Wonderful!!

Angela made all of us look gorgeous. She is so sweet and personable and kind and fun. Her makeup artist, Kim, was just as wonderful. They accommodated us so well and made the morning of the wedding so relaxing and efficient and great in every way!

Amazing and Fun

I loved working with Angela! She was so easy to talk to and knew exactly how to make my Pinterest board of hair style ideas come together into exactly what I wanted. She is a true professional and I loved that I got to do a trial with her beforehand. So thankful that she helped make me feel beautiful on my wedding day!

Perfect experience!

Got exactly what I wanted when I wanted. The hair trial was so easy. She listens to exactly what I wanted and did just that and took critique great when I wanted a tweak here or there. Came to my hotel fully prepared and made it quick and easy.

Amazing Hairstyles!

Angie did a wonderful job with my hair, my wedding parties' hair, and MOG's hair! She managed to give six women with different hair types complimentary looks. The styles were perfect and the curls went on all evening, even in the summer, beach air!

Angie did an exceptional job on my wedding day, and flawlessly styled 4 women's hair! She listens closely to each person's vision, and somehow manages to make it even more beautiful than they had imagined! She is also kind, sweet, and extremely flexible! The best in the Biz, SERIOUSLY OUTSTANDING Hairstylist!!!!

Angela was our AMAZING hairstylist for our daughters wedding in St Augustine this past November. She is incredibly skilled, as she styled NINE women with drop dead hairstyles in one small morning window of time, styles that lasted all evening and made us all look like beauty princesses. She showed no pressure, smiled and was great company, FABULOUS PERSONALITY! I want to tuck her in my pocket and keep her for all my special occasions! We brought a box loaded with hair accessories and she made sure all of us were glammed up perfectly. She worked in a tiny corner of a vintage house, made her tiny space work for her, no complaints. I don't even think she took a water break. She has the most talented hands for hair on the planet. If you are considering a hairstylist for your wedding in this area you CANNOT go wrong with Angela! She is seriously the best in the biz!

Absolutely amazing! She did exactly what I was looking for with no problems. My hair is impossible to curl and becomes flat super fast and I didn't want to hairspray the hell out of it. I told Angela all of these concerns and she was able to make the impossible happen. My hair piece stayed in the ENTIRE night (even through 5 hours of dancing and jumping), the curls remained in place and my hair was touchable and soft. She is a wonderful person and was even so flexible when my plans changed at the last minute. I really really appreciated it. I am going to go to her for my haircuts from now on..even though I don't even live in St. Augustine. She is definitely worth it.

I’ve had some bad experiences in the past with hair stylists by this was not the case with Angie!! I couldn’t have been more happy with the creativity and style of my updo. It was so beautiful and feminine and stayed put all night long. Thank you Angie!!

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Angela! She did my sister's hair back in January for her wedding and I loved what she did for her and her daughters. When it came time to do my wedding hair I didn't even consider anyone else. I emailed her multiple times with multiple questions (destination wedding so I didn't get a practice session) and she was incredibly responsive, good-humored and never made me feel I was a bother. On the day of the wedding she showed up on time (actually a bit early!) and fully prepared. She did the most amazing job with my hair (and I warned her about its drawbacks!). She warm and fun and talented. I couldn't have been happier. I highly, highly recommend her! Thanks Angela!

Angela did such an amazing job for my wedding! She is so fun to be around and really listens to what you want. She did gorgeous updos for all of my bridesmaids, a perfect look for my mom, an updo for my mother in law, and a gorgeous blowout for my grandmother. Angela and Sarina worked great together, I was amazed by how quickly and efficiently they worked on the wedding day. We ran ahead of schedule and everyone looked GORGEOUS.

She also came out the night before the wedding to do a beachy updo for our Welcome dinner on the beach. I never do updo's and I was in love with the style she did for me!

Angie did my hair for me and for the majority of my wedding party this past weekend, along with Darlene! All I can say is WOW! I had the privilege of meeting Angie for the first time in June for my trial, and at that point I already knew that I made a fantastic choice with going with her. She makes the complicated wedding styles and updos look so easy! Not only is she talented, she is very sweet and pleasant to be with too! It's just the kind of energy that you want on your wedding day.

My entire bridal party and I were thrilled with what she and Darlene did! We highly recommend her! :)

My daughter was having a destination wedding in St. Augustine. We were only coming from the Orlando area, but didn't know any local vendors. Our first contact with Angela was a good one. She's very easy going, yet very professional...exactly what we were looking for. We talked to her several times before the wedding. She asked what styles we would like, and if we wanted to send photos in advance. If not, she would give some suggestions.
The day of the wedding, she came to where we were staying, arriving on time. She styled the bride, bridal party, and two moms. Her calm personality added to the day going smoothly.
Everyone was happy with her work.

Angie recently styled my hair for my wedding, as well as, our bridal party and did an amazing job! Angela is amazing! I was unsure what I wanted my hair to look like on my wedding day. We scheduled 2 hair trials and she was extremely flexible. I absolutely loved my hair on our wedding day. Angela was just awesome! I got married on 4th of July weekend in St. Augustine. A pretty busy weekend, to say the least. My dad had arranged for her to come do my hair that day. I believe he only found her like a week, maybe 2 before the wedding. Not sure how my dad was able to pull that off, but I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. She came to my BnB room and did the hair for a couple girls in the bridal party and then me. We did not do a trial run or anything. I had sent her a couple pictures of what I was going for, and I had a decorative comb I wanted to incorporate, and she made it happen. Just stunning. She was just a joy to be around that day as well. Really great work. Highly recommend her!

Angie was FANTASTIC!!!! So easy going and laid back. She did a great job with everyone's hair - long hair, short hair, thin hair, thick hair. One of my bridesmaid's hair is notorious for falling flat and it held it's shape all night and it wasn't pressed against her head. Highly recommend!!!

Angela was so great to work with! I was initially really sad when she told me she was booked for the day of my wedding and had a hard time getting ahold of many other hair vendors. Luckily, a few weeks later she told me her previous commitment got rescheduled and would be open for our date and I was so happy. I first met Angie at my hair trial and she was really easy to talk to. She asked me what I was looking for and we discussed the different options and she styled it beautifully. A few days before the wedding, my mom decided she wanted to have her hair done, so I emailed Angie asking if my mom could be fit in and Angie had no problems and came half an hour early the day of the wedding to get my mom in. Everyone's hair looked beautiful on the day of the wedding and it surprisingly managed to stay intact despite the humidity. Would recommend Angie to any bride!

Talk about feeling fabulous! Angela worked her magic on myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom. We all asked for different hairstyles, and she delivered on each one! She also worked CRAZY FAST. So fast, in fact, that she offered to do a quick style for my mother-in--law and grandmother-in-law who had planned to only get their makeup done. Most importantly, Angela was a pleasure to spend the morning with! She made the "getting ready" process stress free and so much fun! I wish I lived in St. Augustine, so she could style my hair on a regular basis!

Angela Byrd, you mean hair goddess? This woman is amazing!!!!!! I mean, I am a event planner so I am used to being on email throughout the day. Angela was more responsive and helpful then my own Day Of planner. A tanning person canceled the night before we were supposed to tan, within 15min she had someone lined up to come to our room. Besides being the most responsive, helpful person I hired throughout the whole wedding process, she does some outstanding hair too. All of my bridesmaids
and myself were getting compliments throughout the evening.
I highly recommend her, she is great, has a terrific business sense, therapeutic to talk too if need be and goes above and beyond.
She even stayed and took pictures of the girls getting ready. Who else would do that?!

Angie was so helpful and responsive. I really appreciated how she always emailed back by the next day. It really took the stress off of trying to find someone reliable long distance. Angie did an amazing job on my bridesmaids, mom, and my hair for the day of the wedding. She is so friendly and is a great hair stylist. Angela was a complete joy to work with! Going for a vintage updo, one glance of a partial picture and she knew exactly how to do my hair in the most beautiful way. I was floored with not only how great it looked, how comfortable it felt, but also how securely it stayed! I danced non-stop for 3 hours and my hair never fell out of place. By the way - her hairspray smells delicious, too!

Angie is AMAZING and affordable! Book her now! She has been my hair stylist/colorist for years and is the best Ive ever been to! So of course I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair on my wedding day. She is so creative that I even usually say "surprise me" (I'm a bit of a control freak and can be picky) and she wows me every time. She will come to you wherever you are and is very professional and flexible. (My mom decided that she wanted her hair done at the last minute and Angie went through the trouble of fitting her in and then to my horror, my mom cancelled!) She listens to you and you can be assured that you will get exactly what you want. My wedding was on the beach and I wanted my long hair mostly down (crazy, I know). She worked in a side braid across the front with a small braid alongside and then spiral curled the rest using a freezing spray that left it soft to the touch but virtually unmovable on the windy beach for the ceremony and pics after. My hair was perfect and I miraculously had no strands across my face in the beach breeze!!! You will NOT be disappointed!

USE ANGELA! There are no words for how perfect Angela made my day. Think about your wedding day, you will literally spend more time with your hair and makeup people than anyone else on that day. Angela came to my room and styled my whole party. She kept me calm and on schedule and made us all look like the best version of ourselves. I wanted to have full hair and show off my colored tips and she did it perfectly. My bridesmaids loved their hair (one so much she kept it in to wear out the next night), and did a sweet braid on my flower girl in no time.
Angela also works VERY fast. She is social but not overpowering. She made herself available in the days leading up to finalize the day of plan. I got the feeling that she reads the bride- I am a worrier and she put me at ease. If a bride needed to be pulled along to finalize details, I think she could do that too.
A+ all around. My hair lasted all the way until I stepped out of the dress. No worries, no falling.

Two words: HIRE HER. When I first began my search for a hairstylist, I came to wedding wire and found a few in the St. Augustine area I was interested in. I emailed them all asking for prices and if they would travel to my hotel room. Angela was the first to respond and she responded within a couple of hours. I continued speaking with her about pricing and letting her know that I had 7 girls plus me, my mother in law AND my sister in law and flower girl. I was a little nervous that they would all get done before my 4pm wedding, but Angie was wonderful! Not only was she quick to respond with all my questions/concerns but she is just a fun person to talk to! After a wonderful trial appointment, we set up the time for her to come the day of. Because she was only a few minutes away, she did not charge me for a travel fee, which was very nice and not a lot of people were offering that. She arrived early that morning because she was excited... she loves what she does, ladies!
I could go on and on about how great my experience with Angela was, but just know that you will be getting the best pricing around with great professionalism and amazing results! ALL of my girls were in love with their hair, especially me :)

I could not have made it through the day with out her! She not only helped me unload my stuff, but she helped support me through the stress of the day. My hair looked amazing and held all night. Great prices. just wonderful!!!

Angela is amazing. She did a GREAT job doing my hair, but the best part about Angela is that she opened the shop on a Sunday to do my hair for my wedding day, and she also offered to come to the resort where we were staying at, just to do my hair. She is very good at what she does and she is a professional. Thank you Angela for everything.

I am so thankful that I found Angela to take care of me and my girls for my wedding day. Due to a series of unfortunate events, I had to cancel my hair appointment and Angela quickly rescheduled me to the next day no problem. But me being me, I was late for the reschedule and Angela still was able to accommodate me I could not have been more thankful. I gave very little direction to her but she nailed it. It was exactly what I had pictured in my mind, and I cried when she put my veil on. : ) She was on time the day of the wedding and let me tell you, this girl can move. She did an amazing job on each and everyone of my girls and even let my Aunt and my sister in law jump in and get their hair done. That was a total 9 ladies that she got done in 4 hours. I could not have been happier, and she is just a wonderful person. While I was freaking out and she was doing my hair, she rest a hand on my shoulder and reminded me to "Just Breathe". Brides you cannot go wrong hiring this gal, she is Auh-Mazing!!

Angie was so great. She is very professional and personable. She came to me. She was on time (early actually) and did a fantastic job. I showed her a picture and that is exactly how my hair looked. I felt like I looked like a movie star. For my bridesmaids who didn't know how they wanted their hair done she was able to do style that suited them and their personalities well. I want to do another event just so that I can use her again!

I LOVED having Angie as my stylist! She's so well rounded, capable to execute all styles from classic to funky. The best part is, she fills in the gaps in my imagination. I would bring pics to her and say, "I want something like this, but..." She always created color and cuts that looked great on me. I'd never be able to be so vague with anyone else and get such awesome results.

Angie not only did my wedding but multiple friends' weddings as well. She's so personable and fun, yet professional at the same time. I would recommend her to anyone!

Angela was absolutely amazing. She was so nice and personable from the moment I met her at my hair trial, plus she works fast and her work is beautiful! She responds to emails immediately and answers all questions. On the day of the wedding she had myself, 10 other women, and 2 flower girls hair to do. Everyone's hair was perfect! She is flexible and works with you to try to figure out exactly what you want. She made all the girls feel comfortable during the day and made sure everyone loved their hair. Everyone commented on how great mine and my bridesmaids hair was and how elegant everyone looked. Thank you Angela!

Angela was awesome for my wedding! She showed up on time with all supplies needed. She was very flexible and good at what she does. She had 8 girls to do and got them all done in no time at all. Angela took a few pictures I provided and was able to come up with the exact style for my wedding day. She perfectly captured the look I was going for. I have short hair and didn't think that I could pull off an 'updo', but she did exactly that. She's extremely calm and collected the day of, which is only a bonus to what she was able to pull off with my hair! Book her!

Angie came to my rescue big time. My best friend was supposed to do my hair but a week and a half before the wedding I started to get the feeling she was going to back out. I had been to see her previously for a hair cut and I loved her, so I e-mailed her and she said she was available if I needed her. Turns out, I did. With only 5 days notice, I booked her, she did a cut, color, and hair trial. I had so much fun at my hair trial - it was like hanging out with a friend, who just happens to be doing your hair. She tried a couple of different options, all were lovely, but she nailed it the first time. She came to me the day of (how convenient) and my hair turned out even better the day of the wedding. We were out on a boat for 2 hours during the ceremony and dancing another 4 hours after that and my hair still looked amazing. She even helped me with my fake eyelashes :) Angie is truly an artist - I will continue to use her for my everyday hair needs, plus any future fancy events!

Angela is first and foremost a really cool lady. She is laid back and put my stressed out bridal self completely at ease. I met her the day before my wedding and she put highlights in my hair. The next day she did my mom's hair, 3 of my bridal attendants, the flower girl and of course mine. She worked hard that day!!! Everyone looked beautiful. Thanks Angela!

Angie!!! LOVE HER LOVE HER LOVE HER!!! So much so that I have decided to switch to her for my every day hair needs!! She traveled to us with no additional fee since we were getting ready down the street from her salon. She did 5 bridesmaids and myself...they were all sooo HAPPY with their hair. Loved my hair for the wedding, she did a trial run and worked with all of the suggestions and tweeked it till it was perfect. She listened when any one had a suggestion or concern and worked with every hair type. She is so easy going and fun to be around. The day of your wedding you want someone who will help keep the nerves in check and she did that. She is super professional and her work is amazing!!! You should definitely use her!!! Most definitely worth using her :)

Angela was great! My hair looked better than it ever, a masterpiece. She also went out of her way to drive me back to my hotel so I wouldn't have to take a cab. I would definitely go back! See you next time I am in St. Augustine.

Angie was fabulous! She did the most amazing job on my hair. I loved that she came to me, instead of me having to travel to the salon on an already hectic day. I wanted to use extensions for volume and length, and Angie was extremely helpful in choosing a good quality but inexpensive product. I also loved that her talent allowed her to work quickly. She has excellent time managment skills, so if you have other girls using her services, you don't have to worry about not being done on time. She did my bridesmaids hair as well, and everyone looked beautiful!

Angie was my hairstylist for several years before she moved to Florida. She also did hair for me and my wedding party in 2008. She is one of the best stylists I have ever worked with....and the only one who I could sit down in front of and say, "Do whatever you think will look good," and the color and style turned out excellent every time. My wedding was no exception. She did an amazing job.

Angela has done my hair for two seperate weddings, and in both she did a magnificent job. She had to juggle huge parties, specific requests, and a little bit of bridezilla-ness. She made it look easy! She was quick and effective, while definately taking enough time to help us look our best. She and her staff always helped us feel at ease, and that the day was about the wedding, not little trivial things!! Also- in our bridal parties, we all had different hair types, textures, and lengths, and she was able to make them look like a cohesive group. It did not look like a bunch of random hairstyles next to each other! I would never use anyone BUT Angela at Shambhala!!

Angela with Shambhala Hair Studio was my primary hair stylist before I moved away, and her professionalism, talent, manner, and creativity was always present in her styles. With a few words (something like: "fun and choppy, but still conservative"), she would create a hairstyle that was fresh and flattering. Beyond her fantastic coloring and cuts, Angela styled my hair for four different weddings including my own. While I was again never great with descriptions or details, she would take my magazine scraps, a few key adjectives, and twist my hair into a beautiful style. Photographs of me as a bridesmaid and my own bridal portraits always bring about compliments of her talent.
I would without a doubt recommend Angela for your big day. Feel free to let her be creative - you won't be disappointed!

Angela was fantastic!!! She is not only a pleasure to work with but is very talented!!! She is also flexible & understanding to a bride's crazy schedule. Angela made herself available to do two haircuts, 2 grooms hair dos, 2 bridal hair dos & three bridesmaids during our wedding weekend for the Dress Rehearsal & Wedding Day! She also has a very calming personality which is good for a stressed out bride! haha

She did an amazing job with my bridesmaids hair dos! They each had different hair types but she was able to make them all look exactly like the picture I had found!
She did an awesome job with my hair also! Everyone loved the curls at the Dress Rehearsal especially since my hair is poker straight!

Angie of One Love Hair is absolutely amazing! I was so fortunate to have her do my wedding hair, all of my bridesmaids, both mothers, and two flower girls. She was so professional, quick, listened to what everyone wanted, and was fun! I did a hair trial with her a month before the wedding and she worked with me on what I envisioned and also gave me her feedback on what she thought would look good with my face shape and dress style. Angela responded quickly to our last minute wedding request. She not only got up very early in the morning but was a delight to work with. Angela was a breeze to work with. She had great ideas for our hair and was prepared ahead of time by asking for sample pictures of my type of hair and helped me pick out the funky hairdo I was trying to describe to her. Angie was so great! I heard of her from an old salon where she worked and she came highly recommended. She was super laid back and flexible, she fit me in the same day as she had someone else. She showed up early and found her own parking in downtown St. Augustine, which if you know the area is quite a feat. Our hair looked great and held the whole day. She was so friendly too.
