After looking at a few proposed officiants, I came across Deb’s website and loved what I was seeing. After having an initial phone call with Deb, I knew I wanted her to officiate my wedding. Deb was straightforward, prompt with her responses, and very knowledgeable about the process. I fully trusted Deb. From the moment we met Deb at one of our local wedding expos, we knew that she was going to be the fit for us. Her calming demeanor was one that helped put us at ease throughout the planning process (and especially at the altar during the big moment!). Wonderful officiant
Deb officiated my wedding between me and my husband on 10/12/25 at our venue, Grand View, in Mendon, MA. She was absolutely wonderful and so was the experience she crafted for us. She was also very responsive while in the planning process and very detail-oriented. We chose from lots of different sample ceremonies she shared with us to tailor our experience to exactly what we were looking for. She is able to create any kind of ceremony for you from religious, to spiritual, to non-religious. Deb made the ceremony we put together flow beautifully and included a sweet surprise about our dog that she had remembered from our original interview with her. The price was very fair - I think $450. Deb also sent over our marriage license to our city hall and they sent the final copy to us which eased our stress of having to do this ourselves. And most importantly, she honored our request to step out of the way for our kiss making it intimate and special. I have nothing but positive things to say about Deb and the beautiful ceremony she delivered on our most special day!

Reverend Deb was incredible! She took the time to really listen to what my husband and I wanted for our ceremony and made it feel so personal to us. She sent a list of vow options to help inspire our own, and even went above and beyond by researching Albanian traditions to honor my husbands heritage. Deb was amazing! She sent us 40 pages of different ceremonies we could pick and choose from. She then asked us questions about ourselves to create our own special ceremony. We wanted something quick, and she did the ceremony within 15 minutes! She called me at 10pm when I was having questions. She met with both sides of the bridal party and walked through exactly what needed to happen. She was so kind and thorough. I could not recommend her enough!

I could not recommend Reverend Hoch enough. Reverend Hoch from our very first conversation made my then fiance (now husband) and I feel very comfortable and she made us feel so calm.

Cant thank Debra enough for how amazing she was to us. After everything going wrong with our original plans we thought we wouldn't be able yo get married on the date we originally wanted and before my wife would have to drive back home to Canada. After seekonk city hall recommended us to debra I reached out to her and within I'd say 2 hours she was calling us to setup the event and even managed to make room for us for the date we wanted originally. A Heartfelt Rhode Island Ceremony
My now husband and I were looking for someone to officiate our non-religious wedding ceremony in September 2024 and came across Rev. Deborah Hoch. Her reviews were outstanding and they are all for good reason. Rev. Deborah is lovely- she made the process of putting together a ceremony easy and she made herself available to answer all of our questions. Our ceremony was in Rhode Island but we live in California- we were able to meet with her via telephone or FaceTime beforehand. She is a professional and she is very good at what she does. When searching for an officiant for our big day, Rev. Deborah Hoch made the process so easy. We had a conversation over the phone with her. This is when we knew, she was the perfect choice. She sent us so many examples of wedding ceremonies, poems, and other unique ways to make our day as special as it was. Reverend Deborah Hoch recently officiated our wedding in September 2023 at Longwood Venues's Belle Mer. We completely see why she is on Longwood Venues' list of preferred/recommended wedding vendors/partners. The moment we spoke with her, we knew she was exactly the person we wanted to officiate our wedding! She has such a wide range of ways to create a ceremony - across the spectrum of religions, the level of religious inclusions, how the bride and groom participate, etc. My fiance and I wanted to make the ceremony meaningful without having to read aloud our personal vows and have a 'sprinkle' of Christian traditions/readings. It was clear Deborah has many years of experience with officiating weddings as she 100% understood from a single intro call with her what we were looking for - and even sent over numerous example of ceremony structures that we could take pieces from and make our own special structure with. On wedding day, her calm and collected manner calmed us down and helped us focus on the meaning of the day. She was communicative with the wedding party on what to expect in the ceremony and reminded them on tips for walking down the aisle. She delivered an amazing wedding ceremony - with many tears and smiles in the audience throughout. Also, many don't realize the legal steps that need to be taken to get your marriage license and make it official. Deborah completely led the process and managed submission of our marriage documents post-wedding. Thank you so much to Rev Deborah Hoch! Reverend Hoch was such a calming, friendly, and caring professional. I had trouble keeping some tears back before my ceremony even started, and once she saw this she immediately managed to help me to not only maintain composure, but to really feel peaceful. Rev. Deb made our wedding ceremony SO special and memorable! After our initial phone conversation with her, my husband said "wow, that was easy, she's great!" and I really can't agree more! Deb asked us a few questions and, based on our responses, she sent over several scripts that we were able to take bits and pieces from each, and completely customize our ceremony. She even helped us add some Viking culture into our vows, including a Unity Toast where we took a shot! It really meant so much that we could truly make our ceremony, one of the most important moments in our lives, so unique to who we are as a couple. Deb even gives helpful tips to both sides of the wedding party right before the ceremony, and she helped my maid of honor adjust my gown; she really goes above and beyond! Perfect for Our June 25th Wedding!
My husband Chris and I chose Rev. Deb as her officiant for our wedding on June 25th. We did not meet her in person before the wedding but even on our phone conversation she was so warm and understanding. She sent us a whole bunch of ceremony and reading choices, both religious and secular (our ceremony was a blend of both) and helped us craft a beautiful ceremony together. She also added some Harry Potter and Star Wars references unbeknownst to us (since we are both huge nerds) which were a wonderful surprise. Would highly recommend Rev. Deb to anyone preparing to get married.

We were in need of an officiant for our post-COVID vow renewal after our original officiant fell through, and luckily for us Reverend Deborah was available. We couldn't be happier that she was able to step in and work with us to help create a beautiful ceremony to help us celebrate our marriage with family and friends. She is incredibly kind, helpful, attentive, accommodating, and determined to make sure that your event is exactly what you want it to be. We had a planning call with her beforehand and she made suggestions to help make the ceremony flow better and easily adapted when we wanted to add in a reading at the last minute. We also included our 8 month old son in the ceremony and Rev. Deborah was fantastic at including him in the moment, even when he started to get a little antsy. Fantastic and Awesome
Rev Deb Hoch was not only professIona but helpful and understanding throughout the process. We were nervous and just planning the wedding but Reverend Hoch made it so easy. I guests are still talking about the beautiful ceremony she performed. She even straightened my dress out before we began and made sure everything was picture perfect. We cannot thank her enough!

Amazing!! 10/10 would recommend!
Reverend Hoch was absolutely amazing. She was extremely professional and accommodating. She answered all of our questions, no matter how many times we emailed or texted her and made our big day simply magical. She has truly found her calling. I would highly recommend Reverend Hoch for any wedding ceremony.

Wonderful!
My now husband and I are so grateful to have had Reverend Deborah Hoch as our wedding officiant. She performed our ceremony earlier this month (February 11, 2022) and we couldn’t be happier! The ceremony was perfect! Not only was she helpful in working with us on our vows, but she also helped guide us through the logistics of getting our marriage license and certificate. She thought of everything so we didn’t have to! As a bride who was planning the wedding herself and was worried about missing something important in the process – I knew our reverend had a handle on the ceremony!
The vows she wrote for us were so beautiful and better than we ever could have hoped. We wanted a non-religious ceremony that also included my husband’s son from a previous marriage. We didn’t know how we wanted him incorporated into the vows, and that’s when she told us about a Unity Puzzle. The puzzle, similar to a unity candle, is where each family member involved, puts a puzzle piece in a decorative frame. It was perfect and we had no idea something like that existed before! For that we are even more grateful!
Overall, working with Reverend Deborah Hoch throughout the whole wedding planning process was wonderful. She is so personable and truly made our wedding day as special as it could be.

A Dream to Work With
Deborah was a dream to work with! We were able to completely customize our ceremony, and she kept things running smoothly in the processional and recessional for us. I would hire her again and again if I could!

Amazing!!!
Deborah was amazing. I can't say enough about her. She was warm, caring and kind. Her words at our ceremony were straight from the heart. You would have thought she had known my husband and I for years. I have already recommended her to 2 friends and our ceremony was only 5 days ago!!! A Wonderful Ceremony
Rev. Deb was an incredible officiant and we absolutely enjoyed having her conduct our wedding ceremony! She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable about the licensing process, and easy to get into contact with. The ceremony was beautiful and we will remember it fondly. We highly recommend her!

September wedding
We had hired Rev Hoch back in 2019 for our 2020 wedding. After switching our date a few times due to covid, and even switching venues we finally had our wedding day on September 17th. Rev Hoch provided us with different choices to piece together our wedding ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful, everything I had hoped for. Our guests were raving about her! Rev Hoch was professional, organized and so helpful throughout the entire process! Do not hesitate to book her for your upcoming ceremonies!

More than an officiant, wonderful!
Deborah officiated our wedding last week and we are so thankful for her! She was easy to work with as she helped us create our own unique ceremony and gave valuable recommendations. Our guests (and even other vendors!) raved about her and our ceremony. Her attention to detail and experience in event planning shone during our ceremony. She straightened out my dress when my maid of honor's hands were full, she held the microphone so the mic stand wasn't in our pictures, and she guided our ring bearer and flower girl down the aisle when they started walking in the wrong direction (haha). She goes above and beyond the expected role of an officiant. She's kind, pleasant, has a great sense of humor and a "go with the flow" attitude. I was extremely calm during the ceremony, thanks to Deborah! We cannot recommend her enough. Don't look anywhere else, book Deborah as your officiant!!

Excellent ceremony delivered with grace, style and personalization.
Rev. Hoch was incredibly engaged with the entire process working with Natalie and Kyle to create and deliver the ceremony. I am the mother of the bride, and I knew we were in good hands from the moment I first spoke with Reverend Hoch as she got to know me and Natalie and Kyle. She used imagery of the ocean, artistry of the painters canvas and tapestry and personal messages to the couple - all capturing the essence of their relationship. She spoke flawlessly, genuinely, beautifully and eloquently. Comments from guests: "Reverend Hoch was the best officiant I have ever seen and heard." "She spoke so well, was relaxed and calm, provided humor, and was so engaged with not only the couple but with all the guests." "Just fabulous"!

Our ceremony with Deborah was so special. She made the entire process easy and was always there to answer questions. The ceremony was so beautiful and personal to my husband and I. Amazing officiant!
Deborah did an unbelievable job officiating our wedding at The Chanler. She is such an experienced professional. The entire process of working with her was delightful, from planning to the execution. We have received so many compliments from our guests at how great our ceremony was.
I would DEFINITELY recommend her to friends and family. My now husband and I are thrilled Deborah was a part of our special day.

Rev. Deborah Hoch helped us at a time when our minister became ill a few days before our wedding ceremony. On very short notice she crafted a beautiful ceremony with us and was extremely professional to work with throughout. Highly recommend Deborah!
Deborah truly helped us have the most perfect wedding ceremony. We were able to use her scripts and add some personal touches to have the ceremony be what we wanted. Deborah helped make tweaks for everything to flow better and her finished product was exactly what we wanted.
Day of, I can’t explain how nice it was to not have to worry about anything with the ceremony. She’s such a professional and handled everything on her own. From coordinating to get the license signed by our witnesses, to working with our DJ/videographer on the microphones, to giving gentle nudges to people to make sure everything ran smoothly for the ceremony (ie reminding my brother to greet my future husband after walking me down the aisle and reminding me and my husband to show our hands to our guests during the ring exchange) she had everything taken care of. We had so many compliments on how nice the ceremony was and how great Deborah was!
Highly recommend hiring Deborah! She was so pleasant to work with and is truly such a professional!

Just wonderful
Our experience with Reverend Deborah was wonderful. She was so responsive to my initial inquiries and answered every question completely. She kept in consistent communication in the weeks leading up to our wedding date which helped to ease my nerves. And she tailored her words exactly as we requested for our simple ceremony and arrived on time (actually a few minutes early!). Her friendly eyes and kind smile was just what I needed to see as I walked down the aisle, besides my husband of course! Thank you again Reverend Deborah.

We couldn’t have been happier to have Reverend Deborah Hoch as our wedding officiant. As everybody probably is, we were nervous on our big day, however Rev. Deb made us feel very comfortable with her calm and soothing presence. She is very well spoken, professional and kind. She even made sure to step aside for our first kiss picture!
