I am writing this review wayyyy too late (a little over 2 years after my wedding) and it has been eating me away inside because I need to give Mason(aka Anchor Pictures) all the praise they deserve. As a wedding planner myself, I had worked with Mason and Savannah previously and found them to be so sweet and easy to work with as well as extremely professional.
I knew that when I got married they would be at the top of my list for videography and I was so glad they were available! My husband still talks about how absolutely sweet and helpful Mason was on the day of our wedding, assisting him in getting his bow tie on when no one else knew how. He worked perfectly with our photographer team and even when we ran slightly behind schedule due to hair and makeup, he was on it with getting all the shots needed quickly so we could get back on track.
The videos themselves I could watch on repeat constantly, every day, for the rest of my life. I still cry watching the full video and cannot stop smiling when I watch the teaser and full 8 minute cut. The drone shots, the details, all cut together seamlessly with our music and clips of the ceremony and speeches. Mason’s work is beautiful, the camerawork and shots are breathtaking and made my humble backyard wedding look like a high budget royal wedding video. I love it sooooo much and am forever grateful that we will one day be able to watch this video with our children as well as show other family members who were not able to make it that day. Thank you SO much Anchor Pictures, I cannot recommend them enough!

Would recommend over and over

If you’re on the fence about photo and video for your next event, commit to Mason and Savannah. We had their photo and video package for our wedding (there is a discount for booking both, too!) and we could not be happier with our choice. We checked out their photo and video galleries on their website, and then got in touch with Mason. After speaking with him, we knew we were in good hands. Anchor Pictures provides a comprehensive list of footage and photos at a very reasonable price. Mason was responsive and patient as we asked questions, and made the booking process quick and easy.

As we got closer to the wedding, Mason was always willing to take a phone call so we could ask additional questions, help us work out our wedding day timeline, and suggest a shot list for us to work off of. We also sent him a few “inspo pics” to take the day of the wedding which he assured us we would get similar shots of. He also sent a final questionnaire asking thoughtful questions. From that last phone call we knew that things would run incredibly smoothly during our wedding day when it came to photo and video.

On our wedding day, Mason, Savannah, and their team were phenomenal. They kept the both of us calm throughout the chaos, problem solved when it came to weather or minor issues (for example, the top of our chuppah started to fall during our ceremony and Mason swooped in with a binder clip to reinforce it), and most importantly, it never felt like cameras were constantly in our faces. They were capturing our day as it was occurring rather than creating hundreds of posed photos, and we had fun doing it too. Every shot from the shot list we had sent him was done efficiently, too (all of them between the first look and the ceremony). Also, all the “inspo pics” I had sent to Mason the week before, he made sure to get the same photo of which was also great. They truly made the day run smoothly and captured everything.

Another point is that we were running a bit behind schedule towards the end of the night, and although we had them contracted for 8 hours, Mason and Savannah offered to stay longer to make sure we got all the footage we wanted which was so appreciated.

We got our sneak peek photos less than two weeks after the wedding had happened, which was around 200 photos. This was such a pleasant surprise. The photos are so beautiful and we are so excited to get video back and the rest of the photos in a few weeks!
In other words, Anchor Pictures are true professionals and know how to make your wedding day or any event perfect and I recommend them to anyone!

Perfection!

We cannot say enough about what a joy it was to work with Mason and Savannah. From day one they were open and responsive to our requests. As people who are not big photo-takers they were great at putting us at ease and making the process feel natural (to that end, definitely recommend doing an engagement shoot with them prior to the wedding). We had multiple guests come up to us in the days following our wedding to specifically comment on how professional and warm they found Anchor Pictures to be (with numerous people noting how impressed they were that Mason and Savannah immediately remembered everyone's name). They helped the day run smoothly, without ever feeling pushy and captured all the important moments without making them feel altered for the sake of photos alone. They were prompt communicators, very thorough, and we are thrilled with how the photographs turned out. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Hire them now

Mason and Savannah are the best in the game!!! From the second we spoke to them on the phone to the engagement shoot then the wedding we knew we made the right decision. Photo and Video are our two most important vendors so we were very picky when making that decision and if we had to make that decision again we would pick them all over. Everyone still talks about how beautiful our engagement and wedding photos are. They are professional, VERY SWEET, and extremely talented. They made us feel so comfortable the day of the wedding and were accommodating when the timeline changed. 3 of our friends hired them after seeing their work :)

Uniquely beautiful videography, framing, and attention to detail

As the designated photographer for my friends, family, and colleagues, to say I have high expectations for photos and videos is an understatement. Yet, Mason and Savannah far surpassed my expectations. They were extremely easy to work with and accommodating when I added extra hours and rehearsal dinner coverage at the last minute.

Their coordination with each other while the bridesmaids and groomsmen got ready apart was very impressive. They kept us more informed than the bridal party was otherwise keeping each other informed of next steps. They paid attention to every detail to get the best shots of everything from bridal details and the wedding program to moving my hair or straightening my ring in photos. We feel lucky to be able to relive our wedding day through their lenses.

My only regret is not hiring them for photography AND videography. They only did videography for our wedding and I loved their shots so much, I asked for stills of the videos. The way they staged us, framed us, and captured unique moments is truly unrivaled.

You should absolutely hire them!

Mason and Savannah are the BEST!!!

As we planned our wedding, we were really on the fence about hiring a videographer, mostly due to budget and cost. A few family members and friends suggested that we invest in a videographer because it is something tangible that we could cherish throughout our lives and our marriage. We are so happy with our decision, and it would also be my biggest piece of advice to any other bride and groom!

When we saw Anchor Pictures' work, we knew they were it. We love that they are a married couple, and their love is palpable. They know what to look for to capture love. They captured not only the love of our day but the guests and little details through their cinematography that we as the bride and groom may have missed in the whirl and swirl of everything. We are so happy with the results and we will truly cherish this memory for the rest of our lives!

Made me feel like Carrie Bradshaw in DTLA

Anchor Picture turned my wedding into a work of art! Exceeded all expectations and I will recommend them to the moon and back! I hosted a wedding in downtown Los Angeles, had a vision as Anchor Pictures read my mind! The whole team was so kind, friendly, chill, professional and very personable -- in the beginning its a nerve wracking day, and yet they kept their cool, felt no pressure, and they offered great direction and detail for all the shots. Absolutely magical duo.

Anchor Pictures totally blew us away. Not only did Mason and Savannah bring such fun and fantastic energy to our wedding, they’re INCREDIBLE videographers. (I’m just gonna go ahead and call them wizards.) Their highlight reel went above and beyond any expectation I had and brings a tsunami of *feels* any time I watch.

I will watch my wedding video everyday until I die

We had a small pop-up wedding, and Anchor Pictures was included in our package as the videographer. Mason and Savannah did not disappoint! Not only were they extremely kind and a pleasure to work with, but our video is TO. DIE. FOR.

Amazing Husband and Wife Team

Mason and Savannah are amazing! From start to finish, they were extremely responsive, thoughtful, and professional. Their packages are very well priced and we could not be happier with the finished product. We went with the photography and videography package, which we are so grateful we chose to do. The video was a perfect reflection of the photos and vice versa. The day of, they had two additional teams members (one photographer and one videographer who were also so sweet) and they all worked flawlessly together, minding each others shots. Mason and Savannah were so easy to work with and they make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Beautiful husband-wife partnership

Mason and Savannah are one of the kindest couples we know. It was beautiful to witness this husband and wife photography team work together so seamlessly. They truly love working with couples, and having been married for many years, they have a unique understanding of marriage and bring that perspective into their work. I also really appreciated the balance of masculine and feminine energy. Mason and Savannah's personalities balance each other's out, and it really came through in their working styles. During our bride and groom portraits, Mason was shooting while Savannah was helping to direct and adjust small details with my dress, bouquet, etc. It was such a treat to observe their partnership. I really appreciated that she paid attention to those little details.

I think my favorite part about working with Anchor Pictures was how unobtrusive Mason was when shooting our wedding. Aside from our posed photos, I barely even noticed him throughout the day, resulting in the documentary style look we were hoping to achieve. Being a bride can be very stressful, and the last thing you want is a photographer that makes you feel self conscious or contributes to your stress in any way.

Made our dreams come true...

We hired Anchor Pictures to come with us to Hawaii to photography our wedding, as well as a photoshoot on the beach the day after the wedding.

When I tell you that they are absolutely perfect, I'm not exaggerating. From the meeting we had with them a month before, where they laid everything out, and even helped me plan my day-of activities to best accommodate all the shots that we wanted and needed... To hiking down with us through VERY tough terrain to get breathtaking shots in Pololu Valley. They were so game and positive, and the shots they got literally took our breath away.

They were super fast getting us some initial shots to share with friends... I think we were still on our honeymoon... Maybe? Haha! But what I truly love about them is their incredible eye and cheeky sense of humor. They get such a variety of shots, from candids, to posed, to traditional, to edgy, to romantic, to hilarious, to artsy.... Just anything you could ever want. They make every moment look epic.

And to top it off they are the sweetest couple! Their beautiful, kind, and patient energies brought a lot of calm to a fast and furious day. They are the chillest people, and we loved having a happily married couple bless our day with their good juju. ;)

We have now been married for almost 2 years, and we still pull out our wedding album every month to stare at and swoon over. We had the perfect wedding, and Anchor Pictures captured every second and then some.

We loved Savannah and Mason!

Mason and Savannah were our videographers for our wedding, and they were amazing! Of the many vendors we worked with for our wedding, they were the easiest to work with and provided the best service. We met with them in person once a few months before the wedding day to go over the logistics and discuss our vision for our video. They had already worked at our venue before so they knew more about the specifics there then we did. Aside from them just being super sweet people, they were very professional and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. We found that the questions they asked us during our in-person meeting were useful for us to start pinning down the details of our schedule for the wedding day.

During our wedding day they were inobtrusive but always in the right position to capture the best moments. They let our photographer take the lead for choosing spots to shoot and only occasionally asked for specific poses, etc. Along with our photographer, they were honestly a calming presence during an obviously hectic day.

Our finished product was better than we had hoped for. The aesthetic for the highlights video was exactly what we wanted and we especially enjoyed their thoughtful use of the music we had suggested-- we weren't sure if it would fit with the tone of the video but they made it work beautifully. Other than that, they got every important moment including every speech and the entire ceremony, and a lot of dancing scenes.

All in all, we couldn't recommend Anchor pictures enough and if they're still working when our future kids get married we'll fly them to wherever in the world the wedding will be.

Mason & Savannah's work is stunning!

These two absolutely exceeded our expectations! My husband is not very comfortable in front of a camera so we talked about this with Mason & Savannah, and they ensured us that they would make it easy for us, and they certainly did! Both of them have such a calm and relaxed vibe as they work and they gave us posing suggestions in a way that didn't feel forced and we are so happy with the teaser photos we have seen so far. 10 Year Vow Renewal

As a creative producer I’ve worked with Anchor Pictures across an array of projects. It is always a pleasure working with Mason & Savannah. So when it came to be my turn as a “bride”, as my husband and I were renewing our vows for our 10 year anniversary, we knew we wanted Anchor there to capture our story. It turned out that rain was in the forecast for our mountain location, ahh! But Mason was still completely positive regardless. He just rolled with the weather. The falling mist actually made for an absolutely magical setting and a deeper closeness between our guests, AND we have incredible memories to look back on through the STUNNING photography Mason delivered from that transformative day!

Best photographers ever

Mason & Savannah were awesome! They were very professional and easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable taking our wedding photos when it is very easy to feel awkward posing. That wasn’t the case at all! They captured our special day perfectly and didn’t even mind our rowdy bridal party. In fact, they thought we were fun. They also gave great direction on posing as well. Communicating with them went smoothly and I never had to worry about anything! Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for photographers! Super happy with our wedding photos.

We used Anchor Pictures as our wedding videographers. We can't say enough great things about Mason and Savannah! They were responsive and always available to answer our questions leading up to the wedding day. During most of the wedding day, we didn't even notice they were there filming us (which is a good thing). They are discrete, but were able to capture amazing and natural shots. This review is long over due, because well life. My husband and I got married January 2017, however I was SO impressed with Mason and Savannah I had to make sure I left them a review even though it's a year and a half later. Having a videographer was one of the most important things to me for our wedding. Anchor Pictures did not disappoint. From the first meeting they were both so friendly and really listened to what my husband and I wanted. On the day of the wedding they were right on time and professional. I loved how they managed to get every little detail and big moment, but weren't right in our faces. When we received our highlight film I fell in love. I couldn't have asked for a better video. We also received a full version film separated into chapters of the main events of the day. I can't recommend Anchor Pictures highly enough. You will not be disappointed if you go with them for your wedding.

We hired Anchor Pictures to do the videography for our wedding here in Los Angeles this past fall. We are SO HAPPY we did!! Mason was a true professional and such a talented artist. He did a phenomenal job capturing not only the 'big' moments of our wedding day, but also the small moments that are equally important.

Our package came with a highlight film that was perfect for sharing with family and friends who could join us on the day, as well as an extended film with more extensive footage. Mason worked with us beforehand to understand what events and moments of the day were important to us, and he captured them all beautifully. We are so happy we hired him, since we will no doubt be watching both videos for many years to come.

When my husband and I looked for a videographer for our wedding, I saw the information on Anchor Pictures. When we contacted them, they responded immediately. Mason & Savannah are wonderful photographers & videographers!! We did an excellent job of our wedding reception. They came in advance and prepared professionally. Also, they are super nice and friendly. We believe that our decision to ask them to film was totally right. After completing their work, my family, my husband and I watched the film. We are very very very satisfied with their work. We asked them to take specific moments during our wedding reception. Mason and Savannah covered everything. We absolutely loved working with Mason and Savannah! They were one of the first vendors we hired and while we were waiting for our big day to approach Mason was incredibly responsive via email. We met with Mason a few weeks before our wedding. He made sure to answer all of our questions and assured us that the day would run smoothly.

Our wedding day was a whirlwind of emotions. We met Mason and Savannah in the afternoon to say hello and they got to work. It is always uncomfortable being filmed or photographed for us, but Mason and Savannah have a calming effect that allowed us to feel natural. The best part of working with them is the final product. We are obsessed with our wedding video! They did an amazing job capturing our wedding and we can't wait for our first anniversary to watch our video and experience it all over again. We are so thrilled with our decision to go with Mason and his company Anchor Pictures for our wedding videographer. Our wedding budget was maxed out by the time it came to potentially booking a wedding videographer, so we really debated if it was necessary. I’m so happy that we decided to go for it. Not only did they do an amazing job on the highlight video and footage of the wedding, but Mason was so lovely to work with. And after doing a lot of research in the LA area- their pricing was very reasonable. From the very first email inquiry to receiving the review video, every correspondence was prompt and professional. On the day of the wedding, Mason had a big smile on his face and was personable with everyone in the room. A lot of my wedding party and guests didn’t even realize that we hired a videographer because he was so subtle and not in everyone’s faces the whole time. He somehow managed to capture it all - everything from small details like decorations, the special picture I had of my late dad on my bridal bouquet, the cake, to bigger events like the actual ceremony, speeches and dancing. He also did such a great job with the coverage and blending the music we picked. We didn’t need to make any edits!!! I highly recommend Mason and Anchor Pictures to be your wedding day videographers if you’re in the LA area. You won’t regret it!!!!!

We used Anchor Pictures for our Wedding Reception in August of 2017 and was thrilled with the service and quality of our Video. Mason was delightful to work with and our video was beautiful. I still tear up every time I watch the highlight video (which he edited for us to include a few more of our special friends). MASON AND SAVANNAH ARE THE PERFECT TEAM! My wife and I got married this September at an outdoor venue in Temecula and we got so lucky that we hired Anchored Pictures as our videography team.

From the first sales consultation to the final video drop off, they were a joy to work with. This couple is so fun and playful yet they always keep your day, story and love at the center of their attention. Any questions that we had, they got back to us so quickly and really put our minds at ease. I'm sure you will immediately be impressed with their personable, sweet approach while walking you through all the steps and questions that you didn't even know to think of!

Day of: they were professional, well-dressed, punctual and on top of all of that we really felt like we had two cheerleaders rooting for us behind the camera. Just good energy all around! They were very attentive and seemed to have caught every moment. Giving you positive feedback and loving care. SO wonderful!

Weeks later: when Mason shared the link to the highlight video, my wife and I admitted to each other that we were quite nervous to watch it because it was the last chapter on our Wedding day! All the amazing memories were solidified in video form. We are SO glad we picked Anchored Pictures because the film was perfect. They did a PERFECT job. No notes. Couldn't imagine anyone doing better. My wife and I watched the video multiple times back-to-back, holding each other and crying because Mason and Savannah did a remarkable job encapsulating our indescribable day so we can remember it for the rest of time!

We absolutely adore Anchor Pictures! They were part of the preferred vendor list of a few venues we visited and after viewing their videos online, we knew they were the ones to shoot our wedding day. Mason was incredibly responsive to emails during the initial days of making contact and helped us to figure out the right package. Almost a year went by before getting in touch again to finalize our questionnaire and the day-of details before we finally met Mason and Savannah on our wedding day. They are the most lovely couple. They blended in so perfectly with our other vendors and our family. You get quite intimate with your photographers and videographers on your wedding day and we felt instantly comfortable with Mason and Savannah and had a blast with them during the afternoon and evening. Our highlight video was sent to us right on time (about 7 weeks post-wedding) and is simply beautiful. We had one small edit request and they made the change within 24 hours. The video encompasses the day so well and everyone who has seen it thus far raves about it. Both Mason and Savannah are warm, charming, detail-oriented and extremely talented. I cannot recommend Anchor Pictures enough.

We weren't going to get a videographer at first, but we knew we wouldn't regret it so after an exhaustive search to find the best quality for our budget we were so lucky to find Anchor Pictures. If we could give 10 stars to Anchor Pictures we would! After a long search of finding the perfect videographer to capture all the special moments of our day, we found it and they were even more than anything we could have asked for. Absolutely perfect! We looked up past videos they had done and were sold! They were so easy to get in contact with and so easy to communicate throughout our entire process. The package we chose included so much and it was everything we were looking for. We felt so comfortable and confident in their work. They were both so great the day of our wedding and were with us the entire day capturing it all! When they sent us our highlight film, we were absolutely blown away! I would highly recommend Anchor Pictures if you are look for quality within your budget. Mason and Savannah were professional from start to finish. Not to mention, they have the sweetest personalities! During my wedding ceremony, I honestly didn't even notice them there. That was important to me because I have been to weddings where photographers obstructed views and interrupted the flow of the wedding. After receiving my photos my husband and I were very pleased. It sounds strange to say, but Mason worked so well blending into the background that I barely knew he was there at times! He made sure that he got all the angles and shots he needed while keeping my husband and I at ease on our wedding day. Even my photographer was impressed with his original ideas and the shots he was able to capture. The finished product was a perfect balance of ceremony and reception. When both my parents and my husband's parents have no critiques about the video, you know it must be good! I'm very grateful that Mason was able to capture our special day. I was frantic putting together my daughter's wedding in 2 months. When I had to choose a photographer it was obvious Mason was the winner among the several who were referred to me. Not only was he very responsive to my inquiries, but his sample pictures were also so spontaneous and real. He seemed to capture the moments beautifully.
When the day came he arrived with his wife as his assistant and got to work. I could see he was calm, patient, and he knew how to utilize the surroundings. He was able to keep his professionalism and composure throughout the event.
He was forever ready with the camera during the whole event.
I was so happy when I got a preview of pictures in 4 days and they were absolutely beautiful. Another 10 days and I received all the pictures. Unbelievable!
My daughter and her husband and the rest of us were so pleased with all the pictures.
I will recommend him and his wife with no reservation. Everyone in the wedding wants his name and contact information.

Mason and his wife Savannah are talented and fantastic! We used mason for our engagement photos (which made the most beautiful save the dates), rehearsal dinner and ceremony/reception. They are both extremely nice, helpful, accomodating and professional. I had my two dogs at part of our engagement shoot, and then my 2 nephews and niece as part of our wedding (all under the age of 3). the photos of both hard to capture groups of "kids" were great! not only is the work wonderful, they are both a pleasure to work with. any photos that we wanted they were never far away to capture a shot...even doing so as my bridesmaid kept grabbing them for photo opportunities at the reception! ;) while the memories from our journey will be with us forever, it is wonderful to have documentation of it all as well....i would recommend them to ANYONE!

After handing the reins over to Anchor Pictures, their photographers took care of the rest! We hired two photographers, Mason and Savannah. I was so impressed with the professionalism and personalized service that Anchor Pictures provided. They did a fantastic job organizing large groups of people for formal shots but also allowing candid moments to unfold. Anchor Pictures struck the perfect balance between being in the middle of every moment to capture it but not making themselves a nuisance or distracting from the moment happening.
Anchor Picture's photographer's complemented each other and diversified the angles and type's of images. They provided us we a fantastic mixture of full-color and black & white images– complementary working together through different photographic mediums to capture the spirit and energy of the event. One example of this, the moment when my bride was walking with her father out of a set of doors on her way down the isle was caught from both the front angle and the back angle. The front photo caught the view from the congregation, showing the expression on my bride and father in-laws face perfectly. Simultaneously, the shot from the back framed the moment perfectly with rays of sun radiating through the opened door– a view that would have never been seen by anyone had we not had the second photographer.
All of the photos we received from Anchor Pictures were technically and artistically exquisite. The composition of the photographs demonstrated a keen artistic and formally trained eye. Anchor Pictures' technical balance of exposure, contrast and depth of field was impeccable, throughout a wide array settings– interior, exterior, direct sunlight, shade, night-lighting, etc.
I have and will continue to recommend Anchor Pictures to anyone looking to capture a special moment. There is no equal for the level of professionalism and technical proficiency along with artistic ingenuity and perception that Anchor Pictures provides.

Anchor Pictures captured our wedding day better than I could have ever hoped. Beyond just photographing the event, they truly captured the feeling, mood, and joy present on that day. My two main priorities for that day was to have an awesome party for all of my friends to enjoy and awesome pictures to remember it, and that is exactly what I got!

We had 2 photographers, Mason and Savannah Summers, so that we got two different angles, styles, and perspectives on the event. In addition to the wedding and reception they also photographed our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and getting ready before the wedding. (l recommend all of these services if you can. Everyone says your wedding goes by in a blur and it is very true!) They also traveled across the country for it!

We didn’t have a lot of very specific photo ideas, just wanted to leave that up to the professionals and I am glad we did. Mason and Savannah have an eye for the perfect setting, lighting, etc. We did a “first look” shoot before the ceremony, and they did a beautiful job of setting that up and making that extremely memorable. They caught all of the important moments of the ceremony, from the smallest details and fleeting facial expressions to sweeping shots of the whole setting. Then, far beyond the traditional, formal family and couple photos (which were impeccable), I have hundreds of candid photos of everyone who matters to us laughing, dancing and having a great time. I think my mom put it best when she said "every time I saw a special moment happening anywhere, I would reach for my camera, but Mason or Savannah was already there capturing it”.

All in all, Anchor Pictures truly captured the feeling and mood of the most important day of my life and I HIGHLY recommend them. (In fact, I recommended them to my sister-in-law for her wedding last year and she loved them as well!) There are enough tough decision surrounding a wedding, but this one it easy! You will be so happy you chose Anchor Pictures.

Mason Summers is an absolute gem. Not only are his photographs absolutely brilliant and capture the day to a tee, but he is the hardest working and sweetest guy around. He and his lovely wife/second shooter, Savannah, are the best team. They accommodate your needs and make sure to capture every moment in a unique way. They're so much fun to be around and make even lengthy family photo session seem like a breeze. So important when you want comfortable, natural photos. We absolutely adore our photos (as does everyone else) and will treasure them forever. Can't wait to work with them again!

We couldn't be happier with the choice of Mason Summers as the photographer for our daughter's wedding. He and his assistant managed to be everywhere, yet unobtrusive. He was extremely professional, gracious, easy to work with and best of all, the photos were beautiful! Mason has a wonderful eye and both the portraits and the candid shots were everything we'd hoped for and more.

We are so happy we chose Mason Summers for our wedding photographer. He was extremely professional, with great communication in person, on the phone, and over email with both me, my husband, AND all of our parents. On the day of the wedding, he and his assistant arrived before their scheduled time and immediately got to work taking amazing shots of the wedding preparation. So many of our friends and family commented on Mason's professionalism and artistic eye, and he NEVER stopped during the whole wedding day. He was wonderful with our guests, and managed to always get the shot while never being intrusive on our events. Can't recommend him enough!

Mason was great to work with from our initial meeting to our engagement photos to our wedding day. My fiancée and I had initially booked Mason and a second photographer for my wedding in Shenandoah Valley (Mimslyn Inn in Luray, VA) but forfeited our deposits with the venue and other local vendors because the Mimslyn Inn was a nightmare to work with. As my fiancée and I were looking for a new wedding venue, we knew that we wanted to continue to work with Mason. We even confirmed with Mason that he was available to be our photographer before we signed with our new wedding venue (Hotel Monaco Baltimore) for a wedding date that was a week later than originally planned. If he wasn’t available, we would have continued our search for a venue that matched Mason’s availability. Besides being extremely easy to work with (responsive, laid back, kind), we really appreciated Mason’s unobtrusive photojournalistic style. From the beginning, we knew that we did not want any kitschy or awkwardly posed portraits and cheesy jumping photos. Instead, we were looking for someone that could capture how light and shadows can really showcase the beauty of a moment during our wedding day. When we first met Mason, I showed him my Pinterest board of photographs I liked to make sure we were a good fit for one another. And, by my wedding day, I had pinned over 300 photographs on Pinterest that I liked for Mason. Mason’s work is exactly what we were looking for. We will truly treasure the photographs he took. We recently read on Mason’s blog that he does baby portraits as well. . . see you in a couple of years, Mason!

We couldn't have been more happy to have Mason as our photographer. We had a particularly long wedding day, doing two ceremonies in one day ( one for each of our cultures ). He was at the first ceremony exactly when we needed him to be there. We had him do both photography and video and although there were 3 people there total, they were not in the way ever. In fact I would say they went beyond their duties as photographers and offered to help multiple times. Also we did some engagement photos with them and they came out amazingly. It was a real joy to do the photo shoot too. Mason was super friendly and we had a great time doing them. They were amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer.

Mason is an outstanding talent. He was recommended to me by a friend, and to this day (nearly a year later) I'm still getting tons of positive comments on my pictures. Everyone absolutely loves them, and my husband and I couldn't be happier with them. Mason was easy to reach, and from our first meet up/consultation with him we felt very comfortable with his manner and experience. He has such a creative eye and captured moments we had no idea he was there for. He and his wife are like a ninja team of photography talent. I couldn't recommend Mason Summers Photography more highly. Very satisfied customer.
