Angela made my daughter feel beautiful!

Angela did my daughter's makeup for the 2024 Symphony Bells presentation, and she did an amazing job! My daughter doesn't always love her look due to struggles with acne, and Angela made her feel absolutely beautiful. She listened to my daughter and made recommendations to get exactly the look she wanted. Angela is an fantastic makeup artist and will be our go-to for all future events. Thank you!

Gorgeous!

The first time Angela did my makeup was in a friend's wedding several years back. I told her that day that if I were ever to get married, she'd be one of my first calls. Fast forward to last year, I got engaged, we booked our venue, and Angela was my very next call. She is incredibly talented, and I am so happy she was able to do the makeup for my wedding last month!
I've had my makeup done by various artists over the years, and I always felt like I didn't look like myself. It isn't that way with Angela. You look and feel like you, only a little enhanced. She takes your natural beauty and accentuates it in a way that is unique to you. I had eight women in my wedding, plus my mom, and they all looked stunning! Plus, Angela really knows how to make sure your makeup lasts. After a night of dancing (and maybe falling asleep with my makeup on...), it was still flawless!
I am thrilled with the work Angela did! She's hilarious and fun, and she really helped us relax leading up to the event! I definitely made the right choice.
I don't have my photos back from our photographer yet, but I'll post some better quality ones once I have them. For now, here are a couple of shots from my phone on the day.

So much FUN! and Very Professional!

Our wedding day began at 10:00am wit hair and makeup at the Gin at Hildago Falls in Navasota, TX and they were there ready to go and on time. I showed them pictures from pinterest of what I wanted my wedding look to be and they were spot on! They even stayed a few minutes after to help the photographer and videographer grab the perfect shots for our wedding day! Both were super fun to talk to and communicated with us duing the entire wedding process. Couldn't have gone any smoother. Highly recommend!!

I've never looked better!

Angela worked her incredible artistic magic on my daughter's wedding day. She did my daughter's makeup, my makeup, and the makeup of all 5 bridesmaids. In addition to being a phenomenal makeup artist, Angela is also just plain fun and relaxing to be around on wedding day. When I first met Angela at my daughter's makeup trial, I felt like I had known her forever because our conversation was so easy and cheerful. I believe Angela's ability to chat with anyone allows her to quickly know her clients and put them at ease, which in turn makes it possible for her to enhance everyone's natural beauty. Angela is a great listener and truly wants her clients to look and feel their best.
With only two days notice from me, Angela revised all of her scheduling for my daughter's wedding day because we suddenly needed her to address a tanline issue that was visible through the sheer back of my daughter's wedding gown. Angela confidently told me she could fix it, she came earlier than we had originally agreed upon, and she did fix that issue beautifully.
I honestly have never felt more beautiful and confident than I did when I walked down the aisle at my daughter's wedding, and that was due to the way Angela made me look and feel. My daughter felt the same way about her makeup and about Angela, as did all of the bridesmaids. She's a real gem! The compliments are still rolling in about how beautiful we all looked!

Working with Angela is like getting your hair and makeup done with your best friend and she does amazing work! When I left from our first meeting I immediately knew Angela would be perfect! I decided to meet with Angela after I saw her work online and Instagram and loved it all! I am very simple with my makeup and I wanted to keep it very natural but also look flawless! At our meeting, I felt like I was just catching up with a friend, she is so kind, funny and easy to talk. Another plus is that she is very prompt at replying to emails and that is very much appreciated! I got pampered by Angela for our engagement session, my bridal portraits and on our big day and every time I absolutely loved her work and I felt and looked so gorgeous (my husband loved my look every time as well)! My mom, mother in law and bridal party (4 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl) all loved their looks and ALL LOOKED SO GORGEOUS! Thank you so much Angela & Dane for making our long day very fun and making us all look flawless. Dane I also heard from my sister in law that you were very quick with my niece, the flower girl, who is only 2. Two year old’s do not stay still for too long and she was able to take care of her hair very quickly! I am so lucky to have worked with Angela on 3 different occasions and I will miss our hair and makeup sessions! Angela sent Angelo and Dane to work with myself, the mothers, and my bridesmaids. They were fantastic! Angelo made me feel so beautiful (that's a pretty big feat!) My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. Angela kept the lines of communication open through the whole process. Definitely recommend!

Angela was so fun to work with. She was so willing to work with my needs. She did my hair and makeup for both my engagement pictures and my wedding! She has such a fun personality and what she was able to do with my hair was nothing short of a miracle. I did a lot of research before booking her and she was definitely one of the best priced too. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone getting married! I will definitely be using her again for any other formal events I may have!

Angela Karr is amazing!! She is truly an incredibly talented artist! Angela did my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures and for my wedding, and I am so grateful I found her. I felt like a beautiful princess/gorgeous Hollywood starlet for my engagement shoot and on my wedding day.

The airbrush foundation she used made me look flawless, and she put individual lashes on me to really make my eyes pop. She did a half-up, half-down hair style, and everyone raved about my hair and makeup. It also had staying power! Even in the Texas heat!

Angela is also such a joy to be around! We had a blast every time I came in to get my hair and makeup done before the wedding, and chatted away like old friends. She's so sweet, fun, and hilarious! Having her there the day of my wedding really put me at ease, because it was like having another good friend in the room, and I knew she'd make me look stunning.

She also did my bridesmaids' hair and makeup, and my mom's makeup, and they all looked beautiful! My mom is so glad she had Angela do her makeup! I wouldn't trust anyone else with doing my makeup and hair for such an important day! Thank you Angela!!!

Angela was the absolute BEST choice for my hair and makeup for both my bridal portraits and my wedding day! She was so nice, fun, and easy to talk to. I trusted her completely with my hair and make up and loved it!! I had so many compliments on both my hair and makeup. It looked so elegant! I don't wear a lot of makeup and she used just the right amount so that I felt comfortable. I wish I could get married every day just so I can have Angela do my hair and makeup!! :)

Amazing!!! I absolutely loved having Angela as my makeup artist and loved how everyone's airbrush makeup turned out! She was professional, flexible, patient, a joy to work with, and did an incredible job with everyone's makeup, mine (bride), my 5 bridesmaids, MOB, MOG, and Grandmother of groom! Angela did my makeup for my engagement pictures which got postponed at the last minute 3 times due to rain. She was flexible in rescheduling another time and would always arrive on time! A huge plus when I was running around trying to do hair appointments and getting ready for the shoot. She listened to what I wanted and gave me advice on what would look good with each outfit! My light smoky eyes turned out better than expected for the shoot. I also worked with her for my bridal trial where she gave me an amazing makeover and made me feel at ease for the wedding! The wedding day was chaotic, but I could count on Angela to be there on time and finish all 9 of us by 1pm. It was a relief knowing I had her working with me! She did my bridesmaids makeup and touched up as needed throuout the morning. She also did my Mom's makeup and groom's mom and grandma which were very picky about what they did want and what they didn't. She was patient and professional with everyone! I absolutely loved working with Angela! I usually never write reviews, but she was such a pleasure that every bride who is undecided or trying to pick a makeup artist should know what an amazing makeup artist she is! I'm thinking of hiring her for my company's Christmas party and more events!!!

She's really good. Left me stunning like my boyfriend called. The make up last all night I just retouched my under bags a bit because I have really bad under bags as well she gave me a free sample for my lips to last me the whole night. She's wonderful will use again

Angela was AMAZING! Everyone in the wedding party looked so beautiful. My bridesmaids had were all of various ethnicity, skin type, etc and Angela did exactly what each person needed to accentuate their best features. Angela has such a great energy about her as well! She is so friendly and easy to talk to. I loved working with her and would highly recommend her to everyone.

Angela is simply the best! She did makeup for my sister's wedding and I loved her work and her so much that I booked her for my wedding a year later. She is patient, talented, and meticulous in making sure you love your makeup! She helped so much with touch ups after the tears started flowing on the big day! My sister and I love hanging out with Angela while she does our makeup and we will definitely book her for any/all future events. Angela did an amazing job on myself as well as the bridesmaid's makeup. It lasted the entire day and looked fresh throughout the night! She was so great to work with too! Open to suggestions and would change something if you didn't like it (which was rare because everything she did looked beautiful). I would definitely recommend Angela to anyone and I plan on using her for all of my future events!

I used Angela for my bridal portraits and wedding day (for myself + bridesmaids), and she could not have done a better job! Angela was always very professional via email, quick to respond and really easy to work with. I met her for the first time the day of my bridal portraits, gave her a quick description of what I wanted, and my airbrush makeup was exactly what I wanted and looked outstanding. The best part is that her work photographs beautifully, too! She is absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend using Angela!

Angela does AMAZING work!!!! My bridesmaids, mom, and I all had our makeup done by her for my wedding day and she did such a wonderful job. I couldn't have asked for my makeup and everyone else's to be any better. Plus, her price is very reasonable!!!! She's awesome and I know who I'm calling next time I need professional makeup done. Angela was so much fun to work with! I really didn't know exactly what I wanted my makeup to look like for my bridal pictures or wedding, but she took the time to go through some of her past work until I found something I liked. I had the opportunity to work with Angela on three different occassions, all events related to my wedding. Angela is a very friendly, professional and talented makeup artist! I changed my mind a few times on how I wanted my wedding makeup to look. She took the time to understand what I wanted and delivered beautiful results each time. She also did four of my bridesmaid's makeup on the big day and each of them were very pleased. It made my wedding day so much easier knowing we were all in good hands! I would recommend Angela to anyone and plan on using her again in the future!

I use Angela anytime I need my makeup professionally done because she does beautiful work. I used her for my engagements, Bridals, wedding day and my anniversary photos. She really is so talented and makes you look flawless. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Faces by Angela provided me confidence in every aspect of my wedding day. I am not much of a makeup person and was concerned with looking my best on my wedding day and for all the pictures that come along with the day. Angela’s knowledge of makeup and photography is a wonderful combination. Her personality and professionalism helped me relax during some anxious wedding planning moments. I knew I could trust Angela. I couldn't have been happier with my experience working with Angela! I had my make up done for both my bridal portraits and wedding day. Angela was prompt and courteous when replying to all of my emailed questions (there were numerous). I found scheduling both sessions to be a breeze. She even helped me decide what time to begin hair & make up in order to be finished in time to meet the photographer.

Not only did she make me look & feel BEAUTIFUL, but she was so pleasant to be around! My bridesmaid's and I loved the airbrush make up. My make up still looked great twelve hours after being applied.

Anyone looking for a talented and fabulous make up artist should call Angela!

I did soo much searching for a make up artist for my wedding. When I found Angela I took a look at her work and knew she was it! I did a trial with her and not only does she have a such a great personality but she genuinely cares that you love how you look. This was especially important to me since I am not good with make up at all. She knew exactly the look I was going for with little explanation. My bridemaids and I loved her. Highly highly recommended!

Angela saved my wedding! Here are the details:

BEFORE I MET ANGELA: 3 weeks before the wedding in the tiny town of Waco, TX. I had a terrible experience at a highly rated local salon. Left the salon in tears.

I sat in the parking lot of that salon and I google searched for 'makeup artist Waco". I found a very professional website www.angelakarr.com. I checked Angela's Facebook page ("faces by Angela") saw her most recent work, sent Angela an e-mail to book a trial, and I never looked back!

AFTER I MET WITH ANGELA: The trial was perfect!! I was instantly hooked. I loved the trial so much that I booked her for my mother, all of my bridesmaids, and me! WORTH EVERY PENNY! The pictures are SO beautiful! We look like celebrities. I highly suggest you choose airbrush, I had an outdoor wedding and it rained...but my face was flawless all night! Didn't have to touch up my makeup at all! (which was great because I didn't have time to touch up at the reception). Do yourself a favor and book Angela. I'm only giving 5 stars to the vendors who earned my business, and Angela has earned my business for life! I will be booking her for every event! So glad I found her!!

I would recommend Angela to anybody! A huge part of your wedding day is of course having great makeup and Angela nailed it. I never touched up the work she did or changed things after she left the room (as I'm a huge makeup critic) it was flawless. But what really set her apart and why I would use her again, should I need professional makeup, is because she took all the stress of me that day! There were vendors really irritating me and Angela was an angel talking me through it! Love her and would choose her again in a heart beat!

Angela was awesome to work with! She was very accommodating to my crazy schedule!
When showing my wedding pictures to friends I have received tons of compliments on my make up and how good it looks! I would definitely recommend her to others!

Angela did the most amazing job with my makeup on my wedding day! I felt absolutely gorgeous! She is so great at listening to what you want and then making it happen. She spent all of her time and energy making sure I looked absolutely perfect and really made me feel so special and taken care of. I would reccommend her to any and every bride-to-be that I know. I had a destination wedding and was so impressed with her abilities that I flew her to Naples where the wedding was. She is a truly, truly talented makeup artist and just the sweetest, funniest girl ever!

Angela was absolutely amazing. She makes you feel so comfortable and truly is a caring person. I have used her for so many occasions and have recommended her to family and friends and they have all said the same about her. She is an amazing make-up artist and person!!!

I loved having Angela as part of my daughter's wedding day. I have never felt or looked so good. I did not look made up. It was the right type and amount. My three daughters looked beautiful. Angela is so professional and makes even first timers feel comfortable. I wish I had a reason to use her all the time!

Angela is awesome! She did the makeup for my engagement photos and my wedding. She also did the makeup for my sister-in-law's wedding. As you can see, we really love her work! She's got a great personality too and is a lot of fun.

Angela was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding! She was amazing-when things were starting to get hectic, it was such a relief to sit in her chair. She is so calming, funny, and kind. Not to mention she does beautiful work! I highly recommend Angela. She's the best!

Angela Karr is an amazing make-up artist! I found her through a recommendation from my cousin who had used her for some family portraits. She was so easy to schedule with...we talked on the phone and finalized everything through email/mail. She actually came to my parents' house where my bridal party was getting ready which was so great instead of having to drive to meet her somewhere across town. She is so talented. Her skills definitely show! I loved my eyes the best! She does false lashes which I wanted and had so many compliments that night. Every girl wants to look her best on her wedding day...and even though a struggle with some acne breakouts, you could not see any flaw in my makeup all night! I wish she could do my makeup everyday! :-)
