My wife and I can't recommend Mike with Amplified events enough, he was so easy to work with and open to our vision for what we wanted at our wedding reception! We even had a few specific music requests for intros and various other things that he was more than willing to accomodate for. The app that they use is super easy and user friendly as well and made selecting music leading up to the reception very simple and stress-free. Mike and Cole brought the energy all night and the packed dance floor reflected that. We had several people come up to us at various points complimenting what a great job they did. Again, cannot recommend Mike and Amplified enough!

If you’re even thinking about booking them do it. Immediately. Run, don’t walk. Your future self (and your dance floor) will thank you. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ team for our wedding. The ceremony went perfectly from volume levels, sound cues, and mic levels. Then came the reception where they absolutely crushed it!! The whole day was handled perfectly.
Micah was incredible at reading the room and keeping the dance floor full the entire night. Every transition was smooth, every song was a banger, and the momentum never dropped
The mixing from start to finish was spot on with no awkward gaps or weird transitions. Since the wedding, we’ve had compliment after compliment from guests saying it was the best dance floor music they’ve ever experienced, which says a lot.
We’re attaching some photos, and honestly they speak for themselves. You can see how packed the dance floor was and how much fun everyone was having all night!
Overall, just an amazing experience and a huge part of what made the night so memorable. If you’re even thinking about booking them do it. Immediately. Run, don’t walk. Your future self (and your dance floor) will thank you.

We loved working with Joe at Amplified Events! From planning to the wedding day, he was organized, communicative, and made everything seamless. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception flowed perfectly, and once dancing started, the energy never stopped. He read the room so well and kept the dance floor packed all night — we got so many compliments from guests!
We also loved the photobooth and are so glad we added it. Now we have amazing photos from the night to look back on forever. Highly recommend Joe and Amplified Events!

Awesome DJ!
Amplified Events was absolutely amazing! Mike kept the dance floor alive all night and made sure everyone had the best time. He was easy to work with, receptive of our needs, and happily accommodated our request for Lebanese music. The mix of Lebanese and American hits was perfect and kept the energy going nonstop. We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Amplified Events! From the very beginning, their professionalism and work ethic stood out. Communication was seamless throughout the entire planning process—they were always quick to respond, super organized, and incredibly easy to talk to.
They took the time to understand our vision for the day and went above and beyond to accommodate every request, big or small. Whether it was adjusting the playlist, timing special moments, or handling last-minute changes with ease, they were incredibly flexible and supportive.
The energy they brought to our reception was amazing! Our guests had a fantastic time, and the dance floor stayed packed all night. On top of that, we also booked their Photo Booth, which was a huge hit! It added such a fun element to the evening, and the quality of the photos was top-notch.

Jacob performed excellently
Jacob had such a handle on the event throughout the duration that you could have told me that despite him not yet being 30, he had been a wedding DJ for 40 years. He was adaptive to changes, responsive to requests, maintained the exact vibe we wanted throughout.
It took little effort for us to explain exactly what we wanted as he was able to understand nearly immediately. All in all, it was a great experience. Thank you, Jacob!

Such a great DJ
We hired Amplified for our wedding this past weekend and Chris DJ'd our wedding! We could not have asked for a better DJ. Everything ran incredibly smooth, he was great at managing the music at our outdoor reception, MC-ing the night, fielding song requests from guests based on what we wanted for our dance floor, and thanks to him, our dance floor was packed for the whole night! We also got a photobooth from them that our guests loved!

Chris Zart DJ'd our wedding this past Friday and we cannot recommend him enough! He was super helpful in the planning process. Easy to communicate with. He had all the timing down and knew what needed to happen throughout the day! He threw in a photo booth the day of for us, and it was absolutely the biggest hit of the night. People raved about it. Many people said that it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to, and a lot of that has to do with the DJ keeping people on the dance floor and entertained throughout the night! Dancing the night away!

The Perfect Wedding DJ Experience
I want to take a minute to thank Amplified Events for making my wedding day so special and fun for all of my guests! Mike took every song on my playlist and added in a few more I hadn't thought of that were perfect additions to an already fire set list, sequenced everything so perfectly and gave the dance floor an energy that had everyone moving from the first song to the last dance. The photo booth was a huge hit and the pictures we have from it are now beautiful keepsakes and will serve as reminders of how much fun all of our guests had! The lighting on the floor was gorgeous and set the tone for a night of love, laughter, music, and dancing, and I cannot thank Amplified Events enough for helping everything run so smoothly and seamlessly. Electric dance floor
The dance floor energy that Mike and Jeff create is truly unmatched. They have a real talent for knowing how to sequence your song requests, how much of a song to play, and how to read the room. Mike went above and beyond to help us create cuts of our first-dance song and mother-son song and even gave me the opportunity to pick my top priority songs for the last 30 min of the night from my requested songs that hadn't been played yet (which he had been diligently crossing off throughout the night). The price point is super reasonable and our guests could not stop raving about how it was the most packed wedding dance floor they ever experienced. We cannot recommend Amplified Events enough! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Mike and Jeff for the electric wedding dance floor of our dreams!!!

We worked directly with Mike on planning & DJ'ing our wedding at the Dunes Pavilion in Chesterton. Mike was incredibly easy to work with and flexible in our wedding planning. His planning app helped us to set our own timeline of events and coordinate each event. Two things really stood out about working with Amplified Events was the extent that Mike was able accommodate our desired flow and make last minute adjustments. Our outdoor ceremony was weather dependent and we had to make a last minute decision. Mike was easily able to accommodate an outdoor ceremony for us. During the remainder of the reception he kept a great flow of music going based on our initial playlists and kept all of our Philly area guests up to date on the Phillies scores. His DJ equipment is sleek and modern so it blends in super nicely with any venue and looks fresh and polished. Would 10/10 recommend working with Mike and his team.

I will be recommending Amplified Events, specifically Mike Kane, to everyone! Mike was our wedding DJ and he was so so great! We had multiple consultations to go over everything we wanted and he fulfilled every single wish at a VERY reasonable price! The music and lighting was absolutely gorgeous. Mike was also so accommodating the day of - bringing me and my husband water and letting me use his portable fan because it was so hot out! He helped move the ceremony chairs so we could get pictures started right away. He was just phenomenal. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Amplified Events played a huge role in that! The best dj ever!
Mike is INCREDIBLE. I am a photographer and let me tell you I am picky as heck. I had two issues with two DJs prior to going with Mike. Mike fixed all those issues and made sure I felt comfortable. He even included a surprise for me the day of to make up for my horrid experience with other DJs. Music is such an important part of my day and Mike made mixes for me and helped with his program which is unbelievably easy to add songs to! I honestly have never met a nicer and more professional DJ. He's so fun and so communicative. He had everyone on the floor all night and didn't guilt me for wanting the songs I want. DJs with a personal touch
Can not recommend Mike and his team MORE. My wife and I were struggling to find a DJ that we felt connected with us and the experience we wanted to have for our wedding. To be honest, there are a lot of big heads in the DJ world, but Mike was extremely warm, open, and easy to talk to leading up to the day, always pressing that it was our moment and he was there to support our vision more than anything, and that was just the planning phase! Day of, Mike was easy going and quick witted, keeping the music flowing and the people dancing. He even picked up on subtle inside jokes between my wife in I during our ceremony that he brought back into the reception giving it even more of an "us" vibe. Honestly can't say enough about how great he was. 10/10.

Amazing Experience
Mike and his team at Amplified were so helpful in planning and executing an amazing ceremony and reception. The music was perfect and kept the entire wedding crew dancing all night long. They were super-accomodating for any special requests and made the night so easy for us. We cannot recommend Mike/Amplified enough if you are looking to have a great reception that people are raving about for years to come!

Amazing DJ, great company!
I couldn't have been more happy with Jon and his assistant from Amplified Events! We're not big dancers, and we had a morning/day wedding, so we didn't want a dance party. Also, our music tastes really aren't your typical pop/dance songs (I specifically put some of the more popular songs I've heard at weddings on the no-play list). At the same time, I didn't want guests to be bored, and I knew some of them would like to have dancing, so I was a bit worried about how things would turn out. Jon did an amazing job at selecting songs for the entire day based on the limited list I gave him for "must play" and "play if possible." He played some songs I hadn't heard in years but that used to be some of my favorites (I was super excited about that!), and he played songs that fit our genres and that also got people dancing. Everything was perfect, everyone had a great time, and Jon was a big part of bringing it all together! Finally, we had to delay our wedding twice because of covid. We're grateful to Mike Kane for being so accommodating and making the rescheduling as stress-free as was possible given the circumstances!

Best Wedding DJ!
We had such a great experience with Amplified Events! Mike was quick to respond to any of our questions and helped us pick the best package for our wedding! Our DJ Jon was wonderful and kept such a perfect flow of music to keep everyone out on the dance floor! We also loved using the Salsa Booth and our guests had a great time with it! We would definitely recommend the Amplified Events team and are so grateful we had them for our reception!

Awesome DJ!!
I can’t say enough great things about Mike and Amplified events. Our wedding was at Sand Creek Country Club this past summer and he was one of the vendors that was recommended by them.
He had plenty of expert advice on what would make the ceremony, timeline, walk outs, speeches, and dances run the most smoothly but was also super open to any ideas we had of our own. He was detail-oriented which made us feel confident about how things would turn out and we were never left feeling like we didn’t know what was going on. He was timely with all of his responses and always made our concerns feel valid.
On the day of the event, everything went off without a hitch. At one point, my mom got up to say a few words and forgot her reading glasses. She started to stumble and became nervous as most people would. Mike slipped right in to help her read without taking any of the spotlight from my mom. He’s a true professional and that meant so much to all of us.
We received the most compliments about our DJ/Music compared to any other vendor (by far).Everyone had such a blast.
Also the photo booth - just do it. It’s 1000% worth the memories and hilarious pictures.

Jeff was our DJ and he was AWESOME! He communicated with me prior to the event to assure things would run smoothly. Amplified Events uses a cool music platform to allow you to pick out songs to fit your occasion. Amplified Events stepped up at the last minute when the previous DJ was not able to do the event. It went extremely well!

Michael Kane and his team are phenomenal!! He was so “go with the flow” during the COVID craziness of our wedding. He was always accessible and willing to answer any questions we had. Long story short - you should book Amplified Events for your event. They were, BY FAR, the most reasonably priced DJ we spoke with. On top of that, they were absolutely wonderful to work with. Mike was incredibly responsive with contract-related and preliminary discussions. Our DJ was Jacob, and he played the perfect combination of songs that kept our guests on the dance floor. You cannot go wrong with choosing Amplified Events! If we have a follow-up party of any kind, we're calling them again!

What A Day
We hired Amplified Events to DJ our wedding and we could not have had a better experience with Mike and Marc. Mike made the prep for the music selection and ordering of events for the wedding a breeze; in fact, it may have been our favorite part of wedding planning. From our phone calls leading up to the wedding to the day-of, Mike was friendly and accommodating and it elevated the day for everyone.
Mike is a master showman. Multiple people confided to us on and after the reception that it was one of the most enjoyable weddings they had attended, and Amplified Events played a huge role in that. Spotlights on and transitions between wedding events were excellent and Mike knows how to seamlessly get a group of people onto the dancefloor. Thanks for making it a perfect day, Amplified Events!

Wow, I don’t even know where to begin to describe the OUTSTANDING service, Mike, from Amplified Events provided us.
Continuing with a wedding during a pandemic caused my husband and I to be extremely nervous and not know how the rest of 2020 would play out, so having reassuring vendors became a priority.
Amplified events went ABOVE AND BEYOND. They were super responsive to emails and created the vision my husband and I desired. You don’t want a genre played at your wedding? No problem, Amplified Events got your back with the ‘do not play song list’.
Our wedding day could not have been more perfect and we could not thank them enough. If you book Amplified Events, you will not worry about a song being played off cue or your microphone going out. They also provide much more than what we anticipated: lights, salsa booth, MC, Dinner on Vinyl, the Vibo app, and finally, their overwhelming positivity, support and reassurance.

Mike and his staff were incredible. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding by far. Mike was organized, professional, and kind through every interaction. He was an excellent MC and was flexible with any changes that we required and even took care of things that we didn’t think of. They are the BEST!
Mike was AMAZING! We received so many compliments about how packed our dance floor was all night, and we know we owe that all to Mike! Several of our vendors even commented about how great the music was and how the crowd Mike was also incredibly easy to work with, checking in with us multiple times before the big day and carefully ensuring he got all of the details, names, etc. correct. Mike is Amazing!
We recently had our October, 2019 wedding at Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan, where Mike and Amplified Events were highly recommended. Mike and his team were all amazing and we loved working with them.
Mike was able to have multiple discussions with us to go over our musical tastes and what we wanted out of our wedding. He covered everything from "must" plays, "preferred" plays and "do not" plays, and he stuck to all of our suggestions at the wedding itself. He also was able to help us create specific playlists for the cocktail hour and dinner sessions which differed from the dance song requests. Any songs he did not have in his current playlist he was able to download beforehand. He even was able to mash together two specific songs for a specific dance based on simply providing him with the requested songs and time stamps for the music change. He was also able to supplement our suggestions with his own choices, all of which kept our guests happy and on the dance floor the whole night. We warned him that our family and friends loved to dance if given the right music, and he delivered! We had a lot of long and difficult names to pronounce in our wedding party, and Mike made sure to practice beforehand so he nailed each of them. And finally, in our opinion all of his services were offered at a very favorable and comparably affordable rate!
Overall, we had a great experience with them and would highly recommend Mike and Amplified Events to anyone looking for a wedding DJ in his area!

Look no further - the search for your DJ is over. I cannot begin to express how pleased my husband and I were with Amplified Events. From the start, Mike was incredible about communicating and getting everything in order prior to our big day. He was super accommodating to all of the requests either we or our family made, everything from special song requests/dedications, to incorporating a sound file into the father/daughter dance. During the wedding, the dance floor was constantly alive with people singing and dancing. We received non-stop compliments both during and after the wedding about the song selection and how much fun the night was! Mike (& Eric) at Amplified events are absolutely incredible! from day 1, Mike was so helpful. He touched base, made sure he got to know us, and helped when we were forgetting certain details. My fiance(now husband) and I did all of our wedding planning on our own, so having someone so knowledgeable and experienced to DJ our wedding was very helpful! The day of, he played the PERFECT music for the whole night. He asked ahead of time for some song in categories of "absolutely play", "do NOT play", and "it would be nice if played but also ok if not". He had the categories titled differently, but you get the gist. He thought of things, I otherwise would not have and our wedding day was incredible because of it! My family and friends also raved about Mike!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Amplified Events exceeded our expectations in every way. Mike is a true professional and very easy to work with. He made sure everything ran smoothly the day of. We gave an example list of songs we wanted but let them take over. The dance floor was packed all night! We received so many compliments on the music from our guests. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Gem of a DJ
From the day we booked Mike, he was very responsive and friendly. He was flexible in letting us plan most of the playlist and offered to meet us ahead of time to run through what we could expect for the day. This was super helpful and gave us lots of confidence in our last month of planning. It was after this meeting that we decided to add uplighting from him and it looked fantastic. Everything ran smoothly with Mike at the helm and guests were on the dance floor all night. We couldn't have imagined a better night!

Amplified Events did such an amazing job at our wedding! Mike is such an easy going guy and really just helped capture the perfect day for us. Not only was Mike our DJ for our reception but he was also our officiant for our ceremony! He made things so easy. He told us exactly what we needed to do and made finding the right music to use so easy! I felt like it was a couple things just lifted off my shoulders that I didn't have to worry about! Mike and Eric could not have been more fun for our reception. Everyone loved them! They kept people dancing the entire night and our reception went until midnight! There are so many different packages you can do when going with Amplified events but one I would not hesitate on is the up lighting! That made the entire venue look absolutely stunning! We had so many compliments. The venue is looking into their own up lighting now because of Mike! Thank you again for helping make our special day the one we always dreamed of!

Simply amazing! We waiting until the last min to get a dj and Mike and his guys stepped in and saved the day. The online tools are very simple and they take the time to actually sit down and get to know you! Highly highly recommend!
They set everything up and everyone that needed to be mic’d, were. The atmosphere was set perfectly! Everyone was able to hear and enjoy the music and fun! The additional items are worth every penny! If you are thinking about it, do it!

Amplified Events did a great job at our wedding! First, they provided music and mics for our outdoor ceremony. Everything went smoothly! Afterward, they moved the speaker to our cocktail hour nearby and played our requested soft rock playlist. They set up their DJ equipment and lights in the reception room where we expected the dancing to happen. As the night went on, the party started moving outside so everyone could dance under the stars. They quickly accommodated by moving the speakers and lights outside to keep the party going! We received several compliments from the guests about the songs the DJs, Chris and Eric, were playing and how smooth their transitions were. We couldn't be happier with their service!

First off, he is so good-natured and really joined in the fun of planning out-of-the-box songs for the different time points during the reception; he really made the planning fun. The planning website is easy to navigate, which made making specific pre-event song requests simple. He even found very specific old-school GERMAN songs on the spot during the reception- so perfect for our crowd! The up-lighting really set the mood and he worked seamlessly with our venue. The quality of his sound-system was excellent. Seriously, if they're available for your event, book Amplified Events- you will not regret it!

Okay, if you’re reading this, book Amplified Events! First off, everything was perfect! Chris and Ben were so amazing!!! I kept getting compliments from guests at my wedding on how good the music was! I haven’t seen my grandma enter a dance floor in years, yet they got her to dance out there with us!
Chris was also excellent with communication! He was patient, picked up my musical taste instantly, and rolled with the fact that our time line got a little messed up perfectly.
Also Mike is so easy to work with from the beginning. He is quick to answer and questions, he listens to your needs well, and is very professional yet fun!
I could not been more pleased with how Amplified Events did and you bet I will be referring everyone I know in need of a DJ to them!

We booked Amplified Events for our wedding & couldn't be happier with them. They set the atmosphere perfectly all night with a great sounding system & a classy mix of music; we really felt that they understood exactly the mood we wanted & did a wonderful job rising to the occasion.
They were also super easy to work with, providing a handy form in advance where we could make special requests or suggestions (including a "do not play" list, a blessing for those not looking to cha-cha slide on their special day.) They had no trouble handling some of our more unusual song requests & were able to fill in the gaps perfectly. Their attitude was professional, friendly, & courteous.
On top of all this, they seem to genuinely enjoy & care about the art of the mix, always reading the mood of the dancefloor well & keeping the party moving smoothly. We had a nice blend of sentimental soul towards the beginning of the night that gradually made way to the more raucous fun stuff after the old folks & kids went to bed. I was particularly impressed after requesting "Music Sounds Better With You" (which I neglected to include on the original form) & they not only obliged, but seamlessly blended it into two other favorites. We were extremely satisfied with Amplified Events & would gladly recommend them to anybody looking for a DJ in the area.

My husband and I could not have been happier with Mike Kane from Amplified Events. Mike was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator who could not say enough good things, so we already had a good feeling about him. After meeting with him, we felt Mike understood us and our kind of music and the kind of atmosphere we were hoping for. He made sure he could pronounce the bridal party and parent's names and he went over all the details of how the night would run. Mike was easy to get in touch with in the weeks and days leading up to our wedding and he always got back to us promptly. The dance floor was always full and people had a great time dancing. So many people came up to us during the wedding and afterwards praising Mike and the music, saying it was the best wedding ever. Mike not only took care of the music for our reception, but also officiated our wedding and took care of the ceremony music. He was very organized and fun to work with in all aspects. From about five minutes into our phone conversation, I knew that we did not need to look any further for our wedding DJ. Mike definitely knows what he is doing. Easily the best DJ Tim and I have ever worked with. His professionalism was outstanding. He was able to fill in the blanks that we failed to even think about, and had awesome suggestions when were stuck between decisions. He is extremely organized and super helpful. His personality is one of a kind and meshed with us right away. He was able to transition all of the kinds of music we loved, as well as playing the roll of a sports announcer. Mike DJed my wedding in Sperryville, VA back in September 2016. I've known him for about 20 years.
He is, simply put, the best DJ I've ever known and one of the most honorable and dedicated men you'll ever meet.
Indeed, some of my guests, even a year later, still bring up how awesome he was when talking my wedding.
A few examples of my time working with him:
- Mike is cool under pressure. My wife and I planned the wedding ourselves and many of the little details we neglected until game time. Literally less than an hour before the wedding, Mike was helping me pick a few last songs for the ceremony. I gave him a very vague vision for what we'd like and he knew the exact right song. We couldn't have done it without him!
- Mike has a canny ability to read a room and tailor the music to the mood and audience. You that moment in the wedding when people are still not really on the dance floor but need that little push to get the party started? Mike knew our crowd and played exactly the jams to pack the dance floor. ("Party in the USA" in our case.!)
- Mike is a consummate professional. He's not one of those DJs that thinks he knows best and goes over the heads of the bride and groom. Indeed, he respected our music selections and kindly eschewed things we didn't want to do (like the Chicken Dance). Also, he knows how to delicately deal with the drunks who make absurd requests that will kill the party.
- Mike understands the importance of the moment yet knows how to have fun. Between the first dance and the dance-off, Mike knows when to be serious and when to be silly, and fosters an atmosphere that enables both and creates memories that will last a lifetime.

Mike Kane and I were members of a trivia team that tried to get together on a weekly basis. He always impressed me with his music knowledge, but I had the privilege of seeing his true character right after my engagement. Mike took the time to make a detailed list of excellent vendors throughout NWI/Chicagoland. From the get-go, it was obvious that he’s passionate and very professional about his work.
Shortly thereafter, we met Mike for lunch, and he walked us through the many options we’d have available on our big day. For some, planning the minute details of a wedding can be overwhelming, but having someone like Mike as a guide through each step made everything so much easier — and FUN!
All of the vendors we worked with for our wedding were pumped to hear Mike would be working with us as well. That really meant a lot, and helped us make our decision.
Mike was on-point any time I had a question regarding lighting and/or our playlist, which he took care of during the ceremony, dinner, and reception. He even played some of our favorite vinyl to add to the ambiance at dinner!
If you’re looking for an experienced DJ, who will wow your guests and keep them on the dance floor, Amplified will not disappoint!

Michael Kane was the DJ at our wedding in Aug. 2015. He made the planning so easy and was flexible to work with. The sound was fantastic. He had great lighting features too. Mike was a DJ long before he decided to make a career out of it. Entertaining and hosting parties always came so natural. Some of my favorite college memories were at Mike's parties where he made certain everyone had an amazing night. "Epic" was often the word thrown around the next day.
He's come a long way from those days perfecting his craft and turning his passion into a career. I have attended events as well as weddings where Mike has been the DJ and it's never a let down. He is extremely personable, accommodating, and most importantly gets to know his crowd. If you are a bride or groom he will get to know your wants and needs and deliver.

Our experience with Amplified Events and Mike Kane specifically was everything we hoped for. Throughout the process, Mike was friendly and fun, yet still very professional and without being the least bit overbearing or unpleasant. On the day of our wedding, he ran everything smoothly, handled all the details we weren't concerned with, and fit in just about every single one of our song requests while keeping the party much more hopping than we had expected.
Mike Kane is an excellent DJ, and especially so in all the ways don't involve playing music. He kept the energy alive without drawing much attention to himself, and from guest accounts afterwards, he was incredibly personable the whole reception without slacking on any of his duties. From our perspective, he was perfect at letting us know when we had dawdled too long on one stage of the reception without making us feel in the least bit rushed. An all around great guy to work with, and a fantastic choice for any wedding.
