All inclusive!! Great service and great price

We had our wedding at Andre's new location-Oak Valley in Pevely. We were married in the pavilion overlooking the river with a gorgeous view! The reception was held at the same location in the brand new ballroom-also gorgeous! The food was great and Donna and the staff were awesome! They went over and above their normal duties to help with everything and kept everything running smoothly. Complete Music also did a great job! Everyone said it was the best wedding and reception they had ever attended.

We are SO elated we chose Andre's Banquet Facilities- Sunset Hills location. This facility was affordable without the cheap look. With all the services included in our package, there was no way we could choose another reception location. We were able to have the wedding of our dreams without going into debt! Thank you Andre's!

It was awesome and I loved the place

If you want something affordable and well worth the money, PICK ANDRE'S SOUTH!!!! We worked with Diana (who was AWESOME!!!!). She helped us with setting up the deposit and making our payments throughout the year until our wedding. We had 125 guests and with the add-ons we chose, (including food and 4 hour open bar) it cost us less than $2,500. Thanks again for all the great work you all did. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! We also rented tuxes through them, which was awesome because all of the guys left their tuxes there at the end of the night so no one had the chance to lose anything!!! Harter's Bakery is their recommended bakery, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!!! They have AWESOME cake and did an awesome job on our super hero themed cakes :)

Andre's is a good vender they go above and beyond to make sure everything is to your liking and the food tasting is wonderful good food

This was a fantastic place for our reception. The staff was very helpful. All inclusive place. Plus the food was amazing and they donate leftover food to those in need. Highly recommend Andre's.

Andre's has always gotten back to us quickly when we had questions and they will find or make time for you to go in whenever you need to. I've had lots of questions and requests for my wedding day and they've had answers right away for me, and their one-stop-shop for everything wedding related is not only convenient but also affordable. We're getting great deals on the food, flowers, DJ, tuxedos, and the cake is included in our package.

Great food, on time, staff was professional and helpful! Everyone enjoyed their meals and they even packed up the leftovers and left them in the fridge at the reception hall for us. I would highly recommend.

John and his team at Andre's know exactly what they are doing. Not only did they cater our wedding reception, but we were also able to order our wedding invitations and suits through them. They have a great relationship with an area bakery, so our cake was included in our catering costs too! I would not hesitate to use Andre's for any party I need to have catered.

We have been planning our wedding for over a year and we were blessed to have met the owners of Andres and Ambrusters Chapel. They have worked with our budget to meet our needs and are truly a one stop shop! I highly recommend this vendor to budget friendly brides and grooms!

We used Andres at the fox run location. Our wedding was on a Sunday, specifically mothers day. It was an absolutely gorgeous wedding (even though it poured down rain during the ceremony). Lightning strikes just for me as I entered the aisle. Pretty cool! The pavilion kept most of us dry, though everyone knows how that st. Louis weather can be.

Andres was great, because they did give us the option (like a plan B) to have the ceremony in the reception hall...but I was plenty happy with it being outside =)

The Andres staff were awesome! They were so nice. TJ was our coordinator, and always answered all of our questions. He could be a little flaky sometimes, but he kept good enough notes to keep us straight from every other couple. The food was amazingly yummy! Guests are still talking about that a couple weeks later. I really wish I could have eaten more!

The only thing that really went wrong was a miscommunication between Andres and the Fox Run venue, where we did not get pink napkins on the tables, and the townhomes were not prepared for us, which was disappointing. TJ apologized for the problems, and did make sure we received a refund for those missed details.

Overall, the value, and service was amazing, and we would recommend this vendor to everyone.

Andres was very helpful in getting everything ready and making things very understandable for our upcoming wedding. They responded very quickly to any questions we had. Andres West is an awesome venue and we look forward to having our reception there.

Andre's South had everything I was looking for at a great price. The banquet hall provided the center pieces, cake, food, and beverages. I wanted to make the reception easy on myself and the guests.

Andre's made my entire planning process sooooo easy! I was a DYI bride, so this allowed me to spend my time on other things. Jennifer was AMAZING!!! She was there for the entire evening making sure everything ran on time and smoothly. At the same time, she was very flexible and allowed me to change anything. She make the day stress free for me and my husband. Not only were we impressed, but other family members commented on the quality of her service in addition to how FANTASTIC the food was. The food was as close to a home-cooked meal, that grandma used to make, as you can get! I would highly recommend there company and the venue we had was stunning as well.

Andre's did a great job handling our wedding reception. Everything went perfectly, and they were very helpful in the planning process.

Andres is so helpful and easy to work with. They will do venue catering or at their own banquet centers. We had them cater onsite at our wedding venue. The food was unbelievably delicious with large variety of menu choices. We also had passed appetizers and a bartender. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. Staff was professional and courteous. Bartender was great. We could not ask for anything better. I would highly recommend.

Andre's was beautiful and the food was amazing! It was a bit annoying getting phone calls and emails from their preferred vendors all the time, but I supposed that comes with any venue.

Andre’s South did an amazing job on our Reception. Juliette was amazing in helping us throughout the entire process, from doing our invitations to suggesting a florist and DJ. The only thing that I would have wanted different would have been having Juliette there the night of our reception. The lady that was there assisting us did a great job; I was just already comfortable with Juliette. We did have one mishap that night with our toasting flutes being broken by one of the waiters. Everyone involved was very apologetic and was quick to get us a substitute glass. The manager was very quick in his response to replace our items, which was greatly appreciated. We also received a lot of compliments on how well the food tasted that night. I’ve have been to a lot of wedding myself over the past year and Andre’s, by far, has the best food. Thank you to Juliette and everyone else at Andre’s for helping make our big day a night to remember!

Andre's did a great job catering my wedding reception. Sometimes buffet food at a wedding can be questionable. Not with Andre's! The food was delicious! I had more guests comment on how wonderful the meal was.

We had an excellent time at our reception held at Andre's South. Everything was taken care of by them and there were no worries on our end. We had our reception in the Stage Room on a Saturday afternoon. You cannot beat the value that you receive in their afternoon package. Great price for everything that was included If you are looking to save money and still have a nice reception, this is the way to go! You would not have known it was held during the day as they close the doors and it was just like having an evening reception. The food was awesome - hot, fresh and delicious. Their one-stop shopping is great as we booked our photographer, DJ, limo, tuxes and cake all through Andre's and none of them disappointed. I would recommend Andre's to anyone looking for a wedding reception venue.

The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing! We had an amazing time and couldnt have asked for anything more. The staff was friendly and we had no problems!

We went to Andre's South, located at 255 and Telegraph!

This place is beautiful! We had "The Stage" room, and about 250 guest, the room was very nice. We got in early morning to set up our centerpieces. They are very flexable, our cake lady got there and set up later and our DJ got there approx. an hour before our reception started to set up!

The food was great!

The staff there was extremely helpful through our whole wedding process. They called to check in with us almost monthly to see if there was anything they could help with. I did a lot of DIY, but they have a wide array of services, from tuxes, cakes, invitations, etc. to help you with if you need it.

Andres made the whole entire planning process so easy. There food is amazing and there so reasonably priced. There banquet rooms are very up to date and dress up very nice. I couldn't have thanked them enough for making our day so special

We used the Shalimar Room at the Best Western in Festus. Sarah did an outstanding job in making sure everthing was ready to go and that there was no problems. She also would come over to check with the bride and groom to make sure they or anybody didn't need anything and if they did she or someone else got it for them. Great job.

Sarah was wonderful to work with. She helped me throughout the entire process and was able to incorporate my ideas even though they were not traditional for Andre's. I could not have asked for a better caterer!

They were AMAZING throughout the WHOLE process. I ordered tux's and our invites through them as well. The day of --they were amazing, and made our reception run smoothly. I was against a typical reception hall, and they prooved to me that they coould out do any places by far!

FABULOUS VALUE AND GREAT FOOD AND BEAUTIFUL SETUP. DRINKS WERE KIND OF WEAK.

They were easy to work with and if we had any problems or needed anything, they were there for us. As close to perfect as you can get!

Attended events at Andres South and very happy with the services. Decided to plan our June wedding at Andres off Telgraph and couldn't believe the convenience and all in one shopping. So excited for the day to arrive.

We loved the venue. We only wished that chair covers wouldn't have cost $900.

We had our daughters wedding reception at Andres last month and all our guests raved about the atmosphere and food. The staff from dealing with John all the way down to the bartender and bussers were excellent.

It's wonderful that though they do this as a job they are not burnt out and give each person upbeat and personal service!! Our reception was set up timely and they did great setting up our table cloths. We were able to get into the facility in enough time to set up the decor, cake etc. The food table was wonderful and we are still hearing from guests how great the food was! A cousin in law went to your Festus facility and sent me a text saying we're having Andre's food!! She was soo excited!

Here is a breakdown of what we loved and what we hope will help future brides...

What we loved:
*Personable service- Sarah Buford was amazingly helpful!! Patient through out our date changes(our church was booked for our original date and we moved our wedding back a couple of weeks due to the holiday weekend).
*The Facility
-LED Lighting- definitely a plus and made our pictures look great! We liked the changing colors! In my opinion it's not worth the extra charge to have single color lighting
-The Andre's standard décor was a great touch for our food table -Chandeliers and mirrors another plus
*The Food- memorable because it was delicious!!

Suggestions:
*The individual who was our MC from Andre's for the reception showed up in khaki pants and a button down blue striped untucked shirt. The contrast between his less then business casual attire and our formal attire was noted by our in-laws and some guests. They initially thought he was a wedding crasher until he begin introducing himself and we remembered that he works at Andre's. I might suggest that he speak with the bride and groom to get an idea of what the dress code is prior to the reception. Unfortunately he is in some of our pictures and our wedding video in this attire. It just reflects badly on Andre's in my opinion. I would have liked to have seen him in a tux or a the very least a black suit and tie.

We had our daughter's wedding reception at Andre's on Telegraph on 6/2 and I have to say their food was a hit. So many compliments from our guests. They offer a good number of vendor that you can work with to help coordinate you wedding planning Greg was wonderful to work with and was alway very professional.

Andre's did a great job for our on-site catered reception. The food received compliments from the guests and the variety and amount was very good for the price. They are on the more affordable end of pricing, so I feel we got what we paid for and more. I would recommend them for the price point!

We keep hearing from our guests about how wonderful our reception was. Andre's definitely surprised us with their delicious food and amazing service throughout the planning process. The only qualm I had was a fee to had their back-lit sconces remain on a single color instead of cycling through a rainbow of colored lights (this included plain old white). Kind of silly, if you ask me.

This really made the wedding awesome

I never heard so many great comments about how nice the place was and the food! Everyone loved the food! I am so glad I had the reception there after hearing all the positive comments! I also found it to be the best value for the cost. I would totally recommend Andres South County to anyone. They were also very professional which many it so easy not to worry about anything.

The Main guy who brought us in got our reception started 30 minutes late. It was cold and we were standing outside waiting to go in for what seemed like forever. But once we were inside, everything was great.

We had them cater rather than having our reception at their facilities. The food for the price was amazing. We got many comments on how good the food was. I do wish they had communicated more with us prior to the wedding but overall they were great. The servers at the event were absolutely fantastic! They were available and on top of everything but all unnoticeable through the event which was perfect.

We are getting married in August at Fox Run Carriage house. So far Tj has been so accommodating and a pleasure to work with. And we love that it a one stop shop. Such a breeze to plan with Andres!

Very satisfied. Treated us like royalty. Couldn't have asked for better. Only downfall was the main wall next to dance floor (the wall that is in ALL of the pictures from the reception) was not painted very well and had spots. Did not look nice. This review is for the Andre's South Banquet Facility not the west.

Fantastic value, food is amazing, also, OPEN BAR is INCLUDED!!! Seriously, this is the best value for your money!

We felt that we had all of our needs met even though at first they had our date muxed up but was quickly fixed and accomadated us nicely.

Andre's made wedding planning easy. They were basically a one stop wedding facility; giving me the option to use their recommended florist, bakery, tuxedo rentals, etc. I didn't use any of their options but it was nice to know they were available to help. The staff at Andre's was very professional and friendly and was wonderful at answering any questions I had throughout my planning.

I would not recommend having the ceremony there, as they are poorly equipped to handle this. At first, we were told one time we could arrive to set up for our ceremony/reception and then we were told an hour later and then we were told 10-15mins later from that time, giving us less than an hour to set up and get my dress on. Apparently the staff on hand the night of my rehearsal had never heard of a receiving line after a ceremony nor had they heard of the bride getting dressed at the venue of the ceremony and not at home. I was told all along I would have a bathroom to get my dress on in, it would be blocked off, only to find out the night of my rehearsal this was not true. The staff that night was argumentative and kept heated discussions going with my groom and his best man, things almost got ugly. We were put through a lot of unnecessary stress at the rehearsal. Do brides really not get dressed at the venue anymore? Either way, the coordinator told me I would be accommodated with use of the bathroom.

I was told we would have four reserved tables, Andre's never asked us to make a seating chart so we just told the guests we wanted at those tables which table they would sit at, when they arrived the staff told them they couldn't sit at their table so our important friends were pushed to a table further back and away from the head table. Meanwhile, that table remained empty during the ceremony and there is that empty table in my wedding pictures, how embarrassing. During my reception I had to get the right people moved to their table, how embarrassing. The food was good, the staff on hand the day of our big day was good, there was just that little hiccup with the empty table. My advice is to not book a ceremony/reception package with Andre's South. Luckily, we are blessed with amazing family and friends who help us pull all of this together.

The location and food were excellent. The service was just ok.

Andre's made the planning and the wedding reception night so easy and simple. Making deposits was easy and you didn't have to pay everything up front which was nice. I only had to decorate my tables with centerpieces, they had everything else already laid out for me and the room was just how I wanted it. I got many compliments on the food too. The only disappointment was that we paid for bottled beer for 250 people, 250 people didn't show up, but Andre's still ran out of bottled beer, which was highly disappointing. I would recommend Andre's but would definitely make sure they provide what you pay for.

Eveything was great with andres until the night of the reception. Prior to our reception we had set a schedule for the evening for dinner, cake cutting, toast, ect. Dinner was to be served approx 7:45, well we ended up eating withing 5 minutes of us arriving. Everything was rushed and pushed into the first hour of the reception. Found out why after speaking to some of our guest, the matre d had worked all day and actually told one of our tables that she was tired and wanted to leave asap. The bus boys started clearing tables when people were still eating their cake. The favors that were set out for guest were cleared off the tables prior to 11 (which is the time we paid for the reception to end). So now I am stuck with 150 votive candles that were meant to go to my guest. I spent alot of time of these candles so I was extremely disappointed that they were cleared off the tables before people left. Then I found out that people in the ballroom next to us were coming into our wedding and drinking from our open bar. The food was great though and they set up our tables exactly how I wanted them. Overall the value was good but the service at the reception not so much.

My wedding reception at Andres was a frustrating experience. I booked my event three months out and was directed to a different sales person each time.
They were hesitant to offer me a tasting. While the food at the tasting was good, the night of the event the chicken was extremely dried out.
I requested three times to meet with the coordinator that would be present the night of my event but was told by Greg that that wasn't necessary, they do so many of these event each year that they could do this in their sleep.
When going to the outside venders that they work with (such as the bakery for the cake "included" in my package) I was told that the sales men at Andres had given me inaccurate information or left out details so the deal wasn't as good as originally described.
Two weeks before my event I met with yet another sales man to give a final count and go over final details. They said that dinner would be served at 6 and I based my night's time line off of this.
The night of my reception, I realize it is after 6pm and dinner is not being served. I have to hunt down the "coordinator" I have never met with before and ask why dinner is not being served. She then explains that they have to pick up salad plates first, dinner was then not served until 7pm. This messed up my entertainment's schedule and they were unable to play for the times assigned for them and my guests became irritated. Later in the evening, while my guests are still present the coordinator came up and asked how my night was going. I was honest with her and explained that it had been frustrating but I was still trying to focus on my wedding reception and guests. She followed me and in a loud dramatic voice attempted to continue to discuss that she was oblivious to why it would be frustrating. She then went and bothered my husband and his friends telling him that the bride is angry and upset. After making a scene with them, she then went up to my entertainment and told them that I was angry and upset. The coordinator was very unprofessional.
When our event was over and we were collecting our things, a person from the kitchen staff talked with my husband and me. She explained that she was sorry that we had a frustrating evening and explained that the sales staff does not communicate with kitchen staff. I don't know what I could have done differently to help my wedding reception run smoothly as I asked several times to meet with staff that will work my event and was denied by Andres every time.

My sister had her wedding here and we had other people from another wedding walking through her wedding during her marriage and afterwards. There was another woman there wearing jamas coming through her wedding. We contacted the manager and owner all to get threatened and more. We have recording of how he spoke to my sister completely rude disrespectful. We will never recommend Andres south ever. The food was only out for an hour. I had a full cup of alcohol I had just gotten I had set it down on the table to go pee I came back and my drink got taken. When I asked my family told me the clean up crew took the cups are you kidding me it was a full cup and I had just gotten it. My plate of food got taken too when I went to help my sister I didnt even get to finish my food. By the time all the tables got food I went to get some and they took the food out of the room literially after the last table got food. Uncalled for and we had to share a bathroom with another party we had people coming to ours thinking its their wedding and grabbing a plate or walking around asking us is this the wedding we are suppose to come to. No workers asking which wedding is what nothing it was a horrible experience for the price our family paid for never again.

The set up at Andre's South is wonderful, but BEWARE. They do not tell you everything up front. My daughter's wedding reception was at this location August 2012 and we had multiple problems. The largest problem was during the reception. Several guests were standing in line waiting for appetizers and the staff took the food away. There was still plenty of food in the tray (that we paid for), which disappeared into the back, in front of the line of waiting guests. Second, if you turned your back on your plate or drink, the staff would take it. My food and drink disappeared MULTIPLE times. Third, they cleared ALL food away after just 1 hour. As the host, I hadn't eaten very much at first so that I could greet all of our guests and by the time I went to get food, it was gone. The cake was also plastic wrapped (not sure when), so several of us in the wedding party did not get a piece of it either. We had not been told the food only stayed out an hour. Fourth, they do not tell you that the food which you paid for is not yours unless you make arrangements when you sign the contract. ALL of that food disappeared into the back and they would not give it to us at the end of the night until we made a significant fuss. Fifth, the staff was unhelpful and belligerent when we were trying to ensure vegetarian choices for our guests. The did not even tell us that the green beans had bacon in them. We found out when in line to eat. Despite the poor service, we had a wonderful time; but if you are considering Andres on Telegraph, read VERY carefully and ask questions about EVERY detail. We felt like caring for the clients was definitely second to a pre-defined set of rules that had not been shared with us. There is a difference in being efficient and making your guests feel like you are rushing them out the door.

I can’t reveal too much as I will get the wrong people in trouble.

I was at a wedding reception at the South County location last weekend (5/20/17), and I had the opportunity to glimpse at some “behind the scenes” behavior.

I found their actions to be wholly inappropriate and thoroughly unprofessional. I found Mo to be more of an imposing bully rather than an accommodating host.

I see that this place has received a lot of positive feedback. Great. I don’t wish a bad wedding reception experience for anyone. However, based on what I saw, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I guess I should have looked them up in the BBB, better business burea, before booking, although they are not members and I can see why now. Although I can not accurately say YET that my guests became ill after eating at my wedding reception at the Andre's South location, I can say that enough of my guests became suspiciously ill after my wedding reception that I had to make a phone call to the health department. The cause of illness is still under review. Besides the food, the management of this location is severely lacking in interpersonal communication skills. Although, Greg and Sarah make up for John's apparent lack. I had my reception in August of 2012, and was treated as though I was a second class bride. I am still in communication with the establishment and will be petitioning for a full refund. They did not accurately plan well for three brides and things that were paid for were not received. Such as I paid to have china for cake service and paper plates were used. Greg was however at least attempting to rectify the situation and did offer a refund for that portion of my reception. Getting a personal call from the owner, John, was less than satisfying and in fact infuriated me more. He proceeded to tell me how many "service awards" he has won and defended himself rather than trying to make things right. I will be following up with the health department.

Andre's SUCKS! They STEAL!
We signed with them & made 2 large payments, then unfortunately our daughter called off her wedding - so we contacted Andre's immediately(still 6 mos before date) and were told we had to write an explanation letter to the "Executive Committee" to request the refund.
We did this & the "Committee" replied no refund unless they could re-book with same size group - I went to the bldg that nite personally & found both rooms completely full with receptions, so we assumed we would recieve a refund.
Wrong! Recieved a 2nd letter denying, they said there were not enough "guests"(of course they didn't worry about confirming the #, they already had our money!).

As far as I'm concerned, John Armengol is nothing but a THIEF - he took advantage of our unfortunate circumstances to keep all of our money, simply because we signed his agreement so he had the excuse to do it.

To hide behind an "Executive Committee" and mail out form-letter denials is the mark of a SCAM ARTIST, and a very good one - I can only imagine how many times Andre's has stolen from other hard-working families under similiar unfortunate circumstances.

Don't do business with Andre's or John Armengol or his people - THEY STEAL!!!!

BE SURE OF YOUR RECEPTION DECISION BEFORE SIGNING ANY CONTRACT WITH ANDRE'S!!
We had our daughter's wedding reception planned several years prior & signed a standard
agreement with Andre's - unfortunately several months later she broke up with her fiance and the wedding was off, something we never expected to happen. We had paid a portion when we signed & had already sent in another large payment, so we immediately contacted the Andre's rep to request a refund, and bear in mind at this point it was still a FULL 6 mos.
before the reception date. The "rep" gave us a mickey-mouse story about having to write a letter of explanation to the "Executive Committee" (whoever that is) to ask for a refund, and
said it would be "their" decision whether it was approved. The "rep" had given us the impression that there was a decent chance to recieve at least a good portion back. Well, we recieved a return letter from the "Committee"(no individual names shown) that simply said unless they could re-book the same room with the same min # of guests on that date, there would be no refund. When the date came I went to the hall myself & found both rooms in the building being used by 2 different receptions & quite full - but no way to tell for sure how many people were there, but it sure looked like there were more than what we planned! So naturally we expected the refund - WRONG! - we recieved another letter stating
they did not have enough "guests" on that date, so therefore NO REFUND.

As far as I'm concerned John Armengol is a thief - there was absolutely no reason to keep our money, they had obviously been able to easily re-book their space and had plenty of guests there on that date, they lost NO money nor had any costs associated with our cancellation.

For John Armengol to hide behind an "Executive Committee" and mail out form-letter denials is a total scam, I'm certain they have done this many times over the years to
many other families - WHAT A LOW-LIFE.
