Marti is amazing!

I had a last minute emergency when my original makeup artist had to cancel due to covid 3 days before my wedding. Marti from Angel Face Makeup happened to be available and was gracious enough to accept myself and 3 members of my bridal party on such short notice and went out of her way to meet us at the venue on the schedule I had set with my original MUA. Her knowledge of makeup and hair is apparent and she did a fantastic job. We all got airbrushed makeup and faux eyelashes applied with plenty of time to spare. She was full of tips and tricks and made getting ready so much fun with her easy going nature. My skin can be tricky but she took her time, explained why she was doing what she did, and my makeup didn’t budge all night! She checked with everyone for final touch ups before she left and even offered hair and makeup advice to members of the party who chose to do their own makeup. I can’t recommend her highly enough for not only her skill but also her personality and how stress free and fun she made she situation. Also, I had some pictures of what I liked which she reviewed and then had suggestions when she started doing my makeup about how she could take my inspiration pics and tailor the look to my skin and eyes. I highly advise listening to her recommendations; my final look was much better than anything I showed her pictures of. Thank you Marti and Angel Face Makeup!

Best bridal makeup ever

Marti did my makeup for my wedding, and it was perfect! She also did three of my bridesmaid's and my mother-in-law's makeup - all exactly what they wanted, and they all looked stunning! Marti is so friendly and so much fun, and she will absolutely make sure that the bride is the best looking person in the room. I HIGHLY recommend booking with Marti. She's amazing!!!

Love love love marti she did my makeup and hair for my cousins wedding then came back 5 years later to do my hair and make up for my wedding I looked absolutely beautiful thanks to her and I couldn't be more happier with it thank you marti!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best hair and makeup experience of my life!

I loved every moment of my experience with Marti of Angel Fave Makeup! This was my absolute favorite time getting my hair and makeup done for so many reasons! Marti was so professional from the moment my appointment was set (checking in, asking about my expectations, likes, etc) and she was truly a pleasure to work with!! Great personality, and she truly made the experience fun and memorable! She frequently told me that if I wasn’t completely satisfied with how my hair or makeup looked she could fix them and that her goal was for me to be happy. But I loved everything! I would highly recommend Marti to anyone looking for professional makeup whether it’s for your wedding, headshots, a fun girls’ night out or any other occasion!

I used Angel Face Makeup at the recommendation of my wedding photographer. Marti did my hair/make-up for both my boudoir photo shoot and wedding day. She was so wonderful to work with, gave great tips and ideas along the way and most important, made me feel beautiful!
On my wedding day, she and her assistant also did my bridesmaids and flower girls. I couldn't have been more happy. And all my girls LOVED there look!

Marti and her assistant, Madison, did my bridal and bridal party's hair and makeup for my wedding day in September 2017. Marti is extremely professional and was very accommodating when I was trying to plan our wedding from out of state. My hair and makeup was perfect and it still looked great after hours of dancing and a few tears during the ceremony! I highly recommend Marti aka Angel Face Makeup for wedding day hair and makeup. Marti was amazing! She was very accommodating to my wishes and was even able to change up looks for me last minute like I wanted. She is always full of ideas and suggestions to help those who may be indecisive (like me). Marti was also open to hearing feedback about her work and willing to change ideas around just to make sure I was completely happy with my look. She was very organized and worked in a timely matter. Marti made me feel very comfortable and at ease during such a stressful time. I would definitely recommend her to others for their special events!

Marti was amazing to work with! We had done 2 trials because I wanted to make some changes. The 2nd trial was amazing. The work she did was amazing, and each time she did my make-up, she out did herself and blew me away!

I'd definitely recommend Marti, and I plan to go back to her for other events!

Marti is absolutely fantastic! She did my hair and make up several years ago for my mother's wedding. When I got engaged, I immediately contacted her to book for my own wedding. She has great ideas for hair and make up and myself and my bridesmaids were very pleased with her service, skills, and prices. I would recommend her to anyone looking for professional skills! I loved working with Angel Face Makeup! Marti & her team were so amazing. They took the time to listen to what everyone wanted. It was also awesome to see how they would make suggestions on what would enhance the hair and makeup vs just throwing the hair up on the make up on. My bridal party, mom & mother-in-law look flawless! I would highly recommend using Angel Face Makeup!

Marty was wonderful! I am a very natural bride so getting my make up professional done made me very nervous. Marty walked me through the whole process and exceeded my expectations. She was very patient with me and made me feel absolutely beautiful. Marty also exceeded my expectations with my hair, i have very long hair and wanted tight curls, my wedding day ended up being very humid and 90 degrees, I was so worried my curls wouldn't work. Marty had a great technique which made my curls hold all day! Thank you marty, your the best!!!

Marti was a pleasure to work with and wonderful at what she does. My husband, myself, and a few from bridal party all came to her for airbrush spray tans before our wedding. I highly recommend going to someone you TRUST to do a good job (like Marti) on a spray tan before your wedding day so you do not end up orange or streaky.
She also did airbrush make up on our wedding day. She was always quick to respond to emails and very flexible with timing and appointments. She offered a discount with a certain size group of girls. The airbrush make up stayed on perfectly and looked flawless all day. Everyone was pleased with their make up, which photographed perfectly looking natural and beautiful. She was quick to help make the day run smoothly and did touch ups on everyone before we left and also put in my veil for me.

Marti did my makeup for my wedding day and did a wonderful job. She came to the hotel which was immensely helpful.
The makeup stayed on all throughout the day and looked great in the pictures. She did hair dos for a bunch of people in my wedding party,everybody wanted something different and she was able to do all of them,all my girls looked great!
She confirmed with me a couple times before the wedding about time and so I felt very confident about her arrival .
I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking!

I had a wonderful experience working with Marti for my wedding in September. She was very outgoing and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. She took the time to ask me exactly what I envisioned and played with different colors at the trial. She did an absolutely amazing job and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. I received so many compliments throughout the evening. The makeup help up beautifully ALL night! My bridesmaids also looked stunning and they were thrilled with their makeup. Marti was amazing and not only did I....the Bride.....look fantastic, my 2 bridesmaids looked incredible too! I'm happy Marti did my make up for my wedding. The make up looked really beautiful, natural, can cover blemishes and it lasts the whole day from early morning to midnight. She finished as scheduled even though she arrived a bit late from appointment time. Highly recommended.

Oh MY GOD!!! Marti is so awesome I can barely stand it. Not ONLY did she make me look awesome on my day, she made me FEEL awesome. And the fact that she comes to the house the day off to get you ready is so glorious. She is a delight to work with. She and I had a two hour consultation about 6 weeks before my wedding and she listens and has such great ideas. She made me look so good! And she did my moms make up also and she looked gorgeous.

Angel face makeup was the best I love my makeup and my hairstyle on my Wedding day I felt beautiful and very confident that I was going to have my makeup and hair done on time to make it to the ceremony and to keep it on for the entire day. I think Marti was one of the best vendor decisions I made for my wedding. I have never felt more beautiful in my life, and I have Marti to thank for that. Not only is she great at hair and makeup, she is great at understanding your particular vision and executing it. I wanted a somewhat messy, but still elegant, style that could have gone very wrong in other hands. Instead, Marti gave me EXACTLY what I wanted, and I felt like I could have walked the red carpet. She also helped me with my whole look, from the position of my veil to my jewelry. I am not the kind of person that gets called "stunning" or "gorgeous" very often, but I was called that, more times than I can count, on my wedding day, and that's because Marti made me look and feel great. I still looked amazing at 2 a.m.! I looked in the mirror before my new husband and I turned in and was like, "How is this possible?!" My photographer also said her makeup photographs beautifully, something you totally want for those photos you'll be keeping around for your lifetime. Marti is also a pleasure to talk to, and, since she comes to you on your wedding day, makes things really simple for you. I'd highly recommend Marti to any future bride!

Marti was so helpful and did an absolutely wonderful job. As the MOB I could not have been happier with the quality of her work. I got tons of compliments ("Stunning!!" - have not heard that in years!) and my daughter looked soooo gorgeous. Initially, at the trial, my daughter felt the look was a bit dark so she revised the colors and the look was fabulous. She is ready and willing to make suggestions and she listens to your likes and dislikes, working as long as it takes to get the right look. She uses the dress to make the look fit the style and balances everything. Although she did not do our hair she did make some suggestions and we were very very happy with everything. She is prompt, reasonable, and very professional. You will not be sorry you used her services!!

Marti was one of the best parts of my wedding. she is personally lovely, fun, flexible and very professional.
I am a 63 year old bride but Marti made me feel younger and I was delighted with two makeup applications she did for me and my sister.
The airbrush foundation is wonderful coverage that lasts all day and yet appears very light. Marti knew exactly how to enhance our makeup without us looking over done.
Marti also is a very talented hairdresser and I loved my hair which survived an outdoor photo shoot and all evening reception.
She also has an affiliate who does fantastic lash extensions!

Marti was absolutely wonderful! She responded to my inquiries and was able to take care of my wedding hair/make-up needs with very little prior notice. Marti travelled to my home so that I did not have to do the extra running around on my wedding day and was on time and very professional. The end result was totally great and I still get compliments to this day on how nice I looked. I have already recommended Marti to family and friends, she was amazing.

Marti was really fun to work with and she did an absolutely amazing job on my hair and makeup! I had a lot of fun getting to know her at the consultation and knew right away that she was going to do a great job. She talked to me about what I wanted for my hair and makeup and made slight adjustments as she went if I had comments about what she was doing.

And amazingly, she did an even better job on the actual day of the wedding! It was all really perfect! My photographer was really impressed with her as well; he said that she knew exactly how to use makeup to bring out the striking features of someone's face and accent the important areas to highlight them. All sort of lingo to me, but I know she did a great job.

I am so happy I chose to use Marti at Angel face Makeup. Not only did she do an amazing job on my facial makeup, she also did an amazing job covering up two tattoos on my upper arms. The process takes a little time to do but it was totally worth not having my tattoos show in my wedding dress. I would recommend Angel face Makeup to any bride who is trying to cover up those unwanted tattoos in their wedding dress and who wants to have perfect makeup for the big day!

My experience with Angel face makeup could not have been better.

Marti was able to get me in when I needed, willinging to start as early as I needed. My experience when working with her was comfortable and relaxing.

She is confident in her work and rightly so. She did my hair and make up for a wedding i was the Maid of Honor for and both came out stunning! When we were done it was down pouring and she even made sure to get me in my car safe and dry by pulling my car into her garage!!!

The whole night everyone complimented on how beautiful I looked, I felt like a superstar from begining to end because my make up and hair stayed put the whole evening! Which was great because the last thing you want to worry about is touching up make up and hair when you are dancing and have a good time!

Thank you Marti! I will be back for many more events and for my own wedding.

Nothing, but good reviews for Marti and her professional work! My sister and I had the airbrush makeup application done for my wedding and I have to say, it truely lasted ALL day long! Pictures looked beautiful! I definitely recommend Marti Angel Face Makeup for your special day, she is great at what she does and very professional.

Marti was amazing! She used airbrush makeup on me and my mom, and I have never looked more radiant than I did on my wedding day! I had a trial, so I was able to get an idea of the type of look I was going for and she came to my house for the day of the wedding. The airbrush makeup truly stayed on ALL DAY! Me (the Bride) and my bridal party (1 Maid of Honor and 3 Bridesmaids) had a great experience with Angel Face Makeup!! The airbrush makeup truly lasted the entire day and looked beautiful! I am not someone who normally wears a lot of makeup and I never wear foundation so I was nervous about getting my makeup done for my wedding. I was worried that I would not look like myself. Airbrush makeup is AMAZING! Marti is AMAZING!! I didn’t even feel like I had makeup on and my skin looked so flawless and beautiful. My makeup lasted all day and night, as well as my hair. I even took a little nap in between my lunch reception and evening family outing and my hair and makeup still looked wonderful.

My wedding was an early morning wedding so we had to be up at 4 something in the morning. Marti showed up right on time and completed my hair, my maid of honor’s hair and my mother’s hair along with airbrush makeup for all of us. We were ready with time to spare and everyone looked beautiful. My maid of honor even used her for her wedding after seeing what a wonderful job she did during my trial run. I would HIGHLY recommend Marti.

Marti did an EXCELLENT job at making feel and look absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I don't wear a lot of makeup and I was worried about having a lot of makeup for my wedding day, but she did amazing. I also had an overnight blemish pop up and she completely covered it! The makeup lasted until I scrubbed my face the next early morning. My hair was beautiful as well. She was very accommodating and made me so happy. Going to her for my hair and makeup on my special day was definitely one of my best experiences!

Marti was great! My makeup and hair looked beautiful. Marti is a perfectionist and a pleasure to work with. The only snag was that I live in the city and Marti is in the suburbs; getting together for a consultation/trial-run was a little tricky.

I selected Marti as the makeup artist for my wedding in October 2014 after hearing many great reviews about her. She did airbrush makeup on myself (bride), 3 bridesmaids and my mom. She was great! We were getting ready at a hotel and she arrived on time with all of her own materials. She is very friendly and personable... it's like having your makeup done by a friend! We eventually got a little behind schedule with the makeup application, but she kept everyone calm and we all looked beautiful! The makeup lasted all day and looked great in pictures! She listened to how I described my ideal look for my wedding, and added great suggestions. Prior to the wedding day, my mom and I went to Marti's home for a makeup trial. She did a full makeup application and wanted honest feedback to make sure it was perfect. Overall, I think Marti did a great job! I felt beautiful on my wedding day and would highly recommend her to other brides!

I had 10 people in my wedding party getting hair and makeup done. Everyone was done on time, however they showed up almost an hour late which was a little stressful. My hair did start to come out of its updo at the end of the night at the reception which I was bummed about but I do have a lot of hair. All the other wedding party's hair help up nicely that had an updo. I loved my make up and would recommend Angel Face Makeup for air brush makeup and hair. If you have a lot of hair make sure you ask them to really secure it!

Marti did a wonderful job on my make-up! I had done a trial on the day of my bachelorette party and thought it was very party appropriate however I was concerned about the transition to the style for my wedding day. Her talents were amazing! She did a great job on my airbrush make-up and it lasted throughout the hot July day! She was a perfectionist and made sure everything was perfect before she left. My mom and MOH also had their make-up done and turned out wonderfully!

My daughter's(the bride) and my makeup was impeccable. Marti Listened to everything we wanted and improved on our original vision. The bride was beyond beautiful and I received more compliments on my hair and makeup than I've ever received in my entire lifetime. I can't recommend her enough. Wonderful!

Marti was so great. Booking her was a little tough because I live in Florida but our wedding was in Chicago. Luckily she was very flexible with her schedule so that I could book my trial during the time I was briefly in town.
I thought she did a great job and really listened to what I wanted. Plus she is just a nice person and fun to talk to when you're all in a room together for several hours!
My makeup looked so great, and stayed on so well, I actually still looked the same when I woke up the next morning.
She doesn't want to deal with credit cards though, so I had to pay for all the girls beforehand, but that's not that big of a deal. She gave us a discount for a big group, and I thought the price was reasonable, especially considering how pretty everyone looked.

Marti did my bridal hair and makeup. She was very attentive-she promptly returned phone calls and emails. After the trial run, the makeup looked good but I didn't feel like it was quite right for me personally-I wanted to change it a bit for the wedding. I am not what you would call "girly" and usually wear no makeup at all, but thought I should for the wedding since that's the one day you should look your best. I had a lot of ideas about what makeup I think looks good in general, but no concept of what looks good on me, so I was a bit of a challenge. So between the trial run and wedding, I sent her pictures of makeup ideas and talked to her a few times on the phone, and we came up with a plan to change it up for the wedding. She wants to make sure you are happy with how you look on your wedding day and will take the time to make sure that happens. Her prices are a little on the high end of the normal range, but it includes airbrush makeup and she doesn't charge a travel fee if you're relatively closeby. She will come out for just the bride, so that's also a plus, since many of the other stylists won't come to you unless you convince your whole wedding party to have their hair and makeup done too. That was less stress on me, since only one bridesmaid wanted to have her hair done initially. On the day of the wedding, she also brought another hairstylist (Nancy) with her as a last minute request because now my family also decided they wanted their hair done too. Then when Nancy was finishing up, one of my other bridesmaids called who had their hair straightened the day before somewhere else because it was no longer straight and she needed to use the flatiron. Nancy was nice enough to wait for her and touch up her hair. My hair and makeup took longer than we had allotted because we were changing it from the trial run, but it wound up looking beautiful and I still looked like me (only better). So the one thing I would suggest is definitely allow more time than you think you'll need if you're trying something different than the trial run. If you're doing the same thing, you should be fine with the standard time frame because Marti is very organized and keeps track of everything from the trial run and can duplicate it easily. The hair and makeup looked great in the pictures and I received many compliments on it. It was a really hot day and the makeup held up well for our outdoor ceremony. Since I never wear foundation, I was not looking forward to that especially in the heat, but the airbrush makeup was very light and didn't feel like regular foundation. Marti also created a lipstick shade using a lipstick and lipliner that I love-I wanted red lipstick but couldn't find the right shade for my complexion from the store so she made one by combining the two. So I might even wear lipstick a bit more often from now on.

Marti was wonderful to work with. She is very friendly and offers many ideas for us. The color she chose for our makeup turned out beautifully and not over done. Our wedding day was really hot and the most of the makeup stayed on ( I think if we had not sweat, all of it would stayed on). Marti and her assistance was excellent. There were only 2 of us getting makeup applications and it was nice that there wasn't a minimum. Sonja did an amazing job. Sonja was really patient and waited since my hair appt ran longer than expected. The airbrush makeup was great and didn't budge the whole day.

I was not going to write a review because I don't like being negative, but Angel Face has sent me three separate requests (with my name spelled wrong) to do so. I have to admit that all of my bridesmaids looked spectacular- their hair and makeup were flawless.

However, I don't think I'd recommend them to anyone unless they were used to wearing a lot of makeup already. I went to Marti's house for the trial, and the first thing she asked me was where was the veil. When I told her I didn't have one, she started arguing with me and told me she'd convince me I needed one. At the end of the trial she insisted on putting a veil on me even though I was really sure I didn't want one. Nancy was the makeup and hair stylist, and although she is VERY talented, she wasn't really willing to listen to what I wanted without me putting up a huge fight (which I did). I ended up going with Angel Face anyway because by the end of the trial everything did look really nice.

On my wedding day Nancy was there early, but she wanted to do my hair and makeup last because that way it would be fresher for the ceremony. I pulled the bridezilla card and told her I wanted to be first anyway, and I'm glad I did. Even though she brought another stylist with her, the hair and makeup took so long that the bridesmaids and I had to leave without my mom to get to the ceremony location for pictures.

The other thing that bothered me was that my maid of honor specifically asked to have natural-looking makeup like mine (she doesn't wear ANY makeup in real life), and Nancy insisted on putting more and more on her, and scoffed at her for twitching during eyeliner application. She made my maid of honor feel uncomfortable, and I still feel bad that she made my best friend feel that way.

In sum, if you are already comfortable with wearing makeup, then by all means hire them... but if you're more of a natural/no-makeup person, you should probably look somewhere else.

Very mediocre in my opinion especially with regard to hair services. I used Angel face on my wedding day and I had a couple trials before that (which I was charged for each time). The makeup was done beautifully done thou, my bridesmaids and I used the airbrush makeup and both Marti and Madison know what they're doing. However, the hair was not impressive. At least they could've used more hairspray on the curls with how much money we had spent. Worst of all the biggest stress was that we had a schedule for Marti and her team to come to our house the morning of and one of her girls bailed! Granted they still got us done except one bridesmaid unfortunately and we were running very late but they did try hard.
