Beautiful Experience
My first introduction to Angel was earlier this year when I entered my first pageant and needed headshots. She came HIGHLY recommended by everyone I knew in the pageant world. I trusted their advice, and sure enough, Angel even exceeded my expectations.
Her makeup application is FLAWLESS, with precise attention to detail. Her headshots were gorgeous straight out of the camera, and the edits were executed beautifully. And on top of it all, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with Angel’s bubbly and uplifting personality being a joy to be around.
I cannot recommend Angel Studios enough! Best of the best.

Angel did my headshots for Miss SC in 2019 and the experience was more than I could have ever asked for! Not only did she take the time to listen to what my inspiration was for each look and offer her professional advice and creativity (even suggesting I try on some clothes she had on hand, that turned out to be my favorite looks) she also spoke to and treated me as if I had a been longtime client or friend of hers! As someone who does not find posing in front of the camera natural, Angel was extremely patient with me on posing and made me feel beyond confident. Probably due for an updated headshots but I still use mine to this day!

Brought to tears.
Angel did my hair and makeup for a two-week-long pageant. After a 7-year break from competing and 5 intense years of studying for nearly 10-12 hours per day, all I wanted was to make friends and feel pretty. Needless to say, Angel exceeded my expectations. My parents and I poured tears upon seeing her work. She made me realize just how beautiful I am. Angel doesn't realize the impact she has had on my life. I walked in a shy young woman and left her chair feeling that I could conquer challenges much more difficult than a pageant - confidence. More importantly, I felt as if Angel became a friend whom I could trust with my insecurities.

There is no other team I would trust for my special day. I used Angel's team for several pageants and the fun, inviting, and professional atmosphere is top notch. When I decided to be in the Mrs SC pageant I knew I had to go to Angel Samples for HMU and headshots. Angel was easy to talk to and made me feel glamorous . My headshots were absolutely out of this world. After being crowned Mrs SC AMERICAN I knew I needed her team to come with me to nationals in Las Vegas. Chelsea Sorrel was such a blessing. I felt so uplifted and loved the entire 10 days and I never looked better. Once being crowned Mrs American Chelsea came back to Mrs World with me and back to nationals as I passed on my crown this year! I had a boudoir shoot done for my husband and Angel did an amazing job! I couldn't be happier with the results. She made me feel totally comfortable and told me exactly how to pose in order to get the best result. Angel is a very sweet and talented individual. Angel actually took my engagement pictures. She was really nice to work with- very creative, and flexible, and has a real talent. She worked quickly and efficiently, and we were really pleased with the final pictures! It was really convenient using her, because she also does hair and make up! And she is super affordable!!! I had a lot of fun at my photo shoot with Angel. She is a great makeup artist and hair stylist. Angel is super nice and helpful, she helped me loosen up in front of the camera and had many ideas of how to pose since it was my first photo shoot ever. If it weren't for her my day would not have been as special. Seeing the look on my husband's face when he saw me was an amazing feeling. He told me how beautiful my hair and makeup looked and that is not something he says. haha. Angel made me feel like the beautiful bride I wanted to be. I thank her so much for everything she did! What can I say about Angel that hasn't already been said? Except the fact that everything you read is TRUE! She is extremely talented and truly gifted at what she does! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day! My make-up and hair were flawless and remained that way throughout my big day! I had seen Angel's work on her website and through others so I knew that she was talented before we booked her. We booked Angel to do all the bridesmaids and the bride's hair for my best friend's wedding. Angel was very easy to work with, timely, polite, and professional. I own a national model & talent agency. We hired Angel as our hair/makeup artist for a large 16 month calendar shoot. Models are not the easiest people to deal with & Angel was so pleasant & wonderful to everyone the entire day. She had to leave her house every morning at 5am, & didnt finish until late night. She never complained, was so helpful during the entire day, made everyone look super fabulous in all their photos, & she even stepped in as a model when we were in a bind with a last minute model cancellation. I opted to do a consultation on my hair prior to the wedding and she worked with me to create the perfect style to compliment my face. On the day of the wedding she had such great energy. She kept right on schedule and even finished a few minutes early enough to give everyone a final touch up before we left. I was searching for a makeup artist that can do both wedding hair and makeup at the same time. I am a very picky person when it comes to hair and makeup :) At the same time I was searching for someone that is a little more affordable yet can give me the look the way that I love. I found Angel while randomly searching through weddingwire. I first added her on facebook to see all her work and see how much I will like her. I like what I see so far so I decided to contact her to see what would her price be. Let just say that I have never thought of a price that is that affordable so I booked Angel for a bridal consultant. To me it is very important to do that because even with a great artist you still have to search for the look that you like. Everyone has different taste when it comes to hair and make up :) At our first bridal consultant I thought I know exactly what I want and how I will look but that was not the case. After the first consultant I felt that the look was just not right for me. I contacted Angel again and ask her if we could try something else to make it work for my features. Let just say that I have never work with anyone that is that patient as Angel. I feel like I have so many flaws and that poor Angel has to find different way to work with my 'unique' features hehehe She spent so much time on me just so that I can be happy with my look. Yes, if you ask me I say I am a very difficult person to work with but Angel won't admit it :) She works with me until I am 100% happy with my look. I had a very early wedding ceremony and I almost felt sorry that she had to start our session at 6:30am in the morning since I also book her for my bridesmaids makeup. On the wedding day Angel knows exactly what to do and she made me look beautiful.....I hope everyone wasn't lying to me j/k :) I love my hair, my makeup, my bridesmaids makeup. Everyone looks so pretty! That morning my cousin saw how Angel did my makeup and decide to have Angel does her makeup also. Let just say that I saw my cousin at the reception and I thought I've never seen her looking that pretty. I have nothing but possitive comments about Angel and if you're Asian, no worries she is a master at Asian eyes now LOL Thanks so much girl!!!!!! :) Oh and I highly recommend Bridal Consultant prior to your wedding day. It makes you less nervous and more time to fix your look if you're still not satisfy. It's worth it!

While I'm not a bride, I am a freelance model in the Upstate of South Carolina that has worked with many hair and makeup artists. I can say that Angel's work is without a doubt truly exceptional. She is a pleasure to work with not only while sitting in the chair but also when you see the final product. She is clean, polite, and entertaining! My false eyelashes didn't come off until I wanted them too and that is something very important on the set of a photoshoot. Angel is very flexible and professional and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Wonderful job! She was more than happy to do anything we needed her to, and she was so close to where we were going to be she was more than willing to come back if we needed touch ups. SUPERB!

She was great. Angel was so accomodating and she made me look exactly the way I wanted to look. She also has very reasonable prices. I could not have asked for a better person to make pretty. She's also very personable and sociable as well as being extremely gorgeous. True personification of beauty on the inside as well as the outside.

Angel did the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids on ONE week notice. Completely professional and super sweet! Some of my bridesmaids weren't originally planning on getting their hair/makeup professionally done either because of cost or they just didn't feel the need to pay for something they could do on their own, but after seeing Angel's work, every single bridesmaid lined up so she could work her magic. My lovely ladies were gorgeous on my wedding day, and I would strongly recommend Angel!!!

Angel is amazing. She did my hair and make up for my sisters wedding along with three other bridesmaids and the bride. We were all very pleased with the wonderful outcomes. She got my sisters hair to curl, and actually stay that way.(that's a miracle) she is very talented and next year when I get married I will also request that she does everyones hair and make-up again.thanks again angel!

Her name says it all...Angel is truly angelic. She has such a sweet spirit that puts you completely at ease, which is very important on as stressful a day as your wedding! She is also extremely talented. She did makeup for myself, my 5 bridesmaids, my mom and mother-in-law and everyone looked AWESOME!! I recommend her to everyone I talk to :)

Angel did my hair and makeup for a photoshoot i did recently. and I must say she did an amazing job. She knows what shes doing trust me when I say that. Shes been working on this for a long time so I would definitely recommend her.

Angel did makeup for myself and my 5 bridesmaids for our May wedding. She did a wonderful job! All of my bridesmaids were gorgeous and I was flawless for the big day. She is very professional. She arrived on time and got straight to doing what she does best. We didn't tell her any colors we wanted or specific ideas we had on makeup and after looking at all the dresses she knew what to do on each person. Angel truly has a gift for making people look beautiful. She is so sweet. My cousin told me after the wedding that she had told Angel she really didn't know much about makeup because her mom never wore any or had shown her how to put it on. She said as Angel was applying her makeup she was showing her what she was doing and how to do it. It really meant so much to my cousin that she would take her time to talk to her about it. We had so many compliments throughout the night about how good our makeup was and how beautiful we looked. She is wonderful!!!!

Angel is an artist! I pretty much showed her some pictures of looks that I liked and she made it happen. My portraits turned out beautifully! She was EXTREMELY patient with me the day of the wedding, too... I couldn't decide on my hair or get it to do what I wanted, I ended up changing my makeup, and we had to touch up my eyes from the tears shed over other wedding issues, etc. Her team treated my bridal party well and even accommodated us when our first location for getting ready fell through. Her prices were also very reasonable. The only thing that disappointed me was the tattoo cover up on my bridesmaids. We ended up wiping it off before the ceremony because it looked like a nasty bruise covered with thick, too dark makeup, nothing like the pictures on the website. I'm not sure what happened there, maybe the fact that we ended up running short on time..? Overall, not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I would definitely recommend her!

Angel Studios is the best in the industry.
When I say Angel Studios is the best in the industry, I absolutely mean it. Angel is not only a one of a kind talent, she has the biggest heart. Angel makes you feel so comfortable from start to finish. Her work speaks for itself, but just in case it doesn’t, I fly all the way from New York to South Carolina every time I want new headshots taken because her work is unmatched. I’ve never been a bride, but you better believe I will be hiring Angel and her team when I do get married. They will make sure you radiate beauty on your wedding day! I can’t wait to fly back to SC for my next shoot.
