Best Decision we Made

Amy is simply a genius. Her skill and professionalism is unparalleled in her industry - she is by no means a budget option but the result she provides is absolutely priceless and worth every cent as you'll cherish these photos for a lifetime. Our wedding was true challenge for any photographer - entirely indoors, very low light, and we specifically requested shots on film. She delivered the most stunning shots that captured every ounce of joy and love, conveying the deep emotion and elegance of the day. 100/10 stars for Amy and her team, highly recommend if you want absolutely perfect pictures of your wedding.

Best Decision!

Amy went above and beyond as our wedding photographer. After being part of a few weddings myself, I knew just how much of an impact a photographer can have on the flow and vibe of the day—and Amy absolutely exceeded every expectation.

From the moment we met her, it was clear she wasn’t just incredibly talented behind the camera, but also one of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. She has this amazing ability to make you feel at ease, like she’s not just your photographer, but a friend who’s truly invested in your day.

Even my three younger sisters couldn’t stop raving about her—and my dad, who rarely commented on anything wedding-related, made a point to say how impressed he was by the way Amy took charge in such a calm and sincere way.

One of the most impressive things she pulled off? Coordinating and capturing large family photos with 40–60 people—effortlessly. No stress, no confusion, just smooth and joyful moments we’ll cherish forever.

The Energy You Need on Your Wedding Day

You must book Amy for your wedding!! We are SO grateful that she was our photographer for our special day. Amy was calm, cool, collected and the exact type of sweet, lovely energy that we needed on a day that can bring a lot of stress. She and her assistant Emily were so organized and helpful in making sure that the schedule ran smoothly and efficiently. They went above and beyond in the way that they attended to my husband and I to make sure that we were comfortable throughout the hot summer day. They were ultra kind in the way that they interacted with all of my family, friends, and other wedding vendors. I cannot even begin to express how happy we are with our photos!! They are so beautiful and natural and we will cherish them forever.

Beyond perfect

Amy is simply the best and there are no other words for it. She is beyond talented and truly cares about her clients. Her calm demeanor is so pleasant and soothing during such a stressful time. It absolutely poured the day of our wedding but you would never know based on our pictures! Amy is a visionary and found spots with natural lighting I never would have thought of. She captured the joy of our day and went above and beyond! I couldn’t imagine our day without her.

The most amazing photographer!

All I can say is WOW! From the moment we began planning our wedding, we knew that the photos that would capture our special day were very important to us. When we began searching for the perfect photographer who could turn our vision into a reality, we realized we would look no further as soon as we met with Amy Rizzuto. Not only does her beautiful work speak for itself, but sitting with Amy we felt so at ease with her kindness, professionalism, and unmatched talent. Amy listened to everything we envisioned and was the sweetest, most enthusiastic vendor. Even when rescheduling our wedding day due to Covid, Amy was so understanding and made the replanning process stress-free. She truly loves her work and goes above and beyond to make your wedding day so special. From being so wonderful with the children in the bridal party, to even helping me carry the train of my gown, Amy felt like family by the end of the night! When we received our wedding pictures, my husband and I couldn’t believe we were looking at photos of ourselves instead of photos in a magazine! Sweetest Photographer

Amy was a photographer at our friend's wedding 5 years back. Amy is such a gem, such a lovely human and so incredibly nice and up for anything.
Amy was very professional and knew what she wanted to achieve. She gave us no pressure and let us do what we wanted and simultaneously bossed out.
We already got previews and the her work translate into what you want as a couple.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy is AMAZING! She is phenomenal at her craft and her pictures really show it! She really listens to her couples with exactly what they are looking to capture within their wedding pictures and absolutely delivers, to perfection. Not only does Amy photograph, but she organizes the day of timeline and makes sure everyone is on time and organized. She also has to coordinate all of the group pictures and my family/guests couldn’t stop complimenting on her direction and guidance. It was pouring the day of our wedding and Amy was so excited to get some beautiful outside pictures with umbrellas. She will do whatever is needed to get the pictures we desired and that meant so much to us!! Amy was such a pleasure to work with and I really hope that I have an opportunity to work with her in the future.

Amy is the best!

Amy is the absolute best photographer and I highly recommend her services for your wedding! We postponed our original wedding date to covid and Amy was so accommodating and easy to work with through the process. We were able to do an engagement shoot before that and we had the best time and the pictures were absolutely stunning so we knew going into our wedding it would be even better. We just received our full gallery and the pictures are so stunning and flawless, our family and friends are also so impressed. On top of that Amy is so kind responsive and lovely to work with. She captured every moment and worked well with our wedding party and guests.

Best Wedding Photographer Ever!

Amy was absolutely a dream to work with every step of the way - for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day, and even afterward as we've subsequently added albums to our package after seeing the incredible sneak peak photos. Amy's work is truly beautiful and speaks for itself, but beyond her incredible talent as a photographer, Amy is the most caring, kind, enthusiastic, accommodating, and helpful vendor that you could imagine working with for your wedding. Her passion for weddings is infectious and she truly goes out of her way to make your wedding day stress-free and extremely special, and she will do absolutely anything to capture the perfect shots. Amy was running around our entire wedding day making sure she did not miss any special moment. You'll often see Amy standing on chairs or on the ground capturing every moment of your day. My wedding guests even commented on how impressed they were with Amy and her team because anytime there was a photo opportunity there was always a photographer there to capture it. I feel so fortunate to have found Amy, and I am grateful to her for her flexibility with accommodating both our wedding date and venue changes due to COVID-19. Amy was also my go-to vendor for other vendor referrals, and she led me to the best videographer and hair and makeup team. Your photographer is arguably your most important vendor because they are with you your entire wedding day, and they capture the memories of your wedding that you'll have for a lifetime. The most wonderful photographer!

When planning our wedding, choosing the right photographer was high on our priority list. My husband Andrew and I wanted someone who would be thoughtful and caring the day of, and who also produced beautiful work that we could treasure forever. Without a doubt, Amy exceeded our every expectation and hope. Logistically, Amy is extremely organized and prompt; coordinating with her throughout the wedding process was truly a joy. Because the photographer is really with the couple throughout the day, it’s also important that you enjoy their company. For us, having Amy by our side was extremely calming, and our whole bridal party had a blast working with her. When we received our wedding photos, I was immediately brought to tears. Her work is nothing short of stunning, and we enjoy her art on our walls every day. There are truly not enough words to describe how thankful we are for Amy. Amy captured our engagement shoot in the most magical way

I can't say enough incredible things about Amy as a person and her work. Amy is the sweetest and so kind, and made my husband and I feel so at ease during our engagement photoshoot in Central Park. She captured photos that can only be described as pure magic in the cherry blossoms, and they made for unbelievably pretty save the dates. We will cherish our pictures forever, and we cannot thank Amy enough for going above and beyond for us on our shoot day. 12/10 recommend her!! Thank you Amy!!

Amy is the absolute best

Amy was the first person we called when we started to plan our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! I had been following her Instagram for years and through her stories and work, I could see how talented and lovely she is. She is exactly the same way in person! She is one of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve ever met - and it was exactly the kind of energy that I was so happy to have by my side on my wedding day! She initially photographed our engagement session about a year before our wedding day and the pictures were more beautiful than we could’ve ever imagined. Amy was so great about directing us and made us feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera. And then on our wedding day, our families and bridal party loved Amy as well, which made all of the wedding day picture taking even more enjoyable! Ultimately, Amy captured all of the emotion on our wedding day so perfectly and she was a pleasure to work with. Our pictures are SO full of joy and love, and we will treasure them forever. BEST decision to book Amy to capture your wedding day

Amy is INCREDIBLE!! One of the best decisions we made was hiring Amy to capture our wedding. She was such a joy to be with and truly captured the magic and spirit of the day. We could not be happier with the quality of her work. Her personality was infectious and she kept everyone feeling positive and excited, despite chilly temperatures as we were taking outside photos with our families and bridal parties. Even members of our family who typically are not comfortable with getting their photos taken remarked on how comfortable Amy made them feel with her direction and how easy the whole process was. Amy truly cares about her couples and goes above and beyond to make sure that she captures all of the people and moments that are most important and special on your wedding day. She and her second shooter Carroll were so attentive and patient and helped everyone feel calm and confident. They guided us through the entire day, made us smile and laugh all while capturing the most beautiful images that we will cherish forever. They also worked seamlessly with our vendor team and helped so much throughout the day, even when the task was outside of the typical job description of the photography team. Amy is the BEST decision you will make for your special day!!!

Amy was referred to us by one of my closest friends and she was one of the BEST decisions we made when it came to our big day. From the very beginning Amy was interested in really getting to know us as a couple and what was really important for us to have captured for our special day. She made sure to go over all the details that we thought were important. As if that was not enough she is the MOST understanding and responsive vendor you could ever hope for. Every time we scheduled out engagement photos it rained we rescheduled several times, and Amy was always very adaptable to our schedules. The day of our wedding Amy was super easy going and had the calmest demeanor, which I sooo appreciated with all that was going on that day. She took everything that our Latin families threw her way in stride which kept us at ease as well. Amy even helped with the boutonnieres and drove some guests that were going to Uber to the wedding (wayyyy above the call of duty). AND THE PHOTOS !!!!!!!! Amy sent us a “sneak peek” the next day (yesss the next day!!!) and there was not one image that was not gloriously romantic and natural and just GORGEOUS!!! I knew we made a good decision getting Amy for our special day but we got so much more that we ever hoped for!!! I would highly recommend Amy as your photographer as she will do the same for you!!!!

I had the joy of working with Amy last weekend at the Boathouse in Central Park. I was the wedding coordinator for a wedding with 22 attendants and 200 guests. Amy (and her team) was absolutely amazing to work with. She is extremely creative, flexible, professional, talented and so fun. It rained all day so plans for photos were shifted around and Amy caught some beautiful moments of my bride and groom. I hope I get to work with her again sometime. Thank you Amy!

From the moment we interacted via email, I knew she’d be our photographer. My husband and I met with Amy at a restaurant close to our apartment. She brought books of her photography (though we had already stalked her work online!) and plenty of questions for us. She is the type of person that wants to get to know you and your soon-to-be spouse so she can incorporate all the little details into her work. After meeting her, we immediately sent her our deposit for her ‘Elegant Package’. Prior to the wedding, Amy took our engagement photos outdoors in November. It was freezing, and she maintained her positive attitude and actually kept us going! We loved working with her then and our wedding was no different. She showed up to our wedding early and was ready to begin the day. She took photos of all the little details of the day, which was great since we felt like we missed a lot of them in the craziness of hosting a wedding. Amy (and her assistant) helped carry my bouquet at times, fixed my dress/veil, got into the thick of Central Park woods, stood up on stools/benches, hopped fences, coordinated a large bridal party, projected her voice to get everyone’s attention, directed tourists in front of major NYC landmarks (no easy feat!), etc. – all to get the perfect shot! We also got her photo booth package, which our guests loved using while they were waiting for drinks at the bar. The photo booth photos were posted online less than a day later and were such a great preview to the actual photos (and provided a great laugh/reminder of what an amazing day it was!). Less than 48 hours after the wedding, Amy supplied us with sneak peaks that we instantly shared on social media. Every single image grasped the emotion and excitement of the day. Amy is truly an amazing, capable, talented person with an incredible eye for all things wedding related and I would highly recommend hiring her for your wedding! She is the best money you will spend on your wedding! Thank you Amy!!!

Amy and her team are a class act!!! She is the definition of calm, cool and collected and is the absolute sweetest human being. Amy also knows how to take charge in order to get the most perfect photos of your special day...she kept us on time and on track! Amy is also extremely organized and will send you an online questionnaire a few weeks before your wedding to ensure she is capturing important information regarding the day of and ensuring you are super involved in the type of photos you want her to take. I got married on December 1st and just received a thoughtful holiday gift in the mail from her - it was a calendar with pictures of me and my husband from the wedding on each month :). If I could give her 10 stars I would!

Amy is beyond an amazing photographer. From our very first meeting, I felt so comfortable with Amy. She truly is passionate about her work and cares about each couple. She is so organized and very professional. She answered all my emails and gave me resources throughout the wedding planning process. Amy is truly talented and it shows in her work. The day of my wedding my bustle broke, and Amy jumped right in to sew it up. I was running late and she kept pictures going, she is quick and efficient. Choosing Amy to be our photographer was without a doubt one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! It is clear from looking at her work that she is incredibly talented, but beyond that, she is also passionate about what she does and dedicated to making every couple she works with feel special. From the moment we met Amy and throughout our planning process, she was organized, responsive, and helpful anytime we had questions or needed advice. As our wedding day approached, she worked with us to put together a timeline and ensure that she captured every photo that we envisioned with each other, our families and our friends. She and her assistant Rosemary were so great to work with on our wedding day and even put together a slideshow of our ceremony photos to show during our reception. The sneak preview photos we received a few days after the wedding are absolutely amazing and we've gotten tons of compliments on them! We can't wait to get the rest. If I could give Amy more than 5 stars, I would. She is a beyond amazing engagement shoot photographer. So calm, collected, and simply the best. My fiance and I had never taken professional photos together and through her guidance she turned what would have been ordinary photos into extraordinary. She took the extra time to get to know us and gave us full flexibility to select meaningful spots for us to take our pictures. We loved our photos so much we ended up using 3 for the Save the Date!

We can't even begin to explain how much we LOVE Amy and her pictures! I had a very specific type of soft light and whimsical feel I wanted and Amy was just the right photographer for us! Besides the fact that she is a SWEETHEART! I explained to my fellow Jersey shore girls that Amy is super nice, ya know, like the "not from Jersey type of nice". ;-) She will make sure you get every shot you want (from Pinterest haha) and do whatever it takes to get the shot! She literally got into the fountain! My husband told me he knew she was the best fit for us when she did that! She blogged about our wedding and her narrative describing everything was so amazing! Amy was the star of all of our wedding vendors! She is kind, detailed, patient, and has an eye for the perfect shot! We hired Amy to photograph our wedding on 8/13/16 at the Essex House in NYC- she and Rosemary (the second photographer) were incredible! I met Amy nearly a year earlier at her home in NJ, right away I knew I had made a great decision. Amy has a great energy about her, she is kind, bubbly, and understanding. She genuinely wants to make sure you get everything out of your wedding photos that you want. On the day of the wedding Amy brought her amazing personality and skill to the event. She was easy to work with and was able to take charge to make sure that we got all the shots that we needed. One week after the wedding Amy posted a blog post with about 40 or 50 images from my wedding. The photos are all beautiful! Her work really speaks for itself. The images are warm and romantic and really capture the day. She was able to get every single picture I wanted. I had stressed to Amy how important our dog is to us (who was in the wedding) and how much I wanted to get some photos of him, Amy listened and we have so many gorgeous photos of our dog. Now, 2 months later I have all of the photos from the wedding and I can't stop looking at them. Every time I open up the online gallery I am able to relive the day a little bit. Hiring Amy was a great decision, I really recommend her, you won't regret it!

Choosing Amy to capture our wedding day was hands down the best decision we made throughout the planning process! I did some intense research online and when I came across a wedding that Amy had captured, right at our venue, I knew I had to meet with her. After meeting with her for coffee, my then-fiance and I knew that we had to have her as our wedding photographer! Not only is she amazingly talented and detail-oriented, but she has a glowing personality, lights up every room, and makes you feel unbelievably comfortable in front of the cameras. During our initial meeting, we told Amy that a passion of ours was snowboarding and she immediately encouraged us to have our engagement shoot on a mountain. We ended up doing our engagement shoot at Mountain Creek a few months later and I am still floored by the beauty found in these photos. She captured all of the beautiful moments and details, and she was not afraid to run up and down the slippery mountain to capture the most amazing shots! We received an overwhelming number of compliments from our engagement shoot and since then, we could not wait to see what kind of photos Amy would deliver for our wedding, which was this past weekend. Well, let me tell you- Amy did not disappoint! During our reception, Amy (along with Mekina- who is also a truly amazing photographer!) worked to put together a slideshow and displayed on two screens about 50 photos from earlier in the day. My guests were absolutely mesmerized by how crisp & beautiful our photos looked. They were all equally impressed that they were able to put together this gorgeous slideshow in only a couple of short hours! We've had dozens of guests tell us that our photos look like they're right out of a bridal magazine, and they couldn't believe how quickly Amy and Mekina delivered such phenomenal photos! We cannot wait to see the rest of our wedding day photos, which I know will all be coming soon! If you are engaged, look no further. They are the best around!! :)

Hiring Amy was the best decision we made!! We had our engagement and wedding photos taken by Amy. My husband and I had never taken professional photos before and we were worried about how we would look and feel. Amy makes you feel so comfortable, and she is so professional and bubbly. We were so shocked when we saw our photos. They were so beautiful, everyone told us that every picture could have been featured in a bridal magazine and we felt the same. It is truly an amazing feeling to see the best version of yourselves that you didn't even knew existed! By the time your wedding arrives, she feels like a friend instead of a vendor. We knew that our wedding photos would be amazing just because of her talent and eye for capturing special moments. Photos are the MOST important thing about your wedding. You want to look back and have pictures you LOVE, want to show off, and hang on your walls/picture frames. If you choose Amy, you won't know which ones to pick because you will have so many options that are beyond stunning! All of my guests and wedding party were so impressed by her kind and sweet personality, and how she made everyone feel. You get your pictures in an extremely timely manner, and she even gives you a handful of pictures the day after your engagement session or wedding. I don't have nicer things to say! I cannot say enough about what a joy it was to work with Amy Rizzuto Photography, who was recommended by a friend. From the moment I first looked at her portfolio, I just HAD to have her shoot my wedding. I met Amy via Skype and immediately adored this sweet and professional woman who is a hopeless romantic. Not only that, but she makes you feel as though you are not only a client but a close, personal friend. This close connection and the raw talent that is evident in every single photo she will take of you will make you feel as though you are a feature in a bridal magazine. She will capture the emotions as they happen so that you can relive the happiest day of your life for years to come. Aside from the great work that Amy produces, she is also a pleasure to work with. She was super helpful to me during the planning process. She has a ton of resources on her website, including numerous wedding and engagement shoots which feature a variety of different themes and colors to help plan your wedding day. We purchased the package which included both an engagement shoot and wedding day shoot. On both occasions, Amy went above and beyond to capture the perfect pictures. She stood on tables, crawled into the bushes, literally anything she needed to do to get the shot. The result is simply breathtaking. On our wedding day, Amy and her second shooter Kristy were a calming presence for everyone. They were both amazing with my 2 year old flower girl and 3/4 year old ring bearers. Kristy spent a lot of time helping to make them smile for photos and keep them occupied when their parents were taking pictures. At the end of the night, Amy and Kristy said goodbye to us and then stayed for an extra hour taking shots of the dance floor and guests because they were so wrapped up in their craft and having such a good time. Stop looking now and book Amy while you can, it will be the best decision you make (after marrying that wonderful soul mate, of course).

I cannot begin to recommend Amy enough. She is in a word-perfect. We all know how special photos are and how they can bring you back to a specific moment in time and with Amy's photos from our wedding day I will always remember the joy, love and how special it was. She is helpful, efficient, sweet, bubbly and captured every moment we could want and more. Our guests and family members were all so impressed with her and her photos are absolutely stunning. She makes everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera and captures each moment perfectly! Amy and her second shooter Mekina (who is also absolutely fabulous) truly helped make our day and they have given us so many great memories to treasure!

Amy is an amazing photographer and person. Picking her was one of the best decisions I made in the entire wedding planning process. She made every photo looks like a magical fairytale moment. She follows up in a quick and timely manner and posts pictures online right away. I want to especially commend her on how amazing she was the day of as well, her calm nature and bubbly personality was such an asset as I was running late and nervous about time. She calmly reassured me that she would get all the important shots, having a person who is that calm and who knows was she is doing on one of the happiest (but most stressful) days of your like is an incredible benefit. Amy is in one word … amazing!

Amy is truly an amazing person and photographer. She was the first vendor we hired for our wedding this past December at the Central Park Boathouse. In the course of my extensive research, I came across the award winning photos that Amy took for another winter wedding at the Boathouse and knew I had to have her. She was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the months leading up to the wedding and on the day of. She was always very responsive, flexible, and creative, and is an amazingly positive person who you can tell loves what she does. And the pictures she takes are amazing! We were very happy with the photos that she and her assistant McKenna (who is also amazing) took and were very pleasantly surprised when we received them only 2 weeks after the wedding! We highly recommend Amy Rizzuto photography!

Truly an amazing photographer and person! Best wedding decision! Deserves more than 5 Stars!
I did extensive research on the knot and simply stalked several photographers and weddings before making the decision to use Amy. Right away, Amy's work stood out to me as being clean, organic, and super romantic. Amy has the magical talent to make any picture look like a fairy tale (but a real life one!). From our first meeting, we knew that Amy was a genuine and sweet person that cared about her work and her contribution to making a bride and groom's days go as smooth as possible. She is just pure, raw talent and captures perfect feelings and images to convey love for each other. Amy is great with following up and delivers your pictures timely. She just is a very genuine person and you can't help but love her. Weeks before the wedding we touched base, to discuss wedding shots, etc and a backup plan in case of rain/hurricane. On the day of, Amy was incredible. She is so patient and sweet. They say that your wedding day is never supposed to go as expected and our wedding really took us for a rollercoaster. Even with the hiccups, Amy and her assistant were really good about staying till the cake cutting to capture our important moments. I am so grateful for that and it's truly because of her passion. The thing I love most about Amy is that it's not just a business contract that she upholds; it's a relationship and a friendship. A couple days after the wedding we received our preview of wedding photos which is set up as our own page with a song. It was incredible. I loved every picture and cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures in 10 weeks’ time. Photography is one of the most important decisions to make to keep the memories alive for years to come. I wanted to make sure to capture everything from the smallest detail to the largest detail. Amy's work makes the day come alive each time we look at them!!! Best Decision!!

We could not be happier with how our engagement and wedding photographs turned out! We spent what felt like forever searching for our photographer because it was so important to us to find someone we trusted to preserve our wedding day for a lifetime. Once we started talking with Amy, it was clear how passionate she is and how much she truly cares about her clients. The best part of our wedding, the day, the year, the entire experience was Amy Rizzuto photography. My wife had a hard time picking a photographer because photography is one of her interests and passions. On your wedding day, if the photographer misses a moment, it is gone forever. There is no going back. After reading all of Amy’s reviews, we felt confident that she would produce!
We did not have a chance to meet with Amy before we booked her so she was kind enough to set up a skype meeting! We first fell in love with Amy at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for our engagement shoot. Amy produced in a huge way, she managed to cut out all the people in the background of the Cherry Blossoms and make us shine and look more in LOVE than we already are. Once we saw the engagement pictures we could not wait until the day of the wedding to see even more beautiful images.
We had a beautiful fall day with an outside vineyard in the Hudson Valley. Amy and Mekina were professional, attentive, and great at wrangling a tough group of guys together. We already knew that the photos were going to be amazing, but there was more. The very next day, as we had a huge BBQ for all the people from the wedding and those who couldn’t make it, we get an email with a slide show from Amy. It captured some pretty important moments of our day set to our first dance song which I did not think she could have remembered. It was so unexpected that it made my wife cry. It actually made me tear up as well, it was beautiful. Amy & Mekina were amazing, they were the bright shining stars of our event. Amy even had a slide show going during the wedding! Amy always answered emails with in the day and always made my wife feel special! When you are a vendor you are dealing with multiple brides, that some can get lost. Amy never made my wife blend in. She always made her feel special and unique. We loved having Amy by our side capturing the most special day of our lives! We hope we can work with her again!!!

My husband and I were married on November 15, 2014 and used Amy as our photographer.

Its hard to know where to begin when talking about Amy. First, her photographs are absolutely STUNNING, which is easy to discover from the incredible work that is displayed on her blog. Amy is an truly talented artist, whose skill is surpassed only by her passion for her clients. Amy is warm, kind and truly interested in getting to know her clients. I knew from the minute we sat down with her at our first meeting that we had made the right choice.

Amy and her team were simply incredible on the wedding day. About two weeks before we had met with her to discuss the specific timeline of the day and the photographs we wanted. Without missing a beat, Amy remembered everything we discussed, took charge of the day and provided us with the most stunning photographs I have ever seen. A truly unique aspect of Amy's services is that she provides a "Wedding Day Slideshow" that goes up at the end of your reception showing some of her favorite shots from the day. One of my favorite memories from our wedding was a close friend of mine running up to me on the dance floor and exclaiming how gorgeous the photos were.

The best part about Amy is how supportive she is . I could look to her at any moment and she would guide me to where I needed to be, making sure we got every shot we could in and making sure we were happy with how things were going. The emotional support we felt from her cannot be matched. Her and her team also managed to efficiently organize our extended families and friends for large group shots with a take charge attitude that truly impressed, and saved us precious time.

Throughout our entire reception, and ever since our wedding day, countless guests have commented on how incredible our photographer was. Amy is a gem and a star on the rise. Booking her was the best decision my husband and I made planning our wedding, and we would do it again in a heartbeat!!

I consider myself a lower maintenance bride. As far as wedding planning goes flowers, invitations and other details are important, but were not a priority. We were most concerned with photography. Hiring Amy was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. From her initial meeting with us, we knew we wanted Amy to capture our day.

Amy really cares about her work. Amy did our engagement session last November and was INCREDIBLY flexible. The original date that was slated for the engagement shoot was pouring rain and our back up location was closed! She rescheduled with us on her ONLY day off in months! She listened to our ideas and concerns and got to know us. She makes sure you feel comfortable and gets the jitters out of you. We loved our engagement photos, so we didn’t think we could fall more in love with Amy Rizzuto Photography.

On the day of the wedding, Amy and her team (Mekina and Chelsea) arrived on time and just started shooting. They have an incredible eye for creating beautiful pictures out of something you would never put together. Their attention to detail is amazing. They even had photos at the wedding on a laptop as a preview to show their amazing work.

We are so incredibly happy with the way our photos turned out from Amy Rizzuto Photography. Amy’s passion and talent is what really stands her out from the crowd. I would recommend her and her team to anyone getting married.

My fiance and I are getting married next July in Charleston, SC, and choose local Charleston vendors for our wedding. However, as we call NYC home, we wanted our engagement photos to be taken here! As I searched The Knot to find an engagement photographer, I was overwhelmed with just how many photographers there were in the city. I ultimately decided upon Amy based on her portfolio as well as the personality of her website-- she seemed genuine, dedicated, and passionate.

I am SO glad that I chose Amy. She was everything I thought and more! Amy was so cheerful, reassuring, and professional. She knew all of the best spots in Central Park for photos, and made sure to take time getting shots in every part of the city we had envisioned, even taking a cab over to Brooklyn Bridge with us. She gave us guidance and tips on how to pose, without it ever feeling forced or staged. My fiance commented on how easy and comfortable she made the whole process.

We left Amy around 6pm and went to dinner. By the time we arrived home, she had already posted a sneak peak photo online!!! I couldn't believe her timeliness. Then, the next day, she sent us five more "sneak peak" photos for us to share. Our family and friends were so impressed with the photos-- they told us they looked as if they had come out of a magazine, but yet they also looked very candid and true to us. My mom said she had done a great job of capturing our personalities and relationship.

On top of all of this, Amy was just a kind, sweet, and fun person! I would highly recommend her for your engagement photos and big day!

We booked Amy for our September wedding and an engagement session last fall. And where do I begin? Amy is such an amazing person and photographer. We loved her from the moment we met her. We had actually met with several photographers for our wedding prior to finding Amy and none were as fun, loving and just downright passionate about capturing love as her. After meeting her, it took us about a walk to the car to decide that she was the one. It's like falling in love, when you know you know =).

She makes you feel comfortable in the camera, even my now husband who HATES photographs didn't mind taking hundreds of photos because she makes it such a relaxed, fun session. But really, it is hard to find photographers these days who take such great photos, but are equally still so personable and able to joke around and have fun. (We've both been in our share of weddings and dealt with other photographers.) I had more than a handful of guests, as well as almost every member of our wedding party comment on how absolutely amazing Amy and her team were.

Besides their amazing personalities, Amy and team captured every moment and our venue perfectly and I could not be happier with the results! I love every picture I've seen so far and I can't wait for the rest!!! Everyone was in awe of the photos she put up at our reception. And she was the best decision I made for our wedding and I'm glad her pictures will last forever!

I literally can't say enough about Amy Rizzuto Photography. She was the first vendor we booked after getting engaged and could not be happier that we chose her. She is absolutely amazing! Her energy and love for what she does is truly contagious and made me and my husband feel completely at ease taking photos with her.
We were fortunate enough to have her take our engagement photos and wedding photos and she captured more than we could have imagined. I wish I could post photos to this review because the memories we have now thanks to her are amazing. Picking your wedding photographer is one of the most challenging decisions to make as there are countless ones to choose from with so many different styles. However, after working with Amy Rizzuto Photography, we are so thrilled and beyond happy to say that Amy is in her own category! She is a truly talented photographer! Amy has a charismatic personality from the start of meeting her. When my husband and I first sat down with her for almost two hours, for the first whole hour we talked about our own personal lives, how we met, our future plans, our travels, and initially became just friends over coffee! We loved that Amy truly remembers each one of her couples and does not handle her job as working with just "clients." Her work is absolutely stunning as she has a creative flair with the camera and really captures the true definition of light in your photos. Amy is also very attentive to her couple's needs and questions, as she is always responding back to you in a timely manner leading up to your big day. Our wedding day was definitely a dream come true, and it certainly would not have been the same if it was not captured by Amy, Mekina, and Chelsea. They were always there each moment of our day, had so many great ideas along the way, and you could sense that they loved what they were doing from start to finish! Each were so flexible with our wedding party and our day's events, and even helped make our wedding day run smoothly. We booked Amy's package where she stayed past cake cutting and she certainly stays until the last guest at your wedding is hugged goodbye! We also recommend booking Amy's photo booth on your wedding day, as your guests will definitely enjoy being in front of the camera! We are so excited to see the rest of her beautiful work! Where do I even begin with this amazing and gifted photographer?! Hiring Amy was easily the best decision I made about my entire wedding (oh - aside from marrying the groom of course!).

I think two most important things in choosing a photographer are their work and their personality (you don't want to feel awkward when you're posing for a camera). I knew from her website I loved Amy's work, but I could tell immediately when I met her that her personality made me feel so at ease it was as if we were old friends. When I met Mekina, her second photographer, the day of the wedding I felt the exact same way. They are both just so nice!

Between my engagement & wedding photos, I can't begin to say how many people complimented my pictures...like raved about them (even people I didn't know!). They are truly incredible - there are pictures that capture such special moments where I didn't even know they were present. It takes such a talented photographer to capture such raw emotion like they both do.

Additionally they helped make the wedding day so smooth. They were on top of every event that was happening and knew ahead of time where on the premises we should take pictures. Mekina even helped me with my hair when my headpiece started to fall.

Hiring Amy was the BEST decision I made period. She was absolutely amazing!! She was always on time and professional, and totally flexible from the first meeting and me needing to change the appoitment 20 times, to the day of the wedding when helping solve a very serious dress crisis. She was so calm and collected and positive, and was great at giving subtle direction on how to stand, etc to look amazing in the photo's. I generally am not super photogenic, but I swear I never looked better than in my wedding photo's. Amy captured every detail and the entire feeling of the day. The pictures are STUNNING and I am so thankful that Amy and Mekina were there to photograph our big day. She is worth every penny. Lastly, these girls are both wonderful people in general, and I know I'll stay in touch with them for years to come.

All i can say is that you NEED to pick Amy Rizzuto as your photographer!!! From the first time I met her just a month after getting engaged, I knew that she was the perfect person to photograph my wedding. Amy has a heart of gold, and a true passion for what she does which is capturing real emotion in the most special moments of your big day.

Our engagement session in Grand Central Station and Central Park was so much fun, and I got compliments on the pictures throughout the whole year, and even on our wedding day! On the wedding day itself, Amy and second shooter Mekina were just amazing. My dad said today that it felt like they were part of the family, not just people you hire to photograph your wedding. Amy's intuition about shooting locations and the way she makes you feel so calm and relaxed throughout the whole day is truly a gift. My wedding came across in pictures how I always dreamed it to be :)

Before the wedding ended, Amy put up some of the pictures from the day on a laptop in the ballroom. The reaction from guests was just unbelievable..people coming up to us saying they can't wait to see the rest of them! Amy had one of our pictures up the next morning, and a beautiful blog of so many pictures up within two days set to our wedding song. We can't stop looking at it, and neither can our families, friends, and coworkers.

Any bride and groom would be lucky to use Amy Rizzuto photography. While Amy has a true talent and passion for what she does, it is the warm smiles of her and Mekina that are like a ray of sunshine during a wonderful but chaotic day :)

There is not enough room to write about how wonderful Amy Rizzuto Photography is...Amy and Mekina are beyond talented and are amazing professionals. Amy has the ability to capture not only what is happening but the true feelings of the moment.

Amy is accommodating, thoughtful, responsive and truly treats her clients like they are friends. Our engagement pictures were some of the best pictures I had seen....and then we seen the preview of our wedding pictures! She managed to capture our deepest feelings on this amazing day - you look at the picture and it takes you right back to that moment. Simply amazing work. We can not wait to work with her again for our next milestone. We have found our family photographer!
