH! Holly at Anne Marie's is wonderful. I knew exactly what I wanted, and she made it happen. The food was delicious. I know everyone at the wedding was surprised! I had a served dinner, and everything was perfect. They accommodated my mom who has a ton of food allergies, and my sister who is a vegetarian. They had absolutely no problem with it. Holly also made suggestion of other vendors to check out, which was very helpful. What was great was it seemed like a lot of the vendors knew each other, and all liked one another. I think that helped the day and the planning go more smoothly.

Hands-down, the best carterer I have ever had! Holly was more then I could have asked for! Not only does she make sure your event goes smoothly but she even helps out with the little details! I would recommend Anne Marie's to any bride on a budget and needing a little help!

Working with Holly was a blessing for us! I am the mother of the bride and this was our first wedding. We met with Holly phisically about 3 times during the year and the rest was done through the phone and emails. It was very convenient for Jessica because she lives out of town. She was prompt to answer all the calls and listens to you. Her guidance and professionalism were outstanding. My daughter Jessica and I loved working with Holly. Her talent and experience are unbelievable. Their service was expectional. Their flexibility was outstanding and their food was delicious. Their prices were reasonable and in overall I can say that Holly and her staff are talented and people you can trust to make your dream come true.

Holly and her team were absolutely amazing! They created a menu to fit our "Hawaiian Style" wedding. We continue to receive compliments on the food and their service. I would definitely recommend Anne Marie's! Holly consistently kept in contact with me. She gave timely responses to my growing list of questions. She was always very patient with me and kept me calm as the day fast approached.

Anne Maries was booked for my July wedding two weeks prior to my big day! My other caterer fell through because of bad business practices (Columbia Culinary Team) and Anne Maries was right there to save the day. They not only close to matched the prices I was getting at Columbia, but offered WAYYY better service. Holly was professional and gave me her honest opinions with my concerns. She made sure we were more than satisfied. The food turned out amazing! Everyone said how much they loved the food and were surprised how big the portions were. The drinks her bartenders made were strong! But that might have been because I provided my own alcohol. Everything turned out amazing! Anne Marie's really came through for me, when we were in the pits! We served 125 plates, seated service, and we had a keg ($195) and we were right at $5000 total. If you are looking for someone professional and gooooood quality food. Pick Anne Maries.

Excellent catering company. Everything went off without a hitch. The staff was very professional and service was great. The food was great too and they offer lots of menu options so you can personalize your menu to your liking. I definitely recommend this caterer.

We had Anne Marie's cater our wedding on March 26, 2011 and the food was delicious! I heard nothing but good things about the food all night long. We tried several other places in town, however; the quality of Anne Marie's food was so much better. Holly was a blessing; she was always friendly and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had.

We bought our own liquor/wine/beer for the wedding and used Anne Marie's for our bartenders. Our only complaint about the service was that the bartenders opened a lot of wine and liquor bottles and poured a little from each one. So we came home with about 10 opened red wine bottles with very little out of them and had to disperse them to family members so that they wouldn't go bad before we could drink them. We also came home with several half empty (same type) bottles of liquor.

Other than those minor items, Anne Marie's was great, and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a caterer! :)

Everybody at Anne Marie's was great! I worked with Matt leading up to the wedding, and he always responded quickly and was extremely flexible. Ruben was at our reception on the day of the wedding, and he was so helpful! He served the kids their food, and even served my husband's aunt since she was holding her grandson (it was a buffet, not seated dinner). We got so many compliments on food, too. As someone else said, they aren't the cheapest, but we felt the outstanding service made it worth the money!

We loved them! They were so personal and really made our day perfect. People always say that you never get to eat on your wedding day, but they made sure we got EVERYTHING! Including a HUGE plate of cake and even came back to us asking if we wanted seconds. Plus the food was outstanding!

We worked with Holly from Anne Marie's and she is an absolute delight! She is extremely compassionate and cheerful, and is perfect for this industry! When we originally met with Holly, we were so impressed by her that we wanted to book Anne Marie's on the spot (this was even before we tried the food!) But I will say that once we had our tasting a month later, there was no question in our minds that we wanted to go with Anne Marie's. Holly is extremely laid back and flexible, and made it clear to us that she would do whatever it was that we wanted for our day. The price is extremely reasonable, especially considering how delicious the food is! We went with a sirloin carving station and a chicken entree, which turned out to be perfect for our guests! We loved that Anne Marie's prepared as much as possible on-site (vegetables, gravies, etc.) because that allowed the food to be both hot and fresh when it was served. The ONLY negative I would point out is that we could have been responded to a little sooner at times during the planning process (especially the month leading up to the wedding). With that being said, the late responses were extremely minor and something that was easily forgotten the day of the wedding. I would simply recommend ensuring that you have ample time when planning, and don't feel bad about calling twice if you have to! All in all, I highly recommend Anne Marie's!! They were fabulous! :)

The food was excellent, and the rentals were perfect. Holley was very responsive to emails and calls. Be sure to be very specific if there are particular things you want (the only small issue we had was that they served the wrong type of champagne - they fixed this quickly when we pointed it out to them). Great vendor, amazing prices.

For the most part the most part they were great. As far as price they are not cheap, but they really are affordable and you can get a great wedding! My only true complaint is that half of the food was cold wich is sad because you could tell it tasted very good, but cold.

Very difficult to get someone to get back with you within a timely manner....via email or telephone call. Food was great when I went in for the tasting but I was upset that it was cold at the wedding.....they need to figure out a way to keep the food warm!

Good food, but not worth $$ due to unprofessionalism

We have had feedback from several people (at least 30... waiting more responses) who attended the wedding, and they all got sick of the food. Not to be disgusting, but they had GI problems for 1-2 days. One guest said that when they bit into the meatball, she noticed it wasn't cooked all the way. We didn't know what exactly caused everyone to get sick. But we know for sure it wasn't the desserts because the people who got sick didn't eat dessert.

Additional Issues-
Since choosing Anne Maries for catering, we had a couple of issues. First one being with our numbers in regard to food. I had been in communications and told Shawn that we had less people after the RSVP count came in 300 originally, then RSPV'd... 250. Shawn later told us that is why they "double check" numbers before charging. And no, they didn't! He already sent us a bill for the wrong number of guests for the wedding.

Thirdly, we had an invoice sent to us saying that after we paid that our card was rejected. Supposedly after speaking with Shawn on the phone, he informed me that the office manager didn't communicate with him about how we already paid. So, the office manager sent another invoice, and it stated that the payment was rejected. This happened after the previous issue was addressed.

Overall, we were very disappointed by the issues that we encountered with Anne Marie's and don't feel like the company demonstrated professional qualities that we thought we were paying for. There was poor communication between Shawn and the Office Manager. We understand mistakes happen, but there were several mishaps with the addition of some of our guests getting sick on the food.
