Simply the Best

We booked AMS at the recommendation of our wedding planner and all I can say is "Thank Goodness!!!". Our DJ, Jose, was so helpful, responsive, understanding, and open to feedback. My husband and I have been in the hospitality industry for years and have seen our fair share of cheesy wedding DJs and we knew that is not what we wanted. Jose listened to our wants/needs and exceeded every single one. He even helped my husband coordinate a group sing as a part of his speech to me, my favorite moment of the night. Can't recommend Jose and AMS enough.

AMS were phenomenal to work with, they provided DJ and lights for our August wedding. The lights set the perfect mood for dinner and the DJ had us dancing all night long. Trina and Tad were a dream to work with helping me throughout the process, even accommodating week of changes to our plan. I would highly recommend them!

We are so glass we had AMS Events part of our wedding day. Prior to our wedding Tad and Trina communicated with us and even set up a meeting to meet us and figure out everything we were hoping to have at our wedding. The staff set us up with everything we asked for and our wedding day turned out amazing. DJ Robbie had everyone out on the dance floor all night long....Thank you so much! Mason controlled the Photo Booth all night and my guests loved all there photos and props. I highly recommended using AMS Events for any of your events! So professional and we did not have one problem before and/or day of the wedding!!!!

We loooved having AMS help run our special day. Their DJ was amazing and really got the crowd moving. They also helped light our venue and made it look so gorgeous. The guests were raving about it all! They were so easy to work with, and made sure everything was personalized for us. I never worried about whether or not things were going to end up the way I wanted them to.

I'm giving Tad, Chawn and Trina 5 stars in all categories because they deserve it! I did not get married at a "normal/official" venue, however they were able to accommodate in every way. Tad met with me at the venue a few weeks before and went over everything for the day of. Trina got back to me via email with any question I had in less than 24 hours. Chawn was a rock star the day of and I had a blast dancing the night away at my wedding. I highly recommend these guys for their professionalism and value. I also rented their photobooth which was a hit and so much fun! Thank you AMS for being involved in the best wedding a girl could ask for.

Tad and his group did a great job when it came to explaining the process, not over selling, and really recommending what made sense for our wedding. You really wont be disappointed in their services from start to finish. I would highly recommend their services!

AMS was so accommodating and willing to work with us! Our DJ was able to set up at our reception location and then run the music and sound at our ceremony location in a very short amount of time. Our DJ was very professional and helped the evening run so smoothly. It was such a relief knowing that they had everything taken care of and we didn't have to micromanage them. They also did the lighting at our reception location which was the perfect addition to our space.

Our only "issue" was playing the wrong version of a song for our processional. Overall they did an incredible job and we were so pleased with their service.

My daughter just got married! We contacted Tad at AMS Santa Barbara and his group was amazing to work with! Tad & Trina worked with me and our budget and made everything so easy. The DJ (Joe) that they connected us with was amazing! He really worked with the bride and groom to bring their vision to life. We all enjoyed working with Joe and he made everything on the day go so smoothly. He brought great energy to the reception and was flexible too. We rented a classic photo booth too and Samantha was great! Our guests really enjoyed the music and taking pics. I highly recommend AMS Entertainment Santa Barbara for your wedding or your next event.

We booked our wedding DJ (DJ Curly) through AMS and he was AWESOME. The service was great and they were very accommodating to playing Croatian music (just needed to provide MP3s). The music was on point all ceremony and the dance floor was in full swing! DJ Curly was able to read the crowd perfectly and made our wedding night full of fun and dancing! Highly recommend AMS for their services & DJ Curly as DJ.

My experience with AMS entertainment was perfection from beginning to end. They were all so attentive and on point. Tad took time to get to know what we wanted as a couple so that he could match us with the DJ that was just right for us. We also chose uplighting that made our reception look so beautiful. DJ Andrew was AMAZING. He was so organized and professional. I am a planner, so I really appreciated the planner that they had us fill out for the reception. It made things run a lot smoother in my opinion. I also really appreciated the attention to detail that everyone at AMS provided us especially when there is so much to think about and so much stress when planning a wedding. They made it as easy as possible and we loved how they made us feel important. It was easy to trust them because they were on top of it and provided excellent service throughout the whole proceds. We had one song request for each guest and DJ Andrew was very open to playing everything our guests wanted. On our wedding day DJ Andrew played a variety of music, which kept the party going and our guests very happy! We got a lot of compliments on the variety of our music thanks to him. We also loved his yellow bow tie! Pretty cool!! I will definitely be recommeding them to my friends and family and will use them for future parties! Thank you AMS!

We hired AMS Entertainment to do our DJ and month-of coordinator. From the beginning, they treated us great. Our DJ was Matt, and he was enthusiastic and helpful along the way. We were most impressed with Vienna, who performed practically perfectly. She was enthusiastic, supportive, coordinated proactively with everything, able to adapt to any changes or suggestions we made (even last minute), and all of our wedding guests who met her told us how much they liked her.

AMS is great! A friend who is in the wedding industry told me about AMS after I had made several calls to day of wedding coordinators and was discouraged by their extremely expensive prices. We only used AMS for a Coordinator but they also can provide DJ's, lighting, etc. We had Natalie Melton as as our Coordinator for our wedding at the SB historical Museum and she was A+! Extremely organized, kind to our family and friends and ensured everything came together. AMS will pair you with a Coordinator based on their availability and your needs, etc (there's a survey you take in the beginning) so that's something you have to be ok with; but for us we simply wanted someone organized to help prior and for the day of & Natalie exceeded our expectations. What's also nice is their Coordinators start working with you a couple of months before, and it's extremely helpful to have this support in the upcoming months to the big day. Great staff and good value. Definitely go with AMS for your wedding coordination needs!

AMS entertainment was the perfect choice for our wedding! Andrew was so helpful with every single detail! His music selection was so much fun and was applicable for every one of my guests. We used DJ Matt Nocas and we was terrific. He completely accommodated our wants and needs. He felt the wedding out and played music that suited to all. Very easy to work with, no overbearing, we were very stoked I met with Matt the week before to go over everything and he's very approachable and understood our desired wedding culture very quickly. Natalie was our wedding coordinator for the entire month before our wedding. I can’t stress enough what a relief it was to have her for this time. She contacted all of our vendors and made sure they all had a day of timeline, which was extremely helpful and something I wouldn’t have thought to do. Natalie is in Santa Barbara and we are in San Francisco, so we met via Skype and phone conversations; she also met with us the night before the rehearsal dinner at our venue so we could walk through how the night would go.
Natalie genuinely cares about your day and will do whatever it takes to make everything go perfectly smooth. I felt completely relieved having her as our coordinator and didn’t worry about anything the day of our wedding. We had décor that we brought from home, which Natalie took care of setting up and packing back up at the end of the night. She had great ideas of where certain things should go, such as the escort card table and sign in table.
The night went extremely smoothly and Natalie was there the entire time to make sure everything stayed on schedule. Even my family members commented the next day that she was fabulous.
Once the night was over Natalie went above and beyond, she took all our gifts and décor back to our room and packed it up perfectly. The sweetest part was that she set up candles, sprinkled flower petals all over the floor, made a heart out of flower petals on the bed, set up flowers all over the room, had a bucket with champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us. It was so romantic and the most amazing thing to come back to after our wedding. I can’t put into words how amazing Natalie is and how I would hire her for every event possible!

We had a great experience with AMS for our May 2016 wedding. We used their DJ, Photobooth, AND Month-Of Coordination services. They gave us a good deal for all the add ons and everything turned out great.

DJ Andrew Burger listened to our requests and did a great job fitting the music with the atmosphere. The dance floor was a popular place!

Photobooth was standard and people had a blast, no complaints there!

Natalie was our day-of (month-of) coordinator and she did a great job with the set up and execution of the day. Everything felt seamless and we didn't have to think of any timeline stuff ourselves...Natalie was always there telling us what we needed to be doing!

Haley Brantley was a godsend to us and our wedding. We only had a month left to tie up loose ends regarding our wedding planning and finding vendors; we were so far behind and stressed out. We were elated with the way that Haley was able to work with us to bring everything together. Open communication was super important to me because before we found Haley, we had hired a coordinator who ignored us for weeks and then sent us an email stating that she couldn't help with our wedding anymore. You can imagine the level of stress we felt. I don't think there was one day that went by, in the final month before our wedding, where we didn't receive a text, email or phone call from Haley. She was on top of everything and made us feel confident in her abilities. I don't think we can put into words how grateful we were to have found her. She was the best money spent on our wedding and it wouldn't have run so smoothly without her.

We could not be more grateful for AMS Entertainment's services. Matt was our DJ and like the previous raving reviews he was everything we read and more. He was very professional and responsive. We were both pretty flexible and open when it came to music and Matt was able to find the perfect mix of everything for the day of. We had a couple unique, crazy requests and he was able to fulfill them perfectly. As a dancing family, we loved it all and kept the dance floor packed the entire time. We were from out of town and only able to meet with Matt once, but from that one meeting we both trusted Matt and we were not wrong. The ceremony, cocktail and reception music was all perfect. I could not recommend AMS Entertainment more highly and in particular Matt. He really did make our day perfect and we could not have anticipated a better a DJ to work with!

The whole team at AMS was incredibly helpful and made the music planning part so easy. Matt was our DJ and he really took the time to get to know us as a couple, as well as get an understanding of our guests, so that he could best fit the music lineup. He was in touch all the way up to the big day, he arrived to the venue early, and helped to manage the timeline of our wedding alongside our onsite planner. Matt is professional, fun to work with, and really created the ultimate party for our guests. I would recommend AMS to anyone and will definitely use them as soon as I have another opportunity.

Working with DJ Matt was a true joy. This was one of the most seamless weddings I have ever worked in my career, and a huge part of that was due to Matt's promptness, his professionalism, and his easy and personal approach to communicating with both the crowd and the bride and groom. He managed all events flawlessly, and with a flexible attitude. The music was excellent, and Matt kept the boisterous crowd dancing all night long. My dj was Andrew Burgher he literally saved our wedding day. He went above and beyond what he had to do for us he found a need location just hours before our wedding bc we were rained out of the other location we were surprised just how much work he did to save our wedding without him we wouldn't have been able to get married that same day. AMS did a great job at my daughter's wedding. We hired them for the DJ services, the Church Musicians (pianist and cellist) and for the day of coordinator.
The day of coordinator, Krista Simundson, I can not say enough about. Her energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism was outstanding! She made us feel like she was having a ball, right along with us. She made my daughter's wedding day go by so smoothly and I felt all day and night I had nothing to worry/think about. Thank you Krista!
The Church Musicians were outstanding! Everyone commented on how great they sounded!! Unfortunately, being the bride's mom and bride - we were not able to hear all the selections, but everyone else's opinion was "outstanding"
The DJ, Andrew, did a fantastic job of keeping everyone on the dance floor. We asked him to go with what he felt would keep the crowd up for we were a little wary of the crowd and how much they would dance. Well, no problem there with Andrew. He had young and old up dancing all night.
Our overall experience with AMS was fantastic and we would highly recommend them to your wedding/event services.

We hired Hayley Hogan from AMS Entertainment to do our day of wedding coordination. We weren't sure we needed a coordinator, but we couldn't have been more wrong. Hayley put together our entire timeline. She took into account all our wishes and adjusted everything accordingly. She confirmed all our vendors, and when our transportation backed out a few days before the ceremony, she saved us by getting us an even better deal with a really great company. She and her assistant helped set everything up--even helping us save some money by setting up our dessert table when we were unable to get the time to do it. She was instrumental in wrangling all of our friends and family for the wedding rehearsal and ceremony. She was incredibly sweet, easy to work with, a great communicator, extremely accessible and available, and completed every task with a great attitude and a smile. Everyone from the bartender to our shuttle driver agreed that she was one of the nicest and most-professional people they had ever had the pleasure of working with. I cannot recommend her enough.

DJ Matt was incredibly professional. From the moment we walked into his office, he made sure he had every little detail correct for our big event, from the spelling of everybody's names in our wedding party, which was fairly large, to the proper pronunciations, to what music we were completely against playing (even if requested) to what we would be okay with playing, to the general vibe of what we were going for. Although my now husband and I like very different styles of music, DJ Matt found the ideal balance between both of us. He was on time, he set up everything himself, and he made sure all our wedding party and guests were having a good time. We knew we had picked the perfect DJ when he used google earth to show us where the equipment would be set up for the venue we had chosen. When we first thought about having a DJ, we weren't sure if we needed the extra cost. Why not just set up an Ipod and hit play every time you need it? Trust us--you need it. People would not have been able to hear our officiant--or our wedding vows if DJ Matt had not miked him and set up the sound for the ceremony. I would highly recommend DJ Matt for any future events--he is the total package.

We are so grateful we found AMS. They found us a guitarist that was spectacular and DJ Matt and our coordinator Courtney who were both perfect. Matt really took the time to plan a playlist that reflected our style. He kept people on the dance floor and held true to what we love to listen to. He was also just such a pleasure to be around. Courtney was so sweet and fun to work with as well. She was on top of every detail. I never felt overwhelmed or concerned because she didn't give me the chance to. We had the most wonderful wedding thanks to AMS. I worked with Haley as my wedding planner and she was awesome! I literally can not count how many emails I sent and she always got back to me, even when she was on a family vacation! She walked me through every step of the process and helped my day go off without a hitch. I found out later that there were actually some small problems that came up day of, but I didn't even know about them! She handled every problem.
AMS also did our lighting which was beautiful and provided our DJ, Brad, who was fantastic! Brad completely understood my vision and my guests and the music was perfect! AMS also helped us find almost all of our other vendors and helped manage all of the different people day of. If you are looking to get married in the Santa Barbara area I HIGHLY recommend AMS and Haley. They are the BEST!

Our DJ Matt was simply outstanding! My wife and I are kind of music snobs and so we were very particular about what sort of music we did and did not want played at our wedding. He was more than understanding and in addition the certain songs requested he also brought quite a few ideas of his own that were in line with what we wanted. But it went way beyond that. He also did an amazing job of working with our coordinator, making the right announcements when it was necessary, and just being an all around fun and cool guy to work with. I can't recommend him enough!

AMS provided us with a DJ and ceremony quartet for our wedding and we are very happy with how everything turned out! The quartet was great and they played beautiful music during the ceremony and cocktail hour. The DJ Brad was great and really set an amazing tone for our wedding, People did not want to leave the dance floor all night and he did such a good job with everything, lots of our guests commented after the wedding that the DJ was great. Brad is the best - he came ahead of time and set up and tested sound to make sure it was perfect and throughout the entire wedding he really went above and beyond. Thank you AMS for bringing us Brad and also for being so responsive and helpful before the wedding too. Very professional and really great value! Highly recommend and ask for DJ Brad if you can!

We were lucky enough to snag DJ Matt and coordinator Vienna for our wedding a couple weeks ago. They were both FANTASTIC IN EVERY WAY!

Music was really important to us, as we like to dance and have more eclectic tastes than the average couple, and so our DJ was a big question mark throughout the whole wedding planning process. We met with Matt a week before the wedding to go over all our requests and details and we immediately felt comfortable and totally taken care of. For the spots we were having trouble, he made great suggestions based on other requests. The night of was perfect... a bunch of classics that our parents and grandparents love (we do too actually :) ) and then a stellar dance party that, thanks to our unique venue, went later than most wedding receptions do. We had an absolute blast and all our guests commented on how great the music was. Matt was an amazing MC and in general, we could not recommend him more to anyone thinking of going with AMS Entertainment.

We were also lucky enough to be assigned Vienna as our coordinator. Originally we were going to go with day-of, but as the nitty gritty details started piling up, we upgraded to the month-of package. I am so relieved we did this! Vienna was amazing. In our initial conversation, she asked some really pertinent questions that made me think hard about the type of ambiance we wanted to create. Throughout the entire process, Vienna was kind, thoughtful, attentive, efficient, and great with follow-up both with my to-do items and with my vendors. As a previous event planner myself, I was most worried about being stressed the day of about the details like decor, flowers, signs, etc. Vienna handled everything so smoothly and with such great taste that it turned out to be a completely stress-free and totally fun and love-filled day for us and for our friends and family.

DJ Matt and Vienna were essential to pretty much having the BEST DAY EVER, which is what your wedding should be. SERIOUSLY!

DJ Matt was our DJ for our wedding at Bacara. He was FANTASTIC!!! We live in Texas and he worked around our schedule to make time to meet with us in person before the wedding so we could go over details and so he could custom tailor our playlist to our liking. He was professional, flexible and knowledgeable. He was able to make our reception everything we envisioned and more to please us as well as our guests. DJ Matt was our DJ for the wedding and he was awesome! From listening to our every need and want, to coming up with a specialized patriotic playlist while we watched fireworks, to keeping our party going until the last song, he far exceeded our expectations. He understood the "vibe" we wanted our wedding to have and hit the nail on the head.
We also used AMS for lighting and the Edison - style light bulbs were a perfect touch to our outdoor venue. We used coordinator Natalie and she was phenomenal. Everyone commented on how seamless the day was (and on-schedule) and it was all because of her! She made my wedding week/ day relaxing- which is a hard feat to do. We accidentally stumbled upon AMS and we are SO HAPPY that we did! They were flexible with packages, prices were completely reasonable, and they were so unbelievably great to work with from start to finish. Tad was so helpful to get us the services that we needed up front and didn't try to over-sell everything else on the planet. Our coordinator, Haley, made life so easy, especially Day-Of...we didn't have to worry about a thing! And our DJ, Andrew, was on-point! People had a blast and we had so many comments on how great the music was. Andrew worked with us to keep our vision and our tastes while keeping everyone dancing from start to finish! DJ Andrew was the perfect wedding DJ! At 10:30 when the music had to be shut off, the dance floor was PACKED and everyone was having the time of their lives! We were so pleased with AMS, specifically Andrew, as the DJ for our wedding. Andrew worked with us from the beginning and was very responsive, very accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. We actually paid him extra to "mix" two custom songs for us, one for our first dance and one for our mother-daughter dance. The songs were GREAT and it was such a special memory. We live in San Diego and he made the whole communication/meeting process painless: email, phone, being available anytime we were in town, etc. During the reception he was very in tune with the guests, playing similar types of songs when people liked them and switching it up if people weren't dancing. He wasn't "on the mic" a lot which was what we asked for but was communicating with us throughout the event about timelines and anything else we needed to know which was perfect!

This was arguably the best money spent on our wedding. Initially my husband and I went with AMS Entertainment when we were looking for a DJ and decided to hire one of their wedding coordinators as well.

Wedding Coordinator
Haley Brantley, was, simply put, amazing. She took care of all the details. Up until we hired her, we had all the necessary parts in place—carterer, florist, ceremony and reception halls, etc.—but we had no idea how it would all come together. Haley stepped in and made the day happen. Seriously my husband and I breathed easier the moment she took over. And after our wedding, I had multiple family members and friends mention how impressed they were that the wedding went without a hitch. I’d recommend Haley in a heartbeat to anyone considering a wedding coordinator.

Seriously best DJ ever! This can probably be said for all of AMS Entertainment’s DJs. They do it differently to maximize guests’ involvement at the reception. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and even my husband’s 70 year old second cousin came out and danced with us. Brad did an amazing job orchestrating the dances, the toasts, and playing music that our guests enjoyed.

I can’t speak highly enough of this company! Beyond excellent service!

Tad and the AMS team really made our one of the best we've ever had. They had just the right things we were looking for to go with our Surf Themed reception. A Woody Surf Wagon, Wave façade w/surfboard and big shot camera for our guests was a total hit! A beach ball volleyball court and cornhole/beanbag toss were also added and make the event so much fun! AMS Entertainment is AMAZING!!! they are reasonably priced and insanely easy to work with. During the crazyness of planning a wedding on your own, AMS is a breath of fresh air. My first interaction was with Tad who took the time to have a detailed conversation with me. I then worked with Hayley. Haley set up all of the services and served as my account manager essentially. Then there was the wedding helper, Amber...Amber is/was/will be fantastic. AMS bundles services the more you do with them and Amber as your day of coordinator / helper is worth every cent. She was so awesome that guests at the wedding loved her!!! 2 days before the wedding I needed a way to hang drape for our ceremony. AMS stepped up, added it on, I had a friend drop of the drape and it was installed perfectly on wedding day. I sat it and forgot it and AMS took care of it...WORRY FREE!!!!!! If you're needing DJ, Lighting, Rigging (pipe/base) and Planners or Coordinators, AMS is where you need to go. You will not be disappointed in the least. I got to enjoy my wedding because I worked with AMS.

Now that the wedding dust has settled, I wanted to write a review praising AMS, in particular our awesome wedding coordinator/planner Courtney and our DJ, Brad.

Courtney is by far one of the hardest workers I have EVER met. We could not have gone through the wedding day without her. She set up everything, and just took care of stuff. The day after the wedding, I woke up to all of my vases being packed up along with all wedding paraphernalia stocked away. I didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day, as Courtney took care of us. She was really so amazing! I was super impressed with her get it done and take care of it attitude. I knew that if anything went awry she would figure out a way to fix it and I wouldn't even know:)

Brad did an awesome job DJ'ing the event. My husband and I didn't leave the dance floor once! And so many people said "Your DJ was awesome!" People also commented that when older people weren't on the dance floor he would pick out a tune to bring them back on, and then same for all ages!

AMS has a stellar team of really hard workers and just awesome people in general. Out of all of our vendors, we were most impressed with AMS. I will absolutely refer AMS in the future as the level of service they provided was superior to all others.

AMS Entertainment was incredible! My husband and I worked with Haley, who served as our month-of coordinator for our wedding this August. She was extremely professional, responsive, and made sure we were able to relax and enjoy every moment of the day. When a couple hiccups occurred on the day of, she kept us calm and was 100% solutions-oriented. One of the best moments of the day was when the blackberries in my bouquet smeared all over the top part of my dress. I was panicking (obviously - who puts whole edible berries in a bride's bouquet) and she came to the rescue with a Clorox Bleach Pen and a huge smile! The dress was saved and the entire night was a complete success -- big thanks to Haley!

We also worked with DJ Daz who was similarly incredible! He took all of our suggestions to heart, and made sure we heard the songs we wanted to hear at the reception. More importantly, he was flexible and was able to change things on the fly when I visited his DJ post throughout the night and made some suggestions ;). My guests were party-animals and gave him TONS of crazy requests, and he was able to handle everything professionally. So many of our guests complimented the music (he blended old school songs with contemporary beats -- it was awesome!), and the dance floor was packed the entire time.

I couldn't recommend AMS Entertainment more for your wedding day :)!

I used AMS for my wedding planner, DJ, photobooth & lighting. Although the photobooth & lighting were wonderful, what really stood out was my planner and DJ. Both were exceptional!
Haley made my wedding day better in every way. She has great ideas and input, wonderful connections, lots of knowledge of the area, and a firm grasp on what it is to be an amazing wedding planner. Her attention to detail is exactly what you want in a wedding planner. All of my ideas Pinterest ideas came to life because of her. When it rained on my wedding day, in July, in Santa Barbara (what?!) she took charge, giving me a plan B immediately, but also calming my nerves. Both my husband and I still talk about how our wedding went off without a hitch, because of Haley. If you're looking for a planner, you've found her. Just meet her and I know you'll love her.
Alex was our DJ and again I have such high praises for him. He gave us a lot of great options for songs but also listened to exactly what we wanted and played it. His introductions were perfect, he kept the wedding moving, and had a smile on his face the entire time. Needless to say, my husband and I never left the dance floor, every song was our favorite song. Actually, there were so many people on the dance floor all night, that I decided to skip a few thing just because I didn't want to stop the dance party. Alex listened to exactly what we wanted and made it happen.

AMS was really great to work with for our wedding. They do a very through consultation with you about what you want - they even came to the venue which was a private home where no wedding had ever taken place and gave all kinds of advice about things we can do (including ways to keep it affordable!). Our wedding was very do-it-yourself and they offered a lot of guidance in areas that didn't ever pertain to them. I really feel they contributed to making the day go smooth and fun.

From the first initial consultation to the day of, they are very communicative, they check up on you, they make sure everyone is on the same page. We used them for lighting (which looked AMAZING), DJ (who listened very carefully about what kind of music we wanted), and the photobooth - which was the absolute hit of the wedding. Everyone there is very nice, helpful and they really seem to care about what you want, and work with you in every way to make it happen.

My husband and I used AMS Entertainment for our Santa Barbara wedding in July 2014. AMS was wonderful and easy to work with from day one up through the wedding day and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Early in the process, we met with Tad and discussed our music likes, dislikes and how we envisioned our wedding going. After our meeting, Tad paired us up with DJ Brad Vickers, who was extremely professional, fun and exactly what we were looking for. We were able to customize our music for the entire ceremony online and then got a chance to talk to Brad on the phone (we live out of town so meeting up was difficult for us). Talking with him was great because he was able to get to know us and we got to know him. He also got a feel for what we wanted our wedding day to sound like.

Brad was easy going, gave helpful suggestions and most important, he kept the party going and the crowd dancing all night. The night went extremely smooth and it’s because Brad did such a wonderful job as our DJ. We would highly recommend AMS and Brad for any event you are planning!

Lighting, DJ and day of Helper/Coordinator were amazing! The lighting was so sweet and romantic and added exactly what we needed to transform the space. Alex, our DJ, was great at capturing our vision for our wedding reception/party. Our DJ, Andrew, from AMS Entertainment played such a crucial role in our wedding! I loved that he dressed perfectly for the occasion and facilitated the reception with quick announcements. AMS played such an essential role in making our wedding the best day of our lives! Initially I wanted to talk to AMS about providing lighting, sound and a DJ for our event. We had a rather large wedding so we knew this was important. After meeting with Tad, who was so professional, knowledgable and cool, and discussing all that AMS could provide, we quickly realized we would use multiple of their services. We added on a day of planner and a cigar roller. Throughout the planning process, Haley our planner, was above and beyond amazing. She made me feel very calm, and organized during such a stressful time. She crossed every 't' and dotted every 'i'. She met with me several times before the big day and was very very on top of every detail. I felt as though I was her only client. AMS made me feel like everything was taken care of, and it was. From the beginning of contact AMS, everyone was great. Haley was a great contact and always made sure to give me reminders and responded to emails very quickly. I was able to meet with my DJ beforehand....DJ Daz....and he was AWESOME!!! He was down to earth and very professional. He knew exactly what kind of atmosphere I wanted for my wedding. Haley was a great point of contact through out the process of finding the right entertainment. We had a very strong idea of the type of live music we wanted played and AMS was able to find the right musicians for our tastes. Brad the DJ was very patient in talking through different music types, countering some of our suggestions for the best and making other great choices on the fly. He read the crowd and kept everybody dancing. We also rented a photo booth which was greatly enjoyed by all guests. The price overall was spot on to our budget and we felt there was great value for the services provided.
We recommend AMS to any couple.

We used AMS for our DJ, lighting and photo booth and had a great experience working with them from beginning to end! Both Tad and Haley were great to work with, very responsive and extremely accommodating. They went the extra mile to understand our wedding vision and were always eager to help us!

Our DJ was Andrew Burgher and he was great--very easy to work with, enthusiastic and responsive. He not only took the time to meet with us to go over day-of details, but he kept checking in to answer questions and touch base, which was very much appreciated. On the wedding day, he was very personable, played all our favorite music and helped to create a really fun atmosphere.

We were so grateful to AMS in helping us find the right band for our son's rehearsal dinner. Since it was just a dinner without a dancing element to the event we were looking for fun, great background music. We really liked country Band 3 and were a little hesitant as their demo video showed great stage presence and a terrific sound. Our venue did no allow for a stage or a "big" sound. That being said --they adjusted beautifully and everyone loved their music. As the dinner came to a close despite the space limitations people wanted to dance and did. We wish we had had a larger venue and could have stayed longer as all I heard the next day was" where did you find that great band, they were terrific, and so much fun". I would certainly engage this group again. Although we did not have any, they did inquire prior to the event if we had any special requests, something I thought was a great idea. They are all great musicians, who knew how to read the party and make it that much more fun for everyone. The female vocalist was terrific!! GREAT JOB!

When planning our Santa Barbara wedding, we quickly realized that we needed a full-service entertainment company to help us figure things out! AMS was amazing. I had Guy as my DJ and he was perfect. He adjusted to the needs of my guests a d made sure I had everything that I needed. He had so many ideas for me when I was lost on what to do.

I had Haley as my coordinator and I couldn't of asked for anything more. She took care of everything and made sure I was we'll taken care of. She handled everything for me so I never had a doubt that it was going to be perfect.

Overall AMS was amazing. It was nice to have a company that offered so many different services. Everything was better than I expected and I would definitely use them again!

We actually held a high school reunion.
AMS Entertainment and our DJ Robert were very professional to deal with. Our DJ was also polite and very helpful. He was well prepared, had great equipment, worked well with our MC and committee chair (me), so that we got just what we had envisioned, which help make our reunion a success.
Fantastic job and I would highly recommend this company for events.

We were very happy with our choice to go with AMS entertainment. We used AMS for a guitarist, DJ for the reception, photo booth and planner. We liked that we had one central point of contact for multiple vendors.

Our guitarist, Chris gave us the romantic ambience we wanted during the ceremony and cocktail hour. He learned several songs at the last minute which we were so grateful for!

DJ Andrew was our perfect DJ. He picked up on the vibe of the crowd and played music that kept the energy up. We had a crowd that wanted to dance all night and DJ Andrew kept everyone on the floor.

Our photobooth was such a blast, I wouldn't have thought that it would have been as much of a hit as it was. I would definitely recommend that is on the fence about getting one, go for it!

Haley, our planner, was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. Once we handed over the reins to Haley a couple weeks before the wedding we could relax and enjoy our wedding - with friends and family in town we were able to enjoy their company and not have to run around town stressed about the details. She was our one point contact for all of our vendors and it felt great knowing that she had all the bases covered. On the day of Haley took care of everything, the day went off without a hitch and I know she worked her booty off to make that happen. Thank you Haley for everything!

We are so happy that we went with AMS for so many of our services! From the moment I talked to Tad, I knew that this would be the right group to work with! Tad, Haley, and Cynthia were so responsive to everything that we needed. Every request that we added for our wedding, they were quick to accommodate!
Our DJ, Andrew, was awesome! We met with him about a month before our wedding to go over all of our music requests. He made sure that he knew exactly what we wanted. During the wedding, he kept the energy up and everyone stayed on the dance floor all night! The wedding was totally about us and the vibe that we wanted...it was never about Andrew (some DJs can make it all about themselves).
Diane was our day of wedding planner, but she really helped us throughout the process. She made sure she contacted every vendor and knew exactly what they were supposed to provide for us. We had to make a last minute time change, and she handled the change so easily. She contacted every vendor to arrange the switch. The day of the wedding was so smooth. Everything was perfect! Diane was so kind to everyone and she made sure she made me comfortable and every guest there. She knew how to put the final touches on things to make all of our ideas come to life. Our day just wouldn't have been the same without her!
Tricia was our photobooth operator. She was so much fun! I think the photobooth was full all night! Our guests had a blast! Tricia was so sweet and kind to every guest! We loved all the pictures that everyone put in our scrapbook and we will cherish the memories! Tricia also helped make sure that all the details fell into place and that we got exactly what we wanted on our wedding day.
Overall, we feel like AMS contributed greatly to our perfect day!

Haley Brantley you are awesome! Thank you for being there for me on my day. Everything was seamless, and beyond my expectations. She was my Wedding Coordinator. She took charge, and was in contact with all of my vendors. My wedding ran into a few hiccups as any does, and she completely saved the day! My guests were impressed by her candor and professionalism.

Our DJ, was also exceptional! DJ Alex, thanks for playing the music I wanted. You suggestions and personality set the perfect mood. My guests loved the music and mood you created. I highly recommend using AMS they know how to throw a great Wedding!

I couldn’t have had a better experience with their service. It was truly AWESOME. They were all very professional, on top of the details and I loved the reminders and follow ups during such a busy time. My meeting with Brad prior to the wedding was absolutely what I needed! I was feeling very anxious about all the details by that point and he was so calm, confident and knowledgeable about both music aspect as well as other details that I left knowing everything would be great! Plus, he had some wonderful ideas and suggestions that eased the planning for me. In addition, he seemed to really CARE! This was going to be the day of my dreams and I could tell it mattered to him as well as Haley that it was all I wanted it to be!

The reception was the most beautiful ever. Everything from Cold Springs Tavern venue to AMS's DJ services were perfect. Brad did an AMAZING JOB. The music mix was perfect. He was so careful to know the “plan”…he checked in with people to make sure they were relaxed and knew their part…he was just great. I am so grateful to AMS. It was such a profoundly unique and special day and their contribution was key.

AMS went beyond our expectations. They made things very easy for us during a stressful time. We could't be happier with our DJ, he was such a pleasure to work with and made our wedding so much fun. DJ Andrew was spectacular. He took care to help execute the wedding I envisioned and took the time to pick out music I specifically asked for. During the dinner for example, I wanted smooth jazz playing in the background. I had a few artists I definitely wanted to hear from but no "master playlist" or anything so I asked Andrew to research and play some hit songs from the artists I gave him. He did a spectacular job researching that for me and coming prepared. I think music is key at a wedding (and I'm sure most people would agree!) so he really helped carry out my vision for the wedding and I really appreciate it.

Diane the "wedding helper," which I would describe as a "day-of" wedding coordinator also did an amazing job. I hired her for not only the day of but for the wedding rehearsal the day before and I think she did a great job coordinating the paces and places at my rehearsal. She also was invaluable the day-of, setting up my wedding and ensuring specific errands were done smoothly, such as transferring my ceremony flowers to be reception centerpieces. One of the things I'm most grateful to Diane for, was setting up and tying 45 chair sashes and chair covers i rented! The vendor doesn't do installations for orders under 100 but Diane came to the rescue and set them all up for me beautifully the day of, which was great because as everyone knows, on the day of the wedding, there's no way a bride has time herself to spend 1 hour setting up chair covers and sashes!

Lastly, Candlelight Strings came with my ceremony package. They were a wonderful string quartet and beautifully performed all the songs I requested. Great job and thank you!

Lastly just wanted to thank Tad for helping negotiate my wedding package for all the above services. He was willing to work with my budgets and make tweaks and adjustments until I had the services I need but within the price range I was looking for. Very nice to work with!

As the Event & Sales Director at the SB Polo & Racquet Club, I host events daily. From 1,000 guests who come out to Sunday polo to member events, weddings and benefit galas. Tad at AMS is my go-to guy for all my entertainment needs. From a Friday After Polo party requiring a DJ and photo booth to a more upscale party requiring a band (Invier is great!), they have everything. Even better is that all their DJs, photo booth attendants and staff are friendly and delightful to be around not to mention talented and easy to work with. I would highly recommend AMS to anyone looking to have top notch entertainment that is reliable too!

We are so happy to have AMS Entertainment of Santa Barbara on our preferred vendor list! We had an event last minute and AMS took so much weight off our shoulders to find entertainment. Within 48 hours they had a band and dancers which made our event a night to remember. The band was electric and no one could leave the dance floor. The dancers were so professional and got the crowd involved from the first song to the last. AMS Entertainment of Santa Barbara will always be our first choice for entertainment!

Working with AMS was wonderful. Our original DJ got into an accident the day before the wedding (he ended up being fine!), and AMS easily found us an alternate, who was fantastic. Both DJs we interacted with were professional and understood what we wanted from them. I would recommend this vendor to anyone.

Guy, our DJ, was amazing to work with. We had some last minute additions and changes to which he responded quickly and effectively. The playlist shook our booties off! Comments from our constituents were that it was most fun event that our group has ever done! The casino tables were run professionally and were a great hit/addition to the party!

Our ceremony musician, Chris Judge, was amazing and completely amazed us and our guests by his beautiful music.

AMS Entertainment was great. I am the Internal Social Chair of a UCSB Sorority, in charge of planning our Date Parties. AMS provided us with two caricature artists for the night. It was a huge hit! The girls and their dates enjoyed the option to get drawn on their dancing down time and the artists were personable and hilarious. They really made everyone excited to get drawn! We definitely will be using AMS Entertainment for all other Date Parties in the near future. Great company and I highly recommend it!

AMS provided lighting and a ipod-pluggable speaker system for our wedding at Elings Park. They were quite easy to work with and everything they provided worked perfectly well. The string lighting was really nice looking and exactly what we were hoping for, and the speakers worked well too. Set-up and take-down required no micro-management from us.

AMS gave us a package deal that was unparalleled. By packaging our DJ, Lighting and entertainment (casino gaming), we were able to get a an amazing deal. The office staff as VERY helpful, and the onsite coordination and direction give by the DJ was exactly what our party needed. The best part of it all, was their anticipation of things that were to come. We did not need to urge the DJ to do anything, everything went according to plan, and it was NO stress to those that planned the event. Great work!

The party was a great success! My guests participated by mixing and adding songs to the DJ Kit from AMS and found music easily. The equipment was easy to assemble and transport, especially thanks to the demonstration I was given upon pick-up. I would recommend AMS for its quality and customer service.

From our first consultation with Tad Clark, to our online DJ platform tutorial with Saul, we were extremely impressed with how AMS' services were executed from day one.

The process began by use of an impressive AMS proprietary tool which served as an online music planner. We were able to organize the ceremony music, cocktail reception music, and dinner reception music onto a tabbed interface, where we could highlight "must play" songs, and where we could ban songs via a "no play" list. There was a special place to add special notes and nuances, and even a timeline organizer that allowed us to illustrate our vision of the day to our DJ. It was almost like the coming together of kindred spirits... when we met Guy McLaury on the day of our wedding. For some reason... he fit - In attire, style, and musical discretion, Guy was an important feature in the landscape of our wedding. He took time to ensure that he knew how to correctly pronounce the names of each member of our wedding party. He knew what music to play to get people to dance, and he knew what music to play to keep them dancing. When it came time to facilitate important moments such as the father/daughter dance and MOH/BM speeches, his transitions were seamless... and it made the traditional aspects of our wedding flow at just the right pace. Overall, excellent service, an attentive staff, and fist-pumping music. I highly recommend working with these folks!

Our DJ was Umair from AMS Entertainment and he was awesome! He always had a smile on his face and his energy carried through in his DJing at our event. He played all the songs we requested and got everyone on the dance floor. This was an overall great experience working with him and we would gladly recommend him to friends and family for future events.

Planned to have Mariachis at my wifes Birthday bash as a surprise. They were fantastic, flexible, went along with the surprise, played all the great songs, and even let my 4th grade cousin play along on his violin for a song. I would absolutely recommend AMS for any event

Hi Brides,
We got married a few weeks ago. We were in a lighting and dance floor pinch--as in the vendor we planned on using was not going to work. AMS Entertainment responded to us on a Saturday and was able to organize our lighting for the Monday coming up (Also known as 48 hours of notice). The were kind, professional, and strived to meet our budget on NO notice. We were thrilled and our wedding was perfectly lit (an outdoor venue in the evening). They transformed our out door venue into a dreamily lit fabulous venue. HIGHLY recommended.

I was AMAZED with AMS! First off they were flexible and worked with my needs. They were responsive and made trips out to my venue to assess for lighting. The DJ made the party, all night and weeks after just compliment after compliment on how beautiful the lighting was and how fun the dancing was. The DJ literally had everyone on the dance floor! He worked with what I wanted and met ALL my needs! I have been to my share of weddings, and two now, including my own where AMS provided the DJ services and it is the most fun I have had! Alex was my DJ and he is friendly, professional, and was a highlight of my wedding! If you don't have there service your wedding and experience will miss out! SO SATISFIED!!

AMS did a great job with helping us plan our event. I love that they are a "one stop shop"- they sourced all our vendors and met at the event location early to oversee set-up. Jay dee-jayed our event and really did a great job getting everyone pumped. He facilitated everal picnic style games as well (watermelon eating contest, tug-o-war, etc) and was able to get great participation. I would definitely recommend Jay and AMS to anyone!
