She was amazing
The wedding day was extremely hectic, and she was amazing throughout!!! She was super polite with everyone, extremely nice, asked for any preferences we had, worked with me on scheduling, dealt with any hiccups professionally, and was just all around a help and not a hindrance, she didn't add to any of the stress, she worked well even when we were rushing, I couldn't have asked for better!
I told them that I want pictures to share with friends and family, and gave some general direction of what pictures I needed but, given that I had already seen examples of pictures and liked the style of her pictures that I saw, I told her to just go with what she thought would be nice. No regrets there, the pictures we're absolutely beautiful 😊 I really couldn't be happier. Ross was great too!! My husband said he was very personable. Both Amy and Ross were extremely positive, and worked with us on the sort of up-in-air timeline that we had and stayed a bit of extra time more than we'd scheduled.
Price-wise, I really have no idea if they're considered expensive or not; we had (and I apologise for my terrible memory) but anywhere from 4 to 7 hours, that's including the extra time which she said she discounted to a price of 45minutes instead of an hour, and that was $489.00, so I think she's ~$650/hour, but the price in total was $3504.00 and that was including a 20-50 picture album that's supposed to be extremely nice, it's one where the pages are the pictures, there's a specific name for it but I forget the name. Oh AND included in the price was an engagement shoot. There's an engagement shoot that a lot of photographers include in their packages, and usually when I asked about it I was told that the main purpose (besides the pictures) is for the couple and the photographer to get a sense of what each other's I guess vibe is like and for the couple to get comfortable with having their pictures taken. It's supposed to happen before the wedding, but we weren't able to schedule it in before the wedding and she offered to do it afterwards still :) oh and also, we did 2 locations and she offered more locations which didn't affect price. Oh and 2 photographers in case that wasn't obvious.
I'm trying to think of what else I'd want to know about when I was looking, the attitudes of the photographers were positive, they were well priced, the pictures themselves were beautiful (I'll try and upload some general shots without people to show the style), and she almost immediately uploaded quite a few pictures from a variety of points of time of the day, and less than a month later there's ~650 pictures up, with more to come apparently because she's the best. I know some people want to know about number of pictures that are taken, I don't think it affects quality of the pictures, but I do remember that she said she took I think it was something like 1200 pictures, and Ross took pictures as well, but I don't know how many. I don't know what equipment is the good stuff and what's not so good, but I do remember they had some fancy looking equipment, although, I am definitely not a photographer so I wouldn't actually know
Lastly I would like to again say that Amy and Ross were extremely positive and worked with all of the irregularities in the whole experience. I'm Muslim, and the wedding was split into 2 sides, and they were able to work with us on that. Amy is sorting and editing all 1200+ pictures by herself so that only she can see the pictures because we requested only women to do so. For some reason it didn't cross my mind that the people printing the album would need to be women as well, and she was the one who asked me if I wanted the printers to be all female as well. She worked with me on special online sharing album that was a first for her. All around, they were extremely nice, very pleasant, and worked with us. Better than I had hoped, I really really couldn't have asked for better -

Could Not Have Been Happier!!
Honestly - stop your photographer search and email Amy now! We could not have been more impressed with Amy and Ross. When we first starting emailing with them and saw their work, we knew we wanted to work with them. They are both so incredibly talented and have the eye for perfect shots. They also really could not be any nicer than they are! I mean, it rained and was chilly our entire wedding day, and Amy and Ross made us feel an overwhelming sense of calmness while taking our pictures and those of the wedding party. They were completely prepared - plastic to put under my dress for the outdoor pictures so it wouldn't get muddy, Kleenex, and Amy even brought fleece-lined leggings for the bride and bridesmaids. I feel lucky to have met them and worked with them, and look forward to the possibility of working with them in the future. -

Shanley Sent on 09/13/2018Amy and Ross are amazing! I have now worked with them 3 seperate times, and each one has been amazing. The two of them helped make the stress of wedding pictures nonexistent. They made my husband and I, who are not picture people, feel completely comfortable. They are also amazing at working with you to come up with places and types of pictures that you want to see. They also have incredible turn around time, I think I had all of our wedding photos in 2 weeks. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! We love them!

They made us feel comfortable and we had the best time spending the day with them. Not to mention and wonderful photos they captured of Jacob and I that we will cherish forever.

I am so glad we found Amy Mulder Photography for our wedding! I cannot say enough great things about Amy and her husband, Ross. We absolutely LOVE our wedding and engagement photos and Amy and Ross were professional, down-to-earth and so easy to work with from start to finish. They captured every last detail perfectly! -

Nick Sent on 05/09/2018Amy and Ross made our wedding day pictures so easy. Everything was perfectly on time and fun. Amy deftly handled family and family "requests" throughout the evening. The pictures are top notch. Excellent variety and exposure. You can really tell that both Amy and Ross know how to handle their cameras and find the best pictures. Not to mention that their years of experience with wedding photography have lent to them knowing exactly the right type of shots work and don't work.
We loved working with Amy and Ross and would encourage everyone to do so. Don't settle for less! -

Allisa Sent on 04/26/2018These two are incredible! On the day of our wedding they understood and captured everything we wanted and more. They are truely amazing people and phenomenal photographers. As the bride, Amy made me feel like a million bucks all day long which I could not have been more grateful for. Their excitement while capturing our most important moments was infectious. Amy is so excited and passionate about what she does that she had edits for us that night! Within a week all of our photos were posted on their website. The pictures are truely amazing and are something I will be able to treasure for a lifetime. Here we are a month later and I am still getting guests and those from our bridal party telling us how nice they were. Lastly, their prices are very reasonable and in my opinion worth every penny. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

Amber Sent on 04/03/2018Amy and Ross photographed our wedding (and our engagement pictures) and we couldn't be happier with choosing them! They are so kind, funny, and very accommodating people to work with. Not to mention, very reasonably priced for wonderful quality of pictures. They did an amazing job at our wedding and receptions, and it was great to be around them because they were always so pleasant to work with and always had the most positive attitudes. We had a lot of fun getting to know them and always looked forward to seeing them, too. They exceeded our expectations in every way! I will choose them to be our photographers in every future photo opportunity.

Very unprofessional. Un prepared photographer. Lied to me about photography location. Made me and my family very upset with how she was talking to us. When I mentioned to her about how I felt like I looked really faded out because I am a person of color she made me look white washed with how she was editing the photos she ignored me and just sent the photos to my gallery Anyways. Very disrespectful. -

I had the displeasure of meeting Amy during my sister's maternity photoshoot. My sister had her eyes set to take her photos at Magnolia plantation and decided to go with Amy because she claimed to have taken photos here before and also said she would pay the photographers fee (a message Amy has since deleted after this atrocious event). Well the day of the photoshoot comes and I take time out of my day to do my sister's hair before she goes to get her makeup professionally done. Her husband also takes off work and gets the two nieces dressed and ready. Once all the family is dressed we head over to Magnolia. Me and my sister spot Amy already past the ticket booth and wave for her to come over to let the ticket people know we are here for a photoshoot but to no avail. The people inside the ticket booth are confused when my sister says she is with the photographer inside. They say "she never said she was a photographer". Finally Amy comes over and claims that she had paid the fee in the past and starts saying that she was "told by other photographer friends" that the fee was only supposed to be paid once. But if this statement was even slightly true she would have known how the processed worked from buying it the first time and know that photography in the garden is scheduled and requires a fee every single time you go there. She then asserts that she emailed Magnolia about the photography process but never received a response. I believe if she claims to be a professional she also should have done her own research instead of getting her information from a "he said she said" source and also should have persisted to get a response from Magnolia instead of showing up the DAY OF with ZERO correct information. SO, instead of owning up to her mistake and simply paying the photographer fee she continues to spew out excuses, claiming again and again "I didn't know" and "well my friend told me this"; and THEN the REAL kicker is she asks my SISTER to pay the photographer fee even though it was agreed in the messages that Mrs. Mulder would pay it. Amy even suggests that they take pictures OUTSIDE of the garden. After standing outside of the ticket booth listening to excuse after excuse she asks if my sister can split the fee with her and says that she "won't make any profit" after already being paid $500 (the photographer fee was only $150) . After listening to this ridiculously unprofessional behavior we were all very upset but remained cordial with her and I said "This is very unprofessional, it's not my sister's fault that you got wrong information" to which she glared at me. She finally agreed to pay the fee and said "I dont know who everyone is but I won't do this if everyone is mad at me, none of the pictures will come out good that way". After all of this we finally go in to take the pictures and she is straight up wandering around like she has never stepped foot inside of that garden, let alone taken pictures there before like she claimed. After all of the lies and manipulation trying to make my SISTER feel bad for HER complete and utter unprofessionalism the pictures come out faded and unflattering for a person of color so my sister asks for the unedited pictures to which she is denied by Mrs. Mulder saying "that is not how photography and art work". Then like child she continues to text my sister saying not to "bad mouth me to absolutely everyone you come in contact with" and continues with "I did not have a pleasant experience with you at all either". My sister NEVER "bad mouthed" Amy but only shared her honest review of how the nightmare went with a couple of close friends just like how you review any other product or service. Moral of the story is this woman is unprofessional, disorganized, disrespectful, immature, manipulative, a bully, and not so great at her "art". It baffles me how people could leave a good review. Do NOT recommend you go with this lady. You will surely regret it. -
