  We cannot say enough great things about An Elegant Affair! We worked with Dawn to create our save the dates, shower invitations, wedding invitations, place cards, and menu cards. Each piece Dawn created was more beautiful than the next. Our wedding invitations truly set the tone for our wedding, and fit the venue perfectly. Dawn is a pleasure to work with! She answered all of our questions and worked with us to make sure everything was perfect. The personalized experience we had, coupled with the beautiful products we received are the reasons why we recommend An Elegant Affair so highly. If we could give more stars, we would!

  This place is a gem - I cannot believe I am the first to write a review. Julia and Dawn are the mother/daughter co-owners of this little boutique, and wedding invitations are just one of the many things they do. They were so helpful! We had no idea what we wanted, so they let us peruse the sample books and pick out a few that we liked. They helped us personalize them to fit our style and gave us a lot of helpful advice about traditional language, specific meanings behind certain words, name orders, and how to make sure that our invitations struck the level of formality and simplicity that fit our wedding style. They were also really easy to get in touch with when we needed to make changes to our list. In addition, they had a list of calligraphers that they worked with for us to choose from (for an additional fee, of course). By working with them, they coordinated all of the calligraphy. It was great. The invitations and envelopes came out beautifully, and we got a lot of compliments on them from our guests. They were definitely of a higher quality than anything you could order online. Plus, Dawn and Julia were so patient and kind - we highly recommend them!
