Great custom design!

I am very pleased with my wedding invitation suite done by Anders Printing! Their graphic design artists are talented and easy to work with. We had a custom illustration of our wedding venue made for invitations and they turned out exactly how we wanted them, and at a great cost too! It was refreshing to be able to go into their brick-and-mortar store to see and feel the printed materials. They are a Portland institution in stationery and design; my parents used them 32 years ago for their wedding invitations, and we were thrilled to get to work with them as well!

Ander's Printing did such a wonderful job on our wedding invitation suite. I did a watercolor and my friend designed the actual suite. She then sent it over to Ander's and we went in to pick our papers and envelopes. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The printing was done in just a few business days and the quality was top notch. They also have some beautifully designed invitation suites that you can thumb through in their office. We definitely recommend them!

We used Anders for our Save the Dates, wedding invitations, and day-of-items (programs, table numbers, menus, and thank you gift tag). Meghan was wonderful to work with and provided great guidance with both design suggestions and invitation etiquette. She was knowledgeable, had a great design eye, communicated well, and was easy to work with from the beginning. Anders has plenty of invitation designs to start from and several with nice Portland touches (bridges, city skyline drawing. etc.) and we were able to get exactly the look we were going for. We also utilized the option to have the addresses printed on the envelopes and were so happy we went with that time-saving choice.

I've worked with Anders printing for years designing other birde's invites... so it was no surprise that I would use them for my own wedding. They are so knowledgeable about their craft and I felt incredibly taken care of. Their designer Meghan is a rock star and was able to help me with each piece of the printing process. They are a great small business who not only produces great work but really cares about each of their customers.

A friend used Anders for her wedding invitations the year prior to our wedding. I was so impressed with their designs and their "Seal & Send" style and I love supporting local businesses. Meghan was our contact person and she was great. Her response time was fast and she was very helpful, especially with the wording. We had a typo on the invitation (missed by Bride, Groom, and both sets of parents) and Meghan helped print correction postcards fast and at a discount! Highly recommend their skills and their product, we loved our invitations, even with the typo! Thanks Meghan!

Ander's Printing made our invitation and signage for our wedding. They were so helpful and never made me feel stupid asking so many questions. We did most of our conversations through email which made my life extremely helpful and less stressful. We worked with Meghan and she designed the most amazing invitations and matching signs for our big day. I cannot thank her enough for making such amazing wedding suite. We will be using them for any of our other needs.

Anders Printing did an amazing job on my short timeline! They were flexible with my needs and pricing, printed our own design, and were incredibly fast on getting them back to me! They were extremely pleasant and helpful to work with. I was so happy with the invitations that I went back to them for the Thank You notes. I picked one of their in-house designs--they have several unique ones that I enjoyed. Once again they were pleasant, professional, and full of good advice that I wouldn't have thought of myself. I worked with Meghan, but everybody in the shop was helpful and flexible. I really enjoyed working with them!

Anders helped us to create the most gorgeous, ethereal, whimsical invitations that you could imagine! Meghan truly took the time to sit down with us and listen to our needs before helping us design the perfect invitations for our big day. The money you will spend at Anders is well worth it - my mother and father used Anders over 31 years ago to create THEIR wedding invitations, and I think it is a true testament that all these years later, my husband and I used the same company with the same great results.

Meghan was a DREAM to work with - calm, collected and super helpful in combing our ideas into a beautiful save the date and invitation suite! From adjusting our design ever so slightly over and over to accommodate our requests, to helping us remember to weigh our invites before stamping them to make sure we were using the correct postage - she was exactly what we needed as middle ground/creative genius to help us actualize our dream invites! We received feedback on how classy and fabulous our invites were sooner than we even received the requested RSVP's.

I will return to Anders Printing for all of my future print needs!

Anders didn't design our invites – we just had them printed there (although I do know they have designers on staff). They did a great job, the price was reasonable, and the turnaround was quick.

I wrote out our invitation, then looked for places to get it printed. One option was out of state, but when I went to Anders, I found their letterpress prices were just as good. I saved money by digitally printing the smaller insert. The invites I made were put together with pieces from a few different places, but the letter pressed invitation was beautiful and really made the whole thing work.

I love Anders Printing!! If I ever need invitations for any type of event I am using them! They helped me custom design my save the date cards and matching invitations! They were so beautiful and classy and affordable! The girls were all east to work with and very quick to respond to requests and emails. They sent all the proofs via email for approval and then I was able to approve them in person before putting them into print! I had gone to a shop in the Pearl District that quoted me double for invitations that would have been ordered from a magazine! Anders is a great shop with a quality product! Very innovative!

From the start of planning my wedding I knew I wanted a custom wedding invitation suite. Ander's Priting was able to provide that for me from the invites, programs, seating cards, and thank you notes, they took care of all my needs and went above and beyond. The first time I walked into Ander's I had an intial consulatation with Rachael the lead Graphic designer. She and I clicked! She totally understood and got onboard with my vision. Rachael took my vision and made it so much more!! She took what I wanted and was able to make it a masterpiece. Anytime I had a questions or concerns she was so quick to respond and willing to make any changes I wanted! I came in during peak wedding season and everyone made me feel like I was top priority even though they were busy with many other clients. I had the best experience working with Rachael and everyone at Ander's. They were flexible meeting with me and my hectic schedule and were able to meet all my deadlines. When I went to pick-up all my final wedding products I was having a crazy day and everyone at Ander's made my day so calm. The had everything packaged so beautiful and had a few extra spares just in case :)

I would highly recommend Ander's for the friendliness and professionalism. You won't find a better place to go for their quality of work and price!

Anders Printing did a fantastic job with the invitations, RSVP cards and thank you notes.

They were very professional. Communication, via email, was very prompt.

Once we had approved the design, and had the addresses ready to go, the finished product was done in a snap!

Anders Printing was fabulous to work with, I had custom invitations done and they were so easy to work with. If I wanted something changed they had no problem doing it and getting me another proof. They kept making any changes I wanted until I was completely satisfied with the final product. I had so many complements on my invitations, people loved them. They made it so easy to work with them and if I ever have another event that needs invites, I know exactly where to go!

Go local, shop local! Perhaps it's just a myth that just because you go local doesn't mean there's an upcharge for this. Anders has options for all budget ranges and I was so ecstatic to have the opportunity to go with this amazing print shop for my invitations! Their prices are very competitive amongst other print/invitation shops and even online. Plus, they have some rich history (it's been around since the 1940s!). The staff were very kind and great to work with.

We dilly dallied on our invitations way too long. We had them designed and really rushed to get them printed on time. Anders saved us by getting it done on time. There was a delay with getting our foiling done in the shop, so they were kind enough to volunteer to stuff our envelopes and get stamps on our RSVP cards. Not having to do that and scramble to get them in the mail was so wonderful. Thank you for everything!!

We decided at the last moment to have Anders print our invitations after seeing their fantastic work online. We order the single-piece seal and send invites that are one long card that folds up and is sealed, with a perforated postcard that folks send back for RSVPs. We liked the reduced usage of paper and having them printed locally. But in addition to the great production value, these were totally affordable as well. Despite some miscommunications along the way they were very patient and responsive to our changes and concerns. Friends and family loved our unusual invites!

Ander's was recommended to me by another friend who used them for her wedding invitations. They were so patient and let me pore over their samples for what seemed like hours. They were wonderful to work with, as we wanted to have a particular bike graphic on our invitations. They were always kind and friendly, and we were pleased with the results (we did an economic tri-fold with a postcard RSVP -- simple and easy). We would recommend their services to anyone in need of invitations.

LOVED our seal and send invitations! The design was perfect and communication with this company was amazing!!!! We did have an issue with the seals for our invites...they were not sticking strong on the invites. We expressed our concern with Anders and they were great with working with us to fix the problem. Five star company!

I went to Anders printing for our invitations because my parents had used them for their wedding. They were great and easy to work with, offering tons of different styles and color combinations. I found the price to be a bit high, but I also didn't visit any other invitation vendors to really compare. However, we only ordered 100 one piece invitations without envelopes and it was still 350.00. That being said, we received so many compliments on how beautiful and creative the invitations were! In the end, I wouldn't have gone with anyone else regardless of the price. And the staff was sensational!

Great Printing but Design Was Lacking

Bella and the Anders Printing team were great to work with for our wedding invitations and day-of printed items!

I took off a star for two reasons, the first was there were many typos and design errors found on the drafts throughout the process. There were several instances where the text and names provided were misspelled or incorrect on the draft. Additionally, there were multiple times where the spacing/font sizes were uneven and inconsistent. I understand this is the point of a draft, but these are things I would hope the designer would catch. The second was the design itself - I think Anders’ biggest strengths are their printing ability and replicating an existing design, but if you are looking for a detailed or uniquely designed product, I would consider another design vendor.

Other than that, their printing quality, customer service, and final products were excellent! Everything looked beautiful and the turn around time and prices were very impressive.

We love out invitations and Meghan was wonderful to work with as a designer. She is professional, knowledgable and very helpful. I would recommend Anders for anybody's wedding invites that has a budget over 500 dollars.

Anders printing did a fabulous job with our invitations and our ceremony programs. They were very easy to work with and always made time whenever we came by for discussions. They were very flexible in taking our ideas and making them a reality. They were able to do a lot of correspondence via email and pdf markups which made coordinating much simpler. They did mock-ups of everything for us, so we were able to really see what the final product would look like. We got so many compliments on the quality of our invitations. We couldn't have been happier with Anders printing and made the right decision in using them for our wedding day.

Invitations were great. Vendor gave us etiquette suggestions when we asked for them. They sent us several versions of proofs when we found misspellings or didn't like the font. Quick return.

We used Anders Printing for our Save the Dates. We are getting married at Timberline Lodge and they had the perfect vintage postcard. My first interaction with Anders Printing was via their website, to which I received no response. Again, a few weeks later I tried to contact them via their website and again no response. I tried to contact them through Wedding Wire and still no response. I could have picked up the phone sooner, but I wanted a few questions answered in passing. Anders Printing, as far as my interaction went, is old school in terms of interaction and technology. Use the Phone!!!

Finally, because I really wanted that Save the Date, regardless of their initial unresponsiveness and since I still had some leeway with my time table, I called them on the phone. This form of communication went much better and I was able to readily schedule an appointment with them, to which everything else went smoothly. I mean, their office had a dog and a cat (named copycat). So, if you’re an animal person its pretty cool and welcoming.

The only thing that I would say they need to improve upon in terms of customer interaction, other than deciding to use using technology to communicate or not (but please don’t put up the façade that you do technology when you don’t, its aggravating to us young people and introverts who want to minimize personal interaction) is being assertive regarding scheduling and the person you are interacting with. You can still be flexible, while doing this, but the blasé attitude is frustrating for people who like definitive answers. Also, I would have liked copies of the work order forms filled out while at the shop upon leaving, versus a small receipt.

Regardless, the product we received from Anders Printing was flawless and we love it. One recommendation on the Save the Dates Post Cards is to provide a space for a return label.

I would do it all again the same way! Double Thumbs Up!

Anders printing helped us create very elegant and beautiful invitations, thank you notes and table numbers. Although I mostly came up with the overall design, their graphic designer completed the look of it. I was disappointed when the owner Jill gave me a last minute added cost that was not agreed before the job was completed- this is an unprofessional act. The cost for value was somewhat overpriced since we assembled the invitations and provided them with most of the materials for printing. However, the quality of their work is very good and I would still recommend the use of their services. Advise: it is more cost effective if you have all the stationary done in the same place and have them provide the materials- keep it simple but elegant.

I shopped around a bit for the perfect invitations; I vowed long ago that when it came to my special day, this would be the one detail I would pay special attention to. I've seen DIY invites and I've received invites where it's obvious the couple didn't spend much time/thought/money on the quality or design. A wedding invitation is the first impression guests receive about a wedding. That said, my fiancé and I visited two local Portland invitation "houses" - including Anders Printing. Anders Printing was the vendor we went with. From the wide array of design and color options to the quality of the invitations (never mind the exceptional service!), Anders Printing offered a truly one-of-a-kind experience for my fiancé and me. Since mailing out our invites, we have received compliment after compliment on them...thus validating my stance on the importance of paying attention to wedding invitations!

Anders creates beautiful stationary. Their designs are modern, elegant and versatile. We found them at the Portland Bridal Expo and were pleased with the way our invitation suites turned out. The only compliant that we have is that there were two small errors we noticed once our invitations were printed: July 5th was printed as July 5st and our zip code on the return address was incorrect. Over all we were pleased with the services rendered.

Not so great. It was a frustrating experience. I would tell them what I wanted after seeing a proof, they would do one or two of the things I wanted, and leave out the rest, necessitating a flurry of totally unnecessary correspondence. Professionalism was definitely lacking. Would NOT recommend.

We used Anders custom design services but unfortunately were not happy with what we thought was a draft but after suggesting changes they told us they couldn't make any changes without incurring quite a bit more charges. So I ended up designing the invitations myself and sending them a pdf to use. We had discussed using an upgraded paper which they insured us wouldn't be a problem but a few weeks later when we went to pick up our invitations they said the printer was having problems printing on the paper we chose (which they had suggested in the first place). I wish they had told us that before we drove down there. We did eventually get our invitations a week later. And they gave us a very large discount for our troubles but it was a lot of unnecessary stress and work on our part. Nice people but ultimately not a good experience.

We used Anders Printing for our wedding invitations. At first we had a lovely experience, we met with the owner who was very helpful and friendly. We pick out our invitations and decided to have the names and addresses printed on the envelops. Unfortunately, that is were our frustration began. We sent in the data spreadsheet with all of the information and correct formatting and received a proof from them. The proof had errors that weren't in the data spreadsheet so we e-mailed them back with corrections. In total it took them over 8 revisions to get it right, multiple e-mails, multiple phone calls, to get them to put together a proof that matched our spreadsheet. The proofs they sent us were inconsistent, and had misspellings throughout. Our experience with Anders Printing was frustrating to say the least. We spent about $600 on our invitations and they were going to charge us an extra fee for the mistakes that they made. Although, our invitations did turn out beautiful in the end, I wouldn't recommend Anders Printing.
