Ann is absolutely amazing at what she does! She is mostly a one woman team, but she somehow manages to capture all of the big and little special moments with ease. She has such a great eye and catches the best candid shots. As soon as we connected with Ann, we instantly knew she was a great fit for us. She was very professional and communicative, even sending us activity and dining guides for the island, which was very thoughtful. We both are camera shy people, but Ann made us feel very comfortable and relaxed right off the bat. When we weren't taking couples photos, we barely even noticed that she was around snapping away! Ann also works very quickly, we greatly appreciated a sneak peak of our photos to enjoy a few days after our wedding and our gallery was ready a little before a month after our wedding. Her beautiful work speaks for itself, we are forever grateful to have secured her to capture our special day and cannot recommend her services more! -

Working with Ann for our wedding was a wonderful experience. Her clear and timely communication made planning for group & family photos easy. On the day of the wedding, she was warm, calm, & organized. She did a great job of ensuring we had a wide variety of shots to choose from without taking us away from our guests for too long. Reviewing the photos after the fact, we really feel like she beautifully captured the spirit of the wedding. We highly recommend that folks getting married on the Big Island work with Ann! -

We have absolutely no regrets picking Ann for our wedding photography.
Ann was responsive, punctual, and engaged. We didn't have any hesitations choosing her as our photographer out of the many we contacted and interviewed while planning our big island wedding.
We loved her portfolio. Her shots were genuine, vibrant, and captured the moments and atmosphere that we wanted in our photos.
She was transparent about her pricing and the product she delivers. She offered the option we wanted which was to hire a second photographer day of which she would arrange to get extra shots from different angles which she would also edit.
Before the event, she and our coordinators (sunshower weddings) communicated together with us to arrange the day so we could get every shot we wanted of our family and friends.
The day of, she went above and beyond. She suffered an injury to her foot that morning, but still showed up and captured and delivered over a thousand photos! The best part, we got the preview photos the day after the wedding and the entire album within a month.
All our friends and family had a lovely time re-living our special day through her lens.
We can't recommend her more highly. -

From the moment Ann arrived on our wedding day, we knew we were in the best hands. She has this incredible ability to blend fun, excitement, and total professionalism all at once. Working with her felt effortless—like having a good friend by our side who happened to be capturing every meaningful moment with an artist’s eye.
Ann made us feel comfortable the entire day, even during moments that could have easily felt awkward or staged. Instead, she kept everything natural and joyful. Her energy was contagious, and she brought out genuine smiles, laughter, and emotion in everyone around her.
When we received our photos, we were absolutely blown away. Every image was stunning—beautifully composed, full of life, and a perfect reflection of how the day actually felt. She managed to freeze not just moments, but emotions: the excitement, the tenderness, the celebration, and all the little in-between interactions that made the day so special. The photos are vibrant, intimate, and timeless… everything we hoped for and more.
What we experienced with Ann wasn’t just great photography; it was having someone who truly cared about our story and our experience. She captured our wedding exactly as we saw it—and even showed us moments we didn’t get to witness ourselves. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the day over and over again.
We couldn’t recommend Ann Ferguson Photography more. She is talented, warm, creative, and an absolute joy to work with. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without her, and we’ll treasure these photos forever. -

Me and my husband were so pleased with Ann’s photography, she was so professional and kind. Her friendly energy made getting a ton of pictures taken feel very comfortable. The pictures are so magical, they are everything we could have wanted. The photos are so crisp and clear they really take me back to the moment they were taken. She got the pictures back to us in a very timely manner. I highly recommend!! -

We were in tears with how perfect our wedding day photos turned out. It rained quite a bit on our wedding day - didn’t make a difference for us, as we enjoyed every minute of it - but we were worried how our photos would turn out. Ann is a phenomenally talented photographer - working her magic throughout the evening and taking advantage of every bit of scenery and lighting opportunity.
My husband and I have never had professional photos taken - and were honestly a bit concerned with how we pose and show our love on camera with someone we had never met in person. Ann immediately made us feel comfortable. She guided us through golden hour with ease, having fun with us, and helping us showcase how much we truly love each other - and you can truly see that show itself in our photos.
We can’t stop showing people (it’s a problem lol). And every single person we show, the first thing they say is “wow, your photographer is amazing”. She is a professional, worth every penny, and gosh if we lived closer, I’d want her to take every picture for us for the rest of our lives.
Hire her! She will make your special day even more special by capturing memories you can look back on for years to come. Thank you Ann!!!! -

We hired Ann Ferguson as our photographer for our two night wedding celebration in August 2023 in Kona, Hawaii. Ann was very professional on our introduction call. She was also flexible in scheduling the timing of her services to meet our desires and wants for photos. I wanted to focus more on the staged family shots and so we created a package and schedule that catered to us. Ann was familiar with both of our venues, Papa Kona and Royal Kona. She was on time, polite to all the guests and organized. Our photos turned out great and we got them back to us sooner than we expected! I really appreciated that she sent us 'sneak peak' photos just a couple of days after the ceremonies! We would definitely recommend Ann! -

Ann is truly amazing!! Her work is really beautiful - like the ENTIRE gallery is great, but she's also a really awesome person to spend the day with! She made us feel very comfortable and guided us through natural posing. I knew from the first phone call that she was the perfect fit for us on our big day. Her energy is bubbly yet calm and made every call and our wedding day relaxed and fun. I also really love her true, but vibrant editing style. She really embraces the natural landscape, making our wedding photos that much more stunning. I am truly over the moon every time I look at our pictures! I cannot recommend Ann enough! She was fun to work with, and provided us with SO many beautiful photos, she is a true gem! -

Ann was amazing and I’m so glad we chose her to capture our special day! She was very responsive to any email I sent. She was so friendly and made us feel super comfortable when taking pictures! She was also very efficient and patient with all of our group pictures. We got a few sneak peek pictures a day or two after our wedding - and the remainder of our gallery within a month (as promised!). We loved every single photo! -

The Best of the Best
We made the incredibly bold decision in the middle of the pandemic to do a destination wedding in Hawaii, we truly had no idea how much would be thrown our way. The biggest of course being that about 10 months out our wedding photographer had to back out due to personal reasons. We went right away to do a search. I was looking for something really specific, because my wedding dress wasn’t white, and our decorations were fairly minimalistic so I was looking for a photographer who could really bring the colors. I called Anne and within minutes of submitting a request she called back, explained her process and we got a date on the calendar. She answered any crazy question I had right up until the day of the wedding, and then she was ABSOLUTE magic! The whole day I felt supported, like I was getting all the shots I had asked for. She delivered the photos so quickly after the wedding and even took a portrait of each of us individually which was SO special. She captured all of the perfect moments of our very special day, and I believe she did it with her whole heart in it. And because of that we have memories we can treasure forever!
If you are thinking even for a moment to consider someone else, don’t. She’s the best, and worth every penny spent.

Phenomenal wedding photographer (and lovely person)!
I cannot recommend Ann Ferguson highly enough for wedding photographs. She is an incredibly calm presence, which was greatly appreciated on a day that could easily feel less than calm.
Neither of us love having our pictures taken but she made everyone feel so at ease that the whole process felt easy and painless. She also made a point of being incredibly quick with the shoot-- she took many pictures, but it didn't feel like we were standing around for hours having the same picture taken.
She was incredibly helpful prior to the wedding, sending recommendations of vendors, venues, and even guides of restaurants and things to do on the Island-- she truly went above and beyond just providing information about photography on the day of!
And the best part is the photos themselves-- they were INCREDIBLE. We got some sneak peaks within a day or two, which was so exciting (and really unexpected- I never imagined we'd get anything back that quickly!), and we got the full set within a month. I thought it would be easy to pick a couple of our favorites, but I cannot decide between them because there are just so many stunning photographs.
I cannot recommend Ann enough- between her demeanor, customer service and her skill as a photographer, everything about the experience was PERFECT! -

Where do I even start?? Ann was so amazing to work with, from the first time we spoke on the phone (when we were still deciding our photographer) I knew she would be the one to capture the most important day of my life. She was so easy going, listened and gave us her suggestions/advice. The days leading up to the big day, I changed my timeline a few times and she was so accommodating each time! My now husband and I knew we would be in good hands. Ann got all the angles and romantic shots, it really felt like we were living a dream of the days we were on Instagram looking at weddings in Hawaii. We had a pretty long day with her, from getting ready for our first look, Chinese tea ceremony, walking down the aisle, walking back in with alpacas, sunset pictures to partying all night with our guests. Nonetheless, I was so tired towards the end of the night, but Ann was still capturing everyone on the dance floor (we had some really good laughs when looking at the pictures) Most importantly, all the pictures were ready in only one month! We can't wait to show all our friends and family. Overall, as you can tell, we had an amazing experience with Ann and would definitely recommend! -

She was very good with communicating before the wedding to make sure she knew everything that I wanted from her. She was friendly and easy going during the whole day. She was personable, professional, and timely and her ability to capture natural light photos was second to none! I'm so glad I used Ann for this photo session and highly recommend her to anyone!
