We had a great experience with Beth and her team of professionals when we hired a string quartet for our wedding cocktail hour & subsequent ceremony - their range was incredible & their performance was just exquisite. I can't recommend them enough!

Great addition to our wedding

Beth and her musicians added the perfect touch to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. She made choosing the music fun and had great suggestions and ideas for different parts! Our wedding was in Hampton, VA and the string trio we had sounded sooo good. They were on time, professional and were loved by my family and guests. Thanks again for everything Beth!

Phenomenal! 10.10.2020

Planning a wedding during the heart of the pandemic was pretty stressful. To add to the complexity, we live in the DC area and were planning our wedding in VA Beach. Our wedding coordinator from the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club, referred us to And I Lover Her Violins for a Cellist. We weren’t sure what to expect with coordinating virtually, but Beth made it so easy. She carved out some time to walk us through classic wedding music and actually play it for us virtually, so we could get a feel for the music we would walk down the aisle to. This was so helpful and really made a huge difference for us in hearing the music. Beth also knew her musicians and the type of music they enjoy playing, she recommended the perfect musician for our venue. Beth was phenomenal. We highly recommend her and her musicians for any memorable events.

The Best Ceremony/Cocktail Hour Music

I have know Beth Argiro for years as she was my high school orchestra teacher. So as you can imagine I was not going to go with another company for our wedding day ceremony music! She was very accommodating and flexible for our song selection as every song selected for the ceremony had a special meaning to us! Her team was professional and did a fabulous job for our ceremony and cocktail hour entertainment! Our guest raved about them all night and til this day months later! You will not go wrong with And I love her Violins!

Kind and talented

Beth and her husband were both so kind and professional. We contacted them and luckily they were available for our wedding date. They were highly reccomended to us by our venue and now I know why. We communicated via email and Beth guided me every step of they way picking the songs for cocktail hour and ceremony. They were very accommodating in playing a song I requested off their list and it was just beautiful. Their talent absolutely added a an elegant touch to our day and we couldn't be happier!

Beautiful wedding ceremony

We had guitar and violin. Musical selection is extensive and we chose modern music for my daughters wedding ceremony. It was beautifully done! We chose 6 songs and it was so much more intimate than the standard organ music of a church. Highly recommend And I Love Her Violins!

Just Beautiful!

Choosing to add a live musician to our ceremony was a last minute decision that we were not sure we wanted to spend money on, because it seemed unnecessary! Boy am I glad that we chose to hire Beth! I worked with Beth leading up to the wedding to plan the music for the ceremony and the duration of dinner. o We worked with Beth for planning out the music for our wedding and Anastasia was the musician who played the wedding. They both did wonderfully! We just had a single violinist and it added such a beautiful, classy, and elegant touch to the ceremony and cocktail hour. So reasonably priced for the music quality. They have a pretty extensive music list and there were so many great songs that we had a hard time narrowing down. Added bonus- we had an outdoor ceremony and it was a bit windy. We were thinking we might have to take down our arch for safety reasons even though we really didn’t want to. Anastasia, who had arrived promptly an hour before the ceremony began, came up with a way to keep the arch secured. This made us so happy and was above and beyond for her to do! Received many compliments on the music and it fit well with our wedding vision. I would definitely recommend And I Love Her Violins- so much value for such an affordable cost and absolutely pleasant to work with!

Beth and her accompanist did a fantastic job for our daughter's wedding in June 2017. They were very professional, the music was an excellent quality and they blended into the celebration extremely well. I would definitely recommend them.

From the first email with Beth I knew I made a great choice selecting her to play for our wedding. She was very responsive and helpful along the way. We had violin/guitar combo for ceremony and cocktail hour and the music was beautiful! We had so much fun picking songs for the ceremony and they learned 2 songs for us. We got a lot of compliments about how terrific the music was and everyone enjoyed it! Look no further - this vendor is a GREAT choice!

We had our minds up that we were not going to have any live music during our ceremony until we stumbled upon And I love her Violins at a wedding expo! I'm not 100% sure of what my expectations would be but nevertheless Ms. Beth was absolutely phenomenal. The gifts and talents of this Violinist was nothing less than a stellar performance. Beth was wonderful! I had always known I wanted string instruments for my wedding, especially violins and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to perform for our ceremony. Beth was so helpful when it came to choosing the perfect songs for it all and even took the time one day to play snippets for me over the phone to assist helping me decide which ones I truly wanted. We had originally planned for a stringed trio, but I decided last minute I wanted a quartet if possible and Beth stepped right up and made it happen. We couldn't thank them enough for their talents because it was truly beautiful and perfect! I couldn't imagine it being more perfect. I will certainly recommend them to anyone who is looking for that nice musical touch for any of their events!

Beth was extremely helpful and a joy to work with! Beth is the absolute BEST! My husband found her on another website and hired her to play during his proposal. Well, ever since then, we've had her be a part of EVERYTHING we could! We had to have a smaller ceremony with just immediate family 6 months prior to our "big day" and she played at that, as well as at our "big day" with her guitarist during the ceremony and cocktail hour. I adore her music and her spirit! I am obsessed with all things Disney and gave her a long list of Disney songs to play (worried that she would say no) without hesitation she agreed and played everything on my list! It was PERFECT! I am so impressed with everything that came from this company. I loved that their website had example songs on it so I could figure out what sound I wanted. So glad we had them! I always thought having a string band would be a beautiful and timeless touch, but assumed it would be way too expensive. I like that they have different options-- we went with a violinist and chello player for just the ceremony, which was surprisingly very affordable. They have a good song selection and Beth was helpful in picking out songs. They made our wedding feel elegant and romantic and I highly recommend them!

Beth is amazing! The music sounded awesome for our ceremony. We went with the string trio and it really took our ceremony to the next level. We decided to go with contemporary music to better fit our personalities and we received so many compliments on our music. This may have been the most fun out of the wedding planning process, picking the music. Beth came to my mom's tea shop so we could meet and then played a variety of songs for us to pick from. It was incredible.

Throughout the whole process from choosing songs to arranging their order, Beth was incredibly helpful and always there to answer my questions. We requested a couple of pieces that were not on her list, and she was quick to learn the songs and make our day so special and personal. I could not believe how amazing the songs sounded- the violin and guitar duo was absolutely breathtaking! They even turned the Star Wars theme into an elegant piece, allowing it to seamlessly flow with our ceremony. Mrs. Argiro was extremely helpful in assisting me in the selection of music for my daughter's wedding. She sent me selections ahead of time to review, and then, at her house for the final selection, she actually played some of the choices. For someone who is not knowledgeable about music, this was very helpful.
She was professionally dressed at the venue, and came with her own amplifiers. She was terrific, in short!

My parent eloped 40 years ago so for their 40th wedding anniversary, my sisters and I threw them the wedding they never had. We wanted to make the event special so I search for someone to play music for the ceremony. Based on a recommendation from a friend who is a wedding planner, I found Beth. After talking to her, I knew that she was a perfect fit.
I decided to hire her in conjunction with a classical guitarist (Kim Kalman). They were to play for both the ceremony and the cocktail hour (I used the DJ for dinner and afterwards). On my first meeting with Beth, she mentioned that Kim, the guitarist, is also a vocalist who has recorded several CDs. Kim offered to sing for us during the ceremony at no extra cost. So we chose a few hymns as special music during parts of the ceremony and Kim sang while Beth played the violin. They were both amazing! In addition, the violin & guitar duo is unique and stunning. Beth helped us plan the ceremony, gave great recommendations and was very patient during our indecisiveness.
I just cant say enough good things about Beth and Kim and I would, without hesitation, use them again for any event I planned.

Working with Beth was such a great experience. Her extensive knowledge base of music coupled with her love of learning new things makes her so easy to work with. We were lucky enough to have Beth play at our October wedding in the Outer Banks, and we can't say enough good things about her.

The most important thing, of course, is the music, and it sounded terrific. We wanted a violin and cello pairing for our wedding ceremony and the cocktail hour afterwards, and Beth (and John) made it all work beautifully. She has years of experience playing at outdoor ceremonies, so she knew just how to amplify the instruments so that they sounded perfect.

Beth was also great to work with during the planning process. We had a few ideas about certain pieces of music that we wanted, but we really weren't sure about other things, and she was great about offering up suggestions and playing a variety of choices for us, to help us make the decisions easily and find the perfect songs. We wanted a mixture of classical pieces and modern songs, and she was flexible enough to handle whatever we asked for. Beth is easy to talk to, super nice, and an impressive musician!

Beth was incredible!! Everyone loved her music and sent so many compliments. She truly was great and even played music we brought to her. I got to hear her just before we were announced (she did the cocktail hour) and it was phenomenal. Thank you so much Beth for making our day so beautiful

We could not have been more pleased with Beth's performance at my son's wedding. She was so accommodating and helpful in selecting the music for the ceremony. Playing a violin on the beach with the sounds of the sea and some challenging wind did not seem to phase Beth at all. We are so happy to have found her for this special day.

Beth & Chris were amazing - I didn't give them much time to learn the music for my vow renewal, and they were prompt, and patient when we didn't start on time. They did an amazing job playing Bright Eyes' "First Day of My Life", and Edward Sharpe's "Home", and they even learned a few other songs for the ceremony in case we needed them. They were nothing short of stellar to work with. Thank you again!

I used this company for my beach wedding on Spet 28, 2013. Beth met with my fiance and me and made it extremely easy for us to pick out our music selection. She was always available for questions and made the process effortless... and thats important when planning a wedding.
When the day of the wedding came, they were punctual, well dressed and played beautifully. The most impressive part was that they didnt let the 25-30 mph wind gust deter the awesome music played for the guests. They were first ones out on the beach and the last to leave creating the most perfect atmopshere for the ceremony.
I couldnt have asked for a better experience.
