    The best experience in Albuquerque!

    I looked at several other places in Albuquerque and I couldn’t find “the one”. The team here never made me feel like I was taking up too much time or was a bother for trying on 10 dresses. They helped me narrow down what I liked and went over customization of the dress I already loved to help make it exactly what I wanted! If I could imagine a perfect dress experience this would be it. They were so kind to me and my girls. We were all laughing at times and then cried when I found the one! To anyone who is struggling to find their perfect dress AND get an amazing experience, save yourself some time from looking at other places and come here!

    Perfect Wedding Dress

    I had two bridal appointments scheduled to hopefully find my dream wedding dress! My first stop was Ann Matthews and little did I know that would be my only stop! From the minute I walked in, my consultant Veronica was amazing! She made me feel so comfortable and even when I was ready to give up with my search for a dress at Ann Matthews, she pulled out the most stunning dress and recommended I just *try* it on, little did I know I would finally find the most beautiful dress that brought tears to my eyes! Thank you Veronica, Jay (The Owner) and all the Ann Matthews staff for truly making me feel like your #1 bride!

    The BEST Bridal Shop!

    Ann Matthews is simply amazing!! When I first walked in the bridal side I was already so impressed. It is clean, elegant, and organized! I had THREE courteous, professional, and knowledgeable women helping me find the perfect dress! I felt super picky about what I wanted and they were sooo patient with me! I was almost giving up and Desiree decided to grab a dress that was completely different than all the ones I was trying and I completely fell in love with it!!! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a wedding dress! This was the 4th store I tried from Phoenix and Albuquerque and by far the best! They even include your fiancé with some fun stuff that I won’t spoil, but it’s super cute and fun! ❤️

    Absolutely wonderful. Savannah and the rest of the staff made my experience perfect. This was my first and last stop. They have a great selection of dresses at different price ranges, and even help out military families. So happy I came here first.

    Ann Matthews helped me find my dream dress and they made it so much fun! Deseree was my consultant and she was so helpful and friendly. I brought pictures of dresses I liked and she did a great job of picking out ones she thought I might like that were in my budget. I also really liked the extras that made it fun and special for me and my guests. This was my first and last stop. I would recommend everyone going here first!

    I love Ann Matthews Bridal! I went to literally every bridal store in albuquerque and was really scared because ann matthews was the last one on my list. all the stores were great but i'm reviewing ann matthews because they had my dream dress! I loved it so much and from day 1 to pick up they have been great to me with their time and service. Thank you for providing my wedding day gown!

    The staff at Ann Matthews is extremely knowledgable and helpful. They have outfitted my whole wedding party and really offer a great selection. I am so glad I found them. They even facilitated designing a custom veil with the designer. I couldn't sing their praises enough.

    This shop is truly wonderful to work with! Very friendly and professional with a great selection of unique dresses to choose from for both bride and bridesmaids as well as awesome choices for tuxes!!! Great prices, excellent value, and they go above and beyond to make their parties happy! Emma was a wonderful help from choosing the dress all the way to preserving the dress! We had a problem with the dress that was related to the designer/manufacturer, not at all the shop, and they did everything possible to help the situation and fix the problem! Highly recommended for dresses and tuxes!!!!

    Ann Matthews Bridal came to my rescue with only a few weeks left until our big day! Amidst stressful nursing school finals and wedding planning, a non-profit from whom we bought my first dress went under. Your website drew me in with the "Rushing to the Altar" section. I booked an appointment the next day and bought the first dress that fit and could be altered in that small amount of time. Your staff was incredibly accommodating and understanding. The owner, sales staff, and seamstress were superb! This family-owned business is a real gem in Albuquerque. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to work with you all. (In fact, I wish I had gone to you all first!) Thank you SO much!

    They were so helpful in helping me choose my dress, veil, and hair accessory! With only 4 weeks until my wedding I was very nervous about finding a dress. The staff was wonderful at helping me relax and letting me know that they would help me find a dress. I couldn't have been happier with all the options I had and the dress as well as accessories I chose. Their alterations department was wonderful as well making sure I looked perfect for my wedding day.

    Ann Matthew's was a great place to get my bridesmaid's dresses, they were very thorough in everything they did. They even walked me through a couple of snags that needed to be taken care of. They always answered their phone and if they did not they would call you back right away. They were a great help to me. Thank you!

    I am a professional violinist and I walked in looking to find four couture gowns to perform in. I was on a tight deadline, because my plane left Albuquerque the very next day. I was convinced that I would be lucky if I found one dress to fit my short, hour glass frame. With most shops, I am also not taken seriously or treated as an adult, as I am tiny and look like I am about half my age. Jason (the manager) was kind and professional from the moment I called him through the entire process of receiving my dresses. I was given individualized attention, the salespeople didn't just tell me I looked great in everything to make a sale, and they really listened to my dress requirements (including not too much skin, fabrics that allowed ease of motion and didn't show sweat, dresses that would be easy to pack for plane travel, and that would make me look age appropriate). Within just a few hours (on the day I walked in!!), I found ALL of the dresses I needed and Jennifer (the alterations lady) measured me in each dress. The alterations were complicated and included taking in multi-layered hems, taking in several beaded dresses, adding boning and rebuilding bodices, adding cups, taking in lace sleeves, and creating several trains. Jennifer was able to do every alteration within just a couple of days and the dresses shipped out to my home almost immediately. They arrived safely and in perfect condition to wear right out of the box. Unbelievable on only one fitting! As anyone buying a high-end dress knows, the alterations make or break how you look in a gown and Jennifer really knows her stuff. I will be ordering wedding gown preservation from Ann Matthews for the wedding dress I wore ten years ago. I also plan on purchasing several other dresses for orchestral work and for future solo performances. I wouldn't continue to shell out money to a shop I didn't trust. A+!

    I was definitely not expecting to find my dress a year before my wedding but when my sister booked an appointment at Ann Matthews I didn’t see any harm in looking around. Upon arrival, I spoke with a consultant and picked out a few gowns from their inventory magazines. The second dress I tried on was perfect and I was sold. I went to a few other salons but nothing compared. The dress was ordered a few months later and came in about 4 months before my wedding. Unfortunately there were major problems with the way that it fit and the way it was made. The dress I had tried on in the store was a size 14 and I needed something like a 4. I have a very long waist so the torso in the size 14 fit really well but when it arrived in my size it was too short in the torso to fit properly around where my natural curves were. In hindsight, this probably should have been mentioned and discussed before we ordered but I just didn’t realize that the torso would be so much shorter. Luckily, Ann Matthews has a seamstress, Yevgeniya, who works miracles. She took in the dress at the top by more than 4 inches, and had to let out the hips and thigh area too. The dress was alencon lace and very delicate but she was able to work the fabric without ruining any of it. She also reworked the top of the dress to replace rhinestones that didn’t seem to flow with the rest of the gown. This was another huge undertaking and she surprised me with the intricacy of beadwork that she did in place of the rhinestones. It was absolutely beautiful and in the end the dress fit and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided throughout the process.

    Savannah and staff were all so awesome and helpful and polite with everything! Found THE dress on the first day of trying dresses on. I'm a happy customer. :) They also involved my fiance with some trivia questions which I answered correctly and got $$$ taken off of the price of the dress.
