I do not get my makeup done ever and really don’t know what looks good on me to describe it in words to someone. I basically told Angela to do whatever she thought would look natural but a little glammed up, and she did an amazing job!! The lashes looked so natural, she did a subtle wing which I loved, and she found the best lip color to match my dress. My skin looked so fresh and natural, nothing was caked on like I fear when getting makeup done. Angela is also very kind, funny, patient, and knowledgeable! Hire her now, you will love her! -

Angela is Amazing!
Angela was very responsive through email and texts, providing thorough details and pricing. Her contracts provided all details that I needed to know for my bridal party to get their hair done on my special day. She also provided tips and recommendations for hairstyling and traveled to my hotel where my bridal party was getting ready. She did my bridal hair and the other ladies in my group within the time frame that she and I agreed upon and my hairstyle was photo ready the entire day of my wedding. Angela did such a great job on my daughter’s wedding that I knew who to call when I needed a hair and make up artist for an upcoming photo shoot opportunity. Angela seriously is the best! She is so professional, kind, funny, and her make up and hair styling leaves you feeling like a million bucks. A True Wedding Day Hero! Thank You, Angela!
I cannot thank Angela enough for the incredible job she did on my wedding day! She styled my hair as the bride, all of my bridesmaids, my sister’s hair, and even my husband’s hair last-minute—and every single one of us looked amazing.
Angela came to our hotel’s bridal lounge early and immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. She created such a calm, friendly atmosphere while working her magic on all of us. I danced the entire night like crazy, and my hair stayed perfect until midnight without a single issue. I received so many compliments on my hairstyle throughout the day—it truly made me feel extra special and beautiful.
One moment that really stood out to me was when Angela taught one of my bridesmaids how to put on my veil, so I could leave the hotel with my husband without being seen before the ceremony. That small but thoughtful gesture meant so much to me and shows how dedicated and caring she is.
Angela is incredibly talented, professional, and just a joy to be around. I am so grateful for everything she did to make our day unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend her to any bride-to-be! -

Wedding hair and makeup
Angela did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I couldn't be happier! We did two trials before the big day, and she was so patient and understanding throughout the whole process, really taking the time to understand what I wanted. She was very responsive and open to trying different looks until we found the perfect one.
On the wedding day, Angela made sure everything was flawless-she took her time to make sure I looked and felt perfect. I was shopping around for bridal makeup, and Angela stood out because she was not only quick to respond but the only one who provided detailed phone consultation - not only once, but twice! I'm a Chinese person marrying into a desi family, so when it came to a desi wedding and its hair/makeup/dress, coupled with planning a wedding remotely, I was like a fish out of water. After pouring over a ton of wedding websites and reviews, I reached out to Angela. She immediately scheduled a phone call and gathered many details, which were strangely comforting. I ended up booking with her, and I'm glad I did! She showed up on the day of by herself, did HMU for me, my mom, and my MIL, all while being extremely professional, efficient, caring, and patient. Speaking of my experience alone, I don’t wear makeup in my day-to-day life, so it was important to me that I still looked like myself without having my features completely drowned out by the heavier outfit I'd be wearing that day. But I was open to trying some new things, e.g. a darker lip, which I never did. She listened to my wants and helped me realize them with her expertise. I was also extremely anxious the entire day, as you would being a bride, but she was so calm the entire time and did everything in her power to help me enjoy the process. Everything and everyone turned out so beautiful, and I felt so beautiful. It truly is an honor working with her, and I would highly recommend her to any folks looking for an HMUA in the future. -

I hired Angela’s team for my wedding in November. I absolutely loved how I looked at my wedding and my bridal party was extremely pleased with their hair and make up as well. Everyone stayed on schedule and met our timelines. My favorite aspect was how Angela took the time to make sure I was as relaxed as possible throughout the morning and kept reminding me to delegate tasks to the planners and others so I could just enjoy my special day. We had a beautiful 1920’s themed wedding so hiring Angela was the perfect choice to execute a vintage glam look. Beautiful wedding hair & makeup
I wanted very simple wedding makeup and hair, didn't have a bridal party and it was just my mom and I who wanted services. I reached out to tons of companies in the LA area and they had crazy minimums or didn't want to take me seriously because it was just two of us. Luckily, I found Angela and her team and am so thankful! I was very nervous about getting my makeup done because I don't wear much makeup on a daily basis, and have worn lashes only a few times in my life. On top of that, I was changing from a white long sleeve lace dress to a pink and blue lehenga, and really wanted to make sure my makeup worked for both outfits. Angela was super patient, she spent lots of time with me at my trial figuring out exactly what I wanted, how my veil would work with my hair, which extensions were the right ones, if we should go with top liner, etc. I got home from the trial and the lashes were really irritating me, so she suggested a sensitive eye lash glue for me to buy, which she used on the wedding day and worked fabulously. The morning off, Angela was on time and super communicative, and she honestly worked so quickly I was done with plenty of time to relax before needing to head out. My mom is equally indecisive and had lots of ideas for her hair, but she worked with Joanne to narrow down what she wanted, work with the hair accessories she'd brought, and create a gorgeous hairstyle. She was also really hesitant about her brows that day, and Joanne was really good about adjusting and lightening so my mom was super happy. My only (very minor and silly) complaint was that my hair was half up half down, and the twist in the back that held my veil did come slightly undone in the second part of the evening. Nobody's fault (and I was too busy partying to bother going to the bathroom to fix it, we did actually have hairspray in our bathroom baskets lol) and it was great for photos so truly did not matter. Absolutely expect things like that on your wedding day! -

They Made the Impossible Possible!
“It’s amazing what unbridled joy and a hair and make-up professional can do!” This was my answer to every “you look so beautiful” on my wedding day. They truly went hand in hand. I highly recommend Angela Tam and her team.
I was not looking forward to wedding pictures – I’m not photogenic, my hair never stays put (no matter how much hairspray is applied), and few can apply make-up in a way that is flattering and boosts my confidence. So, I waited as long as possible to find an HMUA, nearly convinced it was an impossible quest. But from my very first query, Angela was kind, patient, responsive, and knew just what questions to ask.
On Wedding Day, they were true partners. I immediately felt calm, confident, and heard. They didn’t try to sell us anything and listened closely to each member of my I Do Crew: what we wanted, what we were concerned with, what had worked in the past, what hadn’t worked, etc. And integrated it all beautifully – even amidst the chaos and shenanigans our personalities threw at them. We were quite a rowdy bunch, and they rolled with the punches and fit in beautifully. Not only did they finish early after juggling schedule changes, they did so after squeezing in a last-minute addition (did I mention their flexibility?)!
Our hair and make-up complemented each of us beautifully and lasted the whole day. Even though I forgot to use the touch-up kit at my outdoor July wedding, I LOOKED WONDERFUL (as did the others) throughout the night! It all stuck.
Thank you, Angela and Caitlin. You made the impossible possible: I felt truly beautiful on my wedding day and love seeing the pictures! You absolutely nailed it, and I’d hire you again in a heartbeat.

Angela and her team were so great to work with! I sent her some photos of what I wanted to look like, and Angela replicated exactly what I wanted on the first try. It was literally perfect! I have thick, red curly hair, which is very difficult to work with, but Angela was able to work with it so easily and give me exactly what I wanted. She also used some of my own products that match my red hair and fair skin.
On my wedding day, Angela and her team showed up on time, and we even finished early, which allowed me to relax a little before getting dressed. She even gave me a touchup kit that I could use later in the day to make sure my makeup stayed flawless for all my photos.
Armie and Kasie did hair and makeup for my family members, and they were also amazing to work with. We all ended up getting false lashes because they looked so great when Angela put them on me!
My family and I had such a fun experience with Angela and her team, and I highly recommend her for your wedding, or any other event. -

I wish I could relive our wedding day & my hair and makeup played a role in that. Angela did such a good job making me feel comfortable the day of. I LOVED my hair and makeup. Fantastic Wedding Experience, Dream Looks!
Angela Tam and Team - GiGi and Ivy were incredible. They were on-time, professional, and prepared with their tools. This was my best friend's wedding, and the day off were were all over the place. These ladies remained cool and calm. They were able to recreate our Pinterest looks. They LISTENED to our needs and desires regarding our aesthetic. They were able to go lighter for those who wanted a more natural look, and heavier for those who wanted a more glamorous look. They maintained conversation, they just fit the vibe well with us. We were so happy and excited on that day, and they just pumped us up even more so when we all saw our looks, and felt 10x more beautiful. If you are looking for quality, choose them. Half of the bridal party LOVE makeup in general and half barely wear much of it, and Angela's team was able to impress both.To me, thats customer service. -

Star Wars wedding
We had a Star Wars themed wedding that unfortunately had to be postponed twice due to COVID. Thankfully Angela Tam's team helped us with the change of date both times. When the day finally came, the artist arrived just before I did, and was a Star Wars fan herself. It was so much fun to talk to her while we were getting ready. Amazing work!
Angela and her team (Gigi and Betty) did an AMAZING job on our wedding hair and makeup! I did the bridal trial session with Angela and for the wedding day, she and her team did hair and makeup for me, both mothers, and 4 bridesmaids. The session was from 5am-9am and everything finished on time ahead of the first look :)
I felt so beautiful and graceful on my wedding day and so much of it is because of Angela's work. Both my mom and MIL weren't used to getting hair and makeup done, so they felt really beautiful too. All the bridesmaids have never gotten their hair and makeup done professionally before, and I think this was a great first experience for them, one that will set the bar for future special occasions.
In terms of pricing, I would say they're pretty reasonable especially after taking in account of the Wedding Wire discount I had. Between her and someone else who offered the same rates, I chose her because of how quick her communication was.Angela Tam Glam Team | Beloved Glamorous LLC's reply:

I had my wedding last year October 2019 and this month marks my one year wedding anniversary. Looking back at my wedding day, the one outstanding part of my decisions was choosing to work with Angela and her team for hair and makeup. I hired Angela on to do mine, my mother's, and mother-in-law's makeup and Angela And team for my sister's (matron of honor) and bridesmaids’ hair and makeup. That day, we were on a tight schedule since there were so many activities to be packed in and key family members were running late.
Under all of those pressures and time constraints, Angela and her team completed everything to perfection. In fact, my mother-in-law, who is a beauty professional herself and very attentive to detail, loved her makeup so much that she would not stop complimenting Angela on it the entire session lol! My sister, the matron of honor, absolutely loved both her hair and makeup done by Angela. Rosemary, who deserves a shout-out on Angela's team, worked on my bridesmaids’ hair and each came out looking naturally and beautifully.
As for my makeup, Angela worked with me from the get-go! We began the planning process for my wedding makeup with a trial-run with hair and makeup during my engagement photo shoot. Angela was such a pleasure to work with and so understanding. I brought a few pictures I found over Pinterest and ran it by her as well. I wanted a more intense look for my wedding day photos, since I wanted something that was memorable and apart from my everyday look. I was very pleased with my makeup; not only did I look flawless, but the makeup lasted the whole day and night aside from the lips which I did touch-up after eating and prior to photoshoots. Angela was amazing, I swear I looked perfect to the tee on my wedding day! The proof is evident in the photos.
Overall, I would highly recommend Angela. Pricing was also very reasonable to cover costs for all members of my bridal party and my mother and mother-in-law. She is top-notch through and through if you want high quality performance. Thank you, Angela and team! -

I am so glad that I found Angela soon after my fiance and I decided to get married at a civil ceremony. We only had a few weeks. She was responsive, timely, and most of importantly, very professional. She is also very sweet and flexible to fit my schedule. Satisfied, she was flexible with my location to get ready and knew exactly what I wanted for hair and makeup.
Angela was extremely accomadating. I'm not one to cake on a bunch of makeup. For my wedding day I want to look natural and she made me feel so elegant, soft, with a romantic touch. After extensive research, I decided to go with Angela Tam. She was very easy to work with and very flexible and willing to work with your style preference. On the day of my wedding, I was running slightly behind schedule, but she was very patient and understanding. My mom wasn’t as impressed with her look as she doesn’t usually wear any makeup. I wouldn’t hesitate to go with Angela and she books up quickly. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and all my friends and family extended full compliments. -

Great experience!
It was a great experience to have Angela to work on my hair. I consider myself is a difficult person to please because I know how to do my hair in different style, but Angela was amazing. She patiently listen to what I want and work until I was happy with the result. She also did Up do on my two daughters, the result was so... gorgeous! They were so pleased. Angela is nice, personable, and puncture. I definitely recommend her.

Hair & Makeup by Angela Tam - Chinese Tea Ceremony
Angela Tam was an amazing hair and makeup stylist. She was very professional, kind, and a great listener. I wasn’t sure what looked best for my hair and makeup as I was wearing my Chinese traditional tea ceremony dresses and she knew what to do. In the end, the pictures looked great. When we were slightly behind schedule, Angela was very flexible and ensured we got all of my bridesmaids hair and makeup done.
