  I worked with Angela for both my wedding and engagement photography and she was wonderful. Our photographer and videographer both cancelled 6 months before our wedding and my fiance and I were really concerned about getting a great photographer that close to our date. Angela came highly recommended by a friend and she was great to work with. She knew we were paying for the whole wedding ourselves and really did her best to give us great prices and still be present during a longer block on the wedding day and she did an amazing job as I (the bride) and others were pulling her in multiple directions on the day of! The engagement pictures came out great and I am sure the wedding shots will too (I am waiting on the proofs and will update this review when I have them!).
  
  Angela is great at blending into the background and trying to capture those candid shots, which is what I wanted and was going for. She is also very relaxed and calming, which is a very sought-after but rarely found trait in people. I highly recommend her.
  
  UPDATE: I received my wedding pictures last week. They are phenomenal. Absolutely utterly gorgeous. I've already heard from countless friends and relatives that they are the most gorgeous wedding shots they've ever seen. Not only did the formals come out perfectly, no doubt to Angela and team's tireless efforts to get the absolute perfect lighting for each, but the candid shots are what made the day. I cannot tell you hope many awesome moments she managed to capture by unobtrusively anticipating a laugh, a smile, or a dance move to the inevitable Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. I could not be happier with every single shot. Do NOT hesitate to book her!

  Everything about working with Angela was perfect! She was warm, friendly, fun and very professional! We couldn't of imagined a better photographer. During the engagement shoot, getting ready, the ceremony and the reception she was incredible - and her photos are breathtaking! We could never thank Angela enough!

  Angela Jimenez was a wonderful photographer for our wedding. All of our guests liked her, and she even made the grandfather of the bride laugh! The pictures came out great, and we couldn't be happier.

  I really wish we could give Angela 10 stars...she was just that good. We found Angela through online research and after our initial conversation with her, we knew we had picked our photographer! Angela was helpful, kind, and responsive throughout the entire process, which was really important since we were planning the wedding from overseas. Angela was a delight to have around during the day of the wedding, joking around with our families and adding to the happiness of the day. We just received the digital files from our wedding and they are nothing short of spectacular! Angela delivered exactly what we wanted--a photojournalistic style, only a few "still life" pictures, lots of candids--and more. Looking at the pictures, we joked that she must be a photographic ninja--she was somehow everywhere and nowhere all at the same time, unobtrusively capturing so many wonderful moments from our special day. We couldn't be happier with our pictures or the service we received from Angela.

  Angela was amazing. We loved the pictures she captured during our wedding day. Our event was pretty packed, and she navigated the crowd with ease. She took amazing pictures that everyone enjoyed and really captured all the little and big moments. We're happy that we'll have these pictures to look at again and again and enjoy for the rest of our lives.

She listened carefully to our hopes for the photography and then produced the most beautiful collection of wedding photographs--more amazing than we ever dreamed of!   We had very specific desires for our wedding that did not follow many of the rules or traditions of other weddings. Angela got what we wanted immediately and took photos that respected our unique ceremony and reception while still lending this madcap adventure some gravity and elegance.
  
  I cannot recommend her highly enough!

  We are so glad to have had Angela and her assistant photographer Julia, as the photographers for our wedding! In addition to discussing all of the details over email, they took the time to meet with us in person before the wedding to go over our exact schedule and timing of events, as well as to create a list of must-take photos. They were extremely professional, friendly, and artistic. Angela even proved essential in helping us navigate our way through Prospect Park to get to our wedding venue, the Boat House, when we managed to misplace our directions, and did not hesitate to jump out of our van to remove obstacles in our way! What a hero! Throughout the night, Angela and Julia not only captured all the special moments, but were also almost ninja-like in doing so. They were completely unobtrusive and yet were able to capture shots at impressive angles, not to mention in impressive numbers. Angela has a documentary-like style, capturing the action and emotions as they happen, and it showed in the resulting photos. In addition to an online album of all of our photos, we were very happy to also receive a full set of high quality prints in a beautiful photo box which was graced with one of our photos on the cover. It was a very nice touch. Thank you Angela and Julia! You come highly recommended from both of us!

  Angela Jimenez was the perfect photographer for our somewhat off beat wedding at our Zen Buddhist temple. Prior to the wedding, she worked enthusiasically with us to figure out what we wanted and then she tailored a package to meet our needs. The ceremony space was a challenge in terms of logistics and lighting, but Angela and the videographer worked well with it. At the wedding, she was easygoing yet attentive and active in getting shots. We're very happy with the results and would recommend her especially for a non-traditional type wedding.

  I can't say enough wonderful things about Angela. She is an amazing photographer. An artist.   It is hard to overstate what a good job Angela did photographing our wedding. While managing to capture every important moment, she did it completely unobtrusively, yet somehow was always right there when we wanted to catch a group shot with some of our friends or relatives. I can't stress enough how important this was. While finding a top-quality photographer is hard enough, finding one who really "gets" how to cover a wedding is really rare. We were delighted.

Angela was extremely professional, her pricing was reasonable and she was very flexible on the day of the event dealing with any unforeseen situations.   Angela is an AMAZING documentary style photographer and her work translates beautifully into wedding photography. She was super helpful throughout the day, catching everything we wanted and more, without ever being intrusive or with me having to say, can you get that shot. As a bride, I didn't have to think about a thing regarding pictures the entire day with Angela there to shoot every magical moment. And our pictures are beyond amazing. She captured every event, every stolen moment with grace and beauty. I can't imagine anyone else shooting our wedding and I can not recommend any of my vendors more highly than Angela. You would be lucky to have her "shoot" you!

  Angela is one of the most organized individuals I've had the pleasure of working with. Before I commited to her, we met and had a conversation about what I was looking for in a photographer. Her approach is very personal. She wants to get things just right. She's also very detail-oriented, which is great for a bride. She leaves no stone unturned. A month or so before the wedding she sent me a worksheet that required shotlist. That is great because the bride and the photographer can be on the same page about expectations. She's also very flexible and open to new ideas. I had an idea that she took and made it better than what I pitched. She takes your wedding day very seriously and the pictures reflect that.   My husband and I were almost speechless as we spent over two hours during our initial viewing of Angela's incredible work. We were speechless, that is, except for the almost incessant proclamations of how talented she is!!!! Her photography captured our wedding so creatively and dynamically, that each picture contains within it not only artwork, with such interesting compositions and color juxtapositions, but also a narrative about each individual that says so much about their personality....We are more than ecstatic with the result, and will happy to review the 1200+ photos again and again for years to come.
  
  Besides the photographs themselves, Angela was an amazing presence to have at the wedding. She did her work with an extraordinary level of professionalism, of course, but her contagious energy, warmth, and enthusiasm made her beloved of all who attended the wedding. She worked tirelessly to capture every aspect we could have hoped for, and all with great spirit.   We chose Angela as our wedding photograher because she is talented, reseaonably priced given her high quality of service, and most importantly, because we truly thought she would be a pleasure to be around on our wedding day.
