Anita is one of the best people you can trust to speak on your big day! She went above and beyond to get to know us both as a couple and as individuals. She is very communicative throughout the process and will accommodate you in any way in terms of how you can make your ceremony truly special. It felt like a family friend was up there at the altar with us. Can't recommend her enough.

Just the two of us

I am beyond grateful that we had Anita as our wedding celebrant. She is truly an amazing, kind, compassionate, understanding person and also an incredible story-teller & speaker.

My fiancé and I had been together for over a decade before we got married and in that time we created a lot of memories. We wanted our wedding ceremony to be reflective of the love we share & the life we have built together. We felt that the celebration of our marriage deserved to be personal and we wanted to steer clear of a traditional or overly religious wedding ceremony.
Anita asked us questions & chatted with us about our life together and from that was able to create a thoughtful, meaningful, beautiful wedding ceremony for us. She told our entire love story, made our family and friends feel included, came up with creative elements and really made it feel like US.
We have received so many compliments on how personal and special our wedding ceremony was and our guests truly enjoyed being part of it!
Anita was also such a force of calm throughout the day. She dealt with my wedding jitters with such grace & compassion and her support was much appreciated.

Anita was also incredibly flexible and understanding when we had to reschedule our wedding from 2020 to 2021 due to the pandemic.

Amazing ceremony

Responsive, Professional and Personalized

As a non-denominational couple that has family members that are very faith based, we spent a lot of time looking for an officiant that could turn our love story into a ceremony that would be loved by all. From our first meeting to the wedding, Anita was very responsive, professional, and always had a handle on next steps to keep everything moving forward without it being overwhelming. She took so many personal elements and jokes from our love story and turned it into a beautiful ceremony that we continue to get compliments on. She’s great at giving recommendations and personalized ideas if you get stuck on what poems etc. to include. That was a huge help! She was also great at directing family during the rehearsal etc. so that everyone knew what to do on the big day. There are lots of photos of family going between tears and laughter all ceremony, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. We highly recommend Anita!

We don't even know where to begin with Anita! My husband and I met her by chance at a showcase for the venue we chose, and when we walked by, we IMMEDIATELY fell in love with her and her personality! She's the sweetest person ever - very kind, patient, caring, and understanding - especially with our short planning period! (Just 6 weeks!) You will definitely love her witty sense of humor and attention to detail in crafting the perfect ceremony for you and your partner! Our guests still make positive comments about Anita and our wedding ceremony! We both love her, and she has become a part of our lives.

Incredible - the most lovely ceremony ever

Anita was incredible. It has been two moths since our wedding this past October, and every wedding guest that I’ve talked to since cannot stop raving about how lovely our ceremony was! The first thing people say to me is “that was the best ceremony I have ever been to”. It’s so sweet to hear that from so many people and it brings a smile to my face every time I hear the compliments. We asked for a personal ceremony, yet funny, and for our guests to walk away feeling like they know us and our love story better... and Anita completely nailed our wishes! Everyone was laughing and crying and had full hearts. In my opinion, the ceremony is the most important and cherished part of a wedding, and because of Anita our wedding was perfect. Advice for future bride and grooms — give the questionnaire all of your attention and thought.. it’s important for Anita to use your answers to write the ceremony (and bonus is that it’s fun to do, it brings back great memories and allows you both to reflections on your relationship before the big day)!

Anita handcrafted our beautiful Hindu-fusion ceremony, and it was so amazing and beautiful. She knew so much about all the cultural aspects already, which was a huge plus for us! Working with her remotely, we were able to communicate via email to incorporate all the things we wanted to convey in our ceremony, and she sent us multiple drafts and edits to make sure it was perfect. And it was!! She made it all easy and wonderful, and we cannot recommend her more. She's extremely professional, but also just a really great person, which makes working with her all the better.

I had found Anita after doing a preliminary search for officiants and then my wedding planner recommended her to me! It was meant to be. Anita was organized from the very beginning and work with us and our short notice. She was patient and had lovely questions for us. She created a very intimate and lovely ceremony in which we cried, laughed and overall felt loved and connected with each other and our guests! Before we met Anita I wasn't particularly excited about our ceremony. To me it just felt like the boring part we had to get through before we could get to the party. But after our first meeting with Anita my mimdset had completely changed. Talking with her and hearing how she planned to make our ceremony special and tailored to us, I started to get excited. When we got our first draft of the ceremony I got more excited. And when we got the second draft I started to get nervous. Because reading through the beautiful ceremony Anita crafted for us I was afraid I was just going to cry the whole time. And sure enough, that's what happened. It was such an amazingly touching and entertaining ceremony that for the rest of the night and days after people kept coming up to us to tell us how much they liked it and how they had never seen a ceremony like that before. No matter what kind of ceremony you want I would recommend Anita to you because she will put significant effort into making sure it is just what you want. I can confidently say that our wedding would not have been as special without her.

We were lucky enough to have Anita officiate our intimate ceremony. We are lucky enough to be friends with her still, she's seriously one of the coolest women I know! She asked personal questions to get to know us and crafted perfect vows. She stood outside with us in freezing weather, smiling the whole time. She customized our ceremony to include a hand fasting ritual and excess every expectation. So lucky to have met Anita, and you will be too! She loves what she does and it shows!

I cannot say enough good things about Anita! My spouse and I were putting together a "planned elopement" in Chicago, while living in Arizona. Anita was recommended by our planner and she was a perfect fit. Somehow, she managed to put together a ceremony that was just "us." With just phone calls, emails and her questionnaires, she was able to write a ceremony that captured who we are and what we wanted to say to each other that day. And did I mention that she was fun? We loved Anita from the moment we met her. We met with a couple other officiants during our search, but we knew Anita was the best fit for our wedding within minutes of meeting her. Anita is seriously a delight to work with! My wife and I were at a wedding that she officiated and loved the way she personalized it for our friends! We knew we wanted the exact same experience for our own wedding. Anita was easy to get in contact with, very flexible in getting together on a short notice and professional (but also loads of fun). After our ceremony we had dozens of people coming up to congratulate us and proceed to tell us how much they loved the ceremony and how it was not conventional and how it just fit our personalities which is exactly what we wanted. We could not recommend Anita enough!

Anita was a delight to work with (and seems like a pretty cool person, too!). She's on top of her deadlines, nailed the tone for the ceremony, and exudes a wonderful calming presence.

Anita was the officiant for our wedding at Revolution Brewing this summer. She was outstanding - very responsive and took care of many details for our ceremony. Our ceremony was just perfect - we received many compliments from our guests on how personal and sweet it was. Many guests said it was the best ceremony they've been to. As a part of the process, Anita asked us each to fill out a questionnaire about our relationship. We now have that as a wonderful keepsake in addition to our ceremony script. Anita was so wonderful to work with! I was referred to her by my wedding planner. I was very excited to find an officiant who truly shares my belief that a wedding ceremony can still be special and important WITHOUT mention of religion! She was so open to all our ideas and gave us some of her own when we didn't know what we wanted, and was able to to incorporate them into a beautiful ceremony that our guests raved was amazing, unique, wonderful, and perfectly us. She truly means that every single word is up for approval and is so accommodating to any requested changes, so we felt completely comfortable with our entire ceremony. I got many compliments on not just the content of the ceremony, but also Anita herself! Anita was/is amazing! I'm so glad that we chose her as our celebrant!

We knew from the start that our ceremony was going to be different from traditional ceremonies since we were having a double wedding. From our initial meeting Anita was warm, welcoming and easy to talk to. Once we had met with her I had no doubt in my mind that I wanted her to perform our wedding. She catered to our wants and welcomed our opinions as she was creating our ceremony. I love that the ceremony told our stories as individual couples and as a group. She did a wonderful job of making sure transitions in the ceremony were seamless. The ceremony flowed beautifully and was honestly perfect. I wouldn't change anything about it.

Anita was very professional and organized throughout the whole process. Our venue manager even commented on this during our rehearsal!

I would recommend Anita to any and everyone.

Anita is awesome! I love how she asked us about our love story and included in the ceremony. Gave us a few drafts to look over and tweaked and tweaked until we were 100% happy. She was very professional and so personable. Outstanding!! When we were originally thinking about our wedding there was a lot of debate over whether we should have a friend officiate or if we should hire someone professionally. We decided to meet with Anita after reading some positive reviews, and we immediately realized that she was the right choice for us. We talked with her a couple of times and each filled out a document with questions about ourselves, our relationship, the ceremony we wanted, and our friends and family. With just that info, Anita was able to put together a ceremony that felt uniquely ours, and she provided it to us well in advance so we were able to tweak the couple very minor things that didn’t fit us perfectly. We heard a lot of positive feedback about the ceremony in general, and about Anita in particular. The ceremony Anita crafted reminded everyone of who we were, individually and as a couple, and was a great way to kick off our lives together.

While wedding planning, we knew choosing an officiant would be among the most important decisions. While some friends recommended judges, we knew we wanted something more personalized. We also didn't want a fast, 5 minute ceremony. I had heard about Anita from a friend who highly recommended her, and as soon as we met Anita I could see why. Anita used our input to write a personal, fun, and meaningful ceremony. Working with Anita on the ceremony was such an enjoyable process, too. Of all the aspects of our wedding, we received the most compliments on the ceremony itself. In addition, several members of our wedding party commented on how friendly and easy going Anita was at our rehearsal and at the wedding. Overall, we could not be happier with Anita and the ceremony she wrote and officiated, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding officiant.

Hiring Anita was one of the quickest decisions we made in the wedding planning process, and the best. We first met over coffee and we were instantly comfortable with her warm personality and attention to detail. She worked with us to create the perfect warm and intimate ceremony that we wanted. We received so many compliments afterward, many from folks who thought Anita was a family friend. Another guest remarked that the ceremony felt less like a "show" and more like the guests were sharing in our ceremony and our story. Anita was also very easy to work with throughout the planning process. She answered all of our questions and was very responsive to requested edits to the ceremony draft. We didn't make many edits to her first draft, but it was great to know that we had finally say over every last line. Anita is a true pro and we can't recommend her highly enough.

We used Anita for our wedding on 7/11/2015, and we were so happy with how our ceremony turned out! She really understood our wants, needs, and personalities, and crafted them into a ceremony that truly reflected our relationship. Our guests raved about how unique everything was and how they couldn't believe she wasn't a close family friend. She even took our story of how we first met eating cookies and turned it into a cookie-eating unity ceremony. Genius! Anita was our officiant for our wedding this past weekend. She is the BEST!!! I cannot recommend her enough for anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding. One of our big concerns was finding someone who would officiate our wedding without including any religious elements in the ceremony. Anita was so accommodating to our wishes and was just the nicest sweetest woman I've ever met. She interacted so well with our wedding party and our families. Anita wrote us a unique ceremony, based on me and my husband and our story, and included quotes and stories that we chose, as well as coming up with other elements of the ceremony that reflected us perfectly. Everyone at the reception was just raving about how much they liked Anita and how beautiful the ceremony was. I could not be happier with our choice of Anita as our officiant, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I couldn't have picked a better officiant for my wedding. My husband and I had wanted a ceremony that was not based on religion. I was specific with Anita on a few topics that were considered musts for our ceremony and also mentioned that I needed her to somehow incorporate touching upon both my late mother and my husband's late mother without providing guests with extreme sadness as the passings were fairly recent.

Anita couldn't have provided a more beautiful ceremony...the words she used and the form of expression in which she honored us as a couple and our mothers on our wedding day was something that I will never forget. My guests continue to talk about how they loved how personal the entire ceremony was to our relationship. They loved the words Anita wrote and the meaning behind them. Our day was very emotional and we have Anita to thank for that.

On top of the beautiful words she wrote for us, Anita was extremely professional with timely replies, openness to any revisions/adjustments requested and was just a pleasure to work with.

I highly highly highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant. I had never met Anita before planning my wedding and truly hit the jackpot with finding her.

Anita was icing on our wedding cake! At our initial meeting both of us felt extremely comfortable, it was like talking to a member of our family or a close friend. She had us fill out a questionnaire (very thorough) taking into account all kinds of information about our relationship and story. We laughed and cried, and felt she understood us as a couple. It was actually really fun to complete a month or two before the wedding. She sent us a draft of the sermon and it was excellent, everything we wanted and more. We had a ton of our family members (of all religious and non-religious backgrounds) and friends come up to us afterward and raving about the service and the way she told our story (like she knew and cared about us)! We had to run around quite a bit the day before the wedding and on the wedding day, but she made it so nice, she was flexible, knowledgeable, and calming. Not to mention, she helped a rather frazzled bridal party light candles, and everything else that needed to get done before the ceremony started. We truly did not appreciate, until we went through this entire process, the incredibly important/ invaluable role of a celebrant (more specifically Anita). We're only allowed to give Anita 5 stars here, but we would give her many more if possible! Have Anita conduct your service, you won't regret it!

Words can never put into words how AWESOME Anita is! Our wedding was about 5 months ago and we're still getting compliments on Anita (people that "crashed our ceremony" even stopped me to say it was the most beautiful ceremony they ever witnessed)! She's has an amazing gift to tell your story and rope your guests into it! I have to say that between the laughs, the tears and the complete awe of the all the personalization of our ceremony/vows...everyone left our wedding knowing our real love story and knowing us just a little better and isn't that the purpose of bringing two families together and making a lifelong commitment! Our wedding ceremony was PERFECT and that's all thanks to Anita! She's worth every penny!!! Our officiant was actually the last vendor that we booked; luckily, we found Anita. At our first meeting both my husband and I were at ease, she's amazingly easy to talk to and really enjoys what she does and who she works with. Having a Celebrant meant a lot - celebrating love and all its forms. She wanted to find out about us, our hobbies and what we wanted for our ceremony. We were able to talk candidly about not having a religious ceremony, and things that were important to us. She sent us a questionnaire to fill out about ourselves and each other, and from there crafted a ceremony. We read it over, changed some things, and she sent us back a re-worked ceremony with our changes.

We knew from our first meeting with Anita that she was perfect for our wedding!! She has such a warmth and friendliness, she is also very knowledgeable. We knew we wanted to write our own ceremony, and she worked with us every step of the way, had great suggestions, and good understanding of the flow/timing of a wedding. We could not have asked for a more personal, special ceremony. Anita made us feel so comfortable. Her questionairre is very thorough and was actually an experience my wife and i still enjoy talking about. She writes out the entire ceremony and we had 100% knowledge and controll over the content. Awesomely though, we didn't really change much at all, because she's great at what she does. Day of, not a dry eye in the house. Our love story come to life...and we made a friend in Anita. She's so good, we were able to recommend her the day of our wedding to my college roommate! Her Vegas wedding was equally personal and amazing. Talk to Anita. My husband and I attended a wedding last summer that Anita officiated. At that time, we were not yet engaged and had no plans for a wedding anytime soon, but we both commented on how beautiful and personal the ceremony was and that it was the best wedding ceremony either of us had ever attended. We contacted Anita as soon as we became engaged. We were prepared to plan our wedding date around her schedule. As it turned out, she was available August 3rd, our first choice of dates. This was a second wedding for both of us and we have 5 children between the two of us. Anita made the ceremony a story of our lives, and she did most of the work. She asked us to answer a list of questions (via email) and based on the answers and our personal preferences, she created the most perfect and personal ceremony. It is not a typical or predictable ceremony. Everyone who attended had the most positive comments about Anita and the ceremony. She is professional and an excellent speaker. She is also very easy to work with, easy to contact, and she works around your schedule for the few meetings you do with her in person. She allowed us to include the children and she gave us some ideas for including the children and making the ceremony ours. The ceremony was the best part of our wedding and we could not be any happier with Anita's work.

Anita served as the Officiant for our wedding in July. She came to us highly recommended, from people whose opinions we trusted, and they were so right! Our wedding was a bit untraditional, but not completely so, which presented a bit of a challenge (not just to Anita, but to all our vendors). We were intent on setting a particular tone -- fun, but not funny; elegant, but not stuffy; informal, but not casual. As you can see, this was kind of a small target to hit...but Anita managed to nail it! The ceremony was gorgeous, memorable, amazing. We have had SO many people tell us just how much they loved it, how moving it was, yet how accessible. (Even the waitstaff, who must have to stand there for dozens of ceremonies each year, told how unique and cool it was.) As for Anita, she was as easy to deal with as one could hope. She offered advice, when asked to do so; she listened -- carefully -- to everything we threw at her, and she rolled with every punch. As we rejected one reading after another, for being too this or not enough that, she soldiered on, finally helping us come up with a ceremony that absolutely conjured up the emotion we were hunting for, but which we couldn't really articulate. And the ceremony itself was amazing. Anita is a presence, sure, but a calming presence. She commands your attention, but in a totally good way, never taking the attention off of us. Finally, she managed to personalize the ceremony in a way that manages to teach even our closest friends and family a lot about us that they likely did not know. Anita rocks! We could not be happier with how she handled our wedding, from first meeting all the way through the ceremony.

Anita agreed to officiate our wedding with just two months notice after our original officiant became unavailable on our wedding date. In a short amount of time, we worked together to create a wonderfully personal and fitting ceremony that worked for our non-traditional wedding. Well, what can I say, my experience with Anita was just as positive as all of these other reviews indicate! Anita officiated my wedding this May 2013 and it was a beautiful ceremony. Overall, I've had more comments about the ceremony than anything else at my wedding! Aside from all that, the overall experience of working with Anita was extremely easy and stress free, she has a very smooth, efficient and organized system that puts all of the responsibility on herself and none of the stress on you as the bride, which is how it should be! In fact, something came up about a month before my wedding that probably would have resulted in a very negative experience if I was working with somebody else, but even in a difficult situation Anita was kind and professional. 5 stars!

Anita did an amazing job. There was not a dry eye in the place, either by sentimental words or making everyone laugh. She tailored our ceremony to fit our personalities and our love. After the ceremony, we had so many people come up and tell us how moved they were. My few favorite compliments form he night was "I learned so much about you both, and I know you!" "I've never laughed or cried so much, that ceremony was amazing", "I'm jealous, I wanted a ceremony like that" and from my uncle "I always hate weddings, they are so boring, your wedding was so different, I actually enjoyed every minute of it". Anita is truly one of those rare people that can talk with a person, get a feel for them, and figure out what makes them tick. Her ceremony was personal, warm, and totally about us. She walks you through the process step by step and is patient with any questions or concern you might have. We wanted to include a planting ceremony and she took the idea and ran with it. She speaks from her heart and loves people and joining lives. Our guests could not stop complementing the ceremony and how it told the story of "us." You might not want to use Anita if you don't want to cry during your ceremony, because she is sure to deliver a touching speech. Anita was a wonderful addition to our wedding crew! From the moment we met her, we knew she was everything we were looking for: confident, flexible, responsible, organized, kind, and willing to meet our indecisive needs. She crafted a wonderful ceremony that incorporated everything crazy for which we had hoped: nothing spiritual, lots of humor, and Star Trek quotes. It was a beautiful ceremony that I promptly bawled my way through and Anita was right there at the alter with tissues for me.

The best part about Anita was her presence on the day of the ceremony. She was calm, cool, and collected. She was willfully in contact with all of our other vendors and coordinators and provided very organized schedules of events for each person. She projected her voice EXTREMELY well and all of our guests said they could hear and understand her words even without amplification (a downfall of many celebrants that I have seen). Anita is like the family member at your wedding you didn't know you had. She really immediately makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I couldn't imagine my wedding with anyone else!

When I first signed the contract to get married at the Shedd Aquarium, I realized I was not allowed to have a priest / pastor marry us. While this wasn't a huge deal, I didn't know how to go about finding someone. My wedding planner, Lauren from LOLA Event Productions recommened Anita - one of the best decisions I could have made.

Anita was so amazing and catered to whatever thoughts / ideas Matt and I could come up with. She will do traditional vows, non-traditional vows, etc. - we wrote our own vows. She would help me with wording when I got stuck, needed the vows to flow better and even gave me really good advice for the big day. She told me to not be afraid to pause if I am crying to much while reading the vows, and I still think of this advice to this day when I watch my wedding video.

She came to our rehearsal dinner and really had a blast with my family - everyone loved her! She was so amazing I wanted to give her a special gift. The first time we met Anita, somehow she mentioned that she loved octopus - so I found an octopus keychain at Coach for her.

After the wedding she even sent us our vows all nice and laminated - a wonderful keepsake. I will definitely be recommending her to future brides!

Anita promises a personalized service and delivers with good humor. When at first we didn't give her a lot to work with, she wrote a beautiful service for us, then almost completely rewrote it once we figured out what we wanted. More than one relative asked if she was a friend of ours because she spoke so intimately and warmly of us. She's got great comic timing--people laughed! at a wedding! and she doesn't have the religious baggage of other officiants we interviewed (she's happy to give you as much or as little religion as you want). It was hard for us to focus on the ceremony in the weeks before the wedding, and she was nothing but patient with us. She's just a genuinely nice person who's very good at what she does. Our guests were gushing about our ceremony afterward, and still are. Friends who are getting married this year have asked for her name. A coworker's date who met us during pre-dinner cocktails said she felt like we were old friends of hers. We have no regrets about choosing Anita. Thanks, Anita!

Anita rocked it out at our wedding!! She was fantastic and really truly made our ceremony very special. All throughout the night we heard, "I have never been to a more beautiful ceremony." This is because of all her hard work, thoughtful touches, and positive energy! We could't have picked a more thoughtful and sincere person! Also, there was an issue with our marriage license that she found and took care of without Mathew and I having to lift a finger (other than going to get a new license...but she called, directed, etc.). We would recommend her with complete enthusiasm and 110% guarantee!

Anita was largely repsonsible for giving us a most memorable and happy day. Her ability to capture just the right words to describe the relationship and wedding day is a true gift. she is organized, accessible and open to most any suggestions or requests from brides/grooms. But also if you are little usure of how the ceremony should go, she has tons of information and suggestions to guide you in your indecision. So glad we found her!!

Anita was absolutely wonderful to us! She was helpful and understanding with what we wanted to do with our ceremony. She gave us ideas when we needed guidance and listened to our desires and incorporated them into our ceremony. I am so grateful to have had her be part of our special day! My husband and I are not really religious, but we still wanted to have a meaningful ceremony. Anita truly made it a wonderful celebration of love and joy for us and our families. Guests from religious to non-religious told us afterwards what a beautiful ceremony it was. That meant a lot to us to have been able to include everyone there at our wedding. My husband and I are so happy that we chose Anita to officiate our wedding ceremony!

I can't begin to tell all of you couples out there how wonderful Anita truly is! By the time your wedding rolls around you feel like Anita is part of the family and it simply would not have been the same had she not performed our ceremony. From the moment you meet with Anita she makes it clear that it is all about YOU, she wants your day to be as special as you can dream it to be. Anita takes the time necessary to really get to know each of you and she builds your ceremony from what YOU tell her. She responds back to any questions/concerns just as fast as she can. I never waited more than a day to hear back from her. She cares about making your day wonderful. She truly is a gifted woman and you should not consider any other officiant to perform your ceremony, she is your lady!

Anita was absolutely AMAZING! Of all the vendors we used for the wedding she was definitely one of our favorites. From the first time we met at a coffee house to the day she performed our ceremony we had absolutely zero issues with her. She really made an effort to get to know us as individual people, and of course as a couple. The ceremony she wrote for us was phenomenal! A month before the wedding she sent us her first draft, and was more than willing to change anything we wanted till it was absolutely perfect. We weren't exactly sure what we wanted to use as a unity ceremony so she went through some options for us, and we chose what we liked best. We ended up choosing a unity ceremony we had never seen performed, nor had most of our guests. It was awesome. We got so many compliments from everyone about how enjoyable the ceremony was, and we have Anita to thank for that! We love Anita, and will definitely be keeping in touch with her even though the wedding is done! We would DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone needing a celebrant for their big day! Thank you Anita, from the bottom of our hearts; you made our special day extraordinarily amazing!

Anita worked with our ideas for the ceremony and helped us include traditions from our backgrounds. She also helped us navigate some sensitive family issues. On our wedding day she made our entire wedding party feel at ease.

Our officiant was absolutely WONDERFUL! We were so fortunate to find her for our wedding. We had a destination wedding in Chicago from the west coast. We had a limited amount of time to visit Chicago to complete all of the planning for the wedding. Each time we planned to come to Chicago for planning, Anita was available to meet with us. She also was available to talk to us via the telephone or by e-mail anytime we had questions.
Our ceremony was unbelievable! People stopped us in our hotel and commented that it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever witnessed. Every detail was exactly how we envisioned it. Anita helped us to incorporate details that were culturally and spiritually as diverse as we are as a couple. She made the ceremony a beautiful custom blend that was absolutely perfect for us!
I would not change a thing about our wedding! In fact, when we renew our vows, I can't imagine doing it without Anita!!

My husband and I were looking for a creative celebrant and we definitely found that in Anita! She had a ton of creative and unique ideas for our ceremony and we loved the versatility of choosing what we specifically wanted for our special day. She spent so much time working on our ceremony and it was evident as we received so many wonderful compliments! Anita was the celebrant for our wedding at Blumen Gardens a few weeks back and she did such an amazing job. Anita will listen to you and will find out what type of ceremony you want. She will ask you questions to see what kind of person you are and she will make your ceremony deeply personal. We received many comments from our guests on the ceremony, saying it was both unique and moving and we have Anita to thank. Anita is very friendly and organized, she honestly felt more like a friend to us. She even helped me to calm my nerves right before the ceremony began! Of all the things involved in planning a wedding the ceremony is the most important part and you need someone you can trust to help you put together a ceremony that is a true reflection of you and your partner. Anita is the perfect mix of professionalism and personality. We wanted an officiant who would really start to understand us, and she took the steps to assure that she did. She told "our story" beautifully and gave us the perfect ceremony. Everyone appreciated and admired her light-hearted nature and wonderful way with words. We were so lucky to find Anita! She was helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and professional. She allowed us to customize our perfect ceremony, which was so very important to us. Anita was absolutely amazing and was integral to making our wedding reflect the type of people we are. We told her that we wanted an intimate, genuine, and lighthearted service without many of the traditions that usually accompany wedding ceremonies. It was not an easy request. She worked with us until the words of the service were perfect and, when the big day finally came, her oratory presence and delivery exceeded even our high expectations. At least 10 guests came up to me and commented on how wonderful Anita was. If you’re on the fence about which Officiant to go with, choose Anita; she’s brilliant and I am supremely confident that she’ll make your service as special as she made ours.

We had more compliments on our ceremony than I can even count. Words cannot explain how beautiful, amazing, and "so us" our ceremony was. She gave us everything we wanted in a ceremony, it was funny, joyful, and about us...people laughed and cried...it was perfect. We had numerous family members come up to us and ask us how long Anita has known us, because she wrote the perfect ceremony for us. I could not have asked for a better celebrant and she was incredible. Anita, thank you so much for making our day that much more special!!!!

Anita was a wonderful officiant for us. When we first met we discussed many possibilities for ceremony choices. We decided on a hand blessing and a stone ceremony. My husband and I came up with an idea for a stone blessing which included our children, ages 15, 20, and 22. Our guests held rose quartz stones which were collected and put in a bowl. On top we all put in a stone which represented each of us. Together these stones represented our new family resting on the blessings of our friends and family. Anita was great in making it all come together. She interviewed us and wrote a ceremony that was one of a kind, heartfelt and warm. After everyone asked about her and said she was great. She was beautiful and present and genuine the day of the ceremony. We highly recommend Anita.

Anita was wonderful! She was so patient and flexible with our hectic schedules leading up to the wedding, even when my family was 2 hours late to the 1 hour rehearsal- she never stopped smiling. Her presentation was described by several of our guests as "poetry," and we have been complimented on our fresh and unique ceremony, too. She brought tears to my eyes during our ceremony and really helped us personalize EVERYTHING. Everything was wonderful and we really enjoyed working with her!

I cannot say enough positive stuff about Anita, she was absolutely the best choice for us and we were so glad to have her. We found her in the last two or three weeks before the wedding, and even under this insane time crunch I don't think we ever had any doubt that she was going to take care of us and our needs, which she absolutely did. I completely trusted Anita and we feel very lucky to have had her as our officiant. She was worth the wait! Anita is among other things friendly, open, approachable, sincere, warm, professional, fun and thoughtful. She was very quick with our emails back and forth, which unfortunately (because of my busy schedule, not her fault) we had to do a lot of our communication through. She was very flexible with our schedules and in keeping us on track with our "homework". She was great at being our guide though the entire pre-ceremony process: writing our vows, tweaking them, finding out what we wanted to convey and what WE wanted to say in our ceremony. I was so elated when we finally did meet her because once we did we DEFINITELY knew that her warmth and sincerity was a very real thing. She made us feel comfortable from the start, this I chalk up to her just being a very real and sincere person. She also completely understood that we had a lot of stuff on our minds concerning the wedding and at no point did I ever feel that she contributed to our stress. We did not have a religious ceremony and Anita went above and beyond in helping us create a ceremony that had meaning for US. Before the ceremony Anita spent some time with me in making sure I felt prepared and ready for the show :). She gave my dad some pointers and told me repeatedly that everything was fine, and in place and that I could take my time until I was ready to go. She was so calm and I really appreciated her attention to my nerves. We had so many compliments on the ceremony and everyone who we spoke with said that you could really tell that there was a lot of love and care involved, and we totally agree! I was actually sad to see her leave once she had to go, and I don't know if any other brides feel that way when their officiant leaves, but I doubt it. We give her one hundred gold stars! My husband and I separately answered a lot of questions about ourselves, and Anita added structure and wove it into a ceremony. The result was uniquely ours-- we wanted something lighthearted, secular, short and sweet. Judging from the comments from our guests, the ceremony reflected just what we wanted. Anita was by far one of the best choices we made for our wedding! She created the most personal and perfect ceremony that I had ever heard- she by far exceeded any of our expectations! Anita was beyond ideal. From the moment we met her, we knew she was the one for us. She's incredibly humorous, clever, and sincere; a perfect match for us. When it came time to prepare our ceremony, we really felt her personal touch. I would best describe it as if a close friend was presiding over the ceremony. Maybe it was because Gizelle and I are just so awesome we made the job too easy for her.  But it is more likely that Anita knows what she does is of significant importance to those she is officiating for. She knows not every couple is the same and not every ceremony is going to come from a cookie cutter. She knows and she delivers. She�ll give you whatever you like in a ceremony and help you along the way if you are unsure about anything. I made mention that we really felt like a friend was officiating, and that couldn�t be more true. We would have had it no other way. There is no doubt in our mind Anita was a key component to making our wedding day the greatest day of our life.

Anita was wonderful to work with! She listened closely to our ideas and worked with us to incorporate them into a personal, meaningful and unique wedding ceremony. My husband and I come from different backgrounds and traditions, as he is Muslim from India and I am Jewish from the US. Anita spent time to understand what elements from our individual backgrounds were important and built them into a beautiful ceremony. We worked on the questionnaire she gave us, and then she built a structure for our ceremony. She wrote the story and put together the rituals as the ceremony got tightened up through iterations and edits. It felt like a collaboration as she guided us through the process. She was very open and responsive to our ideas. The ceremony was beautiful, and I have not stopped hearing raves from my friends and family. Everyone felt that they were part of something special. Many people have commented that it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever seen. We feel honored to have worked with Anita - it was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made (aside from choosing to get married to each other).
