This was a perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding. It was a unique experience to be able to offer our guests everything from a beautiful ceremony on the most picturesque deck overlooking the water to a cocktail hour in the side yard to the incredible banquet space to the truly unique and interesting and fun experience of the museum itself. We heard from so many of our guests how much they enjoyed themselves and what a great place to have a wedding! Personally, I loved that the rental fee goes completely to support the educational programs offered by AMM. And the icing on the cake, so to speak, was the fantastic support Paige provided. She was so good about communicating, answering our questions, offering helpful ideas and making sure everyone was where they needed to be at the proper time. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience there - truly a most beautiful and memorable occasion in our lives!

LOVE this venue
We had an incredible time at AMM, highly recommended. We had about 120 people, not sure how they’d fit 150, but they worked with us on every request, helped with the layout/floorplan, etc.
I wish more caterers were on the “preferred vendors” list, but those are a minor issue.

Perfect Wedding Weekend in Every Way!
From the moment I found AMM I knew it was our venue. You just couldn't ask for a more perfect waterfront setting and right in the heart of Annapolis! Not to mention we were able to bring our own sailboat up to the dock for the evening which was beyond special for photographs & allowing friends/family to tour the boat we'd lived & traveled on for 2 years.
We had our ceremony on the tented outdoor deck overlooking Back Creek & The Chesapeake Bay. In case of rain they offer side enclosures. Even in the heat of our July summer day there was a beautiful breeze coming off the water keeping our guests comfortable. The reception inside was the perfect space for our party. And guests loved to be able to explore the museum and the outside grounds as they pleased throughout the evening.
Paige was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for the day. Not to mention the venue fee is supporting such a wonderful museum!
We also enjoyed chartering their Skipjack, Wilma Lee, the afternoon before the wedding. Allowing out- of-town guests a chance to enjoy a day out on the water and see another side of Annapolis!
Cannot recommend this venue enough - beautiful space & wonderful people! Thank you Katie, Captain Bill & Paige!

Engagement party
We rented the park area and the pavilion for an engagement party this past May. Working with Amber to plan the event was great and all went very smoothly. The price was reasonable and we liked that the money goes to this amazing non-profit organization. If you are planning an event in Annapolis, you should take a look at Annapolis Maritime Museum and Park venues.

Awesome venue for an awesome day
AMM worked out great for our daughter's wedding. The external cottage was the perfect staging area for the wedding party to prep before the reception. The museum area made for a great pre-meal mingling space where guests could browse the exhibits and having a second bar on the covered deck not only afforded views of the surrounding marina but once the party got going with a live band, served as quieter space for more intimate conversations. The main space looked great with the decorations and everyone felt connected. We had a beautiful evening and the ability to stroll out on the piers and star gaze added to the special feeling of the occasion.

Amazing Venue!
So thankful we chose to have our big day at the Maritime Museum! Paige and her team was so responsive and flexible to make my vision come to life! Our guests were in awe of the venue and how different it was than any other venue they've been to. The lighting is amazing in every picture and there are so many areas to get different kinds of photos - its as if we were at a huge venue!

My Dream Venue
Having our wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum was an incredible experience. Paige was super responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. AMM is such a unique venue with absolutely gorgeous views on the water. Our guests enjoyed cocktail hour walking through the museum and outside on the deck/docks. Additionally, the barge house was perfect for getting ready before the ceremony. If you are looking for a charming Annapolis venue, this is it!

Perfect Annapolis venue!
We've been going to the Annapolis Maritime Museum for local events for years and knew it was the perfect venue for our big day! It has the best view of the Chesapeake in all of Annapolis and we loved how intimate and warm the space feels. Paige was so helpful and responsive throughout the entire process, and facilitated our perfect wedding day as our day-of-coordinator. Our guests loved how special the venue felt and we loved that we didn't need a lot of decor; the setting spoke for itself. Cocktail hour on the deck at sunset was a highlight. We'd strongly recommend AMM and Paige!

Perfection!
We got married on 10/29/22 and AMM was absolutely perfect. We initially toured the museum on 7/4/21 right after we got engaged, and didn't look at another venue- we were in love! Paige was so easy to work with, the space is stunning, and the Barge House was the perfect place for the guys to get ready! We had our ceremony off site, but we could not have asked for a better venue, staff, and backdrop for our day. We highly recommend getting married at the Annapolis Maritime Museum!!!!!!

Great venue in Annapolis!
We loved the Maritime Museum! It was such a unique venue. We were struggling to find a venue that fit our number (~105) perfectly and the AMM did just that. It was PERFECT for our size. I was hesitant it would feel too rustic but once it was set up it was everything we wanted and our guests absolutely loved it. We even had a hurricane during our wedding and it was still amazing. We also took our bridal party and some out of town guests out on the Wilma Lee before our rehearsal dinner and that was a huge hit. Paige at the museum was amazing. Very responsive, helpful and kind. I was a little worried about the short set up time but we had our ceremony there at 5 and everything was set up and perfect. :) Since it was bad weather we did some pictures at the State House under the awnings which was really fun.

10.1.2022 AMM Wedding
We recently got married at the Annapolis Maritime Museum and it was everything we were hoping for and more. The venue is a unique mix of museum and event space and perfectly embodies our love for the water and the Bay. While not a large venue, there was more than enough room for 110 people to spread out on the dock, the main event space and the museum when the rain took away the opportunity to use the side yard. Our guests could not stop talking about how unique the venue was and how they loved being able to interact with the museum exhibits during cocktail hour and the reception. Paige and the AMM team were incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process and incredibly helpful in the days prior trying to plan for unexpected rain forecasts. We would not hesitate to recommend the AMM for anyone looking for a unique, beautiful setting for their wedding!
If you do choose to book the Annapolis Maritime Museum for your wedding/event, you should also book Paige Skrickus as your wedding day of coordinator. Booking her as our day of coordinator was one of the best decisions we could have made. Although she was hired as a "day of coordinator" she helped us through the entire planning process with logistics, timelines, and details we would have never thought of on our own. During the actual event, she kept everything running smoothly, organized all vendors and was the calm and organized authority that we needed. She was amazing and we are so grateful that we booked her.

Truly a hidden gem in Annapolis
Paige was amazing to work with and the museum provided it's own decoration and experience for our guests to enjoy. Unfortunately, the weather was NOT in our favor leading up to the event due to a hurricane coming up the coast from the South. Paige was able to give us lots of great advice for last minute changes to have all activity inside the museum and under the tented deck (we had planned on pictures outside before and after the ceremony). She was available last minute the morning of our wedding to assure us everything would be beautiful regardless of the weather. She talked through our options of completely closing the tent on the deck or leaving one side open for a view of the Bay. Even with the tent a bit open, if we moved the chairs back, Paige was confident we could still have the ceremony on the deck with a gorgeous view of the Bay. And boy was it gorgeous, even with the wind and rain! Highly recommend this venue!

The most perfect wedding venue!
We wanted to get married on the water. Eastport is such a charming city and the Annapolis Maritime Museum captures its charm while providing an intimate space for a wedding. Paige was a joy to work with, the Bay Room was a blank space we could make our own, and the museum was a perfect touch to offer our guests. You cannot beat the views that provided for so many beautiful moments and pictures. Getting married at AMM is an experience we won't soon forget! We also chartered the Wilma Lee for our bridal party between our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner which topped off the whole weekend on the water! Highly recommend that as an added highlight to it all!

We love AMM
AMM was the perfect venue for our labor day weekend wedding! We had 115 guests and felt that was the perfect size. Paige was so incredibly to work with throughout the whole process and incredibly responsive and flexible! We can't thank her and the AMM staff enough!

AMM is a beautiful and unique place to get married
We are so glad that we decided to get married at AMM. The venue was easy to work with and very accommodating. The exhibits and boats give a unique option to explore for guests throughout cocktail hour and the reception. Our guests really enjoyed walking around the piers.
Even with some rain the venue was beautiful! The pier is perfect for a first look! Eastport is also such a great area in Annapolis and it is very walkable. It is an added bonus that the venue fee goes to a good cause!

Omg, I don’t know how to put how amazing this venue and team are into words! Paige and her staff at AMM made choosing AMM a no brainer as they answered every email and question promptly. They also were available to meet us when we needed for a walk through, since we live out of state. It is the perfect location. You get the beautiful creek, the inside AND outside venue, side yard and docks! We were able to come in via boat for our perfect Annapolis entrance. It’s just perfect. The museum allowed for guests to wander though during the reception while the main area allowed for more than enough room for 100 plus people to dance. Book this venue, you won’t regret it!

We interfaced with Paige Skrickus. She responded to questions and requests within the day and often within the hour. She even recommended a great hair salon. She emailed receipts promptly. When the day drew near she averted a near disaster and oversaw more details graciously relieving my tension and ensuring a great dessert display.
Spectacular venue on the water with video Brant indoor and outdoor spaces. Even a place to dock a boat for a grand wedding party entrance!!

We just got married at the Annapolis Maritime Museum and I can’t recommend it enough. It was a perfect setting for our dream wedding on the water. Great location, beautiful inside area, outside lawn/beach area and stunning views. It was my dream venue and I’m in love with it. We worked with Paige Skrickus as the venue manager and our day of coordinator. She is amazing and was so helpful the entire way through. Paige made the planning process easy and enjoyable. She was responsive, flexible, and always professional, and went out of her way to accommodate any and all requests. Best of all…AMM is reasonably priced for the level of quality and service. Tucked away just for you and your guests
Hi Bride and Mother of the Bride! Welcome to a beautiful venue at the Maritime Museum. The photos do not do it justice. Paige is the event manager and talk about a woman who responds PROMPTLY to every e-mail! As we waded into the wedding world -- people who return calls and emails is absolutely critical. Paige and everyone she works with are kind and Can-Do people. They are masters of this craft -- they have parking solutions and friendly night of managers! You can actually hire Paige to be your Day-Of coordinator!
We found this venue from our caterer across the peninsula (Ken's Creative Kitchen). He has used that venue MANY times and both parties have a wonderful working relationship! May I suggest using Ken's oyster man at the Museum since it used to be an oyster packing plant!!
In 2020, we had our small pandemic wedding reception at the museum. Then in 2021, because we had so much fun last year, we had our larger wedding reception back at the museum. Everyone had a blast!

AMM was great to have our wedding at! You get a little bit of everything when you are there- water, beach, garden, museum. It provides a beautiful backdrop for pictures and there are so many fun things for guest to look at. All of our guests said how beautiful the venue was. Perfect Annapolitan venue
We wanted a venue on the water, with a lot of local character. The AMM was exactly what we were looking for. We didn’t even look anywhere else. Our guests loved it! Paige, the venue manager, was so helpful and responsive. (I’m so glad, if our wedding had to be postponed because of a pandemic, that this was the venue we had to work through it with! They were so flexible.) The value is incredible for a historic waterfront building, and we were glad we were supporting a local non-profit.

Picturesque Annapolis
The Annapolis Maritime Museum was the perfect location for our wedding celebration. We could not have been happier with our choice. Paige and the team were incredibly easy to work with and had wonderful recommendations throughout our entire process. The water views from the museums deck are the best in Annapolis and perfect for a cocktail hour. We had around 130 guest and the inside was perfect for dinner and dancing. Gorgeous venue/very accommodating
From the onset, the venue manager Paige was so helpful & easy to work with, we did not feel restricted on space. The museum, barge house and surrounding environment was so neat and parking was easy. The Most Beautiful Venue and Experience
I can't recommend the Annapolis Maritime Museum enough. To start, Paige was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process of planning for our wedding at the museum. Her level of professionalism and just general kindness in helping us was amazing. She made planning easy and fun and everything was extremely simple and straightforward. When it came to the day itself, it truly was an unforgettable experience having our wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum and we couldn't be happier. The AMM really is such a special place and we feel extremely grateful to have been able to celebrate our big day there. Just above & beyond in terms of the service and experience. Paige was there the entire day helping to ensure everything ran smoothly. Not to mention how absolutely beautiful and unique the venue itself is. If you haven't seen it in person, just visit, and you will be sold. The stunning tented deck over the open water is my personal favorite part, but all other parts of the venue were equally as beautiful. Stunning waterfront venue
We had the best experience at the Maritime Museum. Our wedding could not have been more perfect, and the museum was the most amazing backdrop. We picked AMM knowing it could handle anything and everything our covid-era wedding might become, and it totally came through. It’s a beautiful, incredibly flexible space both indoor and out. AMM has done a great job with the barge house renovation, the museum is incredible and I can’t wait to go back (with a little more down time and in a more practical outfit) and absorb all the cool exhibits they have now! The outdoor space was the biggest draw for us because we weren’t sure how much time our guests would want to spend indoors, the new tent looks great and Wilma Lee is a lovely backdrop. Paige was wonderful throughout the process, but especially so because she took my covid-creative ideas seriously (pivoting to guests seated at outdoor tables for the ceremony and then dinner, for one) and helped me keep things organized before and during. The Wilma Lee and her crew were also absolutely amazing for an afternoon sail between the rehearsal and dinner!

Paige was FANTASTIC. She was beyond responsive and answered every question no matter how silly it was. If Paige wasn’t working or available she made sure we were taken care of. Wonderful Experience!
We hosted our wedding at AMM in March of 2021. Paige was a joy to work with and always got back to us in what felt like lightning speed. The museum itself just went through a massive renovation and our guests enjoyed walking through the newly designed exhibits.
This venue really gives you a little touch of everything! 10/10 recommend!

Dog and sailboat friendly
My husband and I got married at AMM on September 25, 2020. Paige was super helpful as we navigated our options with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The newly renovated museum was the perfect backdrop for our big day - we were able to incorporate our sailboat as well! AMM is also pet friendly, so our dog, Opal, and my family dog, Lucy, were also able to make an appearance during the ceremony, which meant to much to us. Truly worth it!

Dream Wedding Venue
AMM was so amazing throughout the process. We decided to move forward with having our wedding during COVID regardless of if it was going to be a small socially distanced sit down dinner or a larger cocktail hour. AMM was so flexible in allowing us to make the reception of our dreams, There was so much room for people to mill around and the VIEW! Our guests were absolutely floored by the view and certainly took advantage of the "golden hour" to get all the photos they could. There truly are no other venues quite like AMM out there and I am so thankful of the museum and the team who were there to help and allowed us the flexibility to use the whole place. Thank you AMM for making all our wedding dreams come true, despite being in the middle of a global pandemic!

One Last Change!
We had originally planned to marry in Annapolis on May 1st, but COVID19 restrictions for indoor venues and 10 person limits put the brakes on for everything. Four rounds of letters and three date changes later, we finally celebrated our wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum (AMM) on August 22nd. We found AMM by chance on August 1st when we were in the middle of another venue change. Paige was incredible right from the first email. Thanks to her and her help, we were able to plan our 4th and final wedding venue change and get everything settled within three weeks. We were grateful that everything fell into place with current vendors and new vendors. The venue itself is beautiful with its position on the water and its maritime history gracing each wall. Our guests loved being able to relax on the deck beneath the tent, enjoy the beach area, and explore the exhibits in the back room. We definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a special waterfront Annapolis venue!

AMM was just the perfect venue for us! We were had to postpone our wedding and then cancel and find a new venue within two weeks of our wedding date. AMM stepped right up and helped us quickly and efficiently through the process. They were responsive, kind, informative, genuine and all around great venue! Paige and Caitlin were a joy to work with and our only compliant is we wish we chose AMM from the start of our wedding journey but we are so thankful that we ended up there.

What a beautiful reception we had at the Annapolis Maritime Museum! We started with cocktail hour on the patio. During cocktail hour, the bridal party arrived by boat! Then dinner and dancing were held indoors. People still talk about the unique choice of a venue, and what a perfect day it was!

The Perfect Venue
Choosing the Annapolis Maritime Museum was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. The venue was absolutely perfect in every way. Paige was absolutely wonderful, very responsive to messages & worked with us to make everything easy & stress-free. Everyone raved about how special and different the site was for a wedding & it offered everything: indoor space, outdoor covered space & on the water, DOG FRIENDLY, all on a budget (which is all donated towards education at the museum, BTW - HUGE PERK). Beautiful location on the water. All of our guests really enjoyed it. The museum itself was also great for kids and adults who needed a break from the dance floor. Parking is offsite but super close and was not a hassle at all. There are tons of Airbnbs nearby, so many of our guests were able to walk.

Fantastic setting for a nautical wedding!
When my husband and I walked into the Annapolis Maritime Museum, we knew this was the place for us! It offered exactly what we were looking for and would be the perfect setting for our guests – the young and the not so young. From the gallery, the side yard, the main deck, and main event space to the wonderful view of the Bay - everyone would be sure to have a wonderful experience. And they did! We could not have had a more memorable day. What a lovely setting for a nautical wedding! We enjoyed working with Paige and her colleagues very much to plan and execute our special day. Gorgeous and Unique Waterfront Venue
I can't recommend this venue enough! Everything was perfect - from the ceremony on the tented deck, to the cocktail hour in the side yard/museum, to the dinner and dancing in the bayroom. We had plenty of room for our 120 guests, and they all raved about how unique and beautiful the venue was. It's not your typical venue, it's better! AMM also provided the perfect backdrop for all of our photos. We did portraits on a sailboat docked at the museum and they turned out perfect, and the dock photos were gorgeous. Me and my bridal party arrived to the ceremony by boat and used the dock as the "aisle", and it was so much fun! The staff at AMM are amazing and so easy to work with. You won't regret booking AMM for your wedding!

Unique gorgeous setting for such an unforgettable day!
The entire AMM staff especially Paige were amazing from start to finish! We were married on September 21st and she was kind enough to check in on the 24th to ensure we had a wonderful time! The setting couldn’t be more unique and amazing for pictures and the venue was perfect for our 90 person wedding! The perfect reception venue
My husband and I used the Maritime museum for our wedding reception following our ceremony and we couldn't have been prouder to host our event there. The space was perfect for our size (145 guests) and honestly could have probably fit more. We rented couches for the deck space and large farm house tables for the bay room. The food was buffet style in the exhibit room which we didn't expect any guests to hang out in besides getting food but it turned out to be a great hang out spot for many guests and made the space much larger than we originally expected. All in all I fantastic spot to host a reception. Our send off was via water taxi on the dock and we recommend having guests enter venue via the entrance by the beach, and not utilize the main entrance. Paige, our event coordinator was fantastic to work with, we are so thankful to have hosted the reception there.

My favorite part about our wedding was the venue. The AMM was perfect for us. We wanted a unique venue that was also waterfront but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. We did the ceremony on the deck and then dinner and dancing inside. Our guests were free to enjoy both indoor and outdoor spaces the whole night. Paige and her team were very helpful throughout the whole process. We didn't even know we were going to have a helper on wedding day but Kate was super helpful getting us all down the aisle and coordinating the vendors. We loved that the rental came with exactly what we needed (the space and chairs) and gave us the freedom to choose our other vendors without much restriction. Definitely a little bit more DIY than some "wedding factory" venues that provide all the services but we were able to make our wedding unique and exactly what we wanted!

You can’t beat this venue and it’s view of the water! Paige is very professional and always willing to help however she can. Not to mention, the money that you spend here is used to help further educational programs about the Chesapeake Bay. Caitlyn was there the evening of our wedding and was very helpful during our event and answered any questions that we had as things came up. Amazing Experience for An Annapolis Wedding
From the start, my husband and I knew that the Annapolis Maritime Museum was our dream location for our wedding. We loved the waterfront, deck, small yard area, gallery for the reception, and all of the other amenities. We wanted a venue that showed off the beauty of Annapolis and the culture surrounding the town, and we could not have picked a better location. The venue was amazing!! On top of all of that, our experience working with the event manager, Paige, was phenomenal. Paige is responsive, helpful, and extremely efficient. We lived out of state, so we were unable to meet Paige in person, but she responded to all of our e-mail questions as promptly as possible. She eased all of our worries and concerns, and made the experience the best day of our lives. If you choose to have your wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, you will absolutely not regret your choice. It is an amazing venue.

naturally beautiful venue that captures Annapolis
We couldn't be more pleased with our experience with AMM. Paige is thoughtful, helpful, and INCREDIBLY responsive- she made me comfortable to ask any question that came to mind, no matter how small. The venue itself is beautiful and unique- our guests couldn't stop raving about what an awesome space it was. Having so many different sections of the museum allows you to be creative in how you would like the space to flow. Not to mention, the space is so naturally beautiful, it requires minimal decoration! We were inspired by the venue to make our wedding oyster-themed. We comfortably fit 140 guests although our caterer decided to break down two tables to make room for a bigger dance floor (since we had a band as well). Overall, we couldn't recommend this space enough!

Perfect Venue for an Annapolis Wedding
As soon as my husband and I walked into AMM, we knew it was exactly where we wanted to get married. We both love the water and were looking for a venue with that nautical feel. To be able to get married on the deck, even in a rain storm, and still enjoy the water views through the tent windows and sounds of the water splashing underneath was amazing. All our guests loved the venue and we were so happy with how everything looked. We used the boat in the museum for some of our decorations and it looked perfect. The string lighting in the main reception room and under the tent is also very appealing. The venue is pretty much already decorated in the best nautical theme you could ask for.
We hired Paige as our day of coordinator and she took care of everything!! She was so responsive, organized and prepared. She reached out to my vendors to coordinate timelines with them. She helped us run through our rehearsal. She set up all of our DIY decor, held on to the marriage license and handed out tips and payments to vendors. At the end of the night, she packed up all the decor and gifts in my parents car. I highly recommend the Annapolis Maritime Museum and Paige!!

I actually booked AMM before I even personally visited the venue, I saw pictures online and reviews and fell in love with AMM from afar (destination wedding). When we scheduled a walk through I once again fell in love. There is a great cocktail area in the museum itself where guests can sip, mingle and learn about the sealife surrounding them. I hired Paige as my day of coordinator, who is also the AMM event manager so that pair worked amazing since she knew the ins and outs of the venue. We had the flags and lights hanging from the ceiling and that created so much great detail for my nautical themed wedding. We have amazing pictures on the piers as well as in the venue itself. We used the pier to exit via water taxi which was so much fun! The venue was amazing and fit our number of people well with PLENTY of room to spare.

Best Venue in Annapolis
After looking at different venues in Annapolis, we went to the Annapolis Maritime Museum to meet with Paige, and our choice for a venue was clear. Paige was great to work with and even answered our questions while she was on leave which shows how much she cares about her clients. Our caterer had done many weddings at the museum which helped a great deal with planning/set up. We picked the venue also because of the ability to do an indoor/outdoor wedding and reception just in case it rained, the water views, and the uniqueness of the venue. We found that it took very little to decorate because of the museum's exhibits which was great for us. We fit 120 people comfortably in the Bay Room and still had a decent sized dance floor (we had a hard time envisioning that when we were planning). Our weather turned out to be great, and we were able to get great pictures on the docks. Our friends and family could not stop raving about our venue because it was so different than any wedding they had attended. If we had to do it over again - we would choose the Annapolis Maritime Museum without a doubt!

Carlin and Kyle and the Osprey!
When Carlin and Kyle got engaged it was a no brainer that they would get married in Annapolis at the USNA Chapel... But where would the reception take place? After visiting many places that didn't fit their personalities or ballrooms that swallowed them up.. We found the Annapolis Maritime Museum! It was so unique and easy to make it reflect them and their theme. There were many reasons that the museum was the perfect fit but there were two museum treasures that made it the right choice!! The first was the Osprey we saw right when walking in (Kyle is an Osprey pilot and he said it was a sign!) and the second was Paige! She made everything so easy and we felt so comfortable in making all the decisions. She communicated with us even when she had to leave two months before the wedding for her own special delivery :) She left us the caring hands of Caitlin and our day of wedding planner said she could not have done it without Caitlin! We took advantage of the suggested list of vendors and were so happy we did! We found the perfect caterer that has worked many times with the museum and they made it so easy for us!!! We even had a raw bar flowing with oysters to pay tribute to the history of the museum! Our guests had a great time and thanked us for the gorgeous dock and views and we would be seeing those in their Chirstmas card photos!! The best man and ring bearer... Father and son had a blast being hands on with the boats! Pretty good when you can entertain everyone and dance the night away! If you are getting married in Annapolis it just seems right to take advantage of the charm the city has to offer! We would do it all again!

We absolutely LOVED our experience at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. The staff was responsive, knowledgeable, flexible, and wonderful to work with. The venue it's self was perfect for our needs. We ended up with 125 people along with a dance floor and an 8 piece band and there was plenty of room for the reception. The ceremony was a little tight, but we also had our ceremony perpendicular to the Bay Room door which looks like cuts down on seat numbers. If you're looking for a unique waterfront venue that is affordable and close to other amenities, this is it!

I feel in love with the Annapolis Maritime Museum from attending events throughout the year and couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue to fit our personalities. I loved the history of the building and incorporated the oyster theme into our wedding by hiring an oyster shucker and decorations. We got married on September 7th, the weather was perfect and enough daylight for the ceremony, cocktail hour and pictures. The coordinator at the museum, Paige, was wonderful to work with and always available to answer questions. Our guest had so much fun exploring the museum and walking around getting pictures on the docks. The barge house was very convenient to get ready in and to store belongings during the wedding. With the water views and location make AMM hands down the best venue in Annapolis. I can’t say enough great things about our experience and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in the Annapolis Area.

We hosted our 40th Wedding anniversary party for 100 of our family and friends and the event was a huge success. Our guests who were from all of the country and Canada loved hanging out on the back deck overlooking the Chesapeake!
Would definitely recommend this venue for any type pf celebration!

We had our wedding here recently and we could not have made a better choice for a venue! Not only is it beautiful on it’s own, but everyone involved at the museum made our day perfect!! Rain (which it did) or shine, it’s the perfect spot!! Paige was wonderful to work with!

Choosing Annapolis Maritime Museum for our wedding location was hands down the best decision we made. It is in such a beautiful and convenient location if you're looking in Annapolis. Our guests had so much fun walking around on the docks/deck, and the side yard was very useful for oysters and corn hole, etc. It was also very reasonably priced in comparison with some of the other venues we were looking at who didn't offer as much. You really can't beat having that deck with the awning as a back up in case of bad weather. There were so many perks. Also, Paige and the staff were very easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fabulous venue. Paige was a pleasure to work with, and the venue was beautiful. Our guests loved and raved over the fun interior. From its small aquarium to its oyster shells, and its sailboat inside to the breathtaking views on the boat and from the dock, this venue was perfect and fit with historic Annapolis so well. We had oysters served from the same area in the exhibit, and the guests loved the view on the deck with the breeze blowing in. We could not have asked for more and were very happy with this venue and a special thank you again to Paige for going the extra mile for us to make our wedding day turn out so well.

We held our rehearsal dinner here and it was the perfect setting for an Annapolis/Chesapeake Bay dinner venue. We had cocktails on the beautiful deck with the fantastic view, then went inside for a fun dinner with 60 people. Most of the guests were not from the area so they really enjoyed the setting which represented the special feel of Annapolis. Paige was so easy to work with and was very helpful. She was responsive and patient . The list of recommended venders turned out to be especially helpful as we had great food, flowers and service from each of them. The room may seem plain at first glance, but in the evening with the lights on and the tables set, it really was lovely. We wanted a casual rehearsal dinner that allowed guests to enjoy the beauty of the Chesapeake and it turned out perfectly.

I commissioned AMM to host a reception for the Naval Academy's Women's Rowing Team on a Tuesday afternoon during commissioning week. It was the perfect venue for our 70-person gathering, great view, adequate space, with protection from the elements if necessary. My interactions with the event planning staff were professional and their previous collaborations with our caterer, Ken's Creative Kitchen, assured a reception where it was all about the attendees. As the hosts we worried only about the cake and the flowers.
I would choose the Annapolis Maritime Museum in a heartbeat should a similar occasion arise.

Megan and I could not have had a more perfect experience and wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. The venue itself is gorgeous and easy to turn into your very own dream wedding. The backdrop makes for some great pictures, and all the vendors they suggested we work with were phenomenal. Paige was so helpful and quick to answer any of our questions and was there the day of to celebrate as well. When looking for a venue, Megan and I really wanted a place near the water, that would be easily accessible to downtown for our many out of town guests, and had meaning to the Maryland community. The fact that the museum runs educational programs for local kids, does bay conservation, and is the old McNasby's oysters building just solidified our desire to have our wedding there. The ceremony was on the dock which then became the perfect place for people to cool off from the dance floor with some high top tables to lean on. We loved that the art work changes periodically and were pleasantly surprised we got a lot of water/fisherman photos as the exhibit during our special day. It just added to our beachy/nautical/rustic feel. I have never had more fun than on my wedding day and will remember it forever.

The Annapolis Maritime Museum was the perfect setting for our December 23rd wedding reception. From the beginning of the planning process, the museum staff was super supportive, responsive and accommodating. Their venue manager, Paige, quickly responded to all of our emails and worked with us to come view the space as many times as we needed. Their preferred vendor list was extremely helpful in the planning process. The space fit our 140 guests perfectly for our plated dinner, with plenty of room to socialize and dance throughout the night. The tented deck added space for our guests to get fresh air while staying warm. Caitlin from their staff was present the night of the event and was extremely helpful to all of our vendors as they set up and broke down the event.

We had our industry holiday party at the Maritime Museum and it worked out perfectly! They provided all the essentials (tables, chairs, linens and a kitchen/prep area) so our party was easy to set up. Great atmosphere, especially with the deck overlooking the Bay - Definitely recommend this space!

Wedding & reception at the venue, then off to the after parties, stopping at the great pubs/bars on your way back to your hotel! Beautiful venue for our wedding day. We ran into a last minute change of venue and Paige was quick and responsive. She made us feel important and provided us with a tour, contract, and vendor list on the same day! We were able to pull everything off with 3 weeks left. We highly recommend the venue!

Loved this venue! We squeezed 160 guests into the main room and had an amazing night full of dancing. Kids and families loved the exhibits and fish tank; such a unique place.
With a November wedding in the 50s the indoor/outdoor options were perfect. We were able to pull down the side tents on the deck to keep wind from interfering with the party without obstructing the amazing view of the water. Also, the location close to downtown Annapolis makes it fun for guests to explore the area!

As someone who has spent their whole life around the Chesapeake Bay and Annapolis, the AMM was a dream wedding venue. We had a late Sept., Fri. evening wedding for 140 guests and it was absolutely gorgeous. From the beginning, working with Paige of AMM was easy-- she is straightforward, quick replying to emails, and helpful. AMM was well known by all of our vendors. Paige even gave me a few awesome vendor recommendations from her experience overseeing events at AMM. I loved not having to worry too much about the weather, because of the tent over the outdoor area. My bridesmaids & I got ready for the wedding in the barge house, conveniently located on the same property as the museum. There were plenty of places for photo opportunities-- some of my favorites being on the docks with the water in the background. Parking was easy for guests at a nearby marina. Our short & sweet ceremony was outside on the deck. My bridesmaids, father and I arrived to the ceremony by boat. The caterer was easily able to transform the ceremony space on the outdoor deck into the cocktail hour space. Guests loved being outside on the beautiful evening with friends & family. Our reception was inside, and although we had 14 round tables (and a DJ, cake table, etc.), the room felt spacious! There was plenty of room for dancing, and the lights and lanterns were a nice touch in photos. The only downside to AMM was the time restriction, presumably put in place restrict noise. In order to add an extra hour (that we very well needed, esp.starting later on a Friday), transportation had to be provided for our guests to a parking lot that is walking distance away. It was an additional expense and headache that prevented us from adding time, but not exactly the museum's fault. We continued the "after party" at a nearby pub! AMM was a remarkable wedding venue for us & I can't imagine being married anywhere else. My family loved the venue so much that they want to have another party there soon!

We had our company holiday party at the Maritime Museum, and it went perfectly. Paige, the events manager, made sure to communicate well and had everything in order. Mary, the administrative manager, was at the event and was of great help. We had 100 people attend, and there was space for more.

My husband and I had a courthouse wedding earlier this year but still wanted to celebrate with our family and friends at some point. We went to a rehearsal dinner at the Museum a couple of years ago and I fell in love with it. So, when we decided we wanted to have the celebration in Annapolis (my husband's hometown) I only looked at one venue. The Museum is just so unique, low-key, and genuinely Annapolis. I also loved giving our venue money to a Museum and good cause. Once we met Paige to tour the venue and knew our date was available, we were set. Paige was very responsive to our request to set up a meeting and flexible with our limited availability to meet (we do not live in the area).
Since we were already married we did not have a ceremony at the Museum, just a December reception for 126 guests starting at 6pm. When you tour the space, it seems like the capacity of 150 would be tight, but we ended up having plenty of room. It was also daylight when we toured the space, so were bummed that it would be dark by the time our guests arrived and they wouldn't really get the water views, but the venue looked GORGEOUS at night. We went with all white tables, chairs, tablecloths, plateware, etc and gold accents (framed pictures, table numbers, vases, votives, etc) and white and green bouquets and it looked amazing. We had two heaters outside on the tented deck and guests loved being out there for the raw bar, drinks, apps, dessert, etc. I loved that we didn't have to worry about weather - it was nice that it didn't rain/snow for outdoor pictures prior but it would not have put a damper on the main event at all!
I could go on and on about how perfect the venue was. So many guests asked us how we found it. The only downsides (which I'm not going to dock any points for since we knew all of this going in) were that the party has to end by 10pm and that buses can't get all the way down to the venue. Could not recommend AMM more!!!

Annapolis Maritime Museum was the perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding reception. The cocktail hour was on the waterfront deck and then flowed into the museum for dinner. The food was set up on the boats with an amazing aquarium around one of the poles. It was a beautiful venue and Paige was great to work with.

We rented the Barge House for a business meeting (7 people) and everything was absolutely perfect with the space – our clients loved it. It is a small house that is part of the Maritime Museum. You have the whole space to use as you want and is good for groups of 5-10. I don’t have any complaints – the view was perfect, the AV worked great, we liked having the kitchen space, it was comfortable for our group, and parking wasn’t an issue. We will absolutely recommend the space to others and hope to have a meeting in the near future that we can come back.

We had our wedding at AMM on August 18th and I honestly can't even begin to describe how amazing it was! From our first tour at AMM, we knew that's where we wanted to get married! The venue itself is so unique and you are able to utilize every space. We knew we wanted our wedding in Annapolis and something waterfront and this is as waterfront as you can get! Our ceremony was on the covered dock, reception was inside in the main room, and cocktail hour was inside in the museum area/outside on the little beach. Our guests couldn't get over how beautiful and unique it was! The price is a steal and because it's a museum, a portion of the money goes back to the museum and the Bay and we loved that idea (since we are Maryland natives :)). The venue manager, Paige, is so sweet and helpful and I HIGHLY recommend hiring her for your Day Of Coordinator. She was so quick to answer any question I had and as a bride that's honestly the most helpful thing! I was a little nervous about the parking situation but even that turned out great because whoever didn't cab to the venue could park right next door at Horn Point Marina (they provided parking signs). Our parents were able to park right outside the museum which made unloading/loading everything so easy. Also, because it's a museum, you don't need many decorations/flowers and that is a huge money saver! For anyone looking for a nautical wedding venue, this place is the BEST!! I had my wedding at AMM and it was beyond incredible. The views were breath taking, the staff was wonderful, and every part of this venue just blew me away! My guests raved about the venue as well. As soon as we walked in for our initial visit, we knew it was the place for our wedding. We had about 110 people and the space was a great size for our group. Enough room to space out and still an intimate feel. We had the best time and if I had to do it over again, I would pick the AMM every single time. Best venue ever!

We recently celebrated our wedding reception at AMM! Paige (their venue coordinator) was so lovely to work with, and was so responsive and accommodating to us. So many of our guests told us how lovely the venue was, and how unique of a choice it was. The waterfront deck was particularly popular! The Annapolis Maritime Museum was my dream wedding venue after I went to a wedding here a few years ago. Right after I got engaged last spring, I contacted them immediately to see what openings they had for 2017! They are so accommodating, easy to communicate with, and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. The venue is already decorated so well, you don't need to worry about much except for adding your own personal touches. I also love the venue is part indoor, part outdoor so that put me at ease we wouldn't need an emergency plan if the weather happened to be bad that day. Of course planning a wedding can be very stressful at times, but AMM made everything so easy for us! I 100% recommend to any Maryland couples :)

The PERFECT venue for our son's rehearsal dinner. Our guests loved it. The museum's waterfront setting in historic Eastport evokes the spirit of old Annapolis and is just delightful. Unique, charming and memorable. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We were very pleased with the entire experience.

This venue is perfect for a wedding reception. We chose the venue unseen (besides from online pictures) and could not have been happier with the choice. We had 200 guests, and there was plenty of room for tables, food stations, bars, dance floor, and the band.
Paige is great to work with and very responsive. She is helpful, able to answer any questions, and provide great recommendations for local vendors. You cannot go wrong with selecting the Annapolis Maritime Museum for your wedding reception!

I have to take a moment to thank the awesome team at the Annapolis Maritime Museum for being such all stars both during the wedding planning process on our big day. My husband and I fell in love with the museum at our first visit with Cindy. It's just a special, super neat space. We loved the more industrial feel and it was definitely the "Annapolis", non-hotel, waterfront location that we were looking for. It was the first venue we looked at the one we compared all other site visits to.
Even though the space is relatively compact space, it definitely works for a big event. We had 150 guests plus a band and sit down dinner and were able to make the number work comfortably by breaking down a few tables after dinner to give us some breather room for dancing. The newly tented deck is gorgeous. And despite the fact that it ended up snowing on our wedding day in April(!!!), we were able to bring in space heaters at the last minute and it made the space completely usable all night even with temperatures in the 30s (note: that took three industrial space heaters, rented through Absolute Party Rental who were also great!).
I will admit that I was a higher maintenance bride. I think I made at least 10 visits to the museum pre-wedding and that's being conservative. The patience, kindness and partnership extended to me by Cindy and Paige was absolutely amazing. They made me feel like our day was important in the midst of the hundreds of other events and activities going on at the museum. They were such a pleasure to work with and our trust in them was well deserved. When it was all said and done, our wedding day was perfect and flawless and I couldn't thank these ladies enough for that. I would highly recommend the Annapolis Maritime Museum as a fantastic wedding venue and look forward to going to many other events there in the years to come!

We could not have been more thrilled with our choice to have our wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. Since day one we knew the atmosphere there was unique and an affordable place for an Annapolis waterfront wedding! Communication with Cindy and Paige was always professional and prompt answering anything that I ever needed. They were amazing in working with my wedding coordinator and other vendors. Our day was absolute perfect, and guests continue to rave about how cool the venue was! We utilized every space and guests enjoyed every minute. We had the ceremony on the deck over looking the water and it was heavenly! The deck only fit about 100 chairs and some of our guests had to stand, however, our ceremony was short and sweet. The new tent is incredible and the lighting makes it even more beautiful! The side yard was set up with cocktail tables on the newly refinished yard and we had a three piece band play on the stage, the museum area was used for our bar area, photo booth, stationary hors d'ourves and oyster bar and the reception room fit about 110 guests comfortably with our 8 piece band. We had to seat 30 guests out on the deck but they had the best seats in the house. Our only complaint is that it was a very hot day (cool and breezy at night) and the air conditioning was not working well inside. Other than that everything was perfection and we still get feedback from our guests stating it was one of the coolest weddings they have been to because of the venue! Thank you for everything AMM!

The Annapolis Maritime Museum was truly the perfect place for a beautiful bayside wedding! If you want to be on the water, this is the spot. The massive dock and piers provide plenty of outdoor space and an amazing backdrop for your ceremony. Our wedding was 100 people and it was the perfect size! But you can certainly do 150. The setting is intimate, fun, and unique. The best spot in Annapolis for sure! Cindy and Paige we're extremely helpful from the early planning stages all the way to the big day!

AMM was the perfect place to hold our ceremony and reception. We worked closely with both Paige and Cindy, and they were wonderful throughout the process. I was a long-distance bride, so I really appreciated that they responded promptly to emails and phone calls; I always felt like they were taking the time to communicate with me.
The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. We did the ceremony on the back dock, cocktail hour in the museum area, and dinner/dancing in the banquet room. I had about 100 guests, and it felt extremely roomy. All of my guests commented on how beautiful it was – and I loved that it required zero décor because it was so gorgeous on its own merits. The view out the back during the ceremony was so quintessentially Annapolis without being overwhelmingly nautical – just gorgeous bay scenes, a sailboat going by every now and then. They now have a tent up over the back dock, which definitely saved me money. I don’t know that I would’ve rented one because the weather looked great, but I definitely should’ve – the shade it provided on a hot summer day was invaluable. I had older guests that really appreciated it, even during a short ceremony.
The cocktail hour (and later, stations for dinner) was in the museum area. This was definitely crucial to have as well – our younger guests were so entertained by playing in the boat, watching the crabs, etc, that it really freed up their parents to enjoy themselves. We kept the doors closed to the dock after the ceremony, so it was a nice place to which people could retreat if the music got too loud or they wanted to get some photos outside. We used the barge house pre-ceremony for some freshening up and as a staging area. It was really great to have that area to leave our bags / supplies and we could go back there as needed throughout the night to have a separate restroom, space away from guests, etc.
I highly recommend AMM for any event, but especially a wedding!

Paige coordinated the events of the day at this amazing locale. She was always available to us to answer any questions we had in advance...and was the site supervisor the evening of the wedding. The venue is most versatile; offering two indoor areas, with more than ample space for dining and dancing...plus a large, tented outdoor deck, offering beautiful views of the water. We highly recommend this spot for a successful event!
